Anita is an extremely talented make up artist. I could not be happier with her services for myself (bride) and for the make up she did for my mother and bridesmaids. I had previously booked another make up artist who had to cancel at the last moment. To say that i was stressed was an understatement. Anita was incredibly responsive and within a few hours I had a trial appointment for the next day. The make up trial was perfect - exactly what i was looking for and i cant believe that it even wound up looking BETTER on the the day of the wedding. Anita made sure i had a contract and understood her rates making the booking and day of payment process easy. She was on time, courteous, kind and fun to talk to. I got rave reviews on my make up - even though it was 90 degrees and the ceremony was outside I never felt cakey and it lasted all night! Forever grateful!

Anita is THE BEST makeup artist!!! I have been using Anita as my makeup artist for over 2 years now since my sisters wedding. I live in NYC and I just had my wedding in Palm beach Florida. I could not find anyone down in Florida to come close to her work. I flew her down for my wedding and I could not be happier!!! She is a true artist who does the most AMAZING individual lashes I have ever seen. She is extremely professional..always using clean brushes and tools, always ontime and is such a pleasure to be around. What I love about Anita is she is extremely eclectic and can mold her talent to fit the needs of the client. She appreciates all different types of looks and will listen to what the client is asking for! She can do anything from glam, edgy or really elegant day time makeup. I absolutely LOVE her work! She's the best!

I cannot say enough positive things about Anita - she was absolutely AMAZING throughout my entire wedding weekend and an absolute pleasure to be around. After several dissapointing trials with local vendors, I finally found her and decided to fly her in from NY for my destination wedding - she is incredibly talented and a true artist. Her level of professionalism and responsiveness is unparalleled. I am looking forward to using her again for future events!!

Anita is a wonderful makeup artist. She accentuated my features in a beautiful and natural way.
My photography and video turned out great and my makeup looked perfect and stayed throughout the evening. Anita also has a calming demeanor, she put my at ease and I didn't have a worry in the world. I couldn't imagine a better makeup artist for my wedding.

Anita was great! Responsive, flexible, and professional right from the start. Thank goodness for her setting spray, or my makeup wouldn't have made it through my wedding day!! My mom and I were both very pleased with her work - she listened to what we wanted and stayed with us until we were completely satisfied with the results. I'd recommend Anita to anyone who asked!

Anita was amazing! She has such a calm, relaxed, down to earth energy that really helps on the wedding day. She went above and beyond to give each of my bridesmaids the look they wanted and even stayed later for touchups on everyone. I could not have asked for a better experience!

Simply Wonderful. Used Anita for my wedding after a disastrous trial with another vendor. Anita was incredibly accommodating, fitting me into her schedule last minute and around another client (with a coworker as backup if we ran short on time). She was incredibly easy to talk to and made me feel comfortable to speak my mind and discuss what I did and didn't like during the trial. Makeup was beautiful and lasted all night and into the wee morning hours of our after party. I had a very natural but enhanced look, but Anita can accommodate various styles and explains different techniques along the way. Unlike some other vendors she really listens to what you want and can adjust accordingly until you are happy. I couldn't be happier that I used Anita and have already recommended her to three friends getting married this year!!

Anita was so much fun to work with and she did an amazing job on on my wedding day!!! She was very flexible and let me have as many trials as I wanted, until we found the look that I loved! On my wedding day my make up was even more beautiful than I expected! My bridesmaids all looked great too, and were all happy with their looks....which is rare!!! Even my mom who never wears make up loved it!! I would 100% recommend booking her!!!

Anita did my bridal makeup, my 5 bridesmaids, and my mom's for my wedding 7.3.14. I enjoyed Anita's calm, sweet energy from first trial to wedding day. She was understanding and responsive when I requested a second trial and made adjustments to my look as I requested. On wedding day, Anita made us all look clean, natural, beautiful, elegant, and glamorous. Each girl got the look she wanted and Anita complimented their natural beauty without making anyone look overdone or cakey. Our makeup lasted all day through heat, sweat, and tears. She was also very professional and accommodating in discussing pricing for all our services . Anita was also extremely helpful in referring me to additional vendors including a new genius for my eyebrow shaping. I would highly recommend her! Thanks Anita!

I hired Anita to do my make up for my wedding two weeks ago and she did a fantastic job on both me and my bridal party!

She showed up a few min early (always appreciated on a high stress day) and was super efficient.

She listened to what each of had in mind and totally delivered. She even left two lip glosses for me to touch up throughout the day.

I highly recommend Anita and will certainly keep her in mind for future events!

Anita is incredibly talented and versatile. She did the make up for my entire bridal party (8 bridesmaids), my mom and my husband's mom, and me -- the bride. I was impressed that she adapted to everyone's unique styles, preferences, and skin tones. She made everyone look really beautiful and I was really happy with my make-up. Everyone looked glamorous and quite stunning, but nobody had that "caked-on" make up look. I would recommend Anita to anyone and everyone and will continue to call her when I have NYC events to go to and want to get done up! She's so talented!

Anita was great to work with. She listened to all of my requests during our trial sessions and took suggestions if I wanted to try something a little different. My husband wanted to make sure I looked natural and not overdone, but I also wanted the makeup to have a little drama and to look great in the pictures. Anita accomplished all of that! I was happy, my husband was happy and my makeup looks amazing in the pictures! Best of all, it was a hot summer day and it lasted all day long and through the night!
Anita also did the makeup for my mother, my mother-in-law, my sister, and my sister-in-law. She had not done trials on any of them, and the results were fabulous! Everyone looked beautiful on the day and in the pictures.
Not only did Anita make everyone look amazing, she is also very professional. She was on time and kept right on schedule the whole day. I was a very calm bride and Anita's professionalism and expertise certainly contributed to that.
She is an amazing makeup artist and a great person. I highly recommend Anita!

Anita was amazing!! From the initial make up trial to the day of my wedding she was professional, flexible, and talented. I had a morning wedding and she was willing to come at 6am to start getting us ready! And even three days before my wedding when my mother in law asked last minute to have her make up done Anita had no problem accomodating us. My make-up lasted well past the end of my wedding. (Even with all the dancing and sweating I did!) I have gotten compliment after compliment about how beautiful we all looked. Anita was wonderful and I would recommend her agian and again!

I just would like to say that I loved my makeup the day of my wedding! My husband is not a big fan of makeup that looks "cakey'. He said he did not want me to look like a different person, so I went and got a trial done and we were both sold. Not only did the makeup look great and natural, but it lasted the entire day. The day of my wedding was no different. It was about 90 degrees and humid the day I got married and the only makeup touchups I needed all day was my lip gloss. I just got my proofs and it looked great in pictures too. Anita was sweet, calming and professional all at the same time. Thank you Anita for making me and my bridemaids look fantastic! I would highly recommend her to anyone who needs a makeup artist.

I was lucky enough to book Anita for my wedding, and while a thousand choices went into our wedding day, this was easily one of our best. Make-up plays such an important role for the bride. Everything from the gown to the photographer, to the jewelry and even the shoes becomes worthless if the bride's make-up is done poorly.To me, the job of a make-up artist is to make a woman feel beautiful, and Anita did just that for me along with my bridesmaids. Thanks to Anita's talent, my bridesmaids and I felt amazing all day and have beautiful photos to prove it.

Anita was wonderful to work with and very professional and personable. She is very prompt in her communications and made the process of booking her so easy and stress-free, which was such a relief from our previous experiences with other make-up artists. Her pricing was very fair and she was on time and did such a beautiful job on my mother and I. I have been working with Anita for many years now as she done make up on my models for my photography work. Every time she does make up for my models I'm so excited to shoot her beautiful work. She enhances my photos to that next level of beauty and professionalism. She also did my hair and make up for my very first solo art gallery opening in NYC. She not only did my make up they way I told her I wanted but she took it to the next level where I felt super sexy and confident to walk into the gallery. Besides Anita being very talented she is also a sweet and wonderful woman to have around. We always have great laughs and stress free times.

Anita had done the make-up for my friend's wedding and everyone looked natural and beautiful, so I was so happy that she was available to do the make-up for my wedding. Working with Anita was a pleasure--she set up a trial so I could try out what I was thinking for the wedding, she completely understood what I was thinking in terms of make-up, and she really made me and everyone else look like extra special versions of ourselves. She was also early on the day of the wedding and kept things moving so that everyone looked great and we were on schedule. And Anita is generally a nice person and fun to be around, so getting ready for the big day felt really calm and pleasant. Definitely recommend!!

Anita was awesome! I got married on a Sunday morning and let's just say that I am not a morning sunshine so seeing anyone at 5:55am is not my idea of fun. Anita handled it all with aplomb. She was friendly, calm and kept it all moving right along such that I felt really great by the time she finally got to me. She did a fantastic job with the makeup, making each of my friends and my mom look their best and not like copies of each other.

And the makeup trial, where she came to my house and did it up, was by far the best part of the wedding planning process.

Anita Nouryeh is a make-up genius! She was able to create the perfect look for all of my bridesmaids and myself. Being a bride of color, I was concerned about finding a makeup artist who would be familiar with my skin tone. Anita did that and so much more! She was able to find the perfect blend of elegant and sexy for my final make-up look. Also, Anita was so understanding and reasonable about her prices. The quality of her work is worth a million bucks, but she understands that most brides work on a budget. So with that in mind, she is open to negotiating prices and for this I was so appreciative. Thank you, Anita for making my wedding day stressfree and beautiful. I will recommend you to any and everyone who is looking for makeup services.

When i booked a trial for makeup with anita I was a little nervous because I don't wear makeup often and don't feel very comfortable with a lot on... To my surprise I absolutely loved the way Anita did it! I immediately booked Anita for my wedding at the beginning of July. She did an amazing job on everyone that she worked on; myself, my maid of honor, my mother and my boyfriend (now husbands) mother. My mother and maid of honor love makeup (unlike myself) and wear it all of the time... Their makeup was impeccably done and they were very happy with her services. She was patient with all of our requests and took the time to find out what each of us wanted, like and feel comfortable in. IIf you book Anita for your wedding, I know that you will be as happy with her services as I was.

Anita did my makeup for my February wedding. She is amazing! She really understands how stressful your wedding day is and helps you stay calm. She's a friend. She gives great advice. Anita was so patient and flexible with me. I changed my look three times and she accommodated me with three seperate trials, then the day of my wedding we went with something else all together. She made all of my bridemaids look amazing and was able to handle a host of different requests, from very minimal to very dramatic. Also, she was prepared with airbrush for those who wanted it.
Having gotten the full day package I felt that the value was exceptional. It was also very nice to have her around for touch ups between all of the seperate events. The makeup looked great even at the end of the night. Would definitely recommend!

Anita was, simply put, amazing. Having her advice and help along the way made such a difference in the end -- I really didn't know what I wanted and she really helped me streamline my thoughts. I was thrilled with my look and I know my mom and bridesmaids were as well. One moment that really stood out on the day-of was when Anita, faced with a tight timeline and cranky caterer looking to set up in her space, was able to exceptionally tactfully manage the situation without my being involved at all. Loved her for that. She was great and I'd recommend her to any bride looking for a relaxed, laid-back, but exceptionally professional and talented make up/hair artist. Thank you thank you Anita!

Anita did my makeup for my wedding as a last-minute substitute for Sally Duvall, who I had originally booked but was sick on the day of my wedding. No offense to Sally, but I am so glad she was sick - Anita did a killer job.

Anita really understood my complexion and coloring and also the look I was going for - all of this without ever having done a trial. She asked me a few questions and set to work. When she was done, I was blown away: I looked dramatic yet not overdone and essentially just a better version of my made-up self. Not only did I feel and look amazing, but I got so many compliments, even from my DJ, who sees hundreds of brides each year.

I would give Anita 10 stars if I could. I also really recommend her for women who are Indian or Middle Eastern, as she really understands what colors to use with those skin tones (I'm of Indian descent).

Anita was a wonderful makeup artist. She did the makeup for my rehearsal dinner and for my wedding day, and did a great job of creating the two different looks I was going for. She was a very calm presence in the room and made everyone feel at ease. I am not sure how she did it, but my makeup lasted the whole day even though we had a outdoor wedding in 100 degree humid weather! You are a miracle worker Anita :)

Anita was great!! She did such an amazing job with my makeup, as well as my bridesmaids and the Moms, and we got tons of compliments from everyone at the wedding! She was also very knowledgable about various products and didn't mind answering all our questions. I did a day-after shoot and she came to my apartment to do my makeup for that as well. Anita did a wonderful job with my wedding day make up! I couldn't be happier considering I am not very comfortable wearing lots of make up. My make up looked natural (but with that touch of extra glamor one can only get away with on one's wedding day) and lasted all day, despite the heat and humidity. Her skill is remarkable and my make up looked very clean. She also provided me with a lipstick and powder kit for touch ups.

For someone like me who has never worn false eyelashes before, Anita's confidence is contagious. She made me feel completely at ease at the trial. She is also very responsive and quick in replying to emails and phone calls, which was a major plus since I was planning the wedding from overseas. Thanks so much, Anita!

Anita did a terrific job at my wedding and I highly recommend her. She was attentive, punctual and gave me exactly what I had requested - my makeup was polished but natural looking, and it lasted throughout the evening. I was even happier with the results when I saw my photos. Anita is also really nice and low key - a real pleasure to work with.

I had my wedding at the Chelsea Pier and she came their to do my makeup. She really made me feel so calm on my wedding day and did such wonderful work. I also hired her for all the bridesmaids and mothers and they were so thrilled with their makeup. The wedding party only had great things to say about her and everybody at the wedding commented on how great we looked. She was also very professional and personable at the same time. A highly recommend her!!! Also, I forgot to note that she was really flexible in using all natural products b/c I was pregnant and on an all natural kick.

Anita did such a great job on all five of us. She made us all feel confident on the big day. She was extremely professional, patient, easy going, and flexible throughout the actual wedding day, and so understanding during the trials. On the day of the wedding it helped how relaxed and yet efficient she was. I have been recommending her to every friend and feel lucky that we found her!

Anita did my makeup for my wedding in May of 2009. She also did the makeup of two of my bridemaids and all of us were extremely pleased with her work. Before hiring Anita, i went on numerous trials and was not satisfied. Anita was the perfect match for me because she had hi-end makeup, great technique (airbrush foundation and my eye makeup never looked so good!) and knew exactly what look I was going for on my wedding day. I stumbled upon Anita on the internet and was very happy that I did. I would highly recommend Anita, you will not be disappointed.

Anita did an awesome job on my makeup for my wedding day! I couldn't be happier, and felt gorgeous all day. She also did makeup for my sister (MOH), mom, and aunt, and they all looked gorgeous. I would recommend Anita to anyone, because she knows what she's doing. When I went in for my trial I didn't have to overly explain anything to her. She saw pictures of the look I wanted and we discussed colors and I ended up with exactly what I was hoping for, and felt beautiful! I really like smokey eye-makeup and she did such a great job with that. She is really friendly and listened to what I wanted. I had gone for trials with two other people previously, and felt I didn't look like myself when they were done. Anita had a great balance of doing my makeup extra special for my wedding, while not having it look overly done. She arrived early and worked calmly and quickly even though I had about 15 family members getting ready at my house that day. Even though my mom, sister, and aunt hadn't done a trial, Anita was able to look at their dress colors and skin tones and came up with the perfect makeup colors for them immediately. She was very attentive to any slight adjustments we wanted to our makeup, so working with her was fun and stress-free. I was so happy that I found her. Her talent and professionalism helped make my wedding the amazing day that it was!

I LOVED my makeup and felt amazing all day long. My sister & in-laws looked gorgeous. Anita was a joy to hang out with while getting ready.

Anita was fantastic! I wasn't completely happy with the result after our first trial and gave her some feedback about changes. She was a great listener and also made her own adjustments based on the tones she thought would work best for my overall look. When she came back to my house for a second (and free!) trial, the look was perfect! She was calm, professional, and receptive on the wedding day and also made my mother and aunt look beautiful. What's more is that Anita is fun to chat with, great with feedback, and an all around awesome person. Totally recommended!

Anita did the makeup for myself, my mom and my two sisters for my wedding just last week! I was so impressed with her skills. We were in a poorly lit room and it was overcast outside so there was hardly enough light at all. Plus my four year old nieces were running around the joint like maniacs playing the entire time but Anita was cool and calm from 8 to 11. She arrived early, stayed late and I loved how she did my eyes. My eye makeup looked great but in pictures it looked like I was hardly wearing any other makeup at all. Oh, and the airbrush is awesome. Thanks Anita!

Anita did the makeup for the bridal party at my wedding. She did an amazing job! Working with her leading up to the wedding was great, we did a few trials and she altered the look based on my feedback. The day of the wedding she arrived early, was already set up when I got to the bridal suite, and did an amazing job. I loved how my makeup looked and all of my bridesmaids looked stunning. I would 100% recommend Anita for any wedding and I will definitely work with her for any other formal events.

Anita was fantastic to work with. She is very flexible and willing to work with a budget. Even still, she did a fantastic job on our makeup. Her style is natural and she works with each woman;s personality to create a unique look. We definitely didn't all come out looking like the same person - we were each just more beautiful versions of ourselves. Highly, highly recommended.

Anita was great! My makeup came out perfectly and looked great in the photos. Anita responded to emails quickly and arrived early the day of the wedding. I'd recommend her!
