We had a great experience working with Anna Delores Photography! Our wedding photos and engagement photos are INCREDIBLE! Emily was wonderful to work with. She was our main point of contact leading up to the big day and edited our photos to perfection. We had so many questions (seriously, so many) and she answered every single one with patience. Emily is professional, experienced, so easy to talk to, and delivers such gorgeously edited photos that we will cherish for years to come.

Our lead photographer was Alyssa. We cannot sing Alyssa’s praises enough! Alyssa is so incredibly talented, so easy to get along with, and so much fun to work with. Before booking, she agreed to have a video chat with us so we could get to know her. We quickly realized how calming, easy going, and experienced she was and booked immediately. We then met with her for our engagement session and had such a fun time! She made us feel completely comfortable in front of the camera. She is a hype woman extraordinaire, alway encouraging us with compliments! We knew she was the perfect person to have beside us throughout our wedding day. And we were right! We so enjoyed having Alyssa there on our big day. She kept things running smoothly and on time, all the while making us feel so comfortable. She seamlessly guided us, the bridal party, and our family through all the photos during the day. She is a total professional and worked alongside our videographer in perfect teamwork (which is so important).

We were absolutely blown away by both our wedding and engagement photos! Alyssa captured STUNNING photos. It’s obvious that she has years and years of technical knowledge paired with a very gifted eye for beautiful and meaningful images. There's a reason they're number 1!

MY GOODNESS, how much time do you have to read this review, because I could sit here and talk all day about Emily and her absolutely incredible team. I will do my very best to keep it concise as I know how valuable time is for my fellow brides :)

My original wedding was planned for June of 2020, and I *magically* found Emily and Anna Delores via Pinterest. I was never a huge fan of wedding photos until I came across hers, and I immediately knew she was the girl for us. Just one conversation with Emily and I was sold - she is so incredibly professional, timely in her responses, made me feel at ease despite the mountain of work ahead of me, and even made recommendations to me about other vendors to use as I had mentioned I didn't have those secured just yet.
Of course, we all know what happened as of March of 2020. As I tried my hardest to hold out, by early May we could see very clearly that the wedding we had planned would no longer go forward. While our other vendors negotiated with us on our cancellation, Emily went above and beyond and told me that we could keep her reserved as our wedding photographer, and we just needed to let her know the new wedding date once it was confirmed. Even though I hadn't the faintest idea when that would be, I knew Emily did not have to do that for us. Just a glimpse into what a special human being she really is.
Shortly after my original wedding date, my dad passed away. This put my wedding on hold indefinitely, up until October 11th of this year. Throughout the 2+ years we waited, Emily became a good friend of mine, and the kindness and compassion she showed me during that time was so special and meant the world to me.
As soon as we picked our second, new wedding date, we reached out to Emily immediately to ensure she was available. Not only did she make the trip up from Santa Barbara to San Francisco, but she was just as excited as we were that the day was finally here! I must also note that while we added on coverage time with her, she did not charge us anything additional for keeping her on retainer, despite all the time that had passed.
The day of the wedding, Emily and her incredible assistant Malaya were absolute angels. They made the day so fun, helped us get over any nervousness, and their pictures are absolutely incredible. We got a sneak peek last week and my family and friends are still talking about them. It felt less like having two professional photographers at our wedding and more like we had two friends there that took the best pictures of us we could have asked for. I did not want them to leave and only wish I could relive our wedding day to spend more time with these remarkable women and their talent.
Rest assured, you won't find a better photographer and you'll walk away from your wedding day with a new friend, if you're as lucky as I was. Emily and team, thank you from the bottom of my heart for absolutely everything and for being the BEST!

Simply the best!

Working with Emily was hands down the best decision we made for our wedding day. She made us feel so comfortable and helped us loosen up, resulting in the most incredible images I've ever had of us. Our families and friends couldn't stop raving about how much they loved her too. We got our preview photos in just a day and cannot stop flipping through them. The best decision we made.

Contracting with Anna Delores Photography was hands down the best decision we made for our wedding. Anna Delores came to us through referral and experience – she shot my best friend’s wedding in 2019. At the time, owner Emily joked that she wanted to be there to photograph me and my boyfriend’s wedding whenever we got married. Fast forward to 2022 and she did just that! As the fearless leader, Emily is a detail-oriented and experienced professional. Before I get to raving about her eye for design and photography skills, I have to call out how much attention she pays to the entire experience. She fully understands the production quality of an event and that collaboration with your other vendors is key to a smooth outcome. She was in constant contact with us throughout the process and offered just enough tidbits of advice so as not to be overwhelming, but also to get us to think practically about our wants. Now, to the photos and services. Absolutely flawless. She made us look like straight up celebrities. Even after receiving the preview photos less than one week after our wedding date (yes ONE WEEK), my jaw hit the floor. It’s true what they say about your wedding day going by in the blink of an eye. I am SO grateful that Emily and her team were there to capture those moments for us so that we could relive them. FYI, we also hired Anna Delores on an hourly basis to shoot a portion of our rehearsal dinner and welcome party. It was so nice to have some seriously gorgeous, professional shots of friends and family that are not of me in my wedding dress. Emily is literally family now – plus she’s cute as a button. We hope to pay it forward and have her shoot my sister and her girlfriend’s wedding some day, too!

Exceptional Emily!

Emily and the Anna Delores team shot our engagement photos, rehearsal dinner, and wedding. Having now had three different occasions working with Emily under my belt, I can say with utter confidence that she's talented beyond measure, classy and ethical in her business doings, and someone you will grow to consider a friend quite quickly. On your wedding day, you spend a ton of time with your photographer so it's crucial that you enjoy having them around. Emily kept me calm, gave me so much direction, entertained my countless questions, and even kept me laughing through each phase of the day. She exceeded all expectations in every possible way. First, her talent for shooting exquisite photos is unparalleled. She not only takes incredible portraits and candids of the bride, groom, wedding party, families, and guests but she is a QUEEN of detail shots as well. It was really important to us that she captured all of the design and details that went into creating our "summer soiree" and boy did she deliver. The photos are vibrant, artistic, and timeless. Second, she genuinely cares about you and your event. She is so communicative and goes the extra mile to prepare for your day by collecting tons of info on your event for several weeks leading up. It's very apparent that she wants to understand the uniqueness and priorities of your day so that it comes across in the photos. Finally, she even maintains her meticulousness after the wedding. She provides both teaser photos and your final edits extremely quickly. Be sure to order a custom album too because she does an INSANE job curating that as well. Once your big day is over, all you're left with are the memories and photos. So be sure to work with Anna Delores so that you love your photos as much as we do. Best photographer, person, friend. We feel lucky to know Emily!

Emily is hands-down the absolute best in the business. She has a gift for photography and creates stunning images at any location, in any setting. We had the pleasure of meeting Emily at a close friend's wedding four years ago in Hawaii. All of us instantly fell in love with her work and with her as a person. She brings such a joyous energy to weddings and has the unique ability to make everyone feel comfortable and act like themselves in front of the camera.

So when we got engaged, the first thing we did was hire Emily and her team at Anna Delores Photography. It was the easiest and best decision we made. She, of course, went above and beyond photographing every detail of our event and each one of our crazy friends on the dance floor. She stayed two(!) hours late photographing our wedding because that is just the kind of person she is. She is always fully present and she consistently works hard to capture those special moments. Santa Barbara Elopement

Emily at Anna Delores Photography is an elopement angel. Like most brides in 2020, I had to postpone my 200 person, indoor, LA County wedding. I was crushed, but we decided to get married anyway.

Emily was instrumental to my elopement vision. I leaned on her for vendor recommendations since we aren’t from the Santa Barbara area and she absolutely crushed those! She kept me calm when we decided to change our venue three days before our wedding due to weather. Emily was so patient and kind, took all of my crazy phone calls, and hooked me up with the best photographer for our wedding day - Cara! This team is incredible and you can trust that they will always go the extra mile for their couples.

We received our sneak peek within a week of our elopement and our entire album within a month. It’s so hard to pick a favorite because they are beyond gorgeous. Our home is going to look like a shrine to ourselves with all of the photos we are about to print and frame.

I cannot recommend the ADP team enough. We are beyond thankful they were a part of our special day.

Incredibly talented, organized, and fun to work with!

Emily is amazing! I'm so happy we hired her to photograph our COVID-19 micro-wedding/"elopement". She made the planning process so much easier thanks to her knowledge about the local venues and vendors and experience in event coordination. She is super friendly, responsive to emails, and easy to work with. On the day of our wedding, she made sure to give gentle instruction to help those of us less accustomed to posing for pictures, but she always made us feel at ease and kept us laughing — and the photos came out beautifully. It's rare to find someone who is equally talented at both the creative/artistic side and the organizational/planning side, but Emily truly excels in both areas. I highly recommend her and her team and I hope I get a chance to use their services again in the future!

Best decision

My husband and I agreed early on in our wedding planning that the venue and photography were our top priorities. We were so lucky to find Emily at Anna Delores; she was such a pleasure to work with. We were introduced through our wedding coordinator and knew from the first phone call she was the right fit. She had no shortage of time to discuss our vision for the day and details and even went so far as to send us sample timelines for us to review early on in the planning process. On the day of our wedding, she effortlessly guided the entire wedding party, family and guests through photo shoots, yet somehow remained nearly invisible in the background for more candid shots of the festivities. Not once did we feel the weight of her job (which was not a small one given that it was our big day), and she always made us comfortable with pleasant conversation and frequent laughs. We definitely had a couple snags during the day, including a situation getting to the ceremony! But again, Emily never let us feel the weight of it. We received several complements from family members both during the day and afterwards. We highly recommend Emily for your wedding!

Emily and Beckie are the absolute best!!!

Choosing the ADP team (Emily and Beckie) for our wedding was hands-down the BEST decision I made during the entire wedding planning process!! I truly cannot say enough about how amazing Emily is, and I legitimately miss her now that the wedding is over. She and Beckie brought such an incredible energy to our day, and we had so much fun with them! All of our family and friends also commented on how upbeat they were and how easy they made the entire picture process. And then the pictures themselves are just to die for!! Obviously I knew Emily was talented, but the pictures just took my breath away. The emotion she captured in them is so powerful that one look brings me right back to those moments. You can feel the joy in her photos and I think a lot of that is because her personality creates such an incredible space for her couples to be at ease and in love. She was one of the first vendors I booked and was so helpful through the planning process. She had recommendations for other vendors (found my floral designer through her) and was also an amazing sounding board for other vendors I was looking at. The ADP team is just amazing, and I could go on about them forever!

Best Money Spent on the Wedding!

Truly the best money spent at the wedding was on Emily. She is worth every dime, people! From the first phone call, her energy was so great and made me feel relaxed. Once we signed a contract with her she sent us the cutest little box with a champagne to celebrate. It was so thoughtful.

And then at the engagement photo shoot she again put me at ease (I don't love having my photo taken).

Her and Maddie did an amazing job at my wedding and we got the most beautiful photos. People are still telling me they can't believe how lovely they are.

Emily and her team are professional, warm, fun, funny, communicative, and calm. Everything you could want on your wedding day! Cannot recommend them more! Love love loved them.

I am 88 days into wedded bliss and totally miss being in wedding planning contact with Emily of Anna Delores Photography. When I first got introduced to Emily via my wedding planner, Emily and I talked on the phone for an HOUR!! Emily's energetic personality and knowledge shined through that convo, and I knew she was the one I wanted to work with - I didn't talk to any other wedding photographer vendors. Part of the package is an engagement photo session, which is a huge perk. Not only did we get amazing engagement photos, but using that hour session, Emily guided Nathan and I on some tips for taking photos, that would come in handy on our wedding day and make taking photos come more naturally. During the planning process I had a couple great check-in convos with Emily that brought down the normal stress of being a bride. On our wedding day, Emily and her second shooter, Felicia, captured the most amazing pictures that display the perfect story of our wedding day. We completely trusted Emily and Felicia on their ideas. Nathan and I spent three hours looking through our photos and there were several times where I had tears in my eyes saying "oh my gosh!!! They caught that moment too?!?!"

I second everything In Kelly’s review [that’s my wife =) ]. Choosing a wedding photographer was definitely a process for us, as we both were fairly...ehmm..particular. Quite often, our friends would ask us “Wait, so who is going to shoot YOUR wedding?!”
Well, after the first time we met Emily, we knew instantly it would be her, and were overjoyed that she was available to shoot our wedding. It was a trek: 3 hours away into the Sequoia mountains, and Emily was so excited for the adventure and challenge. On our wedding day, she was calm and attentive. She worked her butt off, carrying her gear up hills and still giggling throughout the day. She went above and beyond, capturing some of the most precious moments of our lives in a beautiful creative way. I first saw Emily’s photo of a beautiful couple standing in front of a gorgeous tree with a candlelight alter. I must have stared at that photo for many minutes. I noticed it was shot by AnnaDelores, and from there I was intrigued of who this Anna was. lol. I came to find out that the backstory of how Emily created her business’ name was touching and meaningful. From there on, I knew no matter what I had to get to know this creative and beautiful woman.
My now wife and I met up with Emily in DTLA. What was supposed to be an hour or two meeting and discussion about our wedding and her photography packages, the whole hoopla, ended up lasting for over 5 hours. We shared laughs, stories, and all the emotions. I think we all felt it then that not only was she hired, and this would begin our work relationship, but also a long-lasting friendship. And that’s just what it was...Aside from her amazing and beautiful photography skills, which anyone can clearly see is magical, Emily’s soul is just as magical. She cares deeply about you and her work which is one and the same. She pays attention to every detail, and then some. She had us laughing and created genuine moments. Not only did we love her, but all of our guests did as well.
I too am a wedding photographer, and have been for almost 4 years. My wife also photographs weddings with me. We both had a very precise, and specific eye on what our wedding photos would be, and what type of personality our photographer would need to have, which is VERY important. Working with Anna Delores Photography for our Santa Barbara wedding was an absolute DREAM! We got our wedding photos back and have had so many people say that they are the most beautiful wedding photos they’ve ever seen. The same was said for our aaahhmazing engagement photos at Butterfly Beach.

The light and emotion that they’re able to capture in their photos is breathtaking. The wedding day went as fast as people said it would but Emily, Rhianna and Sarah captured the details of the whole day perfectly. They really go above and beyond to get the best shots and they had us laughing and smiling all day.

Rhianna is a truly amazing photographer. Our photos are outrageously gorgeous, and they perfectly capture the feelings, personalities, experiences, and lively pulse of our wedding. I am awed by how sensitive and artful they all are. My husband and I feel we are living the wedding again when we look at our photos; what an incredible gift this is! I would also add that Rhianna was a delight to work with. Our wedding was 1 week ago, and Emily was amazing! Our venue was on a remote ranch and was not the easiest to access, but Emily was there both for our rehearsal and arrived early on our wedding day. She was nice enough to take pictures even on our rehearsal day so that we were able to get pictures in different parts of the ranch. She is easy-going and personable, and helped coach us so that we were comfortable when taking pictures (as it didn't come that natural to us!) During our reception, she blended in with the crowd, taking shots of guests while looking like she was having a good time herself :) Our families were so impressed by her ability to remember everyone's name. She went above and beyond her role of a photographer by helping with little details such as keeping us on schedule, checking in on us before the ceremony, and even helping to bustle my dress. Our sneak peek picture she sent us is breathtaking, and I can't wait to get the rest of our pictures back! I couldn't be happier with our decision to hire her as our wedding photographer and would be sure to use her again!

Booking Anna Delores was one of the best and easiest decisions my husband and I made for our wedding. We knew that it was important that we got great pictures of our guests, but also of the awesome scenery of our Yosemite wedding. I stumbled across Anna Delores while looking up Yosemite wedding pictures on Google, contacted Emily and never looked back! Emily and Rhianna's commitment and flexibility helped the pre-wedding stages go smoothly. We didn't worry about anything because we felt so comfortable with Anna Delores. Rhianna and Steven were our wedding photographers and we got many compliments about them and their ability to coral our big, crazy families. They were so personable and friendly that they put everyone at ease. When my husband and I got our pictures back, our decision to go with Anna Delores was reaffirmed in each and every picture. I am not a very wordy person, but I don't think there are enough words to adequately express my appreciation and love for Anna Delores Photography – specifically Emily. Emily is the most wonderful human being. She is effervescent. I knew from our very first meeting that she was the photographer I wanted. As a photographer myself, I knew that finding the right person to document my wedding day was going to be of the utmost importance for me. She has tremendous technical proficiency and an artist's eye – a winning combo!

I'm neither someone that is accustomed to nor craves the spotlight, but Emily made me feel comfortable spending an entire day in front of the camera. Her humor and enthusiasm made me more relaxed. My husband and I enjoyed every moment we got to spend with her. I couldn't have imagined a better person to include in all the nook and cranny moments of our wedding day.

I highly recommend Emily; she is knowledgable, professional and fun. Basically she is the best and you need not look any further for your wedding photographer!

My Husband and I learned early on in the wedding planning process that photography was important to us and that we weren't going to opt for just any ol photographer that came recommended to us from the typical wedding venue vendor preferred lists. We carefully researched and flipped through countless photographers websites. I wound up stumbling upon Anna Delores' website (while at work ??) and it only took ONE photo to get me to swoon + get hooked. I booked a consultation immediately after and was beyond excited for our meeting. As excited as I was, It was also important for us that we felt a connection with our photographers and we got JUST that instantly with Rhianna and Emily. These 2 ladies are both power women and are fiercely passionate with their never ending work.

Also, Rhianna was our main photographer and she is my girl for life! We were complete strangers when we met and wound up becoming friends! Who else becomes friends with their wedding photographer?! We had an outdoor wedding, and of course there was last minute unexpected rain, the day before the wedding. Rhianna was literally researching alternative venues + volunteering her man's help to lug all of our stuff *sigh* I could go on about this Wonder Woman for days!

Last but not least, Emily! Emily is my inner soul + her personality is my jam. We literally got the dream duo cause Emily tag teamed with Rhianna on our wedding day + she crafted the most BEAUTIFUL arrangements of my bouquet, trinkets + place cards. I literally still swoon and get compliments to this day.

Ok, after a 1000+ worded essay, I shall conclude to say if you want wedding photographers who will go above + beyond for you in every aspect of a wedding and who genuinely care about you as a couple, opt with Anna Delores. You can't be disappointed.

If you are looking for a kind, professional and most importantly fun person to capture your big day, it's Emily from Anna Delores. Our priority was capturing the beauty of our families converging for our special day and Emily captured everyone, including us and our love, perfectly. She photographed the most beautiful portraits and a ton of candids that we will cherish forever. She also respected all of our wishes, like opting out of a first look and making it to the end of our cocktail hour - which any photographer will tell you is impossible. All the while she made us laugh and became a friend we'll cherish for a long time. I cannot say enough great things about Anna Delores Photography! Honestly, after meeting Emily in person and seeing the incredible engagement photos she took for us, there was no question we would use Anna Delores Photography for our wedding. We decided early on that photography was a top priority and I am so happy we did! It turned out to be a fabulous decision and the memories Emily captured are priceless. Rhianna and Emily were professional, fun, full of ideas and always trying to take advantage of good lighting ;) They kept our family and friends focused--it's not so easy to make sure big groups of people all look at the camera, don't blink and pose correctly. They were very much in charge of the photo process, aware of how precious time is on a wedding day but extremely polite all at the same time. Their attention to detail (which included fixing and adjusting dresses, recommending hair touch ups, capturing small details of the wedding day) and ability to capture the right moments was worth every penny. They understood when to make suggestions and when to stand back and let the wedding take it's course. Anna Delores is all about the details--from sending a cute goody bag before the wedding to a beautiful wooden box with prints and our usb a couple of months after the wedding. A year later I still look at my wedding pictures just about every week. If I had to do it again I would definitely go with Rhianna and Emily. Thank you both! This review has been a long time in the coming. You see, I promised Emily that I would leave her a review on Yelp... not that she asked for it. She was one of the most wonderful and professional people that I've met in ages. So much so, that I *wanted* to leave her a good review about her business -- hoping that more peoke sure we were happy and captured all the shots we wanted; she spent a lot of time giving art direction to the shoot -- she told us what looks good, when to drop the shoulder, when to raise an eyebrow, when to smile and when to stare into each other's eyes like it was the end of the world.

Working with Emily was one of the best experiences I've ever had in my life and as an artist myself, her hard work really stood out. If you're looking to get married in Santa Barbara or have a wedding at the Santa Barbara Courthouse, the beach, or a wedding anywhere in Santa Barbara, Emily from Anna Delores Photography is the easily the best Wedding Photographer in Santa Barbara.

She made us feel comfortable, has great prices (so much so that I wanted to tip her cash for her hard work) and she was a genuine person -- she made us feel at home, she made us feel like we were alone -- free in the world, to laugh and to love, without anyone there... if you're looking for the best wedding photographer in Santa Barbara, you need to call Anna Delores Photography and let Emily know that I sent you. If you have the opportunity to book Anna Delores Photography for your event DO IT!!!!! I can't stop raving about them!!! Emily and Rhianna shot our wedding day, and I don't know if I've ever met anyone who's as good at their jobs as these two! They're professional and sweet and creative and instructive and reliable and so funny! And they find the beauty and humor in everything they see through their lenses, and capture it so you can see it later, too! And they capture EVERYTHING! I never considered myself photogenic until I saw Emily’s work. Now I have proof that I can be beautiful in pictures. Emily took our wedding and turned it into a fairytale. I’ve dreamed of having the wedding photos that Emily created. She is so easy-going and easy to talk to, I felt like she really understood what we were looking for from the second we met. My husband and I only met with one photographer- and that was Emily! We booked her over a year before our wedding day and never regretted it. She was super easy to reach via e-mail and even had full on e-mail conversations with at midnight the week before our wedding.

We really appreciated that Emily took the initiative to come to our rehearsal to scout the venue and find the locations she wanted to shoot. Throughout the day Emily and her assistant fluttered perfectly around the chaos and captured moments that we will always remember. Emily also comes prepared, she had a decorative hanger to hang my dress on for the photos when I forgot to get one. We can’t wait to start printing and using Emily’s photos to decorate our home.

Rhianna at Anna Delores was a fantastic spark on our wedding day. Her high energy was contagious and she managed to get so many great shots of our very large families and everyone in attendance. We didn't do an engagement shoot so I was a little worried that getting on the same page would be a problem - but it wasn't at all. She was flexible with requests and made everyone feel like a million bucks. She also came with a second photographer as part of the price to capture multiple angles and locations. I highly recommend her!

Of everyone I worked with for my wedding, Emily at Anna Delores Photography was the best. The only photographer i spoke with before booking, her work speaks for itself. I don't have to convince you of how beautiful her work is; you can see that. But what you don't know is that she's superbly professional. A quick phone call after an initial inquiry, and I was sold. She was understanding of our budget limitations and explained her pricing for associates, but at the end of the day we chose Emily. And she was amazing. Responsive. Excited. Enthusiastic about everything WE were enthusiastic about. She was creative on the wedding day, flexible with our needs, and went above and beyond. And even better yet: I got our BEAUTIFUL professional shots just 2-3 weeks after the wedding, which was far earlier than I expected. Anna Delores Photography is amazing!!! Emily is just as sweet as she is talented! She was so easy to communicate with, professional, extremely helpful, and did I mention she's super fun to be around?! I love Anna Delores! Not only were they accommodating enough to take us on as last minute clients when our original photographer canceled, but they worked out a way for us to employ their high-end services within our budget! We had Rihanna and her assistant Leo on the day and they remained sweet, energetic and professional all night. Rihanna chose beautiful locations within our venue and helped to pose us so that we'd get beautiful and interesting shots while not being overly posed. I haven't received the final photos yet, but I know they shoot in a dreamy and ethereal style, which is exactly what we were looking for, so I can't wait to see the end result!

I could not have been happier with Emily from Anna Delores Photography. From our first emails, she had a joyful energy that persisted throughout our engagement, wedding planning, the wedding day, and even now post wedding. Emily was constantly asking if there was anything she could do or help with throughout the wedding planning, and she made sure to ask about all the details beforehand so that we were on the same page about the timeline and what photos we wanted. I love the candid shots of laughter or a look out of the corner of someone's eye, and it seems like she caught every moment that was so precious to me! She has a way of capturing the smallest moments that have the biggest meaning. She allowed us to be natural and candid, but she would offer direction on how to pose/where to look when needed - which made for some pretty darn good photos! It was important to us not only to have an amazing photographer, but also someone with a good and positive energy. Emily and her team were a blast to work with, and truly made the day SO much fun! Their joy is contagious! I would recommend Anna Delores Photography to anyone and everyone! Quality work with quality people! I am beyond happy with all of the wedding photos and am itching to make an album!
OH. And her new photobooth is AMAZING and was such a hit with our guests! We weren't sure if we were going to have the photo booth or not, but we decided to go for it. Our guests could have photos emailed and/or printed on the spot so they could take them home too! It is so fun to look at these pictures and see our guests being themselves and having a good time. We are planning to put the photos from the photo booth all into an album as our guest book, and I cannot wait!! Getting the photo booth was one of the best decisions. Lesson learned: Every wedding should have a photo booth. And everyone should have Emily/Anna Delores Photography at their wedding ;)

All I can say is, OMG! Emily and her assistant Rhiana are absolutely and utterly AMAZING!!! I was so taken with Emily's breathtaking photographs on her website that I HAD to have her photograph my wedding. I had looked at other photographers, and hands down, she was the ONE! Besides the fact that she's absolutely adorable and has the most endearing personality ever, she was professional, responsive, and flexible to the utmost degree. Brides, you know how you're dying to see photographs of your wedding the day after but know you won't see any for what seems like forever? Well, not with Emily!! She emailed me with some of the photographs that same day as my wedding at 11:00 at night! They were so beautiful I was in tears when my husband I were looking at them. I didn't have any help planning my wedding, and Emily was so patient and answered all my questions with grace. I had just met her assistant Rhiana that day, and she was just as wonderful! They worked sooo well together! I truly feel grateful that I was able to have them at my wedding and will have the most beautiful photographs to look back on and remember my special day!

Emily was amazing through the whole process! I never worried about the photography for my wedding even for a second. On the day of she was great at taking amazing pictures while never being in our faces or intrusive in anyway. Emily of Anna Delores Photography was our dream photographer. At our first meeting with Emily, we sat and talked for well beyond our appointment time. She is kind, smart and really genuine. And over the year and a half of planning my wedding, Emily was consistently responsive, organized and thoughtful. On the wedding day, her and her assistant were amazing. There was a few times, while getting ready on the big day, that I was unsure of what to do or a little frazzled and Emily gave me some much needed guidance. And then we got the pictures...they are incredibly beautiful! And not just beautiful but also full of emotion and love. Also, we were scheduled to do our formal family photos before we went off to just do our bride and groom shots but Emily realized that we were losing day light fast and just quickly pulled us outside and got some of the most beautiful shots of just the two of us. After are formal photos the day light was pretty much gone so if it wouldn't have been for her quick thinking, we would have never had those shots. She truly captured how it felt that day. Emily is amazing! Our first meeting with her felt like talking with an old friend. She was so cool and easy to talk to, and that carries over into her presence on the wedding day. Emily and her assistant moved graciously among the wedding day rush and captured beautiful moments. I just cannot say enough about Anna Delores Photography - it's been nearly a year since my wedding (yes, this review is long overdue!) and taking a quick look at some of our images, I'm still blown away by how amazing the photography is. Beyond that, Emily is the best to work with. When I started wedding planning, I wanted to book a photographer early on, and I didn't know how many photographers we'd have to meet before finding the right one. Well, as it turns out, we knew we had our photographer within minutes of meeting Emily in person. We loved her aesthetic, approach to wedding photography, professionalism and flexibility. Case in point: She suggested hitting a few locations for our engagement shoot as we couldn’t decide on one, and generously spent the whole day with us on what turned out to be an epic-engagement session. She definitely went above and beyond for us, and that shoot is among my favorite memories.

When it came to the day of the wedding, Emily and her lovely assistant, Brooke, caught all the moments – big and small – and brought my wedding to life in her amazing pictures (seriously, some of those look art-directed). She was great about corralling people for the group shots, as well as getting those candids of our guests that we didn't get to see on that day.
Lastly, my husband and I really loved her bubbly, down-to-earth personality and sense of humor – she is fun to spend time with (and an all-around cool person). Thank you so much, Emily!

Words can not express how much I adore her photography style!!! :) Emily and her assistant were so easy to work with, and made us feel totally at ease. I never felt awkward or that we needed to be stiff or cheesy. At times, I forgot that she was even there...her and her assistant worked behind-the-scenes quite stealthily.

My husband and I were so grateful to have Anna Delores Photography capturing all of the beautiful memories. I can't say enough good things about Emily from Anna Delores Photography! She not only is an amazing photographer, but she makes you feel so comfortable in front of the camera. She is meticulous about her work and takes a zillion photos! She genuinely loves her job and her clients... and it is apparent in her gorgeous photos!

Emily was such a wonderful photographer. She is such a sweet person. We did engagement and wedding photos with her. I was hoping to get a few good shots from both. However, we ended up with hundreds that were perfect! She is the best!

First, I should point out that I am a fairly tough critic. As an attorney with far too many attorney friends, I value clear communication, management of expectations, truth-telling, and delivery in business. Emily delivered all of these things. She is not only talented with a lovely style and deep interest in appreciating her clients' personalities, but she is professional. This is something one wants on her wedding day and from her photographer (whether you know it now or not).

After an extended perusing of the interwebs, I stumbled upon Anna Delores Photography (ADP)(among others). Before hiring ADP, my impressions were that this photographer took more natural photos, or perhaps-- more useable natural photos than the average photographer charging $2500 plus. While *wedding* photographers seem to charge thousands no matter how good, Emily earned her keep.

Emily, who I understand to be the lead photographer and owner of ADP, was responsive throughout the process: from initial contact to hiring to timeline communications to day of and during the editing wait period. She was early on the day of, confirmed receipt of updated timelines, and took fabulous photos.

My husband and I are fairly shy in front of a camera. Emily listened to this (I had probably only told her this at hiring, 9 months before the wedding) and did not suggest too many poses or stick the camera too close. As a result, we got the most gorgeous photos of our real moments on the day. I suspect that a more extroverted couple would get what they wanted too-- whatever silly, jumping, kissing photos they wanted-- as she is one who pays attention.

I would recommend her wholeheartedly to my closest friends.

When my husband and I started the planning journey, we heard the following advice over and over again: "man, I wish I had better wedding photos; invest in a good photographer." Getting married in southern California, it was a serious challenge to stretch every penny of our meager budget. We searched for a photographer that was incredibly talented AND we could hope to afford for almost 6 months. Boy am I glad I googled "camarillo" and "wedding photographer" just one more time.

We first met Emily at a hip, independently-owned coffee shop in downtown Camarillo and instantly knew she was a perfect fit for us (and not just because we're coffee snobs and approved of her meeting venue choice). She's sweet, easy to talk to, and has a great sense of humor. We immediately felt like she was an old friend we wouldn't mind following us around with a camera on one of the most intimate days of our relationship. Couple that with her gorgeous portfolio, it was a no brainer.

Throughout the planning process, she was responsive and flexible, making sure she knew what was important to us and coming up with creative ways to accomplish our insane client requests like, "what if we do our engagement session in a super rustic park, but also somehow find a plug so we can use twinkly lights?" and "hey, I know we're getting married at a country club, but could you try to make sure our wedding photos don't look, like, THAT country-clubby?"

On the day of our wedding, she was everywhere, but never in the way (how does she do that?!) - and she captured SO many incredible moments. THAT is why everyone told us to invest in a good photographer. Because if you're lucky enough to find one like Emily, when all the craziness of the day is over, you'll be left with these beautifully captured moments that help you relive the magic of that day for years to come.

We feel grateful to have found Anna Delores Photography, and Emily will always hold a special place in our hearts!

When friends and family heard of our wedding, one of the first questions they would ask me is, "So who are you trusting to photograph your big day?". Being a photographer myself, most people assumed that this would be a difficult decision for me...but to be perfectly honest? It was the easiest decision I made. (and the best one!)

Emily takes amazingly beautiful photos...that is obvious. But you can find tons of photographers who will take amazingly beautiful photos. The thing that sets Emily apart is the amount of love that she puts into every single wedding she shoots. I have shot countless weddings with her and I can honestly say that she SINCERELY loves every single wedding that she gets to be a part of.

I can't stop looking at my wedding photos. She captured every detail and every moment that was important to me. I was even able to remember bits and pieces of the day that I had forgotten about. My husband and I aren't very comfortable in front of the camera, and yet the time we took to do our romantic portraits were one of the things we had the most fun doing! Emily let us be who we are and that is SO important when it comes to wedding photography.

Emily of Anna Delores Photography was our favorite vendor from our wedding! From my first email, Emily was responsive, informative and flexible. She remained professional throughout the entire pre-wedding process, but she felt like a friend! My husband and I both agreed that the best decision from our wedding was hiring Emily. It was extremely helpful to have a photographer we enjoyed being around, as well as one who provided beautiful photos and great service. When an old friend recommended Emily and I looked at her portfolio on her website, I knew that her style and eye made every wedding feel personal and full of love. From the very first email, Emily was full of guidance, optimism, and artistic ideas. Photography was at the top of our wish list, always knowing the joy we felt looking at our parents and grandparents' wedding photos displayed in our homes.

Not only are Emily's photos artistic and beautiful, but her actual presence as a photographer itself is worth a whole hearted review. Often times we take for granted that the best pictures are as a result of feeling comfortable with the person behind the camera. Emily has a special knack of making you feel as if you've been best friends for years when in fact you've just met. The special relationships she builds with her clients - from sending care packages, to participating in the wedding count down - ensures that on the day you are most nervous, you can turn to her and know she will put you at ease, and that will show in your photos.

Emily handled my last-minute itinerary changes, odd requests, and quirky venue with ease. She found little corners and niches throughout our venue to give us some of the most unique and special photos. This means the world to a bride who thinks the worst when it is pouring rain! But Emily sees the good in every moment. That is why we were gifted with hundreds of absolutely perfect photos. It will be impossible to print just a few for our walls, because each captured a special moment throughout our special day that makes you feel like you are reliving the moment every time you look at it.

Emily is a superstar who is making frequent appearances on the best wedding blogs. But no matter what, she is always there for the bride and groom and always stays true to her artistic vision. Emily at Anna Delores Photography is a huge talent and lovely person to work with. Her strength is creating ethereal pics that have a timeless quality and she is super organized and charming. She was a couple weeks early with her delivery of the pics on an adorable USB. My only regret is not having paid the extra money to have her for the entire wedding. I have amazing pics of me and my husband and family, but I think we sold ourselves short by not having her stay to take some of her amazing pics of our friends. I highly recommend working with her, and can't imagine anyone better to capture your special day <3

If I could give Emily a higher score, I would. Picking a photographer for your wedding is a huge decision. You know these pictures will last you a lifetime and you want every moment to be captured perfectly and there's only one shot at it. When my husband and I met Emily, we immediately clicked with her. She made us feel so comfortable when asking questions and her portfolio is gorgeous, so we loved her from the start. We interviewed a few other talented photographers, but both of us knew that if Emily was keeping us smiling, laughing, happy just like when we had met her, AND had a beautiful photography style, then she was the one for us.

We couldn't have been more right about Emily. She delivered 110%. Our wedding photographs are even more beautiful than I expected. She really captured every moment and even some I wasn't expecting to get to see! It was a joy to have her be a part of our wedding. Emily loves her work and it shows in every picture. She has a very unique style and is so creative with her shots, even if it means leaning so far back in a bush that she gets leaves and maybe even bugs in her hair. That's dedication! We have gotten so many compliments on our pictures. Emily delivered our pictures ahead of schedule. It was the best Christmas present this year.

I would highly recommend hiring her for your wedding. I can't wait to hire her again for my future baby and family photos!

Emily is the absolute best!!! You hire a wedding photographer and you end up with incredible images and a new BFF. She shot my wedding this past October as well as our engagement photos and both experiences were fantastic. She's great at making you feel comfortable in front of the camera and gives [often times] much needed direction. She was always on time, responded to my many emails, and obviously captured so many amazing moments on my wedding day, it had my husband and I in tears. I can honestly recommend her services to all of my friends and family.

I was working for a wedding site at the time I was planning my wedding, have many friends in the photo business, not to mention I'm in my 30s, which means I have attended many weddings. My point with all of this is that I knew what I wanted while evaluating the 50 or so portfolios I had to weed through to get to Emily.
The first test she passed was having a solid website. This might seem trivial to you, but to me it means she is a professional who considers photography to be a serious business and not just a hobby. There are a lot of people out there who will take pictures for you but aren't necessarily going to treat you like a true client.
Then, she replied to all of my emails promptly and with a lot of friendliness. It's crazy how many of her competitors reply to email weeks later or with a weird attitude that says they're annoyed by having to deal with potential new business. Her email demeanor conveys the respect she has for the crazy period of time in a bride's life when all she wants are answers and fast.
Our first phone call further sealed the deal. She is fun and easy in conversation. She lets you know she has taken wedding pictures hundreds of times and can customize her services to your needs. She is not a pushy salesperson nor is she an over-promiser. She stays connected on social media and to current wedding trends and can adapt to whatever way you want to share information with her.
At the wedding, she was everywhere and never under foot. She took thousands of photos of us and our guests from every angle. The pictures are gorgeous, of course. But what is also very important is that she continues to be in our life four months later. She's always available when I want more links or additional photos or pricing information on physical framed snaps or you name it. I have been recommending her to all of my engaged friends and will probably hire her again for any other major event in my life. So, yeah, I would definitely recommend her to you.

Emily was amazing! From the first time we met with her I could feel her enthusiasm and could see her talent in all of her previous work. She also told me, "I tend to always take way too many photos." That sold me right there! I loved that there wasn't a photo limit, she just captured so many wonderful moments and doesn't nickel and dime you after. So cool! Not like a lot of photographers. On the day of the wedding she was so personable and made everyone in the photos feel very comfortable with her upbeat attitude. She was game to try different ideas from us and had a ton of her own for great poses. All in all, the day was everything we wanted and it put my mind at ease knowing how fantastic Emily would be at capturing every moment! I can't say enough praise for having Emily photograph my wedding. From beginning to end, she was professional and I always felt confident in her expertise.

On our wedding day, she was a ball of sunshine that immediately made me feel calm. She made sure that I got all the pictures I wanted with friends and family. The best part is that she has an eye for style. She took my new husband and I off to get some amazing shots inside a nearby store. Those pictures of just my husband and I sitting on couches and just looking into each other's eyes are now my favorite from the big day.

I hired Emily from Anna Delores Photography for both my Engagement session and Wedding. The instant I met her, I felt completely at ease and comfortable. Her energetic personality and warm demeanor made me want to book her immediately, which I did! Our Engagement Session was such a blast and she was so open and versatile to any and all photo shots that my fiance and I were interested in doing. She provided tips beforehand on the standard "do's and don'ts" to engagement pictures which definitely helped! And she is VERY thorough in her communication and responses!

The wedding experience was even better as Emily completely complied with every request that my family and I had, which at some points was very demanding! During the entire day, Emily and her assistant (Kat) both maintained a calm and professional attitude while managing to capture every single important moment of my wedding! Having them as my photographer team was even more than I imagined. Emily shared some initial pictures with me and I fell in love with them immediately! I cannot wait to see the rest!

After the wedding, I told Emily and my husband that she will be our family photographer going forward as she is such a talented person that I definitely want her to continue to photograph all of my important life events :)

After searching high and low for a photographer with a light and airy style, we were so glad to stumble upon Emily in a random wedding wire search. We decided to meet with her based on the excellent reviews and I'm really happy we did. She was very professional and full of positive energy. I liked that she was very responsive and let me know she was stuck in a bit of traffic so we knew what was going on. Very organized and had all the information we'd need and want in a folder for us. We decided to go with her and she took our engagement photos in March. Both my fiancé and hate taking pictures and I was a giggling nervous mess, but she made us very comfortable and kept the mood light and fun the whole time. Very accommodating as we had our pictures taken at two different locations and had our very active dog along for some of the pictures. She also got a set of pictures ready in a few days so I could use them for our Save the Dates which had to got out soon. It was a great experience overall! The pictures came out fantastic and all our friends and family are complimenting them. We're so excited to have her photograph our wedding in September! Thanks, Emily!

I wanted to give my husband a boudoir photo album as a wedding gift. I was very strained on time during the last few weeks of planning and of course waited until the last minute to make my boudoir session plans. I contacted Emily with limited dates/times for my boudoir session. Emily made it work with her busy schedule and drove 2 hours to be at the location where I really wanted to shoot. She made me feel so comfortable and beautiful and was SO professional.

After the boudoir shoot, she was amazing with the turn around time of my photos so that I could put together a book of photos to give to my husband on our wedding day. I really couldn't have given my husband this gift without her!

Taking photos can be totally awkward and new to people - but Emily made our session so easy, relaxing and FUN! She worked with us from the beginning to help us figure out the style of our shoot, location, outfits, and all the details. Her eye for people, lighting and scenery is amazing. I rarely give 5 stars for anything, but there aren't enough stars to describe the service I had from Anna Delores Photography! Emily has the professional eye and experience to return a portfolio of photos that will take your breath away -- as well as invite lots of "who was your photographer" compliments! Emily's real talent is for natural, candid shots which she is able get because she is so much fun to be around and unobtrusive during those special, private moments.

I adore Emily. She is super flexible and willing to do just about anything to please her clients. Case in point, she drove to Huntington Beach, CA, on the most busy day of year (July 4) to capture the all-important "getting ready" shots of my honey. I love those shots more than she knows. Emily continues to mature in her work and every day amaze the eye with enchanting and beautiful photography. This girl knows what's she doing. Promise. Emily is a DREAM to work with! Professional, prompt, and so creative. I got to see our best shots the very next day after the shoot and received the disc in the mail within one week. I was married in September of this year in a multi-event Hindu wedding and I am so grateful I had Emily there to document the moments! My husband and I had Emily do an engagement photo session shortly before our wedding and we could not be happier with the results!! Emily was fantastic to work with; sweet and professional, and very personable. It can be a little awkward having someone take a ton of photos of you, but Emily make the entire experience fun and relaxing. I don't even know where to begin! Booking Anna Delores Photography for our wedding was probably one of the best decisions we made. Emily met my husband and I for coffee in SLO to talk about services she offers and what her aesthetic is, etc. Right away, I knew Emily would be a perfect fit for our wedding and that she'd get along magically with our families. She was warm, professional, and thorough from beginning to end. She also met me at a later time to do a walk-through of the venue a few months before the wedding. I was feeling a little overwhelmed and pressured to figure out exactly how we were going to coordinate "flow of traffic" on the wedding day, but Emily had so many great suggestions that I walked away knowing exactly how we should set things up.

It was really important to me to hire a photographer that no only could capture the aesthetics of the day but could also wrangle family members who needed wrangling from time-to-time. The biggest thing I valued with Emily is that I completely trusted her. She is so professional and tactful.

Needless to say, her photos were incredible. We received a flash drive with all of our photos on it and everything was so easy. I can't imagine why you'd go with another photographer. I am hoping we can continue our relationship with Emily when the time comes to expand our little family!

Love the Anna Delores team!!!

We loved working with Beckie for our engagement and wedding photos. First of all, we had so much FUN with Beckie. She is energetic and genuine, and added to the joy of our wedding. She also made us feel super comfortable in front of the camera. Most importantly, we love our photos: they really capture us as individuals, and the special magic of our big day. Would choose Anna Delores as our photography team 10x over!

Beautiful pictures of a beautiful day

I’m so happy I went with Anna Delores Photography for my mini-mony wedding. Emily was so quick to respond to all my emails and questions, and even helped me secure a new florist when Ruben from Elevate Floral stole my money and left town, never returning my emails and calls and never providing me with a wedding bouquet. Beckie was our photographer at the SB Courthouse and was such a joy. Everyone there loved her energy. The pictures turned out so beautiful. Thank you Emily and team for making my magical day absolutely perfect!

There are two parts that really stood out about Anna Delores and their amazing work during and after our Summer 2017 Santa Barbara wedding. The first was the pre-work and day-of photo coordination. And the second were the photographs themselves.

I.

The pre-work, call, and in-person meetings we had with Emily and (mostly) Rhianna turned out to be invaluable. She really got to know us over lunch, genuinely cared about our story and how to make that come alive during our wedding photographs. It never felt like a client-vendor relationship where it was transactional...quite the opposite. They were a very real and positive part of our experience, which in turn made for some very dear and personal moments captured wonderfully.

Rhianna and Kelly's personalities are MADE for high-stress situations. They were both able to corral our over-exited families and friends in a very efficient and polite way.

They were able to take some very coordinated photos with very large groups, and in parallel, also take amazing candid shots throughout the day/night.

I didn't realize this until the day of our wedding, but you spend more time with your photographer than with anyone else...so it's extremely important that their personalities elicit re-assurance, confidence, and overall positive/happy vibes. They both nailed it!!

II.

The pictures themselves were absolutely gorgeous. The composition, tones, and arrangements of the photos were so creative and elegant, they make you feel like you are right back there, living it all over again.

Their direction and vision really came to life through the pictures. They were able to capture so much more than we could have imagined.

Emily of Anna Delores Photography is AMAZING! Very reasonably priced and the sweetest person ever, she met me at my venue for the initial consultation. She had portfolios, great ideas, and even gave me references to contact. The day of the wedding she, along with a couple assistants, arrived in plenty of time to check out the grounds again. They were awesome to work with, very relaxed, ultimately making us relaxed on our big day! She made sure she got all the photos we had discussed previously and more and my family really enjoyed working with her. We got a "sneak peek" of some photos about a week later and I was absolutely blown away, the quality is magnificent. I loved having Emily capture the special moments of my big day, she and her staff are awesome.
