I was really nervous about hiring a photographer, but the minute I spoke to Angela on the phone, I knew we had to hire her. She was amazing from day one, being flexible with our engagement photos (rain delayed us) and the pandemic as we downsized a few times. She's super responsive, friendly and always there. Her photos are simply stunning (they speak for themselves) and she really felt like a family member throughout the whole process. She's really good at taking your vision and bringing it to light with her skills. Hire her. You won't regret it. -

Shout out to my girl!! Your go to girl for stunning wedding photography. She is talented in so many ways. And a heart of gold hard to find. I had Angela as my assistant photographer. Sadly, in the day of my clients wedding my father had a heart attack and was taken straight to the hospital for an emergency surgery. She helped me through this difficult time. And I couldn’t more grateful. To her understanding heart and loving nature. And the shots she grab was amazing.

Amazing work!!!
From the moment we spoke with Angela, we knew we wanted her to be our photographer. She is incredibly friendly and responsive! We recently had our engagement shoot in NYC and she exceeded our expectations. Our pictures came out better than we could’ve imagined and she was such a joy to work with. Angela was a pleasure to work with from start to finish! Her communication was prompt, easy, and professional throughout the entire process. The quality of her work was stunning - the photos are light, clean, and captured all the special moments of our day perfectly.

Her name is perfect for her because she is an absolute ANGEL. We had a pretty low budget, intimate, micro-wedding and photography was the one thing we decided to splurge on; we absolutely wouldn't change a thing. We don't live in Florida so the wedding was our first time meeting face-to-face, which we were a little bit nervous about. Not only are the pictures more than we could have ever imagined (it looks very much not low budget with her skills), but she seamlessly fit in with our family during the wedding. My grandfather is still raving about her 2.5 months later (pics took a little longer than expected, but sooo worth the wait). We will forever be grateful for all the joy, laughs, and beautiful portraits she captured perfectly. We wish we could hire her again and again, for all the things; it might even be worth the plane flight ;). 1000000/10 would recommend to ALL brides. -

I knew from the beginning of my search that i want Angela to document our wedding day. Upon meeting her in person for our engagement shoot, Angela is the sweetest, most accommodating person. She helps us pose and directs us to get the most perfect pictures. I made a mistake of not telling her the wedding date was moved and she helped me worked out the problem. Not to mention her color profile is so dreamy and minimal. Even though it took 4 months to get my full wedding gallery, it was well worth it because she took time to perfect the pictures. I would highly recommend Angela to anyone planning their wedding. -

I am so happy to have found Angela Mallett to capture our very special day. I found her on Instagram, and she has such a beautiful style which was exactly what I was looking for and envisioned for our wedding. I knew from the first phone call with her that I had to hire her. She is so sweet and spent so much time getting to know us and learning our stories. She is very thorough, accommodating, and even helped me finalize my timeline to make all the different events throughout the night fit within the timeframe of the photography coverage.
The pictures came out absolutely spectacular, she captured our beautiful backyard wedding and made it look like a million bucks. We all love how the sneak peak photos came out and cannot wait to get the rest back, as well as the videos. We will cherish these for a lifetime. Thank you so so much Angela!! -

Words cannot describe how incredible my experience was with Angela! Angela and her amazing team were so kind and supportive throughout the entire process. As someone who works in the events industry I’ve worked with many photographers and film crews. Angela is the best, so professional and so sweet. My guests were asking where the photographer was because they never noticed her and her team throughout the wedding. She’s a natural. Even in the most stressful times as we navigated COVID and drunk party guests. The pictures and video came out beautiful and her pricing is well worth it. My sister just used Angela for her wedding, and it was like seeing family again. We’ll be utilizing Angela for all future special events like family and maternity shoots. Thank you again Angela!! -

Instantly feels like you're working with a friend!
Angela is THE sweetest. She feels like your friend the second you talk to her on the phone and even more so when you meet her. She is flexible, easy to work with, and easy to ask help for/ request things in a certain place or certain way. She is also perfectly discreet, totally makes you feel like your special moments are YOURS. I never felt like I had a photographer in my face and the ceremony never felt interrupted with someone in the way or anything of the sort. Although she is perfectly discreet, she is also so perfectly accessible. She also provided us with a 2nd photographer for 1 hour, which was perfect for us (someone else who was professional, discreet, and easy to be around). Truly, she made us look great in our pics and her editing style is natural, light, and airy, magical, perfect. I'd recommend to anyone! -

Angela is a dream to work with. So amazing. From our very first call, I knew I wanted her to photograph our wedding. She is incredibly kind and adaptable and has the best communication, never misses a call or email. My husband and I were not big on doing big flashy portraits and wanted to keep things romantic and candid and Angela executed everything so beautifully. She guides you in a very gentle manner and suggests poses that feel authentic and romantic. We just got back our sneak peak, which was SO fast and all the pictures made all of our family members cry, everything looks so elegant and dreamy, which is what we were looking for in a professional photographer to capture. Her photographs tell a story and the way she captures your day will make you relive the magic of all the special moments. She is an absolute pleasure to work with and is a true professional, we had such fast pace wedding day because we fell behind on time and she was always ready to go when we needed her. She treats you like you’re lifelong friends which for us, was the perfect touch of comfort we needed to feel confident posing for our pictures. Her details shot capture all the beauty of your day and the candid shots make you wish you could go back. We’ve received so many compliments on our pictures so far and our guests have even ask for her information to work with her for their upcoming events. The investment of her work is worth every penny and more because you feel the love and care she has for her work. Once your day is over you want beautiful photographs to remember those lovely moments and Angela could not be better at capturing the energy and essence of your wedding. Amazing photograoher! You will love her
Angela was a dream to work with! She did our engagement and wedding pictures and we hired her team for video as well! She was so sweet and our pictures came out beautifully! She took the time to get to know us and what we wanted ! We will be using her for any event or important milestone in the future! She truly was so caring and patient with our family during our family portraits and it was an outdoor wedding in august! Hiring her for your wedding will be the best decision you make! We had our sneak speak so soon! I’m honestly so happy we went with her and photos were one of my biggest wedding priorities -

I’m so lucky and thankful to have had Angela as part of our journey. First with the engagement pictures and then with the day of our wedding on Jan 5th, 2020 at the Cadillac Hotel in Miami Beach. There are so many qualities we can say to describe her: professionalism, punctuality, attention to detail, great photo technique, creative, caring and a sweet personality.
She blended so well with my guests and there were time when I didn’t realize she was there lol! She was like a photo ninja! We interviewed quite a few photographers and she really stood out. She didn’t utilize the car salesman technique, she just gave us ideas, options and allows us to decide.
I would recommend her to anyone that wants a special moment frozen in time.
Angela is an amazing photographer and human being!

Angela was incredibly nice and easy to work with, both leading up to, and on the wedding day itself.
We were drawn to Angela after seeing how she edited her photos with her own unique, creative sense that avoided being over saturated and seeming too edited, while having excellent composition and tone in the photos.
Throughout our shooting on the wedding day, we were super pleased with her eye for moments, knowing just how to shoot and set up each special shot for us to capture the whole feel of the day from beginning to end.
Overall, my wife and myself were extremely impressed and pleased with Angela and her work; she was extremely kind, prompt, and fun to work with, while providing excellent photos, and we're thrilled to have had the chance to work with her for such an important day.

Amazing Experience!!!!
Clearly, on your big day you want someone that is professional, reliable, and experienced. Angela is all three and more. Communication was wonderful (I had narrowed it down to 6 photographers and Angela was the only one who could hold a conversation over the phone). I never had to worry that the service would be anything less than fantastic based on her portfolio. Day of she called to confirm, showed up on time and needed no oversight (which was fantastic). Handles multiple family members like a pro and even corralled everyone at the end for family photos. Got so many compliments on her. Would recommend hands down. -

It’s been 14 weeks since our wedding, and we still don’t have our pictures, or any idea when we’ll get them, even though the package told us 6 weeks.
When we booked Angela, we were very excited! We found someone who was really nice, priced well, and had a good turnaround time. We booked the 8 hour package with an additional all-day photographer, which came out to $2,800. The package also listed a 4-6 week turnaround time. We had our engagement session, she was super sweet, pictures came out great, no complaints there. When our wedding came around, Angela found out right before that she got the flu, but she made sure that we had two incredible photographers for our wedding, again, no complaints there. A couple weeks after our wedding we had our preview images, fantastic, no complaints there. Here’s where it starts to get dicey. At the 8 week mark, we reached out to Angela telling her how much we loved the previews and can’t wait to see the rest, and asking when she expects to have them complete, as the ad said 6 weeks. At 9 weeks (so a week later) she replied apologizing for the delay, that there are some personal situations, and that our pictures will be a few more weeks. Had she reached out to us to inform us of the delay instead of us having to ask her and hear back after another week had passed, we probably would’ve received the news a little differently. She said there was some personal situations, so we didn’t want to push it - everyone goes through things so we’ll be patient. The concern, of course, is that this email (which is the last we’ve heard from her, 5 weeks ago) said a few more weeks. That really tells us nothing.
Anyway, at 13 weeks, we sent another email asking her when our photos should be done, and we still haven’t received a reply. At this point, we grew concerned and started discussing it with friends. One friend, without telling me, submitted an inquiry on her site to see her availability for his wedding, and to our frustration, she replied the next day with a custom email explaining how she’s free that day and can’t wait to talk to them. How frustrating is it to see that she can reply to potential client but not one that’s already paid in full and waiting for their pictures that are more than double what we were told in time? Then, another friend mentioned their photographer had muted them from her stories when she was taking too long on the pics, so I checked Angela’s page from my IG and from someone else’s, and turns out yes, she does have us muted from her stories!! I can’t believe that, at that point, we had only emailed her the two times?? What is she muting us for? So genuinely, we’re afraid she’s lost our pictures or something because she’s refusing to communicate with us. So after I saw that, I called her and left her a voicemail expressing our worries and asking her to just please call or email us back and let us know she’s still working, at the very least, so our fears can be put to rest. I then sent her an email with the same basic message - also including we were considering involving our attorney because we have no idea what else to do at this point. The next day I called her again, left another voicemail, and still no response.
I didn’t want to post a review because I didn’t want to risk our photos being ruined, because we really are being held hostage at this point, but I don’t know how else to get her to speak to us. If you’re considering booking Angela, I don’t know if our experience is one that anyone else has had, but consider our experience with caution. This has been incredibly frustrating and difficult. Yes we paid a lot of money, but these are also our memories that we paid to preserve - if something happens to them, they’re lost forever, and we can’t get them back. If Angela is able to make it right for us, I’d be more than happy to remove this review, but at this point, I’m out of options. -
