We couldn’t be happier with our wedding photos! From the moment I saw Annie’s work on Facebook, we knew she was the perfect choice to capture our special day. She has an incredible talent for not only taking stunning photos but also truly capturing the essence of our relationship.
What I loved most about her work was how effortlessly she documented the real, candid moments—nothing felt staged, yet every photo was absolutely perfect. The way she caught our laughter, the little glances, and the raw emotions of the day is something we will cherish forever. Looking through our photos, we don’t just see beautiful images—we see us.
Beyond her talent, she was a joy to work with—professional, kind, and made us feel completely at ease in front of the camera. If you’re looking for a photographer who will give you more than just pictures, but genuine memories frozen in time. We can’t recommend her enough!

Annie was my photographer for my wedding on September 1st, 2024. We are so OBSESSED with our photos!! Annie also did family photos the day before the wedding and they turned out so good! My husband and I have large families who are a little hard to reign in, however Annie and Judy were so efficient and so good at keeping everyone in line, while also having fun with us all. The entire experience felt so personal, it did not feel like they were just doing a job, they felt like a part of our day!! Our photos captured our day so perfectly, every time we look at them, it just takes us back and we get to relive the best day ever all over again. Her editing aesthetic is also so warm, inviting, and natural. I would recommend her time and time again!! -

If you need a photographer in the low country, Annie is your girl! She was super responsive, flexible, and patient with me every step of the way (choosing vendors, wedding planning, the big day, and returning our photos). Everyone in our wedding party loved her (and her second shooter, Judy)! Not to mention, the photos are perfect (and plentiful!) Highly recommend! -

I could not imagine having any other photographer for my wedding day! Annie was the most kind photographer. She made my husband and I so comfortable when we are both naturally shy around a camera. The way that she works with you, gives suggestions and takes all of your opinions into account was amazing. I am truly obsessed with every photo we got back. There is such a great mix of planned photos and candid photos of the ceremony, reception and dances. I will cherish the photos that Annie took for the rest of my life! I would absolutely recommend Annie to everyone. -

Annie was great! She was super communicative and professional leading up to and on our big day! Her assistant was incredibly sweet too! The only thing we are slightly disappointed about is that we didn't get any close-ups of our first kiss and the ones that we do have are slightly off-center and our minister is in the back. Other than that, we are extremely happy with everything from Annie! She was even able to capture some "old Hollywood" type photos, which is what I really wanted! We would definitely recommend her for your wedding. -

I found Annie on Instagram via a deep search for Hilton Head wedding photographers. Annie was SO kind, professional, and clearly talented with our group of people who don't know what to do in front of the camera! She was the perfect photographer for our small intimate beach wedding. I hadn't been formally photographed since my senior pictures so I don't model naturally, but Annie told my husband and I how to pose/what to do for each photo and it was so fun and such a breeze. The photos blew us and family away, and we received endless compliments on them. She also has such a knack for capturing those precious candid moments of family and guests. She was a great communicator before, during, and after the process. We will cherish these photos forever and plan to book Annie for a first family session after our son arrives this Spring. -

Best Photographer!!
Annie is the BEST. She has the type of warm personality where you feel like you’ve known her for years. This made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera which turned the potential stress of taking photos into such a fun experience for us. She went above and beyond to make sure we got the shots that we wanted, even going so far as to driving me to the winery herself! We are blown away with how they turned out and couldn’t recommend her more!! -

I am convinced that I found the best of the best photographer in all of the Atascadero/SLO area. Annie is such a talented, professional, and incredibly sweet photographer. From the first initial phone call I knew she would do a fabulous job. I am a very A type person and she was able to handle all my constant emails and questions with such grace. She took in my vision and plan for the day and completely ran with it so I didn't have to worry about anything on the day of. From the moment I got in my dress, she was on top of it. She was able to style me and all my friends and family easily while keeping the atmosphere a fun and positive experience. I felt so comfortable being in front of the camera with her behind it. She took every shot I specifically wanted while also capturing all the standard family and event photos. When it came time for sunset photos, I had forgotten to grab my bouquet and she SPRINTED down the hill to go grab it for me. She really will go all out for you and your photos. Jill was our second shooter and she was fabulous as well. I'd recommend booking Annie for 8 hours with Jill and the engagement photo session. All of those pieces lined up to get the perfect day captured. I cannot thank her enough for how amazing she did and how breathtaking the photos are. You cannot go wrong with booking her! -

Annie was literally the best! We chose her to shoot our wedding and engagement photos based on her experience and overall professional attitude. We were pretty nervous about the engagement shoot because we’ve never gotten professional pictures done but she made us feel right at home. We were laughing and running and jumping and having the best time. We even forgot we were taking pictures, we were having so much fun. She knew all the best shots and backdrops to take us to making the whole thing very low stress for us. We got our sneak peak pictures super fast and the final ones less than a week later. We are so happy with them and they are now our favorite possessions (we are scrapbookers). We can not wait for our big day and feel super confident in her abilities. If you are looking for a photographer my fiance and I highly recommend Annie Hock! -

Annie captured our wedding day so beautifully! Annie actually made it fun to take photos. She made us feel so comfortable and relaxed during one of the most stressful days of our lives! Annie is so good at listening to what her clients want and she was happy to try all of the crazy Pinterest poses I suggested. Hire this girl, she will make your wedding day so much easier! Also, listen to her when she wants to pull you aside to do sunset photos because they are breathtaking. -

I cannot recommend Annie enough! Not only is she personable, professional and easy to work with, but she is excellent at her trade. Both I and my spouse felt she captured our personalities and partnership accurately and artfully in our engagement and wedding photos. She helped us feel comfortable posing (both of us are unaccustomed to having our pictures taken professionally) and had great suggestions while also welcoming ours. Additionally, since we had a small COVID wedding (only 20 guests), having quality wedding photos ended up being really important, so we could share them with family and friends whom we were unable to share the day with. I am grateful we got to send them Annie's photos. My family who could not attend told me they looked over the images again and again.
Finally, in addition to providing quality work, Annie was also flexible with our schedule. Engaged in Oct 2020, Lucas and I decided in Nov 2020 to move our wedding date from March/April 2021 to Jan 2021. I quickly contacted Annie about doing engagement photos, and she was very accommodating, shooting our engagement photos in early Dec 2020 and then our wedding photos Jan 2, 2021. She also has a quick turn-around time for sending back the edited photos. I was impressed with how soon we had the pleasure of going through our photos after our engagement session and after our wedding! -

Annie captured our day with more than just photos. Her gallery makes us relive our wedding day every time we look at them. The emotion of the day. The joy we felt. The gorgeous sunset. The warmth of summer.
Annie was also a calming presence when nerves were running high. And she always had a smile on her face. All of our guests commented on how great of a job she did on the day, but also on the end product quality.
I would recommend her to anyone looking for professional photography to capture important moments. -

All of our pictures from our engagement shoot and wedding (even thought they were very different vibes -beach & moody, summer and bright) came out so amazing!! Would 10/10 recommend her services. -

Annie is an artist! Skillful, visionary, technical, and intimate. When we decided to have a destination wedding in Mexico, I knew having Annie there was a top priority, and I’m so grateful she said, “yes!” I’ve worked with Annie on yoga photos and art projects, so I trusted her to shoot our wedding, but she exceeded my expectations with how she playfully and confidently worked the crowd. Everyone loved her energy—and especially her beautiful photography! It feels so special to see our love captured in intimate vignettes and fun group moments (dancing, swimming in a Cenote, pop-up photo booth wall, beach reception toasts, etc). I especially loved our “Day After” sexy photos where she captured mine and Ryan’s connection in a secluded palm groove and in the waves! Delightful and sensual! She’s game to make dreams come true! I cannot recommend her enough! -

We love our photos!
My husband and I are thrilled with every one of our wedding photos. Annie did an excellent job, both day-of and with editing. All of my friends kept saying how wonderful she is and how she felt like another friend/guest attending the wedding. She also knew that our couple photos were our priority and when our families tried to dominate the photo time, she stepped in to protect our wishes. The photos turned out beautifully.
Choosing a photographer was one of the most important aspects of planning to me and my husband, as it is the one thing you get to keep when the day is done. Annie also offered us a package that fit perfectly with our tight budget. We are completely satisfied with our choice in trusting Annie, and recommend her without reservation. -

Last winter we were planning our elopement ceremony and envisioned a private but laid back ceremony in a beautiful natural setting. We knew we wanted a photographer, but knew we needed to find someone who would be fun to work with and also capture our sense of adventure and spontaneity. Annie was the perfect person. She was not only a responsive, professional and talented photographer, but she also brought her own creative ideas and selected a great setting for our pre-ceremony shoot. Sharing wedding photos with family and friends is a big deal when you’ve eloped, and we mean it when we say people can’t get enough of looking at our wedding pictures.
