I am blown away by the experience while working with Rodrigo. His EXPERT eye, positive attitude and ambition to get the best and perfect shots, made him the best photographer for my wedding. I highly recommend you to consider him for your wedding day as he has been super consistent since the moment of meeting him. He answered every question, gave great feedback and his personality/professionalism makes you feel so comfortable, just as if you’ve know him for a while. Rodrigo made our wedding experience so easy and so fun! He was so great around all of the wedding guests and made everyone feel at ease. Everyone felt like they could just be themselves and Rodrigo was able to capture so many beautiful photos and amazing candid photos as well. From booking - to video chats in the planning phase - Rodrigo was so easy to communicate with and he really listened to what kind of vibe we wanted. He also made inputs about what he thought would be a great photo opportunity and I'm so glad we listened because they turned out to be some of our favorite photos! We can't thank Rodrigo enough for capturing our memories! -

Rodrigo was AMAZING! He was a life saver in making sure we knew what to expect, recommendations on making things run smoothly, and handling family and friends through the process. His photos were amazing! we had a small venue that had to be hard to shoot, it was literally 95 degrees and it rained. I mean we threw all of it at him and he still pulled off beautiful shots without feeling stressed or forced! i HIGHLY recommend

We hired Rodrigo to photograph our special day on 10/24/20. He went above and BEYOND what we could have expected. He is professional, personable and just so knowledgeable! We paid our venue extra just to not use their standard photographer, but to contract Rodrigo and the awesome team at TLP. He knew all the spots around the property and made us feel so comfortable throughout the whole day and night. We both are not that great with getting our photo taken, but Rodrigo walked us through everything and always with a sincere smile and a laugh. He is ridiculously funny! We also asked Rodrigo to photograph our reception. When our coordinator left and we didn't know what to do- Rodrigo immediately stepped in and took charge of the schedule, working with the DJ, the banquet staff- while still taking breathtaking photos!!!! We are forever grateful that we hired Rodrigo and highly recommend you contact him for your wedding!! Honestly- he is the REAL DEAL! AMAZING!! -

I imagine that when most folks are selecting their wedding vendors, they start with maybe the venue, then get into catering, etc. Finding a photographer is perhaps finding someone who fits in with everyone else's schedule. For us, it was the opposite. We found Rodrigo and his work and made everything work with his timeline. He was the one collaborator we felt we couldn't do without, and he did not disappoint.
If you are thinking of hiring Rodrigo and the team at TLP you should know he has a no BS attitude. Rodrigo was there to make things awesome and was incredibly direct on what needed to happen for that to work - his decades of experience sets him apart from others. For us, this was a perfect match, making all of our work together more enjoyable and lower stress. That is not to say Rodrigo was no fun. Quite the opposite! We laughed through every touchpoint with with his team and had a fantastic time.
None of that has yet spoken to the actual photography. Suffice it to say, Rodrigo simply did awesome work. When I compare the quality of photos we received to those of others we have looked through, there is just no contest. His rates were not low, but competitive but the quality of his work and service was simply unmatched.
I can not recommend Rodrigo highly enough. -

I am OBSESSED with our photos (both wedding & portrait shoot). I found The Love Portfolio online through another couple that had been married at our venue (The Vinoy). I loved the editorial and romantic style. I was a little hesitant because I love a good first-hand recommendation but couldn’t compare his photos to any other wedding photographer. During our initial conversation it was easy and flowed super well. He knew our venue (which could have tricky lighting) and got our vision. During our engagement shoot he was able to get to know my husband and I and we were able to get to know him. He made us both super comfortable in front of the camera. When we received our engagement session photos we were blown away..making us so excited for the capturing of the big day! Rodrigo and his assistant, Santo, (who was LOVELY) were right on time, easy-going, and got pictures of everything without being pushy or overwhelming. They worked with our big families requests and many personalities. They captured the very best parts of the very best day. So, THIS IS YOUR FIRST HAND RECOMMENDATION…if you like the style (timeless, classic, romantic, editorial, perfectly edited & candid) book then now. We are in love with our photos and EVERYONE has made comments about how stunning they are. We cannot thank them enough! -

Rodrigo was absolutely amazing to work with. We are from NY and had small intimate ceremony and reception. He captured everything from that day. The weather in the afternoon wasn't great at all and we took some really amazing photos inside at the resort. He is truly passionate about his work. We were able to joke around and talk like old friends. It was so amazing! -

Rodrigo is the the ultimate wedding professional. The first time we met, I quickly learned how weddings worked! He left no moment unaccounted for, and he basically planned my day from start to finish. For someone as indecisive as myself, that advice was priceless. The turn around time with our photos was quick, in my opinion, and the quality was everything we had hoped for. He gave us memories we will cherish forever. This vendor is by far the best to work with. We’ve used him for our engagement photos, maternity shoot and our wedding photos. He’s very professional and also super down to earth/funny. He’s willing to travel to you which is a plus for a lot of people. -

I’d use Rodrigo again and again
I am so happy I had Rodrigo for my wedding. At the Initial phone consult, he made it a priority to understand my goals for my big day. He had wonderful suggestions for hair as I had an outdoor wedding. He was an absolute pleasure— funny and down to earth. The day of my wedding he was on time and ran the show. I loved it. He knew what moments I wanted captured and worked his but off to get them. He has such a passion for his work, you can see the intimacy in every shot he takes. He made me feel like a Queen. He worked all night long to ensure I received amazing candidates of myself, my husband and my guests! I’m so happy I used him and you will be too! My pictures were ready so fast!!! Rodrigo was absolutely AMAZING!!!! His passion and talent for photography is incredible!!! His photos came out GORGEOUS!!! We couldn’t be happier with our wedding photos and my bridal photos with my bridesmaids in our robes!! Rodrigo created masterpiece of photos with elegant touch and romance! He really captured our love in every single angle of every photo!! ❤️ In every moment he gave us exact guidance and tips on how to pose so that we would have amazing photos!!! :) He was very precise and detailed!! Rodrigo captured every little moment even when I didn’t think anyone was going to capture it from silly faces during our ceremony to laughs in our reception!!!
