I had such a great time trying on wedding dresses here! The staff was so knowledgeable, kind, and fun. I didn't know exactly what kind of dress I wanted so the associate that worked with would pay attention to my response/feedback for everything I tried on, and then brought me another one to try even when I didn't know what direction to head in! The space is also so welcoming and beautiful, it was a great experience all around. And I love the dress I ended up with! -

Annalise Bridal Boutique was the best wedding dress store I went to! My party and I were the only ones in the boutique, and we were given plenty of time to go around looking at the dresses and for me to try them on. We never felt rushed, and we were able to take our time.
Something in particular that I loved about this boutique's process was that my party and I were sent around to look and pick out dresses ourselves first. One my style was determined my wonderful attendant Hannah pulled out some suggested dresses based on my style. It was a seamless process. I could not recommend it more. I found my dream dress here! -

I had the absolute most magical experience wedding dress shopping at Annalise, not only did I have the entire boutique to myself but they made my vision a reality. The boutique is stunning from the moment you pull up. The staff is knowledgeable and so friendly. Annalise is a beautiful bridal boutique with tons of options. They were very responsive and answered all my questions in detail, espeically because I wanted several customizations added to the dress I ultimately purchased. They connected me with a seamstress, confirmed everything with the designer, and were so easy and nice to work with. Highly recommend! -

I could not recommend Annalise Bridal more. On top of being the most beautiful space to shop in, the consultants are warm, friendly and makes you feel SO special during your appointment. They were very knowledgeable about each designer and all of the customizations available for each dress I tried on. I loved how I never felt rushed to make a decision and the consultants were so patient answering any questions I had. There is an amazing selection of dresses and you can tell the quality of designers they carry is top notch. I highly recommend Annalise Bridal to everyone I know! The best bridal experience in town! -

I went here 2 days after getting engaged just to look. Get an idea of what I wanted, and they had a cancellation, so we were like, “why not?”. They pulled SO many options for me and were just so kind and fun, especially shopping mid-pandemic (Jan. 2021). They made the process easy, and communication was on point also. One of my bridal party also got her dress here, which is why I wanted to check them out. Great vibe, and there was no pushiness or anything to buy. Honest, stuck to my budget, and made me feel special. -

The team at Annalise made my wedding dress dreams come true! I had seen the Anne Barge “Luca” gown on Pinterest and couldn’t get it out of my head. The team at Annalise worked their magic and got the Luca onsite during an Anne Barge truck show just for me! I was so appreciative of their help! They were very kind, patient, and enjoyable to work with during both my visits. I would highly recommend Annalise to any future bride!! -

Amazing! They have an incredible selection of gowns and veils! They were so patient when I took the time to consider options and I didn't feel pressured at all to make a decision on the spot. I bought my wedding dress and veil from Annalise Bridal Boutique in December 2020 for my August 2021 wedding in Lexington, VA. It was kind of a bummer of a time to be shopping for a dress and planning a wedding because of covid. With that being said, the ladies at Annalise were very kind and accomodating. The service was helpful, informative, and professional. The selection of dresses was large and impressive. They had many beautiful, high-quality options. They provided a lot of good recommendations for styles and silhouettes to try as well as how to style the dress with shoes, accessories, hairstyle, and veil. The overall experience was a positive one. -

This bridal boutique was the most intimate, gorgeous, and accommodating place to buy a wedding dress! Both of the ladies had a set of dresses hand-picked based on my preferences before I even arrived. I was able to try on all the dresses I liked and more! Even though my entourage could not touch the dresses, they were able to point to the one's they liked and I was able to try them on. I had the most amazing experience at Annalise and I found MY DREAM DRESS!!! -

Lindsey was the absolute best. I flew from Texas to Virginia where my mom is stationed in the military. Due to the military travel restriction at her specific base she was not able to travel to Texas to help me pick out my dream dress. I refused to go dress shopping if my mom couldn't be there. I reached out to Annalise Bridal Boutique when I got the idea, if my mom can't come to me Ill go to her and pick my dress out. I knew I wanted to try on the Tommy from Made With Love and Annalise Bridal was the only place that had these dresses. I am so thankful I ended up flying to Virginia to try on my dress, they had all the Made With Love dresses, I tried on 6-8 dresses without feeling rushed. I loved that I was able to be the only bride in the boutique. I picked out the perfect dress and I can't wait to pick it up in 8 weeks!! Thank you Lindsey for making me feel comfortable the entire time, little did you know I hate trying on clothes, but you made the entire process something I will forever cherish and I am so thankful I was able to have my mama with me! -

Intimate, beautiful boutique and memorable experience
Annalise was the very first place I went to try on wedding dresses! The boutique is quaint and intimate with beautiful chandeliers and spacious dressing rooms. As soon as we came in, Hannah had five initial dresses displayed that that fit my vision and preferences. As we tried each dress on, Hannah was very knowledgeable/flexible in pulling various styles until we found our favorites. Hannah was so sweet, helpful, and professional. She even remembered the names of my guests and involved them in the experience :) Another good thing to note is that the boutique is very COVID-conscious to ensure all guests and employees are safe during the process -

So I went in and was looking for a specific designer. Hannah pulled great dresses. I realized I wasn’t as over the moon with the original designer I went for. She pulled a dress she thought I would love even though it wasn’t what I pictured. Boy was she right! I fell in love with it and ended up buying that day. Hannah was amazing and definitely found the career path that she was made for. Highly recommend going to see her -

I had such a great time at Annalise Bridal! The ladies working there are all so sweet and helpful! I appreciated that they are one of few boutiques that actually show their dress inventory online, so I had my list of try-ons beforehand! They had all my selected dresses already pulled waiting for me in the dressing room. And they were kind and professional enough to set the ones that were out of my budget aside to show and inform me pricing before putting it on. That was SO appreciated, especially for brides really trying to stick to a budget. I instantly fell in love with a blush by miss Hayley Paige gown! Lindsey the owner instantly knew what veil I love with it. And as soon as she put it on, it was a wrap! Thanks ladies, y’all are really the best in the business! -

Poornika Sent on 01/09/2020The BEST Wedding Dress Shopping Experience Ever
I'll start by saying that I did not find my gown at Annalise Bridal. That being said, I still think that my appointment at Annalise Bridal has probably been my favorite wedding dress shopping experience out of the three stores in total that I visited. Nowhere else I went made me feel as special and pampered as the people at Annalise did. First, I had requested to have five people come to my appointment with me. I knew that it was a pretty big size for my party, so I let them know the size of my party ahead of time and they were completely okay with it. Second, I decided to change the date of my appointment. To do that, I sent them an email, and they replied very quickly and kindly allowed me to change my date. Third, they ask everyone to complete a consultation online before their appointment. I truly think that this made a difference in my appointment because my consultant seemed to have a solid understanding of what I wanted from the get-go. More on that later.
When my party and I arrived, we had to ring a doorbell to enter the store since the door is locked. I think they do this so that you only have one appointment's worth of people in the store at a time. That is a GREAT touch because that means there is no one else in the store to distract you, your guests, or your consultant. As soon as we entered, I was greeted by name by my consultant, who was the absolute sweetest person I have ever met. She immediately asked us if we would like anything to drink and gave us all champagne. We also brought our own bottle of champagne, which they kept refrigerated for us until we were ready for it. Then she showed us all of the racks of dresses and how they were separated (ie. ballgowns on one rack, mermaid on another, etc). She let us pick whatever gowns we wanted, and she also picked out a couple to start with as well. She was very mindful of my budget, and she did a great job of picking out gowns I liked. I had said in my consultation that I loved Hayley Paige ballgowns, so she stuck to those. She helped me change in and out of each gown, and she didn't make me feel uncomfortable about being in my bra and underwear around her. She also clipped my gowns really well so that they fitted me well. That helped me envision how they would actually look after alterations. There are also a lot of windows near the pedestal and mirrors, so there was a ton of light to help me see the dresses I was trying on. What I really liked was that she talked to me a lot about my wedding and my fiance while she was helping me get dressed. I am getting married near York, Pennsylvania, and coincidentally she was from that area (not sure if this was a total coincidence or if they had assigned her as my consultant based on this information from my consultation - either way, it helped us connect more, and that was awesome). As the appointment went on, she continued to pull more dresses for me based on the comments I made, and the gowns she picked out really did get closer and closer to what I wanted. She also let my guests and I go back through the racks again to make sure we hadn't missed anything the first time. In total, I tried on 11 gowns in the span of 2 hours. I couldn't believe how much time they gave me; nowhere else I went let me stay for that long. I never felt like I was in a rush, so I was able to really take my time to look at a gown, evaluate what I liked and disliked about it, and consider my guests' opinions. My consultant never made me feel pressured into picking a gown that day and even said that I could come back again another time since they're always getting new dresses in. This is really important. Do NOT ever let anyone pressure you into picking a gown. My consultant never made me feel like I was being a burden or like I was complaining too much about the dresses I was trying on. I could tell that she genuinely just wanted me to have a wonderful experience and to not settle for anything that wasn't perfect for me. She even looked into the possibility of having a gown customized by the designer to see if I would like it better that way, and the store sent me a photo of an example of the customization about a week after my appointment. I still decided I didn't love the gown even with the customization, but the people at Annalise did not seem upset by that at all. One last thing I would like to add is that I live about 5-6 hours away from Richmond, but my parents live in Richmond. The reason I scheduled this appointment was so that my parents would be able to easily make it to my appointment. That 5-6 hour drive was SO worth it because I really felt like I got the best wedding dress shopping experience ever here. Whether or not you live in Richmond, I highly recommend Annalise Bridal to anyone who wants to have a pampering, relaxing, not stressful, fun, and informative wedding dress shopping experience. Even though I have found my gown elsewhere, I wish I could go back to Annalise just to relive it all again. -

Annalise Bridal exceeded ALL of my expectations. I truly did not expect to find the perfect dress at my very first gown shopping stop, but I did! I actually miss my dress and cannot wait til I get to try it on again. Hannah and Emily were PERFECT. They were patient, knowledgeable, and fun to be around. They gave me the best experience. Lindsey and her shop were absolutely amazing during my bridal gown purchasing experience. This place is really different in the fact that you book the ENTIRE boutique to yourself for your appointment. This makes you feel completely comfortable and at ease during a very important experience! They have so many amazing dresses to chose from that can fit all body types and styles. Everyone was also so polite, kind, helpful and lovely to my mother and MOH during the experience! THEN after I had purchased the dress, Lindsey helped me to find my amazing alterations shop and she hand-delivered my veil so that it would be there for my fittings! I highly highly recommend because without Lindsey and Annalise bridal I would not have found my dream dress. THANK YOU!! -

Annalise was our 3rd bridal shop that we visited inside of 24 hours. Our daughter tried on SO many dresses, but we found the perfect dress at Annalise. Once she put it on, we all just stopped and stared for a minute--we couldn't help ourselves. She had found The Dress. We paired it with a long veil, and the results were simply stunning. -

Having the entire boutique to myself with only my Mother and closest friends was amazing and created such a comfortable atmosphere. The first dress I tried on, I fell in LOVE with. Of course I tried on like 15 other dresses, but man, the first dress I tried on was perfect and this dress was a dress I told myself I would never get!! How crazy. Kim is the sweetest. We were able to bring champagne and food plus I invited 7 people!! They are also on top of things, and messaged me to get fitted which is great because with wedding planning things just slip your mind. -

With my dad's recent passing, I have put wedding dress shopping to the back of my to-do list because I knew it would make it all feel so real. I went back and forth and cancelled at other places at least twice before finally deciding to go for it. I was greeted by a wedding planner, and middle school mutual friend who ended up knowing that I was going to get engaged before I did because of her connections at Upper Shirley (where my fiancé worked at the time) and I knew that I was in for a treat. I went through at least 20 dresses and ended up with a top 3. When I finally decided I had chosen the one, Hannah helped me put it back on to show my family and she immediately smiled and said "I am so happy that you chose this one. I don't know if you realized but you got emotional the first time that you put it on." Being a non-emotional person, I immediately was like "what do you mean?" and she said she saw my face light up and saw me fight back tears (that I didn't even notice until she brought it up). I tried to deny it and she said "Don't you remember I asked if you were okay?" and I had just thought she was checking to make sure I wasn't overwhelmed or if I needed anymroe champagne. This is the kind of compassionate, caring, and thoughtful people that Annalise Bridal has to help you pick your dream wedding dress. They truly care that you get what you want and are not concerned with up-charging or making money from your very private experience. I will definitely recommend them to every friend that I have getting engaged in the next few years! -

I don’t even know where to begin but to say that they were AMAZING! I walked in nervous and second guessing what kind of dress I wanted to wear on my wedding day. I tried on (and re-tried on) dress after dress and I never once felt pressured to purchase it make a decision. Emily was my stylist and did more than just zip up the dress. She took multiple photos and even held my phone so we could FaceTime my sister. I ended up going home with no dress after my first visit so I could sleep on my decision and when I left they never once made me feel like I wasted their time. I came back two days later and Lindsey was nothing but helpful! Again never felt pressured to purchase but I did end up saying yes to the perfect dress. Their selection is enough to visit... but it’s their customer service that truly sets them apart!! Thank you!! -

I have been walking past Annalise since they opened their shop and every time I told myself, this is where I'm going to go when I'm searching for a wedding gown. The space is so beautiful, the perfect backdrop for the most beautiful gowns. Lindsey and Jax are also fantastic. On my first visit I tried on many gowns and narrowed down a favorite but didn't commit because it wasn't what I'd had in mind. On my second visit we discussed ways to alter the dress to make it fit my vision but in the end, the dress won my heart and I went with it just the way it was. If you are looking for a stress free and FUN experience, definitely visit Annalise! -

Lindsey was an absolute joy to work with. She listened to my desires and made suggestions accordingly - but more importantly, she pushed me a little outside of my preconceived ideas in order to help me find my perfect dress. When you make an appointment at Annalise, you get a whole two hours in the salon to yourself, just you and your girls. This meant that my girls (one of whom studied fashion in Milan for years) got to go through the dresses and pick some out. That same bridesmaid actually found what turned out to be my dream dress.
The dress we picked out was not exactly what I wanted - in particular, the lace top was too busy, and I wanted an illusion top with a little less lace. Lindsey listened to me and made suggestions for customizations. She had wonderful ideas, and really seemed to understand my vision. Once the dress arrived, her staff took care of me and put me in contact with Fariba at Fariba’s Alterations. From there, I was able to craft the dress of my dreams. I could not be happier with how my dress turned out, and that is in large part due to Lindsey’s diligence and creativity. I definitely recommend Annalise to any bride that is looking for her dream dress! -

My group and I were able to talk over potential dresses with ease and always had the staffs undivided attention. I tried to be as clear and concise as possible when describing my dream dress and they hit the nail on the head with each one they helped me pull. This made me feel like the staff was actually listening to what I was saying, and weren’t just trying to sell me a dress. I honestly didn’t think I’d have success in finding “the one” anywhere because I’m so indecisive. But I put on my dream gown and actually had “the moment” where my eyes welled with tears. I fell in love with the back AND the front! Although it took me a few days to come back and officially say YES, Lindsey let me try on the dress one more time to solidify the best decision I’ve made so far. I never thought that wedding dress shopping would be the highlight of my journey to our big day, but the women at Annalise quickly made those moments into sweet memories. I would recommend them one hundred times over!
