For me, the photographer was the most important vendor. When the day is done- the pictures are what’s left. And Hilda not only takes amazing photos, but she makes the entire experience fun, relaxed. Yet professional, on track, and worth every penny. She works soooo hard to make every moment preserved and perfect. I can’t even say enough about her. I felt HONORED to have her photograph my wedding. Your wedding should be fun- and Hilda was all that and fabulous photos. -

If you are on the fence, we cannot stress this enough.. BOOK HILDA!! Where to even start, Hilda just fell right into our laps and we couldn't be more grateful. She made the whole process a dream, from the initial meeting to see if we were a good fit for each other, to our SuperDawg themed engagement shot, to the wedding day itself she is the absolute best. Her fun and easy going personality is a giant bonus on top of her flawless photography skills. Her and Jaysin put us at ease and made the day so much more fun! It has been over half a year and no one has stopped talking about them. Their creativity is unmatched and they know exactly how to keep everyone comfortable but still capture all the special moments. The beautiful photos really speak volumes of their overflowing talent. We are looking for another excuse to hire Angel Eyes and get more photos taken! Easily the best decision we made for our wedding! Thank you Hilda and Jaysin!! -

I can't say enough about Hilda and Carol. My husband and I used Angel Eyes as our photograher for our wedding in September. From the start Hilda was personable, funny, and an expert in her field. She makes you want to be friends with her, while still maintianing a professional relationship. Not only are Hilda and Carol amazing photograhers but they know everything about weddings from how to cut the cake, bussel the dress-they even handing out beers on the party bus! Together they made me laugh, created special moments between my husband and me for pictures, and were SO creative. Beyond how fun they're are to be with, Hilda's pictures are the most beautiful ones I've ever seen....I'll refer them to everybody! -

I have been following Hilda's blog for the past 10+ years. When I got engaged in 2018 I knew that I had to reach out to her. I am so lucky that I was able to book my dream photographer!!! She is so much more than a photographer. She helped me make decisions, recommend other vendors to me, showed me examples of things I was considering, and eased my anxiety (more than I'd like to admit). She always was honest with me and did not just tell me what I wanted to hear. The fact that she made sure to communicate with me throughout the day to be sure I was happy with the way things were going meant a lot. I really appreciated that. She is the total package! I was so excited to have her on my wedding day and little did I know I would have the dream team when she brought her assistant Carol Lea. The two of them work so well together and they are SO MUCH FUN! Both ladies are so talented, funny, energetic, and professional. My niece even asked if Hilda could come to all of our family parties because she was so much fun!!! Thank you for working your butts off with my timeline full of pictures!!! Both of you will always be my number one recommendation for anyone looking for a photographer! Hilda will not disappoint, and anyone who books her is lucky to have her on their wedding team!!! -

Hilda and Carol are the best photographers you could ask for. Back in 2008, Hilda had taken pictures of my little sister and I at the Chicago Botanical Gardens. I remember telling my mom when we left that one day I would hire Hilda to shoot my wedding some day. Well that day came and Hilda did not disappoint! Hilda and her assistant Carol are the best tag team you could possibly get to photograph your wedding. They are not afraid to be goofy to get a good laugh out of you and go out of their way to get the amazing, perfect shot. Everyone dreads the forced posed family pictures, but they made sure they went as quickly, smoothly, and painlessly as possible. When I got engaged I said the only thing I absolutely wanted was Hilda as my photographer, and I am so glad I did. I cannot wait to see how the pictures turned out! -

Hilda is the absolute best! The first time my now husband and I met her, we knew she was a perfect fit. I knew I wanted someone who took great photos, but other than that I didn't think about anything else. After meeting with Hilda and working with over the past few months, we are beyond grateful that we found her! If you are looking for more than just a point and shoot photographer, look no further. Hilda and her assistant Carol not only took amazing photos, but were like my coordinators for the day. They kept everything on schedule, kept everything flowing, were in contact with the Reverend before the ceremony and stayed in contact with the DJ throughout the night to be sure to catch every important moment. The entire bridal party was smiling all day, they made the group photos a blast. Even when it started snowing, yes snowing on Oct 20th, I was perfectly calm, because I knew they would get the amazing photos inside the venue and they were just so positive and fun, there was no time to be upset. Also if you are looking for boudoir photos Hilda is amazing! I felt so beautiful, powerful, and proud of my body and of course had so much fun! It felt like working with friends that I have known for years and I hope to stay in contact and use them for all of the important moments in our lives! -

All of which either gave the sense that we were not valuable or that they didn't want to work with us because our budget was not $10,000.00. My first meeting with Hilda was low-key and casual. We immediately clicked and I knew she was the one for us! Hilda has a way of making the Bride feel completely relaxed because you know that everything will be taken care of and your pictures will be more than you could ever have imagined. That was worth every cent spent! Hilda's assistant Carol is a doll, so kind, sweet and patient. Truly, I would recommend Hilda & Carol to every single couple I meet about to plan a wedding! It was for sure one of the best decisions we made. -

Jennifer Sent on 10/10/2012I discovered Hilda at Angel Eyes Photography through a friend. She was showing me pictures from a beautiful wedding she attended, and all I kept thinking was, who is the photographer, and how can I get a hold of her?!?
Hilda has the special artistic ability to see beauty in every moment. And, lucky for us, she is able to capture that beauty in a photograph!
When my fiance and I went to meet with Hilda, I immediately noticed how natural and lively her couples looked in her sample books. As I got to know Hilda, I learned that it is her funny and outgoing demeanor that helps to bring this out in her clients. (I can't tell you how many times I saw sample shots where the couples looked like statues. Not the case here.)
I hired Hilda to do a photo shoot prior to the wedding, as well as the wedding day. She came with an assistant and covered the whole event seamlessly. My pictures are a combination of the posed shots that I needed for my mantle, as well as the candid, action shots that are my favorite. Hilda is a master editor (I know that I don't look that good! :) and I received over 900 pictures from my wedding. I am thoroughly satisfied, and I look forward to working with Hilda again for family shots down the road.
