Choose Andrew Holman

We had Andrew as our wedding photographer and it was a great choice! He is based in Sedona and as a result he knows how to best capture the beautiful Sedona landscape in his pictures whether it be at a wedding venue or out in nature. We loved how our pictures turned out. He accommodated all of our photo requests and added many additional great ideas. I would highly recommend Andrew for anyone getting married in Sedona.

Excellent Wedding Photographer

Andrew is professional, creative and friendly. He seems to genuinely care about the work he does and the people involved. I'm so glad we worked with him for our wedding! Even though our wedding was on the smaller side, there were still so many details going on the day of! But I felt like Andrew blended right in and took care of capturing the magic. He is great to work with!

A professional, kind, and creative photographer, with an incredible eye for detail. His experience shines through his work which seems to bend light, defy weather, and harness nature. Well worth it

We've had Andrew Holman take our family photos for over a decade. Every three or four years we get together, and Andrew steers the five of us through a photoshoot. Not always an easy task with three daughters. These images have captured us, and captivated us so much that when one of my daughters planned her wedding recently, there was no question but to base the ceremony around which days Andrew had free. 5 STARS!

Wedding Sedona

Eloped in May and I don’t think I have ever been photographed and loved it this much. Andrew is an amazing photographer. It was absolutely windy on the day we got married and yet he still made it all look as perfect as it felt. Will always recommend and hopefully get to book him again if ever needed when we go back to AZ! Thank you Andrew!

Andrew is the BEST, you should definitely have him as your photographer, your search is over! He captured our love and our special day so beautifully! We can’t say enough about how gorgeous the pictures are and Andrew knew exactly how to direct us to get the perfect shots! Andrew knows Sedona well (since he lives there) and was super helpful in guiding us to find the perfect place for our vow renewal and knew the perfect timing for the ceremony due to lighting. I have no doubt Andrew would photograph just as beautifully in any location though based on his professionalism and expertise. We could FEEL the photos that Andrew took because of the way he skillfully captured lighting and our candid moments and glances. We love everything about our pictures and more importantly love how Andrew was communicative, reasonably priced and just an all around wonderful person to work with!

Incredible Surprise Proposal Experience

Andrew was incredible to work with for planning and capturing our surprise proposal. Andrew was extremely responsive from start to finish. The knowledge he provided was very beneficial and showed through in the final product. Being from the east coast and never have been to Sedona, Andrew was able to recommend potential spots for the proposal including key details for each. The process could not have been more smooth. If you need a photographer for in or around Sedona, look no further.

Absolutely Worth It!

There's not enough I can say about Drew.

He worked his tail off during our wedding. He was very patient and reassuring during the bridal portraits during which I was a little emotional (out of pure happiness of course!) He was also flexible enough to help capture our first look, which was at a different location from either of our getting ready spots and the ceremony.

He made everything feel so natural. you hardly noticed him as he went about taking his shots.

I haven't seen the final photos yet, but I am very excited to see the final product. I have no doubt they will be amazing and I would highly recommend Drew for photography!

Everything I'd hoped for

We married on the spur of the moment while holidaying with family in Sedona, with only 4 days of preparation time. Andrew was professional, discreet, and clearly experienced, capturing the essence of our characters and landscape beautifully, especially considering the lack of consultation beforehand. We will look back fondly on these memories for the rest of our lives, all the more poignant for it being 5 days before we had to go back home to the UK because of the pandemic locking down flights. Thank you with all our hearts, Andrew!

Extremely Pleased!

My wife and I were in Sedona in November 2020 celebrating our 10th anniversary. We had scheduled a Vow renewal ceremony outdoors and Drew provided the photography services.

We were extremely pleased with all aspects if his services - he was punctual, personable and very easy to work with through the ceremony. He made suggestions as to best locations and he managed to capture all of our memories without detracting from the ceremony in any way. He listened to our desires and made the entire process comfortable.

When we received our pictures digitally we could not have been happier - the quality was excellent and he digital album was easy to navigate. We would recommend him highly!

Awesome Adventure and Stunning Photos

Andrew was awesome to work with. We did an excursion up to Merry Go Round Rock in Sedona on a private jeep tour to get photos after our ceremony. He's willing to go way out of the way to capture the moment. He will even put himself on the edge of a cliff to get the shots! He has a very easy going personality and helped us make our day very memorable. We highly recommend!

Perfect pictures of a perfect day

Andrew is professional, easy to talk to, has a lot of ideas for settings and locations, and listens to your wishes for the photos. He was quick responding to our emails.

Andrew spent time with us pre-, during- and after the ceremony, and we have tons of pictures that we love from all three settings. He was discrete during our ceremony, and we actually forgot he was there with us. Still, we have perfect pictures capturing our feelings in the moment. We felt comfortable during the photo-shoot, and Andrews photos reminds us of our wedding day in such a lively way, and we can feel the atmosphere just watching his photos. We had a privat ceremony, with just the two of us and our witnesses, but our friends and family says that the almost feel they were there with us, just looking at the pictures.

Best photographer I have ever worked with

We cannot recommend Andrew enough. My husband and I went through heartofsedonaweddings.com and were offered a few wedding photographers for our ceremony and after careful review of each photographer's websites/portfolio we concluded Andrew's style meshed well with ours. The key to the 5+ star review is the timely and clear communication between Andrew and I. Andrew was not only highly response, upbeat and positive, but also flexible in a challenging location situation. We to have the ceremony at Bell Rock and that location changed a few times due to the access road and parking lot to the site being in flux (opened/closed over the course of a few days). To say it was stressful would be an understatement but Andrew was flexible throughout, arrived early to the site and took the most beautiful photos. People keep remarking how it looks like a magazine spread! I cannot thank him enough and recommend Andrew Holman Photography without hesitation!

Could not be more thrilled

One of the first things I knew about our wedding was that I had to have Andrew as our photographer and I could not be more thrilled! We were looking to have a smaller, less expensive wedding. A lot of people will go with a cheaper photographer or rely on photos friends and family have taken. Do not do it! After a year of planning, stressing, and some blood sweat and tears, the actual wedding starts and ends in a blink of an eye. With Andrews stunning photos we will forever be able to come back to our special day and share it with future generations! Working with Andrew was super easy and efficient which took away a lot of stress away. I felt very comfortable working with Andrew which says a lot as a camera shy person let alone with a stranger 😂. He was also very experienced working with our other vendors and venue which was a huge help on wedding day. Thank you Andrew for capturing such great shots and being an awesome person!

Look no further- WOW!

Andrew was our wedding day photographer! We first met him with our planner, and he was knowledgeable, confident, and easy going. He showed us some of his work and the albums to choose from, and we knew this was going to be our photographer before the meeting even ended. Not only are the pictures INCREDIBLE (album, quality, high res etc), Andrew is also very patient! I was anxious on my wedding day once I was ready head-to-toe, and just wanted to get to the venue. He was patient and wanted to get some of THOSE bridal shots, and I remember just wanting to leave and forget the pictures, haha. Very politely, he asked just for ONE more picture, and squeezed in several more. I am SO grateful for his patience and above all, his knowingness that if we had just left for the venue like I wanted, I’d regret not having those photos taken of me before the ceremony. Andrew, you’re awesome!! Another time he demonstrated patience was during the cocktail hour photos with my new husband- my bouquet was big and heavy, so unknowingly I kept raising the bouquet and he must’ve reminded me to lower my bouquet dozens of times, haha. All in all, he’s a breeze to work with and fantastic at what he does in so many ways. 😊

The Best!!!!!

Could not say enough positive things about working with Drew! Super easy going and a breeze to work with, and well, THE PICTURES. We got our official photos from Drew a month or so ago and we are stunned, they are so beautiful. Spartan Manor is Perfect

For my elopement, it was a package deal and prearrangement to have a photographer take pictures for my ceremony. I noticed that there were three individuals who took the photos, but I did not know who I would get. I saw Andrew's work and I was hoping that I would get him. Luckily, the moment he arrived to the site I was so excited to realize I was getting Andrew for my photographer. His work is pure beauty. I wouldn't say I'm photogenic, but his photos made me cry and relive my wedding day. His pictures made me think of how beautiful I was and my groom was so handsome!! I couldn't believe it. It's perfect!!!
I don't know his rates, but I'm sure without a doubt that it would be worth ever penny. He's such a professional, kind, amazing individual. I highly recommend him to everyone. Just get him! :)

Andrew is superb! My husband and I eloped to Sedona this summer and hired Andrew as our photographer. He goes above and beyond for his clients. He was timely and responsive right off the bat with our emails inquiring about his services. We could tell immediately he was our guy based off our conversations with him and his portfolio. On the day of the ceremony, he was punctual, professional, kind, knowledgeable, creative, and lots of fun to work with. I could not have imagined this day with anyone else as our photographer. The final product speaks for itself. We are so happy with our pictures. There is such a variety, and the quality is amazing. Over the past week and a half, I have literally looked at our pictures probably over a hundred times at this point. They are beautiful. Thank you Andrew for the wonderful pictures.

Andrew Holman is an amazing photographer! We researched a very long time and reviewed mulitple portfolios. Once we viewed his gallery we instantly knew he was going to be our photographer. Andrew was very responsive to my emails and didn’t seem to mind that we changed the wedding bride/groom photo start time last minute. He was very friendly and relaxed while assisting us with poses and capturing the moment. Our wedding photos are the best wedding photos I have ever seen. Each photo has a wow factor. They look as if they should be in a magazine! Andrew has some serious talent. We are so excited to re-live the happiest day of our lives through these gorgeous photos! Picking Andrew as our photographer was the best decision we made for our wedding. We cannot thank Andrew enough for these precious memories!

I chose Andrew Holman to photograph my wedding based upon his reputation for being the top choice photographer in the Sedona area. I eloped so I had to do some research not being from the area. I have to say he exceeded my expectations in every way. He is truely All That! The 4 weeks it took to receive the images of that monumental day were well worth the wait.

Andrew made us feel very comfortable during the photography of our wedding. He was very willing to accommodate whatever poses and family positions that we asked for. We just received our photos 2.5 weeks after our wedding, which is a fast turn around! He was able to capture all parts of our ceremony, so we felt like we got to relive our day. I appreciate him giving us access to both RAW photos and smaller more web appropriate sizes so that we have them for social media. There is an option to print through his website or to do it on our own as well as send the pictures to our friends and family directly. It was a very sunny day and windy, but he was able to work around the sun and wind to make us look beautiful! I would recommend him and feel that his services were a good value for the cost. I felt like it was my princess day and he was able to capture that!.

Andrew is 100% professional and down to earth. He gave me advice on locations and what would be best for our day. He was truly having fun and took a ton of pictures! Andrew is awesome. We wanted our elopement in Sedona to be no-less special for its intimacy, and so we sought to hire a pro. We'd been told to hire a local; Sedona's magnificent colors and tricky lighting can be difficult for the uninitiated to capture. We googled and immediately were drawn to Andrew's work; energetic, artistic, subtle, but still bold and with a style that's at once classic without being overly traditional. Perfect.

Andrew was quick to reply and very easy to work with. We had a lot of questions and, having never been to Sedona, needed a bit of guidance. Andrew helped us pick a spot, a time, and though we booked months in advance, kept in touch as we neared the date, giving us plenty of reassurance. Then, day of, there was no fuss, there were no problems, and he worked brilliantly with a quick, but not rushed, style that at times was so organic, he almost went unnoticed. Then, when it was necessary for him to give us direction, it was clear, easy, and fun.

The picture turn around was exactly as he said, and we were blown away. My wife is most beautiful when she thinks nobody is looking, and that's exactly how Andrew captured her. It's as if he and his camera saw her through my eyes. His photos of her, of us both, of our special day, of all the incredible beauty that surrounded us, are so beautiful they're heartbreaking.

Our friends and family are raving. Yours will too. Andrew is highly, highly recommended.

We did a destination wedding at Sedona, Arizona and got married in March 2017. Andrew is terrific and awesome and his photography shows it. He photographed our engagement photos and wedding day. Andrew was our wedding photographer for our wedding at Sedona Golf Resort this past November. He did such a fantastic job! He showed up early, stayed late, and could not have been more professional. He even made sure we got tons of great shots out on the golf course as I had requested, despite the freezing temperatures! Prior to the big day I had sent Andrew over a few "idea" shots I found while browsing Pinterest and he nailed them all. Though they took a bit longer than anticipated to get back, once I received them I realized why. He spent so much time and care editing them to perfection. Andrew was a fantastic photographer. He went above and beyond to accommodate our preferences to do outdoorsy photos and had a superior understanding of Sedona and Sedona lighting at all times of the day.
At our wedding he was calm and low key and people said that he was really good at knowing where to stand to not get in the way of the ceremony but still get good shots. He was good at making me laugh and reminding me not to hold my bouquet awkwardly. It was really nice knowing that someone was helping me look normal and natural in the photos because I am definitely not a model!

The best part of our time with Andrew was when he took us hiking two days after the wedding so we could get sunset shots. He took us somewhere off trail and unmarked on maps that he had scoped out for our shoot on a hike. He convinced his friend to come with us, just for fun, and haul heavy lighting equipment and work the flash for him. The hike out was really fun as his friend happened to be a really cool guy who had traveled the world and was a writer. After climbing up a 10-15 foot cliff we arrived at an amazing photo location. The photos he took at sunset are stunning. I showed them to my students and they said they looked like Vogue photos! Everyone is amazed with our sunset photos. In some of the photos we are literally standing at the edge of a 300 foot cliff overlooking Sedona in the perfect sunset red rock colors. (He was good at reminding us to be safe.) Of course, a lot of people are not going to want to carry a wedding dress in a backpack while they climb up a 10 foot cliff, and he knows a lot of more reasonable spots for photos, so don't worry about his photo sessions being too intense. If you are willing and able to go off-trail in Sedona, he's more than capable of hauling heavy cameras out into the wilds and keeping a smile on his face while doing it! If you are an outdoorsy person looking to get unique photos in Sedona or Northern Arizona I would definitely pick Andrew.

Andrew photographed our wedding on September 5, and he did a phenomenal job!! It was raining the day of the wedding, and Andrew worked with us that day to make sure we got exactly what we wanted! When we said we were still having the ceremony outside, he grabbed an umbrella. When we said we wanted to hike up behind the Enchantment to get photos of Boynton Canyon, he said lets go! When we shared our wedding photos with our friends and family - they were practically speechless. No exaggeration. Every single person commented on Drew's talent as a photographer. We selected Sedona for its natural beauty and knew the photographs would be special but it takes someone like Drew to make them extraordinary. I told my husband that I really felt like a Disney princess in some of the photos. The love and emotion being felt that day shined through all of the pictures. Drew is friendly but reserved. Drew is fabulous! The photos took a little longer to get that I expected, but I'm will to bet that was due to my impatience! The photos are WELL worth the wait. Beautiful and already sorted through to weed out the bad ones. I believe they were all lightly retouched in some way and some of the portraits were fully retouched. Absolutely gorgeous images that captured the beauty around us and the joy on our and our guests' faces.

He has a lovely demeanor and was very professional. He was not obtrusive during the ceremony at all.

During booking and follow up, his communication is brief but to the point.
We feel that his photography is a tremendous value and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for classically beautiful wedding photography.

We had a small destination wedding in May 2013. Andrew was highly recommended by our ceremony officiant and flexible regarding scheduling, so we went ahead with booking him without even seeing all of these other wonderful reviews online. His website gallery is incredible and I figured that we'd be happy if our pictures looked half as good as all of them.
The ceremony was at Merry Go Round Rock with a Pink Jeep tour. Andrew knew the area very well and got a great variety of shots.
Andrew was very responsive to email even when traveling out of the country and very flexible when we wanted to extend the amount of time to book just a couple weeks prior to the ceremony. He edited the pictures and got them to us very quickly. They were absolutely beautiful. He really captured the day perfectly and made the most of the surrounding environment and weather. We would highly recommend him for any photography needs.

Andrew did an amazing job with our elopement photos. I could not be happier with them and I am truly grateful to him for creating such beautiful memories for us. We both love them and have gotten nothing but rave reviews from everybody who has seen them. Early on we decided that good pictures were a priority for us, so we did a lot of research and decided that Andrew was the photographer we wanted. Since October is the busy wedding season we had to change our date based on his availability and both of us are happy that we did. Andrew was very responsive and easy to work with leading up to the big day. Neither of us are very comfortable getting our pictures taken, but Andrew was very professional and personable, and immediately put us both at ease. He is very familiar with the area and will go the extra mile to get the perfect shots. He obviously knows his stuff, and has a lot of talent on top of it. From his pictures online I knew that I liked his work, but I was still surprised by how much I loved our pictures.
I tend towards the frugal side and did have some reservations about the amount of money that a good professional photographer charges, but I can honestly say that it was worth every single penny and more. I can't say enough good things about Andrew Holman Photography.

The pictures Andrew shot were outstanding. We love his perspective, in reviewing other photographer's portfolio's prior to making a decision about a photographer, we found Andrew's stood out from the pack. We recognize this more so now that we've received the pictures from our wedding. The pictures are so beautiful and capture the wedding day in a way that we can look fondly upon. Andrew is the reason we decided on a destination wedding in Sedona. His photos are so beautiful we fell in love and knew we just had to get married there.

LOVE all my pictures. Its really hard to choose my favorite. He did a great job capturing the setting/scenery, and he had alot of great ideas that made cool pics.

Mark and I were thrilled with Andrew's work. Our photos are amazing! I have photographed weddings in the past so understand the work involved with such an important shoot. I haven't received the pictures yet, but Drew is a dream to work with. Very flexible, patient, and accommodating. I hate having my picture taken, and he was so good about it! As a former wedding planner I already knew Drew, and seen his work. This is why I had to have him on my special day. I am so excited to see the pictures, and already know they will be fabulous. I was very relieved and excited when Drew was available for my special day. As a matter of fact, I checked his availability before setting the date!! Thanks, Drew, and I know my photos will be even better than I could ever have hoped for!

Every picture Andrew took is breathtaking! We loved his shots when looking for our wedding photographer for the light and the perspective and the overall magic - we got it all and then some! When we finally got to see our pictures, we were absolutely moved. From the sunlight weaving itself through the grass blades to the red rocks reflecting in the creek while the early moon is peeking its round head through the tree branches - the magic of Sedona’s beauty with the two of us tastefully arranged into it all like we belonged right in that place and moment … He seemed to have a vision of where he was taking us and that vision of his blended with our input seamlessly.
We did our homework thoroughly in our search for the right vendors for our destination wedding and Andrew Holman was the perfect photographer for us (his flexibility and ease of reach from far away was huge help too). We would wholeheartedly recommend his artistic sensitivity and professional dedication to the craft of photography to anyone. Andrew also, apart from taking the most beautiful pictures, turned out to be a very nice person and we genuinely had a good time working with him.

Andrew was contracted to photograph a small outdoor wedding by a creek. No sooner did the ceremony start, it started to drizzle. We got soaked! Andrew gamely pressed on to photograph the ceremony that continued. As a result, we got some unique and ethereal photographs. Other photographers would have packed it up and left. Who wants to get thousands of dollars of equipment wet? We're so grateful he continued to shoot. The photos we got after editing were absolutely amazing! I've never seen a bride with quite the same collection. That level of dedication and professionalism can't be beat. He seemed delight in the challenge of the rain to capture photos that might never occur again.

We could not have been more happy with Andrew's work. My wife was reluctant to to hire a professional photographer at all for our very small wedding, and we asked him to work for just a short period of time. He was super accommodating, took great photos, and was very flexible and helpful afterwards. Very nice guy as well.

I hand picked Andrew Holman because he has an artistic eye. I knew for that reason alone, we would have the most unique photographs of our Wedding day.
