Beautiful Venue

Ashley was wonderful to work with. Before the wedding, she helped answer all of our concerns and even went above and beyond to reach out to our vendors for us and coordinate with them a schedule for our big day.

It also goes without saying but Apple Hill Farm is such a scenic location. The ceremony location overlooking rolling hills of lush greenery and raised stone podium behind ornate steel gates make it look like a scene straight out of a fairy tale. That and the cozy rustic reception area perfect for dancing and letting loose certainly influenced our choice to pick this venue.

Unfortunately day of the wedding, Henri hit and we were not able to have our ceremony outdoors. Ashely and her team were able to coordinate around the unexpected weather and transform the reception area into a cosy ceremony location that made all the guests feel welcome. They were then able to efficiently transform the reception area back while all the guests were at our cocktail hour. We were kept aware of all plans throughout the whole wedding and felt assured that the day would go perfectly even with unexpected weather.

All of our guests were also raving about the food choices provided by Apple Hill Farm. Both the Apple Hill Farm Signature Chicken and Prime Rib were wonderful and not your typical "bland wedding food". Apple Hill Farm was also able to accommodate our vegetarian guests with a scrumptious meal that did not make them feel left out.

If you are looking for a place to host your wedding, we would highly recommend this place. We chose this place for our wedding and could not have been happier.

The best around!

I cannot say enough good things about Apple Hill. Ashley and Sharon are amazing people to work with. Ashley is extremely responsive and organized when it comes to planning. You can tell she has been in this line of work because she knows exactly what you need. From our tour, to covid striking and putting a hold on plans, to finally having our day, Apple Hill made our day run so smoothly. I’m not sure that anyone could have a day run smoother. Our head server Val was AMAZING and always made sure that we had a drink, food, that we ate enough, and that we took time to enjoy ourselves and to take it all in. The grounds are perfect for photos, the library bar is beautiful, the ballroom is massive, the food is delicious, and the people are too kind. Any event here would be perfect. Do yourself a favor and give them your business. They are amazing people who have created a beautiful place.

The most perfect wedding venue!

I saw a friend post some pictures of her visit to Apple Hill and I immediately looked up their website and made an appointment to view the place for our wedding. The photos I saw had beautiful views outside and in, and it gave off the rustic feeling we were looking for. We went to the venue and got the tour and we fell in love with the whole venue right away. We knew right away that this was our place to get married in! The outdoor ceremony site is breathtaking with picturesque views. Inside the venue has a ton of space and lots of rooms that are beautifully decorated in tea lights, tree branches, and suits of armor! The staff was so incredibly accommodating, we barely had to do anything! The wedding coordinator, Laura was so helpful and so very nice! I used to work in bridal and heard stories of how hard wedding planning is, and I honestly don't know what was so hard because Laura and the rest of the staff handled everything! The food was delicious and easily accommodated vegetarian/vegan/food allergy needs. All of our guests raved (and still are after one month!) how the food and venue were perfect and we cannot agree more! I will be recommending this venue to get married in to everyone if they want a place that is beautiful, affordable, and stress-free!

Country elegance!

Everything about Apple Hill Farm is just lovely. The location is beautiful, the food is amazing and the staff is professional and personable. Laura was organized, understanding and comforting when this Mother of the bride was feeling stressed. I loved how Laura and Valerie were very attentive to not only the bride and groom, but the parents of the bride and groom. We were thrilled with every part of the day. We have received many compliments on Apple HIll being an outstanding venue. People raved about the food and loved the country elegance. Apple Hill Farm gave us a beautiful, magical day!

Amazing Experience from start to finish

Apple Hill by far is the best choice for a wedding/event venue. I had my wedding there the end of September and things could not have gone smoother. Laura and her team made sure the day ran smoothly. They were always there to help in anyway we needed both in the planning stages with her amazing suggestions for venders to the day of. They had the perfect balance of being there when you needed but allowing us to have our space the day of to enjoy ourselves. The ceremony space outside was a beautiful setting overlooking the fruit trees with Wachusetts Mountain in the background. It made for some amazing photos. The reception space was amazing as well with the fireplace and wooden panelling. The food was delicious from the appetizers to the main course. All of my guests raved about the venues atmosphere, food and service. Everyone was supportive and nice. Without Laura and her team at Apple Hill Farm I do not believe either me or my husband could have planned the amazing wedding that we did in such a short time frame and not be stressed. I highly recommend them for your special day.

The only wedding venue you need

What a beautiful venue. All our guests loved the place. It is so picturesque. The wedding coordinators were also so very nice and accommodating to work with. I wouldn't of imagined a better place to get married. They made my wedding everything I ever wanted.

Perfect, incredible experience! Would not change a thing!

Wow, I am not even sure where to start with our review of Apple Hill Farm! Absolutely everything was incredible!

We knew we wanted a country wedding, and fell in love with the look and feel of the venue over pictures alone. When we actually got to see the venue, we were absolutely blown away! Even the most beautiful pictures still don’t seem to do justice for how gorgeous and well-cared for location it is. The whole place just has a magical feeling to it - the barn, lawn and ceremony area, and the incredible view of the rolling hills. The inside is just as beautiful - the rustic charm carried over nicely to the bar, porch, and ballroom. We made contact with Ashley and she was so lovely. She was there to quickly respond to all our emails and give helpful friendly advice for everything. Ashley worked very closely with the vendors they recommend (bakery, florist) and the other vendors we had chosen (photographer, DJ). Both ways, the co-ordination they have with their staff and vendors is amazing. It was an incredible feeling to know that we could relax and enjoy our day knowing everything was going smoothly and our guests were all enjoying themselves. We never had to keep track of time, Ashley was there making sure everything was running smoothly and on time.

We highly recommend Apple Hill Farm, Ashley and her family, and all the staff! From the start they worked with us to accommodate each of our wants and needs. Everything felt so personal and dedicated to us, devoted to making our day as incredible as it could be. They worked with us to create something that fit into our budget, giving us multiple options and never pressured into something we felt uncomfortable with.

What makes Apple Hill such an incredible place is how personal everything is. From the moment we first made contact with Ashley, through to leaving after the wedding, everything was a joy. The venue is stunning and so incredibly peaceful! We truly experienced a fairy-tale wedding!

Thank you Ashley and all the friendly personnel at Apple Hill; you made our day the most special day of our lives.

Such a beautiful and well coordinated venue!

Such a beautiful place to get married!

Got married here this past August and I cannot give enough praise to the entire staff that helped to make the day go so well. Not only is it a reasonably priced wedding venue, but the staff made the day so stress free and helped me to focus on having a great time! Pictures came out beautiful and the event coordinator, wait staff, and bartender were a delight. If you want a beautiful outdoor wedding with a great indoor reception venue, definitely look into getting married here!

Couldn't have had our wedding at a better place!

We are so happy that we had our wedding here! The staff was very attentive, the food is delicious (not at all typical bland wedding food!), and the scenery outside beautiful. We loved the rustic and elegant style. The event coordinators were very helpful and accommodating to our needs. We would absolutely recommend it here!

Amazing Ceremony Site, Great Value

We fell in love with Apple Hill at first glance - the property is stunning and such an amazing place for an outdoor ceremony in the Fall (or any time of year!) Every step of the way they were incredibly responsive, remembering every little thing we mentioned even from our initial visit almost 2 years before our Wedding. Laura was always very responsive and her expertise was appreciated. Our guests were highly complimentary of the food and the dessert (a seasonal bread pudding). For us, Apple Hill Was the perfect place for our Wedding because we could be married outdoors and still have a ballroom for our reception. I am so glad that we choose Apple Hill and highly recommend them to others looking for a jaw dropping ceremony sit with delicious food for an amazing value!

Truly a incredible experience

This place is the hidden gem in Leominster my wife and I got married there 8 yrs ago before the addition of all the new improvements and it was truly a wonderful experience but now as they have added so much more to the venue you can’t put it in words

We have been going to the library bar to eat since we got married and the staff and everyone rembembers you

My step daughter just recently got married there and not only have they kept there high standards but increased them
Their level of attention to every detail is incredible .

You will not be disappointed by choosing apple hill for a wedding or any other
Important life changing event

And the the service in the library bar for a dinner is unbelievable better than any other place I have been to .

You not just some one there to dine but it seems they treat you like family

Apple Hill

Nothing but good things to say about the team at Apple Hill Farm and Country Club! From the very start, my husband and I fell in love with the venue and the people who work there. Right before my ceremony, there was a 5 minute rain storm that passed (thanks to Hurricane Michael). Laura and team kept all my guests out of the rain, made sure the chairs were wiped down, and the show went on (without me even knowing there was a rain shower!). The food was excellent and everything came out quick and on time. Laura was wonderful and very professional - she dropped everything at the end of the night to help figure out the late coach bus driver. Again, only good things to say! Thanks for making my wedding dream come true :) #tworedheadswed

Perfect fall wedding

My husband and I got married on October 7th, 2018 at Apple Hill Farm. We researched and visited so many venues but when we visited AHF, we both knew it was the right place from the moment we stepped out of the car. Our ceremony was outdoors and the views were absolutely gorgeous. The reception was in the ballroom which was beautiful as well. All of the staff was absolutely wonderful to work with. Laura and Ashley were extremely helpful and dedicated to making our wedding everything we dreamt of. One of our wishes was to have fireworks at our wedding. Sharon, Laura and the staff went above and beyond to make sure this was possible. The staff truly made wedding planning a much easier process for us. During (and after) the wedding, our guests had so many compliments about the venue, food, and staff. Even weeks after the wedding, we are still receiving so many compliments about AHF. This venue is absolutely amazing and helped make our dream wedding come true. My husband and I continue to talk about how our big day at AHF was absolutely perfect. I highly recommend this venue!

Fall 2017 Wedding Review

We heard of AHF from my husband's parents and they said we should check it out because it was everything we were looking for in a venue and we would not be disappointed. And my in-laws were right! From my first contact to our wedding day ( and beyond) the staff at Apple Hill Farm were more than helpful. From the moment my husband and I stepped foot on the property, we fell in love with the venue. The view was absolutely breathe taking and for our September 2017 wedding the leaves would start changing and it would be more than beautiful. The food was absolutely delicious! I had guests with different dietary restrictions and they were able to accommodate. The staff were quick in responding to emails which definitely helped when it came to the last minute details in the weeks leading to the wedding. Our wedding day was truly one to remember and we thank the entire staff of AHF for all their help!

Spectacular day!

Our experience with Apple Hill Farm was nothing short of perfect. Our party was small, only 22 guests, but we were graciously welcomed by our event planner, Laura, and Chef/Owner Sharon, who went our of their way to provide us with all we wanted. The Conservatory was the perfect size for us, and was elegant and beautiful. All the guests felt the food was exceptional, and Laura and our waitstaff were attentive until the last moment. They truly made the planning and the day effortless. Great choice!

Beautiful - Family Feel - Food Allergy Friendly

Apple Hill was amazing. They really took the time to listen to what we wanted to do and how we wanted things to look/feel. They were extremely flexible in figuring out what would be best for our day. The venue is spacious but at no point did everyone feel too spread out.

The food was amazing and they have vast gluten free options and are extremely knowledgeable and accommodating to food allergies. This was a big plus for us.

They were so kind and understanding in every interaction, which made the wedding planning process easy and less stressful.

An added plus is the venue is beautiful!!!!!

Wedding September 23,2017

I absolutely loved apple hill farm!!! I knew I wanted this style for my wedding and when we first visited I absolutely loved everything about it! The ceremony setting is so gorgeous with the trees and the sunset it just adds to the spot! I completely loved the look of everything and the way they set up our decorations is just how I pictured it! The food was amazing and you are able to custom your meals how you want which we added the home made chips with blue cheese (they are my favorite and I highly recommend them )! The coordinators ashley and Laura were extremely helpful and they made everything feel not as stressful as I thought it would be. It is also in my hometown which I thought was incredible because I never thought I'd find exactly what I was looking for so close to home!

Everything we wanted and more

When my now husband and I were searching for a venue for our reception, we had called and been to several places but couldn't both agree on one. When we visited Apple Hill Farm, we both knew this was the place!

It has the prefect combination of elegance and rustic New England charm. It was wonderful to to be able to share that for our out of town and out of the country guests. Even though it was a cool drizzly spring day, we were able to take beautiful photos without getting our dresses and shoes muddy. Once we decided on Apple Hill, the second toughest part was deciding the menu because everything was so good!

The staff was great and they were easy to work with for our food allergy and mobility requests. The bartender was amazing.

We really couldn't have asked for anything more for our reception!

Apple Hill really *is* the Best Ever. I work as a circus performer and I wanted to bring lots of fun, circus energy to my wedding. They were so accommodating about my crazy circus ideas! They really allowed me to shape the event in ways that made our wedding *feel* like it was under the big top.

Our guests raved about the amazing food, even days and weeks afterward. Farm-to-table from Apple Hill will always be the best choice! Also, your vegetarian guests will love you for choosing Apple Hill.

We could not have picked a better place to host our big day! The venue is absolutely beautiful, with rolling hills and all of the fruit orchards. We had our ceremony outside, but they have great indoor options if weather becomes a factor. The reception hall was perfectly decorated, and the food was top notch. We can’t say enough about our coordinator, Laura. Every time I had a question or a concern Laura was there to answer it and help us out. She was tremendous, as is every member of the staff. I HIGHLY recommend Apple Hill Farm, and can't wait to go back for our anniversary dinner!

I highly recommend this venue for weddings :-) When we first visited Apple Hill Farm, my (now) husband and I fell in love pretty quick with its rolling hills, lovely fruit orchards and beautiful indoor reception venue (no need to worry about the weather on the big day!). We were especially sold after meeting with our great coordinator Laura, and seeing that there were no hidden fees which had been a recurring issue with other venues. Leading up to the big day, Laura was always helpful and responsive and our guests had such an amazing time — great farm-to-table food, dancing space, an epic sunset right outside the ballroom doors. We’re really looking forward to our one year anniversary dinner at the Library Bar too, another perk of having our wedding at Apple Hill :-)

This is a wonderful place to get married. All the staff, especially Laura, were wonderful and easy to work with. The setting is beautiful, the food was great and I have lots of great memories of my wedding day. I highly recommend this venue.

We recently co-hosted my son's and daughter'-in-law's wedding reception at Apple Hill Farm. The planning and delivery was top notch! We would not have changed anything with the way Ashley and team were so very responsive to us in the planning and the actual delivery on their wedding day was exceptional. In addition, the setting itself had multiple areas to use including the ballroom, the parlor, the bar, and two outside porches. Our guests moved between each of the settings and it created a unique experience in each setting along with the ballroom where the band was playing. I was told by a wedding planner years ago to always look for a reception location that provides a variety of experiences for your guests and Apple Hill Farm fully delivers on that concept. Truly exceptional!

Kevin and I just had our wedding at Apple Hill almost a year ago (9/19/15 ❤️) and we could not have been happier. Ashley, Amy, and the whole staff were super amazing to us and our loved ones during our special day as well as all the days before planning and visiting (they were extremely patient and overall great with all the personal details we wanted to include). Everyone commented on how beautiful it was (indoors and outdoors), how everything was just perfect, and overall said it was one of the best weddings they attended. Apple Hill's Library Bar restaurant is also awesome and we highly recommend going there for dinner sometime. Although they do not offer a tasting, they were super accomdating when we scheduled a reservation with some of our bridal party and brought out a sample platter with all the appetizers available in the wedding packages for us to try (even when some were not on the Library Bar menu itself). Their wedding package also includes a generous 1st year Anniversary Dinner (we just had ours tonight and the food was absolutely amazing) which I found unique when searching for venues. I can't say enough things about Ashley and her team at Apple Hill Farm. Throughout my whole wedding planning process AHF was extremely responsive and answered all my questions big and small. Down to the last minute details, AHF was so easy to work with and accommodating. The wait staff during our day was stellar, including our personal server who was always nearby when we needed him. I would highly recommend this venue and renting out the entire facility. Apart from the service, the food is delicious and the views are spectacular. We made the perfect choice for our wedding.

The experience my husband and I had on our wedding day at Apple Hill Farm was absolutely amazing! It had everything we wanted for our special day. It's a beautiful place to get married with the view and decorations they had set up. The staff was all wonderful and took care of everything. It was perfect!

We wanted a classic fall wedding with great food and a warm New England feel. Apple Hill Farm hit the mark on everything. I still have people raving about the food that was served, the staff was warm and professional, and the room was both elegant and comfortable. The event coordinators were on top of everything leading up to the day. I loved how they only have one wedding a day, made it a more personalized experience.

My husband and I got married here in May 2015 and we were so pleased with everything! The grounds are absolutely gorgeous and the reception space is very classic and elegant. We were married on a Sunday (of Memorial Day weekend), which I HIGHLY recommend as their restaurant is closed so we were able to use the entire facility without having to share it with the public. The food was delicious and the staff was extremely organized and helpful. Ashley was wonderful to work with and put us at ease during the planning process. My husband and I had an amazing wedding day and we wouldn't have changed a thing!

We were beyond thrilled with our choice to have our wedding reception at Apple Hill Farm. My now-husband and I had a wonderful wedding day. And nothing went wrong, that we know of at least! The Apple Hill staff was always very accommodating and flexible. They responded with great detail and care to our many emails with questions. From providing the bride and groom with our own server and serving the food hot to all of our nearly 200 guests, to allowing us to bring in any and all decorations of our choice, they were outstanding. We only have amazing things to say about them. We wish we could relive the day!

I cannot say enough positive things about Apple Hill Farm & CC. After our old venue (Wachusett Village Inn) decided to shut it's doors unexpectedly after having booked with them for a year, we only had 8 months to try and find a venue who had availability for our popular June 25th wedding date, as our save the dates had already gone out. AHF was one of the only places that had availability and my fiance and I immediately drove up from CT for a tour. We were hesitant as to why our date was available, but as soon as we drove up the gorgeous hill and saw AHF, we knew it was truly meant to be! Amy, our wedding coordinator there, was SO accommodating from day 1 and I cannot thank her enough for putting me at ease during a difficult time for any bride having to re-plan an entire wedding. The owners sympathized with us and worked with us to customize our event to work within our budget. The wedding night went off without a hitch and everyone at AHF worked tirelessly to ensure our entire wedding party and all of our guests were taken care of--I've never seen service so genuine and pleasant. All of our guests claimed that it was the best wedding they had ever been to and raved about the food, the service and especially the dancing! The venue itself is stunning from the rustic outdoor grounds to the elegant ballroom inside. It truly is a hidden gem, and I honestly believe the closing of our old venue was meant to be, to lead us to Apple Hill Farm for our amazing wedding day! Thank you to Sharon, Ashley, the entire staff at AHF and especially Amy for your wonderful hospitality. I wish we could do it all again!

A true hidden gem. My husband and I chose this venue because of the convenient location in Central MA and the perfect balance of rustic and classy romance! Ashley and the rest of the staff at Apple Hill were professional, organized, detailed, and so great to work with! From the hilltop view in the apple orchard, to the amazing staff, wonderful food, and gorgeous library bar and ballroom you will not be sorry! I am so happy we chose to have our wedding here and look forward to visiting on our first anniversary!

Apple Hill Farm is a charming farm, on a hill (great views!!) in the middle of Leominster, MA, that almost no one knows about. We found this place randomly driving down streets near our house. The food is the best you'll find around (most of it right from the farm), and it is family owned and operated. Ashley (part owner) and Amy (head bartender) helped coordinate the wedding, they were so helpful especially with alleviating stress as the big day got closer. The staff is also amazing and friendly. We've been there for regular dinners, also had our rehearsal dinner there, and the staff go above and beyond to make you comfortable and make the dinner enjoyable. They provide wedding packages, which are totally customizable. They work with other local vendors often, and the ones we used had nothing but good things to say about Apple Hill. Everything on our special day went off without a hitch! We've received so many compliments from our guests, from the food, to the great venue, the amazing views - it will wow your guests as well! If you're looking for a place to hold a reception and ceremony that won't break the bank, and still be a great experience with the best food ever, definitely consider Apple Hill Farm to be at the top of your list! In short - amazing - check it out for yourself!!

My husband and I chose to look at Apple Hill Farm because it has family history for me. Working with Ashley, Kerri and Sharon made planning our wedding stress free. It was so easy for me to make adjustments to one of the packages so it would fit what we wanted. All three of them were extremely prompt and responsive to any questions or emails. It rained all day before my wedding and when you choose to go look at Apple Hill Farm you will see why I would be disappointed if I could not get married outside. Luckily the sun came out just before we got married! On the ceremony site you would have never even known it rained they dried everything off, even the grass! My pictures are absolutely stunning with all of the beautiful scenery. All of my guests were so pleased with the food and atmosphere. It was truly one of the best days of our lives :)

Apple Hill Farm was seriously AMAZING. Everything about this place is fanstastic. If you want to pull off a "country chic" wedding, this is the place to do it. The new ballroom they built in the fall of 2012 is stunning. Carrie, the event coordinator, is phenomenal. She is on top of everything and makes sure everything happens the way you want it to. I would highly recommend this place!

My Husband and I just had a unique Kentucky Derby Wedding at Apple hill. This place is stunning- you feel like your in the middle of Vermont. My guests fell in love with this Venue. The ballroom is relatively new- Hidden Gem. Check it out its booking up fast, you wont be disappointed I promise. The wedding Coordinator, Kerri is extremely helpful- She kept me calm through the whole planning process. Highly Recommended!

My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Laura and the staff at Apple Hill for our wedding on August 4, 2018. Laura handled everything down to the very last detail and did not skip a beat! Every question was answered timely and we never felt out of the loop with planning! And I would be remiss if I did not mention the gorgeous landscape that this family owned business clearly take so much pride in maintaining not only for the amazing photos it provides but for the farm to table concept. The food was top notch and we received many compliments from our guests. If you are looking for a venue with outstanding views and food that warms your soul like going home for Sunday dinner then look no further this hidden gem is it!

I have to say that I am not one for small details, as most men are when it comes to the wedding, but Apple Hill made sure that every little detail was covered for us. They handled EVERYTHING!. My wife and I basically dropped everything off at the venue and they set it all up. They were also very accomindating. My wife and I had been there for dinner and we love the home made ships, we were able to mix and match our wedding package to make sure the chips were served (note- NEVER pass on the chips). The food was excellent! We hade steak and chicken and it was all cooked to perfection. The venue provided a personal server to my wife and I that tended to all our needs. She made sure we ate, took all the cards and out personal belongings and locked them up. At the end of the night they were all in a bag ready for us to go. I would recommend going there for any event, especially a wedding. I will be back for a vow renewal ceremony...five year maybe??? Apple Hill is clearly a cut above the rest!

Apple Hill Farm & Country Club is a beautiful place to get married!! The outdoor ceremony site was seasonally decorated and overlooks the apple orchard...perfect for a fall wedding! Everyone at Apple Hill is wonderful to work with and always so helpful; Ashley and Amy helped to relieve my stress in the days leading up to the wedding because they made sure that everything was done exactly how I wanted it. Both were so receptive to our ideas and willing to accommodate. When my husband and I saw the reception site, we were both so happy. The staff did an amazing job with everything; every little detail that I had requested and described was perfectly executed! The food is delicious; most of our guests told us that it was easily the best wedding food they had ever had! Our wedding at Apple Hill Farm turned out beautiful, and I do not regret selecting it as our venue. Ashley, the owner, was very helpful and quickly answered any questions that I had. When we originally booked this venue, Kerri was supposed to be the one who assisted us in the event coordinating. She ended up going on maternity leave a few months before our wedding and Amy took over. I did not find her to be particularly helpful. She was nice, but I think her inexperience with coordinating weddings showed. There were a few miscommunications that caused some frustration on my end as well as on the end of another of my vendors. Besides that, she was fine. I think if you were to pick one of their packages and not change anything on it, you wouldn't experience any problems. On our wedding day, our server Karen was AWESOME. She really went out of her way to make sure that my husband and I had everything we needed and she was super kind and funny. This place really is a hidden gem and the views are UNBELIEVABLE. The scenery was what really made me fall in love with Apple Hill Farm, it is truly breath taking. The food on our wedding day was also delicious, hot and was presented well. All in all, I would recommend this venue to a friend.

The location is absolutely gorgeous.
The coordinators seem to have their set way of doing things, they are friendly but it may take a couple explanations to get the point across or have things customized (and it still may not happen)
The servers and coordinator were so helpful the day of the ceremony. It was really appreciated and great that they paid so much attention to detail while everything was going on.

Stats about the wedding:
-Late October wedding
-Had the ceremony onsite (there is an additional cost for this)
-~100 guests including vendors
-Picked the first package and added wine service (a bottle of red and a bottle of white for each table)

The small things that could have been changed:
-Centerpieces (candle placement etc) were not arranged the same way as the picture we had provided. Not a big deal
-The entire cake was to be stationed since there were 3 flavors. Nothing was to be saved for the bride/groom to take home. At the end of the night we noticed that the top layer had been saved, only the second layer had been used and some of the bottom layer. It had been served to the guests so they couldn't pick a flavor and slices were way too small. The cake was supposed to feed 100 people and with the way they cut it it probably could have served another 100
-Allegedly they wouldn't serve shots to the mother of the bride
-The Parmesan encrusted chicken that was served was different from what we had been served in the restaurant/library at other times. Still good but not as good as the restaurant
-Pumpkins on the truck out front were rotting

Update: After going to a second wedding here the cake was served when it wasn't supposed to be and were still very small pieces (even after the bridal party had complained weeks before). The food was cold when it was served and very dry.
Final verdict: This is a great venue for a ceremony but maybe not for receptions. The food seems to be hit or miss.
