Cherise is WONDERFUL. From the get go she was so sweet and helpful. Before we booked her as our officiant we chatted on the phone, and I could tell right away from her personality that she would do an amazing job. She sent us some questionnaires to help get to know us and figure out what we would want to include in our ceremony. She also helped us know where to get our marriage license and what to expect with that process.
The day of our elopement we were running a bit behind schedule, but Cherise was super patient and understanding. The ceremony she put together was absolutely PERFECT, there was not a single word I would change. It included sweet tidbits about our relationship (and our cats), written sooo eloquently! I'm a wedding photographer so I attend a lot of ceremonies, but I have never heard a ceremony so well done as the one Cherise wrote for us. It was so beautiful and personal, it was so special to us. After our wedding day was over, my husband and I both said our ceremony was our favorite part of the day.
I can’t recommend her enough- book her, you will not be disappointed!

We hired Cherise to officiate our April 2026 wedding, and we are so incredibly grateful we did! From the very beginning, she was so kind, communicative, and really made us feel taken care of both leading up to the big day and on the wedding day itself. She worked closely with us to ensure the ceremony was exactly what we wanted, and the words she spoke were absolutely beautiful and felt so completely "us." Dreams come true
Cherise was an absolute gem to work with! She really made it magical with less than a week to prep for us. She kept things well organized, choreographed and outright a dream come true. She was well organized, prompt and flexible. Being there for us when we needed to lean on her for guidance and input thru and thru. Would highly recommended Cherise to any couple out there! -

My partner of 6 years and I decide to get married. We are both in our 70’s and just wanted something informal and easy. We looked online and found Cherise with Another One Ties the Knot. She offered a Sign and Celebrate ceremony that was exactly what we were looking for. She was so easy to work with and when the day came she did an amazing job. Even though she had not met us prior to the signing ceremony, the vows she read for us fit us so perfectly we were blown away. Her studio is very well done, is set up nicely for a small gathering of family/friends and great for photos. We enjoyed working with her and she made our special day all the more special. We highly recommend her as an officiant & would give her more stars if we could. -

It's hard to put into words how incredible Cherise is. Working with her as our officiant was such a wonderful experience.
From the very beginning she was caring, thoughtful and made the process so incredibly easy. And it just kept getting better. The option to do private vows and shared vows before and during the ceremony made the day that much more special.
But wow, the love story she wrote and shared during the ceremony before our vows made both of us cry after reading it. It was as if she'd known us for years. It was simply beautiful. And her ability to connect with people is truly special, so to say she's the best is an understatement. Thank you Cherise for being a part of such an important and amazing day for Kathy and I. We'll always look back on our wedding day and say, Cherise is just awesome! Thank you!!! -

Cherise was a true delight to work with and was an absolutely amazing officiant for our wedding. The planning process she went through with us was awesome, she listened to our questions and concerns and helped us craft the ceremony we wanted. Working with Cherise was an absolute pleasure. As a fellow wedding industry professional, it was super important to me to hire someone who I enjoy working with and this lady is IT!
The script was personalized, beautiful and spoke like the poet she is. Multiple guests commented on how wonderful her words were. We were also pleasantly surprised to receive the ceremony script on paper as memento to cherish and reflect on.

Cherise was an absolute delight to work with as our wedding officiant. From our very first meeting, she put us at ease with her warm and welcoming personality. She took the time to get to know us as a couple and crafted a custom ceremony that perfectly captured our love story.
On the day of the wedding, Cherise arrived on-time and was a calming presence as we went through final preparations. Her delivery of our short ceremony was heartfelt.

Cherise made our ceremony one to remember - she worked with me from the greeting to the big day - and never made me feel rushed or a burden! (I may have been a little email happy for a bit there)
She incorporated our story, humor and sass and of course a bit of geek into our ceremony - and was more than happy to work with my best friend (and a maid of honor) to do a handfasting as well ^-^
She helped with timing and vow writing and even managed to print them out for us day of because we forgot to!
5 stars is not enough - 100/10 - hands down would recommend again and again.
We cannot thank you enough - and apricate everything you've done!!!

Cherise is wonderful! We went with her Perfectly Personalized Ceremony, and it was just that - perfectly personalized. While we did not want to write our own vows, the ceremony felt very personal to us. We got to choose from a selection of vows to share. Cherise wrote a beautiful ceremony script telling our love story. I also asked if the ceremony could honor my mom, who has passed, and Cherise did so very eloquently. Overall, the ceremony was exactly what we were looking for - short and sweet and beautiful. She is very organized, professional, and kind. Thank you Cherise! Would highly recommend. -

Cherise was wonderful! During our initial consultation call, I remember feeling even more excited to get married! I could tell she was so passionate about being an officiant, and it came through in everything she did. She was easy to talk to, very understanding, and held our hands through it all in a very supportive while also relaxed sort of way. The script she wrote for our ceremony had the perfect amount of details and personalized touches to it. She exudes a level of love and warmth and I am so happy that she was there for our special day. -

Cherise is an exceptional officiant, fantastic orator and beautiful human. She took the time to know more about us, dialing into our personalities assembling words to beautifully meet the spirit of our wedding ceremony. Cherise was very communicative, fast to respond and genuinely helpful and kind. We filled out a questionnaire, had a video meet and a phone chat before the ceremony to make sure everything was perfect. She gave clear instructions and timely email reminders to keep us on track to apply for our marriage license; payment was simple and easy through her website. Cherise suggested a ring warming for our small intimate group of 20 guests which we absolutely loved! We highly recommend Cherise and we’re grateful and honored that she officiated ours. Cherise was actually recommended to us by another officiant we reached out to on Wedding Wire, who wasn't available for our date. Initially, my uncle was going to be our officiant (he's a pastor), but he couldn't travel to Seattle, WA. So we did what a lot of other couples do, and we turned to Wedding Wire and The Knot for a list of officiants. We reached out to a handful that we liked and met with a few, but hands down, Cherise was by far the coolest, the most caring, understanding, communicative, and helpful. She genuinely wanted to get to know us and felt like this bright, warm, knowledgeable, and funny friend we'd known for years. After our consultation, we didn't even want to meet with anyone else (lol). We did, but it was unanimously clear she was the best choice. We're so glad we did too. She was helpful every step of the way, easing our fears, and confusion around how ceremonies are "supposed to go." She really wanted to tell our love story and make it a cool, modern, and relaxed ceremony. It wasn't stuffy (I did not want a stuffy ceremony), and it wasn't dragged on (I did not want a 45-minute ceremony; honestly, ours was probably 15 minutes, and it was perfect, especially because half of our guests had to sit in the hot sun). She also attended our rehearsal and helped us navigate that really well. She's VERY experienced and very fun to work with. We didn't want a very religious ceremony, but we weren't anti-religion either, so she kept it right in that sweet spot where it didn't offend ANYBODY. I even wrote her a message about some of the things I wanted her to say, and she said it verbatim. I thanked her for that, and she said, "If a couple tells me something they want said, I'm not going to change it thinking I can write it better than them." It was perfect. She added her own words to the ceremony as well that fit just right. She stepped out of the way before pronouncing us husband and wife, so she wasn't in the photo for the first kiss too. We got several compliments on her as our officiant (and my friends and family have no problems telling me how they really feel about something). She did a great job, and I definitely recommend her if you want the kind of ceremony we did. Thank you again, Cherise. Hopefully, we will work together on a different wedding soon (we're musicians [we co-run The Afterparty Band in Seattle], so we perform for a lot of weddings). :-)

A wonderful experience
We can’t say enough amazing things about our experience with Cherise. We were a tough couple to work with being that we had to make many unforeseen changes to our wedding day, literally up until the last minute. Not only was Cherise flexible and kind throughout the process.. she never showed any stress or frustration by any of the changes. She also went above and beyond for us in recommending other avenues when ours kept falling through. She has the most calming presence about her which we noticed right from our initial phone call. She wrote the most beautiful ceremony for us. It was thoughtful, funny, genuine, emotional and most importantly, true to us as a couple. Our families from out of town RAVED about her afterwords. She even made my dad tear up, which is a big deal. Cherise made our ceremony so special. Truly the best officiant ever! Thank you, Cherise!!

Cherise is amazing! She kept in communication with us from the time we booked and post-wedding with helpful reminders and tips, which was very helpful. The ceremony was perfect and she customized her pieces to include stories we had shared and our fur babies! She also told us about a really fun way to seal our ceremony with a shot, which our guests and wedding party loved. We received so many compliments after the wedding as well on the ceremony with folks specifically asking about Cherise! 10/10 would recommend! -

Cherise was the perfect officiant for our wedding. She was extremely responsive throughout the process leading up to the event, and she takes time to learn about the couple and incorporate tons of personalization into the ceremony, including understanding things that you don’t want or like in weddings and making sure to stay away from those topics or language. Cherise was very attentive to how I wanted the tone and structure of the ceremony to go and executed it perfectly. The script she prepared was highly personalized, lighthearted and positive- and she left a beautifully printed copy of the ceremony script with us after, which was such a sweet touch. After the wedding, completing and signing the marriage license was seamless. I would 100% recommend Cherise / Another One Ties the Knot! -

We absolutely adore Cherise!! the two of us are wedding photographers as well so we heard amazing things about her before officially meeting. we watched her work at a wedding we shot for and were just blown away by her professionalism, yet she was so comfortable and friendly! after meeting over the phone, we knew she would be a perfect fit for our intimate elopement since we always told ourselves we wanted vendors that felt like friends and family — and she totally did :) Cherise was there every step of the way offering advice + tips and made us feel like we made the right choice over and over. we told her “it would have been awkward with anyone else” and it still stands haha. my husband and i wrote our own vows but her personal touches she put in for us really made us feel like she got to know our relationship thoroughly!

We were so happy with our decision to hire Cherise from beginning to end. Not only was she communicative, prompt, and professional, but also a really kind and cool person as well. She requested details about our relationship to put something together for us (since we did our private vows separate from the ceremony), and what she came up was extremely beautiful and personalized. She touched on the things that were important to us as a couple and knew exactly when to add in a touch of humor as well. My husband and I are very introverted people, so having an officiant who could put us at ease was really important to us, and Cherise succeeded at this a million time over. Definitely hire her if you need an officiant and want to be able to relax and trust in your vendor, but don’t hesitate because I’m sure she books up quickly! -

We follow Cherise on Instagram, drooling over her beautiful stories with all those lovely couples so when we had an opportunity to have Cherise officiate our elopement ceremony at the Micro Venue - YES - of course it had to happen!! Cherise was absolutely amazing, from the beginning of our initial phone I knew I would love her! During the whole.process I told her my vision, incorporated our love story and it was everything. The moment we had our initial consultation with Cherise we knew she was the one we wanted to have officiate our elopement ceremony. She is so sweet, caring, professional and super responsive. She made us feel at ease throughout the whole process. Also, she was super willing to drive to our ceremony out in Olympic National Park.

Cherise was an absolute pleasure to have at our elopement! We are not really a cheesy couple who are into sappy vows and she made our vows so sweet, personal, and fun. Not only is she an amazing officiant but she is funny and such a fun person to be around–she hiked up with us for our elopement and we all had a great time! We wanted our elopement to be lighthearted and fun and that's exactly what Cherise did with our vows and her presence and I loved that she gave us a card with our written vows that I can keep forever! -

Best Day Ever!
I'm so thankful for Cherise! Our initial officiant wasn't able to make it, so we contacted Cherise a couple weeks before our elopement. She was able to accommodate us last minute and travel to the Mt. Rainier area. She was very easy and great to work with! I knew it was a great fit when we connected over our love of the Rush Hour movie series! Even though we had only messaged each other via email a couple of times, I feel that she got to know my husband and I very well. This was evident as she spoke during the ceremony. Her words were perfect and fitting for our elopement! I know we were a bit off schedule, but I'm thankful that she was flexible and accommodating. I highly recommend Cherise. Cherise was absolutely amazing. She was easy to talk to and get to know virtually. She made our ceremony unique by the special sweet words she said. Cherise is great! She was flexible when our date shifted and she provided helpful examples of vows and ring exchanges for us to choose from (or create our own).
