Andy was always very responsive......from our first few phone calls.......to the planning......and all the way to the final preparations. He was extremely corroborative during the entire process and provided excellent input on some of the event details. He arrived and was all set up well ahead of schedule and he brought lots of energy to our reception.

Hire Andy! BEST DJ Ever!

Andy was an absolute pleasure to work with!
To start, he was punctual, communicative, and extremely flexible - which is everything you want when planning your wedding!
But beyond that, he was an amazing MC and was able to effortlessly guide the flow of the reception, speeches, etc., with tact and professionalism.

Andy was very receptive to musical input and was responsive to our likes/dislikes. He put together an awesome and FUN playlist based on our musical preferences, and he nailed it. I still have friends commenting on how fun the music was!

Wedding DJs are involved in one of the most important days of your life - your wedding. Andy really took that seriously and provided top-notch service, was attentive to all the minor details, and made all the last-minute changes we needed.
I could not recommend Andy enough - do yourself a favor and hire him today!

Seamless & Fun Wedding

Look no further for your next DJ! Andy was so amazing to work with from planning, coordinating, brainstorming, and the actual event. He was so responsive and welcomed all our ideas with such positivity. Our wedding flowed so well due to Andy's communication with the crowd and upbeat energy. We had a last minute change to a song with only a few minutes notice and Andy handled it like nothing! So many of our guests commented on how much they loved the DJ during and after the event. Amazing Wedding DJ!

Andy Nation is INCREDIBLE!!! His communication and responsiveness pre-wedding was great and he did an amazing job during the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. I loved that we were able to just give him a few songs for each part of our wedding and he killed it with an entire playlist that totally fit our vibe! He was so communicative throughout the wedding as well and moved everything along so smoothly! 12/10 would recommend him for your next event!

Andy was the best DJ we could have ever asked for our wedding! His services were amazing, but he also is just a really awesome person that was incredibly enjoyable to work with!

His wedding package was a really reasonable price, and beyond worth it! We knew the moment we had our initial meet and greet call with him, we found our wedding DJ. He was so easy to get to know and really made us feel comfortable with the whole process - one my husband and I were not familiar with just yet. He explained everything and was very organized with his thoughts and requirements from us.

Between reserving his services and the wedding day, he checked in with us multiple times to collect information he needed and make sure we were feeling good about the process. We are so thankful for his communication style and always felt like he was on the same page as us.

On our wedding weekend, he came to the rehearsal the night prior and even helped my father-in-law, who was a first-time officiant, find a rhythm for the ceremony and gave him some great pointers for the big day! On the day of our event, he was INCREDIBLE (even more than we expected!). Andy not only made every musical moment perfect, but he checked in on us multiple times throughout the day, even checking if we needed our drinks refilled (I mean come on, that's beyond what we could've asked for and he made us feel so special).

We truly feel like Andy is a one-of-a-kind DJ and just a wonderful person in general. We absolutely plan on calling Andy any time we need DJ services in the future, and we cannot recommend him enough to everyone we know. He deserves all of the awards and accolades for his services. Do yourself a favor and book him ASAP!

Excellent Choice!

Andy was wonderful to work with - very positive energy and knew how to adapt and improvise where needed - perfect characteristics for the entertainment on your wedding day! The wedding planning process can get stressful and frustrating at times. I can say every interaction I had with Andy was uplifting and had me looking forward to the day. I wanted more of a say in the songs we played so I setup playlists in Spotify. He executed them perfectly the day of the wedding, knew my vision, finessed where needed, and MC'd our event flawlessly. Kept everyone entertained and herded cats so the speak so the reception was on schedule. I would absolutely hire Andy again for his services!

Andy was the best!

DJ Andy truly was the best MC and DJ for our wedding this past weekend. He got everyone on their feet and played the songs we requested, with a little twist of his own songs at times. Andy is a fantastic DJ and MC for your wedding. Right away, when we met with Andy, we knew he was going to be a great fit for our wedding and what we envisioned for the reception. Andy is kind, friendly, professional, and responsive. He picked great music for our reception and seamlessly incoporated our music choices for different parts of the ceremony -- we helped set the vision using a very easy-to-use webpage.

When it looked like everyone had two left feet during the cha-cha-slide, Andy even got out on the dance floor to lead everyone in the dance!

When My wife and I got married this past New Year’s Eve and we were doing all the planning on our own. Fantastic DJ

Andy was great as our wedding DJ and a pleasure to work with! He was very communicative right from the beginning and had a very easy format for song selection. He not only DJ’d the music at our reception/dance floor but also set up all the audio for our ceremony, toasts, and helped progress the night along to keep us on schedule. I’ve been to a lot of weddings and oftentimes the DJ is not very engaging or interactive with their guests. Andy was quite the opposite! His friendliness and humor made it easy to work with him and he was very engaged the entire time. I also have to give him a massive thank you for being flexible and adjusting on the fly; we found out morning of the wedding that it would most likely rain mid-reception, so Andy had a backup plan to move his equipment and setup indoors in the event that it did rain. We did end up having to migrate things indoors after the ceremony but it was done so seamlessly that our guests thought it was all part of the original plan! Thank you again Andy for your excellent customer service and helping make our wedding memorable!

Andy is absolutely PHENOMENAL, you will not be disappointed!

TLDR: Hands down, best DJ ever, just pull the plug and book him NOW!

We had picked Five Crowns in CDM as our venue 3 years ago. Five Crowns provided us with a list of approved DJs, so our options were fairly limited. I went down the list and emailed every single DJ. Not only did Andy promptly respond to my email inquiry ON THE SAME DAY, but I could already tell how charismatic he was from our back and forth email conversations!

After reading up on the wedding wire reviews and speaking to brides who had him as their DJ... it was immediately clear what a great fit he would be for us! Meanwhile, another couple contacted Andy asking about the same date, so now we really had to get the ball rolling! We scheduled a quick phone call to discuss and immediately sent over our deposit.

Unfortunately, COVID pushed our original 2020 date by another year. We finally had our long awaited wedding this past weekend and Andy did not disappoint! It was such a pleasure to have worked with him for the past 2.5 years and to see everything come together so smoothly. It was an absolute dream and Andy kept us right on schedule during the evening.

I don't even know where to begin, Andy is the most funniest and genuine person you will ever meet. Not only does he have a passion for the entertainment industry, he sincerely wants to make sure your big day goes according to plan. Ladies and gentlemen, he does it all! He was our "DJ, Master of Ceremonies, Keeper of a smooth flow", and more importantly, became our friend throughout the entire process. We had the dance floor open for 2 hours and he kept the party going the ENTIRE time! He even got out on the dance floor and danced along with us! Andy, thank you so much for going above and beyond. You exceed all our expectations!

DJ Andy Nation

We hired Andy as our DJ for our wedding, and he was the best! From day 1, he was so easy to communicate with and quick to respond. He worked with us when we had to postpone our original date due to covid. As the wedding got closer, he helped us build our timeline for the day and worked with our coordinator to make sure everything was set for the day. He also was super accommodating when we had special requests for him. On the day of the wedding, he made sure to check in with us throughout the event to let us know when things were coming up soon (father/daughter dance, cake cutting, etc). We had a wide variety of ages in attendance, and his song choices were perfect for everyone. All of our guests had so much fun with him! I’m ready to have another event, just so we can book him again!

Stop What You're Doing and Hire Andy!

DJ Andy Nation is hands down one of the best DJs I’ve ever worked with. I attended a wedding where he DJ’d in 2012 and kept his info – that should tell you about Andy’s skills. In working with him for our wedding Andy was very kind and communicative. He was readily available to chat on the phone and was quick in his email responses. He is very well spoken, which is a must for a MC. He has great energy and made great jokes throughout the night to engage our guests. We hired Andy at the last minute to do our ceremony music as well and he showed up on his own time for our rehearsal to make sure he had everything he needed to make our ceremony perfect. The music for our reception was great – unfortunately it was a VERY hot/humid evening which was moved outdoors due to local restrictions on indoor dining so people weren’t too keen to dance a whole lot. Andy picked up on this and adjusted the music accordingly between the times people would dance and then go cool off for a while. Do not hesitate, hire Andy – he’s awesome!

Andy was the perfect addition to our wedding reception! He was professional, friendly, skilled, and fun. Andy performed our daughters wedding on August 24th. He was so amazing. All our guests have commented on what a wonderful DJ we had. Andy, was the DJ - MC at my daughter's wedding reception July 2019. He made the wedding so fun, the music saw great. Andy followed the itinerary and was critical in the flow of the reception. Everyone was dancing the entire night. He was so easy to work with, professional and has high quality equipment.

We absolutely loved DJ Andy Nation! He is extremely responsive and accommodating, and his prices are very competitive! Before the wedding he was willing to talk with me multiple times about song selections and had a great online program where I could enter in all of our wedding details. On the wedding day, he did a really good job keeping us on track with our timeline, but making it super fun at the same time! Best dj ever!

When planning our wedding the thing I wanted most was an amazing DJ, and Andy was beyond amazing! He actually did my sisters wedding about 9 years ago and I remembered how much fun we had dancing and just how entertaining he was! He got everyone dancing and made us all laugh. Andy is awesome! He is just a really nice guy and so easy to work with. From the ceremony music to the cocktail music to dinner and dancing music he made our wedding a night to remember. Besides a few key songs I left it up to Andy to choose the music and he nailed it! Guests were singing in their seats at dinner and he had everyone on the dance floor afterwards. If you’re looking for a DJ, Andy Nation is the guy. If you’re looking for an MC, Andy Nation is the guy. If you need lighting, Andy Nation is the guy. If you need all of that, he is the best! He is the total package that I could not have asked more from on our wedding day! He is as fun and easy to work with as he is diligent and precise with his music. His talent is not only at the DJ booth, but as an MC and Lighting Extraordinaire as well. He got the crowd hyped up to dance and made every moment leading up to that, such as calling people to eat by table number and introducing the first dance, exciting with his energy and enthusiasm. We had an outdoor wedding so he provided stellar illumination for the wedding cake area and highlighted the tree which was the hallmark of our venue. Obviously, my dress and makeup and the beautiful vows were the real show stopper of the wedding, but a close 2nd was DJ Andy Nation! I swear to you - almost every guest had something amazing to say about Andy. He danced with the crowd, encouraged a family friend to sing, and the musical variety was unmatched. There was something for everyone. Frank Sinatra for my east coast family, some country and latin/reggaeton for the husband's side, top 40, and some old school bangers. You would think with a request like that you would alienate some of the crowd, but honestly, my husband has NEVER seen his father dance in his life and DJ Andy Nation got him out there for a few songs! Andy couldn't have made our wedding any better; I was literally on the dance floor all night! Do not miss out. We recently used Andy Nation as an MC and DJ for our daughters wedding. Andy was recommended by a friend so we met with him and knew right away he was the guy!!! He is so fun, professional, and excellent at what he does!! He has great suggestions for music and is very helpful and responsive via phone or email. Our guests said he was the best DJ they had seen at any recent weddings. He is so upbeat and talented!! We used his uplighting as well. His prices are great and so worth it!! I was referred to Andy by a DJ i called that was booked. He called his DJ friends and I found Andy. He was the perfect fit for our celebration of life for my Dad. He was professional and played all of our requests joyfully. My Dad was a forth degree Knights of Columbus and he being a first degree understood the celebration of joy perfectly. Andy Nation is an amazing DJ. Andy has a great commanding voice that led us through our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. Andy was a phenomenal DJ who was very easy to work with. He had a wonderful online system that made song selection and designations for specific wedding events were very easy to work with. He also was highly perceptive and adaptable during the ceremony to pick up on lines from speeches that referenced songs and had them queued up to play in the 1-2 minutes between when the line was said and the speech began. He also was great with multicultural songs as one guest requested a classic Vietnamese wedding song and he had it playing within minutes. Andy himself brought phenomenal energy to get people excited and dancing without being over the top or cheesey. I sincerely cannot recommend him enough.

Andy took great care of my Bride and I. He was extremely responsive throughout the entire process, and worked with the caterer and the rest of the staff to keep the reception moving fluidly. I continued to receive comments throughout the night stating how good Andy was. I gave him my taste in music by putting tracks into his music planning software, and he filled in the blanks with music that the whole reception group loved. Thanks for being so awesome man! Andy was more than just a DJ at our wedding. He became a friend throughout the whole process. How do you begin to put into words how great Andy was?! Not only was Andy professional and attentive to what we wanted/needed, but he helped make our wedding the best night EVER!!! My son got married on Saturday and he and his bride chose Andy from the excellent reviews he had received from previous events. Since they had not seen him in action, we could only hope the decision was a good one. DJ Andy Nation loves his job and it is evident. From the very first meeting to the day of the rehearsal and the wedding, he had such an infectiously positive attitude and was so easy to work with. He was knowledgeable about the venue and could tell from our music choices what type of music to play throughout the ceremony, reception and cocktail hour. My future father in law was unable to attend the wedding due to illness and Andy went above and beyond what he had to do to help us find a streaming service so that my father in law could watch the ceremony live. We were planning our wedding from across the country and Andy was responsive and easy to communicate with. My husband and I got so many compliments on the music and DJ Andy (not just his song selection, but his demeanor and attitude). Incredible DJ for weddings!!! He was our DJ and did everything we asked and much more. He was at every planning event, easy to reach, and so awesome in general. Excellent, Excellent, Excellent is all that I can say about Andy Nation!!! I knew right away from our very first phone calls and emails back and forth that he was going to be an Amazing DJ. Not only is he incredibly personable but he's professional, diligent, and passionate about his work and was a huge part in the success of our reception. Andy Nation really went above and beyond what most DJ's do. I remember at one point feeling incredibly overwhelmed with planning and my Coordinator was needing a timeline from me ASAP. I really had no idea how to go about doing that so I emailed Andy Nation to see if he could help me and the very next day he had emailed me over my complete timeline and all I had to do was hit "forward" to send it to my coordinator. Such a great feeling:) We also had a video that was going to be playing at our reception and the sound equipment and media was very confusing to us at our venue. Andy Nation VOLUNTARILY met us at the venue a few days before to make sure our video worked properly and to see if there's any other equipment he could bring to help if the venue needed it. Not too many DJ's do that-that's for sure. Then on the actual day of our Wedding he was fun, had picked the most awesome songs and made sure our party was a big hit. Hands down you will not be disappointed if you choose to go with Andy Nation. I'm so thrilled that I did!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Andy. From the beginning of wedding planning I was a little apprehensive about the whole music part. I knew from the start what song I wanted to be our first dance song and what the processional song would be other then that I had no idea. My personal taste in music is a little more on the slow and melancholy side, which does not appeal to the masses. We met with Andy a couple times and he put is at ease right away. We went through his catalog and were able to find music for the cocktail hour, the song I walked down the aisle to, and all of the other moments that required music. The music really does set the tone for a party, so for the dancing fun part of the reception we really let Andy do his thing and he did an amazing job. Everyone was out on the dance floor busting a move and dancing the night away. Andy is great at what he does and it is clear that he has a true passion for it. He was an absolute pleasure to work with and if I ever need a DJ in the future Andy is at the top of my list.

DJ Andy Nation is not only phenomenal at what he does, but he's also one of the sweetest people I've worked with. He's a consummate professional, and was able to inject so much energy and liveliness to our wedding! We were nervous about our wedding feeling stuffy since our guestlist was dominated by my husband's older family members, but Andy's enthusiasm and humor was infectious and got our party going! He was also extremely flexible with any changes that occurred throughout the day, and was able to seamlessly work in any special events, announcements, etc. that we had added just days leading up to the wedding. He was even kind enough to attend our rehearsal the night before the wedding to ensure that everything will run smoothly on the day of. DJ Andy made our wedding day experience so enjoyable. We were very pleased with his energetic personality and understanding of family issues relating to the wedding day before even signing a contract with him. The online system is very straight-forward and organized making planning the timeline of events and songs easy and enjoyable. Andy was sociable with all of our guests and quickly responded to all of our questions during the planning process. Andy also took song requests from multiple family members via phone/email since his website is not mandatory to use for song requests.

There were a lot of songs we loved but did not have a specific place for and we loved what he did with them the day of. Everyone at our wedding loved the songs he chose himself. I would recommend this vendor for a small or large wedding.

Andy is the B E S T!!! We hired him to DJ our wedding and could not be happier!! Not only was he professional, prompt, responsive and helpful, he went above and beyond to make sure we were completely comfortable with him and everything we needed him to do for our wedding. During our initial meeting, he met us at our wedding venue in suit and tie (VERY professional) and was warm and easy to get along with and showed true passion for what he does. We needed someone that had a lot of energy, could direct us to providing great dancing music and creating a timeline for the wedding, and Andy provided it!
When we first met Andy we were blown away at how energetic he is. He truly has a passion for life and his work. Andy was able to see our taste in music and suggest songs and artists that made the night a blast. He suggested a different song for my entrance that really made the moment even more special.
Since we did not use a wedding coordinator, we relied on Andy to help us make a timeline for the day. He was amazing at it! Together we made a timeline that was easy to follow and allowed us to get everything done! At one point, we were ahead of schedule.

DJ Andy was amazing! We gave him some of our favorite songs and he immediately knew our taste and played everything we wanted to hear! He read our crowd so perfectly and kept the party going. He also helped to keep us on track during the reception so that our photographer was able to catch all of the important moments. He was extremely flexible when we foud out last minute that we would need to move our ceremony inside due to weather. I felt like picking our DJ was one of our most important decisions to make and I couldn't be happier with Andy Nation. I would recommend him highly! I wish we could do our reception all over again, just to have him play for us!

Andy nation at just imagine entertainment was and is AMAZING!! He was so great and easy to work with and made our wedding so memorable for us and all of our guests. He has an excellent website and the planning services on his website help in the planning process so much!. The program is easy to navigate and very efficient in guiding you through the whole process with choosing songs for the important highlights of your wedding: walking out of the ceremony, walking into the reception, cake cutting, garter toss, etc. The progression of the night was perfect and I never had to stress because Andy facilitated the event flawlessly. I would highly recommend Andy nation to anyone looking for a wedding DJ. He is professional and his passion was completely evident the moment we met him. Andy was one of the vital parts of our wedding that helped to make it absolutely perfect. Our particular ceremony and reception required two different set-ups and Andy did this for us perfectly and happily. Andy listened to all of our requests and made each of them happen on the day of our wedding. We received so many compliments about him and he had all of our guests on the dance floor the whole night!. Thank you so much Andy for making our Special Day even more Spectacular!

Searching for a wedding DJ is not the easiest of tasks. Having a good MC can be the difference between a good wedding and a great wedding. When I met Andy for the first time I knew I had the right guy. I was instantly drawn to Andy’s charismatic, fun and upbeat personality. He was so helpful in the planning stages of my wedding. He offered an extremely user friendly online planning tool which gave the ability to add requested songs at your leisure. He always extended a helping hand by offering song suggestions for the father daughter dance, mother son dance etc. Andy offers amazing package deals and can provide music, sound and up lighting for your ceremony and or reception. His timing on song selections was perfect for whatever the atmosphere was at the time and really encouraged group participation. He got people excited to dance and created an amazing atmosphere. He also always made sure people knew when activities such as the cake cutting and garter toss would be happening. If you are looking for a DJ for your wedding, next big event or birthday I highly recommend using Andy, you won’t be disappointed at all!

Andy was easy to work with and his online planning tools were really helpful in planning the reception. We were very clear about what music we did/did not want at the reception and he did exactly what we asked! He was very fun and energetic during the reception and our guests loved the atmosphere! Andy did everything to make our wedding reception so much fun!!! Our guests told us they had a wonderful time and how much they loved the music selection. Andy Nation is the best. If you are looking for a fun, energetic, awesome DJ, he is your man. I really can't speak more highly of Andy... he is THAT good!!

My husband and I were passionate about finding a top notch DJ and since all of my friends LOVE to dance, we knew we had to find the right one. Andy is so incredibly nice and after meeting him for the first time, we knew he was our DJ. He listened to us and really got our vision for our wedding. Our friends and family were on the dance floor the entire night and he played the best music!

Andy is so awesome! Tosh and I were at a loss for what music to play at our wedding, since our own music tastes would probably just give our guests a headache (and not about to walk into the reception to Avenged Sevenfold). We only managed to meet with him once before the event, and after we decided to hire him we decided on a set list via email and conference calls. Even the best man, who is also a DJ, gave props to how Andy MC'd/DJ'd the entire night. His positive energy & open personality got EVERYONE out on the dance floor - guests were mingling outside their cliques/groups and dancing with anyone/everyone. Everyone was having such a good time, it was literally our dream wedding's dance floor. Andy provided more than we could ask for :)

P.S. We were told to say Yes to the "Venice Dance" - which we didn't know what it was exactly until the night of. But yes, SAY YES ;) No one was left in their seats throughout the whole thing

I’m not sure where to begin in reviewing all the WONDERFUL comments we have about Andy as the DJ at our wedding. First of all, his enthusiasm and his passion for his work was apparent from the first second we met him right through to the the last hug at the end of the wedding night. Andy LOVES what he does, and that’s what made us LOVE him! His passion makes him THE BEST!!!
Because of Andy we would had a PACKED dance floor for 3 straight hours --literally bumping into people for 3 hours. (We had people we didn’t know danced out on the floor all night!) Andy played the perfect selection of songs and would continuously pump up the crowd with pleaser after pleaser. A month out from our wedding we are still hearing how much fun our DJ was – everyone has been raving about him. After our traditional “first dance, Father-daughter, and mother-son” we kicked off with Andy’s Venice Dance- it got everyone out on the floor, we laughed, we swam, and we twisted. It was a blast!
My husband loves Irish music, so Andy even intertwined some of his favorite songs into the night at different moments and made it completely personal to the two of us. We loved this.
From the moment we met Andy, we knew that he would make our wedding the best party of our lives, and he did that PLUS SOME. Andy even brought happy tears to my eyes three weeks after our wedding with his memories of the night… ANDY is not only the BEST DJ we have seen in OC, he also has one of the BIGGEST HEARTS - an amazing person with an amazing talent.
Andy, thank you for putting your heart and soul into our special night – we are forever grateful!

Andy Nation was the best choice out of all the dj's I met. i interviewed 4 before him and the first time we met, i knew he was the one! He's extremely personable and responded to all my emails during our planning process. He's professional, knows how to command the crowd to interact, is flexible, and does such an excellent job! My fiancé had never met him prior to the wedding but had met all the others and was skeptical at first with my decision but after the wedding, he AND my extremely hard to please mom-in-law were truly impressed! He also provided uplighting for the venue which really made everything stand out. In a nutshell, you won't go wrong with Andy. Book him!!!

Andy Nation is the most awesome of DJ's !!! We just had our daughter's wedding this past Saturday. Andy was our DJ and I could not have asked for anyone better!! He is so amazing! He is the perfect MC and keeps things rolling right on cue. He is so much fun and his personality is infectious! He really gets the crowd going and knows exactly what to say and do. He followed my daughter's request s to a tee! He helped make her special day so much fun for her, her new husband and for all of us at the wedding! We are so grateful that Andy was our DJ. He was so helpful through out the whole process and made everything so simple. I knew I didn't have to worry and that he would take care of everything. Andy was so awesome. I hired him after getting referred to by a friend and what a great decision that was. He was a little more expensive than we were originally planning on spending for a DJ, but he worked with us on the price and ultimately was worth every penny. Andy was great! It's not easy to plan a wedding from across the country, but Andy made it as easy as possible through Skyping and phone calls. He made sure the night was seamless, and put together a great playlist with all of my guests' requests.

I was worried about which songs to choose for cake cutting, entrances, etc. and Andy assured me to leave the choices to him if I didn't have any ideas--I'm glad I did! He looks at your play list and takes your personality into account to choose songs he knows you will love--I never expected to have such an intuitive DJ!

His price is also very reasonable for what you get. When he saw that our reception was fairly straight forward and not complicated he actually offered to give us money back--this is UNHEARD of in the wedding industry!

I wholeheartedly recommend Andy's services to anyone who wants a stress-free day with a DJ that knows his stuff.

Andy from Just Imagine Entertainment was simply AMAZING!!! I (and every guest at my wedding) definitely recommend him if you need a DJ for anything at all. My husband and I unexpectedly moved from CA to FL in the middle of our wedding planning so I was referred to Andy by my wedding planner. She actually had him DJ her wedding as well. I only spoke with him on the phone a few times before actually meeting him on my wedding day, but from our first phone conversation I felt completely confident working with him.

In the months leading up to our wedding day, Andy was always prompt to respond to my phone calls and emails. His wedding planning website made everything so easy for us. It saves all of your song requests, your day of timeline, special dances, special requests, basically everything all in one place, which was great.

Where Andy really impressed us was in person on our actual wedding day. He made sure ahead of time that he had the sound system and microphones set up for our officiant and our ceremony/cocktail hour musician. This was no easy task as our ceremony was on an outdoor terrace, cocktail hour was both on the terrace and inside, our announcement and dinner were in a separate outdoor courtyard, and dancing was back inside. Every transition was perfect and we were never without music. Andy was also very honest with me when we discussed different lighting options and he let me know that the lighting at the venue was actually very beautiful on its own rather than trying to upsell his special uplighting.

The best thing about Andy was his fun personality and talent as a DJ. The first time I spoke with him I told him that my Mom was literally having anxiety about dancing at the wedding months ahead of time. Somehow he got every person dancing and my Mom was dancing most of the night. Amazing. He was such a blast and so personable with our guests. He did so much more than I ever expected from a DJ. I want to do it all over again!!

Andy Nation definitely brought his A game. We loved his energy and enthusiasm. As soon as we met him, we knew we found the right DJ. We had so many guests approach us and specifically tell us that our emcee/DJ was so much fun. I just personally loved his positive spirit. He had our crowd going throughout the night. He even got "non-dancers" on the floor having a great time. The best part was seeing my parents and relatives dancing and laughing and just enjoying the entire evening. Everything flowed perfectly, and we couldn't have been any happier. We still can't stop talking about how PERFECT the wedding was...and a great DJ is a huge factor. Let me just say, that you need to look no further for the world's awesomest (yes this is a real word for me at this moment) wedding DJ. DJ Andy Nation was a referral to us from really good friends who happen to see him at another friend's wedding. At our engagement party, they gave us his card, and literally told us that if we did not give him a call, we would miss out on the greatest DJ ever. So of course we called, (DUH!), and OMG am I seriously glad we did! He was super personable from the get-go. I was sold after just 5 mins of us chatting with him. Personality plus, and he obviously loves doing his DJ gigs. He is a natural on the mic, always smiling, and has a fabulously huge music library. (Annnnnnd let me just tell you... say yes to the Venice Dance. You'll know what I'm talking about after you meet him, but seriously, SAY YES! You will love it!). What can I say!?! There truly aren't enough positive adjectives to describe how great Andy Nation is!!! He truly made our wedding day the most amazing one it could be. From the song selections that he chose, to the ability to find songs that I had requested(some, not very common or easy to find), he delivered the wide range of music that you want for the different parts of the ceremony. From the first dance, to the last, he knew exactly what songs to play by reading the guests energy and got our guests on that dancefloor! But what really made him the perfect wedding DJ, was his ability to keep everything running smoothly, and not just from the start of the wedding, but from my first official contact with him. I was able to communicate with Andy through e-mail and through his timeline website, which made planning one of the most stressful parts of a wedding, a piece of wedding cake (sorry, I had to.) If you are looking for a friendly, personable, and professional DJ that can get people on the dance floor, emcee with charisma, while keeping you informed of your own timeline (which, believe me, is the last thing you want to think about on the most special day of your life) then look no further! I am so happy to have found Andy Nation, because I know that when we use him for any other events in our future, he will make it just as fun and memorable as our wedding day was.

Andy Nation, of Just Imagine Entertainment, was the best DJ we had ever seen at any wedding/party/corporate event/etc. Every guest that we have talked to since our wedding has had positive comments about Andy.

He was professional, punctual, and responsive throughout the entire process. We were able to bounce ideas off of each other, and he was always open to trying new things. He consistently went the extra mile, like taking time out of his busy schedule to show up at our rehearsal to meet the wedding party. My wife and I thought the price for his services was very fair when we booked him. After seeing the impact he had on our wedding, we know that we received excellent value for the price.

During the event, he was funny, charismatic, and friendly. He controlled the room and set a great atmosphere for all our guests. Andy was the best vendor we had, and we highly recommend him to anyone out there looking to have a great event.
