Ann officiated our wedding in April 2023. We could not be happier with all of her contributions to our ceremony. She not only has the outward attributes you want in an officiant: energy, humor, professionalism, but she also possesses a steady calmness and confidence that is at the same time understated and yet absolute. In the moment you feel the warmth and joy she creates in her ceremonies but afterwards I sit here appreciating that fact that all of that was possible because she creates a foundation of ease that lets all of that joy and happiness shine through. And it is so natural you don't even notice it while it happens. But her contributions are not limited to the day, Ann genuinely put in the effort to get to know about us as a couple in the months before the wedding and also helped guide us through steps we needed to take along the way. I wholeheartedly feel that this effort is what creates the sense of ease and joy that she exudes and it is infectious. We could not recommend her enough!

We could not have asked for a better officiant for our custom vows on our wedding day. She made the entire process feel personal, organized, and stress-free while helping guide us along the way. Wonderful choice for your ceremony
Ann was very easy to work with. From the first contact she responded quickly to set up an introductory zoom. She offered several different packages. We selected the love story which was a perfect choice for our civil ceremony.
I loved the idea of Ann telling our guests how we met and why we wanted to get married. Having the surprise of hearing what we each loved about each other at the alter was so special to us both.
Ann was very easy to work with throughout the process. She even offered a choice of wardrobe options on the day to fit our color preference. She was on time an truly make the event special and memorable for everyone in attendance. Several guests noted they they cried throughout the ceremony! Ann was our officiant at our wedding in Chapel Hill last weekend. She also officiated my sister's wedding a few years ago, and she was automatically at the top of the list for Our wedding.
Cannot say enough great things about Ann! She started meeting and talking with us a year before our wedding to make sure our very important day was perfect. She is a joyous person who brings an aura of confidence. That combination helped me stay very calm and collected during the ceremony (and to the grooms out there, you're going to get nervous. you want someone like Ann standing there with you) She was engaging with the crowd at our 150 person wedding, and had everyone laughing, and crying tears of happiness. The perfect modern ceremony
Ann made our ceremony everything we could have ever dreamed of! We knew we didn't want a traditional ceremony because they can be boring and lose the interest of your guests, so going with Ann as our officiant and having her weave our stories & memories into the ceremony was the most amazing part of our day! We received so many compliments from our guests about Ann's ability to tell a story, crack jokes at the right time, and keep everyones attention. We had such a great experience!

A beautiful morning wedding
We had a fairly unorthodox backyard wedding that was both on relatively short notice, and early in the morning. Anne was so flexible and accommodating with our schedule. She did an excellent job of walking through the process, options, and staying in touch. We elected to do the hand tying ceremony and the ceremony of the rose for our mothers (it was a huge hit) and Anne did it perfectly! We would absolutely recommend her!

Our experience with Ann was amazing. From the moment we met her we felt her enthusiasm & passion. We were drawn to her option of a personalized ceremony that tells our love story. We opted for no religion in our wedding and between our love story and her script there was lots of love. She has the ability to make any day special regardless of beliefs or background. The most personalized, communicative, and thoughtful officiant!
Ann officiated our wedding this October and it was absolutely perfect. The several weeks and months leading up to our wedding she was extremely communicative and let us review what she would be saying well in advance, which we appreciated because it was so personalized, thoughtful, and proactive as we were so busy the week leading up to the wedding. She walked the bridal party and us thoroughly during the rehearsal, and even spoke to us beforehand about what we wanted her to wear, which I thought was a nice gesture. During the ceremony, she made all of our loved ones laugh and cry and kept them engaged throughout, and we received so many compliments from our bridal party and guests about how engaging, kind, and great speaker Ann was. We highly recommend Ann (and already have to our friends and family)!

Ann was great. We saw her officiate a friend's wedding and decided to choose her to do our own. She was very flexible and open-minded to our ideas. We wanted a non-religious ceremony with a non-traditional unity part and she met all of our needs with enthusiasm. She shared the text with us well enough in advance so we could review and approve or make any changes, and she was very accommodating. At the rehearsal she was friendly and excited, and brought a fun energy to the ceremony. I highly suggest her!

Ann is the best!
Ann was great! We could not have asked for anyone better. She was always a phone call away. Always up on her toes and ready to help. She definitely took a lot of our stress away! We were glad that she was there to officiate our wedding, could not have asked anything more.

Amazing officiant !
She was extremely friendly and understanding with what my fiancé and I wanted our ceremony to be like. She provided us with the perfect ceremony. She was also so understanding. We had to change dates because of COVID and she did everything she could to accommodate us, and other couples who had to also postpone their wedding. I highly recommend her, she will truly make sure your day is extra special.

Perfect personalized love story and ceremony
Ann was an amazing officiant from start to finish! She was super easy going while still giving us specific timelines and questionnaires to help us plan out the ceremony with her and to make it as personalized as we wanted. She crafted a beautiful, heartfelt ceremony that made everyone in the audience feel intimately involved in our love story and marriage. She was supportive, great at communicating with us what she needed, and was very responsive to our sudden “cutting down” of the ceremony due to it being a HOT day ! So many guests came up afterwards to tell us how much they loved the ceremony and especially the story Ann shared about our dating, proposal, and admiration of each other! I would recommend Ann to any bride wanting something personal that will make guests feel a part of their big day!

Sweet ceremony
Ann was so sweet. We had to postpone our wedding due to COVID and she was so flexible in doing that. We actually got married on our original day at the courthouse but had our wedding a year later. She changed her speech and made it perfect for our day. We were also beating the weather, it was about to pour and she was able to get through the ceremony a little faster than we had planned. It was perfect. Everyone loved our ceremony! She is so great, I definitely recommend her.

Simple & Sweet Ceremony
Ann was awesome! We wanted a simple and sweet short ceremony and she gave us just that. You can customize as much as you want but we loved what she sent over and stuck to that. She also takes care of all the license paperwork, making it stress-free for bride and groom. She was great to work with and a big part in making our wedding day special.

We highly recommend Ann as an officiant. Her experience shown through in the planning and day-of. She worked her hardest to make sure our ceremony was perfect. She took into consideration our needs and wants for our intimate event, and her ceremony script was beautiful. We felt it spoke to us and the highlighted the most important parts of marriage and partnership. She was professional yet personable and warm, and we’re so happy she was able to officiate our wedding.

Prior to asking Reverend Ann to officiate our wedding, I read her reviews and knew she would be the one. With all her great reviews, I just hoped she would be available for our wedding. Amazing from the start!
Ann was wonderful from our very first conversation, in fact she brought tears to my eyes when I first heard the surprise we would be giving to our parents during the ceremony. She was very flexible with scheduling and assured us that if anything were to come up, someone would be at our wedding to marry us. She was a very special part of our day and I highly recommend her!

A professional and unique officiant
