I cannot recommend Angelica enough! Not only was she a joy to talk to and get to know, she made my fiancee and I feel comfortable enough with the photo process to take some amazing photos! She gave us so much useful advice prior to our engagement shoot and came up with creative poses/angles throughout our shoot. The turn around time to get our prints was quicker than I expected too. Definitely check her out for your photo needs.

We found Angelica on LivingSocial. There was a special for an engagement shoot so we jumped on it. We were a little skeptical since you never know what you're getting on LS but all fears went away within the first 10 minutes. She and Matthew went above and beyond to make sure we had a memorable experience. We received the proof quickly and couldn't decide because there were so many great pictures. We are so glad we took a chance otherwise we would have never met this amazing photographer who we just booked for our wedding.

Angelica (and Matt!) were amazing! My husband and I knew before we left from our initial meeting that she would be our photographer for our engagement shoot and wedding. We met with a few others before Angelica and we didn’t click with any of them. However, chatting with Angelica and Matt was like chatting with friends. They were super easy going and completely understood what we wanted for photos. For our engagement photos, my husband and I were super self-conscious and she put us at ease. Angelica definitely goes above and beyond – she was able to accommodate 3 locations for our engagement shoot! She was also more than accommodating on our wedding on a (very!) cold March day. Matt ran the photo booth and was a pro! Between our first meeting and our wedding, Angelica even gave us thoughtful gifts to remind us to take a break from wedding planning and just enjoy being engaged. She’s also super responsive on emails and everything is online, which makes it so much easier!

I didn't even plan to have a photographer for our engagement party until I saw some of Angelica's galleries. Her photos looked gorgeous, lively, and intimate. The party was only a few weeks away at this point, and I contacted Angelica on a whim. Thankfully, since it was afternoon party, it fit into her schedule, and Angelica was fantastic.

She was right on time, took all the photos I asked her to, and captured dozens of other meaningful moments I wasn't even aware were happening. It's a wonderful feeling to be surprised by photos of a party you attended! I never had to worry about a single thing. She got at least one photo of every single person at the party--and everything looks great. One of my bridesmaids called me, giddy, because her new boyfriend had changed his profile picture to Angelica's photo of him & her at the party. "I know it's because he thinks he looks good in it," she said, "but I don't care!"

Angelica's a native New Yorker and knows the city well. She also deals well with a variety of personalities, from mine (clueless & indecisive), to my maid of honor (boisterous & bossy), to my family's (loud and Italian). She just fit right in--my dad even asked if she was one of my friends. After the party, my family unanimously reported that they loved Angelica, and that was before we even saw the pictures! Her prints are reasonably-priced and gorgeous (I ordered a few as Christmas presents). She has also gone above and beyond after the event. Our mail was stolen (including our image DVD), and she sent another right away. She also included a bonus ten-minute slideshow set to music, featuring all the images. Angelica just blew all our expectations out of the water.

Honestly, I wondered if it was overkill to hire a professional photographer for an engagement party, but I am 100% glad we did. I didn't have to worry for a second about who had a camera and whether we were getting all the shots I wanted or if Grandma blinked during that special photo. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. If only choosing a venue were so easy!

Angelica is by far the upmost professional and talented wedding photographer. Her attention to detail and her keen eye for her photography work make her the best in the business. What impressed me the most is her sense of humor and the love she puts into her personal work. She is very efficient in her turnaround with getting images back to the client in a timely manner. We got ours in about TWO WEEKS after our wedding day. My husband is not a big fan of taking pictures and getting photographed but Angelica won him over instantly. What is truly special to us is that Angelica works alongside her husband who assists her during photo sessions whenever possible. We loved having this dynamic duo work alongside one another on our wedding day. I loved seeing how Angelica's husband truly supported her gifts, talents and abilities. We have embraced Angelica Criscuolo Photography as our FAMILY Photographer, who not only captured our Engagement pictures last spring (April 2012) during the Cherry Blossom season in the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens but who also blessed us with capturing our wedding day this year (April 2013). We look forward to continuing to work alongside her and having her capture many more lifetime milestones that are yet to come.
For all brides considering a wedding photographer, hire Angelica Criscuolo Photography, one thing I will say for sure is that you can place all your trust in her. I was able to enjoy my wedding day and not worry about pictures I desired not being captured. Angelica captured all my requests and even captured additional images in accordance to her own taste and flavor with her creative eye.
When my husband and I received back our wedding photos to view, we spent 3 hours looking through and reliving our wedding day. We cried as we slowly glimpsed at the images because each and every photo was detailed retelling of our special day, our wedding day.

My fiancée and I booked an engagement photo shoot with Angelica in DUMBO. Going in to the photo shoot, we were a bit nervous , not knowing what to expect.

Angelica (& Matt) helped put us at ease immediately with their warm personalities and professionalism. They got to know us, our cultural preferences and personalities and catered the photo shoot accordingly. They used their years of experience to lead us to spectacular backdrops, help us pose for the camera, and capture us in amazing photos.

Additionally, with our photo shoot scheduled for a cold winter day in NYC, they were very accommodating. They helped us throughout the process by holding our coats while we were in front of the camera, taking timely breaks to allow us to warm up, and even treating us to some much needed coffee.

We had a great time at the photo shoot with Angelica and Matt and were thrilled with the photos we received. We've recommended them to our friends and family and would encourage anyone else who is seeking a photographer to choose Angelica Criscuolo Photography.

Digital Photobooth-Amazing!

We had the digital photobooth at our wedding! It was so much fun! The guest had an awesome time using it. The machine was small and easy to use. Angelica was a pleasure to work with, she answered any and all questions we had and made sure everything ran smoothly. I would highly recommend her for your photography needs/amazing photobooth!

I cannot begin to express how thrilled I am with Angelica's photography. I am a difficult person to begin with, and also have high expectations.
However, Angelica absolutely blew me away with her work. She was able to work with me provide me with the photos in the time frame I needed them by.

She was such a joy to work with. I will absolutely recommend her to anyone and everyone who is in the market for a professional photographer.

I recently got engaged to my best friend and I could not be more excited to start looking at wedding things and go to bridal shows. So the first week engaged I dragged my mom to a bridal show at Bergen Community College. Figured it be a fun start to all things wedding. When I got to the bridal show I quickly fell in love with Angelica (one of the three photographers at the show). She was extremely nice and her work was amazing, and I was lucky to win her free engagement shoot!
My fiancé and I made arrangements to meet with Angelica at South Street Seaport for our shoot. She met us there with her husband/assistant. We had an amazing time and she made us feel very comfortable since neither one of us is use to being in front of the camera.
We were super excited about getting our pictures back but I was going crazy knowing it would take2 weeks to get them back. To my surprise Angelica got out images done much faster and they were outrageous. Who knew we were such a hot couple! Plus you could barely see my braces in any of the pictures, which was big for me because I am not the biggest fan of them.
I would defiantly recommend Angelica. She is friendly, nice, professional, timely, and her work is great! What more could you ask for?

From beginning to end Angelica was professional and easy to work with. Our photos and photo books are a beautiful portrait of our day. I love that she includes an engagement shoot to learn how to be photographed (yes you need this) and I also love that the photos are yours to own and easily accessible online. Everything was prepared and ready for us so quickly because Angelica is amazing.

One of my favorite vendors! We did not get back our pictures yet, but have received some teasers, and we did our engagement pictures with her, so we know her quality of work already.
The engagement pictures were great - of course it was a little awkward at first, but that's to be expected. But, she & her husband (also her assistant) make it very comfortable and actually helped us to relax. We took our pictures in the middle of the winter, outside, and they did not complain at all - even though I did lol.
The pictures came out great, and we even got a book - which looks so good as well!
I was nervous going with her at first as compared to others, she is just starting out, but she was very good at her job and I think the fact that she is recently married helped a lot.
On the wedding day, she was very accommodating to all of my friends and family. She did not mind other people taking pics (which was a big one for me) and she was very unobtrusive. Everyone loved her and we can't wait to get the pictures back!

Let me start off by saying that I am obsessed with Angelica Criscuolo and will use her to take any professional photos I need for the rest of my life! My mom originally found Angelica online and hired her to capture the night that we got engaged, at the quintessential small-town bakery where we had our first date. From the moment I saw those initial candid photos from that night, I was hooked! Angelica is like a ninja...she captures the most incredible moments, but you don't even know she's there! She's not in your face and she makes you feel natural and comfortable. From our proposal night, to our engagement shoot, to our wedding day, I was nothing but impressed and elated with the photographs that Angelica delivers. She's professional, prompt, sweet, and so experienced. She's got the right equipment and expertise to capture the most beautiful moments and shots in any environment. Her husband and assistants are all wonderful as well! She makes you feel like you're a part of her family, and is willing to go anywhere! From NYC, she schlepped all the way to Sandy Hook, NJ for our engagement shoot at 6 AM on an August morning! No stress and fabulous photos! Thanks so much Angelica (and Matt)!!!

My fiance and I hired Angelica to take engagement photos for us. We couldn't be happier! She has an amazing eye and knows many tricks of the trade that made the photos come out outstanding. She has amazing interpersonal skills and was an absolute pleasure to work with. We would recommend her to anyone looking for an event or personal photographer. Her personality meshes very well with her clientele and she is patient and takes the time to get to know what the clients want. We really appreciated this aspect of her and her easy going nature made the day fun instead of a chore. She was great about implementing the environment, lighting, angles etc.. into the pics and they really made them "pop". Very happy with the results and have only positive things to say about her. She also incorporated our French Bulldog, who we absolutely adore, into the photos. Absolute gem to work with.

\"My husband and I were very cautious about picking our photographer for our November 2011 wedding. After a few bridal showcases and literally months of online research, we found that there was reason to worry. More than a few of the photography companies had the same pictures in their portfolios as other companies. Each claimed that the other must have been using them illegally. Some vendors used samples from photographers that they weren\'t employing anymore. Some vendors promised huge packages, but the quality of the pictures was missing. Upon putting all of the pieces together for this ugly puzzle, we feared that we would need to go way over budget for good quality pictures…but we were WRONG!\r\nOur decision to use Angelica Criscuolo was hands-down the smartest vendor choice we didn’t expect to make. We had seen her albums of editorial engagement shoots, baby shoots and freelance work on Facebook which prompted a meeting. In our first meeting we had the usual chit-chat and then Angelica went on to tell us what was important and integral for her as a photographer. We were very pleasantly surprised that every point she made aligned beautifully with our wants for our wedding photography. She gave us a personalized package that fit our budget, and was perfect. \r\nWe had a very untraditional affair and she fit right in with our ideals. She was free-flowing the morning of our wedding, never intruding on our natural excitement with instructions so we could have more candid shots…but also very good with direction when we took group and family pictures. With camera and accessories in tow, Angelica was able to capture our day, all our guests, and all the small details we want to remember from the best day of our lives.\r\nShe was very accessible for questions and special requests. Although it was not discussed in advance, our families requested a few photos to be edited so we could have then out during the holidays. She edited 10-12 shots within 2 weeks of the wedding for use in family Christmas newsletters. As promised, she also had our entire website of proofs available within 3 months. I have never heard any other bride have such outstanding quality and fully edited pictures in such a short amount of time.\r\nShe was dedicated, personable, professional and a lot of fun. I have recommended her to others for wedding and baby pictures, which also seems make a wonderful gift for soon-to-be-brides and moms. Angelica has a long future in photography, and I am sure my husband and I will use her services again for important affairs.\"\r\n-S. Burke\r\n

Our wedding is going to be in Oregon but we needed to take our engagement photos in NYC, since we currently live here. We told Angelica we were on a budget and that we only wanted digital copies of the pictures and she was able to accommodate us completely. Not only was she flexible, she gave us a great deal and we got amazing pictures. She was really professional but also fun. We really enjoyed roaming central park with her and her husband and cant wait to share the pictures with our friends and family! She got them to us even sooner than we expected as well. I would HIGHLY recommended her for any photographer needs you have! We wish we had it in our budget to drag her out to Oregon with us!

We were really happy that we chose Angelica for our destination wedding. Angelica shot our welcome party, ceremony, reception, and trash the dress session.

Angelica didn’t just blend into the wedding party, she really did become part of the group. Far from taking people out the moment, many of the group shots became the moment. One of our best memories of the welcome party was Angelica jovially corralling the entire wedding party of over seventy people for a group shot. It was one of those moments everyone remembers, and a great picture to boot.

On the wedding day itself, Angelica glided through the ceremony and reception effortlessly. Not a moment was disrupted or interrupted, yet all the important ones were captured. As we flick through our wedding photos, it’s wonderful to see the little things that we missed, but which Angelica was able to capture – the smiles on our parent’s faces, the genuine happiness of our guests, even a telling look between us that we don’t honestly recall.

After shooting all day, Angelica then rose literally at dawn for a trash the dress session. Despite having little to no sleep, she was her usually personable and energetic self. You can tell she loves what she does, and that her heart is truly in it. We spent an enjoyable hour playing around on the beach, which delivered us fun and romantic Thank You photos.

We’d wholeheartedly recommend Angelica to anyone looking for a good wedding photographer. She worked incredibly hard, took setbacks in her stride, and really added a lot to our wedding. We ended up with the kind of pictures that are only possible if your photographer marries technical ability, passion for their craft and the people skills to really enhance and capture the moments that will define your wedding.

Chose to go with this photographer after speaking to 3 others. Her work is phenomenal and she is amazing to work with. She made posing for the camera easy work. Would definitely recommend her to anyone shopping around for a wedding photographer.

October 5, 2016 was The New York Police & Fire Widows' and Children's Benefit Fund's Annual Gala. It is not only an opportunity to bring together those we serve but it is our largest fundraising event of the year. Angelica did an amazing job and captured so many wonderful and beautiful memories of that evening. Angelica was super flexible and generous with her time. She was personable, professional, and easy to work with. Our experience with Angelica was enjoyable and we would recommend her to anyone! Thank you Angelica!

Angelica was wonderful to work with. She provided our engagement photos for us. She was easy to reach and schedule. She made us feel comfortable and had a great sense of humor. She shot photos of us outdoors and even though it turned out to be very cold that day you would never be able to tell from her images. From the moment we first met Angelica to see her work and discuss her packages, we knew she was the one. My husband and I were always awkward picture takers in posed settings but Angelica made us look like naturals in our engagement shoot and formal wedding shots. She captured all the candid and memorable moments at our wedding that even we missed or forgot about in all the hustle. Our guests loved the InstaMemory Photo Booth, they lined up all night and when she posted all the photobooth pictures to her website, they had a blast tagging themselves! We received our proofs super fast and had our album by Thanksgiving! We can't recommend her highly enough because she was a big part of making our day so much fun and memorable.

BREATHTAKING PICTURES!!!

Choosing a good photographer is one of the most important things in the wedding planning process. All the time and energy that goes into it deserves the best. These memories can only be captured once, so it had better be done right! We were instantly impressed with the quality and experience Angelica and her husband brought to our special day. They had a great attitude which made everyone easy to interact with and it was really fun! The pictures were very creative and captured the moments of the day with a magical look. I'm glad that our memories of the best day of our lives were captured with such quality and style so that we can all look back and remember whenever we want...
