Perfect choice
My husband and I absolutely hate posing for pictures and don’t enjoy being the center of attention, so we weren’t sure how we would feel being photographed on our wedding day. I was really nervous about posing and capturing all of those little moments. From our initial consultation, to our engagement photos, and now our wedding photos, we could not be more stunned by how beautiful of a job Anna does. We did her platinum package and she captured every photo I could possibly ask for and they were all stunning. Her expertise, attention to detail, responsiveness, and passion for what she does are just a few of the reasons I would recommend her to anyone. We were so surprised our wedding photos were ready only 1.5 weeks after! We received an online album and flash drive with all our wedding day photos on it, and it was such an easy process to then share our album with friends and family. Anna is a wonderful photographer! We did a whole package with her and from our first sit down to the engagement photos to the big day everything went perfectly! We received our photos for both of our shoots what feels like immediately after! We had so much fun going through all of the pictures and saw details at our reception we didn’t even notice the day of. It was so nice to go back and see every little moment in our day captured ! She was so experienced and was so great giving directions to the wedding party when it came to getting all of the shots quickly and efficiently! If you are thinking about hiring Anna Thielen Photography, DO IT!
My husband and I's original destination wedding plans got cancelled due to COVID. We got married in an intimate ceremony with our immediate families only and planned a large celebrate (about 175 people in attendance) in six weeks when everything started opening up. Anna was so quick to reply and although we hired her last minute, it felt like I had known her for years!
The photographer from the event, Felicia, called me multiple times before the party to make sure she had a list of all the specific shots we wanted to make sure to get. She made getting all the people together for the different photos look easy!
Most importantly, the photos came back extremely fast. It was soooo fun looking at all the photos from the church blessing, to the action shots on the dance floor. I cannot say enough, hire them, you will not be disappointed!

Anna provided awesome photography service for our wedding. Our big wedding got postponed due to Covid and Anna was SO accomodating, helpful and just made us feel at ease during an extra stressful time due to the unpredictability of this year. She was very professional from day one, but was also warm and personable. She got us our finalized pictures unbelievably fast and they turned out better than I could have imagined (my husband and I are not the best picture people) she captured both our small wedding and our big reception beautifully it’s hard to pick which photos are our favorite. We love them all! It was such a reasonable cost for the quality and variety of the photos. We would highly recommend Anna for your wedding!

Anna did such an amazing job being my photographer for my wedding!she also did my engagement pictures as well. Due to covid I had to make some changes to my wedding and Anna was very accommodating and understanding. She was able to give me a sneak peak of some photos the day after my wedding! She also was able to get the rest of all my photos to me within just a couple weeks! They all turned out so beautiful! I loved all of my pictures ! Such a wonderful experience! There are many stresses that come with planning a wedding, and Anna made it so that hiring a photographer wasn't one of them. Perfect Wedding photos
Anna made wedding planning so much easier! When hiring a photographer I wanted the best of the best so I can be able to look back at my pictures and be amazed every single time. I cannot stop looking at my wedding pictures, Anna did an absolutely amazing job. She makes sure every detail is perfect for all of her shots! I plan on using Anna again in the future.

Anna is a dream to work with! She started with our engagement shoot and the photos were so amazing. She is incredibly flexible and willing to accommodate. We included our kids in our engagement session and the family memories that she created will be enjoyed for a lifetime. I have not gotten my full file back with all my images but she put out a sneak peak of the images the following day and they are so beautiful. She uses the light and surrounding to really frame the photo and has really delivered on such an important date. I also really like that her packages are flexible. I was not looking to get a photo album with my pictures but instead just wanted all the edited files. She has an option to accommodate this unlike many of the large companies that require you buy an album. I will say in my initial meeting she brought along some of her albums and they are truly beautiful for anyone who is looking to buy one. I highly recommend Anna if you are looking for a reasonably priced photographer that delivers high quality photos. When the day is done, all you will have left are your photos and your memories so it is important that you have a photographer that not only meets expectations but exceeds them, Anna does this!

Due to rainy weather, Anna was SO accommodating and flexible with us when it came to scheduling our engagement shoot. On our wedding day we couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day! Anna was at the correct location and on time! She was so personable with both of our families and our wedding party. She knew all the right shots to take and kept the day moving smoothly! After seeing our wedding pictures, I was thrilled with how they turned out! She caught so many moments that my husband and I weren't even able to see happen during the day. I'm so grateful we chose Anna Thielen Photography to capture our December 2016 wedding. When booking, my priorities were balancing quality and budget and also working with someone where we were guaranteed to know who our photographer was before the week of our wedding (versus some of the larger photography companies who assign you someone last minute). I was really impressed by Anna's quality of work and down to earth style. Her prices were very reasonable compared to other photographers at her caliber. I'm really grateful Anna offers a complementary engagement session because this was a great way to get to know her before our wedding day.
Leading up to our wedding day, Anna was easy to reach via email and phone to discuss some questions I had leading up to our wedding day. Anna was willing to take a list of "must take photos" that we had, and ensured those all were captured. On the day of the wedding, Anna was so poised, professional, organized and helpful. She was a fount of photo ideas to capture every moment without being intrusive. We had a large 200+ wedding, and she was so patient as we took extended family pictures. I am touched by how kind Anna was to our big crazy families! She was in frequent communication with our parents and wedding party to ensure everything was being captured.
As a December bride, I was nervous about how the weather and limited daylight might affect my picture opportunities. My husband and I decided to do a first look, and Anna beautifully set-up and captured those precious moments. Also, we were fortunate to have some beautiful winter weather that day. As my husband and I were busy visiting and dancing during our reception, Anna pulled us outside at the opportune moment for some nighttime silhouette photos as it was snowing. These photos turned out absolutely gorgeous.

If you're considering booking Anna as your photographer, stop considering, and book her. She is unbelievable. Anna photographed my husband's three sister's weddings over the last ten years, and he was insistent we hire her. Now, I'm very particular about how I wanted our photos. I didn't want everything to look posed, I wanted to try a few different things, and I wasted a lot of time looking into other photographers. After comparing prices and service, I gave in and chose Anna and now regret waiting so long to do so. She was so accommodating with booking our engagement session, she has such an eye for things, and she will tell you if a single hair is out of place or if your necklace has turned on you. Before the wedding, she learned everyone's names.
Our wedding was 2.5 hours from where Anna lives and this was her first time photographing our venue, which made me very nervous. Not only did Anna come early and explore every nook and cranny of that venue, she was able to see shots that the regular photographers might have missed as she came into it with fresh eyes. Now all of this isn't even the best part. The day after our wedding, 90 of our photos were edited and posted. ONE WEEK LATER all 2000 pictures were done. I know friends who were married 6 months ago that still don't have their pictures back. Her turnaround time is UNBELIEVABLE, and the quality of the photos was not compromised in any way. Anna is a fabulous photographer, is very reasonably priced, very professional, and will not disappoint.

Anna is AMAZING! I informed her I was planning this wedding from a distance and that we wouldn't make an engagement session that she offers in her wedding package. So she offered me extra time and a canvas print!! She was an absolute joy to work with. Very flexible and is amazing at her job. I warned her that my husband is not a picture person but she made it work for him! Loved working with her. I loved that when we were going to the tables to take pictures as we were greeting/saying goodbye to people after getting the picture she would have the next table up and moving into place. Anna Thielen is an amazing photographer! We met her first when she worked on another family wedding and knew that we had to have her photograph our wedding. She knows her craft; knows how to get those wonderful pictures that will last a lifetime. Her prices are very fair and the quality is beyond-superb. She is a no-nonsense professional that will make your photography session worth your while and will provide you with pictures that will make you jump for joy. She offers engagement sessions too and I highly recommend to brides and grooms to definitely take her up on this offer as it gives you time to know her style and for her to see the love between the couple- this all comes through in the pictures. She is courteous, on-time, funny and really gets you the pictures you want for your occasion. I know for me, I will cherish the pictures forever. My husband and I were so happy with Anna and her photography skills. I would absolutely recommend her for any of your photographic needs. She takes whatever direction you want and at the same time, knows exactly what you need (without asking her). She captures both still an action shots. I cannot think of a better person to know and to have as a photographer! I highly recommend you choosing Anna Thielen of Anna Thielen Photography- you will not be disappointed!

Anna is wonderful to work with! She did a great job at our wedding. It was really important to me to find a great photographer because after the wedding all you have left to remember it by are the pictures. She did not disappoint! She was very professional and knew what she was doing. She did not miss a shot, and the pictures turned out beautifully! Her pricing is the best around, and she got our pictures back to us within a week or 2. I would definitely use Anna again for any future events.

Unfortunately Anna Thielen was unable to photograph my wedding, but she did photograph my engagement photos (which turned out wonderful!!) Two photographers who work with Anna photographed my wedding, and they did a phenomenal job. They were right on time (even willing to come early or stay late if needed), knew what photos would look great (they were willing to show me the photos from their camera if one turned out beautiful!), and were so personable. I really enjoyed my time being with them, and I cannot wait to receive my album showcasing my special day!

So many pictures to choose from! Well priced and wonderful selection! Our only concern was how much focus was on the dancefloor. There aren't many pictures of the rest of the people from the wedding, which makes our reception look like there were only 20 people in attendance. If I had known, I would have asked her to move around and get pictures of everyone socializing, not just the dancing.

We booked Anna for our wedding photography and included in her services was a complimentary engagement session. We were so excited about this and finally the day came to take our photos which turned out amazing! So many compliments on the photography that we couldn't wait to use for our Save the Dates. I can't wait until next July to see what shots she will take for our wedding.

Anna was wonderful to work with! She quickly responded to any and all emails/text messages/phone calls, and was always professional and friendly. We got wonderful outdoor wedding pictures despite light rain and cold weather. Anna was more than willing to work through the conditions to get the pictures we wanted. They turned out bright and beautiful, and you would never guess that it was raining. She consistently checked in with us to make sure that we were getting all the moments we wanted documented. I would definitely recommend her to anyone searching for a wonderful wedding photographer!

I randomly stumbled across Anna's website when searching for wedding photographers, and I am so happy that I did. She was absolutely wonderful to work with! She did both my engagement and wedding photos and we could not be happier with how they turned out; I have also gotten so many compliments on our wedding pictures from both guests and the wedding and non-guests. She is efficient, professional, and open to suggestions of any poses we wanted to try. Very flexible with making meetings work. Very fast turn around for engagement and wedding photos (our wedding was on a Saturday and the following Tuesday she texted me that the photos were done) and she gives you the rights and the edited images, which is really really nice. Overall I am so happy that I found Anna Thielen and plan to go back to her in the future for family photos :)

I absolutely loved Anna. She was fantastic to work with. She had lots of great ideas and she made us feel very comfortable. She made sure we got every photo we wanted on our wedding day and reminded us of photos we should get.
When we met this Anna she was very honest and answered all our questions. After booking her she kept in contact and gave great recommendations. With our booking we received a free engagement sessions. She recommended a few places and we chose one and we met and again, she made us feel so comfortable and she really captured our personalities in the photos. She had my photos back to me within 2 weeks. She texted when she mailed them and checked in with me to make sure I liked them.
We also booked a second photographer for our wedding day and he was fantastic. I would highly recommend getting both. We got some great shots and it was great to have another creative eye. Having 2 made it very easy to get through our family shots quickly and we're able to get more of just my husband and myself. Our 2nd photographer was also extremely easy to work with and worked great along with Anna.
Along with a 2nd photographer we booked a photo booth through Anna. It was also amazing! They were very affordable. We received a memory book and a copy of every photo taken. It was an open booth and they provided props; which were great. The attendant was friendly and my guests spoke very highly of him as well as the photo booth. It was worth the extra expense.
I cannot say enough great things about Anna. She had my 1400+ photos edited and available for viewing online within 2 weeks and she texted me when she mailed our flash drive; which I received 24 hours later and had our photo release attached. (We own the rights to our photos)
I could not have asked for a better person to work with. I will definitely have her doing all my important photos!

I would definitely recommend Anna Thielen Photography - she is very detail oriented and professional when it comes to pictures. I was impressed by her creativity and all the shots she captured throughout the wedding. Her turnaround time for sending back proofs is amazing too.

It was such a pleasure to work with Anna for our wedding. We chose her after viewing her website and seeing all the beautiful and unique pictures she has taken. She was very prompt when responding to calls and made everything very easy and simple. She was so easy to work with and was nice and friendly to everyone. I feel like she really captured both of our personalities in the pictures she took. Our wedding was in January so for our pictures we were in the snow and it was a bit chilly out. Anna never rushed anything. She always asked me or my husband if we wanted to take anymore pictures before she wrapped up. It was also great that she releases all of the photos to you. We received our pictures 6 days after our wedding and received the flashdrive 7 days after the wedding! I highly recommend her for anyone looking for a photographer and I will definitely be going to her for any future events.

We had a great experience with using Anna Thielen for our photography services. After meeting with Anna, we knew that she was the one we wanted to book to help create the special memories from our wedding. The complimentary engagement session included with the wedding package was an added bonus! Anna was professional and patient with our specific photo requests throughout the day. She has a great eye for detail- making sure everything was perfect in each photo. My wife and I are extremely happy that we chose Anna as the photographer for our wedding. Anna is very kind, professional, and skilled at her trade. She took well over 1,100 pictures on our wedding day, lasting from 11am to 10pm, and being a pleasure to work with the whole day through. Anna took a variety of photos, giving us an opportunity to sort through to find the ones we love the most. She helped us and our family/friends pose for shots and was always a pleasure to work with. Anna was extremely responsive on e-mails, phone calls, and text messages, which really helped when we were stressing about getting things organized just so. Anna included in her price an engagement photos session which was a real pleasure. Not only did we get some great photos from that session, but we also got used to her photography style in advance of the wedding. Lastly, and definitely one of the most important reasons we chose Anna Thielen, is the fact that she released the rights to the photos that she took of us. This was one of the key reasons we chose her, since many photographers refuse to give up those rights and want to charge you a fortune for photos even after you've paid a small fortune just for them to take the photos. Anna provided considerable value not just in providing us with those photo rights, but also in being a fantastic photographer, organized professional, and lovely person. We would definitely recommend Anna to all of our friends and family for their special events.

Anna was so great and fun during my wedding! My bridesmaids kept throwing ideas for pictures at her and she rolled right along and the pictures came out amazing! By the time that I returned from my honeymoon, she had posted many pictures to my Facebook, a few days after that she emailed the link for the edited pictures and within 2 days I had the flash drive! So quick and the pictures were amazing!! Will use her again for any other photography needs!

Anna was absolutely amazing this past Saturday as the photographer for our wedding. She was early to start and even stayed a bit later to capture some memorable pictures. From the start, she was easy to work with and did a great job capturing our engagement pictures in the summer (which were complimentary!). She knows her stuff that's for sure! Anna had our pictures to us within days of the wedding (I just received the flashdrive in the mail today and our wedding was just 5 days ago) and even put up a few sneak peeks that night!
