Fantastic Job!

We booked Angelic Strings for our wedding ceremony and brunch reception, and they did a wonderful job! They were very responsive to all of our questions, and they were able to build a beautiful playlist from a few of our favorite song selections. We would recommend them to anyone looking to get married in the Austin area!

Absolutely Beautiful

I worked with Belinda in the beginning and she was very responsive and helpful! There was even a song we wanted that wasn’t on their list and they were able to play it! Once I heard my song being played when I started to walk down the aisle I started crying, they played absolutely beautiful. Highly recommend them.

Bagpiper surprise

Michael and his team are professionals and experts at what they do. They have a variety of music styles to offer and different instruments. For my wedding, I just hired a single bagpiper to play after the ceremony was over. It was awesome to get announced and then the bagpiper started playing. The guests were blown away. He then led the guests across the street to the reception. It was everything I dreamed of!

My now-husband and I met Michael and Belinda at a wedding expo in summer of 2016 and knew right away that we wanted them to play at our 6/3/17 wedding. They were the first vendors we booked. They're both kind, genuine, patient people and play beautifully. They are very professional, responsive and flexible and politely answered all of my questions and kept up with a couple of last minute changes. We had no complaints or concerns with them whatsoever. I love that they're a married couple - it feels very sweet and appropriate at a wedding! They have samples of their repertoire on their website and it was very easy to go through and make selections. I walked down the aisle to "Clair de Lune" and got lots of compliments on it. Highly recommended!

Make sure to take time to go over what music you want played. That really helped us. Also a good idea to listen to both the smaller harp and the big harp to get a feel for the differences in sound. And definitely best to have both the harp and the viola play together! And loved the bagpipes! We used that instrument as a way to start off our reception. Awesome!

All I can say is WOW... I/ we could not have been more pleased with our ceremony music! My planner found Michael and Belinda many months before our wedding when I was originally looking for someone to play the bagpipes (my husband is Scottish and I wanted to surprise him- needless to say, it was a HIT!). Not only does Michael play the bagpipes (quite masterfully), but also the harp and numerous other instruments. His lovely wife Belinda played the viola and the combination was absolutely magical. It literally gave me chills it was so beautiful and my husband and his family were blown away by the surprise bagpipes! The beautiful music Michael and Belinda played was truly the "icing on the cake" at our wedding. So thrilled to have had the honor of them performing!

Angelic Strings was absolutely phenomenal, I can't speak highly enough of them. The day of the wedding was, like all weddings, very busy. While I was dealing with some last minute adjustments I suddenly noticed I heard music; Michael and his wife Belinda had already set up and begun playing, which was awesome. They noticed I was very busy and rather than bothering me or just hanging around they set right up and began playing for our guests. This small gesture meant worlds to me and it should speak volumes to any potential customers about their commitment to ensuring your wedding is just how you want it to be. In fact, they set up and began playing indoors as most of the guests were there due to the cold weather and when the ceremony started outdoors they were set up and ready (again, without any prompting from myself). It was a real treat to have such professionals working for us and I strongly urge anybody wanting live music at their wedding to put Angelic Strings on their 'short list' of vendors to speak with. You'll be glad you did!

Angelic Strings set the perfect tone for our wedding! Not only did they wow our guests with beautiful music, but they patiently worked with us to create an individualized set list that held so much meaning to my husband and I. They went above and beyond to complete every request we had even going so far to learn a new song we wanted played at our wedding and putting on a private "concert" in their home so we could choose what songs we wanted. Very impressed with the variety of music available, sound quality and the skill level of both instrumentalists.

My husband (then fiance) really wanted some medieval and renaissance music for our wedding and reception. It took me months to find someone in our area who was not already booked, so when I finally found Angelic Strings with Harpist Michael Morris I was beyond thrilled. They were professional and courteous. They were a great help in assisting me with a music list and they even recorded some songs and put them to video so I could preview them before the wedding. It was so wonderful that they traveled all the way from Austin to DFW for our wedding. Michael even threw in some Zelda and Final Fantasy songs for me on request.

The music really made the wedding come together perfectly and my husband was so happy. Everyone at the wedding told me how lovely the music was. They were absolutely fabulous and I couldn't have found a better choice for our wedding music.

You can't go wrong with Angelic Strings. The music is so beautiful and more than that, they made the whole experience so easy. Wonderful, wonderful people.

My husband and I hired Michael and Belinda Morris to perform at our May 2014 wedding ceremony at the Villa Antonia in Austin, TX, and we could not be happier that we did! They did such an incredible job, and added a touch of great elegance and beauty to our wedding with their gorgeous music. So many of our guests could not stop exclaiming over how impressed they were by our choice of artists and instruments for our ceremony music. I only wish I could have heard more of it! As the bride, I was sequestered away and sadly missed their beautiful prelude to the ceremony, but was told by my family and guests that it was everything I could have hoped for and more! Michael and Belinda are also super easy to work with and very flexible. We used Belinda and Michael to play our ceremony music. I had always dreamed of having a harpist play at my wedding. They both play so beautifully. I was so thrilled to have them do our ceremony music. They are both so nice, and accommodating. I would email them questions about whether or not they know how to play a particular song. And they were extremely quick with their reply. When it got closer to our wedding, about 3 weeks before, they met with us again to listen to a few more songs and nail down all the details of what will be played during key parts of the ceremony, as well as what prelude music we wanted. Many of our guests commented on how beautiful the ceremony was because of the instrumental music. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone.

Angelic Strings was the absolutely perfect choice for our ceremony and cocktail half hour.

Michael and Belinda were very nice to work with. They answered all of our questions and made the process run smoothly. They even learned a song for us!

Having them do our music added a lovely ambiance to our wedding. It really was so romantic and perfect.

I would highly recommend them to anyone: they are reliable and easy to work with. I found them because they did the music for a friend's wedding, and her ceremony music was lovely as well.

I was absolutely amazed at the duo. They are amazing, even made me cry with their music at our first meeting!! Just great, they have a wide selection of music and are even willing to learn something that is not on their list (but they have everything). I would highly recommend their services, just fabulous!!

Belinda and Michael Morris are exquisite musicians. They were able to take my ceremony and transform it into a dream-like sequence with their romantic music playing. Everyone thought it was SO beautiful! They also "hid" over on the side of my ceremony so they wouldn't be in the way, and no one could believe that they were playing live!

They were SUPER easy to work with too. I was so busy I never made time to sit down with them, but they were very accommodating and were able to send me links to certain song suggestions, as well as help me with choosing certain songs for prelude, postlude, etc.

They are also really really polite, nice, and friendly which doesn't hurt! I will recommend them 100% to anyone looking for live ceremony musicians. They are so wonderful!

Angelic Strings were amazing! They were willing to accommodate our musical wants and needs. They know a variety of different songs and if they do not have one you are looking for, they will learn it specially for you. Using the concert harp and viola, they added a special ambiance to our wedding. Let alone, they are wonderful, genuine people that have top notch communication skills and creativity. Michael and Belinda were amazing! They were so very helpful and patient with my daughter the bride and myself the mother-of-the-bride. We didnt know what music we wanted played during the wedding or during our 1-hour reception, but they were able to sit down with us, provide suggestions and go from there. I couldn't have asked for a more beautiful arrangement. The guests were greeted with beautiful music and mingled with elegance. Angelic Strings were a beautiful addition to our ceremony. The harp and viola duo played beautiful music throughout the wedding ceremony and provided an array of tunes for the cocktail hour at the beginning of the reception. Although we were not present for the reception hour due to pictures after the ceremony, our family and friends expressed repeatedly how lovely Michael and Belinda played while hors d'oeuvres were passed. Angelic Strings are professional, communicative when making the arrangements and decisions, have a wide array of songs to choose from in their repertoire, and take special requests for songs. We are very glad we hired them for our special day.

We used Angelic Strings in our wedding and we couldnt even imagine having someone else do it for us once we heard them play. It is an absolutly amazing experience having beautiful music played live at your wedding rather than off of your ipod or something. Michael and Belenda were so sweet and remained constant professionals. My favorite part were the songs they played. I told them i didnt want that traditional churchy music so they played great modern love songs like " Hey there Delilah" and this is on a harp and violin mind you! I would definitely recommend Angelic Strings for any type of wedding they are amazing!!

The music for our daughter's wedding was everything thing we had planned and more. Michael and Belinda are professional and personal. The music was just beautiful with the harp and violin. They took care of everything for the per-ceremony and ceremony music set up...my daughter just selected the music from the CD they provide.

They were wonderful. They had a large variety of music to choose and would learn new pieces too! They learned a rolling stones song for me and my dad to walk down the isle to. all I can say is that they are AMAZING and the variety of music in their repertoire is incredible. We had such a random, nontraditional selection, and they LOVED the choices. My family were impressed at how beautiful the Eagles and Beatles could sound on harp and viola. They play at Viva Chocolato in the domain, so go rock out with them sometime!

The music was perfect, they were both flexible in providing what we were asking for. They learned any music for free, and enjoyed the challenges. Everyone of the guests loved their sounds at the reception and the Canon in D on the hammered dulcimer was perfect.

We were so happy and pleased to be able to book this vendor. This wonderful husband and wife duo were so easy to work with and made it all look so easy! They provided excellent service and were very responsive to questions, emails, calls. They were consumate professionals, who also were very open to unique requests of different twists on things. We appreciated their flexibility in helping find a way to work a few special pieces of music in for us to create our unique wedding music and they also played for the first hour afterwards, during our cocktail hour.

The value for the cost is exceptional and again, they are such a wonderful couple to work with, I would highly recommend them to others and would readily book them for other events in the future if/when needed. They love what they do, and it shows in their work and artistry. Simply beautiful music!

We hired Belinda and Michael with Angelic Strings after hearing them play at an open house at our wedding venue. It was a perfect choice of music for a wedding ceremony. So classy and most importantly, calming! They had an extensive list of music and were quite attentive. The best yet, they were so easy to work with. Great choice.

I loved Belinda and Michael. They were great, very easy to work with and had a very large selection of music to choose from. They even provided suggestion lists to help out when all the choices seemed to overwhelm you. :) I would hightly recomend then to anyone.

Angelic Strings was very easy to work with. They responded to emails quickly and even learned a new song specifically for my walk down the aisle. Our guests, as well as ourselves, really enjoyed the music! It made our ceremony even better!
