We just LOVE LOVE LOVE Angelica! She is hands-down one of the kindest, loveliest and most talented wedding planners I've had the privilege of working with. She’s organized, detail-oriented, and truly amazing at what she does. She has a way of making everyone feel comfortable and cared for at all times and always has a smile on her face. She is also a fantastic creator and designer - her weddings have the most creative and beautiful personalized touches that make every wedding of hers feel so special. As a wedding photographer, I’ve worked with a lot of planners, and she truly is the best of the best. Our whole team always looks forward to working with Angelica because we know the day will be fabulous and seamless. Angelica was AMAZING! I highly recommend her for any wedding in the Charlottesville, VA or Washington, DC area. We met Angelica as we were looking for our venue, and loved her from the start, but we, like newbies were on a budget and weren't sure we needed a planner. After a few months of diving into the planning process ourselves (we had a 15-month engagement period), we decided we needed help, and hired her on as our planner. BEST DECISION EVER. The first thing that she did was sit down with us over lunch and help us get our entire ceremony straight, figuring out where the gaps and issues in our planning so far were, and helping us come up with a plan where there was none. Angelica steered us towards amazing catering, hair, DJ, and flower vendors in Charlottesville using her fabulous knowledge of the Charlottesville wedding scene. She was cool as a cucumber when we put her on the phone with both of our mothers AT THE SAME TIME when they had questions about details of the ceremony. Every step of the way, Angelica helped us get through the process with extreme responsiveness, professionalism and quality, and she was committed to making sure we were happy with every detail. As an example, the one thing I felt strongly about was walking down the aisle to meet my wife during one very particular part of a song, and she 100% made the timing work. There is no way we could have had the wonderful day we had without her with us at the venue. If it's not obvious by now, we highly recommend this awesome lady!!Angelica was AMAZING! Phenomenal
The only word to describe Angelica is PHENOMENAL. She made our entire wedding planning process so relaxed and easy--which is to say a lot given that we had to reschedule the wedding for three different dates and threw her many curveballs along the way. We planned the perfect wedding for June of 2020, which of course we had to postpone due to COVID. We went ahead and got married at my in-laws, but planned to celebrate with everyone in September of 2020. That also had to be postponed until September 2021. Despite the three reschedules, Angelica was able to find dates that kept our original vendor team in tact! The next curveball came when we let Angelica know that winter that we were expecting a baby, and would have a 4 month old baby girl at our wedding celebration. Angelica was great accommodating this and making sure we could include our new baby as part of the day. As you might expect, our priorities really shifted during the pregnancy and with our newborn and Angelica picked up all of the slack and managed everything for us. She was patient with my lack of responses to emails, and competing priorities. She took on additional tasks--such as picking out my flowers for the third time around-without me needing to get involved. About a month out from our wedding, we threw another giant curveball and told Angelica that we wanted my sister and her fiance (whose wedding also had to be postponed due to COVID) to get married at our vow renewal and celebration. Angelica handled this like an absolute CHAMP, and made it happen. She worked with our photographer to develop a timeline that enabled both my sister and I to have our photos, our ceremonies, and share a reception. The day and night were incredible, and I was able to relax and enjoy myself because of Angelica's hard work. Many people have told me how the event was one of the most joyous they had ever been to, and that it was just an overall relaxed, chill, fun environment--which is the exact vibe we were going for! I could not recommend Angelica enough. She also handled my very anal and detail oriented Dad amazingly well, including him bombarding her with texts the day before the wedding! The best investment of our wedding!
The best thing we booked for our wedding was the 30 day out wedding planning with Angelica & Co!! I felt comfortable picking things out design wise but it was super helpful to have someone there the last 30 days to collaborate with all of our vendors in order to make sure our day went smoothly. Rather than being stressed about wrapping up final to do's before the wedding & checking in with all vendors, Angelica handled that for us. She created a wedding day timeline and sent it out to all of our vendors ahead of the wedding. She also created a timeline that we were able to send out to our bridal parties as well. Even though we handled the design ourselves, Angelia was a pro at giving last minute suggestions during our 30 day walkthrough. She was available through email at any time to answer questions. Since she has been a part of planning so many weddings, she was able to think of the best layout for the reception room/cocktail hour, best time to do speeches, etc. She was super helpful the day of the wedding- so calm throughout the day, got along with everyone in our families & bridal party, navigated the rehearsal respectfully but loud enough to get everyone together and to know directions. She worked behind the scenes the whole day to handle arrivals, set up, etc. It felt great to know that someone was handling all of the small details while we were getting ready. She went above and beyond, out of her way, to make sure I had the best day possible - tracked the incoming rain storm in order to help us have our ceremony outside, ran to find my platform sandals when my feet hurt in my heels, got my portable fan from my brother in law's car when I was hot during the reception, bustled my dress before walking into reception (even requested a video of this ahead of time which tells you she knows what she is doing!) and helped me get my veil out of my hair after pictures. All of these moments felt like I was just hanging out with a friend who had my back! Highly, highly recommend!!! Angelica was great!
Angelica was absolutely fantastic, my only regret is she wasn’t the very first vendor we booked before anything else! Angelica helped take the stress out of planning and brought a lot of joy to the process. We particularly appreciated how much she wanted to help us bring our vision to life, and wasn’t pushy forcing us into a particular style. But she did give us invaluable advice and guidance along the way and we relied on her expertise a lot. Angelica and her partner Natalie were incredible to work with and we could not have been happier with our wedding, largely thanks to their influence. They were accessible, resourceful, and thoughtful every step of the way, and they had excellent taste and insight for every decision; our wedding was stunning and we were thrilled with all the vendors that they recommended for us. We signed up for the "partial planning" service and it was worth every penny. The pre-wedding planning was much easier with their guidance; they were present and ran the show for meetings with the venue, caterer, florist, rentals, etc., and the day of went off flawlessly under their direction. Such an amazing experience
My husband and I can not thank Angelica and Margot enough for all their hard work and dedication! Our wedding turned out more beautiful than we expected. The time Margot took from the moment we hired her to the moment her team left after our reception was so amazing. Angelica and Margot had a very personal touch and they did a lot of the behind the scenes work that made my husband and I relax during our special day!! I cannot recommend them enough!!My husband and I can not thank Angelica and Margot enough for all their hard work and dedication! Our wedding turned out more beautiful than we expected. It’s not often that you talk to a bride after the big day and she says that literally nothing strayed from the plan and nothing went wrong, but this past December, that was the case! I was part of a beautiful wedding at King Family Vineyards that took your breath away.
Angelica, aside from being one of the friendliest and happiest people I’ve ever met, was on top of every single detail and moving piece leading up to and on the day of the wedding! She was full of tips and tricks, and was willing to help in anyway that she could, including keeping us fed and caffeinated :)
The day was so perfect that my fiancé and I are considering having her as our coordinator as well! :)

The Dream Team
Angelica and Natalie are quite literally the dream team! They made the process of wedding planning and the actual day of flow so smoothly and took so much stress off the day. It was a joy to work with them; they are so professional, but also some of the biggest hype women around and helped make the day SO FUN! They had great creative ideas, but were very respectful of our vision for our big day. I have nothing but great things to say, and would recommend them to any of my friends getting married in the DC area.Angelica and Natalie are quite literally the dream team! If you're looking for a wedding planner, you have to hire Angelica!
As a wedding photographer myself, I’ve had the pleasure with working with her as both a fellow vendor and a bride. On wedding days I’ve seen how dedicated she is to her clients and how much care she puts into her work. Any time I’ve worked alongside her I know the day is going to run smoothly and she’s going to have brought together the best team of vendors to serve her clients.
When the time came for my own wedding I knew how important it was to have an organized and experienced planner to help and Angelica immediately came to mind! From the get go she made myself and my husband feel so at ease with the planning process and listened thoughtfully to all of our ideas. I really felt like she understood my vision and cared deeply about what we wanted. She kept us organized, offered ideas and helpful feedback, and guided us through next steps when we were unsure how to proceed. We especially appreciated her guidance when it came to our reception design, where she took our ideas and elevated them into something truly beautiful.
Our wedding day unexpectedly happened to land on the same weekend a hurricane was hitting Charlottesville, but that didn’t throw Angelica off for a second. Her excitement for her clients, professionalism and kindness makes her the very best and our whole experience with her was wonderful.As a wedding photographer myself, I’ve had the pleasure with working with her as both a fellow vendor and a bride. On wedding days I’ve seen how dedicated she is to her clients and how much care she puts into her work. Any time I’ve worked alongside her I know the day is going to run smoothly and she’s going to have brought together the best team of vendors to serve her clients.
When the time came for my own wedding I knew how important it was to have an organized and experienced planner to help and Angelica immediately came to mind! From the get go she made myself and my husband feel so at ease with the planning process and listened thoughtfully to all of our ideas. I really felt like she understood my vision and cared deeply about what we wanted. She kept us organized, offered ideas and helpful feedback, and guided us through next steps when we were unsure how to proceed. We especially appreciated her guidance when it came to our reception design, where she took our ideas and elevated them into something truly beautiful.
Our wedding day unexpectedly happened to land on the same weekend a hurricane was hitting Charlottesville, but that didn’t throw Angelica off for a second. Angelica is AMAZING!!!
Matt and I are what I guess you can call a "COVID couple" who ended up changing our wedding date three times and our venue. Angelica met us back in December of 2019 and stuck with us through it all! She is responsive, reliable, knowledgeable, creative and has the most positive energy (which any bride needs during a global pandemic). Our goal when selecting vendors was to make sure we felt 100% comfortable with them so that we could be ourselves - after just speaking with Angelica over the phone, I knew that would be the case. Angelica and her team are exceptionally organized and come ready to knock it out of the park! Thanks to them, we were truly able to relax and be in the moment the entire day with zero stress! Outstanding Experience with Angelica
Angelica was the wedding planner of our dreams. She immediately understood the vibe my wife and I were going for and made sure that all the major decisions drew upon that. The entire process had the perfect amount of communication; available if/when we had a question, but not overly pestering with questions. And on the day of she was absolutely spectacular; it felt like she was always there when we needed something. Angelica helped ensure our special day was everything we wanted. She was extremely fun to work with and, more importantly, a good person! Cannot say enough stellar things about our experience.Angelica was the wedding planner of our dreams. She went FAR above and beyond...
Newly engaged, my fiance and I worked our way through venue listing after venue listing in the Charlottesville, VA region on all the major wedding websites. We stumbled onto the venue (a vineyard) that we ultimately chose almost by chance right around Christmas time and set up a meeting with the event coordinator. As a bride who was quickly fatigued by the wedding planning process, I was excited to meet her as she was mentioned in almost every review of the venue.
The day of the visit dawned with thick snow covering everything--there was no way we were going to make it out to the Albemarle County countryside. Never one to let inconvenient weather stand in the way, Angelica offered to introduce us to the venue via video chat! A couple of weeks later, my fiance and I drove to see the venue and meet Angelica in person. Our venue contract offered us use of the venue coordinator as a day-of wedding coordinator (DOC) for an additional fee, which we deferred. As soon as we got in the car, I looked at my fiance and said, “She’s too good to be working for someone else--let’s wait and hire her as our wedding planner when she starts her own business!”
Sure enough, a few months later Angelica & Co. was born and I was THRILLED to engage Angelica and her awesome team as our month-of coordinator. Far from limiting her services to the final 30 days, Angelica was with me at every sticking point in the planning process, explaining etiquette when family had me frazzled, offering vendor options, and giving advice on how to get the most bang for my buck on everything from decor to invitations to catering packages.
On the day of my wedding, Angelica made sure I did not need to worry about a single thing, even though it started raining half an hour before our outdoor ceremony. She knew exactly what my qualms were about our plan B and took steps to set up BOTH the plan A and plan B ceremony locations. Although we needed to use plan B, Angelica made sure that it was as close to perfect as I could have imagined.
Throughout the night she and her team artfully managed:
A bridesmaid’s dress zipper breaking just before entering the ceremony.
Ceremony details such as a ring warming.
A lackluster caterer who mismanaged a series of details.
My broken dress bustle.
Drunk wedding guests.
Final load out and closing down the venue.
I needed someone who would make sure that I received the support I needed leading up to the wedding itself and who would make sure that I could optimize time with my guests rather than trying to run a wedding from the dance floor and Angelica delivered big time. Angelica made our dreams come true
Besides deciding to marry each other, Angelica was hands-down, far-and-away the best decision we made in terms of our wedding. We selected a remote venue (Moss Vineyards) - beautiful location but required a ton of logistics, especially for a party of our size. Angelica pulled together all the components beautifully, even re-working layout and logistics plans multiple times to ensure our vision was fulfilled. She recommended excellent vendors in the Charlottesville area (caterer, photographer, florist, cake), all of whom were excellent.
Leading up to the wedding, Angelica was attentive to ensure that items stayed on-track but also respected our "laidback" approach to the planning process. She was always responsive and available for any questions. In addition to calls/emails, we met twice in person at the venue to discuss plans in detail. Angelica runs her meetings and business in an extremely professional, yet fun and friendly manner.
By the time it was day of wedding, I felt that we had gotten to know Angelica pretty well. This made me very comfortable (and relieved) to put everything in Angelica's hands for the day of wedding. I was completely confident that for any last minute decisions she would make the right call. And she did. The day came together more beautifully than I could ever have imagined. Angelica pulled off a spectacular wedding that involved transporting 150 guests to a remote location in the mountains, a vineyard ceremony, flipping the setting to outdoor garden seating with multiple food stations, and many more details. It was a heavy logistical lift that took vision, hard work, and impeccable coordination with all the team (not to mention some interesting rain back-up plans). Even after the wedding was over, Angelica followed up on several items to ensure all loose ends were tied up with our vendors.
Not only did WE find Angelica awesome, but multiple members of our wedding party (who have been part of many other weddings) commented on how great she was. I cannot recommend Angelica more highly for anyone getting married in the Charlottesville or D.C. area. My only regret was not getting Angelica's "full" package (we had "partial") as I know it would have been worth every single penny.

From our first call, I knew that Angelica was the perfect person to help guide us through the wedding planning process. She helped us with coordination and design and just went above and beyond. She guided us through the whole process, making sure we were on track for our short 5 month timeline. She was always up front and honest about pricing for different vendors and what was realistic, which was so helpful. She is experienced (and beloved) in the local industry, so she knows the best vendors to work. We had many vendors respond “Oh we LOVE working with Angelica” and sometimes even offer discounts.
The best was in the leadup to the wedding, she took over all vendor communication giving us the opportunity to spend time with friends and family and get excited - she is someone you can truly trust to pull it all off. My biggest piece of advice is to have a coordinator at the very least - she sheparded our wedding parties around during the ceremony rehearsal and went through details that my husband and I would have never thought of. She and Alexandria were so amazing on our wedding day that I didn’t even think about any logistics and was able to fully enjoy every moment. Wedding Genius & Lifelong Planner
When my husband, Joey, and I got engaged, we knew we needed to hire a professional wedding planner. Luckily for us, we already knew Angelia and had seen the beautiful weddings she had planned - from budget friendly weddings to elaborate and expensive.
Hiring Angelica was a no-brainer and a must-have. While some vendors I was willing to compromise on, she was not one of them. I even asked for her spring availability before picking a date and looking at venues because I KNEW I needed her to be our wedding planner. From the beginning, Angelica was professional, kind, energetic, and full of ideas. Everything you could ever want in a wedding planner and more.
We were full-steam ahead for a May 2020 wedding when COVID hit. Talk about a huge bummer and a stressful situation no bride ever wants to be in. But fortunately for us, we had Angelica. While postponing our wedding was not ideal, it was the best decision for us and Angelica held our hands throughout the entire process. She took care of contacting all of our vendors, figuring out what dates each vendor had available in the fall (so that we didn't have to replace any) and handled all of the postponement contracts. All we had to do was read it and sign. I honestly don't know what I would have done without her. She took a crappy situation and helped make it feel less crappy. Not everyone can do that. And I am so thankful to her for her endless words of encouragement and support as I 'grieved' my spring wedding.
But let's talk about some fun stuff! The design details Angelica sent us for our wedding were everything I could have ever dreamt of. It's like she knew what I was thinking before I had even thought it! And she really took the time to include personal touches that made our wedding unique and special. Like our pets. As 'mom and dad' to three dogs and two cats, we knew we wanted to include our furry friends in the wedding in some capacity - after all we had adopted four out of the five together - but just weren't sure how to do that tastefully. In her design, she included little details that acknowledged our love for our pets which was truly the icing on the cake. If I wasn't sold before I hired her, I was when I received that design proposal!
The day of the wedding was breathtaking. I have no words to describe how wonderful it was. Angelica handled every little detail and made sure each and every person, vendor and dog was doing what they/it needed to do. Was I a little stressed when it started raining? Yes. Did Angelica calm my nerves and help me see the beauty in the rain (which ended up going away)? Absolutely. And that's what you get when you hire Angelica. She doesn't just care about creating a beautiful wedding; she cares about the couple and creating lasting memories for everyone involved. From the very first call to emails post-wedding, Angelica isn't just your wedding planner, but a lifelong friend.
