She is the best

If you are looking for someone to do your hair and makeup for your wedding, look no further! Shaelynn is the woman for the job. When I initially contacted her she was incredibly responsive, friendly, and genuinely wanted to know what I wanted for my wedding hair and makeup. I did a hair and makeup trial and with her before the big day and she perfectly executed the exact look I was hoping for. She made sure to use colors and products that would complement my super pale skin tone and she turned my fine straight hair into a gorgeous updo. Day of the wedding she arrived on time and ready to go and she perfectly replicated the hair and makeup look that she did for my trial. The makeup was so light that it didn't feel like I was wearing any even though it was full coverage and my hair stayed in place then entire day, even 7 hours later getting photos on the windy beach. She pre prepared the perfect little touch up kit for me in case I needed to dry some tears or touch up my lip color on my wedding day. Thanks to Shaelynn, I felt like the most beautiful bride on my wedding day. She is so talented and professional, I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Hair & Makeup Greatness

I would recommend Shae and her team to anyone anytime! My experiences with her were all fantastic! From the initial session through my photography booking, to my bridal hair & makeup trial, to wedding day - she was on point through it all! I looked stunning and felt like a princess the whole time. Shae is so professional and really knows how to enhance your natural beauty and find colors to compliment your complexion. I loved the airbrush makeup & products that she used. My sensitive skin didn’t have any issues with the products. My makeup lasted throughout my whole wedding & well into the night! My beautiful romantic updo was stunning! It stayed in place the whole time & was absolutely breathtaking. All of my bridesmaids looked so classy and elegantly glammed. Nothing was too extreme or gaudy the artists were able to create an individualized style for them all while using their inspiration photos to find the perfect look. It was the best experience & I would honestly recommend to everyone looking to book their bridal services!

I had the pleasure of working with Shae many times now; through working along side her as a photographer to my own photo sessions THEN to my wedding day!
She has always been SO sweet and kind - we love her! My ladies in the bridal party couldn't stop saying how beautiful they were and how well she did our hair and makeup! I would definitely recommend Shae - if you want to be taken care of on your day shes your gal!!

Shae is phenomenal!

From the moment we first spoke on Instagram to the day of my wedding, Shae was wonderful to work with. I had a trial with her and she provided everything I asked for. I asked to make some minor tweaks to the makeup just based on personal preference and she was more than accommodating. We spoke the night before the wedding to go over the changes and I decided to completely change my hairstyle (again, just changed my mind despite my hair looking great at the trail). She agreed that the new hairstyle would look great and she completely knocked it out of the park. On my wedding day my hair and makeup was absolutely perfect and I couldn't have been happier. She was also very accommodating when I asked to add a couple more services after I already signed my contract. I would highly recommend Shae for your wedding or special event hair/makeup services!

Simply the best!!

I cannot say enough amazing things about Shae! She made me feel absolutely stunning on my wedding day—exactly like the best version of myself. From the trial to the wedding morning, she was professional, warm, and incredibly talented. She listened to what I wanted and executed it flawlessly, making the whole process stress-free and fun. My makeup lasted all day and night (even through happy tears and dancing!), and I got so many compliments. I’m so grateful to have had her as part of such a special day. Absolutely Amazing!!

I don't know where to begin on my review about Shae. I guess I'll start with her impeccable taste in music that helps create the fun but professional environment. Second, her personality! Every one at my wedding loved her, she is a master of her craft and a wonderful person through and through. She listens, she made every single one of us feel absolutely stunning. And the best part, I got married on a 95 degree day (that part not so good lol), and we stayed outside all day, and so did our makeup and hair. Not only do I recommend her for your big day, if I could shout it from a rooftop I would!

LOVE! Extremely professional on top of being a fantastic MUA!

I cannot recommend Shae enough. She was my MUA + hair (with her partner) for my wedding party of about 14 people. My trial with her was a lovely experience and I felt so comfortable to be honest about what I truly wanted for my wedding day and if there was any edits/changes that I wanted. She slayed it on my wedding day and remained so professional with my large party to make sure that everything was done in a timely manner! Most importantly, Shae did my makeup in a way that made me feel like myself

Working with Shae was great. She is priced so well which is nice especially when you have a lot of bridesmaids and a lot of budgets to work with. She arrived on time on our wedding day and her assistants and her were so friendly. Everyone, including me, loved their hair and makeup!

Beautiful Results!!

Shaelynn and her assistants were amazing! My girls, moms, and I loved working with them for the morning of our wedding. They showed up early and were ready to start right away, and they kept perfectly to the timeline even with 10 people getting hair and makeup. They communicate well with their clients to produce amazing results! My bridal trial with Shae went really well and when I changed my mind on a few things she was able to make the necessary changes day of to produce my perfect bridal look! I cannot recommend them enough!!

Shaelynn was amazing to work with from the minute I booked through the day of our wedding. She was easy to work with and really took the time to understand the look I wanted and how to achieve it. I couldn’t have asked for a better stylist. Her and her team made my bridesmaids and moms look so beautiful! I would highly recommend her to any bride and if I ever need hair services again I will be reaching out. Bridal and wedding party hair

Shay was awesome! She came to my house to do my hair and makeup, which made my reception day that much easier. Her work was amazing too! I looked like I was wearing a Snapchat filter, in the best possible way! She was very personable, kind, and made sure that I thought my makeup was absolutely perfect before she left. 10/10, would definitely recommend her for any and all of your hair and makeup needs!

Can't recommend her enough!!

Shae did such an amazing job on not only my hair and makeup for my wedding but on my bridesmaids as well! She was so patient with last minute changes and questions from others getting their makeup done on the day of the wedding. She effortlessly made a couple of tweaks to my makeup on the day of the wedding based on what we had discussed during my trial. My hair and makeup stayed flawless throughout the entire day and night, and her touch-up kit she provided me was so thoughtful and helpful! I would absolutely recommend her to anyone needing hair or makeup services, or even if you need someone to go to for a wax! I love that she's also a licensed esthetician; you can be certain that you are in good hands with her!

Shae is the best!

Shae is AWESOME! She was prompt with our correspondence and answered all my questions. She truly wanted to get to know me and the look I was going for, for my wedding. I knew what hairstyle I wanted, but am clueless about makeup since I don't wear any and she understood that. We went over styling and makeup together and she made suggestions and educated me in the process. She really listened to me and she delivered! Stressed out MOM

Shaelynn was hired early on before COVID-19. We had rescheduled several times. Then decided to cancel, my daughter then informed me, she was getting married in a few days. So needless to say I needed a makeup artist. Shaelynn saved the day with a couple days notice. I'm so happy she was availed to do my daughters make up and mine.
My daughter felt like a princess and I felt beautiful.

Book shaelynn

Shaelynn is a true professional! Her skills are so diverse and offer so much for her clients. When searching for hair and makeup artists I scheduled interviews to find the right match for me. After talking to Shaelynn I was so excited to schedule my trial. The fact that she does both hair and makeup was a huge plus. My trial went amazing and my engagement pictures were flawless! I ended up having a change of heart with my hairstyle I chose for my wedding day and she totally understood and wanted what was best for ME. She wants you to love what you look like and feel your best. I usually wear a natural look and do not wear a lot of makeup; she worked with me to find what best fits my style. My hair and makeup were PERFECT on my wedding day, I even wore my hairstyle the next day. Shaelynn will definitely be my go-to in the future for any beauty need.

Great Experience working with Shae!

Shae was super responsive to any questions I had and she did an amazing job on my hair and makeup! She was able to take my ideas and put her own spin on them to make me look fantastic for my wedding. I loved how she and her makeup assistant asked each of my bridesmaids what they wanted to do rather than just repeat the same thing on everyone. My mom was skeptical about getting her hair and makeup done and now she is saving a photo to take to her hairdresser! I am so glad I went with a small business rather than one of the agencies.

Amazing hair stylist!

Shae is your girl for amazing hairstyles! I have a lot of hair and it’s not always easy for hair stylists to style it and have it stay, but Shae did! My wedding was outside on the beach on a VERY hot and humid day, and my hair didn’t move or get frizzy. She did my sister’s hair and my moms and they were impressed too! She was awesome to work with and had many great pieces of advice to offer!

I’ve never felt more beautiful

Perfect perfect perfect! Shae was such a blessing. Getting married during the pandemic and in such short notice, I was panicking trying to find a good hair/makeup service. Shae was my first choice and I’m so very pleased with the decision. Very good pricing right off the bat. Did the trial hair/makeup and it turned out beautiful. But the day of, blew my mind. She was so very professional and very flexible. She understood exactly what I wanted and exceeded my expectations. The wedding day was a bit of a headache right away but she was able to help keep my wits together. She was so kind and I’m very blessed to have her be a part of my big day. Wonderful!!!

Shaelynn did makeup and hair for my wedding pictures and she did an amazing job. I am not from the Virginia Beach area and I was recommended to her from my photographer and Shaelynn was very professional and easy to work with. She never had time to do a trial run on my hair or make up and she came to my hotel the day of my photos and did both the exact way I showed her pictures of what I wanted. Wonderful & Professional

Shaelynn was wonderful from my first inquiry about hair & makeup services to the day of our wedding. I schedule a trial for hair & makeup and from talking with her and the work that she did during the trial I knew I had to book her for our wedding. Since our wedding was during the pandemic the plans were ever-changing but Shaelynn was always in communication. The morning of my wedding, Shaelynn and her assistant arrived (both very friendly it truly felt like we were just hanging out with girlfriends - which made it seem less stress and more enjoyable/memorable!), the ladies set up their hair & makeup tools and went straight to work taking care of the hair and makeup of my (5) bridesmaids and Shaelynn did my hair & makeup. The girls and I looked gorgeous! Not to mention the hair & makeup lasted through a very hot & humid Southeastern Virginia Day. Simply Flawless! Would definitely recommend Shaelynn - not only does a wonderful job but very knowledgable too!

Wonderful!

I can't say enough good things about Shaelynn! Professional, warm, talented. The list could go on and on. I had a picture and some ideas that I took to my trial for the hair style and Shaelynn knocked it out of the park! It got even better the day of my wedding as she had studied the picture and tweeked sm ideas that made the braids even more stunning. The makeup was perfect as well, for me I wanted to be me with a little pop and polish. And I got that ten fold. I had several bridesmaids and my mom use her as well. She was able to create styles that matched each person perfectly. And we were finished with out rush. It was so relaxing and fun.

Her other services are just as great. I had my first facial right before the wedding and have never felt so pampered with a rose petal soft face. I couldn't begin to recommend Shaelynn enough! 6/5 am totally planning on using her in the future for whatever travel beauty needs I have.

Phenomenal

Shae is one of the sweetest and most genuine person I've gotten the privilege to work with throughout my wedding journey. I was blessed enough to have been introduced to her by my engagement photographer and even more blessed to have her available to work my wedding day! When she did my engagement hair, she was honestly so easy going and I got along with her so easily. When we did my bridal trials she was so patient to figure out the exact style that I wanted and took the time to work with me through two trials to find that perfect look. and we totally found it!! We perfected the look and I loved that she was able to do her own creative spin on the idea and make it her own, something original! The style was absolutely breath taking and held the entire day! Not to mention she also worked with 6 other girls hair (ALL different textures and lengths!!) and totally knocked their styles out of the park on the day of my wedding. All were unique in their own right and absolutely stunning!

So the important stuff people want to know! She is very reasonably priced, very responsive, very professional, very accommodating, very time efficient and very down to earth! She really took the time to get to know my vision and to get to know me as a person and it made the wedding process so easy and so fun. She really helped to calm my nerves on the big day and made my ladies feel so beautiful for the occasion! I 110% recommend her to anyone and everyone! I can't say enough good things about her and I adore her whole heartedly. She will definitely be someone that I return to in the future!

Flexible Schedule

Shae was extremely flexible and was super willing to work with us. I used her services for bridal portraits, as well as day of, and she was very flexible in making the schedule work with the many different people we were coordinating with. She is extremely nice and easy to talk to, as well.

We loved it!!!!

I called Shae maybe two months before the wedding and I was so happy she was able to help us! She was very responsive to any questions I had and it was very easy to set up a trial with Shae, Mandy, and Destiny. After the trial we all ended up choosing different hairstyles and make-up and that was no problem either! Mandy and Destiny were amazing to work with the day of the wedding. They both made us all look beautiful and also just talked and laughed with us! I would highly recommend using Shae and her team for your special day!

I can't say enough great things about Shae - I got compliments on my bridal hair & makeup all night. Even when I was dancing (perhaps a little too hard) everything stayed in place and looked perfect. She was so great with our 5 year old flower girl too who wasn't too sure about the whole process. Each bridesmaid showed her what she wanted through a picture on the spot, and without hesitation she went to work and delivered! Everyone looked so beautiful. Nothing short of amazing!!

Shaelynn was so amazing!! She did exactly what I wanted and made me feel like a princess!! My wedding day was magical and she was such a big part of it!! I had to last minute look for a new stylist and makeup artist and she was all over it! The trial was so great and on the big day I loved what she did even better! I was so worried about my tears messing up my make up for after ceremony pictures and she was flexible to stay after the ceremony to touch me up!! How amazing is that!!

I looked like the goddess I wanted to be!

At my trial with Shae, my face was a canvas and she was like daVinci, mixing colors and matching shades to make me into the natural beauty goddess I wanted to be at my wedding. The trial went well and she has two cute pups! She offers other services for the bride and she can travel to your house and apply magic to other members in your party. She was so accommodating when I said that I had to add more people last minute and when my mom changed her mind the night before about what she wanted. She's super flexible and she drove all the way out to Williamsburg to my house to wave her magic make-up brush! She also gave me an emergency kit and a paper straw!! She remembered my comments about how I try to be environmentally-friendly and she provided me with a straw so that I would make my luscious red drama filled lips alive.
I'd totally use Shae again! I suck at applying makeup to myself, but she can work wonders. I looked amazing for my wedding! Hire her!!

Fabulous hair and highly recommend!

Shaelynn styled my hair and my bridesmaids' hair for my wedding in September, and did a fantastic job! During my trial, we figured out my hair style, and then she recreated it perfectly for the big day (plus some extra pins/hairspray). For my maids, she made sure that each felt comfortable with their chosen style, and made recommendations for what would look great (and she was right!) She also made sure to not duplicate my hairstyle on anyone else, but made them complementary. Shae was great to work with, relaxed, fun, and professional. Highly recommend!!

Shaelynn was an absolute gem to work with! She was incredibly flexible from the start of the wedding planning process through the day of the wedding. She was very accommodating for myself (the bride) and my maid of honor. I changed my hair style following the trial run and she executed the new hairstyle the day of the wedding perfectly. Because I very rarely wear make-up on a daily basis, I wanted to have the most neutral make-up for my wedding. I was very happy with the minimalist style make-up. She helped me feel beautiful and confident for our wedding. It means a tremendous amount to me that she put in so much effort for my hair and make-up since our pictures and memories will last forever.

LOVED SHAE. I had 8 hairs and 8 makeups for my wedding. One of my bridesmaids booked her too for her wedding. When I saw Shae again, she remembered me and my wedding! She was on time, she cares, she is honest, she is funny, she helped you stay on schedule (which is great for a stressful bride) and is willing to re-do what you did not like -- which is super hard to find in this type of vendor. Her assistant is also VERY AWESOME. She made us all laugh and she suggests what compliments your face shape, and can also tell you whats not to hot for your face! Something I think is very important to know not only for your wedding day but for everyday makeup too!

Professional and beautiful!

Shae did an amazing job at my trial and at the wedding! We had a few last minute changes and she was able to go with the flow and accommodate us. She was very friendly and relaxed and laughed and talked with us the whole time she was doing our hair/ makeup. I went with a vintage style and it turned out so beautiful! I got so many compliments on my hair and makeup. I never wear makeup and it looked natural. I even had fake eyelashes but they looked natural too! Definitely worth the money to spend on your wedding day!

Shaelynn was absolutely amazing! She did my hair for the wedding as well with my wedding party. She’s such a down to earth, very sweet person, and she does a perfect job!
My hair stayed all night, as well with my wedding party!
We got our hair done by 10-12 am and it stayed all through the night! We didn’t have to do any touch ups or anything. Her hairstyles make it look just like a Pinterest hairstyle. (Of course for it to fit your body) but I would recommend her for any occasion!

I am in love. Shaelynn did an AMAZING job. She met me later in the afternoon for my trial in order to accommodate my work schedule, and she worked wonders on me. I know very little about makeup, and she answered all of my questions and made some great recommendations. She even managed to style my hair, which I typically keep short. When the big day arrived, she got there early and got right to work on my maid of honor. She was able to accommodate some very different skin tones, and was VERY patient with my junior bridesmaid, who can be more than a handful sometimes. She captured the natural look perfectly on everyone, and absolutely nailed the hairstyle I was aiming for. She was constantly upbeat and smiling, super professional, and just an all-around nice person. I had a great time working with her, and I highly recommend her for anybody needing to look beautiful for any reason.

5 stars! I recently got married and hired Shae to do the hair and makeup for 10 people (including 2 flower girls) for my wedding. They came to our hotel and immediately got started. Not only were her and her team extremely punctual, efficient and on-schedule, they made everyones hair and makeup look fantastic! As the bride, I was getting compliments on my hair ALL NIGHT. When I first met the photographer at the venue, she said to me "your hair is STUNNING. It looks straight out of Pinterest." One of my bridesmaids said that she wished she could keep her hair like that all the time because it looked fantastic and it held up.

Compared to other hair and makeup artists in the area, her prices are more than reasonable for the amazing job and customer service. My mother was getting a little anxious and not quite happy with the first round of makeup they put on her. Shae and her crew handled the situation in the best way. They were so calm and super nice, they corrected the makeup without hesitation and my mom looked stunning (not to mention she was so happy).

Again, highly recommend Shae. She'll be the first one to say she is not a magician, but I beg to differ :)

Shaelynn was amazing! I had to book her services somewhat last minute, but she was available for my wedding day. Her pictures do not do her work justice! She spent about 45 minutes on each of my girls and they turned out absolutely gorgeous! Her prices were super reasonable, especially considering the beautiful caliber of her work. Shaelynn did all of my bridesmaids hair and makeup, my hair and makeup and my three flower girls hair! She had us all done and ready to walk down the aisle for my wedding day. We all looked so amazing! I had a hair/makeup trial with her prior to the wedding day and she was so patient with me, she took the time to find out what I truly wanted to look like on my wedding day. I looked and felt the best I ever have in my entire life, which is what every bride wants!! I would highly recommend Shaelynn to anyone who wants a personal, professional experience and who wants to be absolutely stunning on their wedding day!!

Shaelynn and her team are so good at what they do. We had 15-18 people getting hair and make-up done. They showed up at 9:30am and worked tirelessly to get everyone completed. The hairstyles and make-up were flawless. Everyone looked beautiful for the BIG DAY!

Shaelynn and her assistant did a wonderful job doing hair and makeup for my sister, my mom and me on my wedding day. The looks they provided us were above and beyond what we had asked for or expected. They were very professional, friendly and experienced. As a bride who was coming out of town for a destination wedding in Virginia Beach I was so nervous about who to pick to do my bridal hair. Most people have a trial before their wedding but I didn't have that luxury as I was coming from Michigan. After looking at several reviews online I found Shaelynn and her amazing website and reviews. I booked her to come to the house where my bridal party was getting ready and hoped for the best. You guys she is the real deal she listen to each persons request for their hair and made it happen. She was efficient with her time and made sure that we were done with time to spare. Looking back at my pictures now my hair is one of my favorite parts of my wedding, I absolutely love it and I would totally recommend her!

In a few short words, SHAE IS AMAZING!!! Just do yourself a favor and choose her - I promise you will not regret it! She madee all of us look absolutely beautiful according to each of our own unique styles.

Review:
First, I could not find anyone with as low of a trial cost as Shae, and that was one of the reasons I tried her (thank the Lord!). My total wedding budget was $7000 (including everything but our rings - even the thank you presents), so that goes to show you that value was top on my list! Even if you don't trust me by this point, it's only $25 for a trial, so go and see for yourself :) She spent so much time with me on my trial and made it look amazing. Anything I wanted to try, she would fix and show me how it would be. My hair was pretty short, but I was determined to have an up do. I always dreamed of the beautiful hair styles for my wedding day. WOW she made it look like my hair was magically long and twisted into this beautiful low bun.
On the day of, it was beautiful yet again! She came in, set up, and was ready to go! All four of my bridesmaids loved their hair as well. All different styles, but still wonderfully done. As long as she has a picture of what you want, she can get it pretty close, if not spot on. Same goes for make up! The airbrushing was so light and felt nice on my skin. It stayed the whole night - even after all the hugs. The only reason my hair fell out a little was because my new husband accidentally kept pulling on the end of the veil whenever he'd put his arm behind me for pictures, so my veil fell out a few times which loosened my hair.

Beyond everything, Shae has this personality that instantly relaxes you and takes away all of the stressful thoughts running through your mind. She is so kind and loves her job!!

Shae and Amanda were just amazing! They took care of eight of us on the day of my wedding - from my Mom to our adorable flower girl! Shae was so informative and responded to all of my questions right away. She and Amanda arrived on our wedding day even before we did and took care of us all right on schedule - we all felt so special! So many guests commented on our hair and makeup, saying it was the best they had seen! If you want to take the stress out of your wedding day, Shae and Amanda are the ones for you!

I found Shae on the Borrowed and Blue wedding website, and after doing my trial hair and makeup, I'm so happy that I booked her for my wedding. She did a beautiful job with my airbrush makeup, and enhanced my features while still making me look natural. I had her curl my hair and pull it half up, and her work held up wonderfully for the entire evening, including through the gale force wind we had to endure for our outdoor ceremony! All of my bridesmaids and my mom loved her and were very happy with her skills. I highly recommend booking her for your special event!

Shae and her assistant were amazing! I met her at a friends wedding that I was a bridesmaid in and had a great experience so I decided to use her for my wedding and I am so glad I did!! I showed her pictures of the look I wanted and she NAILED my trial and then somehow did an even better job on the wedding day!! Her and her assistant, Amanda showed up early, had all the equipment they needed and got right to work. They were able to make sure everyone was done on time even with people adding services on the day of (because they loved what they saw) and they handled my difficult mother with professionalism and were able to make her happy!

Shaelynn was great!!! She was very responsive to my inquires when I first contacted her and was very flexible and accommodating when scheduling the trial since I was out of town. Not only was she incredibly knowledgeable about her profession and would answer any naive question I would have about hair or makeup (I know very little...) but she was incredibly friendly and personable!! For the day of my wedding, she was very accommodating to myself and my bridesmaids and my hair & makeup looked even better than the trial!

Shae and Amanda were absolutely amazing. They were able to do all of my bridesmaids, and the mothers of the bride and grooms hair and make-up in such a fast amount of time. Shea is such a beautiful person who made my wedding stress free! She was very organized and had a game plan for myself and whole wedding party so everyone could get their hair and makeup done in a timely manner. I would recommend her to anyone! Shaelynn was wonderful! I hired her for my hair and makeup in addition to my Mother's hair. I recommend the trial makeup and hair. I think it is less stressful on the day of your wedding because I knew exactly what my hair and makeup would look like.

My hair was exactly what I envisioned and my makeup exceeded my expectations. She did a fabulous job. I had many compliments on my hair and makeup.

Shaelynn is very personable and courteous. My Mother and I enjoyed her being part of my wedding day.

I hired Shae to do my hair and make up and she did a perfect job for my wedding. She did everything I asked for. I recommend to do a trial make up and hair do with her so you guys can figure out the best hair and make up before the wedding. Also bring a picture of your favorite make up and hair style and she will work with it. She was very responsive and approachable.

On the day of my wedding, she was on time. She also gave me a retouch kit for my hair and make up so I can fix my hair or make up whenever I need to. Thank you for being amazing Shae. I will definitely recommend you with my friends. If I can only bring you with me when I transfer to do my hair and make up for my future events, I will. Take Care.

WOW! Shae was amazing to work with! She was professional and personable at the same time. She showed up early to our hotel and got right to work. She did all 5 of my bridesmaids' and my mother's hair as well as hair and airbrush makeup on myself. She did all this in 5 and a half hours. Everyone's hair was different but beautiful and lasted all night long. My hair and makeup was still flawless when we got back to the hotel room at 2:30 am, even though my wedding day was 95 degrees and I danced all night. She worked so hard to make sure we all looked perfect on my wedding day. I cannot say enough about how awesome she was! Thank you, Shae!

Shaelynn did my (bride) hair and make up, my sister's hair and make up and my mom's make up. She came to the hotel the day of my wedding which was so great. Everyone came out so lovely! I did my trial with her a couple months in advance, and even though I changed my mind on my hair three times the day of the wedding, Shaelynn still ended up fixing it just perfectly; she really ended up getting the look I wanted. Everyone was happy with their services, and the pictures came out great. She was very friendly and professional and an expert. I felt great about trusting her with my big day!

I had already found a makeup artist by the time I found Shaelynn, so I only hired her to do my hair. Besides my makeup artist, all my wedding vendors ended up disappointing me in one way or another, but Shaelynn is the only one who didn't let me down in any way.

She charged reasonable and affordable prices for the trial and the day of, which was a big deal for us because we were on a strict budget. She was willing to travel to my locations, which eased my stress a great deal. She was professional, but also very friendly and personable. She was very prompt in responding to emails, which most of my vendors were not very good at. She was also on time the day of, another thing most of my vendors failed at. Most importantly, she was able to create the exact hairstyles I wanted, which several other hair stylists had failed to do. I couldn't have been happier with her results; she delivered.

She also provided hair removal services for me prior to my big day. I am a wimp when it comes to hair removal, but she was fast and efficient, and made it as painless as humanly possible.

I absolutely LOVED the services Anywhere Beauty by Shae provided for my special day! I found Shaelynn on weddingwire, e-mailed her about 3 months before my wedding date, and heard back from her within an hour. She was so flexible and accommodating! Although she had another big wedding the same day, she never rushed me and truly made me feel so special. I booked her for a trial hair and make-up session and was so shocked at what she was able to create- she took my vision and truly made it come to life! She gave me tips on skincare and other beauty tips to help me look and feel my best leading up to my wedding. She adjusted her trial end up to make it exactly what I wanted. On the day of my wedding, she worked her magic bright and early in the morning and was so personal and cheerful I seriously felt like she was a friend of mine. She was able to add a last minute mother of the bride hair do in with ease and my mom gushed about what she did to her hair as well! She also worked wonders on a four year old flower girl's hair! My make-up was done by air brush and was so light and beautiful throughout my entire wedding day. I never had a problem with shininess nor did I have to touch anything up. My hair was absolutely beautiful and stayed in place through a windy beach wedding. The little goodie bag she provided was such a sweet touch! Shae is flexible, caring, punctual, a miracle worker, and SO talented! I cannot rave enough about Shae!!!

Angela did my Mom's, my maid of honor's and my makeup for my wedding day and we all LOVED the results! She was so fun to work with and she got in touch a few days before the wedding to confirm the details and timeline. Angela also showed up early the day of and made sure we loved our look before moving on to the next person.

I found Shae by googling hair/makeup services after my initial girl fell through. I was worried because of cost but I really wanted my hair/makeup done. When I found Shae, she was incredibly responsive and understood that I was on a budget. She worked with me to make sure she could accommodate what I was looking for in the budget I had. She was absolutely exceptional. I had a few more girls add on to the services day of and she was so professional and did such an amazing job. My hair was beautiful and lasted long into the evening and the makeup definitely stayed in place (no mascara crying). I have a few friends that are getting married soon and I have already suggested they contact Shae. She was truly an incredible hair and makeup stylist and I'm so glad I was able to find her!

Working with Shae was great, she was very laid-back and cared about making sure she gave me that hairstyle and makeup that I wanted. She was also able to fit in two more hairstyles on top of the six she was already doing at the last minute. And most importantly we all looked awesome!

Shaelynn was amazing from start to finish! She responded to emails super quickly and addressed every question I had. I have severe allergies and Shaelynn took the time to research the makeup and check with me to make sure I was comfortable with every product and brand. She took notes and photos at the trial and was able to recreate the look perfectly on my wedding day; it really felt like she was "one of the girls" on the big day. She was calming, professional, and on time. She also did makeup for my mother and 3 bridesmaids.. We all looked amazing! At the end of the night, my makeup still looked fresh and beautiful! I also had a tattoo covered and you would never have known it was there. I couldn't have asked for a better makeup artist!

Shaelynn was very professional, quick to respond to emails, and did a great job with my hair and make up for my wedding. During my trial she took time to understand what I wanted and was able to make changes and adjustments to get it just right. On the day of the wedding she was on time and did hair and make up for myself and multiple bridesmaids. She did a great job and I would recommend her!

I was very pleased with everything! Everyone knows the wedding day is an wonderful but crazy day. I have worked with Shae for years on weddings and knew that I wanted her to do the makeup for my own wedding. I am a makeup artist and wanted to do at least part of mine myself but knew that she'd be the right person to step in and take over if I wasn't able to keep my hands steady. She worked her magic on my bridesmaids and replicated complicated smoky eyes and winged eyeliner perfectly. Everyone looked so beautiful and had a great time hanging out with her. She really is the perfect addition to your wedding day preparation!
