Our wedding day was a dream come true thanks to The Aqua Turf Club! As any bride knows, while your wedding day is supposed to be the happiest day of your life, it can also be one of the most stressful! But The Aqua Turf made everything feel so easy and made sure that everything was exactly the way we wanted it. The staff are phenominal, professional, and more than accommodating. Anytime I had a question or concern they immediately responded and put any worries at ease. Not to mention, their facility is breathtaking and a photographers’s dream! Our wedding day couldn’t have been as perfect as it was if we went anywhere else. Brides: this is your dream venue!!

AMAZING! I would use Aqua Turf again & again!

Aqua Turf listened to every single thing we wanted, even if it was an accommodation. Please, please, PLEASE work with Ryan if you can. He was absolutely amazing. I literally had my perfect day because of how awesome he is!

Flawless from every aspect

Aqua Turf knows exactly what to do, and it’s no surprise that they are the best in the business once you’ve been to an event here. Alyssa was amazing with answering questions so quickly, the staff was attentive and friendly, my bridal assistant Emma was super sweet and calming. The food was great nothing here was less than perfection could not say enough good things highly recommend.

Perfect Experience!

The Aqua Turf Club was absolutely wonderful for my wedding. We had around 175 people and were in the Waggon Room. All the staff was so kind and professional. It was clear we were working with years of experience and expertise. Absolutely everything went perfectly on our wedding day! I will be recommending them to everyone I know!

Wedding 2.0 💍

We have been to the Aqua Turf back in 2015 for another couples wedding . We loved the Wagon Room and the Aqua Turf venue as a whole ! We were so blessed to have the Aqua Turf as our venue and be in the same room again , Wagon Room almost 10 years later.
We kept in touch with the venue through Wedding Wire, they responded the same day or the following day, and it was great meeting everyone in person throughout the process of our wedding. We would recommend this venue to other friends and families who would want to do an event here in the future !
Our families and friends loved the venue , they were in such awe, they loved the staff and how great they were the kids and keeping on top of everything ! They were interacting with our guests , making sure they had everything they needed, and we would be so happy to go back again!

Organized, quick response, helpful, delicious food and excellent service!

The BEST day ever! From start to finish planning our wedding at the aqua turf was the best experience ever. Our Coordinator Alyssa was so helpful and knowledgeable when answering ALL of my questions. Staff was attentive, our Maitre’D Ryan and head server were the best, they brought food and drinks to the bridal suite during pictures, made sure we took time out to eat during dinner and along with Becky, made sure the night went smoothly. The food was delicious and the drinks were strong. Everyone we talked to raved how perfectly the pasta and filet were cooked. A top notch place with beautiful grounds for pictures. I will forever recommend the Aqua Turf, I wish we could do the night over it was that great!

Amazing and professional!

Everything about our experience with the Aquaturf Club was incredible. Their quick response emails, ease of storing wedding decorations the week of, the entire staffs attentiveness during our wedding, everything.

Beyond it being an absolutely beautiful location, it’s truly the staff that made the experience as amazing as it was. Our Maitre D, Brianna, was always one step ahead and made me feel seen and helped the entire day. The supporting waitstaff made everything run seamlessly, not to mention ALL of my guests raving about the ambiance and the FOOD. While having a beautiful day and great food was important to me for my wedding, the staff is truly what made this day feel as amazing as it was. Can not recommend this venue enough!!!

Fantastic wedding venue

My husband and I were so pleased with Aqua Turf as our wedding venue this past June, 2022. The team (most especially Bobby and Alyssa) were responsive, helpful, and professional from beginning to end. They were flexible and accommodating, answering all our many questions promptly and working with us to make our event exactly what we wanted. The day of, the food was delicious and served on time; the maitre'd, Ryan, was kind, communicative and kept things running smoothly; the bartenders and servers were professional and just good at what they do; and all our guests were happy. As a venue and a team, they really went above and beyond. We looked at other options before selecting Aqua Turf and are confident that the pricing here was very reasonable for what we got, and we would definitely recommend them as a venue to our own family and friends.

Such a Beautiful venue!

Absolutely beautiful grounds for pictures. We had the Wagon room which was spacious and has a unique decor to it which made the reception even more special. The venue was also accommodating especially with covid and the restrictions lifting so close to the wedding date and by then our guest list was less and less, but the venue was so amazing with it all. Just make sure to continue to ask your wants, it’s your special day of course!

Nothing short of amazing

I can hardly put into words how happy we are to have chosen the Aqua Turf as our wedding reception venue. From the very beginning, they were responsive to any questions I had and helped with anything I needed. Once the pandemic hit, they tried to ease my mind despite no one knowing what was going to happen in the coming months/year. They made it clear that they were extremely flexible in terms of postponing or cancelling our event at any time, and even reserved us a second room that was available in case we ended up needing more space.

We did end up postponing from August 2020 to May 2021 and they even honored our original pricing. They worked with us on everything and calmed me down every time I had a concern about table sizes, room minimums, timing, etc. On our wedding day, everything was beautiful and seamless. The food and service was fantastic and the Viennese table can’t be beat!

None of the staff was anything less than professional and accommodating even though they have been going through a hard hit just like everyone else. Extra special thanks to Lauren for giving us the tour and helping us book, Bobby and Karen for being so responsive even when they were closed down over the winter, and Larry for managing our event and making sure everything moved along on time. The Aqua Turf is full of true professionals that know exactly what they are doing and truly care about their clients and guests, and we are so fortunate to have had our reception there!

Highly, HIGHLY Recommend for Wedding!

We just had our wedding yesterday at the Aqua Turf and WOW! It was everything we wanted and more! Alyssa was our coordinator and she was amazing, from the initial meeting, answering all the questions in between, and all the way up to day before! We got married in the chapel and it was adorable, highly recommend having your ceremony there! The service was amazing, Andrew made sure everything was running smoothly and couldn't be more attentive to myself and husband entire day! Everbody was so accommodating from the minute the limo pulled in all the way to the last dance! All our guests were saying how beautiful the place was and the food....oh wow, the food was absolutely delicious! We did the buffet option and there was plenty of food and was constantly refreshed! Overall, I highly, highly recommend the Aqua Turf for your wedding, you won't be disappointed! Thanks Aqua Turf for one of the best days ever! =)

We could not have picked a better venue!

This venue was more than accommodating and made our day feel absolutely special. The staff were fantastic and patient. They made the whole day feel so simple and easy and that’s what you want as a bride not to have to worry about a thing from beginning to end. I was obsessed with the complimentary dry ice for our first dance. It was an amazing touch.

Exceptional!

We couldn’t have been happier with our wedding at Aqua Turf. We had our reception in Kay’s Pier South, and Eddie was our Maitre D. He was so attentive and always available for whatever we needed during the day. Our guests were so amazed when they were offered SECONDS of their meals, which were already LARGE portions, and they all couldn’t stop raving about how delicious the food was. Numerous guests even told us it was the best wedding they have ever been to! Needless to say, we can’t wait to recommend Aqua Turf to our friends and family - we can’t wait to attend a wedding there!

Best place ever!

My husband and I checked out a few venues before booking our wedding at the Aqua Turf. We loved the atmosphere all around as well as in the Wagon Room. It suited us perfectly because it was spacious and comfortable but beautiful without being showy. We had no idea just how wonderful this place really was when we booked either. Our wedding day was perfect and so much has to do with the staff. They were so great throughout the whole process. I could call or email questions during the planning and would always get a response quickly. For anyone deep in the planning, you know how important that is! On the day, our maitre D, Eddie, was fantastic. He was right on top of everything the whole day. My parents still talk about how helpful he was! The bartenders were fun too. The food was delicious and it felt like it was never ending! People have not stopped raving about it! My guests were happy that they left full and many with to-go containers! Both my husband and I are so happy with our decision to use the Aqua Turf for our wedding. If I could throw every party I had there I honestly would. I can't even fully express just how wonderful it was. It is a beautiful place with a lot of different areas for pictures, there is plenty of parking, and it is easy to find. I don't have one bad thing to say about it.

Incredible venue and service

I cannot express how wonderful and fantastic they were from the start of planning my wedding to the day after when I went to go pick up the decorations. My guest and bridal party were just as pleased. We are from out of town and the guest were amazed by the ground and the food (especially since the offered seconds). The bridal party was ecstatic that they were able to partake in cocktail hour even while taking photos. Truly I could go on but they made my vision come true and it was most certainly a day/night to remember.

When driving into the Aqua Turf you immediately know they are a step above the rest before walking into the front door when you are greeted with water fountains and beautiful detailed landscaping surrounding the whole property. We did not hesitate to book a date for the Kay’s Pier North room after meeting with Alyssa. This is their largest room with high ceilings, large windows, uplighting, beautiful views, the perfect bar, and a back deck area with outdoor seating. We immediately fell in love with the venue, the room, and most importantly the people at the Aqua Turf.
We attended their Bridal Show with our families which we would highly recommend attending. We sampled a ton of food (and of course the drinks at the bar) as well as meet with various vendors to get ideas. This is a must do!
Alyssa was very responsive to our calls, emails, and very accommodating for when we wanted to stop by for a visit. No option was left off the table when we were planning which included:
- Food served at the cocktail hour
- Main courses (highly recommend the Surf & Turf!)
- Desserts including coffee and espresso
- Allowing us to come to the property early for our first look before the ceremony
- Outdoor accommodations for cocktail hour and for the back deck area
- Linen colors, napkin folds, chair covers
- Table placement for guests, parents, wedding party, and sweetheart table
- And many more topics
Overall, our wedding day was perfect because we had it at the Aqua Turf. It has been almost a month now and our guests are still talking about it saying it was the best wedding they had ever been to or it was the wedding of the year! Everybody was complimenting the service, the food, the room, everything and could just not say enough good things about the Aqua Turf and the day as a whole. I just wanted to thank Alyssa again and everybody at the Aqua Turf for accommodating our families, friends, and us and making our day extremely special and one that we will never forget!

We could not have picked a better place than the Aqua Turf Club. There are so many reasons why this venue was so incredible. We liked that each room had their own personality - whether it be an elaborate big wedding or an intimate rustic venue (we choose the Wagon Room). The staff went above and beyond for everything - from responding to all our questions throughout the planning period, to setting up everything in the venue and chapel to making sure the wedding party had their fair share of appetizers during the cocktail hour as we continued photos. Everything was incredible! We want to thank Alyssa C. especially for helping us along the way - a top notch venue and we are so thankful for everything you and your team did for our special day. I could rant and rave about the Aqua Turf all day, but I will try to keep it brief. We went to the Aqua Turf Bridal Show in January of 2016 where we were able to meet the staff, taste the food, and walk the grounds - we instantly knew we needed to have our wedding there. We booked our ceremony in the chapel and our reception in the Glass Room, and are so thankful that we did! The venue and their staff answered any and all questions fully and in a timely manner. They were able to work with every nuance we wanted on our special day, including cigar bars, memory tables, specialty beers for the bar, etc. There wasn't anything that we asked about that we heard the word no to. The day of the wedding was flawless from the food, to the reception room, the chapel, the desserts, the service, and so much more. Our maitre d was on top of every detail and so attentive to my fiancé and I, making sure we sat down to eat, getting us drinks throughout the night, coordinating our guests and every aspect of our day. At the end of the night, the lights came on and I immediately started stressing about all the things I would need to pack up and get home to turn around and find everything boxed up and waiting for us; the cake was in a box for us, our entire bridal suite was cleaned up, candles and frames were put together, everything was ready to go. Our wedding was everything we could have asked for and more, and most of that is due to the Aqua Turf and their staff putting everything together flawlessly. I would recommend the Aqua Turf to my closest friends and family again and again!

Can't say enough about Aqua Turf. They are very experienced in the business of weddings. Even though there were several different weddings going on I never felt ran into the other wedding guests or wedding party. I felt like the day was all mine! Thank you Aqua Turf!!!!

When I first started looking for the perfect venue I didn't know where to start. But when I went to Aqua Turf the beautiful grounds and the amazing staff sold me. I was confident this would be the perfect spot. And sure enough it was PERFECT! Could not have asked for a better venue and staff. The entire staff (Sorry if I don't remember everyone!) But Meghan/maître d, was beyond amazing! She always made sure Aaron and I were doing well throughout the entire event. Alyssa was also extremely helpful with all the planning, financing, and was so patient with all our questions.
It was a dream wedding! Much more than I could ever have imagined! Aqua Turf Club is highly recommended!!

We held our daughter Bianca and son-in-law's Aaron wedding ceremony and reception at the Aqua Turf Club on Sunday, June 11, 2017. Alyssa worked with us and the first time we met with her to discuss prices and options, we were confident that we had picked the best place and people to hold our daughter's wedding.
On the wedding day, everything was perfect! The entire staff: Meghan/maître d, Karen/manager, Dawn, Luis and Marilyn/bridal party did an outstanding job!!
We could not have been happier with the way everything turned out. We would absolutely recommend the Aqua Turf Club to anyone.

Everyone in my family, my bridal party and all of my guests would agree that the Aqua turf deserves a 5 star rating! I received many praises about the wait staff and the MC. Eddie with there for my husband and I at every step of the way! We totally felt valued and the day went smoothly. We did the Saturday morning special for our wedding package and it was perfect! From the moment we toured the facility, we knew that this would be the perfect wedding venue...we were not disappointed. Alyssa worked with us from the first day to discuss all of our options and she was wonderfully responsive to all of our questions. On the day of our wedding, Larry was our maitre d' and took wonderful care of us. The waitstaff were attentive to our guests throughout the night and the fire pit and fireplace offered great gathering places for a chilly fall evening. Fantastic experience from start to finish - highly recommended!!!

Aqua Turf Club review

We held our wedding ceremony and reception at the Aqua Turf Club on Saturday, July 16, 2016. After searching many wedding venues in Massachusetts and Connecticut, we found that the Aqua Turf Club was the most beautiful, affordable and accommodating of all the locations we visited. They also offered open bar all night at a very reasonable price per person (not by consumption!). Tim met with us initially, answered our questions and alleviated any concerns we had. He also suggested using a local bus company for shuttling our guests in which ended up being very helpful. Throughout the time prior to the wedding, circumstances caused us to ask for many changes and the Aqua Turf Club proved to be very flexible in this regard. In January, they held their yearly food tasting and this was crucial to our selections of our dinner choices. We also met Larry who we later chose to be our Maitre'D. All of the food was delicious and served in plentiful supply. The Prime Rib was enormous and the salmon was delicious! If you are able, we highly recommend attending this event as all are welcome and you can bring as many guests as you like for a fixed price per person.

On the day of the wedding, everything went smoothly and Larry was instrumental in keeping everything in order and everyone was where they needed to be for the ceremony as well as the rehearsal. He also attended to us frequently and even provided my mom a large pitcher of Strawberry Daquiri so that she wouldn't have to go back and forth to the bar. Throughout the night he was equally helpful to the other guests per their needs. Everyone spoke highly of the quality of service and friendliness of the staff, the beauty of the facility grounds and the fine flavor of the food. During the evening some of the guests even hung out around the fire pit and complimented how great it was. We have nothing but good things to say about the Aqua Turf Club and its staff.

We had our reception in the Aqua Turf's Glass Room and it was absolutely beautiful. We were so impressed with their professionalism and attention to detail. When we arrived for photos during the cocktail hour they had two servers ready to take care of us and the wedding party completely - I've had so many friends who have told me their biggest regret from their wedding day was not getting to take advantage of the hors d'oeuvres or cocktails so this made us extremely happy. The food was delicious and presentation was amazing. You can tell the Aqua Turf has every detail planned out so that the day is as stress-free as possible for the bride and groom. They were so great to work with and had no problem accommodating our planning a wedding from a few states away. I would absolutely recommend the Aqua Turf to anyone!

I can not say enough good things about the Aqua Turf Club. They are a wedding machine! They clearly have amazing experience and do this all the time but they made us feel like our day was special to them! They were super helpful during the planning stage. The day of the wedding they ensured everything went smoothly, ensured every detail was taken care of and ensured my groom and I had the time of our lives! The Aquaturf is the picture perfect place to have a wedding. Our wedding took place in the chapel with the reception following in the Glass ballroom. The chapel is rustic New England and beautiful in every way. Our reception was perfect - the food was amazing, the service was amazing, and little touches were amazing. Despite the fact that there were other weddings taking place, my husband and I felt like we were the only wedding there.

My husband and I used Aqua Turf Outside Catering for our wedding this past July. We worked with Bobby Thompson the whole time and he was excellent, answered any questions I had very quickly. As we got closer to the big day he made sure I knew how to contact him if I needed anything. Bobby made the whole process very easy and stress free. The day of the wedding, we had the pleasure of having Dawn as our event Manager. She was amazing!! Set up was run quickly and efficiently ( even with me poking around!). The entire staff was great- they were so friendly, we saw lots of sincere smiles! Sonia and Dawn were "assigned" to me for the evening and I absolutely loved them! Several guests and my close family members commented about how wonderful, friendly and professional the entire Aqua Turf staff was. Excellent, excellent job. The food was fantastic too!!

When I went to go and look at the Aqua turf for my wedding it was great the person who showed us around showed us every room so we could see which room was best for us and the staff was wonderful. The reason we choose the Aqua turf was because it fit all our needs as well as our fantasys for our wedding. We used Aqua Turf for our catering company off site at the Webb Barn... Everything was amazing from the setup, service and coordination to the food and drink. Bobby and his team did an amazing job. All of our guests were so impressed by how great the food and service was at our wedding. My husband and I were catered to throughout the entire evening including being followed with a tray of appetizers and drinks while we were taking pictures. I would HIGHLY recommend if you are looking for a catering company to use the Aqua Turf. They are top of the line and so easy to work with. I couldn't imagine the day going any smoother or the food & drinks tasting any better. I didn't have to think about coordinating or organizing anything as Bobby did the work! At one point he even helped with bustling my dress when the bridesmaids were having some difficulty. Aqua Turf is the best!

Our ceremony was held in the adorable chapel on site at the Turf, and the reception was in the Wagon Room. The professionalism, attention to detail, quality of food and service, and overall experience at the Aqua Turf Club cannot be rivaled. From start to finish everything was meticulously flawless. The food was delicious and the staff were exceptional. We had a large bridal party and during photos and throughout the whole evening we were never wanting for food or drink. One of my bridesmaids ripped her dress and the Aqua Turf had a needle and matching thread and we were able to fix it on the spot!!! As a bride, it was so important to be as worry free as possible during the planning and more importantly during the wedding day. Every decoration and favor was placed exactly where I requested. We also purchased our floral centerpieces for the guest tables through the Aqua Turf's florist. Not only was this much easier than bringing in an outside florist (and less expensive!!), the centerpieces were stunning. The Aqua Turf is the total package.

The Aqua Turf made our wedding the most fantastic day it could possibly have been. From the day I began planning our wedding they were there for me with anything I needed. They let me come down to the property many times during my planning. They helped me through every aspect of the wedding planning. The food is fantastic. Cocktail hour was to die for and they dinner was beyond our expectations. They even asked our guests if they wanted seconds and gave take home containers. They give you a ton of food. No one went hungry. The staff and service throughout the wedding was impeccable. All of our guests commented on how attentive they all were to all there needs. The Aqua Turf is top notch and that's all there really is to it!!!!!

Aqua Turf exceeded my expectations!! I worked with Debbie in the office and she was always very responsive, helpful, and friendly. My Banquet manager was Karen and she worked seamlessly with my DOC. She and the rest of the staff continually checked with myself and my *husband* to see if everything was up to our standards of it we needed anything. They even went as far as fulfilling a special request for my elderly grandmother. Our ceremony was in the Chapel and our reception in the Glass Room. The food was impeccable! Guests kept coming up to us all night commenting on how good and plentiful the food was (we went with the contemporary reception). The filet melted in your mouth!! The Venetian table was amazing and I would highly recommend it to anyone. There is literally any dessert you could want on it. Aqua Turf is a beautiful facility with amazing staff!! We would highly recommend Aqua Turf to anyone looking for a venue for their wedding.

AMAZING! From start to finish the Aqua Turf Club staff helps make your wedding PERFECT! Our guests are still raving about our venue.

The grounds are perfectly manicured and maintained. The food is absolutely amazing and it keeps coming....our guests were able to choose between 5 different entrees (3 meal choices in addition to the 2 vegetarian choices). When they were finished eating their plated meal, they were asked if they would like more....this is unheard of at wedding venues.

Above and beyond does not even come close to describing the service! Our ring bearer was down for the count as soon as the reception began (6pm). At most venues, the kids curl up on a couple chairs placed together in the corner. NOT at the Aqua Turf! The staff carried in a love seat from the foyer for him to comfortably sleep on, and he did. Our guests were simply floored!

As a bride, I had so many little loose ends that I needed to tie that day....no need, the staff was there from the moment we arrived on property to take care of anything we needed. From finding hairspray and band-aids to tracking down my candles for the chapel and getting them in place.

Guys...it wasn't just the girls that received all the extra attention! The groom and groomsmen had the same experience. The staff helped pin on their boutonnieres, let them know where they were supposed to be and helped keep the bride and groom from seeing each other for a full 3 hours on the property before the wedding (we took many of our pictures ahead of time to allow us all to enjoy our reception to the fullest).

The service level at this venue is beyond imagination. I simply cannot find the words to explain easy they made the whole wedding process for us. They provided us with the wedding of our dreams!

If you want the perfect wedding at an unbelievably reasonable price (full open bar included), please do yourself a favor and speak with either Debbie or Melissa at the Aqua Turf Club!

You can't go wrong with the Aqua Turf. The food is excellent and your guests will talk about it for years after your wedding! There are a variety of packages, and the value is unbeatable! My package even included the floral centerpieces, which were absolutely beautiful! They were exactly what I had dreamed of! We also had ice sculptures as part of our package, and they custom made the to look like our college mascot and logo! We wanted to have a Bourbon station, and they not only provided that as an option, they obtained special décor to make it look beautiful by using a half barrel as part of the bar. You should seriously choose the Aqua Turf - you will not be disappointed.

The Aqua Turf Club was the most beautiful setting for our wedding. The grounds are just spectacular. From day 1, the staff was courteous and helpful each time we talked to them. We were in the Wagon Room, which is so unique and beautiful. The food is absolutely amazing! Our guests were amazed at how delicious it was. When the staff came out with seconds and "doggie bags" to take some home, people couldn't believe it! On our wedding day, all of the staff made everything run so smoothly. They paid attention to every little detail to make our day perfect!

Highly recommended! I had worked with Bobbi for my wedding day. Everything about this place is unbelievable. Everyone of my guest could not believe the quality and amount of food that was offered to them, they were asked if they wanted seconds and it they wanted to bring their leftovers home! Our wedding at Aquaturf last October was AMAZING! The Wagon Room that we chose was the perfect room for our more rustic fall wedding. The staff there helped us to custom create our own details as we did not select an all-inclusive package. I have food allergies so they were very sensitive to that which I appreciated. They were very responsive and answered all of our crazy and frequent questions. On the day of the wedding, our maitre de, along with the rest of the staff, were so fantastic! They set up all of the centerpieces according to a sample we had laid out. They took such great care of the bridal party in particular (checking up on us throughout the whole night to make sure we had anything we needed, that everything was exactly how we expected). Everyone loved the food - they even sent people home with extra prime rib! They packed everything up (decorations, extra cake, etc.) for us at the end of the night. I would HIGHLY recommend this venue!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about the Aqua Turf. We had our ceremony there on June 2nd in the Chapel and then reception in the Wagon Room and I could not have asked for a more perfect wedding. Before the wedding I worked with Alyssa in the office and she was fantastic to work with. Any questions I had I emailed her she got back to me right away.

On the day of our wedding the weather was very hot, but the AT made sure the chapel was nice and cool for our guests. After the ceremony as we were taking pictures outside they brought out platters of food and a drink cart to us. Larry was our maitre d’ and he went above and beyond to make sure not only the wedding party, but every one of our guests was taken care of.

EVERYONE kept telling us how phenomenal the food and the service was. I cannot tell you how many of our guest told us it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to because of the food, service and the venue itself.

Not only was the food fantastic there was plenty of it. People could not believe how much food there was and the size of the portions. Most people only ate half of their entrée so the Aqua Turf gave to-go boxes if you did not finish!! (I have never seen that at a wedding!)

Choosing the Aqua Turf was the best decision we have ever made. Thank you so much Aqua Turf for making our special day so amazing!!

My daughter's wedding was February 8, 2013--the day of Blizzard Nemo in Connecticut. Aqua Turf Club was AMAZING! They were accomodating and most welcoming. I can go on forever telling you all the great things about them.
First of all, because of the Blizzard they allowed us to cancel guests. I don't know of any other place that would allow that. They even allowed us to move everything two and half hours earlier. Secondly, their staff was amazing. Melissa, who works in the office went above and beyond her job to make sure we all stayed calm and knew that they were there for us. Their wait staff actually slept there overnight because they couldn't get home.
Thirdly, the food was unbelievably delicious. All our guests were commenting on their meals, including the hor dourves.
Lastly, the room looked amazing. I love the Aqua Turf and recommend it highly. (By the way, My husband and I got married there over 26 years ago too! It was perfect then too)

Growing up in Bristol, my husband and I had all of our proms at the Aqua Turf. This made us very reluctant to even look there for our wedding. However, we took a chance and went to look at the different rooms they had to offer and fell in love with the Wagon Room. We booked the site for our reception and would not change a thing about the day! We worked with Karen from the Aqua Turf and already miss her! She helped to make our day everything we wanted it to be. She accomodated us in every way she could and was always going above and beyond making sure no one in our family was doing anything other than having fun during our night! To this day, our guests are still raving about how delicious the food was and how amazed they were when seconds came around and when the bar stayed open all night. Our immediate family continues to rave about how wonderful Karen was to them as well as to us that night. Our bridal party worked with Lori and also rave about how amazing she was...always making sure they had a new drink in hand when they were getting low and so much more.

If you are looking for a place to have your reception, the Aqua Turf was so much more than anyone could have imagined and the food was out of this world. Many people who attended our wedding did not even know the Wagon Room existed. But felt the same feeling of comfort and relaxation we felt in there the first time we walked in.

The Aqua Turf Club was a wonderful venue! They were very responsive and easy to get ahold of for questions prior to the wedding. The chapel was clean and beautiful; you get a gorgeous but "blank" canvas to make it your own. Everything went smoothly and the food was great! The space was perfect for the 150 people we had (we were in the Glass Room) and we definitely could have fit more. The dance floor had plenty of space as well! They take care of all the small details without you even knowing and the day of coordinator was very attentive. I still have friends and family commenting on how beautiful and professional Aqua Turf was. It was a great day!

We were initially attracted to the Aqua Turf Club because of their reasonable prices and room ambiance options. We are beyond thrilled that we were able to have our wedding there - the best day of our life became the best wedding almost everyone who attended had ever been to! The food, staff, grounds, venue exceeded our expectations. Weddings are their business but at no point did we feel like "just another wedding". We were treated like we were their only client and the day of we were pampered and catered to as if our wedding was just as important to them as it was tous . We cannot say enough great things about this venue and their employees. Every bride should visit the Aqua Turf Club before making any decisions- if you go with them you will not be sorry!

I cannot say enough good things about the Aqua Turf. We had our wedding there and every detail was perfection. I'm an event coordinator for a living so I'm very particular about how I'd like things done and I had a million little details. From start to finish, Aqua Turf made every part of the wedding process a pure pleasure. I not only never heard the word "no" out of them, but I did things above my expectations. I worked with Melissa during the planning process and she was an absolute joy. She met every one of my requests and if I brought up anything that I was hesitant about or perhaps getting nervous about, she calmed my nerves. Louise, the florist, was fantastic at matching my centerpieces to our bouquets. I couldn't have asked for anything better. The food was phenomenal and the service is the best I have ever seen. Larry and Jamie made the actual night run perfectly. Over and over throughout the night, I was impressed as to how attentive they were and how quickly and seamless they made the night run. I really can't say enough good things. It was worth every last penny and I have no regrets or anything negative to say. It was perfection!

I cannot speak for Aqua Turf as a wedding venue, but I will say GLORIOUS things about them as an off-site caterer. Aqua Turf catered my wedding at the Wadsworth Mansion, and I can honestly say that they (in conjunction with the Wadsworth's incredible staff) were the main reason my wedding was so successful. I will start first by saying that their staff is a freakishly impressive well-oiled machine that does weddings like no one else can. Michael, the head honcho, is incredibly friendly, helpful, communicative, and open to basically any menu ideas you might have. Bobby, their Maitre D', is... what can I say? He's The Regulator. He oversees the whole wedding day process and does pure magic. And the catering staff is helpful, friendly, fast, efficient, and overall, just awesome. We were never without a drink, they brought food and beverages to the whole bridal party during the photo session, and were always making sure we were taken care of (and eating. If you are the bride or the groom, they will make sure that you feed yourself, and will almost go as far as follow you around the room with a steak and a glass of wine to ensure you get a sufficient protein intake). Also, the food was incredible. I had a unique seated stations menu with an Autumn & Thanksgiving theme, and the fare was DELICIOUS. Not your usual forgettable wedding fare. The turkey was moist and juicy. The mashed potato bar was out of this world. Even the salad was fresh and delicious. Finally, their pricing for off-site catering is the best I've found for the value they offer. Run, don't walk. You will not be disappointed.

Having grown up in CT and having attended many events at the ATC in the past, I was against having my wedding there just because it wasn't new for me. Once my fiance saw the venue, however, he convinced me how beauitful it was and that it was a no brainer for our large wedding.

As a bride, I couldn't have dreamed of a venue being easier to work with. Every question I asked was answered quickly and in detail, I got yes's to 99% of my wish list, and since they are so experienced I was able to rely on their knowledge to help me make my decisions. The value of the dinner packages (we did the station style dinner) which include top shelf alcohol made this a NO BRAINER for the 220 guest list we were expecting.

As for my guests, I still haven't stopped getting "amazing", "beauitful", "best venue ever" comments from them on the food, the ballroom (Kay's Pier North) and mostly the Chapel where we held our ceremony.

There isn't a single thing I would have changed, and I have high standards for events and event management.

Aqua Turf Club was the perfect choice for our ceremony and reception. The service was excellent. The food was absolutely delicious. A year later and our guests from the wedding still comment about how good the food at our wedding was. I cannot offer one complaint about our experience with the Aqua Turf. The entire day went off without a hitch.

We had our wedding at the aqua turf on June 30th, 2012 in Kay's Pier South, a Saturday evening. From the moment we got to the venue to the moment we left - we were VERY impressed and extremely pleased with the way the day was run. It was so organized and the staff was SO friendly and helpful - all of our friends and family were very happy from start to finish. Our day was perfect - and I wouldn't change a thing. I highly recommend the aqua turf for any event - they are so professional and they really know how to run the event smoothly which is important since we had 260 guests!

We used the Aqua Turf for our reception (ceremony was at a church) on a summer Saturday evening. I will say I was initially hesitant because this was where my senior high school prom was held as well as school banquets, so I wanted something more "original". However, after meeting with them and going over prices and services, it really was the not only the best value, but also the best accommodations and service as well.

Honestly, everything worked out pretty much perfectly. We were in the Wagon Room, which is gorgeous, and had the contemporary dinner (buffet style with carving stations, pasta stations, etc), and 5 hours of open bar. The food was good (although I wasn't really eating that day due to nerves, sadly) and we had RAVE reviews. People came up to us and told us it was the best wedding they had been to (and these are people who haven't been shy to tell us negative opinions in the past) Close friends in the midst of wedding planning had asked (for informational purposes) if they could inquire about prices and they were shocked to learn that everything was $88/person - they would have guessed it was well over $100 based on quality, quantity, and overall atmosphere.

Our wedding was about 165 people and on a Saturday evening. We wanted to make sure that our wedding wasn't too formal or stuffy, but still classy and elegant and the Aqua Turf brought us this. We got comments about how classy, elegant, yet laid back, fun and relaxed everything was - which was exactly what we wanted.

the Maitre d' brought me and my husband food and drinks throughout the evening to make sure we were taken care of.

I was hesitant at first, but would do it all over again here in a second.

Sorry for the long review, but I really can't say enough good things.

Wonderful! This is the place to have your wedding and reception. Karen went out of her way to help me make this a successful and memorable day. Worth every single penny. Guests have been raving about the great night they had ever since. I can't say enough about this vendor.

I love the Aqua Turf! They are so professional there and everything about this venue is amazing! The grounds are absolutely beautiful! We had a wonderful maitre'd who made everything go so smoothly there! We got married in the chapel on the grounds and it was so nice! Also, all of the guest were saying how great the food was and everyone was so impressed with the Viennesse table! The spread is amazing and absolutely delicious!

I booked the Aqua Turf Club nearly a year in advance for my April 2011 wedding. It was a pleasure to work with them throughout the process. We worked with Michael Aberg for a year and he was very responsive and organized with all of our details. We used both rooms in Kays Pier and the Wagon Room. The whole day went smoothly and I cannot thank Michael and the rest of the staff at ATC for the time and energy they put into making the whole day a success. Even at the end of the night, the staff came up to me and made sure I had eaten dinner and they brought me out a plate. We received many compliments from our guests on their staff and their food. I would highly recommend the venue to anyone. The ATC does a fantastic job of keeping their facility and grounds in pristine condition, and has excellent service all around.

There's one word that can sum up our wedding day at The Aqua Turf Club and that would be perfect. Leading up to the wedding they were so professional and easy to work with. We worked with Michael to plan everything and any question I had I could call or email him and he would respond promptly with an answer and if he didn't have the answer then he would find it out and get back to me. Our rehersal and meeting them beforehand to give them favors, deco, etc was quick and easy. On the day of the wedding Donnie was the one who took care us that day and he was wonderful! We had everything we needed and he made sure that everything went smoothly and just how we wanted it! People were telling us that it was a perfect wedding and one of the best they've been to!

Words cannot explain how happy we were with our experience at the Aqua Turf. They were very organized and made us feel truly special. Kays Pier North is beautiful and overlooks the fountain - everything looked beautiful. We had an exceptional wedding thanks to the Aqua Turf!!

Our wedding at the Aqua Turf was exceptional. There was never a stressful moment at all when planning because the staff is so experienced and nothing seems to bother them. I cannot even tell you how many guests kept saying over and over, "This is the best wedding we have ever attended." The service was fantastic, as was the food. Everything went off without a hitch.

I was so happy I chose to have my wedding at the Aqua Turf! The grounds are absolutely beautiful and the chapel was a great site for our ceremony. The staff was very helpful during the planning process and did a great job organizing our day! And everything is included: open bar, great food, and centerpieces! Great! Great food, beautiful grounds, and great rustic chapel! They treated me like a princess, and as nice and high class as the place seems, they were the least expensive, especially when you include the top shelf open bar.

I feel like I sell the Aqua Turf anytime I talk about it! Their staff knows their job so well that everything goes as smooth as can be. Food is fantastic, service, grounds, chapel, planning all more than I could have imagined. You get so much for the price you pay.

I have nothing but good things to say about Aquaturf catering and neither have my guests. In fact my most common feedback from my quests was about how awesome the caterers were. Beyond just great food their staff was SO attentive and kind. They really took care of everything, and I feel they definitely made our event so nice. So detail oriented. Right down to handing my husband a glass of brut and myself a glass of spumante for our toast so we could each have our favorite!

The place was beautiful and the staff was awesome. The food was great and they came around and were giving out 2nds. It ran very smoothly with us not having to do or worry about anything.

This is one of the best places to hold a wedding in CT! The food is amazing, the service is fantastic, and everyone was so easy to work with. We toured a lot of different venues, and this was the only one that seemed like "home" for our wedding. They have 4 different rooms to fit your taste, and a lot of different menu options for every budget. The book quickly, so make sure you call in advance!

They were on top of everything for all 150 guests! From water, wine & champagne before the start of the ceremony to making sure everyone else stayed on schedule (including my husband & I so that we could actually eat at our own wedding!), they were great from start to finish. At the end of the day, they even wrapped up the leftover cake, venetian table goodies and meals for no-show guests (there are always a few that don't show). The service was wonderful, the food was fantastic... couldn't ask for anything better! Everything was done with style and class like nowhere I've seen before! Great choice! They book fast, so contact them soon for a tour and you'll see what I mean!! (Keep in mind even with the high cost, this was with many additions that are offered, and is not the basic price for this venue. They are not as expensive as many people think, so go check it out and get a menu so you can build your own perfect wedding from meal choices to appetizers!)

Great venue. I had a awesome time. lots of food and the staff was very responsive and took good care of myself and all the guests. I couldn't have asked for a better day. Even when it rained they had umbrellas ready for anyone. i definitely recomment the aqua turf to anyone that would like to have a smooth and easy fun wedding.

The Aquaturf did a wonderful job! They coordinated everything!!--the DJ, cake cutting, first dance, etc! The presentation of the meals was beautiful as well! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

People are still raving about the food and the portions! Hot hors d'oeuvres were amazing (at least 20 choices brought out!) Reasonable cost, comparatively to other venues. Great atmosphere, beautiful grounds.

Absolutely perfect! Nothing but the best services and nothing but compliments for them. My guests have stated "it was the best wedding they have ever attended". They went out of the way to make sure we were happy and had everything just right. Even when our limo bus driver disappeared for 1/2 an hour they were on top of it finding him so that my mother could enjoy the wedding and reception. FANTASTIC!!!The food keeps getting compliments weeks after the wedding!

The Aqua Turf was excellent in providing me great feedback and keeping me informed about everything that needed to be done and brought to their attention. They even added in hanging baskets for the covered bridge for my wedding, even though there was a possible frost for the night before! Wonderful people, wonderful food, and we all had a wonderful time!

I don't really have much bad to say about the Aqua Turf. They were extremely accomodating. I made my own centerpieces which needed to be filled with water and set up and they were done perfectly by the Aqua Turf employees. The food was perfect and I Still get complements on their service over a year later. They did have 3 other weddings going on at the same time, but I Did not find that it interrupted or disturbed my wedding at all.

I couldn't be happier with the staff at The Aqua Turf Club. From the very beginning of my planning, they were very helpful in making my day everything I wanted it to be. Alyssa was so easy to work with and made sure that every detail of the night was planned out. The food was absolutely amazing and my guests are still talking about it. Our maitre'd was amazing and checked in with us throughout the night and kept us informed and on track. Our reception was in the Wagon Room and I would recommend this room to anyone. It's like a hidden gem at such a well-known venue. From the spacious dance floor to the lounge area and the huge bar, it made for an amazing reception space. The florist on site also did an incredible with our centerpieces. I high recommend this venue!

I had my wedding last month at the Aqua Turf Club and it was amazing. Everyone who worked there was so nice and very helpful to me and my guest. They had everything ready for when we showed up and everything was decorated just how we wanted. The food was so good and they even offered 2nd for the prime rib which the pieces were almost bigger then the plates. I would recommend this venue to everyone as it was amazing for us. The only thing that I wasn't sure happy with was that the planner we had for the Aqua Turf made it clear that she never misses a clients wedding and it makes her feel complete and how she would have been there and wouldn't miss and she never showed up to see how things worked out.

This was a great venue. All the guests raved about the food. The food was VERY good and good portions. The cost was very reasonable. Beautiful grounds. Had the ceremony at the chapel on the grounds. That was convenient. The staff was extremely helpful. They did a great job at making my wedding run very smoothly.

Our wedding at the Aqua Turf was beautiful and I wouldn't have changed anything. The food was excellent and it was high in quality AND quantity. Our guests were amazed when they brought out seconds for everyone. Debbie was our go to girl, and she was so helpful in every way.

That being said, a few snags were the Venetian Table and the florist at the Aqua Turf. The Venetian table is simply amazing and delicious but they don't ask you what type of flowers to put on the table. The flowers that were picked were corny, and did not go with the theme/colors of my wedding. They also ask you to "open" the dessert table which ends up being extremely awkward. We did not know this was coming and we had no idea what to do, and frankly, it was a bit cheesy. I would not ask the couples to open the table, just open it. Plus, the whole sparklers display is plain awful. I wish they would have told us about that because I would have preferred they didn't do anything like that.

Next, is the florist. She hung up on my mom twice and when my mom finally got ahold of her she said, "What do you want?" very rudely. She was extremely rude to myself and my mother, and very hard to get ahold of. We ended up going with a different florist who was amazing. The florist at the Aqua Turf, for some reason, placed flowers (without my knowledge) in the napkins at my wedding; without my consent. Why would you do that? The flowers were purple and DID NOT go with the entire theme of my wedding. By the time I saw them the guests were already arriving and it was too late to take them out.

Great food, great people, just be specific about certain things.
