I hardly know where to begin to express how much my husband and I loved working with Anne. Anne is not only amazing to work with, she also delivers the most STUNNING images. My husband and I found her through our venue's recommended vendors list and right from the get-go Anne was cheery, open, and warm. We instantly felt comfortable with her; I had minimal experience posing for the camera and my husband had none, but Anne made the whole process so fun and smooth we barely realized our photos were being taken.
She does a wonderful job of doing a mix of posed and candid photos, capturing natural emotions effortlessly and authentically (the way she captured our connection in every moment of our wedding day?? I can't stop looking at those beautiful moments). Both our engagement photos and our wedding gallery are so stunning; we're struggling to figure out which images will be printed and framed because we have so many favorites.
We're going to treasure these photos for the rest of our lives. We can't wait to work with Anne again down the road - if you're thinking of hiring her, DO IT!! -

We absolutely loved working with Anne and would recommend her 1000%. From the beginning of our experience working with her, to engagement photos, to wedding planning, to the wedding day, she made us feel valued, understood for our unique relationship, and at ease. She is a great communicator. We had so much fun being photographed by her. Anne was wonderful working with other vendors and our family and friends and everyone keeps commenting on how much they loved her. By the end of our wedding she felt like a close friend and cheerleader for us! Anne’s work is absolutely gorgeous and the photos came out better than we could have ever imagined. She is extremely talented. We would recommend her to anyone and especially to our loved ones! -

Working alongside Anne at a recent weddings was a dream. Their eye for detail is simply unmatched, and every shot feels like a work of art. As a wedding florist, I’m always eager to see how the floral arrangements will be captured—and Anne captured every bloom beautifully! Their ability to beautifully compose the flowers within the greater story of the day is nothing short of magic. Every image feels like a timeless painting, capturing not only the beauty of the couple but also the vibrancy and life of the decor.
On top of their immense talent, they are an absolute joy to collaborate with—kind, patient, and wonderfully creative. I am in awe of how they manage to turn fleeting moments into lasting memories.

The BEST!!!!!!!
I honestly don't even know where to start on all the amazing things about working with Anne. Beyond the fact that her photos are simply magical, she is also the kindest, most passionate individual and her love for photography and her work is infectious. We have shot pictures with Anne multiple times and she is always so much fun to work with. On our wedding day I was so grateful to work with someone who had such a calm, kind demeanor. She made the planning process easy and answered any questions we had (even if they weren't strictly photo questions). We have gotten some sneak peak photos that are beyond incredible and I cannot wait to see the full album! I would highly recommend Anne for any of your photography needs. -

Anne is the absolute best!!
Anne is the absolute best photographer to have with you on your wedding day. She made us feel so relaxed, as if she was a close friend just hanging out with us. She was extremely organized, patient, and calm! We are obsessed with our photos and will cherish them forever. Couldn't recommend her enough!!

Dream photos!
Anne is the most talented photographer - it's like she could see the vision I had for our wedding in my mind and perfectly recreated it. From my first look at her portfolio, I knew she would be incredible but the final shots still make me cry. She is SO fun, sweet and an absolute dream to work with. Anne is the best!! A joy to have on your wedding day!!
Anne was truly amazing!! She took my husband and I's engagement and wedding photos (as part of one of her packages). She is truly terrific - she captures incredible photos that you can feel like ourselves and you can really feel the emotion in. On top of that she brings such an awesome presence to the day - celebratory, encouraging, bubbly. It is definitely the kind of vibe you want on your wedding day. My bridal party and friends raved about her. Additionally, she helps you develop a timeline, answer allll the questions, and is so professional. 10/10 experience working with Anne - highly recommend her! The photos she delivered will truly be treasured forever!! -

Anne was absolutely incredible to work with. We had so much fun during our engagement shoot last year, and had been looking forward to working with her again on our wedding day! Everything was absolutely perfect - Anne bopped around while we were getting ready between the bridal suite and groomsmen's suite. She is so calm/has such a positive demeanor that I didn't even know that the guys were running behind until my husband told me a few days later! We did a first look before the ceremony, which was SO special - Anne captured the most beautiful photos, while somehow staying at a distance to let us have our "moment". She made the wedding party photos so much fun, and was patient after the ceremony while we struggled to wrangle our families for portraits. The rest of the day was a fast-paced blur for us - but we've gotten a few sneak peeks and cannot wait to re-live our wedding day through the rest of the photos! ANNE - THANK YOU SO MUCH! Working with you was SO special and we feel so lucky that you were part of our big day! -

We just received our wedding album from Anne, and where do I start?
Anne has been incredible since the moment we met her at my brother in law's wedding. She made two self described awkward people feel so comfortable in front of a camera on that day, we knew we had to have her when we got married. On our wedding day, it was POURING outside, literally 100% chance of rain all day. Anne somehow found a way to take gorgeous photos of us, even while she was getting soaked. You cannot tell AT ALL in our photos that the weather was terrible. Also- I am someone who scrutinizes every photo of myself. With our wedding album, I literally cannot narrow even just the portraits down to my favorites that will fit on our wall (I'm not joking, it took me over 6 hours to pick 14). When my bridesmaids and I were getting ready- it honestly felt like Anne was one of the girls with us- and it just added to the fun. Lastly, and perhaps most importantly, Anne truly captured our personalities. I am laughing in 90% of the photos- which mirrors my real life perfectly. Everyone who has seen the album has said the same thing, "that is so YOU, you are radiating happiness". Is there any better compliment on your wedding album? I think not.

From the moment we met Anne via facetime, it was abundantly clear she was something special. Her communication leading up to our big day was the perfect blend of professional and personable, and having her capture our wedding day is one of the best decisions we made.
Not only does Anne take incredibly beautiful photos, but she is also the BEST personality to have on your side during wedding planning and wedding day. We felt completely comfortable sharing every intimate moment with her, sharing laughs, corralling our crazy families, making last minute adjustments - everything went off without a hitch in large part due to all of Anne's skill and hard work.
We are absolutely in awe of our wedding album and cannot stop looking at our photos!! Anne truly captured the essence of our day in every way: all the weird, wonderful, beautiful, funny, phenomenal moments. These are photos we will treasure for the rest of our lives. Thank you so much, Anne!!! -

Anne is simply the best - hands down. Not only is she an incredible photographer, but she shines behind the scenes as well. Anne shot my wedding in July. Leading up to the big day, Anne was continually checking in, organizing our day-of schedule, and responding quickly to any of my questions. She made everyone feel SO comfortable in front of the camera - she's so easy going, thoughtful, and complimentary. As a result, her pictures speak for themselves!! Her work is stunning, she is a true talent! I can't stop flipping through our album, each picture is better than the next. We had the best experience with Anne. This year has been crazy, of course. After canceling two wedding dates due to covid, we happily eloped and Anne and Vermont were our only constants! She was so flexible every step of the way and so, so professional.
More importantly, her photography is beautiful. Her approach is comfortable, light, and natural. Her equipment and final product is high quality. We had the best time eloping and Anne made it extra special and extra fun. I’m a photographer myself, so I hope this review is taken seriously :) -

When we hired Annie Mientka, it was a no-brainer and we couldn’t be more thrilled with the results! Photography was our number one priority, because we wanted our wedding day to last forever. She is incredibly professional and pulled off the impossible by making me look incredible in every shot. I generally hate having my picture taken, but she made me feel so comfortable and told me how to look my best and it worked! I couldn’t recommend her more to anyone that values quality and wants their important day, no matter the occasion, to be immortalized. -

Incredible doesn't even begin to describe our experience with Anne. From the very start (like, very start- 18 months in advance) I knew she was going to be the perfect photographer for our outdoor fall wedding. She is responsive, willing to adapt to changes (thanks, covid!) and work with you on the vision of your big day. When the day came and we finally got to meet, it was like we had known each other for years. Anne & her assistant were knowledgeable, professional and just all around delightful. My friends and family still cannot stop talking about her. She captured my husband (!) and I perfectly. Her turnaround is quick, and her images are just absolutely breathtaking. You will not regret a decision to hire Anne. She is now our photographer for life, whether she knows/likes it or not! -

Engagement Shoot
Anne was very professional, fun, outgoing, and easy to work with. The first time we met Anne was our engagement photo shoot and it was like we already met before. There were no awkward moment(s). She was able to pose us but never made it weird or stiff. She was open to ideas we had and made them happen beautifully! She was amazing and we had our pictures super quickly. I can’t say enough about Anne! She has been wonderful from the first contact!
I researched several photographers for our wedding, but there was something special about Anne.
The photos on her blog, Instagram, and Facebook were beautiful, artsy and intimate.
She has been kind and patient with me through the entire process. I finally got to meet her on our special day and felt like I had known her forever. She is so sweet! The final pictures were amazing. I told her almost a year ago that I was hoping to catch a lot of candid photos because everyone’s smile is so much more genuine, and she captured all of it beautifully. I was crying tears of happiness when I saw the final pictures.
It was an emotional day for me anyway, but seeing how she captured my husband and I, and our family and friends was joyous to see. She captured our day perfectly!

Anne impresses me more and more each time I work with her. She took our engagement photos and was even hiding to capture my surprise engagement, but oh my god - the photos she just delivered from our wedding are a MASTERPIECE. Not only did she photograph the best day of our lives, but she somehow captured the magic and emotion of our special day. The photos are simply stunning and to be able to have such perfect both candid and posed photos to relive our wedding day is such a gift. Plus, she is a joy to work with - responsive, kind, organized and comforting (in the midst of such a stressful time!). She is worth every penny! -

My husband and I chose Anne as our photographer for our wedding based on her online collection of photos and her friendly, sweet, and professional correspondence and conversations over the phone and Facetime. We live in Chicago and planning a destination wedding had its stressors for sure, but Anne was definitely not one of them. She helped out with developing a wedding timeline, photo lists, and locations for optimal photos and was always available if we had questions. We were a bit nervous having not participated in an engagement session and not being very comfortable in front of the camera. Anne helped put us at ease and made the experience fun. She did a fantastic job of capturing our love and excitement surrounding the day. We also wanted to capture the beauty of Vermont in the Fall and her work definitely did not disappoint. We received our photos quickly and there are so many gorgeous ones that we now have proudly on display in our home. We wholeheartedly recommend Anne if you are looking for a wedding photographer. -

Picture Perfect
Anne is awesome! Not only does she have an eye for how to make you look your best, but she also makes you feel super comfortable (which is great if you feel awkward in front of a camera). My fiancé and I have known Anne for years, and we couldn’t think of anyone else that we wanted to do our engagement photos. She spent time listening to what we wanted and even helped me pick out outfits. Her attention to detail is amazing and our pictures came out beautifully! We couldn’t be happier! -

Family Photoshoot
Where to start! I hired Anne to get some family pictures and some of my son who just turned one! She welcomed us with the bubbliest personality and made our shoot fun and entertaining! My husband and I left agreeing she was going to be our family

Review for 05/08 micro wedding: What they say is true: your wedding goes by in the blink of an eye. I’m so glad I had Anne there to capture those precious, fleeting moments forever. She was definitely the most important vendor I had at my wedding: she was focused, not only on capturing our memories, but on making sure we took time to be present with each other and enjoyed our time together while being photographed. I can’t believe the volume of images that I want to frame, mail to family, and save forever. It’s almost overwhelming (almost). Seeing the joy in my husbands eyes while we poured over our wedding album was pretty priceless, too. We are so, so happy with our wedding photographs.
Review for summer 2018 engagement photos: Anne did our engagement photos and they were gorgeous. I loved all the images and she did an amazing job capturing our love story in both candid seeming and more posed shots. Her turnaround time was very expedient and the delivery was very convenient. We covered so many locations in an hour and a half shoot, so I have a beautiful variety of images to cherish. I’m a little nervous behind a camera but Anne is super helpful with posing and guiding her clients to their very best angles and makes you feel at ease during the shoot. Her energy, kindness, and professionalism radiate the extent to which she’ll go to make her clients feel special and capture the perfect moment. -

Anne was our photographer for a winter wedding in Stowe, VT. She is amazing! Look no further! We were coming into Stowe from Boston so I didn't know many local vendors, but boy am I happy I found her. Super helpful before the wedding and amazing the day of the wedding. She does a great job making everyone feel comfortable and she knows how to get great shots. At the reception, she had a special skill showing up right when we wanted her to take a picture but then was so stealth you would not notice her capturing all the precious moments. I'd give 10 starts if I could! -

I never had to question if I’d get the pictures I was envisioning.
I’ve known Anne for years. She’s a gentle, beautiful soul AND she just happens to be an effortless photographer. I had no doubt I wanted her to be my photographer. I’ve envied her light and airy style forever now! However my original date I picked she was booked... so I moved my wedding date. Because no way was she not going to be my photographer.
The day was incredible! She flowed through the movements with such grace and ease. I could tell that she was getting the best shots ever.
We received our wedding photos and I was right! Anne created such beautiful and elegant photos they almost didn’t seem like they came from my wedding. They were beyond perfect.
Besides from the actual “work” Anne puts out, Anne as a person is perfect for the career of a photographer. She is so attentive and personable. She can connect with anyone and uses her natural charm and wit to her advantage while working.
I can’t say enough about her! I wish her nothing but luck as she continues to grow her photography business into everything I know it can be!
