Best out there

If I could give more than 5 stars. I absoutely would. I booked Applause for my December 2019 wedding at Haue Valley and am so thankful that I did. From the open house where I met them to recieving our video footage after the wedding there was never a delay in communication or annoyance at my 1000 questions or silly requests. Heck they even responded when they were on a family vacation letting me know that they were away but would look at their system and answer my question as soon as they got back on Monday so I wasn't left hanging wondering when they were going to respond. The day of our wedding there was a huge snow storm. My guests were cancelling left and right as the highway and other roads shut down. They sent me a text first thing that morning letting me know that no matter what they would be there... and they were! And they were there way ahead of schedule. They helped with the timeline, questions I had throughout the day, getting the most gorgeous shots, recommending some places to my photographer and even surprising my groom with a mini mosh pit during our reception. Applause Wedding are the people you want to book for your special day. They will make sure not a moment is missed. We booked them for Photobooth, DJ, Cermeony sound, and videographer and I highly recommend them to anyone and everyone. They called me a few times during the planning process and again a few days before the wedding to confirm there were no changes and went over the timeline. Everything went exactly to plan. The cermeony music, mic for our officiant and everything went on with no issues! We booked the photobooth option and it was the hit of the night. Our guest took home a print out of their photo AND they were all uploaded to Facebook that same night so they could share and tag themselves. Speaking of same night... my wedding was December 15th. I had the sneak peak of my wedding footage at midnight that night!! Within just a few hours of my wedding being over they uploaded a sneak peak that my family and friends that missed the wedding were able to enjoy! I am a huge Harry Potter nerd and was super excited to see that they had a "Dealthly Hallows" monogram for lighting. I was able to add a bit of one of my favorite things into the wedding because of this!
The reception dances, music, dj everything was smooth and the dance floor was almost never empty. It's important to have such a great DJ who can control a group and keep everything running smoothly and Garrett did amazing. After the wedding was over, they kept me up to date with when they were working on the final video and what day I would get it and once again... I got it earlier than I expected! The best part is that they give you the ENTIRE footage of your day on top of the highlight film. They keep the camera rolling all night (ceremony, reception, dances) and give you ALL the footage. There are so many things that I missed that night that I was able to see for myself and share with my guests that couldn't be there. I am so glad that we had Applause. They never let us down a single time and always kept me calm (which was hard when people kept cancelling haha). Abby, Garrett, Amanda and John are FANTASTIC. And if I ever need to use a DJ or Videographer again... I will definitely be calling them and I recommend you give them a call too!!

Amazing Experience with the whole team!

I used Applause for DJ and video services at my wedding at Little Piney Lodge in November 2019. After searching and looking at many DJ and video companies, I found Applause and they were the whole package, making my life so much easier. Booking with Amanda was a breeze. I had a ton of questions and she worked with me to find the package that was best. I used them for our ceremony sound and audio as well and everything turned out great. We didn’t have to worry about anything. Amanda, John and Abby arrived to set-up and immediately started filming. They worked so well with my photographer. Everything felt so natural, you couldn’t even tell they were there. The shots they got were amazing and I can’t say enough about the drone footage. Our video turned out amazing and I’ve gotten so much wonderful feedback from my friends and family. What’s even better is you don’t just get a sneak peak and a highlight video- you get full footage of your ceremony and reception. I LOVED being able to share our highlights with everyone and watch the full ceremony with my husband and family. It was amazing being able to relive those moments. Nothing felt fake or rehearsed. I had a specific timeline I wanted for our reception and Amanda made sure they got everything and more. John was the BEST DJ/EMCEE- I was worried because I’ve been to and in weddings where names are pronounced wrong, people are skipped, and events are missed- I had nothing to worry about. Everything was on queue and the timing was perfect. We made a list of songs that were our ‘must haves’ and songs we liked or that were requested from our guests- and John took it from there. We had a packed dancefloor the entire night which was exactly what we wanted. I am so lucky and thankful to have booked Applause and highly recommend doing so if you’re questioning it.

The most perfect night

We hired Applause for our granddaughter’s wedding Friday 11/1/19. We just viewed the sneak peak video. It is unbelievable. Can’t wait for the full night video. They filmed the wedding and reception. Rooftop of Neo on Locust drone video first look is beautiful. The evening drone shot looking thru 4th floor window showing their up light monogram on the wall is too cool. They provided the fish eye photo booth where 83 pictures were taken that night, enjoyed by many, then posted on FB the next day. The DJ rocked the night. He had everyone dancing the entire night. The event was PERFECT. I give Applause 10 stars. We have two more granddaughters.... we will be back!

Amazing Experience!

The value for what you get is top notch and my guests raved about how great the music was all night.

Best deal ever!

When we started wedding planning, DJ was one of our lowest priorities and we were not thinking we needed a videographer/formal photobooth. Wow was I wrong. Applause helped make our day so incredibly amazing and run so smoothly that I can’t imagine having anyone else for these roles. Their relationship with our venue (Haue Valley) and willingness to lend a helping hand resulted in some fun adventures across the farm! The photobooth was a hit! We also loved that they were able to create a neutral uplighting as it came with our package and we did not like the neon colors (personal preference) but the neutral/gold was perfect! The videos we received were also unbelievable and it has been the perfect way to relive our wedding day whenever we want. Amanda also was able to get them finished up right before I went to visit family that were unable to travel to the wedding so I could watch the videos with them, it was truly special reliving that moment with them! Thank you, Applause, you truly made us feel like part of the family and we are so glad we had you with us on our special day!

Wedding Videography

They did such a fantastic job with the videography. They knew how to make us feel comfortable and the best spots to take it. Directed on what to do, while acting natural. The drone was SO cool and really gave some neat footage! I've recommended them to everyone I could and will continue. I love that they're a family owned business! I hired applause to do fisheye photobooth, videography and DJ services at my wedding in June and it was the best decision I could have made! They are so laid back and make you feel comfortable and don't make you feel like overwhelmed. They made sure we knew exactly what to expect and they made sure the day was going smoothly and we stayed on schedule! They took so much off of our plate and we truly are so grateful for them. We received a recommendation from a friend to call Applause for our wedding media needs. Applause was incredible to work with. They are very reasonably priced for the EXCELLENT quality they provide!! We utilized their DJ, videography, photobooth, and uplighting/monogram services, and each one delivered! The photobooth was a HOOT for everyone (half the Christmas cards we received were photos from the fisheye booth!), the DJ was on point, and the videos we got back quickly after were incredible. We shed a tear every time we watch the highlight reel! Applause was respectful, flexible, responsive, and on top of every detail. I can't thank them enough for what that wonderful team did for us. Where do I start with this company? If I could say one thing about them, I would say, hire them! A true all in one company that is great at everything they do! Amanda and John were there from the start of our wedding day to the end of the night. They had a foot in just about every aspect of our wedding and kept everything on track. I knew with them, we couldn’t go wrong! They’re wonderful to work with and made the process so easy! The uplighting and custom monogram transformed our venue! John absolutely rocked the DJ. The photo booth was so much fun and I love having those keepsake photos! Amanda was so helpful and has such a great eye for what she does. The service from applause productions was top notch from reaching out for pricing to letting us know the status of our video. We initially hired them for just photobooth and DJ but they worked with us on pricing and due to our date not being a peak date we were able to add videography to our budget. Amanda was a pleasure to work with and worked with us on the custom monogram so it would match other elements of our reception and John was a joy to work with all day long and worked well with the photographer for coordinating so no ones "toes" were stepped on. Our guests greatly enjoyed the photobooth and DJ at our reception, and the process for providing song info was super easy. We were well informed of what was going on with our preview and video while we waited for them to be finished and greatly appreciated getting to see the preview prior to it being shared to social media. While we will love having our vows on video to watch whenever, we really loved getting to see the reception footage since it seemed like the reception flew by so fast so it was nice to see how much fun our guests had. I would not hesitate to recommend this vendor.

Applause production is amazing! We did a package through our photographer and that included all day videography and DJ services from AP. All of the videography was absolutely wonderful! My husband and I couldn't be happier! These videos are the perfect way to remember our special day! And when they say all day it is all day! We have a lot of footage from the reception and it is awesome! There were two small rendering issues with our videos but we told them about it and they fixed it that night and had new copies in the mail the next day! As for the DJ services, we had many comments from our guests about how much they loved the music! In fact, once the reception was over it took almost an hour for most people to even leave! My husband and I were also extremely happy with DJ services! Finally, they are very flexible and affordable. We recommend Applause to everyone!

Wow...where do I start?! To begin with, Amanda is amazing--she is attentive and answers back to any and all questions lightening fast. If there is just ONE service that I could repeat at the next 3 weddings that I will have for my other children it would be the services from Applause!! The video is INCREDIBLE and we can't stop watching it! The photo booth was the highlight of the night and guests haven't stopped talking about how fun the dance was! There is NO way, I would ever host another wedding without Applause...thank you for giving our family such beautiful memories from a wonderful day.

Amanda and her team at Applause were truly wonderful to work with. My husband and I made a late decision to include videography and we were so glad we did in hindsight!!! Amanda and Abbey worked so hard to capture many wonderful and special moments on the day and accommodate our needs. They also worked extremely well with our photographer and coordinated things very closely and efficiently. We found other vendors were trying to upsell on every little detail but Applause were an absolute breeze to deal with! We were very lucky they were available at relatively short notice and the quality of their work was exceptional and professionally produced. You won’t be disappointed!

Our experience with Applause producations was amazing!! They make the day a breeze. We absolutely loved John our DJ at the reception. John & his team made the VFW hall look like an expensive venue! My monogram was perfect, fit the theme so well. The video they made was a tear jerker, the music was exactly what I requested all night long, and the fisheye photo booth is still being talked about today! I highly recommend their services. I am not someone who normally writes reviews but I believe this company deserves recognition for the service they provided. I used applause for both videography and DJ and I have nothing but positive things to say! John was an AWESOME DJ and videographer. Abby who also helped was very sweet! I can't wait to see the final product of the video but the DJ was more than perfect! He kept the dance floor full the entire night! Playing all the music requests my guests asked! We used Applause for our DJ service, videography, monogram & uplighting. I could not be more pleased with them. They were absolutely outstanding. I had my ceremony an hour away from my reception. They did everything with such ease and I didn't worry at all about having them for a vendor. The highlight video was so amazing and I am glad I was able to share it with my family & friends. The music was fun and they really were able to get people out on the dance floor. The monogram lighting was beautiful. I highly suggest getting that. Communication between myself and the husband & wife team was great. I would definitely recommend them. THANK YOU SO MUCH! Brad and I cannot say it enough. Thank you so much for everything you did. Several people asked for our playlist! Part of it was us, the rest was all John! My husband and I booked Applause Productions for our wedding on March 11, 2017 on a whim and WOW are we glad we did! Prior to booking with them, having a videographer was sadly at the bottom of our budget and I wasn't sure if we would be able to swing it. Most of the couples I knew who had recently gotten married skipped videography and all of them told me "I really wanted it, but honestly we probably would never watch the videos and it just wasn't in our budget". I was starting to agree with them just because of the pricing scales I had witnessed, but let me tell you all of those people were DEAD WRONG! If this is where you stop reading, let me assure you my husband and I have watched our FULL video nearly 6 times through and we have only been married a little under 2 months. We still hadn't booked a DJ when I came across Applause. I watched a couple of their videos and looked into their DJ services and instantly fell in love! I contacted them only to discover they were running a BOGO (Buy One Get One) deal at the time. If we purchased videography for $1500 our DJ would be free!! We had only exchanged one e-mail at the time, but I booked them instantly without even meeting them and I am SO SO SO happy that we did! On the day of our wedding Amanda and their crew met us at our venue around 11:00 AM and didn't leave our sides until the END of our reception at 11:00 PM! John was working a second wedding the same day as ours, however our DJ had been trained under John and was AWESOME! He kept everyone on their feet all night and really played off the crowd when choosing what song to play next. I could go ON AND ON AND ON about how pleased we were with this company. I would book them over and over again and have referred ALL of my recently engaged friends to them. You honestly just can't go wrong if you choose Applause Productions!

I cannot express how happy we are that we had Applause Productions provide videography,dj, uplighting and monogram for our wedding. John and Amanda are so easy to work with and perfectly captured our day. Originally I was not sold on having a videographer for our wedding, but I am so happy that we decided to have one and found Applause. The highlight video, full ceremony, and reception videos are priceless (but also very affordable). We also received all of our dvds very quickly. We have received endless compliments on the video and the dj. I would recommend that everyone choose Applause, you will not regret it!

Wow! Cannot go on enough with how happy we are with Applause Productions. We originally started out with the ceremony, DJ and videography services. At the last second we added the photo-booth, up lighting, and monogram. We are SO SO SO happy we did. The monogram was actually my favorite thing there! Our guest LOVED the fish eye photo-booth. It's 4x6 prints and you get endless prints for you and you guests. Then after your wedding the give you a link for access to all the photos in case you missed any. They have fun props and the pictures are awesome. It's not an actual booth, they take your photo. It really gave my guests something to do and got them to the dance floor! I had the guest print an extra copy and turned it into an advice book. Hilarious. John was AWESOME as a DJ. He had everyone out there all night long. We danced the night away! They have fun props with some songs that really get people out there having fun too! Amanda and John helped keep the night flowing wonderfully. They are so sweet and professional. I cannot wait to see my video! The day was so fast and I was so nervous, after our wedding John met up with us really quick so we could calmly read our letters we exchanged at first glance to record for our video! We used Applause for our ceremony sound, photo booth, and DJ! Let me tell you we danced from the first song until the last song. John was our DJ and this was by far the best wedding DJ ever (and i mean to any wedding I've ever been too). I know I'm a little biased, but seriously John controlled the night, made everyone dance (including my 95 year old grandma- she danced to Baby Got back- a priceless memory). Unlike some DJ's he made the bride and groom the center of attention the whole night, yet made the crowd go wild and excited for more! He kept the dance floor going, and the words that everyone said were this DJ is EPIC! If you have any doubts put them to rest, this is hands down the best DJ in the area and if you can book them do it NOW! They respond quickly and you don't have to worry about a thing. Loved our experience and would highly recommend them to anyone.

We cannot express our gratitude for Applause Productions enough. They made our wedding day come to life on film, something that we and our families cherish so much and something we will be able to share for years to come with our children. Their work is wonderful, and they provided a highlight film in the matter of weeks after our wedding, and full length film and footage of the entire wedding day in less than a month. They worked so well with us to understand our needs and what was important to us on our special day. Amanda and I exchanged messages frequently and she even called me the week of our wedding to confirm every small detail. Her and her team, which consists of mostly her family, are so sweet, accommodating, and creative. You can tell they really love what they do and they care about their clients! To think I almost didn't book a videographer for our wedding and then hit the jackpot with Applause Productions! Many brides say their biggest regret was not booking a videographer on their wedding day. I'm so glad we did! Book Applause Productions for your wedding day, you won't regret it!

John and Amanda did our videography and we were blown away. They went above and beyond, really... There was a mix up with our letters to one another on the day of and I was so bummed they wouldn't be read in our video. I didn't say anything to Amanda and John because it was our fault that one got misplaced. Amanda messaged me on facebook asking to meet up to read our letters so that she could put them in our video. They drove all the way to our area on a Saturday and did the recording. Our 10 min video was more than we could have ever asked for. It was beyond beautiful. Not to mention they showed up at 9am and stayed until 9pm, really captured our entire day. I am SO glad they got recommended to me.

Applause Productions was wonderful! From the time we contacted them to the wedding day they were great to work with! They gave me recommendations for other vendors that would be needed for our wedding. They provided ceremony sound, photo story, DJ, video and photo booth services for our special day! John and his team were very friendly. He did an amazing job all night long and kept the crowd entertained until the end. All the photos from the photo booth were on Facebook the next day! It was great seeing all those photos so soon! All our guests enjoyed the photo booth and had a blast using all the props! A couple weeks later he gave us some special pictures from the highlight video. I would recommend them to anyone who needs one or all of these services for ANY special occasion.

They were absolutely amazing! Everybody has been talking about how fun our wedding was. DJ was so upbeat and so good at getting everybody involved and the videographer was amazing. The day turned out so perfect and I would not have been the same with anybody else! I would recommend them 1 million times to anybody !

We are so happy that we used Applause for our wedding! John was an amazing DJ that provided great music and brought fun props for our guests to engage in that kept our party going. We also used John as our videographer and our video is BEAUTIFUL. There is so much footage he captured from our day, that I never would have seen otherwise. We could tell he put in such hard work with the hours of footage we have! He returned our video so quickly too. Best money spent. Applause did a beautiful job capturing our wedding day as well as running the sound for our ceremony and reception. They were quick to respond to my communication, and pricing can't be beat! They were considerate and professional, very flexible, and worked wonderfully with my photographer. Our wedding day brought rain and a possible venue change, the timeline didn't go as planned - along with other issues they were happy to work around. They went above and beyond, I even caught one of them trying to help clean up at the reception. Our wedding video is beautiful, I couldn't have asked for anything more. Five stars doesn't seem like enough - hire applause and you won't regret it!

We had Applause videography for our wedding day and they did great! We absolutely love our video and they got it back to us sooo fast! I've heard people waiting up to 6 months for their video ours took 3 weeks! I would definitely recommend Applause to any couple!

John was the DJ for our wedding reception at The Christy in April of 2016. Working with an assistant, they also handled all of the videography for the day. The music was great. They played a great mix of music and made sure to include a large selection of the songs I had requested (even incorporating some requests of mine into the dinner music). The announcements were seamless and kept the evening right on time and on track, and John rolled with it easily when we had hiccups along the way (I forgot my garter, so no garter toss, and a couple of people were missing for the bridal party walk in announcements, etc.).
And he kept the party rolling until the last minute. The dance floor was never empty. We actually had people dancing on a second dance floor in the other far corner of the room!
Because he was also handling the video, I wondered if they would be stretched too thin, but 2 weeks after the ceremony we received the link to our wedding highlight video and it was just great too! Everyone we've shown it to has absolutely been blown away, especially since they were completely unobtrusive...no one even noticed them getting all of the lovely shots they managed to get.
They even caught a couple of moments that our (nearly-perfect) photographers weren't able to capture. Impressive!
So, I'd highly recommend them to anyone looking for an affordable combination of DJ and video. They did a good job and didn't cost a fortune. We definitely made the right choice with Applause!

Great vendor if you are looking for a DJ and/or ceremony sound. We hired them for both services. They were great at communicating with me and answering all of my questions throughout the process. They were also berry accommodating, allowing us to be very specific with a playlist of songs while guests arrived. They are also very reasonably priced!

Applause productions is an absolute pleasure to work with. As videographers they are never intrusive at any special moments - when you see your video you will be surprised that they really capture everything! As far as DJ services they are awesome! There was never a dull moment all night long! The pace of the music was perfect and the dance floor was full of all of my guests! I had so many compliments on how much fun they were! The props for some of the dances kept everyone talking and it was a blast. You can truly see the talent they have for this and the fun they bring with each service they offer. It isn't a complete wedding unless you have a little "Applause".

Applause Productions is a great company to have service your event! We booked them as a DJ for our Wedding and everything was went so smoothly. They were able to hook up our officiant since it was an outside wedding and had music playing as people were flowing in. We requested specific music and they followed through without any problems and it was everything that I hoped it would be!. Applause Productions was awesome to work with for our Labadie, MO wedding. We were planning to just use an iPod to self DJ our DIY wedding, but in the end we broke down and began looking for a DJ a few months before our date. Applause Productions provided ceremony, cocktail/dinner and dancing DJ services (5 hours total and set up two hours before) at a great price. They have an online PayPal payment system which made it easy pay our deposit and then final total.

They arrived on time (two hours before our ceremony start time) to set up with sound, lights and a disco ball. Cole, our DJ, was nicely dressed, professional and very friendly to work with. I was able to chat with him about what I wanted and he accommodated our request to play straight from our pre-provided song list, which isn't their norm as they usually go off of a genre/style of your choosing and pick the songs themselves. If you are doing DIY and choosing between iPod playlists versus a DJ, one thing I will say is that the DJ almost acts as a wedding coordinator to make sure the ceremony songs go smoothly and play at the right time and that announcements are made like dinner, last call for food, first dances, cutting the cake, etc. For us this was a huge plus.

At the end of the night Cole and his helper even helped us move a few things as we were cleaning up and made sure to ask if we needed anything else, how the day was for us, etc. I would highly recommend Applause Productions.

i highly recommend applause productions! They provided the up lighting, music, and videography services at my wedding reception a few weekends ago. They even used a projector to play my destination wedding ceremony to all of my guests before we made our grand entrance. They captured the evening fully without missing any special moments that I can recall. I received my wedding video in a very timely manner. The price for their services were extremely competitive and were the best value I could find after weeks of comparing! The entertainment was great! They provided props for some of the silly dances and they ensured my guests and I had a great evening full of memories! I also had no issue getting into contact with them when I had questions arise! And that is such an important trait to a stressed out bride-to-be! I will recommend this wonderful service to all of my future bride-to-be friends in the future!

After our original dj fell through, John stepped in and provided FANTASTIC service. He kept the reception going and everyone had a blast. The fun songs like the duck dance with duck hat and Conga line complete with maracas and sombreros were a great touch and so much fun. Applause Productions was incredibly helpful from start to finish with their DJ services! Great communication, staying in touch with price, services offered, music selection, set-up times, and most amusingly a surprise dance with the DJ leading everyone! We wanted to support small business, and this was exactly what we were looking for. Amanda was fantastic in reaching out to us and very flexible, quickly responding to us whenever we remembered a last minute song or had just one more question. Our music man of the evening, Cole was great when we bombarded him with last minute changes to the schedule of the reception, and was able to play accommodate all of the music requests we had our guests submit with their RSVP to keep with the flow of the whole evening. A limbo dance, a conga line, and even the chicken dance were lead by his assistant, and got every single guest up to dance and enjoy themselves! I would highly recommend Applause Productions, very flexible, helpful, and right in our budget. If you are looking for a small business and interested in supporting local, Applause Productions is the company for you, they put the soundtrack to our evening and really helped to make it as memorable as it was.

My husband and I were so happy with the quality of video that was taken at our wedding. Each time we watch the videos and reflect back on the day tears form in our eyes and we each have a huge smile on our face!! Awesome company! They have done so many weddings for our friends. Every time they have been amazing! They were amazing to work with. I missed a call and email from John for a before hand conference he was completely understanding and easy to reschedule with. The music was right on with what we wanted. Anytime there was a request for an odd song he would ask the groom or I of it was ok. Our wedding video is amazing! It captured every moment we wanted it to! It also left out all those moments we didn't want on it. I 100% would recommend this company.

John did a truly wonderful job of catching all the special moments of our big day. The quality of the finished product is amazing and we couldn't be happier. Gotta tell you John and Mandy were perfect for our wedding. We just asked for a DJ to entertain the guests during the reception. Mandy was extremely flexible and helped custom tailor the music not just with the normal expected music but helped to create the perfect playlist to drive the mood. When we needed to contact her she was always available, willing to answer questions. We had a presentation we wanted to display they helped us develop it and even explained the best ways to present it. A couple of times we would email her and she either responded within the hour or called us directly. They set up the venue extremely professionally. John and Mandy coordinated with the venue manager directly to make sure everything was ready so we didn't even have to worry about it. Then during the reception John not only did the normal DJ thing he involved the crowd, played games and had all the guests smiling and having fun. What really stood out to us was that he had the children occupied playing games with them himself and enjoying the event. Mandy was excellent at customer service and John was a great DJ and business man. Very professional, we could not have asked for better. They have done this enough that when they had a suggestion we listened.

As a parent, you want the best for your children's weddings and a DJ can make or break your reception! Applause Productions did an OUTSTANDING job for us! We can't thank you guys enough for all you did! You had our party dancing from the beginning to the end! John, your personality showed when you would announce the wedding parties names and announced the different dances....you were there to show everyone a great time, but best of all, you clearly love what you do and people can read that through your voice, you were upbeat and got everyone so excited about all the different events of the evening! You, your beautiful wife and Cole (the newest upcoming DJ) were so organized and so sweet. You made these parents proud to have you DJ their daughters wedding! I remember my daughter coming up to me at the end of the night asking if the DJ's would stay overtime....they didn't want their night to end! You all were so flexible, in fact, my husband and I came up to ask about certain songs and John would pull out his "detailed" list of the evening to fit in whatever we wanted. Our overall experience with Applause Productions was 5 stars....better than expected and SO APPRECIATED!!! You cannot go wrong choosing this vendor!!! John was wonderful! He played all of the music we chose and was a lot of fun. As the Mother of the Bride, I didn't have to worry about anything. John took care of everything! I would recommend him for any party or reception.

John and Amanda did an amazing job at my wedding reception! My husband and I could not be happier. The dance floor was full, happy and having fun all night. John from Applause Productions went out of his way to make our night a success! We have been to several weddings this year and he was by far the most entertaining and really got our crowd moving! John and his wife are a terrific team! They recorded our ceremony and reception as well as dj'd for our wedding. We received nothing but compliments from our guests and the dance floor was rocking the entire night! Great job!! We received the video yesterday and my husband and I watched it 4 times in a row -- we couldn't get enough! It exceeded all of my expectations! John and his wife are GEMS!

I had a high school friend recommend applause productions. I will now second that recommendation. We received our video two weeks after our wedding. Everything was covered, not a second was missed. It was great that he added in music in our ceremony to cover where our usher messed up.

John and his wife were so helpful. We hired them to DJ and videotape but they went above and beyond that and helped in any way they could to see our day went smoothly. They were friendly, professional, and flexible in every way before, during, and after the wedding. I have been to a family member's wedding since ours, and feel our experience was a much better experience and value. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for these services!

I was very pleased with John and his wife's work. They were friendly, professional and very helpful. They came 4 hours before my ceremony even started to set up. Their DJ equipment was amazing, the light show was fantastic, John kept people on the dance floor all night, he was very accommodating to my music choices. He stayed in contact with me for months before the actual date to mix music, pick songs and plan the reception entrance. I just received my DVD and it took less than a week for him to finish. The video is amazing, i absolutely love it!! He captured all of the important moments and kept the camera rolling till the last song. I would recommend him for any event, I will definitely be contacting him with any future events I plan. I can not thank them enough for the amazing job they did to help make my special day the best day ever!!

Applause Production's was a joy to work with. As we planned our wedding we were quite impressed with the professionalism Applause Production portrayed. More so, Mr. Potter was very prompt with returning calls, and a pleasure to have as our DJ. The price is afforable, and payments are a simple process. With all that goes into planning a wedding Applause Production will be one of the few you can trust fully. We had 280 guests and the dance floor was full, lights were going and our guests were genuinely enjoying themselves. We will definitely use Applause Production for any and all future videography and DJ use.

I would highly recommend Applause Productions for any event. He played at my friends wedding and was great so I knew who to call when it was my turn! I used this company for my recent wedding and the dance floor was constantly filled and everyone had a great time! He knew when to play what song at the perfect time and played something for everyone! He was extremely nice and professional and I will definitely use him again if I ever need a DJ for an event!

Fun and an interactive DJ! Everything went off without issues, which on your wedding day is VERY important! Played great songs along with ones we requested. He even customized a song for me to walk down the aisle too, which was especially nice :)

Applause Productions did an amazing job capturing my wedding ceremony and reception on video! They were so easy to work with and their pricing was very reasonable! I even received my DVDs before the estimated delivery date! I will definitely recommend this vendor to my friends and family! Having a videographer for our wedding was a last minute decision for my husband and I and I was really worried about it being so late... but I was lucky to find Applause Productions!

Our wedding was on Friday out of town and the reception was Saturday, so we had Applause Productions only DJ and film the reception. They really worked out the cost well with us and we were very happy with the service! They were so friendly and easy to work with while being professional as well. They even threw in some fun surprises that really got the crowd going!

APPLAUSE PRODUCTIONS IS BY FAR THE BEST THEIR IS!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! For starters, they made our wedding day so fun! Our wedding highlight video is just absolutely beautiful and captured every single important moment of our very special day! Not only do you get a highlight video but a highlight video of the entire day also! I have watched them all probably 28 times SO FAR! It is so wonderful to watch and replay the whole day ! We plan on watching the highlight video on our anniversary every year! Their turn-around time was soooo fast! We didnt have to wait months to get our videos also which was sooo awesome! We also had them for our DJ at our reception and they kept the dance floor crowded and played all the songs I had requested before-hand to dance to ! THEY ARE INCREDIBLE and I am already telling my friends they HAVE TO use them !! Besides marrying my husband (haha) this was one of the best decisions I EVER made!!

We are extremely happy we chose you for our DJ services for our Wedding Reception. It was far better than we could have expected. The song selection blew me away. Even when some of the older guests wanted to hear something, (That I've never even heard of) sure enough it got played. A wedding video is a must for any wedding! Your day goes by SO fast that you forget so many things, this is a great way to relive the day over and over!
Applause Productions did our videography for our wedding and we were so happy with the video! They were on time, professional and did a fantastic job! John was very quick to respond with any questions we had and was easy to work with. We are so glad we chose them and have our video to watch for years.

Applause did our wedding videography! We are extremely glad we made the decision to have a videographer! We LOVED our video, highlight and full length. They were professional and accommodating on the day of. When I wasn’t sure if we wanted to do a first look or not, the owners experience helped make our decision to have one, and we are so glad we did!
