Boudoir Photography

I highly recommend AnyaFoto Photography. I am a shy person that does not show much skin, however she was so kind and helpful to work with, she made me feel so comfortable! I've browsed through a couple of different boudoir photography businesses, but I loved Anya's style and knew I had to book her. The reviews were also 5 stars so I knew I was in good hands. The process is very straight forward, and Anya helps you along the way, guiding you on what to wear and the poses that will look the most flattering. Her studio is very private, in case that is a concern for anyone. On the day of the shoot, we went over all outfit choices, and then had my hair and makeup done while sipping champagne. Before the shoot, I recommend anyone trying to pose in front of a mirror to get an idea of how it looks. Your back and some other muscles may be sore afterwards, but its worth it to get the best poses and shots! By the time we went over the photos, it was so hard to choose just a few so I ended up purchasing a larger sized album. My now husband loves this, and he can look at it whenever he wants. In addition, I didn't realize at the time but doing this photoshoot actually makes you feel empowered and sexy. It really is a confidence boost, and even I can't help but look through the album now and then. I should also mention I have eczema, and I was nervous about my skin in photos, but Anya assured me everything would be fine. The photos came out so beautiful and I almost cried at how pretty I looked (normally I think I look just okay/average and wasn't sure how good I'd look doing this). Trust me, this is an experience I recommend to anyone!

Boudoir Shoot!

Anya’s work is breathtaking—the photos speak for themselves.

I came across Anya by word of mouth from other brides and as soon as I saw some of her work, I knew I just had to book a Boudoir Shoot with her. From our first call together, Anya’s kindness and energy was contagious. On the day of the shoot, she made me feel so comfortable in my own skin within minutes, despite how uncomfortable I felt walking in. Instead of feeling super awkward (like I thought I would feel), I felt so confident and fabulous in the moment—and I like to think some of that self-confidence came with me even after I left.

I was finally able to give my husband the final product the night before our wedding and he absolutely loved it. When I look at these photos, I am so proud of the person I’ve become—me 10 years ago would never believe I would agree to do something like this—and I really don’t think anyone but Anya could’ve captured these photos quite as well as she did. I am beyond thankful!

Anya is amazing

Anya took our one year wedding photos, gown and all. She is so talented, kind and positive and I had the best experience working with her. Anya showed me how pose in my wedding gown, so I would get the best shots! I appreciated her attention to detail and most of all her patience as we included our whole family and our dog. Her photos are amazing. 5 stars all around!!!

Boudoir experience

My shoot with Anya was more than what I expected. My fiancé recommended her to me, and at first, I wasn't that interested. She convinced me to give it a thought, and I'm so glad I did! The sessions are 100 percent private and tailored towards you. They prep you with hair and makeup, offer champagne and robes, and plan out your shoot outfits. The shoot itself was a lot of fun. Anya was super professional and made me feel comfortable. She guided me through poses and gave me tips along the way. The whole experience made me feel confident and sexy! I would recommend this experience to any woman who wants to step out side of their comfort zone and feel sexy in their own skin.

Without a doubt, THE BEST!

If anyone is considering doing a boudoir shoot, you should definitely go see Anya! Anya is the absolute best.
As a plus-size woman, I was very hesitant to even do the photoshoot to begin with but Anya (from the START) eased my troubles and made me so excited.
The day of the photoshoot, Anya and her team were amazing to work with and they made me feel so comfortable and happy in my own skin! I just received my photos back from Anya and I can not get over how amazing they came out.
Anya knows exactly what to do to make you comfortable throughout the session, and the proof of this is in the quality of the pictures.
If even the slightest thought has come across your mind to do a boudoir shoot, you NEED to call Anya! You won't regret it.

Amazing! The best decision!

I wanted to get these photos done, but not just for a wedding gift but also as a celebration of a huge weight loss goal and post skin removal surgery. I was really nervous about this and struggled with even the idea of having to buy lingerie and outfits. I had never been to a lingerie shop and mostly ordered my bras and underwear online. Anya talked me through it and gave me ideas and tips on what to buy. She prepped me and I felt ready to do this despite my nervousness.

The day of the photo shoot, Anya and her staff were amazing and supportive. I arrived late due to a time zone scheduling issue and she was very understanding and calmed me down. She gave me a glass of champagne and her makeup and hair artist got started. When she was done, I looked amazing! I was a little shy at first and Anya talked me through each pose. Gradually I came out of my shell.

When the pictures were ready for viewing, she sat me down to view them to a slide show and I honestly cried. They were better than I have hoped or imagined. I not only felt beautiful and sexy, but I felt that the pictures showed my personality. I had a hard time picking out my favorites.

The album we made was gorgeous and high quality and my fiancé (and now husband) LOVED his wedding gift. I showed a few girlfriends and now they want to do it for their husbands.

If you have any doubts about doing this, call Anya and talk to her. She is the sweetest and will make you feel at ease. She is very professional and does amazing work. I recommend this experience not only to brides as wedding gifts to their partner, but as a gift to themselves. I came out of this experience feeling beautiful and more confident.

The Absolute Best

Anya and her entire team are so extremely talented. My wedding photos are above and beyond what I ever dreamt of. Throughout the entire process leading up to the wedding Anya was thorough, checking in multiple times and discussing the timeline and expectations. Our wedding was on a very windy day and right on the water so could have been challenging but Anya embraced the wind and the photos are truly stunning. Throughout the entire wedding her team was so on top of every detail and so professional. They captured gorgeous moments from the most amazing night and you can truly feel the love in the photos. We couldn't be happier. Highly recommend!

Captured Every Moment Perfectly

Picking Anya to be our photographer for our wedding day was the best decision ever! My husband and I felt that the photographer was super important since pictures would be the main way to remember and relive our wedding day in the future (along with video). The photographer is also the one person that is with you throughout the whole day; while getting ready, getting to your destinations, etc. My husband is also very picky, as he is in the art field and has an eye for photographs. He went through the process of researching and interviewing different photographers and once he found Anya, he knew that she would be the one that could capture our special day for us. When we first video chatted with Anya, we knew we would not be disappointed. She was so bubbly and made you feel so comfortable, as if we had known her forever. She definitely took the time to get to know us, our interests, what our vision was for our wedding day, and so on. She also took the time to explain the different wedding packages that were available, and she was extremely flexible working with us to sub a few things in for things we weren’t as interested in. Her communication, whether in person or through emails/phone calls, was amazing and always got back to us within less than 24 hours of our email. Just less than a year away from our wedding date, we had an engagement session with Anya. After leaving the shoot, we couldn’t wait to see the pictures, and when we got them back, we couldn’t have been happier. There were so many awesome pictures that we couldn’t pick a favorite. About a month prior to the wedding, Anya set up a meeting with me to go over a rough timeline and final details. The rough timeline was a great way to organize all appointment and inform our bridal party when things would be happening, as well as other vendors. Anya was also great to work with when giving her details of specific pictures we wanted, family situations, and how to incorporate everyone into certain pictures. Anya, Rachel, and their assistant Ying were amazing to work with on the day of our wedding. They were there on time, made everyone feel relaxed and comfortable, and had so much fun with all of us! While working with us for photos of the two of us, to photos with our families, and with our bridal party, they did an excellent job at telling everyone how to pose and what to do, as well as finding the best lighting. The team did a great job walking around our houses to find the optimal lighting. They were also great at working in some smaller spaces to get awesome shots. Anya and her team did an awesome job at helping everyone’s poses look and feel natural. They instructed and helped out when someone was position awkwardly or standing funny. They knew how to get everyone’s attention and how to make everyone laugh. They all worked well and were very helpful with our flower girl and ring bearer as well. Having a one year old and two year old “pose” for pictures, definitely is not the easiest thing to do but they made it all work. At one point, Anya had my flower girl on one hip, while taking family pictures! There was also another time when I looked over and saw Ying interacting with the kids, holding them, and occupying them. Anya also did a great job working our dog into some pictures at the church, before heading off to our venue. On the day of the wedding, they posted a few pictures, taken with an iPhone, on their Instagram story. Based off of the quality of those, we cannot wait to see all of the pictures taken with the real cameras! Anya and her team were absolutely incredible to work with and we could not have picked a better group of photographers to work with! They definitely knew how to make everyone smile and feel comfortable. They truly made our wedding day the best day ever! We definitely will be using Anya in the future for other photo shoots!

Anya is amazing!

Anya gave me the wedding experience of a lifetime! She was prompt when she arrived to my mother’s house in the morning. She came with so much energy, which made me even more excited for my big day ahead! She made everyone feel comfortable throughout the day. After the ceremony, we went to Rutgers Gardens, and Anya was able to take all of the beautiful pictures I had envisioned. She kept to her timeline schedule all day, which helped the day run smoothly. Anya was, in a word, incredible. I knew I wanted to do a boudoir shoot before I even got engaged. When it finally happened, I spent a lot of time researching photographers in the area. After stumbling across Anya's portfolio, it wasn't even a question I would want her for my session. She was easy to communicate with and made me feel at ease, even just over email. We booked my session about a year in advance, and she made it a point to stay in touch leading up to the session. When the day finally arrived, it went better than I could have dreamed off. She was warm and welcoming, and she clearly understood what my vision was. I'm naturally pretty uncomfortable around most people, but she made me feel confident, sexy, and beautiful. She got right up there with me, helping me figure out the poses and get the right shot. We just did my viewing session and I was blown away by the images she showed me. If you're considering a boudoir session with Anya, don't even think twice about it. I can guarantee you she will far exceed your expectations.

Anya was absolutely amazing to work with! From our first meeting, she put me completely at ease and made me feel so comfortable, I knew I had to have her capture our special day. On the day, Anya, her assistant, and the second photographer, Rachel, were punctual and made the day run extremely smooth. My favorite part of our entire wedding day was the hour where Anya and Rachel photographed my husband and I. We got married at a country club and they took us around the entire venue/golf course for some great shots (aided by great weather). My husband and I were able to relax and have fun with one another, Anya really makes you feel so at ease. And Rachel was incredibly down to earth and made us laugh frequently. Anya was so professional and had the rest of the pictures running like a well-oiled machine, we finished with time to spare to collect ourselves before the ceremony. Having received the pictures, I am amazed at how much Anya captured. Looking at them was like reliving the entire day all over as she did not miss a single detail. Anya really has a special eye for great shots and lighting. I feel so lucky to have worked with her and to have such beautiful photographs for the future. So grateful to her and her team for capturing such beautiful memories for us!

I got married in December, 2014 in Oxon Hill, Maryland. My husband and I met with two different photographers in the Washington, DC/Maryland area first due to location of the wedding. While these photographers were good, I left the encounters feeling like there was something missing, and I was worried I would somehow be disappointed with the final product.

At the time, I had been following AnyaFoto on Facebook because a college classmate of mine hired her for his wedding and I loved all the photos he shared. During my photographer search in Maryland, I could not stop looking at AnyaFoto's posts on Facebook. Although she was in another state, I decided to give it a shot and schedule a meeting. From the moment I met Anya, I knew my search was over! She is professional, charismatic, patient, and a true artist! Anya was so accommodating when it came to scheduling our engagement shoot in Manhattan (where my husband lived), and did not mind traveling to Maryland for the wedding. She provided excellent direction for posing and made my husband and I feel very comfortable while capturing our special moments.

Yes, AnyaFoto may be more expensive than other photographers you will meet. However, you cannot expect Anya's level of detail at a discount. Her vision for our engagement and wedding photos surpassed our expectations. We could not have been happier with the final product, and I am so glad I listed to my gut and chose AnyaFoto!

My opinion is that the photographer is the most important vendor at a wedding; the flowers will die and the favors will get used or tossed, but the photographs capture one of the most important moments of your life and you will cherish them forever. I highly recommend AnyaFoto!

Our wedding photographs were not something that my husband and I wanted to compromise. Once we met Anya at her studio, we were instantly sold. Anya became apart of our 'team' throughout the entire wedding planning and here we are 4 months after the wedding and we are still in close contact with no plans of ever letting her completely go! :-)

Anya’s studio is welcoming, up-to-date, comfortable, and incredibly professional. She answered all of our questions on the spot and answered emails w/in 24hr! Her company provides a customized personal webpage that you can communicate through as well as view your payments, personal information, photo session dates, etc. For someone as organized as myself and my husband, this was a huge plus.

Over the 16 months of wedding planning, we felt that we were in good hands with Anya... and as it turns out, we were in AMAZINGLY TALENTED hands :-) Anya, Rachel (2nd photographer), and her assistant Ying were so professional, prompt, fun, and interactive on the day of our wedding. They captured everything that we asked for and more. And then, we got a surprise: my husband and I received a 'sneak peak' of Anya's favorite 30 photos from our wedding day while we were on our honeymoon.... less than a week after the wedding!

One *huge* perk with Anya is that she helps you put together your wedding album so you aren't waiting years and years to finally order one (I've heard this time and time again). Anya put together a proposed album for us and gave us 3 rounds of 'drafts' to replace photos, edit photos, move pages around, etc. It's been just 4 months since our wedding and we already have our beautiful leather album, a large canvas of our favorite photo, multiple prints, and the hard drive with all of our digitals!

My husband and I love looking at our wedding pictures to relive the day and we would recommend Anya to anyone! Her work is timeless, classy, and real.

My husband and I knew while vendor searching that we wanted a photographer that was different than the photographers our venue had suggested. Anya was what we were looking for and even more. Her talent is incredible and she is very sweet. We just received our proofs a few weeks ago and each time we look at them, we are amazed! She responds quickly to your emails and we received our proofs in just a few weeks! Everyone was shocked (and jealous) that we had some photos from Anya just 4 days after our wedding and it was on an app so we can show everyone! Our families loved Anya too and her assistants on the day of the wedding were professional and accommodating to all our needs! I have a big family and it was not easy at times to get the bridal party and my family together for photos but Anya was patient and so very kind! Anya photographed a friend's wedding a few years back and although marriage wasn't even a prospect for me at the time, I was impressed by her work and knew that someday she would be my photographer. Anya has a gift and she shares that gift by what she captures on her camera. She knows how to tell you to pose, she creates art in the simplest of backgrounds and captures magic in every photo. She was one of the best decisions we made as far as vendors for our wedding. Professional, down to business and kind. We have received countless compliments on our pictures. My husband and I knew after our first conversation with Anya that she was exactly who wanted to capture our wedding day. Anya and her team were very professional and personable. Anya was great to work with. My husband and I were living 4 hours away from where our wedding was held in New Jersey so we weren't able to interact as much before the big day but she still made us both feel really comfortable from the first look and on. It was great having Anya and her assistant there to capture everything as the night went by so fast. The photos of us and the guests came out beautiful (and I'm not used to liking photos of myself). Anya is great and very personable and most importantly you will love the photos she takes.

When my husband and I got engaged we knew immediately who we wanted to photograph our wedding...ANYA! She was the photographer at my friend's wedding and she was AMAZING! She was very professional, always had the best ideas and during what could be a stressful time had us smiling and laughing. As a couple we felt that the photography is the most important part of the wedding because it's something that you always have that will transport you back to the most special day of your life. Anya is so warm and caring that you would swear you have known her for years after your first meeting. It was definitely easy to put our trust in Anya. One of the first things I did when getting engaged was contact Anya. My cousin had used her for her wedding and stunned me with her photos. When you see other wedding photos you think "oh these are lovely the bride and groom look wonderful" ect. When you see Anya's photos you are floored they put all others to shame and really capture the feeling of the day. Anya sets herself apart from other photographers by being a true artist and professional. Throughout the whole process (which was 2 years) we received the highest attention to detail from our first meeting to the last. We were thrilled with out engagement session as well as the wedding day. It's not just the amazing work but also the way Anya and her staff interact with there clients. Anya, Rachel, and Ying were all wonderful throughout the day. They knew just how to position us and where to find the best lighting. Many of my favorite photos are ones where we are truly laughing. They were nearly invisible throughout the greater part of the day capturing true moments of joy and celebration. The prints from our engagement shoot were also stunning and I am greatly anticipating our album and wedding prints. I recommend Anya to everyone I know and look forward to one day having her do a newborn shoot and christmas pictures when our family grows.

We used Anya for our wedding in April and we couldn't be happier with her work! When we started planning our wedding the most important vendor to me was the photographer. From the day we met with Anya I knew she was the right fit for us. For our engagement shoot Anya did a great job getting us comfortable with taking pictures, which can be awkward at times. On our wedding day she did a great job taking pictures without making us feel overwhelmed. The pictures came out beautiful and we got them so quickly! I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a great photographer who is both fun and professional to work with.

Anya is an incredible photographer. I knew I wanted to book her for my photographer even before I was engaged, so when I went to meet her the choice was easy. Her pictures are AMAZING! not to mention she is incredibly sweet and helpful, and very organized. Brides, definitely take advantage of the boudoir shoot, its amazing and you will LOVE your photos! If you are looking for a wedding photographer - STOP LOOKING! You have found her. Words cannot describe how appreciative we were to have Anya and her team with us on our wedding day. Each member of her team was professional, kind, and unbelievably talented. Our wedding photos were absolutely stunning, and we have received so many positive comments from our friends and family. We continually recommend her to everyone we know, as she did a truly fantastic job. Anya is a delightful person to work with - she lights up the room and naturally relaxes every guest she takes photos of. But aside from her personality, she is also professional, talented, and prepared for anything. In fact, my wedding dress was stained by black oil from the limo, and Anya was prepared with tide-to-go to save the day. I could not recommend Anya and her team more highly. The best word to describe Anya is simply unbelievable! I searched for a wedding photographer for at least a month. Anya was one of the last photographers I met with and as soon as I met her I thought "she's the one". I'm pretty sure I called my fiancé on the way home and told him we have the most perfect photographer. Anya is not only amazing at what she does but she is kind, sweet, and makes you feel so comfortable. Her eye catches amazing moments that only can be explained by looking at her photographs. Along with being easy to work with she is also efficient and easy to contact and communicate with. The day of my wedding I was calm, not only because I was marrying the love of my life but because I knew I had Anya and her team capturing our day. When she arrived the morning of the wedding she got right to work capturing getting ready photos and all the detail shots. Once we arrived at the venue my fiancé and I did our reveal and the photos flowed from there. Anya is so creative and her style of photographer is admirable. She was able to capture every moment I could have wanted and some I didn't even know would make amazing photos. A few days following the wedding I received an email with at least 30 wedding photos already ready to view! They photos are breathtaking and my fiancé and I couldn't be happier. Anya is an amazing person and photographer and I would recommend her to anyone in need of a photographer. She is the best!

Anya is absolutely amazing! She is such a pleasure to work with and her talent and creativity shine through in all of her work. Stunning- Heartfelt- Breathtaking

I cannot even begin to express just how wonderful Anya and her staff were throughout my wedding day. I told my husband when we got engaged that pictures last a lifetime and that when it came time to choose a photographer we needed to find someone who would capture every beautiful moment and make those memories last forever. I had followed Anya for two years prior to getting engaged. Her stunning photos always caught my attention and I knew that if her personality matched her talent, she was the vendor for me!

Anya is one of the most genuine and heartfelt people I had the pleasure of working with throughout my engagement. She was detailed and organized down to the very last component. She explained every step of the process to us as we went and made my husband and I feel so comfortable and taken care of from beginning to end. Her personality is infectious, during the process her enthusiasm was contagious, and on our wedding day her calm and confidence made a world of difference.

Anya’s photos speak for themselves… they are all breathe taking! She knew just how to pose us and just what advice to give to make our wedding photos the most stunning I have ever seen. If you want to look back on the most important day of your life with tears in your eyes and feel as though you are reliving those moments through pictures, Anya is the photographer for you. First our Engagement Pictures Came out amazing!!!!! Thats when we knew that we had picked the correct person for the job...

Finding the perfect photographer for our wedding was one of my top goals. In my opinion, they are the most important vendor you will choose, because there images are what stay with you forever. When I meet Anya I knew she was the one!

On our wedding day we stopped at the Palisades Interstate Park to take some pictures. As we were getting ready to head to the venue Anya stopped us to take a few more shots, she said the lighting was just right and we needed to take advantage of it! The pictures she captured at that time are some of our favorites. Her attention to detail is remarkable. Not only do we have countless, quality shots to choose from for our album, but Anya also delivered a variety of photographic styles. In addition to her talent, she is an amazing person to work with and a wiz when it comes to editing! I would highly recommend her to anyone!

Anya did a wonderful job capturing our special day! She has a great eye and our wedding pictures came out beautiful. Anya was easy to work with and a true professional. She took the time to sit with us and get to know us, which made it that much easier to work with her on the actual day. Package pricing is on the higher end, but the quality of the work is worth the extra investment. I fell in love with Anya's ability to work with light. When we met she was friendly and flexible. She likes to connect with her clients and get to know what you are looking for. I have heard sooo many horror stories from friends who got married in regards to their disappointment with their photographer. It truly was the most important part of my wedding. My then fiance and I drove out to Long Island originally to a very prestigious, well-known photographer only to be greeted very coldly, and the customer service was very poor. We were not even able to meet who was actually going to be the photographer at our wedding. After searching again, we found Anya.... Words cannot begin to describe how AMAZING her work is. She is such a warm, honest person when you first meet her.... she made us feel so comfortable right from the beginning... Her great personality and sense of humor make you feel so at ease even if you are not comfortable taking pictures. Her response time is impeccable! Anya is brilliant. I have been drawn to her work since the first time I viewed one of her images more than 3 years ago, before I was engaged, or shopping for wedding vendors, and I can say that I have always been a fan. Her passion for this work is singular, it is, without a doubt, her calling in life. Anya sees, and uses light in a way that elevates her photography to a higher level. Her technique is flawless, her images are sharp, exposed perfectly, and above all, her desire to make unique photos, drives her to work tirelessly and intensely at producing a product that you will feel is "all yours", and not a copy of recreation of the "standard wedding list". All of these are the reasons, for which, I chose her to photograph my wedding.
I have been fortunate enough to watch Anya work on events and portraiture besides my own wedding. It's hard to describe to you if you have not witnessed it, but Anya is truly an artist. As a professional Graphic Designer/Art Director I knew I was going to be particular when it came to finding a photographer for my wedding. On my initial search I found a sea of individuals who called themselves professional photographer just because they own a fancy camera and have a website, but brides beware, they are not. Anya on the other hand is a true artist and a true professional -- and the nicest girl to boot! She doesn't just take photos, she captures emotions one frame at a time. She knows how to work with beautiful natural light and knows which photos work best in color and which really shine in black and white. Nothing is overly posed or excessively photoshopped. It's these subtle techniques that you might not think matter, but it makes a world of difference in the quality of your photos. For our wedding on 2/22/14, we opted to only have a photographer and no videographer. AnyaFoto was and is amazing to work with. From day 1 of meeting Anya, we knew she was the best choice for our big day, and all special occasions to follow. Her photos are journalistic in nature, and her editing is impeccable. The ambiance she creates with her work matches exactly how we felt on our wedding day. Watching our slideshow after the big day of her favorites was probably the best part. She captured all of the amazing aspects, even once we didn't know were happening!

Our guests even commented on the professionalism of Anya & her team during the event. Although they captured every aspect of the day, they were never in the way, or even noticeable. This is an amazing trait for wedding photographers to have.

We have 0 regrets in regards to choosing only photos. Anya and her team have surpassed our expectations for a wedding photographer, and we cannot wait to see what comes of future photo shoots with her.

There aren't enough words to describe the quality of experience we had with Anyafoto! I had first seen Anya's photos via facebook. I thought they were just stunning. When I got engaged and started to do research, I just couldn't get her images out of my head. I knew within moments of meeting with her, that we just had to have her as our photographer. The entire process she made so simple, easy and FUN. Her work speaks for itself. Absolutely stunning. We chose Anya as our photographer after seeing her amazing work for a friend’s wedding. After working with Anya for our engagement shoot and wedding, we would highly recommend her for any couple that is getting married. She is a true artist in every sense of the word!

We were getting married in Aruba and were initially concerned about how effective any photographer from the NYC area would be in a new destination. Anya spent our first meeting showing us photos from other destination weddings and explaining to us her process for selecting the best spots for pictures so that she would be able to best capture the mood of the day. We spent the rest of the meeting talking about what we liked from other wedding pictures we had seen and what we wanted in our pictures. By the time we left that first meeting, we were both completely confident that we had made the right choice. Anya has a unique way of getting to know each person quickly and understanding exactly what you want out of the experience. It was one of the few parts of the wedding planning process that we never had to worry about.

Working with Anya in Aruba was an absolutely incredible experience. Knowing that it was her first time there, it was amazing to watch her pick out the best spots for pictures. Her professionalism, fun personality and love of what she does is evident every step of the way.

One of the most difficult parts about working with someone as talented as Anya is picking out which pictures you want for your wedding book. It was unbelievable to us when we met after the wedding how perfectly she captured our vision for what we wanted in our pictures. When we showed the finished product to our families, they were literally amazed at how everything turned out. Looking through our book brings us back to all the amazing memories from that day.

I was so completely pleased with Anya’s work!

Initially, I figured I would start off having Anya do an engagement session with us, and then based on what I thought of those pictures, decide on the wedding. Let me tell you, it was a very simple decision to hire her for our wedding. We found the engagement session fun! My husband seemed comfortable having Anya direct him and I which was wonderful. She captured our love and the beautiful Hoboken skyline perfectly.

Like they say, pictures are forever... so I wanted to make sure the photographer we worked with had a good eye and could capture the day in a way that we could look back at the pictures and relive the day again. Anya did just that... and more! Our engagement photos and wedding photos came out B E A U T I F U L!! Even my camera shy husband was comfortable in front of her! Not only is she professional, but she can wrangle rowdy groomsmen and family members when she needs to! Her pictures are classic and she's open to suggestions or photos you want to take. To start I will say that there is only one photographer you need to interview and hire to capture those special moments in your life and it is Anya....Her work is remarkable and you will have a hard time just choosing one photograph that you love. You will love them all.

Our first experience with Anya was for our engagement photos which she made both of us comfortable and relaxed during the whole time, which we thought was going to be impossible because we are not comfortable in front of a camera. But she did a great job and the pictures came out great.

Second experience was the boudoir shoot, which I did as a surprise for my husband, and me being someone who is very self critical about my image I thought it was going to be very hard to have someone photograph me. Anya did everything to make sure I was relaxed and comfortable with the process and her direction was perfect. At the end of the shoot I thought it was going to be hard to find one photo I liked. While reviewing the photos with Anya I not only found one photo I found over 20 that I loved. My husband loved all of them too and was very surprised with the gift.

Third experience of course is the wedding, Anya captured all the special moments and caught the little details that I didn't even tell her about, my dad's name in embroidered in my dress and his picture in the locket on the bouquet and the moments that when captured in a photo speak a thousand words, my mom's face when she saw me getting into my dress for the first time. At the reception you don't even realize she is there capturing all those moments you will cherish for a life time.

My only regret was not getting the package that included having a photographer for life, but I wont let that stop me from hiring her again to capture the next milestone in our lives.

AnyaFoto is very professional, helpful, and gets back to questions asap! We had our first meeting at her studio which is really nice. We got to see a lot of her work and albums which made it an easier to decision to choose her. I really love our wedding album, the photos are very high quality. You get to choose how the pictures are arranged as well. I guess the only thing I regret is I should have talked about how I wanted more creative pictures with the bridal party, more wedding party pictures, and I guess if I wanted pictures with each table. That's the only thing I wish I talked about with Anya. But other than that, I really really LOVE our wedding album! Also during the wedding, she made me feel comfortable posing to pictures. She really knows how to direct to get those awesome shots.

I don't think this review can begin to describe how absolutely incredible Anya is and how highly I recommend her! Of all the decisions we made during the planning of our wedding, the decision to go with Anya as our photographer was BY FAR the best decision we made.

Every detail leading up to and on the day of the wedding was taken care of professionally and with great thought and care. Aside from her wonderful business qualities, Anya is truly a breathtaking artist who captured every moment and emotion of our wedding in such an exquisitely beautiful and elegant way. To say our pictures came back stunningly perfect would be an understatement.

There was no request to great, no issue too big for Anya and her magnificent assistants. On a day where there is so much to think about and organize, I wanted a photographer who was going to take charge to organize and direct not only myself and my husband but the bridal party, family and friends as we decided to take a very large number of group pictures. Anya was there to tilt my chin just right, move my husband’s shoulders just so, assemble and RE-assemble our crazy family and friends to direct us to the perfect shot. She was proactive and creative, thoughtful and wonderfully kind as she captured each picture.

Her efforts were not only appreciated and recognized by myself and husband but nearly EVERY SINGLE guest at our wedding (close to 175 people!) mentioned how impressed they were with Anya and her team throughout the night.

Without a doubt Anya is one of the most incredibly talented photographers and artists I have ever known. We are so grateful that she was there to capture, with such artistry and magnificence, our special day.

Me and my husband picked Anya after seeing her work on her facebook and on her website. We picked a package that includes EG shoot, boudoir, and the actual wedding. We loved all of them!!!! I first did not want to do the boudoir shoot but it came in the package so did it anyway. Buti I'm sooo glad I did it! She made me feel very comfortable, and most of all the photos came out PERFECT! I was a recent bride (7/12/13), and I used AnyaFoto as my photographer. She was an incredible photographer every step of the way. From our engagement photo shoot, to the preparation for our big day, to how she eloquently handled our wedding day, I would recommend her to any bride. What can I say? Anya Roudenko is the best photographer. Period. Hands down amazing. I knew I wanted her as my photographer when I saw her wedding shots on her Facebook page. She did our engagement and wedding photos. During both photo shoots, Anya scoped out all of the places where she thought she could get the best photos and then gave us a lot of instruction (e.g., how to tuck your arms in, where to put your hand, how to smile, etc). Despite the blistering heat, it was fantastic!! She is also one of those photographers that gives you shots from so many different angles too. Anya is agile, so she was on her stomach, in the window frame, wherever she could get the best vantage point for that perfect shot. I was so impressed!

Beyond her actual ability to make photo magic, she is also extremely professional and easy to work with. We knew all of the prices beforehand, so nothing was a surprise. She also contacted us a couple of times before the big day to go over the timeline of events, making sure we had sufficient time for everything. On the day of, she was smiling and excited to be there despite the heat. I couldn't have asked for a better photographer.

We love Anya! My husband and I were married this past January 2013, and we had the pleasure of working with AnyaFoto for both our engagement and wedding photos. Anya is incredibly talented, friendly, easy to work with, and a true professional. From our very first meeting when Anya walked us through all of the possible packages we could choose from to the very last details before, during, and after our wedding, Anya has ensured that all of our needs were met and that we were 100% happy with her work.

Photography for our wedding was a TOP priority -- I (the bride) am an amateur photographer myself and knew that I wanted nothing but the best for our big day. With Anya, we got all we could ask for and more.

The day of our wedding, Anya was everywhere we needed her to be: she got all of our family portraits, shots of every important event during the wedding, and added details that are truly priceless! It was also really important to us that our photographer allow us to just have a good time without being obtrusive. Anya, of course, exceeded our expectations and captured many photos that we were surprised she got because we literally did not even notice her around! One thing we love about Anya – she is not afraid to get on the ground, jump up on a chair, whatever it takes to get the best shot (which unfortunately we can’t say is the case for some other photographers we've seen at other weddings).

Our wedding albums (ours, plus two parent albums) are gorgeous, the books are high quality and the images are breathtaking (so rich, so much detail, the colors are so vivid). Anya is a pro at what she does. She is passionate about her work, and it truly shows. We recommend her wholeheartedly!

These are a few words I will use to to describe the feelings I experience when I look at my engagement and wedding day photos taken by Anya of AnyaFoto. The entire experience from our first consultation till the post-wedding meeting was a lovely experience. Professional? Yes. Personal? Yes? Talented? YES! This describes Anya to a T. She is exactly the person you want by your side on your big day and to have in your life afterwards to capture all of life’s precious moments to come. Anya made us feel so relaxed at our Engagement shoot. My husband wasn’t used to the attention (I am more of a ham) but by the end of the shoot he was totally at ease and was so WOWed with the shots she showed us while we went along. That meant a lot to us – that she was so comfortable! We hired Anya for our Rehearsal Dinner and our Wedding day so having her with us the entire weekend was money well spent and memories well made!! We had a lot of fun with her and it really set the tone. Her second shooter that day, named Natalie was also a pleasure. Both of them were on time, fun, and soothing. Obviously you don’t know what you are getting until your photos are ready and as mentioned there is nothing more I can say to explain these photos except that they are the best I have ever seen.
During the wedding, I couldn’t even tell you they were there. They were so discrete and I was so surprised to see my pictures and think to myself “that happened” Another thing I must add about my photos is all I can focus on is HOW HAPPY and HOW MUCH FUN my husband and I had at our wedding. Anya captured all of that and then some. Everyone is elated, smiling and loving life. Her style of photography is not only creative but it is like a piece of art – her work is so unique and her talent is eminent in each photo – The lighting ….the angles…. everything she uses always seems to creates the perfect shot.

As a professional wedding photographer, I have know Anya as a colleague for a few years. She is a great photographer with a charming personality and is someone I consider myself lucky to have as a friend. I was also lucky to have her document my own wedding day. Anya is exceptionally dedicated to her craft and spends more time learning from others and perfecting her skills than any other photographer I know. This comes though in her exceptional images.

The combination of talent and personality Anya has is not easy to find and was very evident on my wedding day. My wife is beautiful (I know I’m biased) but is not the most comfortable subject in front of the camera. Anya set her completely at ease and was able to capture stunning portraits of the beautiful woman that I fell in love with. As a side note, this is a big part of why I think Anya is quickly becoming one of the best boudoir photographers in the New York City area.

Throughout the rest of the day, Anya quietly and unobtrusively captured the moments, big and small, as they unfolded. We are now left with great images, great memories, and the daunting task of picking images for our album from so many great ones!

We love Anya! This was the second time we hired Anya to take our wedding pictures. My husband and I had two different weddings and the second wedding was a destination wedding in Jamaica. We were so happy with Anya's pictures from the first wedding that bringing her to Jamaica with us was a no brainer! She was worth every penny - our pictures came out amazing! Anya is absolutely amazing. A friend of mine recommended her, and I'm so happy she did. From the moment we met Anya, we knew we wanted to have her do our wedding. I'm not the easiest person to deal with, especially when under stress, and Anya handled my nerves the day of with professionalism and ease. We found Anya through a friend of ours and luckily she was available the day of our event. She was great to work with; she was fun, professional and easy going which is exactly what we wanted. She was punctual the day of the event, as well as, at meetings before and after the event. Most importantly she was patient with us and our guests, small children can be a handful sometimes especially when they don't want to cooperate. I would definitely book her services again and it goes without saying that I would recommend her to my friends and family.

Anya was so amazing. She arrived at the exact time I asked her to arrive. She was very professional and understood exactly what we wanted. We didn't want to miss our entire cocktail hour taking pictures so she was really great with that. We missed 20 mins and was able to attend the rest of the time. The pictures came back really fast and were GORGEOUS! I was so nervous, since they are my wedding pictures, and was so shocked and surprised about the quality and the amount of pictures Anya took at the wedding. We are actually having two weddings to celebrate our two different cultures (I'm Indian, he isn't) and we're so pleased with the way the pictures turned out that we just decided to hire her again for our second wedding. Usually when you get to do something again you learn from the first time and try to do better the next time, right? Well there is no better...we're sticking with Anya. And the wedding is in Jamaica. She's so good, she's worth paying a flight and hotel for.

Anya, thank you for giving us these beautiful memories. My only complaint is the trouble I'm having deciding which ones should go in the album...they're all so good!

Anya is a wonderful photographer. Her photojournalism style truly captures moments and you feel a movement in her photos. Everyone who were part and attended the wedding were amazed at her photos. She takes shots that one would not even imagine of taking and make them look absolutely amazing. I would recommend her to any bride and groom. She is simply magical with her camera :)

Our modern Fairy Tale wedding was planned months in advance down to the finest detail. Being the perfectionist I am, I scoured the internet for photographers that put a modern spin on colorizing and angles, as I really sought an untraditional artist.

When I saw Anya’s website, it was obvious she went far beyond capturing the traditional wedding poses to capturing candid moments and lasting memories.

When we first met her for our engagement session in NYC we had a bunch of ideas, which she improvised and used the scenery around us to create amazing silhouettes. We knew she was special and understood the avant-garde, romantic theme we were trying to create. We received so many compliments from just a few engagement shots we posted for friends/family to view—in fact, some of our very own family members thought it was a picture straight out of a movie! Yes, she’s that good!!

At the wedding, Anya immediately blended in seamlessly to the wedding party and caught every moment flawlessly. She made sure to capture the various settings the venue had to offer and was very responsive to any requests. In addition, she is a pleasure to work with, extremely professional, laid back and flexible. Her pictures more than exceeded our expectations – she has provided us with the gift of her beautiful artworks representing our emotions, memories and Fairy Tale- allowing us to re-live our wedding day moments over and over again.

Anya was the perfect photographer and I would recommend her to anyone! She was extremely organized and we had gone over all of the details and "necessary" photographs before my wedding, so the day of we already knew the order in which things were going to be shot. She also was very creative in the way she shot the photos and had us pose in fun ways. Contrary to many wedding photographers, we were provided with over 1,000 digital photos on a DVD within three weeks of our wedding. To say the quality of them was good is an understatement. They are magazine quality. So far I have had so many compliments, many of which state that my pictures are the best wedding shots they have ever seen. Some photos are so beautiful they have made my eyes water up. I would highly recommend Anya to anyone looking for a great photographer!

Anya was such a pleasure to work with! I couldn't have asked for anything better. Getting my husband to enjoy taking pictures is worth her fee and then some! The photos were so great! She has such an eye for this! We'll be using her for more than wedding photography, we'll use her for everything!

I found Anya to be fun, creative, and uninvasive. She took beautiful, spontaneous shots at my wedding, and i didn't feel like i was being pulled away constantly. She has a unique, artistic eye, and overall i loved that my pictures weren't like typical wedding portraits. My husband and I are both in the arts, and we appreciate pictures that are candid and capture genuine emotion. The posec portraits Anya did take, were artistically rendered and modern. I recommend Anyafoto to anyone getting married, who doesn't want a typical, "boring" wedding album.

Anya captured my wedding beautifully. She took the time to work with
my fiance and myself and to determine exactly what was most important
to us and what we wanted to see in the final product. She has a way of
making everyone feel completely at ease and was able to capture even
the smallest moments that most people didn't even notice and make them
pop. My family was very impressed with her professionalism, but she
also made everything feel so natural and many times we forgot she was
there because she wasn't in our faces the whole day with her camera.

I couldn’t be more pleased with Anya’s work. The emotion that she captures in her photographs is a gift that my husband and I will be able to enjoy over and over for years to come. Anya’s is AMAZING. She is a wonderful photographer and a fun person to have at your wedding. When taking our engagement pictures, she made my husband feel comfortable and at ease (he was very grumpy all day). She gave us cool suggestions on what to do so the pictures would not look too posed. The end result was beautiful and very creative shots. The pictures came out great, we could not be any happier.
Anya also did a wonderful job on our wedding album. She helped me pick out the best pictures and the flow of the album came out perfect. I highly recommend her for any event you are planning.

I absolutely loved my pictures! She was very patient, especially with the bride, and made everyone feel comfortable. We chose Anya after she came highly recommended by close friends, and she once again did an impeccable job for our big day.

She is a consummate professional and has a great eye; capturing beautiful images of both our engagement and wedding day that we will treasure for the rest of our lives and be proud to display in our home.

Anya captured so many magical moments of us and our family and friends. She made us feel at ease at every point of the process, bringing out our inner-models at points and teaching us and our bridal party how to pose like pros!

Despite us having to plan our wedding from the other side of the Atlantic, communication was never an issue. Anya was very accessible and we were able to schedule Skype calls, and communicate over emails when we weren’t in the country.

Anya is kind, incredibly talented and an absolute pleasure to work with. While she may not be the cheapest photographer out there, the quality of her work is well worth it and we would highly recommend her to any couple!

I had many wonderful vendors for my wedding but no one is as involved in the wedding day as the photographer. I knew that is was important to get the best photographer I could find but I didn't truly realize how Anya’s presence would help shape my day, until after my wedding. Her professionalism and organization is consistently top notch, as we had flawless experiences in taking engagement, boudoir, and wedding photos. Her approach is unobtrusive when compared with other wedding photographers who I have found (as a bridesmaid or wedding guest) to be overbearing and detract from the experience. Anya actually adds value to the experience. The quality of her products is just as great as her talent. You will not be disappointed with the experience or the finished products.

Anya is the ideal photographer for a wedding. I knew that I wanted someone competent and professional but I didn't know what other characteristics would make for a good match for me. Anya is young, creative, vibrant, knowledgeable, ridiculously talented and has a great eye. She is über professional and remained on task to ensure she was able to delivere the best shots possible for us. She was completely responsive when we insisted on certain locations within our venue and could readily direct us when necessary. Beyond snapping masterpieces, she was calming when we hit a snafu with the limos and was able to explain the benfits of ceretain makeup options. The end result: my photos were stunning! I could not imagine placing our event in anyone else's hands.

We couldn't have been happier with Anya. We are both so incredibly shy in front of the camera, and have always been very un-photogenic. But she magically made us look like models! We appear totally natural in our posed photos. And although we somewhat dreaded the experience of posing for photos, we had so much fun, and it was because Anyway made it fun and made us relax. During the ceremony and reception we didn't even know she was there. And when it came time to cut the cake, the venue didn't have anyone there to guide us - so Anya quietly told us what to do! We have so many great photos, I can't decide which ones to print - I love so many of them. I guess that's a good problem to have!

Anya and her team were fantastic!! She really captured our essence in the pictures. We were looking for her to capture the romance within our relationship and she truly delivered. Every time we look back on the pictures from that day, we can't help but smile. She is extremely professional and organized. She also make the decision process truly easy for the bride.
