Perfect times 2.

The Annapolis Waterfront Hotel and Atlas Restaurant Group were perfect. Planning the wedding for my only daughter was something we wanted to get right in order to provide "the wedding of my dreams" for my daughter. The best decision we made was to choose the AWH and The Atlas Team of Alexa, Caroline and Hayley. They are VERY experienced in all things wedding and hospitality. Everything exceeded our expectations.
A contract isn't worth the paper it is written on unless the people behind it are top notch. We experienced a change in our plans do to a construction issue. Before we even knew about it, Atlas had two more than satisfactory options to keep moving forward. The point Atlas stood behind their commitment to us and delivered a perfect wedding experience.
Annapolis is a GREAT town to host a wedding and The Annapolis Waterfront Hotel is the Best Choice for the venue.

Incredible team and beautiful venue!

We have nothing but good to say about this venue and the team that helped us prepare for and execute our special day! Sarah was our wedding coordinator -- working with her prior to and on the wedding day made the wedding planning process so much easier! She was extremely communicative, kind, and helped our vision for the day come to life.

We had nothing but wonderful compliments from our guests about the venue itself, food, and staff. We chose their Elite package which gave us everything we wanted and so many options! Looking back at photos and video of our day, everything looked so elegant and classy. We can't recommend the Annapolis Waterfront Hotel enough!!

Sarah L is the BEST! Amazing Venue and Team!

Sarah Lubawski and the entire AWH team were amazing to work with. When I researched vendors, she was the first one to return my message here on Wedding Wire. Planning my wedding out of state, I needed a responsive team, and Sarah L from the hotel was amazing. She answered all my emails promptly, always sent updated invoices and event orders, adjusted day of timelines based on my suggestions, and happily worked with all my vendors day of my wedding seamlessly. The day of my wedding she was like a ghost behind the scenes making everything run perfectly and would check on me throughout to ask if I needed anything. The food ended up being perfect and they accommodated dietary restrictions well for my bridal party getting ready in the morning and cocktail hour / reception. For being directly on the water, their pricing was comparable and even a bit better than other hotels for large parties in downtown Annapolis. 100% recommend. The day was perfect!!

Outstanding attention to detail

Sarah did an INCREDIBLE job putting together our dream wedding. We made a last minute switch from a different venue and Sarah blew it out of the water on a short timeline. It was an stress-free event from start to finish. During planning she helped me find the perfect vendors, gave suggestions that maximized our budget and we truly enjoyed the planning experience.
One very important piece was that I have a family member with celiac who can not have any cross contamination with gluten. Sarah made note of this before the event, checked in about it and another unidentified allergy during the event- and this was the first time in years my aunt has been able to eat a meal out in public without getting sick.
The entire experience was flawless.

Best day ever!!!

Annapolis Waterfront Hotel was truly the perfect wedding venue. It’s indoor-outdoor set up, spacious second-floor ballroom and patio overlooking Ego Alley was perfect to give our guests a fun, Maryland experience. Sarah and the team made sure the day went without a hitch, they worked with out vendors the morning of to make sure everything was set perfectly. Leading up to the day, Sarah was very responsive and willing to answer any questions. They also had a recommended vendor list, which made finding our vendors very easy.

Beautiful July Wedding In Annapolis

We had our ceremony and reception at the Annapolis Waterfront Hotel in July of 2022. Our wedding coordinator, Sarah, and her team did an incredible job making our special day possible. Living in a different part of the country, we planned our wedding remotely with Sarah and she was always there to hop on Zoom/conference calls whenever we needed to discuss details and answer any questions we had. She worked with our other professionals to help organize everything, and things could not have gone better. Sarah really went above and beyond for us, and we are so grateful for all that she did.

The venue itself was stunning. July in Annapolis is beautiful, but the weather can also be unpredictable. Lucky for us, the weather was not an issue. However, Sarah did walk us through all the details and setup of what our ceremony would look like in the event of bad weather.

Having the mix of the patio space and indoor space was really a hit with our guests. All of the furniture and bar fixtures were updated a few weeks before our wedding, and it all looked beautiful. The catering and bar staff were extremely courteous and professional. Sarah and her team did a great job in coordinating with our wedding planner to make sure the flow of the event went smoothly. We were able to really customize the space as we wanted it. Also, the catering team was accommodating when it came to customizing certain meal and bar requests. The room block was another great feature, thanks to the help of Christine. Being able to be on-site for all of the events was a comfort to our guests.

Our wedding was such a special event, and we could not have imagined going with a different venue looking back. Sarah and her team were so thoughtful in their effort and execution of our event, and we are grateful to have worked with them. Overall we had a great experience here, especially being downtown and having a waterfront view. We definitely felt like this was a great value, especially compared to venues in D.C. and locally in Annapolis. Thank you again to Sarah and her team at the AWH!

5 Stars all day every day!

We CANNOT say enough great things about having our wedding at AWH! Sarah is exceptional and is exactly the person you want to make sure your wedding goes off without a hitch. My husband and I feel Sarah was the biggest asset of our wedding! We also stayed on property (along with about half our wedding guests) and from the time we arrived to the hotel everyone was very accommodating to us and helpful. Shout out to the valet mvp Austin & Alex from the hotel! All of our guests loved the venue and made many comments of how great the staff and accommodations were from Annapolis Waterfront Hotel. Thank you AWH and Sarah for making sure we had the best wedding day!

Incredible venue and wedding team!

We could not have been happier with our experience getting married at the Annapolis Waterfront Hotel! With many of our guests coming from out of town, it was an awesome location for them to see and Annapolis for the wedding weekend. The view from the balcony where we had our ceremony was spectacular, the food was delicious (lots of Maryland classics, and they accommodate all restrictions and diets easily), and the wedding team was AMAZING! They were so kind and experienced, we were in excellent hands the whole way through. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Waterfront Annapolis Wedding

Wow. That is all I can say. From Sarah, our wedding coordinator, to the hotel and valet staff. Everyone was extremely helpful and made our big day amazing. We had our ceremony and reception at the venue, which made the whole day logistically easy. The day went flawless and everyone raved about the view! If you’re thinking of having a downtown Annapolis wedding but are skeptical of a hotel venue, don’t overlook AWH! It’s location, all inclusive catering, valet, etc makes your planning easy with a grandeur finale!

Highly recommend for an Annapolis wedding!

I have nothing but good things to say about my experience with AWH and their wedding coordinator, Sarah Lubawski. I got engaged in Nov 2019 and booked my wedding in Jan 2020 for June 2021. When COVID hit, I had no idea what was in store for our wedding plans. Sarah & AWH were flexible, supportive, and professional while dealing with their own personal and business issues. Communication was stellar, pricing was transparent, the venue was gorgeous, and the food was fantastic. I rave about Sarah because she always made me feel like I was her only bride! I cannot recommend AWH enough if you’re considering a wedding in Annapolis.

The absolute best venue/wedding team

Absolutely Amazing!!!!! We could never thank them enough for making all of our wedding dreams come true! Getting married at the Annapolis Waterfront Hotel, with Minna and Sarah leading our Wedding Team as our incredible venue coordinators, Christine the wonderful hotel Sales Manager, and all of the other amazing staff, was the absolute best decision we ever made. Our wedding was originally planned for 2020 at the Annapolis Waterfront Hotel and then we decided to postpone to 2021 due to COVID. This meant we had almost 2 years of interacting and planning with our venue/Sarah, Minna, and Christine and they were always there every step of the way. We cannot say enough amazing things about our experience. We are forever so grateful for how they made a stressful time (of postponing a wedding during the height of COVID) such an easy, seamless process. Because of them, I was able to remove the stress of postponing from the planning and still feel the joy and happiness of planning process. Throughout the entire planning process they were so supportive, responsive, organized, helpful, kind and caring. They are so knowledgeable and thorough. I always felt I could go to them with any question during the process and they were always there. My parents, husband and I are so incredibly thankful to Minna, Sarah, Christine, the Annapolis Waterfront Hotel, and all of the staff. Our guests still rave about the wedding, our venue, our vendors, etc. I wouldn't change a thing about our wedding weekend but wish we could do it all again because it was the absolute best and we would only want to do it at the Annapolis Waterfront Hotel with this fabulous Wedding Team!

We are so happy!

Sarah L. and her team were amazing! We are so happy with our decision to get married at AWH. Planning with Sarah was super easy and she was so very organized and thoughtful!
Our weekend was absolutely perfect.

Sarah was always 2 steps ahead I appreciate all her help in having the day run smoothly. I felt like I was in good hands :). AWH was beautiful, our guest raved about the food. It was so convenient having our guests stay at AWH or nearby in town. We loved having the ceremony, cocktail hour and the reception all in one place. It was the perfect venue for us!

Also, I was so pleasantly surprised the day after the wedding I woke up with all the decorations neatly packed up in bins on a cart ready to go! Which made the pack up and car load easy. Something you don't even think when planning a wedding is the clean up!

Perfect Annapolis venue!

For the nearly two years that we were engaged Sarah L was always very communicative and helpful. She answered our countless, detailed questions with enthusiasm and support. Her customer-service orientation gave us invaluable confidence and reassurance leading up to our big day.

We and our guests had countless positive things to say about the AWH itself. The venue’s renovation is timeliness and the private bridal party holding room was beautifully decorated and such a nice touch. Obviously the balcony’s view is stunning and the patio furniture is such a fun addition. The food was excellent and perfectly portioned.

On the day of our wedding we were so grateful for how Sarah went above and beyond to decorate and collect our personal items at the end of the night. We also were so thankful to have a room for our wedding night, chocolate covered strawberries and champagne included!

While the timeline was thrown off the night of our reception, Sarah kept us informed and relaxed throughout the night. The only thing that might be worth considering tweaking for future weddings is how the cake is served. We had many of our guests say that they missed the cake entirely and what was odd was when one of our bridesmaids asked a server about this he brought cake out for her from the back.

Outstanding Wedding

The Waterfront Hotel worked with us in the beginning and the team was very professional in developing the plan for the reception. Then when the pandemic hit, they went above and beyond to not only take on the reception but the ceremony itself; which made for a very easy weekend to be all inclusive in the hotel complex. And fighting thru a power outage ~an hour before the ceremony and possible storms to have the outside ceremony and happy hour was fantastic. It was what our daughter wanted in a wedding since she was 4 years old...thanks

"Best Wedding Ever" -Us and All our Guests!

Thank you so much to Sarah and the team at the Annapolis Waterfront Hotel for such an amazing experience, from the very first meeting through planning this wedding twice (#thanksCOVID), and the perfect day that resulted. Sarah was an incredible wedding coordinator, that made our dreams come true - even with having to delay and alter plans because of COVID-19. But all that aside, the venue is the most amazing location to be married. With a gorgeous newly updated ballroom that opens up to a patio overlooking the million dollar Annapolis Harbor view - we couldn't have asked for a better place to start our forever together. And beyond looks, the food and drinks were amazing (we had an oyster bar, and orange crush bar) and the people at the hotel make you feel just like family as you are tying the knot and combining your own families. We can't thank the AWH enough for making our dreams come true. After the COVID storm, AWH brought us Over the Rainbow - and it was amazing!

Planning a COVID Wedding at AWH

The Annapolis Waterfront Hotel is a beautiful venue. There is ample space for guests indoors and outdoors. The food is also delicious and there is parking on site for your wedding day and rehearsal dinner.

Sarah L is a Wedding/Event Manager Extraordinaire! Her professionalism, gregarious demeanor, patience and attention to detail made our wedding day seamless.
We didn’t realize that we forgot our “Reserved Signs” for the ceremony and extra votives for our card table until we saw our wedding pictures. Sarah stepped right in and provided those items for us without ever mentioning it.

Best. Wedding. EVER!

I know everyone says this, but I truly had the BEST WEDDING EVER. The Annapolis Waterfront Hotel was the absolute perfect venue. I got married in December 2019. We got beautiful photos by the water, and the entire hotel was decked out in Christmas trees and wreaths. The patio area had elegant twinkly lights, cozy heaters, and comfortable furniture so guests could hang out in an open area. The hors d’oeuvres were delicious; a fan favorite was the tomato soup shooters a grilled cheese slice on top. Our wedding coordinator, Sarah, was responsive, knowledgeable, and overall one of the friendliest people I've ever met. I can't recommend the Annapolis Waterfront Hotel enough. The hotel rooms were clean and nautical as well!

Wedding Venue/Reception

Sarah and her team at Annapolis Waterfront Hotel went above and beyond in their work on our daughter’s wedding reception! It was a truly magical setting and the staff were extra attentive and helpful to all of us. The food was amazing and so delicious and the chef & catering staff also helped tremendously with any special dietary needs we had. Wonderful experience!

The Annapolis Waterfront Hotel was the best venue for our dream wedding! The service was amazing throughout the entire planning process, as well as the execution of the actual wedding.

Sarah Lubawski was one of the sole reasons my wedding was amazing! Sarah was with us the entire process and helped with every detail.

The Perfect Venue!

We cannot sing higher praises for the work that Sarah Lubawski at the Annapolis Waterfront Hotel did for us! From the moment we first looked at the space, Sarah was on top of things. She answered every question we had, accommodated our special requests and assisted us with our decorations. We had a flawless wedding reception in the Chesapeake Ballroom and the patio. Sarah and her team did excellent work maintaining a coordinated timeline, working with our other vendors, providing advice for table/seating placement. Truly stunning evening. We cannot thank her enough! Her continued involvement and effort throughout the whole process made our wedding day extra special and just what we always imagined!

Wedding Venue Dream!!

We had our wedding at the Annapolis Waterfront hotel and it was an absolute dream!! In regards to the venue the entire staff was fantastic from the front desk to the wait staff. The venue is very flexible and provides great packages for any budget. They provide great recommendations, don’t try to up-sell you and are honest when they think you don’t need the next option up which is very important when the wedding bills add up. They were very accommodating in many aspects! Sarah Lubawski was our wedding coordinator and she was absolutely amazing! She went above and beyond from beginning to end to ensure that our special day went seamlessly. We started the planning process over a year out from the date and she provided excellent service from our initial meeting when we were looking at other venues as well and made us feel at ease through the whole process! She was extremely thorough, friendly, and made our experience with her memorable! She is an expert in the industry and I highly recommend her and this venue for any event (especially your wedding)!

Perfect Annapolis Venue

We loved having our wedding at the Annapolis Waterfront Hotel. Any question or worry we has was quickly answered or squashed by our amazing coordinator, Christina. She handled everything and was always so calm and happy! We looked all around Annapolis and DC and this was the best venue with a water view, walkable to everything downtown for our guests. The package includes everything you need and they allow you to bring your own cake, etc.

Seamlessly Beautiful

My husband and I had our wedding September 20th 2019 at the Annapolis Waterfront Hotel and we couldn’t be more pleased with how our special day turned out! August 2019 Wedding

I had my wedding in late August, and I can't say enough about how wonderful it was. The flexibility and the value of what we received from the waterfront is unmatched. The wedding coordinator, Christina, is absolutely amazing. I cannot say enough great things about her! I had less than 3 months to plan my wedding, and I wouldn't have been able to do it without her! Our wedding was absolutely gorgeous, more beautiful than I ever could've imagined. My only qualm was with the Valet; a lot of the guys at the Valet were extremely rude to both myself, and other guests staying at the hotel over the course of the wedding weekend. Regardless of this, my experience was still amazing and would recommend the Waterfront to anyone I know!

Sarah was our wedding planner/coordinator. She was wonderful! We couldn't have asked for a better experience. I am the mother of the bride. I helped my daughter and her new husband with some of the planning. The venue was wonderful, the staff was was wonderful. Sarah had made a suggestion of some outside vendors. They turned out to be simply marvelous and professional too. Overall, it was a great day and I would highly recommend the Annapolis Waterfront Hotel for a fabulous wedding, or other event, experience. And, you can't beat the view.

Dream wedding

I cannot begin to explain my love for this venue and the staff. From the time my fiance and I chose the venue to the day we got married on 9/7/19 Sarah kept us informed and eased any concerns I had immediately. She was extremely responsive and that helped tremendously in keeping us de-stressed for the big day. Mother of the Bride

Omg! Sarah Lubawski and the entire staff were absolutely amazing. During the planning, they were quick to respond and gave sooooo many helpful suggestions. The wedding day (June 15, 2019) was unbelievable. Sarah and the staff had everything under control- the ballroom looked beautiful, service impeccable and they even packed up all of our personal items at the end of the evening. The bride was overwhelmed with how perfect everything went at the hotel. We had 17 rooms booked by family and the bridal party and they all were very pleased. I can’t say enough great things. As a picky mother of the bride, I couldn’t have been happier! Many thanks to everyone at AWH!!!!

"Best Wedding Ever"

I cannot even begin to describe how amazing it was to have our wedding reception at the Annapolis Waterfront Hotel. By the end of the night, nobody wanted to leave and all of our guests were saying how it was the best wedding they've ever been to. Luckily enough, we were able to invite all of our guests to continue the celebration at Pusser's which is the bar connected downstairs - which was also a great experience.

The Chesapeake Ballroom, where our reception was held, is absolutely gorgeous. If you're not looking to spend a ton of money on extra decorations, you won't need to because the simplicity and class of this ballroom is enough in itself. Attached to the ballroom is a covered patio that leads to a spacious outdoor patio that overlooks Downtown Annapolis and the United States Naval Academy, which is absolutely gorgeous during the day, and especially at night when downtown is all lit up. You cannot beat the views that this venue provides and we were getting compliments on how amazing it was the entire night.

The food was absolutely phenomenal and the service was beyond compare. My husband and I were treated like celebrities and the staff was always making sure our needs were met and they exceeded our expectations.

Christina was an absolute pleasure to work with. From day one, she made it easy to plan what we wanted and made the whole process seamless. I will recommend this venue to ANYONE who is getting married in the future and is looking for a gorgeous night that they'll never forget. Thank you to the entire team at the AWH from the bottom of our hearts for giving us a night we will cherish forever!

A fairy Tale Wedding!

It is with great pleasure that I write this review about the exceptional experience we had at the Annapolis Waterfront for Maggie and Jason's wedding. It was a fairy tale wedding. Sarah was so kind and calm and extremely detailed! The banquet manager made sure that we were treated with such respect. We all felt so welcome and special that by the end of the evening Saturday we felt like family! I would like to recognize Orlando and the second bartender. You were all amazing! We had our wedding at the Annapolis Waterfront Hotel on 3/16/19. We had a truly wonderful experience during every step of the planning process all the way to our reception - which truly exceeded our expectations in every way!! The success of the event is truly thanks entirely to Sarah Lubawski, our wonderful on-site coordinator. If you are considering having your wedding at AWH, be sure to ask for Sarah, as you will be in the BEST hands in the business. This girl CRUSHES the wedding coordination game. Sarah was on top of every detail throughout the planning process all the way through the final moment of our reception. She answered all of our calls and emails with professionalism, grace, and kindness. The week of our wedding, we simply provided her with our day-of items (guestbook, escort cards, signage, table numbers, etc.) and she took it from there. She set up everything and turned the ballroom into a true work of art. She went above and beyond and added some of her own personal touches to make the space shine for our guests. Ah, I could cry in gratitude for everything you did for us, Sarah. Thank you, thank you, thank you. You always felt more like a friend than a vendor. We love you. Because of your conscientiousness and attention to detail, I never once felt stressed about how our reception would turn out. Our bartender and servers were also amazing at the reception and ensured we always had our drink of choice nearby and that we were able to enjoy the meal while also greeting our guests. Smooth and Relaxing Reception

I had the best time ever working with Sarah and the team at the Annapolis Waterfront Hotel. From the initial contact to the tasting to the event (and after), everyone communicated well with me and made sure all went as I would want! Sarah made it so I did not have to worry about anything during our big day, we knew she would make everything great and we could relax. The whole staff from the front desk to the wait staff to bar staff was so friendly and helped out when we needed and made sure we were well taken care of! I will recommend the Annapolis Waterfront Hotel to friends for future events!

Winter Wedding in Annapolis

We loved this hotel for our December wedding! We really wanted a venue on the waterfront and close to the Naval Academy Chapel, and we loved that AWH offered a historic venue with a beautiful view of the bay. We used their space heaters for our cocktail hour and the patio was warm and cozy despite a cold, rainy day. We also used the fire pits which so many of the guests loved and enjoyed. The staff was very kind, responsive, and generous. We enjoyed a discounted price for having a wedding on a Friday and for having it in the winter season. Only potential downside is that no buffet options are offered, only plated meals. We didn't initially want plated dinner but it ended up being great and giving us both some much needed quiet time to ourselves during the night. Highly recommend!

We held our wedding ceremony and reception at the AWH. We have only good things to say about our coordinator Christina and her team. Christina was responsive and helpful leading up to the wedding day. She coordinated with all of our outside vendors and we had very little to worry about. The food and service was excellent and the ballroom looked amazing. We added the tater tot station and orange crush bar which were big hits with our guests! After the reception all of our personal decor items were packed up and ready for us the next morning.
Most of the negatives were due to the horrible weather conditions on our wedding day. It was July 21 and Annapolis received 5+ inches of rain and wind! We had a 30'x60' tent set up for the ceremony on the patio, but weather conditions were so bad we had to make the decision to pull the ceremony inside. Christina and her team made this transition several hours prior to the start time. The ceremony was held in a portion of the ballroom and it looked lovely but was a tight squeeze and very warm for our guests. This was not what we had envisioned for our ceremony when we chose this venue. We did use the covered outside patio and tent for the cocktail hour and extra reception space. The permanent awning on the patio leaked and there were many puddles to navigate, but the patio was usable. The limited parking at AWH also became an issue due to the weather. Many guests were turned away by the valets and had to find other parking locations. Generally this would be a minor inconvenience, but in our case we had guests who arrived soaked. The negative, unrelated to the weather, had to do with the hotel. We did not find the sales staff particularly helpful or responsive with questions and requests about our room block. The front desk staff at the hotel were very good.
Despite the weather, we had a beautiful wedding at the AWH. Thank you to Christina and her team!

My husband and I were married here on August 11 and it was amazing! We had both our ceremony and reception held here. Christina worked wonders and helped us so much through this. We live in Chicago and were worried about out of town planning, but Christina was so flexible to work with us from the tasting all the way to the wedding. She was prompt to answer all my many questions by email and every time we thought we had a small problem with something, she'd offer an immediate easy solution. She also had everything set up so beautifully the day of the wedding! The venue itself is beautiful, many of our guests stayed out on the patio for the reception to enjoy the waterfront. The food was perfect, our out of town guest loved the crab cakes! All in all, it was perfect and I wouldn't have done it any other way!

DREAM WEDDING!! My husband and I had our wedding here July 28th and truly I have nothing but amazing things to say about the Waterfront Hotel!

Our coordinator was Sarah and from the start she literally was on top of every single detail. She listened to family dynamics, she understood specific food requests, she heard my vision for how I wanted the ceremony and reception to look and more. What was even better was the day of she just took everything and made it all happen and I didnt worry about a thing. So many details like bar signs and bouquets and favors she just knew how to handle it without pulling me aside and bothering me. Her alone made this venue great.

The space- we had a unique crowd where my side was all from PA and 90% of our friends were under 30 so we figured after the wedding, they would want to go out to the bars after the reception. Being directly downtown was huge for us. What made it better was the direct flow/openness from reception to dancing outside so people could drink/talk/get some air. Our guests could just have fun all night and see the beautiful view which is priceless.

Overall, if you're debating this venue, this was by far the best decision.

The wedding staff did an absolute magnificent job. Sarah and her crew couldn’t have set a more perfect day for us. Alvin and the bar staff were on top of their game the entire reception and there was never more than a 10 second wait for a beverage. Our guests were extremely pleased with the entire wedding, from the easy flow of events, to the set ambiance made perfect by Sarah’s team, and the entire staff with their respectfulness and attentiveness.

I wanted to thank specifically Sarah Lubawski for her beyond spectacular job making My daughter's wedding a dream come true. The compliments were endless. Sarah and her team were efficient, courteous,helpful, and timely every step throughout the day. Sarah's patience and calmness were probably the greatest asset to a Bride and her Mother. It goes a long way on wedding day. She is definitely at the top of the list for an event planner. It's a stressful job and not for the weak of heart. The Waterfront Venue satisfied every whim on the list and most of all the rain stayed away which was making the bride a little edgy.
The food was plentiful and delicious. The little pastries were an added treat. Our bartender Alvin was terrific . It was absolutely a beautiful day and so many made it possible. Thanks to all!

Best venue in Annapolis to host a wedding! especially for out of town guests. Spectacular views and the downtown convenience is fabulous. Melanie Mapp was our amazing coordinator and handled everything very professionally, she really just made everything flow on the big day! Evan, the Banquet Manager was great too, always checking in to see if he could do anything else for us.
Did not have to worry about a thing on the big day, so many special touches from this team!!

Melanie was amazing. I was never stressed because I knew that she had everything under control on the day of! Our daughter’s wedding reception was perfect. From the first day that we started working with Sarah (our AWH coordinator) to plan the reception to the day of the event, everything went like clockwork. Sarah had it all under control, made great suggestions to guide us through the entire process and for the actual reception we only had to show up and enjoy! AWH was a wonderful wedding spot. The location is incredible as are the views. The hotel made for a great place to have a "destination" wedding, and the staff was kind and professional. The hotel and Sarah (our on site coordinator) made us feel incredibly special throughout the process. We had compliments on the view and the food. You get a lot for your money and I loved having the outdoor and indoor space. I HIGHLY recommend this venue for anyone who wants a wedding on the water!

We just had our wedding at the Waterfront Hotel, and it was amazing! Our guests loved looking out over the water on the patio. Melanie, our wedding coordinator, was very responsive and was able to create my vision and decorate the reception space. The food was also very good! Our guest keep telling us about how good the food was.

When I knew I was getting married in Annapolis, I wanted a reception space on the water. The Annapolis Waterfront Hotel is perfect because it's on the water, but also still in downtown Annapolis so walking distance to bars after the reception.

Our wedding day venue was a dream! From the scenic views, delicious food, outdoor fire pits and seating, to the friendly staff and amazing accommodations we couldn't have asked for better! Hilary Peret, our wedding day coordinator, was with us from start to finish! Very thorough, and made the process a breeze! She even helped bride #2 (me) with bussetting blunders through the reception! Did I mention this was a double wedding? My sister and I got married on the same day, so a lot went into this day. The team worked with our vendors from flower and cake delivery to DJ and photo booth setups, everything was organized and turned out beautifully! We loved our experience at this venue and would recommend it to all! Shoutout to the staff for proving excellent service and special thanks to Mr. Alvin who helped us during our pre wedding tasting and was on hand day of! PERFECTION. My sister and I had a DOUBLE WEDDING in October 2016- Hilary Peret did an above and beyond job coordinating the most magnificent event my sister and I could've imagined! From the venue to the food and service- we truly could not have asked for a better day. We had an initial walk through of the venue (although we were already somewhat familiar as we both had our proms at this location when it was known as the Marriot :) ), we did a tasting, and a pre wedding meeting the Wednesday prior to our event. Hilary was available through email and phone for any other questions we had and did an amazing job making sure our day went perfectly - and it truly did. We decided to rent a tent to allow for more outdoor space for our guests - we had about 300 people. We also did stations and had seating for about 200 at the suggestion of Hilary- full disclosure, we were initially weary of this set up idea compared to the standard sit down dinner weddings we were familiar with but it turned out AMAZING- made the day so much more fun (waiting for a sit down dinner is at times tiresome). The AWF provided firepits & some seatingoutside of the glass enclosure and we were able to rent heaters, if necessary, for the extended area overlooking the water. We lucked out on weather the day of our wedding but the outdoor space with the firepits was MAGICAL and I would strongly recommend getting the heaters for slightly colder weather if you are able, the view is just breath taking. The service staff was amazing and so on top of things - and they made sure we all ate, which can be tricky when literally hundreds of people are trying to talk to you :) I really could go on and on, our day was absolutely perfect - everything we wanted and more. Also, Hilary made sure we had wedding cake and pasta in our room when we returned for the night which was such a thoughtful touch that made the whole experience 12/10, would absolutely recommend, for us :) Thank you, AWF, Hilary, and the whole team!!

Look no further when searching for a wedding reception location! My experience with the Marriott exceeded all my expectations. Melanie was absolutely the best to work with. She was easy going, accommodating, and timely with her responses. She honestly made planning my wedding so much easier. Her knowledge and expertise are unparalleled. You can put all your trust in Melanie and the Marriott staff and know your wedding reception will turn out beautiful and go off without a hitch.

The venue itself is beautiful. My guests loved being able to go back and forth from the indoor ballroom to the outside patio. The water views from the patio are great for pictures!

My guests still rave about the food. They say it was the best wedding food they have ever had. If I could do anything differently, I would go back and eat more food! The service was great and all of the staff were super friendly and nice.

I really can't say enough about my experience with the Marriott. From start to finish they were wonderful. This venue was well worth the price and you will LOVE your reception experience if you go here.

I used this for a "rehearsal/welcome" party the night before the wedding. It was perfect. The only hitch was that the weather didn't cooperate. i don't think that I can blame that on the venue. Sarah was delightful to work with, and the hotel and catering staff were great. They could not have been more accommodating. I highly recommend this! It was perfect!

My husband and I were thrilled with the rehearsal dinner we hosted in the Harborview Room at the Annapolis Waterfront Hotel for our son's wedding. The food was delicious, the staff (Evan and Gwen) were friendly and accommodating, and the location convenient to St. Mary's Church where the rehearsal was held. Melanie of the Sales Department guided me in the planning every step of the way. She was responsive to my many questions, and a joy to work with. I am a wedding planner and recently worked with the AWH on a 200 person wedding. Melanie and her team did an amazing job! The room has a simple and clean aesthetic that makes it easy to add your personal style and create your own, unique design. AWH sits directly along the the water at Ego Alley (awesome photo ops) in downtown Annapolis. There is a fantastic patio off of the main gathering space for cocktail hour and lounging. This is not your "ordinary" hotel ballroom and you will not be disappointed in choosing AWH to host your wedding!

It's not until you're already knee-deep in planning and just a few months from the wedding that you realize how fortunate you are to have everything in one spot. The Annapolis Waterfront takes care of it all, from space for both halves of the wedding party to get ready to a ceremony (with rain plan!) location to the reception to even a room for your first night as a married couple. This means so much less stress when trying to wrap up all the other details! Questions about the ceremony? Talk to Hilary! Questions about the menu? Talk to Hilary! Suggestions for where to take photos? Talk to Hilary! Everything is high quality and classy, just as you would expect, and the whole staff works hard to give you what you want and make the day run smoothly. There is a lot to be said for the benefits of experience, and that is felt full force with all the care and dedication you receive. You won't be disappointed!

I am so happy we chose the Annapolis Waterfront Hotel (Marriott) for our reception. The wedding coordinator, Melanie, is AMAZING. Seriously, you will want to be best friends with her. She made the planning process so easy. She worked with our budget, responded to emails quickly, answered all of my questions. She was so sweet, honest, sincere, and she made us feel so special and gave us so much attention. She made sure that everything on our wedding day was perfect. If I could do it all over again, I will still pick the Waterfront Hotel just to work with Melanie.

It is a bit expensive, but we paid for the convenience of being downtown, close to a church, and being attached to the hotel. The venue is beautiful, right on the water. We got so many compliments on the food. The service was outstanding. It could not have gone any better.

I am absolutely speechless with the quality of service and support I received from the Waterfront Hotel! We began working with them a little over a year before our wedding date. Melanie, the Catering Sales Manager, (in addition to Lindsey) was with us every step of the way! She was such a dream! I was planning my wedding from afar, and I can't imagine having to do it without Melanie. Not only was she responsive to our budget constraints, she worked hard to ensure that our vision and quality desires were met!

The hotel itself offers a beautiful venue. Overlooking Eagle Alley in Annapolis, there is hardly a better view to be had! The rooms were all recently redesigned and are stunning, comfortable, and easily manipulated into the design you see for your wedding.

The food and the service was also incredible. No dry chicken, or over cooked steak here! Its quality food, and for a price that makes sense. Our server, Cheryl, was on top of everything and made sure that my husband and I had nothing to worry about.

This is a slightly expensive venue, but the quality of your event is unrivaled. It was a pleasure to work with this venue, and I feel so fortunate to have had them as part of my day!

I cannot say enough good things about the Annapolis Waterfront Hotel (Annapolis Marriott). My husband and I were torn between two vendors, but we ended up picking the Marriott because I loved the coordinator, Melanie. From the moment I sent in an online request to receive more information, Melanie was always so fast to respond and incredibly helpful - I just knew our special day would be in perfect hands! She was helpful in recommending vendors, providing suggestions and answering the million questions I always seemed to have.

When we had our tasting six months before our big day, we selected three entrees we wanted to try, several appetizers and we also were able to try each salad option. We also tried all of the house wines, and our server, Orlando (who also was a bartender at our wedding) made sure our glasses were full the whole time - which made for a really fun afternoon! We knew we'd be selecting the cheaper option entrees based on our budget, and we were very impressed with the portion sizes and how great they tasted! We ended up selecting the Chicken Picatta and Caribbean BBQ Salmon.

The day of the wedding, Melanie handled all of our vendors and even set up most of our decorations. Two of our vendors were VERY late, and I was so impressed with how well it was handled! The wedding, cocktail hour and reception were beyond perfect. Our guests are still raving about how well the food tasted and how on point the staff was. The bartenders were so nice and on top of things - something our crowd really appreciated. My mom (who Orlando the bartender remembered from the tasting) wanted a wine that wasn't available at our bar, and Orlando insisted on going downstairs to get it for her. She told me if she was walking around and Orlando saw her with an empty hand, he'd come up and give her a new glass. Everything was honestly so much better than we ever expected!

My Reception was at the Marriott, and it was an AMAZING DAY! The view is amazing, and guests spent a ton of time outside on the balcony. I have gotten so many complements about the food (a combination platter of steak and crab cake). I worked with Melanie to set everything up, and she was very helpful, flexible, and encouraging. We were able to add in a guest the day before the wedding. My reception went very smoothly, and as the bride, I didn't have to worry about anything.

Hilary and team at the Marriott are amazing. They helped me to plan every detail from food tastings to the plan for the evening. I can honestly say that Hilary and her team allowed me and my mother to relax and truely enjoy the evening. They met with all the vendors the morning of so that everything was in place and were very flexible with quoting the bill and last minute changes in the head count. The food was plated and amazing and the bar tenders were polite, fun, and efficient. We could not have been happier with the location or the view. The only downside is parking when Annapolis gets busy but there is valet parking at the hotel.

As if the view of the Annapolis Harbor from the Annapolis Waterfront Marriott does not position this venue within the elite wedding sites of this area, the style, professionalism, and expertise of the hotel and catering staff secures their position at the top of the list. Courtney Ritterbush handled every step of the wedding planning process with an ease and grace that constantly calmed me as the bride. She is the reason every bride think’s they can be a wedding planner because she made it look so easy. Courtney was extremely attentive and available. She always answered my questions, which oftentimes there were many. She was very knowledgeable and accommodating.
On the day of the wedding, Alvin helped with our preliminary set up. Alvin was also very attentive and helpful. We had an illness in the family and many members could not come at the last minute, therefore we needed to make a lot of last minute changes. Alvin calmed my nerves and took care of any changes that needed to be made. When Courtney arrived for the day, she took care of everything, from making sure the table arrangements were in place to maintaining vendor contact. I was able to soak up each moment of my day because of Courtney’s unmatched professionalism.
I would also like to note a lovely lady named Alberta working at the front desk. While setting up the bridal holding room, she was our go-to front desk staff member. She took care of anything my bridal party needed while we were getting ready, which is just another testament to the never-ending professionalism at the Annapolis Waterfront Marriott. I cannot imagine planning my wedding, or having such an exceptional day, without the amazing support and service provided by Courtney and the entire hotel staff.

We LOVED our venue! We had our ceremony and reception both at the Annapolis Marriott and had a beautiful Saturday in March with the Winter Wedding special. We really lucked out with the warm weather and sunshine but you could NOT beat the winter special they had running! We were going to book during the busy season and they had thrown in so many incentives it was hard to say no. Our first wedding coordinator was Courtney, I could not say enough good things about her! She was very super friendly, professional and was a total wedding expert! She helped bring all of our ideas to life and was very responsive to all of my emails. We worked with Courtney up through the tasting (she made it so fun!) until 2 months before our wedding when it switched to Hilary. As a bride, I was a little worried about switching coordinators but they both made sure it was comfortable process and painless. Hilary jumped right in! The day of the wedding, everyone was SO helpful and sweet. During the wedding, the coordinators always made sure we were OK and there was a drink in our hand. They even had champagne waiting when we walked back down the aisle! The rooftop deck was the perfect setting for our ceremony, such a beautiful view and atmosphere. Hilary had every detail taken care of and made the day a breeze. The food was AWESOME (filet/lobster, chicken and salmon) and everyone raved about the fun signature drinks! We had an amazing view and the cocktail tent was the perfect escape for a drink, an area for people to catch up and for those who wanted to sneak away from the music. Being downtown was a huge bonus for guests to head to after the reception and for out of town guests. I am a very, very detailed person and the girls were so good at keeping things organized, on track and making sure every detail was spot on! Not to mention, they are a blast to work with and always keep you smiling. We adored our venue and the staff at the Marriott, one of the best wedding decisions we made!

The Marriott did a fantastic job of hosting our ceremony and reception! We worked with Courtney and Hillary, who were easy to work with and are both very friendly. In addition to being responsive about all of our questions and concerns, they made us feel comfortable and treated our wedding as a special occasion. Our day of coordinator, Cheryl, was hands-on, calm, and attentive during the entire event. And, all of the Marriott staff was very accommodating and friendly to us and our guests. For an Annapolis wedding, this location is terrific and you can't beat the water views! All in all, we had the time of our lives and so did our guests.

I decided to get married at the Annapolis Marriott Waterfront in November, and it was the best decision I made:) I was looking for a venue that was classy and beautiful, and this is what the Annapolis Marriott Waterfront delivered! The weekend felt like a get-away weekend, with everything being accessible in Annapolis.

The hotel provided a wedding coordinator for the planning process and the wedding day. We had met initially with Courtney, who I must say, was the BEST wedding coordinator I could have! She wasn't pushy with anything. After signing the contract, Courtney stayed in touch with me, providing me with information, and would always get back to you within a timely manner. She was extremely helpful throughout the whole planning process. On our wedding day, Courtney was so organized and calm. I didn't have to worry about a thing, she dealt with EVERYTHING, including setting up our personal touches for the wedding and dealing with the vendors. I cannot say enough about Courtney...she did an amazing job!

The Marriott is literally right on the water. Our ceremony was on the outside patio, overlooking the bay (an amazing view!). The cocktail hour was held in the outdoor tent, which stayed warm with heaters even though it was pretty chilly that day. This provided an "outdoor" feel for the ceremony and cocktail hour. The reception was held in the ballroom, which was huge and soooo gorgeous! I had many comments about how wonderful the food was, especially the Chicken Picatta:)

The rooms were a bit aged, but it gave us the historic feeling of Annapolis, and many rooms provided views of the bay. The staff was amazing, so professional and helpful. If you are looking for a beautiful Annapolis venue, the Annapolis Marriott is the way to go!!

The Marriott provided us with a beautiful ballroom, an outside patio area for a cocktail hour and by far some of the best wedding food you will have! Their staff and wedding coordinator (Courtney Ritterbush), helped to meet all of our needs and expectations. I really enjoyed working with Courtney and the rest of the Marriott event planning staff. Courtney was great about responding to emails, no matter how minor my question or concern was! We planned the entire wedding in less than 5 months, and the easiest part was coordinating the reception! The Marriott offered a wonderful "winter wedding" package so our guests were able to dine on a delicious Surf and Turf, and our date in early March turned out to have a spring weather feeling, so the guests especially enjoyed the cocktail hour on the covered patio, with access to the open terrace on the waterfront.

We held our wedding at the Annapolis Waterfront Marriott and it could not have been a more spectacular event. We had a very specific vision for our New Year's Eve celebration, and Courtney and the Marriott staff delivered beyond expectations. Easy to work with, flexible as our numbers changed, leaping over tall buildings to effect our plans, and delivering impeccable service as the wedding, reception, and after-party unfolded, I could not have been happier. When we signed the contract with the Marriott I thought the price was a bit steep. In the end, it was worth every penny. Courtney Ritterbush is amazing - professional, organized, and a pleasure to work with! Orlando is AWESOME - he was the first person I saw at our reception and he just made me smile!! I attended a wedding at the Annapolis Marriott and I was completely blown away by the professionalism of the staff and the beauty of the location. Not to mention the food was absolutely fantastic. We were able to have an absolutely gorgeous wedding on outside patio overlooking the bay at the Marriott Watefront. Boats were passing, the sky was blue, it was a perfect location! Many guests commented on the unique setting. Our event coordinator, Hilary, did a great job of helping the day run extremely smooth and getting everyone/everything organized...I did not have to worry about setup, take-down, timing, etc. Great pictures everywhere. Staff at hotel was great.

When I walked into my reception my breathe was taken away at how beautiful the room looked. Hilary and Courtney the two wedding planners for the hotel were absolutely amazing. Our wedding at the Annapolis Marriott was perfect. It was such a pleasure working with Hilary Moreland and they did an exceptional job. On the wedding day I was virtually stress free because I know we were in good hands.

We had 200+ guests and we were running a bit behind schedule but Hilary tried to make sure we didn't get too far behind.

The venue sort of speaks for itself - lovely hotel ballroom and giant terrace over the water in an unbeatable location. The food was pretty basic wedding fare, nothing to write home about - but who really goes to a wedding for the food?

What stood out above and beyond was the team we worked with. For the most part we worked with Courtney, and loved every minute. She helped bounce ideas around, gave us great advice for other vendors and things to do around Annapolis, and helped us come up with a great plan for the whole weekend.

About a month before our wedding the staff got moved around a bit, and while we still worked with Courtney we were introduced to Hilary around the time we needed to make final decisions. We loved them both! Such great, fun, honest and professional ladies. We had some day-of challenges with oppressive heat and an outdoor ceremony, and Hilary helped us stay calm and problem-solve for a great ceremony.

Every meeting we had was productive and fun, and we were able to negotiate on things we didn't want/need, arriving at a day that was really perfect for us and our family and friends. You meet a lot of vendors in the planning process, and these were two that I wouldn't hesitate to go back to or recommend (or visit next time we're in town!).

Beautiful Wedding Venue!

Annapolis Waterfront Hotel was a wonderful venue for our wedding reception. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, the food was delicious, and the space (including the balcony overlooking the water) is picturesque. Minna and Sarah Rose were extremely helpful in coordination and were very accommodating for our wedding day needs. The only issue we had was there were multiple changes in our point of contact throughout our wedding planning process (they've resolved this issue since our wedding!). Overall, however, we would highly recommend Annapolis Waterfront Hotel for your wedding/wedding reception venue!

Everything Was Perfect!!

My husband and I were marred at the Waterfront on June 8th, 2019! Everything about the day-of was spectacular, the staff was excellent and thoughtful; the food was SO good, we received so many compliments on the menu from our guests! But to go into a little more detail – when we were hunting for a venue I did a TON of research. We ended up booking the Annapolis Waterfront Hotel because it had a few things that we really LOVED. The perfect location, a great menu, and an awesome staff. I read so many of these reviews before we booked, and now I can really say they're all true! Our planner, Christina, was amazing! She was so responsive to my every question via email, phone call, you name it! She helped us plan months in advance, and she brought it all together on the day-of, so I didn't have to worry about a thing, and that was the biggest gift as a bride!!! Every staff member was so sweet and courteous – we were never left without a drink in our hand!! Everything was beautiful! Thank you again Christina & the Waterfront team!!

Great venue

The Annapolis waterfront was a beautiful venue for my daughters wedding. We loved how everything flowed from one area to the other. Christina DelSoto was a fantastic coordinator and so easy to work with.

I really enjoyed having our wedding at the Annapolis Waterfront Hotel! Sarah was SO wonderful to work. The day of went so smoothly. John and I were able to truly let go and enjoy our special day. They were incredibly detail oriented and timely. I would definitely recommend having an event at AWH!

I got married at the Annapolis Waterfront Hotel last month and I am still floating on air. We moved to Annapolis a couple years ago and so we wanted to find a venue that really embraced the energy of Annapolis- AWH was the absolute perfect choice. The location was key, as most of our guests were out-of-towners. They stayed at a variety of hotels and vacation rentals, all within walking distance or a short drive to AWH. We had our ceremony on the outdoor terrace (overlooking the water and sailboats- stunning!), cocktail hour under the tent on the patio, and reception in the ballroom. Guests raved about the food, the ambiance (indoor and outdoor), and the flawless flow of the entire evening.

Sarah Lubawski was our coordinator and she was perfection. From the very beginning her genuine warmth put me at ease, and throughout the entire planning process her swift responses and high level of organization kept me there. I truly could not have asked for a better partner- she worked with me every step of the way to ensure that our needs were met. The day of the wedding she was completely running the show- I didn’t have to worry about a thing! And amidst the many, many moving parts of the evening, Sarah somehow managed to have a box of food (cake and some of the “late night bites” that we had passed later in the evening) waiting for us in our hotel room. The entire day was a dream, but you cannot imagine the joy I felt when I got back to our room and had grilled cheese triangles and boneless buffalo wings waiting for me!

Overall, the Annapolis Waterfront Hotel was fabulous. The location, the setting, the food, the service- it was all top notch. My husband and I are both extremely grateful to AWH, and especially to Sarah, for giving us a truly amazing launch into married life.
