Angel was truly amazing, and we cannot recommend her enough. Beyond her obvious talent (check out her amazing instagram @angelita_photo), what stood out most was the calm, kind presence she brought to a very hectic wedding day. She managed my large family with ease, was incredibly responsive and communicative throughout the process, and offered thoughtful, spot-on recommendations that helped our logistics run smoothly.
You spend more time with your photographer than almost anyone else on your wedding day, and my husband and I could not have loved our time with Angel more. She listened carefully to our requests, made sure our preferences were always heard, and handled our historic church—with very strict photography rules—with professionalism and grace. She even shared her fan with us in the St. Augustine heat, which says so much about the kind of person she is.
Angel was a light throughout the entire day. We received so many compliments from our guests about how much they loved talking with her, and the images she created are true family heirlooms that we will cherish forever. Working with Angel was a joy both professionally and personally, and we are so grateful we chose her!

Angel was an absolute dream to work with as our wedding photographer! Phenomenal photographer!
Angel was absolutely amazing!! When we were looking for a photographer, we looked at sample albums and when we came across Angels website we knew she was who we wanted to photograph our wedding. We are SO happy we booked her! She books up really fast though so I wouldn't hesitate!
We wanted a journalistic quality to our wedding photos and she more than delivered with just the teaser album! She got every photo we wanted in a way we didn't even know it was being taken. We had asked for more candid photos and less staged photos and she absolutely ran with the idea! She seamlessly fit into our wedding crowd and captured photos when we had no clue. Angel truly was able to capture moments and we could not be more grateful to have found her. I can honestly say I can look at one of her photos and feel the emotion behind the photo which is SO amazing. She took time to listen to everything we wanted and was so helpful with ideas and inspirations for photos we didn't even know we wanted!
For the staged photos-- she was beyond amazing! She was incredibly fast and punctual, making sure that we made it to our cocktail hour while still getting all the shots we wanted!
Your wedding is a day, the photography lasts a lifetime. She is passionate about her work and it really shows. We cannot thank her enough for capturing such beautiful memories and I could not recommend her enough! We cannot wait to see the full album!

I cannot imagine having anyone else as my photographer for my wedding day other than Angelita. There was no stress or fuss. She made taking the photos fun and adventurous. The BEST wedding photographer!!
Angel is an amazing human being. I met her when she shot our surprise engagement in St. Augustine. She then got our gallery back within days and the photos blew me away. I am from Georgia, so when it was time to go find a wedding photographer, I looked around Atlanta but I couldn’t find anyone with the style and personality that Angel had so I finally decided to reach out to see if she’d be able to travel to North Georgia, and to my luck, SHE DID! Incredible Photographer!
Let me start by saying, I am SUPER picky about photos and more than anything wanted to have quality pictures that I loved of our wedding day. Angel is such an amazing photographer! We set up a video conference and talked about the day we wanted. Within a few days, she had a rough wedding day timeline that even my wedding planner was impressed with! She focused on details and listened to what we wanted for our special day. She’s taken incredible pictures in the rain, so I wasn’t even worried about rain on the day of the wedding! She got our pictures back VERY fast! She is an incredible photographer, and I would strongly recommend her!

I strongly urge you to hire Angel if you are seeking excellent photography to capture all of the moments on your wedding day, big and small. Angel is sweet, personal, professional, thoughtful, and diligent. She is demonstrably experienced and works seamlessly with other vendors. Angel's presence is very comfortable and warm. She truly added joy to my wedding day. Angel photographed our wedding and our engagement photographs. When selecting a photographer, you must consider vibe/personality of the photographer because they're going to be around you and with you during the most tender and exciting moments of your day. Angel is discrete but also guided us well. She's more than we could have ever asked for. Angel helped orchestrate where and when photographs should take place both for our wedding and our engagement photographs. Her experience and exceptional skill make her someone you can confide in. It goes without saying that her photographs are incredible and artistic. I must also add that Angel's return time on photographs is unreal: I have no idea how she does it. We will be returning to Angel for all of our photography in the future: she is simply the best. We are grateful to have her in our life.

Angelita, was so patient in the Florida summer humidity. Her professional was above and beyond with links and suggestions for flowers, bridemaids dresses, and makeup artists. Angel is amazing!
Wow! I do not know even know where to begin with how incredible and what an absolute joy it was to work with Angel for both our engagement shoot and wedding last week! Angel's photography is truly magical. She always knows how to capture the little moments that go unnoticed by others. We had the most amazing sunset photoshoot with her at Alpine Grove. Our lighting looked something out of a storybook! She then captured every moment of our wedding at Club Continental plus more, not to mention we had a teaser gallery on the way to the honeymoon and all our photos right when we returned. We could not have asked for more and that is why we booked her almost 2 years out. We knew we had to work with this incredible, vibrant, and funny lady who loves fur babies as much as we do! We also loved working with her assistant Michelle who went above and beyond to make sure we looked and felt our best. Do not hesitate and book Angel for all your photography needs. Amazing and an unbelievable turnaround!
Angelita went above and beyond at my wedding to capture all of the moments and make it so memorable! We worked with her for our engagement shoot at Big Talbot Island and the tide was high but that didn’t stop her (or us) from getting a little wet and creating amazing photos! Angelita and her assistant Michelle, were so friendly and sweet on the day of our wedding. They truly made it fun and they got all of our requested group shots even though some of the people were late. Her editing was on point, she even cropped A WHOLE CRANE out of the background of our ceremony and it looked flawless. Not too mention I had a teaser gallery of 100 photos to go through JUST TWO DAYS after our wedding! It was so nice to look through some of our photos as we relaxed on our honeymoon. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer and I will be using her again for future (non-wedding) photoshoots! Thank you so much!

Best of the Best!
I really don't have words to express how amazing Angel is. From start to finish she took the time to get to know us and really captured both our wants and our needs. We had an offbeat wedding and were looking for a photographer who would embrace our funky location and ideas. We are also self-described "not photo people" and so we were nervous about looking stiff and unnatural in our images. Not only did she come to the location with fantastic ideas for fun photos, she also made us (and everyone else!) feel so comfortable that everything turned out exactly as we had imagined!
Most notably, when my MOH was unable to attend the wedding due to COVID concerns and we had the wild idea of using a cardboard cutout of her for photos she thought it was a great idea! It was a silly way to cope with a sad situation but it made us all laugh and we will look back on those photos for the rest of our lives and remember what a wild ride planning a wedding during a pandemic was.
One of the best things about Angel is how quick her turn around. We got all of our photos back, edited, before we even hopped on the plane home! The balance between fun photos and nice family portraits was excellent and her editing skills are top-notch.
You absolutely cannot go wrong hiring Angel. I know I'll be recommending her to everyone getting married in the Jacksonville area and hope to use her again someday for family portraits.

An Angel sent from God!!
Angel came as a recommendation to my husband and I over a year ago now, and we finally had our big day on 10-10! From the moment we booked with Angel, and even to this day almost 2 weeks post-wedding, she has been the most helpful, knowledgable, and talented photography EVER. Angel is as professional as it gets, whether it comes to her work, communication, and demeanor. She is also a literal ANGEL. She made everything feel so natural for my husband and I…and we’re pretty awkward when it comes to taking photos. She told us exactly what to do, how to pose, and most importantly, made it FUN. She captured the essence of our entire day, the love and fun we had with all our closest family and friends. And the best part, over 1200+ photos were edited and ready to share as soon as we landed back in the States after our weeklong honeymoon in St. Lucia. Angel’s photos still bring tears to our eyes and our both our families as well and we are forever grateful to have these memories captured so beautifully. I absolutely loved working with Angel on my wedding day. She is so amazingly talented and literally just the kindest human being alive. We could not be happier with Angel! We pulled together a family-only wedding in just a few weeks after COVID changed our initial plans. Angel was so helpful in putting together our timeline on short notice, and had really fun suggestions for pictures (locations, ceremony exit, sunset photos, etc). We took all of her recommendations and the pictures turned out AMAZING! Seriously, listen to all of her ideas! She also captured some truly special candid moments during our reception that a less-skilled photographer would have missed. Wonderful photographer and human being!
We hired Angel to be our wedding photographer and she did an amazing job. Not only did she answer our emails and questions quickly but she showed up on time and was able to capture beautiful pre-ceremony shots despite the thunder and lightning that quickly came through! She provided us with great instructions, tips, and guidance throughout the session and captured beautiful, candid moments during and after the ceremony. We also received all of the photos faster than we expected. She is super organized and on top of everything. We felt awkward at times and didn't know what the heck we were doing but the photos she took are absolutely beautiful and make it look like we knew what we were doing! As the (now) wife of a photographer/videographer, I knew choosing our photographer would be a difficult part of the wedding process. However, the minute I saw Angelita's work, I knew we were set! She not only takes INCREDIBLE photos, but is also so kind and makes you feel at ease when taking your photographs! Investing in photos on your wedding day is so important, as there is so much of your day that you don't get to see as the bride and groom. Angelita and her second shooter, Miguel, captured the life and energy of our day perfectly! To make it even better, she had a teaser gallery of our photos ready for us on the day we left for our honeymoon and ALL of our photos done by the time we returned home! This was such a special treat for us to reflect on the incredible time we had with our loved ones on that special day. I cannot recommend her enough. The best photographer out there
Angelita not only did our wedding but she did several of our engagement shoots as well as family shoots for us. There isn't another photographer that I would entrust capturing our lives most precious moments. Her knowledge of lighting, angles, and how to make everyone in front of the lens comfortable, is something you don't find in most photographers. Angelita is a magnificent photographer and a true artist! I loved the way she captured us and our love on our wedding day and on our engagement photos. She has such a great eye for the perfect shots! All our family, guests, and friends are still raving to us about how awesome our photographs are! She really does a quality and outstanding job! Angel is AMAZING! My fiance and I just had our engagement pictures done with Angel. She had them edited and sent back to us in TWO DAYS! My family has used Angel on multiple occasions and we have always been blown away by her work. She has an amazing ability to find the perfect spot and find lighting that will make your pictures unbelievable! I am not very good at posing, but Angel made my fiance and I feel so comfortable and natural during our session! It was a blast! Again, Angel is AMAZING! If I could give her 10 stars I would! I cannot wait to have her shoot our wedding!

Amazing experience and photos!
We loved working with Angel and her assistant, Maria. Angel was so responsive throughout the entire planning process, one of our best vender experiences of the day! She was always available to answer questions in the months leading up to the wedding, which was just one less thing we had to stress about. Our families all had wonderful things to say as well, they were very impressed with her. AND we got the photos just a couple weeks after the wedding (way before we were expecting them)! She did an amazing job capturing our personalities and we love the way we look in them - we've probably looked at the gallery a dozen times already and keep finding new favorites. We can't wait to display these in our home!

Amazing! And worth every penny
After doing some research and looking at all her work, I knew she was the perfect person to do our wedding photos. Although her price was a little more than what we expected to spend, but she was worth every penny. I can’t imagine anyone else taking our pictures to capture our big day. Best photographer we could have!
We hired Angelita to be our wedding photographer and she did such an amazing job! From the engagement session to editing the wedding photos she was extremely professional. The photos look just perfect (lighting, timing, editing, everything). Angelita for sure knows her way around the venues and she always finds the perfect spots for the photos. The candid photos were a plus, we love them all. She is a very calm and kind person, perfect to help all of us to be relaxed on such a big day. She helped us to plan our timeline and surprised us with the most beautiful sneak peeks just few days later. We were truly happy with our photos and will cherish them for the rest of our lives. I honestly do not have a single complaint. Not even a single negative thing to say. Angel was so kind and fun to work with. We could tell she was putting in 110% effort for every photo she took with us. She did both our engagement and wedding photos, and we have them hanging all over our home (and our parents’ homes haha). We’d never been photographed professionally before, but Angel made it fun and simple, and she had great instructions. She gave us so many beautiful photos, and it’s been an incredible experience sharing them with our family and friends. I 12/10 recommend her, and always will recommend her to others I know!

My husband, family and myself want to give our deepest thanks to our photographer Angelita. She is so friendly and bubbly, we felt so comfortable. From the beginning she made the process extremely easy. After answering her questionnaire she provided us a full timeline on what to expect for photography on the big day. Not only is she fantastic during the day, she created the most beautiful night time photography which was incredible for our fall wedding. She had previews for us within 24 hours and we had all of our photos the next week! I would 100% recommend her services. Let me start by saying that I personally think the photographer is THE MOST important vendor you can book for you wedding. The night flies by and the only thing you'll have at the end (besides the memories) are the pictures. I legitimately can not put into words how amazing Angel is. I actually found one of her albums while I was searching my venue with no intention of booking a photographer yet. It took me about three pictures to be lured into her amazing photography. I called Angel to find out more information. Angel was so sweet and warm, she answered all of my questions and concerns and we agreed on a time to meet. We started off with an engagement photo session. Angel helped talk me through ideas such as props, photo spots and even outfits! She laughed and joked with us and we were totally comfortable the whole time. It was very apparent that she knew what she was doing and had a lot of experience. We had our entire album of 244 photos in three days. I was so in love with the photos that we used them for showers, our engagement party, our house decor and even used them to decorate our wedding! I am a very strong type A personality with a side of indecisiveness. Angel answered my millions of phone calls and text messages almost immediately and every single time was very sweet, pleasant and helpful. She is organized, she listens and she is a very hard worker. On my wedding day, she remembered poses I had talked to her about in our initial meeting (a year and a half prior) that I had even forgot about, and made sure we shot all of those pictures. The day after my wedding, I had 30 sneak peaks to swoon over. She made us look like we belonged in a bridal magazine! I cant say enough about Angel. She is worth every single penny... and then some. Her work is amazing and she is so enjoyable to work with. Her smile never leaves her face. Hiring Angel was BY FAR the best decision I made during my entire wedding planning process. You wont regret hiring her!

There are not enough words to describe how fantastic Angel is. When planning for any event, everyone tells you the photographer is one of the most important vendors to nail down. This is the person who will be capturing the most special images and memories of your special day. That's a lot of pressure! I looked for months before my husband and I found Angel. Not only does she come highly recommended, but her pictures speak volumes. Angel is absolutely the best of the best!! Not only does Angel capture the most incredible photos, but she is one of the sweetest and most genuine people I know. She made our wedding day special in many more ways than one. When I first spoke with her on the phone, I couldn't get over how professional, knowledgeable and genuine she was! She has the biggest heart and is just an incredibly sweet person all around! We communicated multiple times well before our wedding day and created a wedding timeline together. Hiring Angel as our photographer was hands down one of the best decisions we could have made for our wedding. I was looking for a very creative photographer with a good eye for lighting and capturing intimate candid shots and I knew I found just the one when I saw her website. There are many other photographers in her price range who do not even come close to matching her skills. Leading up to the wedding, Angel was incredibly professional and responsive, open minded and especially creative. During the wedding, she and her assistant did an amazing job in coordinating all the important shots while still capturing some extra sweet ones. Also, we received our photos SO QUICKLY! When planning our wedding we had very high hopes and expectations for our photos, and Angel went above and beyond anything we could've asked for. From our first conversation over Skype Angel made us feel comfortable and worked to make sure she was providing us with exactly what we wanted from our photographer. We set up an engagement shoot (i highly recommend meeting your photographer before the big day, helps get rid of any nerves, and makes you all more comfortable together) and she did an amazing job. She offered the right amount of suggestions/poses and captured some stunning candid and staged photos. From that shoot she was able to create great cards to pass out to guests at our wedding so they could access our photos online. Fast forward to the wedding day and we saw one of Angel's best strengths as a professional photographer - her patient and flexibility. Our venue is known for it's outdoor spaces (including our entire reception being held outside) so of course it decided to rain ALL afternoon, throwing off timing and shoot locations Angel had planned to use. But none of that mattered. Angel (and her assistant who was also amazing) stayed calm and led us through some incredible moments, including a very meaningful first look in the rain. From there Angel fit in seamlessly with the ceremony, capturing some of the best parts without interfering at all with us focusing on what we were doing. During the reception Angel was able to quietly steal us away for a private photo shoot during the sunset and was able to capture some absolutely breathtaking photos of the sky and rain (we keep looking at the pictures and can't believe it's actually us). Angel also captured our friends and family having a great time out on the dance floor, including staying way past when we thought the night would end in order to capture our sparkler send off. I fully believe that Angel will provide you with incredible care, joy and artistic skill that will help you remember forever.

Our daughter chose Angelita based on her photographs online, which were just beautiful. The price was another consideration, and then when my daughter talked to Angelita and then met with her, she was sure she was the one. Angelita is sweet, professional, and did just what we wanted. She stayed in the background and shot a lot of photos while not interfering with our day. We just saw the photos this week for the first time (just one week after the wedding!) and they took our breath away. She is a very talented photographer. Angelita did an amazing job! Planning a wedding in a state outside of where I reside, I was not familiar with photographers in the area and followed up with Angelita based on a recommendation. After speaking with her and reviewing her online portfolio, we signed an agreement. She was very responsive with every question I had before the wedding and did an outstanding job on the day of our wedding documenting all of our special moments. She took a ton of great pictures and we even received the pictures from her earlier than promised. There were so many to choose from, we haven't even decided yet which we want to make prints of. Angelita Esparar Photography was the best decision i have ever made regarding wedding photography! ( And I am very picky when it comes to photography) I looked online, talk to other photographers, did my research and out of all the people I talked to she was just what I was looking for. She is so sweet and talented! While taking pictures she makes you feel comfortable and captures beautiful moments that last for a lifetime. Every single person, family, friends & even people I don't know have told me how much they like our wedding pictures, how great they look and how they should be in a magazine ( even my husband, who claims that he is not photogenic LOVES how the wedding pictures turn out) . I am so happy I found a great vendor like her. She is very professional and also very flexible, makes sure to answers all your questions promptly and tries to go out of her way to help you and to make your day just perfect. It's definitely worth every single penny! Thank you Angel for your beautiful work!

Choosing Angel to shoot my wedding was one of the best decisions I made for the wedding! She is excellent, as well as so unobtrusive and fast. My husband and I felt like we were just relaxed and hanging out during our wedding day while she was shooting, and then she gave us these phenomenal moments that she captured from during that time! I love all our photos. She really cannot take a bad photo!!

Angelita was really, really great for our small wedding (42 people) at One Ocean in Atlantic Beach, Florida. She is very creative! Make sure to give her clear direction on what you want. The only thing I regret is not telling her to do more candid pictures of our guests but it's hard to be focused on both us and them at the same time. The ones she did take are amazing. Our friends and family thought she totally captured the feel of this extremely special event in our lives. You will not go wrong with Angelita!!!!

With the rising costs of our wedding budget, we almost decided on getting a cheaper local photographer. But when we looked at Angelita's work compared to other photographers, her photos noticeably appeared to be dramatic (check her site and see for yourself!). We decided that's what we truly wanted, because we wanted our memories to last and also have photos worthy of enlarging and framing. The photos came out AMAZING, and we are so glad that we forked over a little extra money for talent because it's so worth it - and you get much more than what you pay for. For some reason I think that our photos came out better than her previous work (she is getting better!) - she seemed to have learned new lighting techniques that made some of the shots look epic - I got goosebumps when I saw them! My husband jokes that everyone will remember our wedding much better than it actually was because of the photos. :)
As for working with her, Angelita has a very sweet personality that is very pleasant to work with. Her pricing and timeline is straightforward (the plus-side of working with professionals). She did both our engagement and wedding photos, and she's fast when she works and gives specific shot directions - she's undeniably a pro who knows what she's doing, and there's a big comfort to that during the shoot. ^_^ Other reviews have mentioned her creative eye - and it's true! She spots otherwise overlooked details in the surroundings and turns them into beautifully framed and dramatic shots. Oh by the way, our photos were ready for online viewing exactly one week after the wedding, which was a nice surprise. :) She also mails a disc of your pictures to you.

I have seen Angel's amazing work through other couples weddings so I knew that when I got married, I wanted her to be my photographer. That being said, right after I got engaged, she was the first vendor I booked. I booked her for our engagement photos and of course for our wedding. I cannot even begin to explain how happy we were with her work. There were so many beautiful shots that I have a hard time picking my favorites. Every time we show off our wedding pictures, our friends and family have commented on how great our pictures are and how they look like they should be in a magazine.
Not only is Angel's work great, but her professionalism is top notch. She was always quick to respond to any questions. She also adds personal touches to every thing she gives us. You can tell that she is very passionate about her work because she lives and breaths it. 4 days after our wedding, she had posted all of our pictures onto her website! I could not believe her promptness, but that just goes to show that her work is her life.
I can go on and on about Angel, but I would run out of room! Take it from me and other brides, if you are looking for a photographer, she is the one! Once we start building a family, she is doing all of our baby and family photos :) We will be using her for a lifetime.

Angel has been so great to work with. With a true passion for photography, you couldn’t ask for a better wedding vendor. One thing that I look for in a great vendor is timely responses with detailed information and pricing upfront. Angel has always been very professional in that aspect, and there have never been surprises for us as her customers. You know exactly what you are getting and exactly how much it will be. Angel’s work is also quite stunning. The time and care she takes during and after the wedding really show how personal she can get with her work. It’s those personal touches that really brought us to her business. Her work both with the camera and post processing shots is nothing short of spectacular. We will definitely be using her for all our professional photography needs even beyond our wedding. You will not be disappointed.

I have nothing to say but amazing things about Angelita and her assistants! After receiving her response on Thumbtack, I visited her website and was immediately drawn to her engagement/wedding photography. It was pretty much a no-brainer for my husband and I to decide Angelita was the photographer for us. We offered her the job and it was the smartest decision we made in the whole wedding process (other than saying "I do" of course ;). Her communication with me was always very responsive and speedy which was important since this was to be a destination wedding. After our phone consult, I was confident she understood my vision for the wedding and also had her own great ideas to add. As part of our package, she included an Engagement session. At first I wasn't sure if we were going to be able to fit it in before the wedding but Angelita was so flexible with my schedule and encouraged us to do it so we could get to know each other a bit before the wedding. I couldn't be happier that we found time to fit it in! As for our wedding photos, I couldn't have asked for anything more. Angelita shot everything: getting ready, the ceremony, group photos, dancing, smashing - I mean 'cutting' - the cake. Everything from that night is a magical blur and I'm so happy I had a fairy godmother to capture it all on film. Do yourself a favor and book a session with her. Seriously though, I think she has fairy dust in her camera :)

Angelita is an amazing photographer! She was able to capture every wonderful moment of my wedding, with breath taking pictures! Absolutely loved working with Angelita. Had a different photographer for my engagement shoot and her work didn't even come close to Angelita's. Responded to my e-mails/phone calls promptly and genuinely wanted to make my day as easy and stress free as possible. Asked the necessary questions and showed interest in wanting to know what we wanted, our background, and possible shots that would mean something to us. Got photographs back to us extremely quickly, gave us sneak peaks of the pictures a couple days after the wedding, and stayed in contact with us along the way. Quality of the photographs was great, Angelita even put the print release on the dvd! Other photographers I worked with took up to 8 weeks to get photos back, wouldn't answer phone calls, and would forget to do certain things (ie. give the print release). Beyond pleased with Angelita and highly recommend!
