BEST DJ - hire Andy!!!

AMAZING!! Andy is the best! He DJ’ed my brother and sister in laws wedding back in 2015, and when I heard him and saw him do his work, I knew I needed him someday for my wedding! Andy listened to my husband and I’s requests and made the perfect playlist based on our preferences. Andy is very friendly and personable! He had the dance floor packed ALL night long! Andy’s assistant, Mandy, is also the best and so fun! Both were absolutely great to work with. HIGHLY recommend!!! :)

The Absolute BEST DJ!!

You will NOT regret hiring Andy! When we asked Andy to DJ our wedding, he said yes without any hesitation. He traveled from Pittsburgh to Chicago and could not have been more excited or professional. He communicated seamlessly with our Chicago vendors and transitioned into an unfamiliar environment. Andy kept our guests on the dance floor ALL night, I don't remember seeing the dance floor empty once! He even played a bit pasted our end time because no one wanted the evening to end. He made the night incredible!

Went Above and Beyond!

We absolutely loved having Andy and Mandy at our wedding, not only was the music amazing but they kept us organized while allowing us flexibility when our plans changed during our reception. Mandy was so helpful, she even helped me fix my bustle! people are still talking about how great our dancing was!

AMAZING!!! So good had him stay for extra 1.5 hours!!!

Andy is absolutely amazing!! He had the dance floor PACKED all night, even with self- proclaimed “non-dancers”! He and Amanda kept the party at the highest level and it never dropped. We were supposed to end at 11pm and everyone screamed “No!!” So Andy agree to stay 30 more minutes - 3 TIMES!!! We would not let the man leave and he stayed an extra hour and a half!! (Personally we would have loved him to stay an extra 5 hours but thought we should probably wrap up). If you are looking for not only a DJ but an overall amazing experience for you and your guests- you HAVE to go with Andy!! You will have the best event that people have an absolute blast!!!

Andy is incredible!

Andy is incredible! I am a wedding photographer so I have worked with so many DJ's. But Andy always stood out to me as a DJ who is so professional and loves what he does. And it was such a blessing to get to have him as the DJ for my wedding! He is so talented, flexible, professional, and was a joy to work with from start to finish. The dance floor was full all evening and everyone had so much fun! If you are looking for an amazing DJ, Andy is definitely the best!

Awesome DJ

Andy was so great - my husband and I danced all night long! Andy came highly recommended in the Pittsburgh wedding industry; no fewer than five other vendors recommended him to us and for good reason! Andy's portal for planning your playlist and events was truly impressive, as is Andy himself! Our venue was a long marble hall, but we had no issues with echo and our guests danced the night away.

Andy was great

Andy was great to work with for our wedding. He was really flexible, responsive, super straightforward, and best of all he did a great job playing the music we asked for and filling in the gaps. Wedding planning requires intense attention to detail for almost an endless number of items. Managing all of the details around the music was really fun because Andy made it fun. The online interface he has to manage our playlist was super helpful. He took all of our recommendations and then filled in the gaps appropriately. If you’re a typical millennial looking for a great mix of music from the 1950’s- present day, I recommend you hire Andy Booth. If you want a DJ who can help you develop a fun playlist (of any genera) and who will be exceptionally responsive to your needs - Andy Booth is the man for that. He made our wedding awesome.

Perfect Evening

Deciding to choose Andy was a great decision for our wedding. Our event was a short service with an intimate dinner and dancing. Andy was able to accommodate the space, provide the right music, and help the night run seamlessly. He was easy to work with and willing to answer questions leading up to the event. Awesome DJ!

Andy is a complete joy to work with and I highly recommend him! Planning a wedding is stressful and while other vendors gave me some heartburn, Andy never did. He's very collaborative in the planning process. I chose a play list that spanned many generations since our guests ranged from age 17-92 years old. Our guests tore up the dance floor because no matter what song I picked, Andy knew immediately the next song or two to complement it so people kept dancing. There were two major things that I wanted to happen at my wedding. . .one was good food and the other was for people to dance all night. Luckily, I chose the right DJ for the job and they had to kick us out of the venue before we stopped dancing. Well done, Andy! Thanks for making our special day even better!

Great experience!

Planning my wedding was a bit more difficult for me as I was planning it in a city in which I do not live. Therefore, I mostly relied on recommendations from friends, the internet, and my other vendors in order to piece together my day. I had multiple other vendors recommend Andy as a DJ so I knew I was in good hands. Andy was very flexible and easy to work with considering we never had the chance to meet in person prior to the wedding day. He was open to suggestions from us but also was there to provide guidance when we needed it. Everything on our wedding day went off without a hitch and it couldn't have been better! I would recommend Andy without hesitation to anyone planning their wedding

Andy was great! His online tool for planning was very user-friendly and gave us every opportunity to make sure we were prepared. I was afraid that I'd overlook some minor detail, but it was truly fool-proof! He was available to answer emails and meet in person to discuss our ideas/requests. He was also available to give us some advice when we were unsure of how certain moments of the night would go. Most importantly, he was patient with us when we added last minute changes the week of the wedding (adding uplights which ended up being beautiful, and adding song splices for our bridal party). Very friendly. Very professional. All guests had a blast thanks to his smooth transitions and awesome dance floor environment!

We met Andy 5 years ago when he did my Sister’s wedding. She loved him, we loved him and he’s basically part of the family! We hired Andy as our wedding DJ (July 2017) and we could not have been more pleased!!! He is a true professional in every sense of the word, not to mention wonderfully flexible. Though we live in DC, Andy made it a priority to meet with us during our trips home to Pittsburgh and truly took the time to understand our vision for the evening. I cannot say enough good things about Andy! He is not only a great DJ, but he is just a wonderful person. When you book Andy you don't just get a wedding DJ, you get a friend for life! Seriously, Andy always has prior brides/grooms running up to him at other weddings for pictures and he remembers each and every one of them.

Andy is incredibly responsive to any questions you may have prior to the wedding. As others have said, he gives your event a very classy vibe, but still keeps the dance floor packed. He really takes the time to get a feel for what you have in mind for your event and is responsive to any requests that you may have. Andy also will help you set up a reception timeline and keep you on schedule for the evening, which is great, especially for brides that don't use wedding coordinators. I could say more, but really, just book him. You won't regret it!

Andy did an amazing job. Exactly what I was wanting. Not hokey or a club DJ :) Andy was very responsive to our emails and met with us a few times to go over music and go over event set up and lighting. Andy made us feel really at ease and was able to execute what we wanted without us having to be too detailed in our request... i.e. we told him the general feel of what we wanted, plus a few songs we definitely did / did not want, and he delivered. You are in GREAT hands if you book with Andy.

Andy is the simply the best! He was really helpful to us when it came to making suggestions and allowing us to feel heard. He didn't put down any of our ideas, but listened and provided helpful comments when needed. My husband and I had some pretty specific requests with music for the ceremony and the reception and Andy was able to make everything happen! The BEST DJ in the Pittsburgh area. He has a great taste in music and an ability to feel out the crowed that is second to none. Andy is the nicest guy who just wants the bride to be happy. He works so well with other vendors which makes the planning process 10x easier. His online music selection database he uses is THE COOLEST. There's something about Andy you trust. He cares. He is not about the flash and the bling and the "all about me and the music" like a lot of DJs. He is professional and HE KNOWS WEDDINGS!!!

You won't regret going with Andy at Andy Booth Productions. I also hear he teaches a great spin class ;) he can whip you into shape before your wedding and then help you dance the night away!! Not to mention he brings his daughter occasionally as an assistant and she is awesome.

Can't recommend Andy enough!

Hands down, Andy was the MVP of our wedding. I can't speak highly enough of his professionalism, accommodating nature, and frankly just how awesome he is as a person and as the MC/DJ for our wedding.

From the start, Andy was incredibly knowledgeable - I was the stereotypical out of town bride stressed out about so many decisions. His wealth of experience and approach to not only myself and my now husband but to my parents throughout the planning process was flawless - calming, accessible, responsive, and professional. He gave great insight and was able to provide suggestions that ended up making the flow of our reception exactly what we envisioned (but couldn't articulate).

Our reception was a massive hit, and I attribute the vast majority of it to Andy. Our venue ended up with a power outage which affected Andy's equipment during dinner, but he was calm, collected, and totally had it under control (which brought major relief to us!). I didn't even notice when we got the music back - he didn't miss a beat (no pun intended). Once dinner was finished, it was a freaking ball. He read the crowd perfectly and had the dance floor full the entire night (when we got kicked out at 1am we had 60 people still dancing). We had a diverse crowd (Texans, Jamaicans, Canadians, you name it) and every single song that came on was a perfect seamless transition and kept the mood just right.

I cannot recommend Andy highly enough - I wish I could add a sixth star to this review. If a crowded dance floor is important to you and your family on your special day, Andy is a slam dunk.

A note for brides with picky dads: My dad is a tough customer - always has been and always will be. As the ultimate host of the night, he had extremely high expectations for all of our vendors. After we met with Andy the month before our wedding to walk through the first dances, entry songs, etc., my dad said with a smile, "We're in good hands with Andy." And right he was :)

Andy was AMAZING! He played everything that we requested on our planning site and then expanded from that. The dance floor was packed all night. He knew the songs that we did not want played and those songs were never heard, even if they were requested by our guests. He was professional, fun, and energetic. Andy responded to our emails and phone calls quickly and it was very important to him that he knew the bridal party's names and how to pronounce them. When it was decided that we needed an extra hour of DJ, Andy had no issues with staying that extra hour and he kept the party going.

Andy was absolutely amazing. He is one of the only vendors that I did not stress about prior to our wedding. He is not only an awesome DJ, but a great MC and provided a great flow to our reception. In fact, when I was a little bit stressed out about being late to our reception he calmed me down letting me know that nothing starts without the bride! He has great taste in music and he worked our "must plays" into the night flawlessly. Our guests were on the dance floor all night, both young and older guests alike. In addition to his talent as a DJ, he is a truly nice guy- we loved working with Andy!

Andy was a joy to work with and made our wedding reception better than we could have imagined! We debated and interviewed many bands before deciding we really wanted the flexibility of a DJ for song variety and the fact that our cocktail hour and reception were on different floors. From our first phone call with Andy we knew we wanted to work with him! He was professional, super fun, and kept our guests (from our grandparents to our friends to our high school cousins) on the dance floor all night!!! Andy was the second vendor that I called after we got engaged! I've known Andy for several years now. (He's one of my go-to DJs as a wedding planner.) Wedding upon wedding is flawlessly run thanks to him and that experience was no different, even as the bride. Prior to the wedding, Andy's online tools are a wonderful way to begin planning your event music. His library of songs seem endless. (I have unique tastes in music- specifically a love for classical and instrumental tunes. He had no problem finding some of my favorites and incorporating them into our dinner.) What impresses me most about Andy is not only his ability to read a crowd and respond to their music needs, but also his ability to manage timing and logistics. Andy kept in contact with us all evening long. He checked in with our parents, speakers and ourselves prior to any planned moments to ensure that we were prepared and present, he lined the bridal party up for entrances and even made on-the-spot adjustments to accommodate last minute requests the night-of.

My husband and I cannot thank Andy enough! Book him and you will be thrilled with the experience. His professionalism and organization, along with his knowledge and appreciation for music, result in a packed dance floor and a smooth and unforgettable evening!

Andy was the DJ for my sisters wedding and as soon as I got engaged we emailed him to see if he was available! He knows the crowd and what they want! The set up is so sleek that you hardly even notice it's there! The volume is never painful for the ears for those who don't like it too loud, but still makes for a great party!

Andy Booth was amazing to work with! From the moment I contacted him to inquire about potentially booking him for our wedding, I was amazed at his professionalism and apparent love for what he does. He was quick to respond to my inquiries in a personal way rather than the stock email responses I got from all of my other DJ inquiries. He ensured we met a few weeks before our day to review our plans for the evening of our reception. I left that meeting feeling certain we had chosen the right DJ! He assured me that he was not only there to keep the evening flowing with music but that he would ensure that all of the small details, like the cake placement or the order of dances, cake cutting, etc. was as I had requested. He was considerate of the timing of the reception and always ensured that I knew what to expect next. The best part of our reception was when he surprised us with an extra song at the very end, which my husband and I danced to as everyone watched and then our bridal party finished the song by crowding us and giving us a giant hug. I've literally never felt more love or happiness, and it was all because he played that last song. Andy captured video and photos of some of the best parts of our reception and even emailed them to us the next day! I cannot say enough great things about Andy Booth and can only hope that he DJs the next wedding I attend!

Although not a wedding -- Andy handled our son's bar mitzvah -- I can tell you how wonderful he was during every stage of the planning. Andy is an amazing DJ and a great person to work with. I interviewed several DJs in Pittsburgh before meeting with Andy for the first time, and there was no comparison. Andy was extremely helpful in addressing all of our questions and concerns regarding music for our wedding day at The Pennsylvanian on 7/13/13, and he was willing to make several revisions to our entrance songs until we were completely satisfied. Numerous people at the reception mentioned that the DJ was excellent! I highly recommend Andy for wedding receptions!!!

Our wedding would not have been the same without Andy there! He went well above and beyond to make sure that everything went smoothly. Between the forms on his website and the personal contact that we had prior to our wedding, we were very confident that he had everything organized and under control. We picked our vendors carefully, confident that each one knew what they are doing, and that we didn't have to worry about every detail. Andy was no exception.

Also, you can definitely tell that he has a lot of wedding experience. Andy knew what to play and when to play it. Every time it seemed as if the dance floor was going to die down, he turned it around with the right song selection.

Andy Booth is a classy, professional DJ with a fun and adventurous personality! Every time we communicated with Andy whether in person, phone or through email we felt that he really cared about his craft and our satisfaction. He has a variety of cool lighting options and a great online tool that allowed our guests to make many of their music requests in advance. Our guests LOVED this and it helped to get them involved well before the actually Wedding Day! Andy was extremely patient with us as we had some last minute song selections. We trusted his input and we and had complete confidence in his ability to read the crowd/guests to keep the party hopping! During our reception Andy was kind enough to double check with us about a specific song before he played it, since it wasn't on our preferred list. Andy was a great mc in keeping the flow of events moving along in a timely manner. He coordinated well with our other vendors so that everyone was prepared and on the same timeline. We were happy with ALL the music Andy played and we had tons of positive feedback from guests of ALL ages! It was really a magical evening. We contacted Andy to DJ our wedding ceremony & rehearsal, he was highly recommended from internet reviews & friends. He was incredibly helpful & flexible throughout planning & the event. We met Andy prior to the wedding to go over song choices & he provided many options & suggestions. He gave us creative ideas & many were used. He provided us with music via email to help us conveniently hear possible song choices. Communication was prompt & professional. Music inventory was huge & he provided us with various renditions of songs. For ex., we wanted ceremony music to be all string & acoustic versions. Andy provided us with multiple renditions of the songs selected so we could pick exactly what we wanted. Andy was great at dealing with last minute changes. I emailed Andy the night before the wedding at 11pm with song selections I had forgotten. Andy made all the changes with no complications. He was professional throughout the event & played a great variety the guests enjoyed. Andy was extremely professional & wore a tux. He demonstrated the perfect balance of announcement & music. We almost forgot the bouquet toss, but thankfully Andy reminded us! Andy also provided a website to help plan song choices prior to the wedding & sent reminders throughout the planning process. He really made the music portion of our wedding easy & we would absolutely hire him again. Lastly, our wedding & rehearsal was held at Pittsburgh's Grand Hall. We had been told that when we selected a DJ we would need to ensure their equipment would be suitable for the space. The Grand Hall has a very high ceiling and is a very large open space. Andy had prior experience with the venue which helped us feel very confident & comfortable, & his high quality equipment sounded awesome throughout the event. Andy was essential to the success of our wedding! During the planning process, he was professional and responsive to what we wanted for our wedding. He was able to read our tastes and readily understood that it was important for the celebration to start immediately at the reception. He inspired confidence the first time we met him, and we really didn't have to give him any direction. He arrived on time and set up everything efficiently and independently.

We used Andy during our ceremony and the reception--which were quite different. The ceremony was modern and simple. The reception was in the Carnegie Music Hall, with difficult acoustics. The sound was impeccable and more importantly, Andy read the guests' mood perfectly and was flexible in music choices so that he included everyone and did not let the momentum fade for a second.

Andy's reputation precedes him, and it was worth every penny to book him. He is quite popular, so book as early as you can!

Andy Booth is by FAR the best DJ I have ever experienced. He was the DJ at my two sister's weddings and my family and I didn't even have to think twice when it came to our DJ. In fact, we were willing to work with what dates HE had available to make sure we could have him! His song selection is phenomenal. My husband and I had been to a wedding the Andy DJ'd at and it turned out to be one of best weddings we had ever been to. We were quick to contact Andy when we got engaged last year and he was quick and attentive to get us a quote and get us booked.
We only had to meet with Andy once before the wedding to finalize the details. He had form online that was very helpful for choosing our songs and laying out the schedule for the reception.
We also used Andy for uplighting to add something extra to our ballroom. The lighting was perfect and added that "extra" something to the look and the feel of the whole room.
The ceremony and reception were flawless and moved along very nicely. Andy was very energetic and in tune with what our friends wanted to hear. We had the time of our lives dancing the night away and didn't want to leave when it was all over.
We would highly recommend Andy to any couples looking for a contemporary and modern DJ!

What else can we say other than Andy was amazing. We knew from the moment met him that he is the kind of guy you want to hang around. My husband and I are very particular about music and have strong opinions so we were worried we wouldn't find anyone that could cater to our style and still keep the crowd moving. He represented us perfectly and made our night unforgettable. My groom and I kept saying to each other 'great song'. He knew exactly what to play to cater to our crowd and kept everyone dancing all night. Andy did the music for our ceremony and cocktail hour and it all went just as we had hoped. Andy was always great at returning our calls and emails and very flexible with all our requests.
We had a blast at our wedding and we have Andy to thank. Our only regret is we forgot to get a picture with him before the night ended.

I love to dance, and couldn't wait to have all of my friends and family dancing the night away with my groom and I! Andy definitely did not disappoint! He took the time to meet with us ahead of time and really listen to our concerns, likes and dislikes. He then tailored all of our music at our cocktail our and reception to what we love, but making sure all of our guests enjoyed themselves as well. He has tons of music you can sort through ahead of time, you can send links to your guests to see what they want to hear, and he will always answer any questions right away! I was worried too about the length of our first dance and family dances, and Andy definitely eased my worries! He didn't want us to cut our time together short ahead a time, which ended up being amazing professional advice! I enjoyed every minute dancing with my dad, but knew if we felt it was getting long I could just give Andy a head nod and he'd take care of it. Last thing I'll say, because I could rave about him for a long time, but he was a great MC for the night. He talked the perfect amount; all the guests were always informed of what was going on, but he never got long-winded! Amazing DJ and he really cares about each couple and their experience!

I originally contacted Andy because I wanted him to DJ my wedding. However, he was already booked for my date. He recommended another DJ who I ended up booking through AJB Productions. While I'm sure Andy would have done a fabulous job DJing my wedding, I was VERY pleased with his recommendation DJ Ed Cyphers. He was very friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and an all around AMAZING DJ!! He was easy to contact and always got back to me quickly. He provided us with great resources to help us pick songs for the important dances of the night. During the wedding, he did not put on a show as some DJs tend to do. He played music that got people out on the dance floor and kept them there. He also made sure to let me know when important events such as the garter toss, cake cutting, and father daughter dance were coming up. Ed was also able to keep everything on schedule which I'm sure was not easy to do! I have already recommended him to friends that are planning weddings! When looking back at our wedding, he was definitely one of the best choices we made!!

Andy already has such a great reputation and glowing reviews so it wasn't a tough decision to have him DJ our wedding. We are so grateful that we found Andy Booth for our wedding reception. After seeing his work at my sister’s reception, my fiancé, family and I knew we had to book him as soon as we set the date. Knowing we had Andy as our DJ put us at ease; he has a way of knowing exactly what his clients want and how to implement it. He is a wonderful person, very professional, and excellent at keeping the flow of events.

Andy was able to pull off the feat of moving his equipment and music around to THREE different floors for our ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing reception. He seamlessly transitioned the celebration from room to room – there were no hiccups at all, and the music never stopped. It was amazing! He was open to all of our ideas and offered extremely helpful suggestions. The planning was easy and Andy covered everything with us, so we knew what to expect.

Many of our guests said this was the best wedding they’ve ever been to – and we owe a great deal of that to Andy! Thanks for keeping the people on their feet and dancing, taking their requests and ours, and for an overall great day and night. We simply cannot recommend Andy enough for weddings and other special events.

AMAZING!!! I recently got married and the most important thing to my husband and I was to have the dancing never stop. Andy did just that! We moved through the reception perfectly and by the time dinner was over, we had already cut the cake, had our first dance, completed the father/daughter and mother/son dance, and showed a slideshow of us growing up. The dance floor was packed all night - seriously no one would step off the floor. Andy and I worked together to come up with an awesome playlist and he ran with it and did such an amazing job. My husband and I had our wedding this past May at The Carnegie Music Hall Foyer. I fell absolutely in love with our venue, and naturally, needed every other detail to be flawless as well! Music was one of my biggest concerns for our wedding, and I spent so much of my time looking at different DJ's in the area. I was really worried about picking a DJ, because you can never know exacty how your big day will turn out. I came across Andy and read all of the great reviews written by other brides, so I decided to meet with him. Luckily he was available for our date, and our meeting went great (he was so incredibly nice and down to earth!), so we booked him for our wedding! Now that our wedding has past, I can honestly say that no review can even come close to describing how amazing Andy is and what a perfect day he turns your wedding day into! From the very moment I met with Andy to the very last second of our wedding, he made our day his priority. He was always available to answer questions and offer advice, even an hour before the wedding when I was calling him changing details because I was so nervous! He made every step and process SO easy and stressfree, and he was my favorite vendor to work with. Even in the weeks leading up to our wedding I'll admit I was a little nervous about music! I have been to weddings where the dance floor is empty ALL night, and no one seems to be having fun.. I did not want our day to be like that. We had guest ranging in age from 16-94, and although he told me he would have guests enjoying themselves all night, HE TRULY kept the dance floor packed all night!! I wasn't one of those brides that knows every single song she wants played at her wedding, and although Andy has an online planning site that gives you the option to list those songs if you do know, he is experienced and trustworthy enough to choose songs for you, and he played the most amazing songs on our day! He talked with/coordinated our day with all of our other vendors, making our wedding day go by smoothly. We could have literally (and basically did!) put our whole day in his hands and it turned out completely flawless. I cannot say enough positive things about Andy as a person or about his DJ services, and I can't imagine our day with another DJ- guests are still telling my husband and I that our wedding was the most fun they ever had! My sister-in-law booked him for her wedding in September, and whenever anyone asks for wedding planning advice, his name is the first time I say. Having Andy as one of your wedding vendors is honestly the best thing you can do in regards to wedding planning. I love that we still keep in touch, and hopefully there will be another event in the future we need a DJ for!

We chose Andy to DJ our wedding because of the many great reviews I read about him. From the very first meeting, he was nice, friendly and professional. He played everything on my "must play" list and either all or most of the "play if you can" list, and he didn't torture me with anything on the "do not play" list (which was great). He played everything we wanted for every moment of the reception and even got some songs I requested that he didn't have (however he does already have pretty much every song ever). He went above and beyond by putting together a mix I requested for our "surprise bride and bridesmaids dance". He even helped calm me down when I got a bit overwhelmed. I got many compliments about Andy- my friend's mom told me that he was probably the best DJ she has ever heard at a wedding! I would recommend him to anyone! Great guy!

One of our wedding guests has signed a contract with Andy to DJ at her wedding this fall, which speaks to how highly I recommend him. Throughout the entire process, he was fast to respond to any of our questions, and he did a walk-through of the venue a couple of days before our wedding, to make sure he had everything he needed. A couple of weeks before our wedding, we gave him a list of songs we wanted to hear. He acquired the few he did not already own and managed to add to our list and make it even better, with the additional songs perfectly suited to our tastes. He also adjusted what songs he played based on the overall vibe on the dance floor, keeping the party going. Plus, on top of his fantastic DJ skills, he’s an all-around good guy. During the setup process, he helped my bridal party with all of the decorations, going way above and beyond the call of duty. Working with him was a wonderful experience from start to finish.

Andy was without question one of the highlights of our wedding reception. We had very specific requests which he was very receptive to while also accomodating any planned or unexpected parts of the reception that came along the way. Extremely personable with an incredibly high attention to detail. From beginning to end he was an aboslute delight to work with and made the deejay and music aspect of our wedding run as smoothly as possible. It's well over a year since our wedding, and wedding guests still mention how impressed they were with our deejay and music selection. Andy is the best DJ in the Pittsburgh area. He took all of our requests and made a great playlist for the wedding. Super friendly and helpful!

Andy Booth is without question the reason my wedding reception ran smoothly. He was professional and well-prepared. He didn't mispronounce a single name (if you've been to a wedding where the DJ didn't prepare and butchered the names of the bride and groom, you'll understand the importance of someone who prepares for a job!). Andy is easy going and fun to work with. I would recommend him highly to anyone who is looking for a DJ for any occasion.

Andy made our reception. We continue to hear from our guest that our wedding was one of the best that they have ever been too. Our family and friends love to get out on the dance floor and he played music that appealed to the young and old (well middle aged). The dance floor was packed all night! Couldn't of asked for a better DJ.

I highly recommend Andy, and even recommended him to my sister for her wedding.

I gave Andy full power to play whatever songs he thought would keep the dance floor full, and by golly, he did just that! The dance floor could not even hold all the dancers, so the areas around my bars became mini dance floors as well.

The music was very appropriate for the occasion-- both at dinner and during the dancing. I had many older guests, and no guests sensibilities were offended with the song selection. There was a good mix of fast and slow songs.

Andy also did not talk too much. He knew that he was not the star of the show, but was there to facilitate the party.

If you choose Andy, you can expect a high level of professionalism and a packed dance floor! He is five stars, all the way!

Andy was awesome and very professional. He was so easy to work with and kept the dance floor packed all night! His online planning tool made creating a more customized playlist and timeline easy! I would recommend him to anyone looking for a wedding DJ!

Andy is awesome to work with. Guests at our wedding are still coming up to us telling me that he is, hands down, the best DJ in Pittsburgh!! He's the ultimate professional, listened to what we wanted, played songs that kept the dance floor busy the entire night!! His online planning guide was super helpful in making the night run smoothly. You would not be disappointed if you chose Andy as you DJ!! Highly recommended!

Working with Andy was a breeze. He was always easy to get in touch with and responded quickly to any questions that we had. He worked withus to find the prrfect music selections - no matter how obscure. We loved working with his on-line forms. It made the planning a breeze. Andy is very professional and I recommend him to every person planning a wedding in Pittsburgh.

Andy came recommended as a fantastic DJ by a friend and we were not disappointed. He kept the crowd dancing, played the songs we wanted and did a great job of determining the best requests from our guests. Because of his reputation, we were willing to pay more than the price for the other DJs we researched. We were not disappointed.

Throughout the planning process, Andy was incredibly accessible and helped us with all of our questions. Overall, a great experience.

We really enjoyed having Andy as our DJ. He is such a cool guy, and we had a ton of fun getting to know him. He is so accessible to communicate with and usually would respond to emails within a couple hours. Andy did a great job during our dinner music- several people had come up to me complimenting his choices! And the dance floor was absolutely packed all night ! The only criticisms I could make would be that we had several songs that were on our "absolutely must play" list that were missed. I had also made a few extra special requests a week or so before that he said were not a problem and they were missed. Several songs that were not "must plays" were played instead. That was somewhat disappointing to us, since we were waiting all night for some songs that had great sentimental value. Otherwise, we danced the night away !!

Andy was a good DJ choice for our wedding. We extended our reception an additional hour and he agreed on the contract to be "unlimited" which was perfect. My 16 yr old neice caught the bouquet andhe handled the situation very well. We didn't have to worry about the timing of the reception because he walked us through everything. However, the night before the wedding I was still waiting to hear back from him regarding the mix/music for the introductions. It was so last minute, which wasn't what I expected. With that being said, the intro music was not exactly what I wanted and a lot of our bridal party's names were pronounced wrong.

Andy was very pleasant to work with and has the experience to give couples confidence that he will be reliable and present himself in a professional manner. The only thing we probably would have changed was to work with him more pre-wedding to discuss what kinds of issues might arise at the reception based on our music selections. Our songs were geared towards our tastes (as opposed to those of some of our older guests) and as a result we had some people complaining during the reception, which was stressful. Had Andy indicated this could be an issue ahead of time (I am assuming this is not uncommon), we might have tried to balance the song list a little more to avoid problems ahead of time. Although Andy said he would accept the blame if people were upset when their requests were not played (essentially keeping us out of it), he evidently did tell some guests that we had the final say, which prompted people to complain to us directly during the reception... not a pleasant experience. Just something for couples to be aware of and maybe have a game plan for ahead of time if your music taste isn't balanced extremely well between genres. Other than that, the night went very smoothly and we would not hesitate to recommend Andy to others, even though we did want to share our one hiccup so others can be ready in case the same thing happens to them.
