We just recently had our tasting for our special day that will be in September and the food was great! So many options to pick from! The coordinators at JAM go above and beyond to accommodate and be sure your tasting is exactly what you need it to be! -

We absolutely loved having our wedding at AWH. Not only is it a GORGEOUS venue, but the staff is incredible, and the food (through JAM Catering) was exquisite. It rained on our wedding day, and staff made all the last minute changes necessary to se up inside the tent for the ceremony. -

JAM Catering and the entire team at Anthony Wayne House are unbelievable!! Heather showed us around for our initial meeting and made us feel so welcomed! This venue is a hidden gem!! The staff was amazing and went above and beyond the day of our wedding, and not to mention they are all so much fun!!! Lynn was my coordinator and she was absolutely amazing--Heather the assistant coordinator made sure we had everything we needed and is the sweetest human! Lynn made me feel like I was the only Bride she had this wedding season, when in reality she had TONS of weddings -- seriously she had three the weekend we got married! She always answered every question/concern/and even if I just wanted to pop over and look at something. The food was incredible and the venue is just so stunning. I know it's is cliché to say, but JAM and it's staff made our wedding The.Best.Day.Ever!! -

I attended a wedding at the Anthony Wayne House in 2021 and fell in love with the venue. I knew it was a perfect fit for us. Not to mention the food is incredible! -

We are about 6 months into working with AWH for our summer 2022 wedding. The staff has been absolutely professional and helpful in guiding us along the way. Their team provides a ton of detail and is on top of all communications for us. We had the chance to attend a friend's wedding here as well, and they passed with flying colors as a guest (and on the food!). -

Stunning venue
I was so happy we had our wedding at AWH it was a dream come true. All of our guests told us what a beautiful wedding it was and how obsessed they were with the place.
5 years ago I had attended a wedding at Anthony Wayne House and just knew I had to get married there. The whole property is beautiful and it is set up to really accommodate the guests. Cocktail hour was outside and it was gorgeous. The dance floor is huge and so is the bar. Guest were happy because they loved the food and never had to wait for a drink.
JAM catering was amazing. Their food was out of this world! Our favorite hors d’oeuvres were the lamb chops and the scrapple.
Angela DiLella helped us with all things wedding planning for Anthony Wayne house. She was so organized and on top of things. I never felt like I had to keep track or remember details or due dates. She was very informative and helped calm my nerves and stress that I would experience around planning. She also provided suggestions for other vendors- which we ended up loving.
I would Recommend Anthony Wayne house to anyone that wants a scenic somewhat outdoor wedding. The property is beautiful and the team that works there is so helpful. We had the best wedding ever!!! -

Eight weeks before my wedding day, my venue called and told me they would be cancelling on us. My first call after was to AWH and Heather picked up the phone. Like the superhero she is, she had us booked for a new wedding day at AWH within 22 hours - I didn’t even have time to panic before the problem was solved. We managed to plan an entire wedding in less than six weeks, with our “planning” meeting being only 45 minutes long because of how easy she made everything for us! Our wedding came on Sunday with cold temperatures and some rain but I had so much faith in Heather that I was never worried. We had a gorgeous, unbelievable wedding that went off without a hitch. Everyone I spoke to was blown away that together, we had managed to pull off such an incredible wedding, even with all of the challenges. I’ll be grateful for Heather answering the phone forever, and I know someday our children will love to hear the story of our wedding and see the amazing pictures. -

My husband and I got married at the Anthony Wayne House with JAM Catering on August 2, 2019. It was the perfect venue and everything was more than we imagined. The food was delicious and the presentation of the food was gorgeous. Usually I don't remember food when I go to a wedding and this was the opposite. To this day, when my husband and I run into guests, they still talk about the food. Everyone was so easy to work with and it couldn't have been a more perfect day! -

From the moment we set foot at AWH, we knew this was the venue for us - the beauty of the surrounding trees, the stone historic house, the light-filled tent are a perfect blend of nature/rustic and elegance. We love that the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception took place in distinct areas all on the same property. We also can't say enough about JAM Catering, from the deliciously unique farm-to-table style meals and amazing presentation. Julia has been so responsive and attentive as our wedding coordinator, and we are so grateful to her and all of the AWH team to make our day so incredible. -

Anthony Wayne House exceeded all of our expectations, it was beyond beautiful and an absolute dream for our wedding venue. Angela was our wedding coordinator and she was amazing, so helpful, I would not have gotten through planning without her! This venue includes so much natural beauty and makes for such a gorgeous and romantic venue choice. We cannot say enough good things!! -

The venue is beautiful it has so much to offer. Historic tours, fire pit and vintage charm. The staff was great, Barbara our wedding planner was awesome! our guests raved about Jeffery Miller catering and delicious the food was. We could not have picked a better place, we had a beautiful day and would highly recommend this venue 😊🧖🏼♀️ -

The perfect venue
The Anthony Wayne House is the perfect wedding venue. Our coordinator, Lynn, was so helpful and super responsive leading up to our big day. On the day of the wedding, we had two additional captains, Cindy and Heather, who made sure everything ran smoothly and we had everything we needed. The staff was so helpful and fun. The food came our hot and cooked perfectly. We had guests actually licking their plates! We received compliments all night about how amazing everything was. The Anthony Wayne House is the perfect wedding venue. Thank you everyone for our perfect day!! -

Rain or shine, but pray for rain
Since the moment me and my fiancé (now husband!) visited Anthony Wayne House for a tour we knew right away this was going to be our wedding venue. Between the farmhouse tables and the mason jar lights that lined the top of the tent, it had our vibe written all over it. I remember remarking it had an Anthropologie feel to space, with its simplicity but also elegance.
Since we booked, I spent the next 11 months dreaming about walking down to the love of my life at pergola in the open backyard with the lush green trees in the background. Unfortunately, the day of it was raining on and off and the ceremony had to be inside. I have to say, I had a specific vision and when your vision is changed in just moments can be really hard(especially for brides who have given so much thought into it).
Angela calmly took me into the tent where the ceremony was going to be held and showed me how beautiful it was going to be.
I can honestly say, it was the most beautiful sight I’ve ever seen. When I walked down the aisle to the love of my life, the rain was coming down on the tent so gently and created a whole different atmosphere. The guests being inside the tent created a more intimate setting. The tent was open so you could still see the lush greenery in the backdrop. The leaves and trees were rustling giving the whole moment something you would see in a movie.
Booking AWH was the best decision next to saying yes to my husband! No matter the weather, they will go above and beyond to make you the happiest bride on your wedding day.
Thank you to the team at AWH and JAM catering, you guys will always have a special place in my heart! -

I cannot give the Anthony Wayne House staff enough praise! We had the best time working with Angela, Lynn, Lindsay, and Cindy. We knew AWH was our venue the moment we took a tour with Angela, and were so happy to be matched up with Lynn to plan our day. Lynn was absolutely amazing throughout the planning process - she answered all of our questions and really helped us to understand how the day would come together. Lynn is such a calming force that we never once felt overwhelmed or that we had anything to worry about. We met Cindy and Lindsay the day of and had a blast with them! They helped keep everything moving smoothly. Every time we needed either one of them - and before we even realized it - they were already there to take care of everything! We had the best day due to these four amazing women and are so thankful to them and the rest of the staff! Thank you for everything! -

The Anthony Wayne House is a true diamond in the rough. Before selecting the AWH, my fiance and I toured several venues. However, upon touring the AWH, we knew immediately that this is where our wedding needed to happen. Of course we booked immediately. The property is truly a dream come true for a wedding venue, with beautiful flowers, trees, and architecture to compliment the blushing bride. I truly believe that the AWH is one of a kind. They offer a delicious tasting for all of the couples and a day-of coordinator who makes your wedding day a breeze! I would highly recommend Angela and the AWH for a wedding venue, everyone has been a pleasure to work with! -

Anthony Wayne House. Wow. Historical, check. Outdoors, check. Private and accessible, check. My wife and I got married at the Anthony Wayne house on 9-15-2018. We wanted to incorporate the beautiful Fall weather and Autumn trees into our day while still having a rustic feel. This venue was perfect and all our guests raved how authentic and intimate the venue felt. The beautifully lit tree, fire pit and farm-style tables and chairs really gave us the perfect wedding day we wished for. -

AWH is such a beautiful venue. Within minutes of viewing the property, we fell in love and knew this was where we were getting married. We could not be more pleased with how our wedding turned out. As the father of the bride, I wanted the best for my daughter and her man. It could not have been better. The property itself is classic yet very comfortable, and Lynn and Angela looked after every detail so we didn't worry about a thing, allowing us to enjoy the experience rather than fret. The execution was flawless. Additionally, Morby Photography did a terrific job without ever being in the way. Jeffery Miller Catering nailed it. Food terrific and their staff was friendly and professional. Totally pleased with all aspects of an outstanding ceremony and party. -

I could go on and on about how amazing Angela, Lynn, JAM, and The Anthony Wayne House for our wedding day, but I'll try and make this as short and useful as possible!
When we first met Angela two years before our wedding, we instantly knew we were in the hands of a caring professional. We met at a different JAM venue and liked it, but it wasn't a perfect fit for our group. We described to her our vision and she told us that The Anthony Wayne House would be ideal. She was right! We knew within seconds that this was our place. It didn't disappoint! Even on a dreary October day, the AWH glows. Between the tree, the twinkling tent, and sparkling tree, it felt as cheerful and romantic as I could have hoped.
We met our planner Lynn at the tasting. We loved the food immediately and grew to know we could depend on Lynn for anything. She gave us fantastic advice each step of the planning process, constantly keeping our budget and vision in mind. I really appreciate that no one pushed to upsell us. The AWH was wayyyyy over budget for us and they respected that and did everything within our limits to make it feel like we could still achieve a dream day. That's really unique in the wedding world, which constantly made me feel like being a bride-on-a-budget was a burden.
Our guests RAVED about the food; we served chicken pad thai and braised short rib. We loved that it was BYOB. The service was impeccable. My husband and I have both worked for restaurants and caters for a combined decade and have high standards for hospitality, but every expectation was exceeded.
The best thing about our day is that I could enjoy it. I am a bit Type-A, am used to being in control, and am particular about how things are done (especially when I'm spending more money than we'd ever imagined). But I went into the wedding weekend feeling 1000% confident that everything would go right, because the AWH staff and JAM are such pros, and because Lynn and Angela constantly assured us it was all taken care of. It was an incredibly unique and magical feeling to wake up on my wedding morning and not have one concern. I knew it would be perfect and it was. I actually got to be in the moment, knowing that if there were an issue, Lynn would solve it. This is an absolutely priceless feeling and even though it'll take us about 3 years to pay off the expenses, I feel it was SO worth it, because if we had spent less but I had to spend the whole day feeling like I had to be in control or I had to fix things, all of the costs would have been a waste.
Not one cent was wasted on this wonderful experience. I am so thrilled we chose The Anthony Wayne House and had Angela and Lynn to give us the BEST day of our lives. It was beautiful, personal, and easy.
On a side note, we also had fantastic experiences with Tom at Buttercup Flowers, Mike Morby of Morby Photography, and hair/makeup at Platinum Salon.
We had a decent experience at the Desmond Malvern - now a DoubleTree (horrible planning experience but good weekend experience), and a terrible terrible terrible experience at Twenty9 Restaurant from planning to our disaster of a rehearsal dinner.
After attending 20 weddings and being in 8, I have no doubt that The Anthony Wayne House with Lynn and Angela was absolutely the most incredibly experience for our wedding day. -

My husband and I had our Sept 2018 wedding at AWH; we actually booked this venue sight unseen and we are SO GLAD we did! AWH is a beautiful venue that fit our personalities perfectly. Angela, Lynn, Cindy and team from JAM were amazing the entire time planning and especially on the big day itself. We couldn't have asked for more attentive/friendly service, and delicious food! Our guests are still talking about what a beautiful location this was, and how great the food tasted! Would highly recommend this venue! -

Fantastic job done by all!!
The Anthony Wayne house was the perfect Venus for us!! Angela was fantastic with getting us all the details and adding her special touch to make the tent look amazing! Dan and I knew this was the perfect venue as soon as we walked in. The grounds were beautiful, the tent was stunning and the food was fantastic!
The one thing you can’t control is the weather and it happened to rain all day and night on our wedding day. That being said the cocktail hour that wa sorigionally supposed to be outside was moved into the house. Our guests loved it, saying that being in a smaller space (vs. the sprawling lawn outside) presented opportunities to start conversations with people that might not have otherwise met.
The food was amazing! We served the gazpacho, brisket and salmon with a lemon cake and raspberry filling. The cake being included in the fee was great and another thing we could check off the long list of wedding to-do’s.
Overall, I wouldn’t change a thing at The Anthony Wayne House! It was PERFECT! -

I am so excited to say that I will be getting married at Anthony Wayne House this summer 2022. So far, the experience working with this venue has been absolutely wonderful! The event coordinators have been so communicative, clear, and full of great creative ideas for us! They are also kind enough to give recommendations for photographers, DJs, etc. so make vendor selection easier. We are counting down the days until our wedding and are so excited to celebrate at this gorgeous historical venue!
