Great Photographer!

Anna and her second shooter, Tara, were so fun for our wedding. They made us feel very comfortable and their photos were amazing. My original photographer cancelled on us last minute and Anna saved the day. She even found time to shoot a mini engagement shoot during the Dallas ice storm. She really went above and beyond! Highly recommend!

Talented Photographer, Beautiful results

Anna is fantastic! She is so easy to work with, made us feel comfortable during our engagement photos as well as on our wedding day. She has a great eye for beauty and knows how to adjust to different types of lighting and angles. She's open to suggestions too if you have certain shots or locations your want. You get what you pay for and she is worth every dollar.

Such a Talented and Sweet Woman

When I first found Anna’s photos, I fell in love. We spoke on the phone and I was truly nervous that we might not click, because I wanted to hire her so bad. But personalities mean the world to me. Speaking to her about our love story, what we were looking for and questions we had was phenomenal. I couldn’t have picked a kinder or more talented soul!

Anna was amazing

Anna is the best. I'm very picky about photos in general and never quite feel comfortable in front of the camera, however Anna blew me away!!! She is very talented, especially amazing when it comes to black and white and has the best demeanor - which made me feel like I was just taking some fun pictures with a good friend. Again, she is the best and i would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone!

One of the best vendors of my reception

This is a belated review. I am really glad I found Anna to take our reception photos. Our gathering is small yet intimate. Anna managed to bring out the best of everyone. The pictures are proudly displayed in the living room.

I had a really poor makeup "artist" who did a very horrible job on my face. I was all worried that the pictures will turn out poorly. But the final pictures looked really good. She saved my picture from the horrible makeup.

I would highly recommend Anna to all the ladies out there.

Best of the best

From the moment I met Anna (via FaceTime late at night due to planning my wedding out of state) I knew she was going to be one of my favorite vendors I picked for our day. She is so down to earth and easy to work with. We got married in November and didn’t do a first look, so relying on taking pictures outside after the wedding felt a little risky. Anna was SUCH A PRO at making sure we got plenty of pictures with the little daylight we had, and was so efficient during group photos. I think we somehow were even done with pictures ahead of schedule and got a few extra gems at the end!
On top of that, she had our pictures edited SO FAST. I mean, you hear stories of brides having to wait months for their edits- but not with Anna. She had them back within weeks, beautifully edited, and I was even able to gift pictures to family for Christmas!
Long story short, Anna won MVP of the wedding weekend when my family voted, and I’ll never be able to fully explain how thankful I am for her hard work and beyond beautiful photos on our wedding day!

Anna's work is absolutely spectacular. We booked her services for our engagement photos, boudoirs and wedding day photography. I have never "loved" myself in photos but, Anna was able to capture images that my husband and I both absolutely ADORE and truly capture the essence of "us". I was extremely nervous at the beginning of the boudoir session but, Anna was able to help me relax and made the experience fun! On the business side, Anna was reasonably accessible, she helped me stay organized and gave me a "head's up" any time we approached deadlines for photo selection etc. We absolutely plan on using Anna again in the future!!!

Anna Smith is amazing and is super fun to work with. My husband and I initially made an appointment with Anna for just our engagement photos in Dallas. We were really nervous because we hardly ever take pictures of ourselves. Our nerves were quickly calmed because she is extremely friendly and we felt like we’ve known her forever. She was really good with giving us direction. The photos came out more beautiful than we could ever imagine. We ended up asking her to be our wedding photographer for our wedding in California.

Anna was very accommodating and very professional. She worked well with our wedding planner during the weeks leading up to the wedding. Our wedding planner and videographers had a lot of good things to say about her. We highly recommend Anna Smith to anyone looking for a photographer. She is very friendly and professional, as well as accommodating and responsive to all our questions and concerns.

Words cannot describe how happy I am that we went with Anna for our photographer! Immediately after I met with Anna I knew she should be our photographer. She had such an awesome vibe, one that made you feel comfortable when you are awkwardly trying to describe what you are going for when you have different ideas for both your bridals and your actual event. I sent her tears and ideas for bridals and she immediately sent a location that was beyond perfect! She is absolutely efficient with her time in getting the right shots, with the right people and with an awesome attitude. Through out our event she was literally everywhere, capturing all of the most perfect moments without even knowing she was there! We are only 3 weeks out and have seen so many amazing sneak peaks, posts and blogs of our images already. It has been so fun to send and share with all of our family and friends. Both my husband and I are so thankful for her beautiful work and quick responses! You are missing out if you don't go with Anna!

Anna is such an amazing photographer! She is very easy to work with and makes you feel comfortable. From engagement pictures, bridals, and the wedding photos I would choose her time and time again. Photography was something I really wanted to splurge on for my wedding day, so I took plenty of time searching and searching for the right photographer. I found Anna and immediately LOVED her work. When we first met, I knew I had to work with her. She is professional, but I felt like I had known her forever. She did a boudoir shoot with me as a part of my photo package, and I've never felt more at ease and beautiful. Boudoir was not something I'd ever thought I'd do, but she is such a pro and told me exactly what to do and I felt so comfortable! When it came to our wedding day, I knew I didn't have a thing to worry about. She is so efficient and knows what she is doing and is confident in making sure people are where they are suppose to be. My husband was so impressed with her and how she really ran things to keep everything moving. Our photos turned out STUNNING, and i've gotten so many compliments already. I'm so glad that I will be able to look back at our pictures for years to come, and they will always be timeless and beautiful. I love Anna, and I'd love to work with her again in the future for family photos. I'd recommend her to anyone! She is fantastic, not to mention during all the weddings, lifestyle and boudoir shoots she worked full time as a P.A. She's got some mad skills!

I hired Anna to take my engagement pictures, bridal portraits, and wedding pictures. I was looking for a photographer who was affordable, but still offered professional-quality pictures. I stumbled upon Anna's website and from the second I contacted her it was so easy and she was so wonderful to work with! She texted me right away rather than emailing, which was awesome and felt a lot more personal (important when you're counting on someone to get to know the two of you and the shots you want)!

If you have seen any of Anna's work, you know how incredible her photos are. Every shot she sent me looked like it could have been on the cover of a magazine. Anna did not miss a thing at the wedding. I decided to save a bit of money and go with the single photographer option rather than having her bring an assistant and she still managed to capture everything.

The night after we took our pictures (engagement, bridals, and wedding) she sent me 5-10 sneak peek shots and then sent me all of the pictures only TWO DAYS later (for engagements and bridals). This is truly incredible if you have been around any other wedding photographers who often take months to get these shots back. And she was so available to answer any of my questions and update me on when I could expect my pictures. When Anna shot our wedding, she posted a few pictures to her instagram and facebook that evening and then the day after we got home from the honeymoon (ONE WEEK) after our wedding she sent us the link to view ALL OF OUR WEDDING PICTURES on her website. And just one week after that I received emails with all of the digital prints. TWO WEEKS AFTER THE WEDDING AND I HAVE ALL OF MY WEDDING PICTURES. She is seriously incredible. She also works as a full time physician assistant and still managed to get me my pictures back in record time. That's as good as it gets. I absolutely could not be happier that we chose Anna to capture our wedding. Best decision I made for our big day.

I can't say enough positive things about Anna and her photos. We hired her to photograph my bridal portraits and the wedding, and couldn't have been happier with the pictures. Not only is she incredibly fun and professional to work with, but her photos are amazing and truly speak for themselves. I love how she uses natural lighting and unique shots/angles. My biggest fear and consideration when finding a photographer, was ensuring our pictures weren't corny or looked overdone - that was never the case with Anna. Her photos are fresh and beautiful - all of my family and friends even commented on how beautiful the pictures turned out. I hope to use Anna again in the future for any other photography needs, and would recommend her in a heartbeat.

Anna Smith did such a great job on not only my bridal pictures but also my wedding pictures. She is very calm and collected, which is nice to have on a not so calm day! She stays in the background and does not interfere with the scheduled events.

Her work is also amazing.... out of all the bridal and wedding pictures there is not one image I do not like. Everything turned out perfectly!!! She was also able to send us some sneak peaks at pictures just a few days after the wedding. I also had my disk with all the images within a few weeks if I remember correctly! She was SUPER fast :). LOVE LOVE LOVE her work.

Finding a wedding photographer was the first major decision my husband and I made for our wedding. I remember finding so many photographers, but I kept coming back to Anna's website. After meeting her our decision was made. I felt like Ive known her forever. (Although she is way too cool to be my friend lol) She is extremely passionate and knowledgeable about photography. I felt completely comfortable with her during all of our photoshoots together.

We are completely blown away with our pictures. Anna is worth every penny we paid. You will not be disappointed when you book her!

Anna completely exceeded my expectations as our engagement and wedding photographer. She is so sweet, accommodating, funny, caring, and provides amazing work for a great price. She took our engagement photos and had them to us the next morning, and mailed the CD to us within the week. I had my first boudoir photo session ever with her and she was supportive and encouraging and made me feel 100% comfortable. She took my bridal pictures and was very flexible with timing and location. She had the photos ready within the week and they were AMAZING! She took our wedding pictures on August 1st at a venue she had never visited before and captured so many sweet moments with my husband and I, with our bridal party, and our families and friends that we will now be able to relive for years to come. I cannot recommend Anna enough to anyone considering her as a wedding, engagement, or lifestyle photographer. She has amazing talent and is such a sweet person inside and out.

Anna was an excellent photographer. She was very flexible and made every shoot easy. I worked with Anna for my engagements, bridals, and wedding. I am a little uneasy having my photo taken, but Anna worked with me to make me and my husband feel comfortable. She was fun to work with. She was very quick to return the photos too. Many of my friends got married and waited months and months to get their photos, but Anna had them back within the week, crazy!! If you need a photographer, hire Anna!

Anna's work is what drew me in and then she was willing to work with my budget to cater to what I needed. She is simply awesome and so sweet!! I would recommend her to any and everyone. She also did our engagements and I LOVED the way they turned out and can not wait for her to do our wedding.

I wish I could give Anna Smith Photography 100 stars! When I first saw Anna's pictures on Wedding Wire I fell in love with her photos, I just felt I connected with her style and knew I wanted her. When I reached out to Anna she was booked for my date, I was bummed and started looking for someone else, a few weeks went by and Anna had a cancellation, it was like the stars aligned in my favor! :) I met with her the next day and signed a contract and never thought twice about it again. After the initial deposit, Anna allowed me to make payments which made budgeting 100 times easier! She was always available and answered any questions almost instantly, if not within the first 24 hours. I really can't say enough great things! My pictures turned out absolutely amazing, my family and friends are blown away by what we received. Everyone complimented how professional and sweet Anna was the day of. I received the most amazing photographs EARLIER than expected, she even sent me a couple while she was on vacation so I could get Christmas cards ordered. I could keep going and say a million more things about how wonderful Anna is, but I think her work speaks for itself!

We were so lucky to have Anna Smith photograph our wedding. She is a top notch photographer who not only has an incredible eye for amazing photos, but is also extremely friendly, attentive, and organized in the face of wedding day chaos. I'm blown away by how many high quality pictures we received.

This may not be the case as more people discover Anna's talent and she gets more busy, but she was able to share a few pictures within 48 hours and the full range of digital shots within 4 days. I've heard of couples waiting 9 months for pictures... that's crazy! Anna brings a passion to this work that you can tell translates into an admirable work ethic... there was never a moment where I didn't feel like Anna wasn't working hard to deliver the best photos for our big day.

I honestly could not imagine having a better experience and highly recommend that everyone give Anna Smith consideration when determining a photographer for your big day.

My husband and I spent months researching photographers for our wedding day. We were on a tight budget and couldn't afford to spend thousands on each part of our wedding, which is what we found everywhere we looked. We came across Anna's website and we were immediately impressed with the beauty of her photos. Once we met with her, we knew that she was who we wanted to work with. Over the next few months our planning our wedding we got to see other weddings and engagements that she photographed; we were in awe of the incrediable way she was able to capture these unforgettable moments.
When it came time for our own special day, she made us feel like the most important people in the world. She was focused, professional, kind, and kept us relaxed. Once we saw the pictures - all I can say is "Wow!" They are absolutely amazing! She captured every peice of our day in a way that when we look back on the pictures it feels as though we are back there again.
Anna is a sweet, genuine person who was so easy to work with. We will definitely use her again! If anyone is looking for a wedding photographer, she is not only affordable, she is the absolute best at what she does. I don't think anyone could have done a better job than she did.

My new husband and I met Anna playing beach volleyball at our resort in Riviera Maya while on our honeymoon. We didn't know of her amazing talent as a wedding photographer and mentioned how our camera battery died (I forgot the charger) and I was upset we wouldn't get nice pictures of us on the beach. Anna told us she's a wedding photographer in Dallas, had her professional equipment with her and she'd take pictures for us! I had no idea the pictures would turn out as amazing as they did! She's efficient and knows what she's doing! We took almost 50 pictures in about 25 minutes and I couldn't be happier with how they turned out. Obviously, this goes to show how nice and generous of a person is. I HIGHLY recommend her to capture the memories you'll cherish for a lifetime.

Out of all the vendors I used for my wedding, Anna Smith Photography was probably one of my favorites. Not only does she do amazing work, she is just incredibly personable. She completely reached out to us to get to know who we were as a couple. She is so nice and friendly! She is also incredibly thorough and timely. Compared to most photographers this should earn her 10 stars! It is incredible how difficult it can be to get timely replies from photographers. Anna is so organized and on top of things. She got our photo files to us in less than 3 weeks!!! That is absolutely unheard of!

Anna Smith ROCKED our world!!!!

Amazing! Unbelievable! Breathtaking! Wow! We used Anna Smith Photography as our wedding photographer. We were doing internet searches one day to find a good photographer and bumped into Anna's photo galleries. We were immediately astounded by the quality of her work and decided to contact her about photographing our Save the Date session and Wedding Reception. Since we had got married in India, we wanted a complete contrast style of celebration in the US. We explained this to Anna in our first meeting and she understood exactly what we were looking for. This gave us a good feeling and we signed her on the spot. Because we had a confidence in her ability to portray this contrasting style, we agreed to her only available date which became the official date of our wedding reception, June 14th, 2014. Anna is amazing. She is very kind and genuine and she knew exactly what to do, how to direct everyone and how to get amazing shots. She has an amazing eye for detail and I don't know that there are words to do justice to how beautiful our pictures are thanks to Anna Smith.

She captured beautiful candid shots and intimate moments without being obtrusive and the guests were all as impressed as we were! Amazing! Also, the service on the back end was always amazing. If ever I had any questions, Anna was so quick to respond and help out! We were able to view all 1000+ of our Save the Date and Reception pictures online within 1-2 days and the CDs arrived in the mail within a week of our reception. She is a delight to work with! Trust me - the quality and creativity is unbeatable! I would HIGHLY recommend Anna as a photographer. We look forward to her photographing our most treasured moments in the future too.

Anna was such a joy to work with! She shot both our (very last miniute) engagements and our wedding and I can not say enough wonderful things about her. She stayed in constant contact with us and was very easily accessible any time we needed her. The way she worked so well with my rather difficult and chaotic family was so comforting for me on my wedding day and I was able to relax and enjoy, trusting that my photos would be fabulous and they FAR exceeded our expectations.

There are so many great things I can say about Anna! But, I guess I'll keep it to a minimum. Anna is such an amazing photographer! She captured the most beautiful pictures of not only our wedding day but our engagement session as well! She worked with our budget and she really made an effort to get to know my husband and I. She truly has a passion for what she does, and that is clear in every picture she takes! Anna is kind, talented, and dedicated to her work! She was done editing our photos two days after our wedding! Anna is the best photographer!!!!! She is very professional, friendly and an all around great person. She is an absolute pleasure to work with. We were so thrilled with the engagement photos and wedding photos. She is EXTREMELY TALENTED!!!!! The turnaround was very quick...we had pictures within a day of our wedding and engagement session!!! We had Anna for the full day of wedding coverage, and she did a fabulous job! The photos were better than we ever could have imagined. I cannot recommend her enough to other Dallas area brides. Picking out a photographer was a challenge, because all you really see is the "highlight reel" on photographer's websites. You see their top photos out of the hopefully thousands shot. You don’t get to try them on and take them back if you don’t like them, once used you are stuck with what you’ve got or have to spend more money to try out another photographer.
What drew me to Anna Smith Photography was the creativity she displayed when capturing the engagement/wedding rings in her photos. As I continued to go through the photos on her site, I didn't just see pretty smiling portraits, but I saw moments captured in time. Her competitive prices and "highlight reel" had me sold. I went out on a limb when I hired Anna Smith Photography and can now boldly declare that the "highlight reel" is just as good as the full reel of photos that she took at first my engagement shoot. She was professional, sweet, good with direction, and produced stunning photos! I was so pleased that I then hired her for my bridal shoot and wedding! Her attention to detail and happy trigger finger left no moment uncaptured. She has an eye for details, moments, and angles that only a gifted person can find. Anna is an amazingly talented photographer! She's professional, courteous, punctual, efficient, and kind. My husband and I couldn't be more pleased with the way our photos turned out from the wedding. She wasn't intrusive and her ability to photograph in natural light is brilliant. Anna's photographed my wedding and my anniversary. Both experiences have been awesome and the photos... well they speak for themselves. I know first-hand how awkward taking photos can be! It can feel very unnatural for some people, like myself ;) but Anna works extremely hard to make you feel comfortable and amazing in photos. I'm sure she'll be included in my life's most precious moments for years to come.

Anna was great to work with and made out engagement photo shoot so much fun! She was very professional and attentive making sure we looked our best and catching all the perfect moments.

Anna did my Maternity and Newborn pictures, and they all turned out amazing! Anna is very talented and has such a creative eye to really capture special moments. Anna was a fantastic wedding photographer. We were planning a wedding from across the country. Having an engagement photo session with her a few months before the wedding was a great way for us to meet her and get comfortable with being photographed so much. Anna has a wonderful eye and picked great spots for us to be photographed around the church on our wedding day. She also was very willing to be flexible and ended up taking photos for a few hours at our rehearsal dinner as well. We highly recommend her for couples that are looking for a photographer that won't just give you the traditional posed wedding photos but will actually capture that personal moments that make your wedding so special.

Photo style: our photos are a mix between portraiture and fine arts. They are flawlessly beautiful photos. Pictures were crisp with beautiful lighting.

Creativity: Anna has an wonderful eye for poses, backgrounds, lighting, and the overall construction of the photo that she has in mind. She is talented and skilled photographer.

Professionalism: Anna is very professional, while remaining friendly and courteous to our families and guests. She maintained very good composure before and after the ceremony. I appreciate that she was so organized with all the key family members to make sure we have our family portraits and etc. Our outdoor ceremony was in the late afternoon of late October, so lighting and timing was important and she did a superb job of coordination with all the family members and friends.

Overall: We were so fortunate to have found Anna. She struck me as someone who truly enjoys working with couples and families, to give her clients the best of her abilities.
After seeing her portfolio and having gone through the engagement session, I had complete trust in Anna for our wedding day. I accidentally picked a very cold day in December 2014 for a "late autumn/winter" themed engagement session. Anna did not hesitate and followed through of working for two hours in the cold.
Anna is a very dedicated photographer, she worked tirelessly from early afternoon until the late evening of the wedding day. I can't say enough how much I appreciate her hard work.
We received our digital copies of our prints within a couple of weeks after the wedding. Our families and friends have nothing but compliments for her and her beautiful work.

Thanks so much for your dedication Anna. It means the world to us to have a beautiful set of photos on one of the most important days of our lives to look back upon.
