I found my dream wedding dress at Angela's Bridal

I cannot say enough amazing things about Angela's Bridal! From the moment I walked in, the entire experience was nothing short of incredible.

When I arrived for my first appointment, I had a few ideas in mind and pulled some dresses I thought I loved. But after seeing what I was naturally gravitating toward, the consultant assisting me suggested a gown I hadn’t even considered. It wasn’t one I originally picked — and it ended up being the one. Their expertise, intuition, and genuine care completely changed my experience.

Every single staff member I worked with was so kind, passionate, and supportive. They made the entire process feel effortless and joyful, from that very first appointment all the way through alterations. The alterations were phenomenal — everything fit perfectly, and I felt completely confident and cared for every step of the way.

I truly ended up with my dream dress and have never felt more beautiful in my life. That feeling is something I’ll never forget. I cannot recommend Angela’s Bridal enough to any bride looking for not just a dress, but an unforgettable experience.

A perfect bridal shop!!

I had the very best experience buying my wedding dress at Love Story! Every person I spoke with there was so friendly and helpful, making the daunting process of choosing "the" dress so much easier! The selection of dresses was really impressive and I was able to try on a ton of different styles to see what looked best. When trying on dresses, they were able to help me see different visions and were really patient when I was indecisive between a couple at the end of my appointment. I'm ultimately so, so happy with the dress I chose. I got to celebrate saying yes with some champagne and the shop made me feel so special and bridal all day!

I also chose to get my veil, alterations, and preservation done with them, too. All experiences were awesome and it was extremely convenient that I could have everything done within the same group.

I would highly recommend Love Story to any bride!!

Amazing experience and LGBTQ+ friendly!

I’m leaving this review for my wife because her experience at Angela’s Bridal deserves to be shared. She absolutely loved working with Janet and Katie, just wow. From the moment she walked in, she felt celebrated. They were so personable, friendly, and full of the best energy. They made the whole experience warm, fun, and totally stress free.

They are also truly a safe space and incredibly LGBTQ+ friendly, they didn’t even bat an eye. My wife felt genuinely seen, supported, and comfortable every step of the way. And the best part? She found her absolute DREAM dress.

Thank you, Janet and Katie, for making the moment so special for her and for us. Highly recommend.

Perfect dress and shopping experience!

I had already been to 6 other stores, but the experience at Angela's was different. From the start, it was very welcoming and personal. The unique ability to walk the whole salon and choose any dress to try was a welcome change from other appointments. I even was able to try on a dress from a mannequin and that turned out to be the one! From there, scheduling delivery, fittings and dress cleaning/preservations with their partners was easy. My dress was delayed and Angela's was prompt and professional in rectifying the error, getting it to me with plenty of time. Highly recommend the Angela's experience!

From the moment I walked in for my appt, I was greeted and helped out right away. I told the ladies what I was looking for. I wanted something specific and I never felt pressured or felt like they were rushing me. They had a very good selection. It was the very last dress that the associates had put on the rack that I had said “yes” to the dress. Lindsey was my associate and she was great! They made the dress selection process very simple and fun for someone who was looking for something specific! They answered all my questions and made my dream dress come to life. Angela did my alterations and she was fantastic. I also went through Love Story and had my dress cleaned and preserved which was a quick and easy process. The whole process from start to finish with Love Story was seamless!

Unique Expertise

You will not find a better crew of women to help you find your dream dress and be your ultimate hype ladies. They LOVE what they do and it shows in their expertise, care, and genuine excitement for every bride that walks in there.
Most bridal shops can have an idea of what may be possible in alterations or helping you envision some customizing in your dress, but not many actually do the work and know the true extent of possibilities. With Janet at the helm, and her years of experience in costume design and then bridal - anything is possible. She makes sure her team is knowledgable as well so you can rest assured you will know of every possibility and have an answer to any question you may have.
While it may seem like a fairytale when you walk in there, they take your needs and your requests very seriously. My consultant, Meghan, understood exactly the look I was going for, and also knew to bring dresses that may have been slightly outside my qualifications because she knew they could get them there. And that's exactly what happened! I found the perfect gown, and Janet and the team did custom sleeves for me to make it completely my own and fit my vision. They know gowns, they know brides, and they know magic.

The best for your wedding dress!

Both A Love Story Bridal, as well as the alterations studio are amazing. They truly will make you feel special and celebrate you as you pick out your dresses and try them on. Ever since they moved to the Route 4 location, I knew I wanted to go there to try on dresses, and they did not disappoint! Here is one little thing that went the extra mile for me - I had 2 appointments with 2 different bridal stores the day I went to try on dresses. A Love Story Bridal was my first stop and I fell in love with the first dress I tried on. I kept hesitating on saying yes to the dress as I felt obligated to go to the other appointment I had made for that day. I am not one to like to cancel appointments last minute. The wonderful attendant I had that day asked me what my reservations were about saying yes at that moment and having my big celebratory "Yes" moment. When I explained to her my debacle, she put me at ease and told me she would handle calling the store for me and that it was nothing I needed to feel any guilt about. Once I knew this was off my plate, I felt ready to say yes and they popped the champagne and I got to have my big moment! It was this little extra help they gave me that makes me very happy to recommend them to anyone looking for their wedding dress. The alterations studio is also fantastic. I know I gave them quite the project with altering my dress - both because I had lost a significant amount of weight, but also cause the dress itself was complicated and I am short, so there was quite a bit of complex hemming they had to do. The dress came out amazing and fit me perfectly. I would not have trusted anyone else with altering this dress!

The best bridal shop in the area!

rom the moment we walked in, I knew I would find my dress here. Each employee was extremely welcoming, but dress consultant was the best! Made me feel super calm and let me take my time as this is a huge decision. A few months after I found my dress, my grandmother became very ill, I called Angela's to see if I could put the sample gown on again in front of her. They immediately said yes absolutely, and allowed me to come in that weekend with her. They did not rush us and allowed for such a special moment and memory I will cherish forever! It didn't stop just here, each fitting with Angela and her staff was fantastic, again just made me feel very calm during a stressful time! Super hardworking and amazing at what they do!
You will have no regrest if you were to buy your wedding dress here, the best in the area!!

Must Visit A Love Story!

I had the best experience at Love Story by Angela's Bridal! The entire process, from choosing my dream dress to alterations and gown preservation, was seamless. The ladies at Love Story were incredible in helping me find the perfect dress. I really appreciated that my family and I could pick out dresses for me to try on. Then, the stylist I worked with selected dresses based on the feedback I gave her. I never would have tried on my dress if it weren't for my stylist. Great experience from start to finish!

I absolutely loved my experience at Love Story. It was the first and only place I went to try on wedding dresses. We were doing a planned elopement outside in a Glacier National Park but I still wanted a formal
wedding dress and I thought I had a general idea of what I wanted but ended up having no idea what I wanted. ☺️ My top 3 dresses could not have been more different and the staff helped walk me through the pros and cons of each of them without pressuring me one way or another. It’s a small shop so you don’t feel overwhelmed but they have a great variety of dresses and also do designer trunk shows quite often. It’s also a seamless transition if you use their alterations studio (which I recommend). Everyone was friendly and helpful from start to finish and I’ve already recommended them to multiple friends!

Dream Wedding Dress From The Best Bridal Shope Ever

I had an absolutely wonderful experience last year buying my wedding dress from Love Story by Angela's Bridal from the very first meeting until the day I picked up my dream dress!! Janet and all of the staff were so welcoming and made what could have been an overwhelming experience so much fun! All of the ladies there were so knowledgeable about the many different types of dresses and styles, and they were able to read my emotions while trying on the different dresses, in order to help me find "the one". They were patient and kind and never rushed me (or my Mom). They were there for me and made me feel so special, even though I know they do this all the time with so many other brides lol. The dress itself was the most gorgeous dress I had ever seen and it was so ME! I would buy the same dress over and over again and I am so happy that I chose this one as my final bridal shop. The dress and the bridal shop couldn't have been more perfect. I highly recommend. Thank you Love Story Angela's Bridal!

My dream dress

My experience at A Love Story was BEYOND amazing! From the first time I stepped first in the shop the girls were so warm and welcoming. I tried my dress on and immediately knew it was it and they still let me try on more to make sure it was right. They then stored the dress (as it was the sample I purchased) until June! When they had a trunk show for accessories they let me come in and try my dress on again. The dress was so perfect and I’m still so so in love with it. I can’t thank the A Love Story team enough for making my dreams come true

Perfection

I had the honor of working with Angela’s Bridal and their alterations studio for my wedding day. From the first day I walked in to the last day I walked out, I felt like the most special bride there ever was. The experience was above and beyond. I had the pleasure of working with Megan and Katie on my first visit. As this was truly the first time I ever tried on a wedding dress, I had no idea what dress shape or style would look good on me or what my style was (I usually have a very hard time with clothing decisions so I was already anxious about finding a dress that I felt amazing in). After trying on a handful of dresses, Megan told me she was going to pull one last dress for me that she though (based on my likes/dislikes/shape/style) I would love. When I walked out of the fitting room, my mother and mother in law audibly gasped and I walked out of my first wedding dress appointment with my dream dress. I had such a positive experience with Angela’s that I honestly went back and bought a reception dress and cathedral length veil from them too (and the prices are more than reasonable), again working with Megan and Katie. I signed up to have both dresses altered with their alterations studio and they absolutely nailed my fittings! They even added second straps to my reception dress to make it fit more comfortably and snug. Angelas has a nice edge to their styles, but also can tend to the classic bride as well. I would suggest any bride to go to Angela’s and try it out!

Worked in a short time frame.

I gave Janet and her team, what I thought was an impossible task and they blew my expectations out of the water. I had less than 6 weeks to find a dress and have it altered. Throughout the whole experience you feel special, as you are the only bride the shop/alterations studio during your scheduled time. Nicole helped me find the perfect sample dress that not only fit the venue and the season but most importantly I felt amazing in. What’s special about A Love Story / Angela’s Bridal is that they have their own alterations studio that perfected the two piece Lis Simon combo I chose, flawlessly sewing it into the perfect gown that fit like a glove. I can’t say enough about Janet and her team. Truly wonderful people that make your wedding gown experience extra special.

Thank you Angela's Bridal!

Before going to Angela's bridal, I had tried on about a dozen wedding dresses at a different store. I wasn't thrilled with any of them-- they were too bulky, had too much tulle, or were too heavy. I had a summer wedding so I knew I wanted something light and flowy. When I got to Angelas, they were so kind and accommodating. Katie helped me try on a few dresses and was my hype-girl the whole appointment (which was great because my bridesmaids couldn't be with me). She found me my dream dress- Lis Simon's, Lisbon dress. I knew it was right the second I tried it on. I felt like a fairy goddess! They also helped me pick a veil that matched PERFECTLY with the dress. The staff was always so nice when I went for my try on and to pick up my dress/veil. The price was also right in our budget too, which was amazing. Everyone kept asking me where I found my dress, and they couldn't believe I got my dress in Troy, NY and not Manhattan! I loved my dress and I am so thankful for Angela's Bridal and their amazing selection and warm, kind staff.

Angela's was amazing! I picked a dress out after a long day of trying on dresses and when I came back to get fitted, Janet KNEW I wasn't 100% happy with what I picked the first time. At my second appointment she asked how I was feeling, saw my hesitation, and whipped out the most stunning dress for me to try on, which I immediately bought. Her eye for what people like, don't like, and feel comfortable in is perfect and I could not be happier with my experience. I would have married my husband in a potato sack but the confidence and joy I felt in this dress was unprecedented and unforgettable. 🤍

Nicole is amazing

I came in there a few weeks ago with my mother and youngest son to try on dresses. I had already went to another bridal shop and had a horrible experience. No need to look anywhere else for a dress!

Shopping for my wedding dress at Angela’s was an amazingly stress free experience! Walking into the store, I felt immediately comfortable and at home. Amazing, worry free experience

Angela’s bridal is truly amazing! The minute I tried on my first dress, I knew that was the dress. The woman who worked with me immediately buckled every dress back so I never saw what the dress wasn’t supposed to look like. She made sure I was getting exactly what I wanted and not what the people I brought with me wanted.

I also got my dress fitted with Angela’s bridal. That experience was absolutely amazing as well. Everything went so perfectly. I couldn’t have chosen a better place to get my dress.

Gorgeous store and selection, amazing staff

I found a one-of-a-kind Pronovias wedding dress at Angela's Bridal, at a floor sample sale! From that second I had a fantastic experience. The stylists are outstanding, fun and very knowledgable, the alterations team is the best, the owner is a wonderful woman with a beautiful vision. Amazing experience

A Love Story was fantastic to work with! A Love Story came highly recommended to me by a few friends who have gone there to get their dresses and they were right. A Love Story was accommodating and helpful when trying on bridal gowns. The shop is small so it feels like a private experience. Absolutely Amazing Wedding Dress Shop

This small boutique is absolutely adorable and full of beautiful and most importantly AFFORDABLE gowns. I love the one on one experience this shop offers. It is nice that your family and bridesmaids/friends and the bride really get special attention which is necessary in order to be able to find the dress of your dreams! Meghan took amazing care of me! She was so incredibly helpful and patient! Just as an example, at one point, Meghan helped me switch back and forth between two different dresses at least three times until I was finally able to decide on my dress. I love that they waited to put the vail on until it was down to two dresses that helped me decide. Meghan really listened to what I wanted – she selected dresses that complimented my body type and personality. She offered advice and made suggestions that helped me to think deeply about my wedding and what I wanted. Additionally, when waiting for the dress to be delivered I contacted Meghan and she worked hard to determine when the dress was going to be delivered. I do wish that they did alterations in store but, they did offer names of seamstresses in the area. I am very grateful that I came across this beautiful boutique and highly recommend this shop to all brides I come in talk to!

Angela's Bridal is AMAZING

I had such an amazing experience at Angela's. Prior to visiting Angela's, I had gone to 2 other shops in the area, and found dresses i "liked". But i knew i was holding out for my Angela's appointment. As soon as i walked into the doors, I was immediately blown away by how GORGEOUS the store is! I was greeted by Nora and i swear she chatted with me like we had been friends forever! She was so patient and honest with me. I seriously think she would have let me try on every dress in the store - if that's what i wanted! She helped me into each dress so my mom and sister could just sit back for the fashion show.

Picking the dress was easy - it was the first one i tried on and i couldn't stop thinking about it. After trying all the dresses i put in the dressing room, all i wanted to do was put that first one back on again. After saying yes, Nora popped the Champagne, and we celebrated! I left that day feeling loved and so happy with my decision. Every fitting after that was great. there's really something special about how the owner of the shop meets with every bride to do their alterations. At my last fitting, I tried on the dress and it fit like a glove. However, There was one minor thing (that was hardly noticeable), but the ladies would not let me leave unless the dress was perfect. They spent the day fixing it just so i could pick it up later that night.

Shopping here was the best decision i made and i truly believe every bride NEEDS to experience Angela's.

The best bridal salon in Albany!

My journey with Angela's was a bit different than most brides, but my experience was nothing short of perfect. My wedding was in early October this year and I had purchased a dress in October of the previous year. I did the whole New York City thing, tried on several dresses and found what I thought was "the one" on my first outing. When the dress came in, it was the wrong color, and the lace on it just didn't look as I had remembered when I ordered it. By the time I got to my alterations, I was convincing myself that I liked it. I kept thinking that each appointment would make me like it more but it just didn't. So, finally, 6 weeks before my wedding, I went to Angela's on a whim. I was so upset, but the team at Angela's made me feel so much better. I found a dress that was EXACTLY what I was looking for and bought it right on the spot -- I didn't even have an appointment and they fit me right in to accommodate my situation. They even rushed my alterations appointments so it would be ready for my big day. And ready it was! My dress was beyond beautiful. I felt how I always thought I would feel putting on my dress and it's all because of the Angela's staff. I would HIGHLY recommend this shop. They are friendly, helpful and I'm proof positive that they have seen it all :).

I am seriously sad that now that I'm married, I won't be visiting Angela's like I had! I can't say enough good things about Angela's. The interior of the store is breathtaking and looks exactly like a bridal gown shop should. The entire staff is so friendly, warm, and helpful, and the girls made sure my dress fit me like a glove. They were able to make adjustments to my dress I had no idea were even possible so it fit exactly right. My bridesmaids got their dresses there as well, and they also had wonderful experiences. My one girlfriend was even able to be accommodated as she wound up being 7 months pregnant for my wedding! Even if you don't find your dream dress there (but you probably will!), you NEED to go see what this place is all about.

When I started dress shopping, I had gone to 3 or 4 different shops - some local boutiques, and of course David's Bridal. There were dresses that were okay and could've worked fine. They all had attendants that helped me get into and out of dresses, and all had offered suggestions, but nothing like A Love Story Bridal. Even before I had gotten engaged, I knew that I wanted to go dress shopping here. Every time I looked through the window, there was always something there! Since it's a smaller shop, you always had personal attention and didn't have to worry about another bride to be in the shop with you also shopping for a dress.

It was intimate, personal, and they had a great selection of gowns. I stepped into the dress that I ultimately went with, and loved it, but wanted to be sure before I dropped all that money on it, and was able to go back again several weeks later to get it! They were so accommodating and were not at all pushy. They gave suggestions and were just a joy to shop with!

This was the first shop I went to and (after going to 3-4 others) I found myself back here to get my dream dress! The staff is wonderful and very helpful. They gave me different ideas and never made me feel rushed or pressured. I love how they only do one appointment in the shop at a time, it felt really personal and not overwhelming. Their selection is beautiful and their pricing is very fair. It was easy to communicate with them from start to end. So happy I went with this adorable shop and friendly staff!

This boutique is small and carries a lot of sample but they have the best taste. There were multiple dresses that I LOVED. They let me try on everything I wanted and were super helpful and attentive with getting dressed and clipping the dress to the correct size. Highly recommended!

Angela’s Bridal is amazing! I met with Nora when I first went and she was extremely helpful and knew exactly what to grab based on what I was looking for. I obviously ultimately found my dress there, and ended up getting my alterations there as well. Each visit, Nora would pop in to say hi and make sure everything was exactly how I wanted it to be. A big THANK YOU to the wonderful ladies at Angela's Bridal! I couldn't imagine getting my dress anywhere else. I went to try dresses with them because they carried the designer I liked and because a friend got her dress there and I remembered what a great experience it was! It was so fun trying on dresses with Norah (who is the best - super friendly & excited all the time!) at my only dress appointment - I found my dream dress in my first visit! I got a custom dress - a combination of 2 I tried on and liked the top of one, and the bottom of the other. So they made it easy for me and just put them together! It came out perfect and I did not want to ever take it off. Overall, it was a perfect and stress-free experience and I would recommend Angela's as THE place to get a wedding dress!

In addition to carrying beautiful and new styles, Angela's is full of the most helpful and heartfelt ladies in the Capital Region. This was my third time in the store (my sister's both purchased their dresses from Angela's) and everything was absolutely perfect. Angela's Bridal is the best store for one of a kind dresses and a personal bridal experience. After trying on several dresses that I had selected and giving feedback on each one, Nora said she had one more dress for me to try on. It was a dress that I would have never picked out myself but it ended up being the one. Schuyler and Rosa are both professional and friendly, and provide the best customer service through out the whole experience. After several dress fittings, I still was unsure of the fit at the top of my dress. A little over a week before the wedding, the owner had the seamstress sew in a corset to add shape to the dress. When I went to pick up the dress and have a final fitting I noticed the top still didn't look quite right. Nora stayed with me for three hours helping to make last minute adjustments. It ended up looking perfect and I can't thank her enough!

From the day I walked into Angela's with my 12 closest friends, cousins and aunts, and they didn't even flinch, I knew this was a special place. The store is stunning and the gowns are beautiful! They truly made me feel like a princess from start to finish. Nora helped me try on dress after dress until I found the ONE! She was also there every time I went back for fittings and for my final try on the day I picked it up. Skylar patiently answered all of mine and my mom's questions during many calls to the shop in the weeks before the wedding. After my final fitting my dress fit perfectly, and on the day of my wedding I looked and felt amazing!

I could not be happier with my experience working with Angela's, from the day I made the appointment to try on dresses to the day I picked up my wedding dress. I made appointments to try on dresses at two salons and I am so glad my appointment at Angela's was first--it was the only one I needed. They made the appointment feel special, as if you were the only bride in the world. They started by asking what I was looking for and told me and the rest of the girls with me to take a look through all the dresses and pick out the ones we liked best. As it turns out, what I thought I wanted wasn't working at all, and a style I never imagined myself in was ultimately my perfect dress. This is completely to the credit of the consultant, who listened so carefully to what I was looking for and what I loved and hated about each dress I tried on. I am so glad she pulled the dress that she did, because I would have never thought to pick it out myself! I never felt pressured at all through the appointment and she helped keep me calm as I tried on dress after dress. Once it came time for fittings, the salon was very proactive in setting appointments and making sure there was plenty of time for adjustments. Throughout multiple fittings, the staff listened to all of my feedback and were very responsive in making the necessary changes. For my very last fitting (two days before the wedding) the dress didn't fit quite right at the top, but in less than an hour the dress had been altered and fit perfectly. They were happy to make the changes and completely calm throughout the process, which helped me stay calm and not stress out about anything. I am thrilled with my entire experience and am so glad I chose Angela's.

I want to start out by saying that we did not get any of our dresses here, but I really wish we had! Two of my girls got their bridesmaid dresses at another (disastrous) bridal salon and up to a week and a half before the wedding had not had their dresses come in. I ended up seeing reviews and news articles about this other salon and about their dishonest practices, and in a panic I began calling other bridal salons in the area to see if we could get any of the dresses off the rack. Skylar answered the phone and was SO helpful in giving me information about steps to take next, and she was BEYOND helpful in going out of her way to try to help us out. Thankfully our dresses came in at the other place a week before and we didn't need to scramble, but Skylar called and followed up to make sure we were set. This place has the most AMAZING customer service! Thank you Skylar!

I loved my experience with Angela's from start to finish. I found my gown the first time I went in and it seemed so simple from that point on. The Team at Angela's Bridal was incredibly fantastic and professional! Yes yes yes! I came to Angela's Bridal with only two weeks until my wedding (long story...) and they were unbelievably receptive, helpful and up to the challenge. We found a beautiful dress I could buy off the rack (they have the most ridiculously beautiful dresses of all the stores I checked) and their AMAZING in-house seamstress altered it to perfection within 10days. Seriously... The level of enthusiasm, kindness, and professionalism blew me away. I can't even imagine how wonderful it would be to work with them when there is time to spare... highly, highly reccommend.

I live in NYC and always assumed I'd get my dress here...however, I went dress shopping with my mom in Albany just to get an idea and fell in love with a dress at Angela's. First off, the store is very unassuming! I lived in Albany for 20 years and never knew such a gorgeous establishment was right downtown. When we walked in, I saw a dress hanging on a mannequin and just like that, my wedding dress dream became a reality. The dress was a bit out of my budget, but the staff worked with me and since the dress was part of a trunk show and I could buy the dress off the rack, they were able to offer me a discount. I purchased a Pronovias lace dress and it is still to this day the most gorgeous dress I've ever tried on. When I "said yes to the dress," we had a champagne toast and I was so giddy. The staff is so sweet and helpful during each visit. I was lucky that I didn't need to many alterations apart from the length - but that was a feat in itself, since the whole bottom was lace. However, the seamstress (who is the cutest thing ever), made it look like the dress was made for me! The staff also helped my mom learn how to bustle the dress and gave me a little care package with double-stick tape and pins, just in case (I never did need them, thank goodness!). On my final fitting, I felt like a princess and I couldn't wait for my husband to see me on our wedding day! If you're looking to get married anywhere in upstate New York and have a pretty good budget for your dress, I highly recommend you check out Angela's.

The second you walk into the building, you are taken back by the beautiful marble walls, the stunning (and well displayed) dresses, as well as the smiling staff that feels like family! They truly make you feel on cloud nine, the way every bride should feel! Many of the samples were of an average size, allowing those of all sizes try it on without feeling self conscious and without losing the integrity of the dress. In addition to purchasing my beautiful Sottero & Midgley dress there, my bridesmaids bought their Bill Levkoff gowns there as well. From start to finish, Angela's worked with me on whatever I needed, whether it was a last minute alteration or to accommodate out of town bridesmaids. The staff are amazing and very personable! Second, I was given the one-on-one attention I needed while selecting a dress - their boutique is GORGEOUS and I had a big, private dressing area to try on dresses and show my mom & MOH. Angela's Bridal is by far the best Bridal shop around. Their service level is unmatched. Michelle who helped me find my dress, knows so much about the industry as well as wedding gowns she truly is amazing at her job. Before I even stepped into the shop she got the details of what I dreamed of looking like on my wedding day and knew the dress that was going to be perfect for me. She gave me some other options as well but she knows what dresses are perfect for the right girls and that just comes from her experience. Once my dress came in Janet, the owner, helped with my alterations. I wanted the straps taken off, a belt put on among a couple of other little changes to make my dress even more perfect and she made it happen. They charge a flat fee for their alterations and to me its completely worth it. Their's no worrying about how much something is going to cost if you want to change something on your dress. Every girl is different so to be able to basically customize your dress to exactly fit you is so worth it. I had the best experience working with Angela's Bridal and would highly recommend anyone who wants to find their dream wedding dress to go their.

Angela's Bridal was amazing! I had been to a few places in NYC and Angela's Bridal was a better experience than any place else.

I went to Angela's and tried on a Pronovias gown, and absolutely fell in love with it. It was the second dress I tried on, and I knew it was perfect because I didn't want to take it off! There was a Pronovias trunk show later in the month, and just by mentioning it, Angela's honored the trunk show price for me. I had been to the Pronovias flagship store in NYC, and my experience at Angela's was far better. Erin helped me at the first appointment, and she was wonderful.

I wore my aunt's veil for my wedding day, and I brought it to Angela's to see if it would work with the dress. It was on a pillbox cap and I wanted it put on a comb. Angela's offered to put it on the comb for me (and included it in my alterations!).

When my dress came in, scheduling a fitting was slightly challenging, but when they realized I live out of state, there were more options for appointments. After my first fitting, I wasn't super impressed by the alterations (the length was off, and it was still too big on the sides), but again, Angela's totally impressed me. Erin came in and helped to pin. She promised me it would be perfect. She was right! When I went to pick up my dress, it fit perfectly and my veil was gorgeous.

Thank you, Angela's! I received more compliments than I ever expected. My cousin said it was the most beautiful wedding dress she had every seen!

All I can say is WOW!!!! I was dead-determined NOT to make a final decision on a dress until after my five appointments in Manhattan later this month. The minute I approached Angela's Bridal yesterday, however, I saw what was clearly, without a shadow of a doubt, MY DRESS displayed in the window, waiting for me!

Nora made the trying-on experience a delight with her energy, enthusiasm, professionalism and knowledgeability -- I also appreciated her encouraging me to take photos of myself in the dress in front of the display windows, where the boutique was flooded with natural light, so I could really envision how I would look in the dress on my wedding day.

Needless to say, I am now cancelling my appointments with Kleinfeld's et al after buying the PERFECT lace and tulle Pronovias Tarifa gown (combines vintage, sexy, modern, fun and elegant.. and Nora explained how the dress can be altered so that my killer purple heels will peep out). Moreover, to my shock and relief, the prices at Angela's are VERY reasonable for couture gowns; I'd grabbed the dress without remembering to check the price tag first, and it was less than half of what I feared it would be. Celebrating with my friends/bridesmaids (who had accompanied me on my dress journey, and were all crying tears of joy) with champagne courtesy of Angela's Bridal afterward was the perfect ending to a perfect experience -- and such a classy touch!

This picky, fashion-forward bride-to-be cannot praise Angela's Bridal highly enough. I am chomping at the bit to return for accessories, and counting the days until my first fitting (not surprisingly, I hear amazing things about the alterations department there).

Angela's bridal was extremely professional and created a caring and personal experience for me. Their selection was great. The owner is hands-on and is present and working at all of the fittings. The tailoring charge is a flat fee which helps with budgeting.

Everyone at Angelas was outstanding! I couldn't have been more pleased with how amazing everything turned out!
My bridesmaid dresses came in, in the wrong style then what we had ordered but Angelas took care of it right away and put a rush order on the correct ones. They really made me less stressed knowing they had everything under control. I would recommend them to anyone looking for their wedding dress!

Angela's Bridal is a boutique of superb professionals! I grew up driving by their older shop, and hearing of them for decades. They are an Albany staple. I was so excited that Angela's was the place where I found my wedding gown. Their marble-clad downtown location gives an air of NYC in Albany. Their wide gown selection was exactly what I was looking for. Working with their consultants made life easy. As an out of town bride, they were accommodating to my schedule. It was easy to find my dress here, and it fit like a glove. Supporting this family-owned business in my hometown was one of my best decisions!

Angela's Bridal is the BEST place to go if you are looking for not only the best wedding gown, but also that once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Nora was my bridal consultant, and she was AMAZING! We live in NC but were getting married in NY. I actually found my dress in NC, but wanted that "experience" with my mom and sisters who live in NY. So my mom called around some shops to see if they had the dress I liked in their stock. Angela's Bridal had it. So, we made an appointment and I flew up there. I am SOOOOO happy I did! From the second you walk in, you feel special. The staff is great and welcomed us. Nora already had my dress in one of the dressing rooms, but told my family they could pick out anything they wanted me to try on. She took all the dresses we picked out and helped me put them on one-by-one. We had even brought in champagne and everything! Then, we put my dress on last.

I knew right away that it was "the one". Nora walked us into the front of the store so I could stand in front of their big windows and see what it looked like with the natural light hitting it. She helped us narrow down a veil and everything. After I officially said "yes" to the dress, we had about 30 minutes left in our appointment, so she told us we could hang out in the back by the dressing room and finish our champagne and just enjoy the moment. I really appreciated that! It was honestly the BEST experience!!

Since I was a destination bride, Angela's Bridal worked with my schedule to help schedule my fittings. I didn't need it hemmed so they gave me a great discount on the price of my alterations. Plus, even though months would pass between when I would see them, every time I walked in there everyone remembered me! Every time I went there I felt as special as I did the first time I put my dress on.

Nora was amazing and the whole staff was awesome. I would HIGHLY recommend getting your gown at Angela's Bridal!!

In January of 2015, I attended the Glen Sanders Bridal Show and fell in love with a dress that Angela's Bridal had on display. I knew I had to make an appointment! If I had not asked the price of the dress, I would never have believed that Angela's had a dress in my price range. They had plenty of dresses within my $2,500.00 price range. Angela's Bridal has a great selection of dresses to cover all styles, without being overwhelming. It was one-stop shopping for me. I purchased my dress, earrings and hairpiece flower from Angela's. I worked with Nora during the process and she was wonderful.

The architecture of the building and the ambiance of the salon is amazing! I was able to Face Time my mom in Arizona while I tried on several dresses. It was very important to be able to share the experience with my mom, as well as the family and friends I had with me. I chose the dress I had seen at the Glen Sanders show. It was perfect - better than I could have imagined!

I can't say enough good things about Angela's. l appointments were made in advance and were on time. I would highly recommend Angela's Bridal to all future brides who want to have a wonderful wedding dress shopping experience.

Angela's Bridal made me feel like a Bride! Not only was their facility amazing with the tall ceilings, marble floor and open concept; but their staff was kind and excited to work with you as you shopped for your perfect dress. Their changing areas are personal and private with extravagant mirrors and comfortable seating areas for friends and family to watch you glow as you find THE dress! When it comes time for alterations you can expect that your dress will fit you to the T! I had the wonderful opportunity of working with their infamous seamstress Chella who's perfectionism is obvious and appreciated! She was so sweet and fun to work with. I never imagined my dress to be so perfect. Bridal consultant Nora was on the same wavelength with me the day I picked my dress and gave me all the right tips and reassurances I needed as I "said yes to the dress!" Owner Janet Cooper could almost always be found running around and checking in to make sure everyone was happily taken care of, if she wasn't busy in an appointment/fitting herself.

Trying to find my wedding dress was such a delightful experience, and I owe that all to Angela's Bridal. Prior to going to Angela's Bridal Salon, I only went to one other dress shop (Kleinfeld's), but they didn't have anything nearly as unique and distinguishing as the dresses at Angela's. Aside from the varying styles of dresses, Angela's had dresses in different price ranges. My first day at the salon (I stopped by without an appointment after seeing their ratings online) I was assisted by Precious, and she was so comforting, friendly, polite, knowledgeable, patient, honest, and just wonderful to have assisting me. This is not to take away from all of the lovely ladies at Angela's Bridal whom were all so sweet, friendly, polite, and caring from the first time I walked in, through all of my fittings, and until I picked up my dress. They worked with me in having my dress ordered & altered in time with only 2.5 months to work with, and they were flexible with the final price. Even my alteration process was made to be a very effortless and pleasant process, and in the end my dress fit like a glove. I received a multitude of compliments regarding my dress on my wedding (and even still), and, more importantly, I felt beautiful, comfortable, and confident in my dress. Also, they were always very understanding and flexible during my fittings if I was running late in my drive from CT. I would highly recommend stopping by Angela's Bridal for your wedding dress, they have a great dress selection and a fantastic team of lovely ladies to work with you throughout the entire process.

Angela's Bridal has such a beautiful ambiance! You feel special just being there - part to do with the building itself and dresses, but mostly because of the people. They are very professional and chic, but also extremely warm and welcoming. The woman I worked with, Nora, took the time to talk with me and get a sense of my personality, and then based on a few dresses I picked out to try on, she went into the back and found a dress she thought I would love. She asked me to try hers on first, and after I did, I didn't even have an interest in trying on anything else. I LOVED the dress she picked for me and knew it was the one. Angela's Bridal was great all the way through the process. I had so much fun with my fittings, and their attention to detail with alterations was great! I even had my bridesmaids get their dresses there. I highly recommend Angela's Bridal to any bride starting the fun process of looking for a dress for their special day!

My experience working with Angela's Bridal was fabulous. I had previously looked at 4 other bridal shops looking for the perfect gown. Luckily, Angela's carried a designer, Hayley Paige, who has the most amazing and unique wedding gowns. We were able to find the dress of my dreams. :) From there on, our experience continued to be great. I was also able to find beautiful bridesmaids dresses as well. Once it came time for my alterations, Janet was very accommodating and worked with me to make my dress even more amazing. They did a perfect job with alterations. We added cap sleeves, a full corset back, and extra poof. :) I was even able to find a beautiful belt to be added, which they tacked on to my dress. Overall, my experience with Angela's was just amazing. From the service, to finding to most amazing and unique dress I could ever have imagined. I had the. best. experience with Angela's. The store is just big enough to have a good amount of stock but not too big to overwhelm you and the price point is well varied. I pulled a few dresses that I thought I would like, but none really stood out for me. My stylist (who's name I don't remember, EEK) ran out and pulled the perfect dress for me that incorporated a few different details I liked, it was MY dress! Icing on the (wedding) cake was that after jazzing me up with a beautiful headpiece they gave it to me as a gift! WOW. Alterations went pretty smoothly and the dress turned out perfectly. The bustle was to die for. Everyone was so nice, attentive and organized. What a great experience and a great store. Highly recommend!

I cannot say enough good things about Angela's bridal. Every single person I interacted with was absolutely amazing and made me feel very special and important. I had a fairly simple dress, but probably complicated alterations as I removed the straps from my dress. They had me come in several times to make absolutely sure that everything was perfect on my dress and that I loved every part of it. I never felt like they were nickel and diming me, and they actually came in under budget for like I said was a complicated alteration. I would highly recommend this salon. They may be pricier than say David's, but the atmosphere and the personalized attention that you receive from them is totally worth the extra money.

I cannot truly write in a review have pleased I am with Angela's Bridal. I so appreciate the experience that I had while searching for my dress. I felt as though people there really cared about my satisfaction and wanted me to look my best. They were open, honest, fun, personable and always professional. It seemed to me that the people helping me were devoted to me while I was there and never pushed me outside of my budget or what I liked. I had several people there with me, as well as a three-year-old, and their attention was always on me. When I found "the dress" and came back for my alterations I continued to feel as though they cared about me and my satisfaction. I honestly believe that they worked so hard to make me look and feel beautiful by listening to me, helping me choose the right accessories for my body type and genuinely exhibiting a sense of caring for me. If I could give Angela's Bridal 6 stars I would! This was the first shop I went to and I loved the experience from beginning to end. I had my bridal appointment with Jill and she started by asking me my budget and what types of dresses I liked. She then proceeded to pull dresses that were exactly what I had in mind! You might think that this isn't a big deal, but after visiting 2 other bridal shops after Angela's I came to realize that this is a special talent. Nowhere else did they listen so well to my likes and dislikes and were they actually able to pull dresses that matched my vision. Jill was a treat to work with and made me feel really comfortable. I went shopping for my wedding dress at four other stores and tried on over thirty dresses before I went to Angela's and found my dress. At first I was a little hesitant to shop at Angela's because of the designer names they carry...I simply thought I couldn't afford it. However, when I visited I learned that they have dresses at a variety of price points and they had several options that fit within my budget. The selection at Angela's beats out all the other stores in and around the Capital Region...they have a greater variety (and sizes that I could actually fit into as a street size 10/12) than every other store I visited. Their dresses are just stunning. Nora is amazingly knowledgeable of dress styles and what looks best on each body type. The entire staff is extraordinarily helpful, especially Michelle who went out of her way to help us out in a minor dress emergency! Angela's is the best and I would recommend them to anyone!

We used Angela’s Bridal for my wedding dress, all the bridesmaids dresses, and the flower girl dress and they did an AMAZING JOB!! Janet and Jessica really went above and beyond to make sure everything came out perfect. I had a larger wedding party (9 girls and 1 flower girl) and half of them didn’t live in the area. The ladies at Angela’s did an outstanding job coordinating everyone with their different schedules in their different locations. When it came to my dress, I went there just thinking we would try some wedding dresses on because I had NO IDEA what I wanted. Jessica listed to what I liked and didn’t like about each dress and ended up finding the perfect one that I ended up buying that day! The staff was amazing to work with at Angela's. I bought my wedding gown and bridesmaids dresses from Angela's. The entire process went smoothly and I did not have to worry about anything. One particular thing about Angela's that is great is that you can see the entire inventory on the floor and look through everything yourself, which I loved. I would highly recommend coming here for your wedding dress and bridesmaids dresses, you won't be sorry!

The entire Angela's Bridal staff are so wonderful to work with. Nora is so kind and really knows how to match brides with the perfect dress. She looked at my Pinterest board, asked me a few questions and within minutes found me my perfect dress. Janet made sure my dress fit me perfectly and I felt so comfortable in it the entire night.

Man... I am so glad I decided to even come here.

I had gone to an inexpensive, national chain store and tried on 30 dresses. I picked out one or two that I was "okay with" and were "totally fine". I would have been very happy to wear one of those on my wedding day.

On a whim, I decided to go to Angela's and indulge. My entire view changed at that moment.

Why be "okay" with your dress when you can start crying when you try it on, close your eyes and envision the look on your soon-to-be-husband's face as he sees you for the first time, never have any doubt or regrets whatsoever about your decision?

I am so glad I went to Angela's and I took my time and literally picked my dream dress. People would NOT stop talking about it the entire night. It looked as if I had stepped right out of a 1920s Hollywood movie set.

I couldn't recommend Angela's Bridal more highly. The staff helped me find exactly what I wanted and more! The dresses are really outstanding quality and the styles so varied and beautiful. I had been to NYC to look at dresses in a particular shop and was not too excited by anything. I was delighted to find this gem of a place in Albany, not far from home where the staff gave me top quality service and gave me the magic necessary for this wonderful wedding experience.

Angela's Bridal is top of the notch. They were my second stop for trying on dresses and where I ended up purchasing my gown. Nora immediately took control of my appointment and I'm so glad she did. I was open to trying on any gown, but knew in my mind what I wanted. I literally tried on three dresses and Nora knew what dress to go out and grab for me. When I put the gown on, I couldn't believe how spot on this dress was. It was EXACTLY what I had imagined wearing on my wedding day. The fact that it took trying on THREE dresses to find it still amazes me. I live in Arizona, so once the dress was ordered, I didn't have my first fitting until TWO months before the wedding. My final fitting was two DAYS before the wedding. I stressed over nothing. The alterations lady was hilarious and so sweet and made my dress fit perfectly. Everyone in Angela's is so sweet and they make you feel so appreciated every time you walk in door. The dresses are on the expensive side, but you aren't just paying for the dress, you're also paying for the exceptional service and being able to be confident that your dress will be perfect :)!
