We love andy!

Booking Andy was the BEST decision I could have ever made when planning my wedding. Our venue recommended him, and from the moment we had our initial call, I knew he was the perfect photographer for us. I call Andy our unofficial official planner, because he was constantly reassuring me through all the wedding planning woes I encountered. I got married during the insane heat wave this summer, and Andy had a plan A, plan B, plan C, and plan D all in place so that we could really enjoy every moment of our day. He captured the day perfectly and is truly a gem of a human being. Present, kind, calm, and all around a lovely person to have by your side on the most important day our of lives! Everyone is still RAVING about him.

 About 2 days after the wedding, the previews started rolling in and oh boy were they GORGEOUS! We had a big party wedding, so I ended up hiring Andy for a few more hours to ensure he captured all of the fun on the dancefloor :) We cannot wait to get all of the photos back!

Amazing Photographer, Highly Recommend!

We are so happy that we worked with Andy for our wedding - he was incredibly responsive, gave us some great ideas to consider during the planning process, and was just all around wonderful. He was prompt for everything, and helped us work through some "game time" decisions during the wedding day. He made the day truly memorable for us, and we love his work for our engagement and our wedding. It was especially great to get to see some previews of our photos soon after the wedding so that we could really retrace the day. We definitely recommend hiring him, he is amazing.

Hire Andy now! Just do it!!

Andy is extraordinary. Hire him for your wedding immediately. He was amazing to work with - flexible, fun, an absolute artist, and from our first intro call my (now) husband deemed him “the right energy for our wedding” - and he was absolutely correct in that assessment.

Andy showed up nearly three hours early, even when our timeline had him with us for 11 hours already! And he put everyone at ease and captured our day so beautifully without any stress, and helped us easily get back on track when we got a tad behind at one point so the ceremony started exactly on time.

I will also say we had about 215 people at our wedding, and I was initially nervous to hire Andy because he said he typically doesn’t need a second shooter (though was happy to hire one if we wanted) and so many other photographers require it for a certain size wedding. I am so glad we went with our gut on this and hired him alone. My wedding party didn’t realize that he was solo (we had two videographers there too) and were shocked because he somehow managed to be everywhere at once.

We are only two days out from our wedding and he’s already sent us so many extraordinary highlights that we can’t choose a reasonable number to share in this review!

Hire Andy Todes, and we promise you won’t regret it!

Best Vendor at our Wedding!

I cannot say enough amazing things about Andy. He was by far the best vendor we hired for our wedding weekend. He is efficient and has a beautiful vision for each photo while radiating a sense of calm and bringing a sense of humor and fun to a wedding. Our bridal party was obsessed with him and my maid of honor went on to hire Andy for her own wedding following the amazing experience.

Fabulous photographer! Hire him!

Andy Todes was the photographer at our son’s recent Liberty House wedding. Throughout the entire planning process, Andy was a pleasure, responding promptly to requests and questions with helpful suggestions, and a general timeline of how the photos would happen on the wedding day. He struck the perfect balance of being organized and efficient yet calm and low key, helping to make a potentially stressful day more fun. On the wedding day his experience, expertise, and adaptability helped navigate multiple challenges (traffic, crowded park, very sunny day) and he was able to take an enormous number of pictures while making it all look easy!

The engagement photos he took were fabulous, but the wedding preview Instagram photos are even better! He definitely captured the joy and emotion of the day by the look on everyone’s faces. The photos were creative, and took full advantage of the surroundings. I can’t wait to see the rest of the photos!

In short, I recommend him highly as a photographer, and would definitely hire him again!

A Photo Magician!

After getting a recommendation for Andy from a colleague, I decided to reach out as I didn't know where to begin for booking a wedding photographer. It took a couple of intro emails and a phone call for me to know Andy was the perfect photographer for our big day! He is by far the calmest, most intuitive professional I have ever met and so easy to work with. Throughout the day, Andy made sure we had our "must have" photos captured and also captured the most beautiful, unique and special photos. He was by our side throughout the day and didn't miss a single special moment. He has an incredible eye and will guide you to get the most amazing photos. His detail oriented approach is also incredible to observe. We received several photos from Andy in the immediate days that followed and we were absolutely blown away by the beauty of each photo. Andy may be one person - but you will truly get photos that a team of 10 couldn't capture as beautifully as he did.

The best in the business!

When my now-husband and I started the hunt for a wedding photographer, a colleague from my work recommended Andy, and a colleague of my husband had hired and highly recommended Andy as well. So, it seemed like fate! Their recommendations could not have been more appreciated, because our wedding experience would not have been the same without Andy. We shot our engagement photoshoot in Philly, from the middle of Broad Street to random alleyways to a beautiful bar. With it being our first photoshoot, we were unsure how it'd feel, but Andy made us feel comfortable and gave the perfect amount of guidance. Then, Covid hit and our wedding was postponed not once, but twice! Throughout the chaos, Andy was so flexible and understanding. During such a stressful time, we were so grateful to have Andy along for the ride and be so accommodating with our constant date changing. We had a Covid wedding in 2020, and the only people in attendance were six family members...and Andy! The photos were perfect in every way. When our "big" wedding day finally arrived, Andy was there from start to finish. He made myself and my husband feel like movie stars. Andy took tons of photos of us before our wedding ceremony, countless photos matching us up with different bridal party members and family members, and accommodated every photo request we threw at him. The only thing we are certain about for our future besides one day having children, is hiring Andy to take family photos. He is truly the best in the business and the kindest soul.

Amazing Work!

From the minute we saw his work, we knew we wanted Andy as our photographer. He is extremely talented, calm, and organized. We met with him once we booked and again before the ceremony. He laid out our entire structure and offered great advice for helping to keep us on schedule. We trusted him with a lot and are so glad we did. Choosing a wedding photographer is so difficult yet so important. Many couples aren’t aware that your photographer makes or breaks your day. Hire Andy!!! Working with him was an adventure and truly so much fun! He has the best sense of humor and makes you feel comfortable. We are blown away but his talent. He has an inherent eye for beauty, finding the light and capturing the moment. He’s the man if you want natural and timeless photos. All the other reviews said magazine quality photos, and seriously everyone that sees our photos thinks they are from a magazine. I can’t say enough amazing things about him. Absolutely perfect!

When I started searching for a photographer for our wedding, I had one thought constantly running through my mind – I didn’t want to look back at our wedding photos years from now and wonder if anyone had any fun! When I found Andy, his portfolio was filled with exactly the mix of traditional wedding photos and more playful and candid photos that I was looking for. Simply put, he can do both and he does both with the utmost skill. It would be impossible to complement Andy’s talent in a single review and his photos speak for themselves, but it’s also worth reminding anyone looking at Andy’s photos that even though his final product makes it look “easy”, it is indeed the exact opposite. My husband and I visited our wedding venue a few weeks before our March wedding when none of the trees were green and it looked very different than when we booked it one summer day many months ago. Seeing the venue that day made me worry that we were presenting Andy with an impossible task and may have made a mistake choosing to get married in March. My concerns were unwarranted – Andy’s eye and ability to capture awe inspiring photos no matter what the surroundings is truly remarkable. Andy sees things we could never see – and he sees them fast! Andy was consistently guiding my husband and I into the next photo and was sure to communicate throughout the day to make sure we were on schedule to capture any and all photos we had in mind. Last, but certainly not least, Andy is a pleasure to be around. He’s a professional who gets the job done and he gets it done with a smile on his face. I’ll look back on our wedding for years to come and think of Andy not just as our photographer, but also as a wonderful addition to our very special day.

Andy is the best wedding photographer in NJ... look no further!!!

If I could give Andy more stars I would... hiring him was by far the BEST decision we made!!! First, he is hilarious so if you're nervous that you'll be awkward when the light is all on you he will make you feel comfortable and at ease. We had a micro wedding at the beach in September and hope that we can have the big celebration next September, in which we can't wait to have Andy back to capture it all again. I literally can't stop looking at our wedding photos, they look as if they should go in a bridal magazine and that is all due to Andy's creative eye. All of our friends/family are obsessing over our photos. Andy did such a fantastic job!

Andy is phenomenal

Best decision we made in regards to our wedding was hiring Andy to do our pictures at the Liberty House! Andy was professional but fun. He made us laugh, let us relax and just be ourselves. It’s been 4 days since my wedding and I’ve already received previews from his Instagram and him directly. I was very nervous about only having one photographer because everyone I knew told me “with only one he will miss things”. Well Andy not only captured my husband seeing me for the first time, he captured my reaction AND my fathers reaction (who was 100 yards away). Talk about mind blown!!! He some how got 3 people’s reactions within seconds! And I’m not talking about 1 picture of each person, we have numerous. The pictures looked at in order literally tells the story of my first look. I don’t know how he did it because not once did I notice him during that special moment. That also is true for the rest of the night. Andy was everywhere but never underfoot! None of the pictures felt posed and forced. Everything felt so natural and fun. You might have a wedding planner or whatever but to be honest the photographer calls all the shots on your wedding day. You need someone like Andy who pays attention to detail, can work efficiently and work well with all types of people. On my way to the first look I got into the wrong Uber Black car. Andy went to bat for me to ask the driver to bring us anyway, which he didn’t have to do. We were running a little behind because of that but I never felt like Andy was rushing. He kept asking if I was ok or I wanted to go inside while taking our pictures or if I wanted his jacket if I was cold. He was literally going to give me the jacket off his back. If you hire Andy, you won’t regret it.

Andy is the absolute best!

We are so grateful that Andy shared his talent with us during the most epic celebration of our lives. They say your wedding day should be one of the most memorable days of your life, and for us that has certainly proven true. Priceless memories

It took one single picture for me to know that Andy Todes was the one who I wanted to photograph my wedding. When I was looking online at my venue, I was captivated by one of his tagged pictures and needed to find out more. The picture was absolutely stunning, and it felt as if the couple was frozen in time. As I looked at more of his pictures, I knew that he was not an ordinary photographer, but rather someone who captures the true essence of a wedding. His pictures went beyond the ordinary shots, and brought each aspect of the wedding to life. I continued to read his reviews, and learned that client after client raved about his professionalism, demeanor, humor and overall experience that he had created for them. I had strangers’ reviews and pictures that spoke to me and just went with gut, and hired Andy to be my photographer.
Out of all my wedding decisions, I would have to say it was one of the best ones I made. Andy is a truly remarkable person and outstanding photographer. Andy the day of my wedding effortlessly captured every single moment and some. His humorous and easy-going personality made taking pictures with him so much fun. He even made the family group shots painless as we were trying to gather everyone in one location. I spent more time with Andy then even the wedding attendant I was assigned, and I preferred it that way. Andy with his calm demeanor made me feel calm, and relaxed the entire day. I really felt as though I was hanging out with a long-time friend, and that is a testament to Andy.
As I look at my pictures and reminisce back to my wedding day the saying, a picture is worth a thousand words keeps resonating with me. Each picture Andy captured was able to tell the story of my wedding day. When I look at the picture of when my Dad walked me down the aisle, I can hear all over again what he whispered to me. In the picture of our first dance, I hear my husband and I laughing. Each photo helps make the days memories come to life and I know that in years to come they will continue to bring back pieces of our special day. Not all photographs are worth a thousand words, but every single one of Andy’s are.
I am forever grateful for Andy. For it was Andy who will help me preserve my memories of that day, and will enable me to always be able to relive one of the best days of my life. Thank you, Andy from the bottom of my heart.

He Makes Looking at Pictures my Happy Place

Why are you still hesitating? Hire Andy... My husband of 6 years and I budgeted half of Andy's fee for our photographer, but shifted the whole budget to fit him and it was by far the best decision we made outside of each other. He makes you feel what you felt that day by looking at the photos... somehow this is still the case years later. We recently hired him for our family photos (2 kids and 2 dogs later) and again, Andy captured what pure joy looks like. It's more about what our life looks on a random Tuesday, but only if we were somehow also magazine beautiful. Thank you means nothing compared to how grateful I am for having Andy to capture our lives. Here's to capturing the impetus of our family and here's to watching us grow in a beautiful, emotional, art form.

Spectacular!

Having Andy as our photographer was simply one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day. I could probably write a short novel on the positive experiences we had, but I will keep it brief, as Andy's photographs really do speak for themselves.
Andy helped our day run smoothly, was unobtrusive, and overall a complete pleasure to work with.

Do yourself the favor and HIRE ANDY.

I don't know how else to put this other than you would be making a foolish mistake not to hire Andy as your photographer. His calm energy and enthusiasm for getting the perfect shot never ceased to amaze us throughout the entire 12-hour day. He exceeded our expectations beyond imaginable and sincerely over delivered. WHEN you hire him--JUST GO WITH IT! On our day, we found ourselves running down 2nd street in Northern Liberties to catch the last rays of sun set when we found ourselves crunched together in an alley way (Andy's idea) -- and all he kept saying was "this is great, do you see that?!" ... and after we got those pictures back--boy did we see what he was talking about! He has an eye for capturing the most amazing colors and genuine, emotion-filled moments of the entire day, and after all was said and done he sent us countless photos THE NEXT DAY like rapid fire. We did not question a single thing he suggested that day because we truly just immediately felt at ease with his patience, confidence and professionalism. With all the other stressors and unpredictability of your wedding day, DO YOURSELF THE FAVOR and make him part of it--you will not regret it!!! Now we are just hoping for another excuse to work with him again!

The best!!

You’re a wizard, Andy! Andy was one of the best decisions that we made regarding our wedding. My husband and I never like pictures of ourselves, so we thought the photography piece of our wedding would be a challenge. After seeing Andy's work we knew that he was our guy. From the first time we contacted him to the end of the reception he was friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and a pleasure to work with. The day of the wedding he arrived early and got right to work. He was so patient with the bridal party, the freezing temperatures, and setting up the perfect shots. There were never any awkward poses and Andy's sense of humor really helped ease our nerves. The next day he was already posting pictures on Instagram. Look no further for a wedding photographer!

Andy is INCREDIBLE! With all the stress that goes into wedding planning, the last thing you should be worrying about is if your photographer is going to beautifully capture THE BEST DAY of your life. If you think about it, besides sealing the deal with your hunny, photography is arguably the most important part of your wedding because it's the only thing you have to hold onto after the day (which goes by scary fast...) is over. The day lasts 10 hours, but pictures last a lifetime! Let me tell you: if you pick Andy, you will NOT have to sweat a drop wondering if your pictures will perfectly capture your day! I am a planner, but I trusted Andy and let him do his thing all day, and our wedding album is fantastic (like, he somehow made 2 very average people look like movie stars over and over again). He adapts quickly, which is super important because unexpected things come up all day long (ie. weather changes, late family members, wedding coordinator shenanigans, etc.). He did not let anything get in the way of capturing beautiful, artistic, yet bona fide pictures of us and our guests, all while making sure to document even seemingly minute moments like guests' facial expressions and small details of the venue. Andy is super easy to work with (you'd be surprised at how egotistic and pushy some wedding photographers out there are...), humble, and does a great job of balancing his professional judgement with your requests. To top it off, his pricing is incredibly reasonable for the quality AND how many pictures he gives you. If you live in the greater New Jersey/New York/Philadelphia area, ANDY HAS TO BE YOUR WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER! Life is too short to plan an awesome wedding and hire an (at-best) mediocre wedding photographer. Give Andy a call, you will not regret it.

Andy is amazing!

A few couples we know enlisted Andy as their photographer for their wedding, and spoke very highly of him, so we felt confident in asking him to document ours. Immediately after contacting him, we were met with his professionalism. Immediately after he arrived on the day of our wedding, we were met with his eye for detail and easy going personality. All of these things made him a pleasure to work with. Personally speaking, I was nothing but nerves on my wedding day, and I can't thank Andy enough for reminding me to "breathe", and for bringing some calmness to what is otherwise a chaotic day. Our pictures turned out amazing, and one would think that they were taken by Andy and a team of ten people, considering there was such a large range which caught different backdrops, precious moments, and funny candids; but it was just Andy, doing what he does best!

Such Gratitude

All of these reviews are such a true testament to the amazing work Andy does. We were so grateful to have had a friend suggest Andy to photograph our special day. From the first phone call to the final photo Andy was nothing but exceptional. Andy has a type A personality with a laidback spirit. Andy brings out a confidence and ease that is reflected in his photos. He makes the environment work for his clients. I can’t even begin to adequately describe how great Andy is. From the first time we met him back in 2016, we were immediately impressed by how laid back, down to earth, and humble he was. After seeing his beautiful work, we knew he was the right photographer for us.

Fast forward to May 2018 during the rainiest week I’ve ever seen in my life, Andy arrived for our wedding day. Not only was he prompt, but he was so positive, optimistic, professional, and unobtrusive. What I loved most was that he really has this amazing presence about him that makes you feel so calm and relaxed - it’s an incredible gift. Given that, he made us feel so confident that despite the incessant rain, we’d get beautiful shots. Well “beautiful” was an understatement. The photos are INCREDIBLE. Every single one of them. We continue to get compliments on them all the time.

I can truly say that having Andy at our wedding was one of the best decisions we have ever made. I still tell people to this day that Andy was one of my favorite parts of my wedding day. He is a true talent in his field and anyone who has the privilege of working with him will certainly agree. Thanks for everything, Andy!

I am not even sure how to begin telling you how amazing Andy is! Firstly I cannot thank Andy enough for capturing our day so incredibly perfectly, I don't have the words to describe these photos. Looking at them truly brings me back to our day, I can feel the emotion in the pictures! Secondly I have received sooooooo many compliments on these photos. How beautiful they are and that they belong in magazines, and it is so true, all of his work belongs in every bridal magazine! My husband HATES photos, but Andy made it so easy for him and the entire wedding party to feel at ease. I honestly have not found a single photo where anyone looks cheesy or uncomfortable, everyone looks so natural. His photos have a lot of character and capture the fun and love you feel throughout the day. These photos are exciting to look at and he is sneaky at getting every shot with out you even knowing sometimes, which is just amazing. He fit in the moment he got there, joking and making everyone feel comfortable. He truly treated us like we are his only clients, even though he has so many. He does whatever he needs to, to make sure he gets the shot, while staying patient and calm and going with the flow. I will truly cherish these photos for a lifetime and am so grateful to have them. I could not have dreamt up a better photographer, and I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Booking Andy as our wedding photographer was the BEST decision, my husband and I made for our big day! We got married a few weeks ago, but we booked with Andy last fall. Once leaving his home my husband and I had no doubt in our mind that we had to have Andy shoot our wedding. Without hesitation the next morning I contacted Andy and booked him! Leading up to the wedding Andy helped us make a timeline for the day of, which was extremely helpful since he's the pro at this! We even talked about certain photos we would like him to capture as well. With all the stress of our day rapidly approaching just chatting with Andy calmed my nerves, because of his professionalism and answering all the questions I had. Like most brides the day of my wedding I was very nervous, and this may sound silly to some but once Andy arrived at my mothers house my nerves seemed to just go away. There is just something about Andy's presence and professionalism that made me feel at ease. I knew I was in good hands since he has done this so many times! Just watching him work and find the best places to take photos were honestly amazing. He would walk into different rooms and just know exactly what to do! He allowed us to be ourselves and made us feel very comfortable. We arrived at the venue early to get some photos out of the way. We knew getting married in August the heat would definitely be a factor, but Andy was so fast and knew exactly what shots to take and who to get involved in them. Things got a little hectic with trying to get everyone involved in all the photos we wanted, but Andy stayed calm and just did an amazing job keeping the two of us happy! I honestly could go on and on with every single minute we spent with Andy. There is no need for you to look any further for your wedding photographer. If you come across his page just do yourself a favor and book him! It will be the best decision you will make! Andy is truly and amazing photographer and even better person!

Andy was the most amazing photographer for our wedding at Liberty House! He made taking pictures feel fun and easy and it was such a pleasure to work with him. He is so creative and has the best ideas for how to capture the most special moments - from pulling a funky couch from the restaurant to use for our photos, to taking us outside for sunset to capture the incredible lighting, to making our friends and family feel so comfortable posing and taking pictures in the heat. Andy was able to capture shots that I didn't even know were possible to capture - he is so quick and pays such close attention to detail and emotion. His photos of our wedding literally blew me away - they are absolutely stunning, breathtaking, beautiful. I love how the colors in his photos are so vivid and bright. He is SO good at what he does and he was not only fantastic on our wedding day, but throughout the entire process planning and leading up to the wedding. His passion truly shines when he is taking pictures!!! His work is so impressive and his photos are beyond beautiful and the absolute best quality. I recommend Andy SO SO highly!!!!

Choosing Andy to be our wedding photographer was one of the best decisions I made for our wedding. It began when I saw a friend’s wedding photos a few years ago. I knew right then and there that their photographer was special, as his photos not only made my friends look like movie stars, but they captured their emotions so vividly. Flash forward a few years later, Andy was the first person I wrote to when I secured a wedding date. Take one look at the photos on his website and his ‘about’ and you’ll just instantly love his work and approach. His artistry, vision, and how much he cares about what he is doing is evident immediately. If you look at the way everyone is looking at the camera, you can just tell they really like the guy behind the camera!

We met with Andy a few months before the wedding and I instantly wanted to be his friend-- he was so warm and easy to talk to. When he arrived on my wedding day I was excited to see him and to get started. And wow, did he just go! We were fighting the sunset on a winter day, and the sun was coming through the trees and it was just ...click! click! click! Andy made sure we got many shots of the two of us, and then made sure we got every photo we wanted with family and wedding party before losing the light. He was on fire! It was so much fun, so easy, so joyous. And let me tell you…the pictures are beyond. I feel like he captured us so perfectly, the subtleties of our relationship, the love of the day. That continued into the ceremony photos and the action packed hilarious shots of everyone dancing. They’re all just brilliant and stunning! What he gave us – photos we will treasure forever—is just such an incredible gift, and working with him on this most important day was an absolute pleasure. I know our paths will cross again because so many of my friends and family will want to hire him to do their weddings. I can't recommend him enough.

I had the distinct pleasure of working with Andy twice before our wedding day. I was in the bridal party of two of my best friends who both used Andy as their photographer. I already knew his photos were gorgeous, but being able to get an inside look into Andy’s personality and how he works was what sold me on him.

Andy’s laid back nature and wicked sense of humor is exactly what every bride needs on her wedding day. He puts you at ease, but keeps things on schedule at the same time - no easy task. He made us laugh and smile (completely naturally!) the whole day. He takes chances and is spontaneous and creative so you don’t end up with run-of-the-mill, overly-posed wedding photos. Not everyone is used to having a million photos taken of them (I know I certainly wasn’t) and yet Andy didn’t make it feel like it was some over-produced photoshoot. We felt like we were all just hanging out (except, it was our wedding day!)

And the photos... I mean, COME ON. They are simply stunning, so filled with pure emotion and captured our day perfectly. They belong in magazines. They run the gamut from dreamy and ethereal to raw, almost gritty, emotion. The words I write here will never do them justice so please go have a look for yourself.

Andy sent us a few teaser photos from our first look and I swear to god it looks like he took the same picture from but two completely different angles. HOW DID HE DO IT?! The answer: he’s a ninja. A photog-ninja.

But in all seriousness, Andy is the real deal. His photos are stunning and the guy is seriously a blast to hang out with. Book him. Now.

I️ cannot express enough praise for the photography master/ninja that is Andrew Todes. He not only worked within our budget from the jump, but he was able to give us EXACTLY what we wanted and then some. Andy’s expert eye for an exquisite, sun rich, photo was beyond perfect. He was efficient and quick, but the shots he captured surpassed our expectations. One of the many many things that sets him apart from other photographers was his ability to essentially disappear during the ceremony while miraculously taking a few of our most favorite shots. I’ve never been so excited about wedding photos, and that's not just because they’re from our own wedding, but because of the attention to detail, mood, and personality Andy captures in each and every picture. We could not have asked for a more perfect photographer for our special day. Yes, he may be a ninja and a master photographer, but the man is a true artist and will be worth every. single. penny. Andy hands down was the best photographer I would of ever possibly selected to capture my wedding day. If you are on this site searching for a photographer- honestly call him. (Especially if you want to hear his lovely accent!) HE IS AMAZING. I loved working with him, he made my day feel effortless & captured it beautifully. My sister got married 4 months before me, and used a different photographer, after seeing my photos she honestly wanted to get her photos shot again by Andy. So instead of feeling that type of way- avoid it by just calling him first! I woke up the next morning with 3 photos he shot as a "teaser", it was such a delight and a surprise to have a look at what he shot so fast! Every bride wants to see a few, so it is nice that he understands that & tries his best to get you a few! You can tell he loves what he does. Andy navigated my entire party (Bridal party was 20 people) so elegantly and efficient by himself. Every single photo he took I want hung in my house, the only problem you will have with choosing Andy is deciding which photos to use in your book because you will WANT THEM ALL. Cannot rave about him enough. So thankful a friend referred me to him. I want to get married again & again just to work with Andy again.

Andy was a complete pleasure to work with! He was extremely professional throughout the process leading up to the wedding and made my husband and I feel very comfortable the day of. We never felt like he was hovering over us or getting in the way - like we often feel about photographers when we attend weddings. Our guests all commented on how great he was (both how hard working and how friendly he was to talk to). I would highly recommend Andy as a wedding photographer to any couple getting married!

Andy is amazing - he is incredibly talented and professional but also a lot of fun to work with, which is key on your wedding day. He was game to try anything, including scaling rocks and joining us on a midnight boat ride. He has an editorial eye so you end up with unique and high-end photos that could be straight out of a magazine, instead of just the traditional, slightly stiff looking wedding photos you often see. He has a keen sense of humor that comes out in his shots and adds an extra element of joy to those memories. Andy has an incredible way of making people comfortable and drawing out their genuine personalities and emotions, which I think is why I love our photos so much. They aren't full of frozen stares and awkward poses, which can be common for people like me who aren't that comfortable in front of a camera. Anyways, I would recommend Andy to anyone, you will not regret it.

Andy was the photographer at a friend's wedding I was in a couple of years ago.. and I knew I had to use him too! He arrived extra early to check out my venue, which shows just how dedicated he is. He took photos of my crazy wedding lists and me pumping, and that really captures what life has been like for me recently. I'll always be able to look back on that and smile. He allowed my friends to help him, listened to my mom complain (ha!), and dealt with some knucklehead groomsmen! Seriously though, I could not be happier that I chose him as my photographer. His work is magic. I'm blown away by every single picture I've seen so far. My husband would say, "Another photo is posted".. and I would come running in screaming with excitement!! I cannot wait to see the rest!
Andy, I knew you were amazing, but you were better than I ever could've imagined. You truly have a special gift, and you're a pleasure to be around! I'll be looking for excuses to use you in the future.

Where do I start!? I have been following Andys work for about three years now. The only thing I knew when we got engaged was that I absolutely HAD to have Andy as our photographer. I wouldn't book a date without confirming his availability (not a lie!). Andy was amazing from the moment I spoke with him. He worked with us to pick a location and date for our engagement photo shoot which was not easy given our busy schedules, but we got it done and the pictures are amazing!! The weather was not ideal but you would never know it looking at our photos. It made me even more excited to see what our wedding pictures would look like. Fast forward months later to the wedding and Andy was once again my saving grace. Anytime I started to get anxious about something he calmed my nerves and reassured me all was well. If you have ever met Andy you know he just has a relaxed way about him. He was everywhere we needed him to be but NEVER in our way. I never doubted for a second he would get every photo that would have such great meaning to us. I am in love with my photos. I went into this knowing my photos were of extreme importance to me and Andy has provided us with more than I could have ever expected. His work is beyond words. I am sad to think I won't see Andy anymore so for that reason alone we will have to plan an event for the future! Thank you so much Andy! You made this experience amazing!

When three out of three siblings in a family hire the same photographer, you know he's good! That's what happened in our family. We actually based our wedding date around Andy's availability because we wanted his talented eye to capture our special day. For a one man show, he does more work then a team of photographers. But the best part of Andy being your photographer is having him around on your wedding day. Your photographer is with you for most of your wedding day. Every wedding that I've been in with him photographing, he has created such a calm environment and he's just a pleasure to have around. And during your reception, you hardly even know he's there! Meanwhile he's capturing the best moments. We love Andy Todes and would recommend him to anyone!

I was a fan of Andy's work long before I was even engaged. He had photographed a couple family members' weddings and the beautiful moments that were captured by him instantly had me hooked. I was initially upset when we were looking at dates that Andy was not available. Easy fix...we changed our date to have him photograph it! I was not disappointed in this decision. In fact hiring him was one of the best decisions I made during my wedding planning. I still enjoy following his photography journey as his work is impeccable and captures some of the most beautiful moments in people's lives. Andy is by far the best photographer my husband and I ever worked with! He was a preferred vendor and personally suggested by our reception hall coordinator and we could not have been more pleased! Andy is so patient and easy-going, especially with mine and my husband's crazy huge Filipino family! His pictures are absolutely beautiful and he wants to show them, and you, off! He's easy to talk to and communicate with, and his suggestions and vision for your photographs of your big day will NOT disappoint. Your search for a photographer stops ends here! Andy is simply amazing. He is at the top of my list for any major or minor event I need photos for. Every shoot he does is unique. He captures "the moment" effortlessly. You would never know he is right in the middle of action. Very professional, knowledgable, personable, respectable, responsive and flexible. He shot my wedding in June 2014 . I still get compliments on our photos and my wedding party still talks about how funny he was and can't wait to use him for their own once they take that step in their lives. Excellent photographer. Even better person. We met Andy in 2011 at a wedding. Used him in 2013 and continue to stay in touch. Since then, at least six couples we know have worked with Andy for wedding or engagement shoots. Here are a few reasons why we recommend Andy to everyone we know (most people see our pictures and ask who the photographer was):

-Picture quality speaks for itself. If you want generic wedding pictures, you can probably pay less for a less experienced/less professional photographer. In particular, we liked his ideas and options for making our wedding pictures interesting, unique, and fun.

-Turn around time for pictures is unbelievably fast. You can expect to receive/enjoy some of the best shots during your honeymoon.

-He is very reasonably priced for the time/services provided.

-He has a strong presence/following on social media, and does a great job of presenting his clients after the wedding, as well as on random occasions. It is always a nice surprise to see Andy post a random pic from your wedding on occasion.

-Willing to travel to our wedding and reception locations. I recommend spending the extra money for the additional hour(s) of his time.

I contemplated giving Andy a 4/5 stars in one of the categories to make this review seem more believable to potential clients, but I really don't have anything negative to say about our experience with him. I guess on the con side, you will need to book him early as he is quite popular and has limited availability. Also, he has an Australian accent. So if you don't like Australian people, then he might not be the top choice for you.

The number one compliment I get about my wedding is the photos. Andy is a talented photographer who captures images that are beautiful and timeless. I don't know how he does it but he manages to capture colors and moments that speak more than any words that I could write. There are so many wonderful things to say about Andy and his photographs, but in the interest in time I will provide my top reason why Andy is a top notch photographer. He genuinely cares about his brides and grooms, and knows that each couple is unique. He works hard to get to know you, your family and your wedding day vision so he can deliver not only photographs that you love, but a tailored experience that is unmatched. I got married in October 2014 and I still talk about how our wedding day would have been hectic if Andy wasn't there. He acted not only as our photographer but as our time keeper, pep talker and comedic relief (when needed). Andy has photographed 4 weddings for my family and we truly trust him we our most special days! We also have not been disappointed with the pictures we received. Where to even begin! My husband and I used Andy for our engagement and wedding photos and we couldn't have asked for a better photographer! We had seen him in action at my sisters wedding and though we weren't even engaged yet, we knew there would be no one comparable to Andy when it came to planning our own wedding. His professionalism and funny personality kept me calm and constantly laughing throughout my wedding day. My son and daughter-in-laws wedding pictures were beautiful. Andy Todes was highly recommended and he did not disappoint. They say a picture is worth a thousand words. He captured the love in every picture. His photos were and are breathtaking. I would highybrecommend him.

I have been following Andy’s work for years before I ever even knew my groom. He shot an acquaintance’s wedding and I was obsessed with his photography ever since. I love that he plays with color and takes risks that you don’t often see in typical wedding photos. Once we got engaged, Andy was the first person we contacted. We knew we wanted Andy to photograph our wedding well before we knew our wedding date and venue! In all honesty, we picked our wedding venue and date according to Andy’s schedule. Fast-forward to our wedding day, and Andy lived up to all of our expectations! He was a dream to work with and everyone in our wedding party absolutely loved him. He was punctual, polite, and so much fun to work with. He didn’t get in the way of our ceremony like I have seen other wedding photographers do. I actually don’t even remember seeing him at our ceremony, but obviously he was there because we have such stunning pictures! He sends all of the photos on a USB drive- there are thousands! We are having trouble deciding which ones to frame and put in an album because they are all simply amazing. We can’t wait to work with Andy again!

I should probably start off by saying that I'm not, nor was I ever married. However, I did have the pleasure of being Maid of Honor to a beautiful bride who chose Andy as her photographer... and he was awesome. I know most, if not all of these reviews are done by brides and grooms, but from the perspective of someone who was able to stand by and watch their favorite person in the world get married, I thought my review was important. Andy was nothing short of amazing. Even if you weren't there to interact with him, you can see how absolutely STUNNING the photos are (and we've only see a few so far!). Andy was not only great with the happy couple, but the wedding party had so much fun during our little photo shoot as well. Andy is both kind and funny, while remaining very professional and focused. He has already made my best friend SO happy with the "sneak peek" photos that are ready, and I can't wait to see the rest! Thank you, Andy, for contributing to one of the best days of my best friend's life. Thanks to you, she will be able to look back on her wedding day for years to come, with a very large smile on her face!

We could not have asked for a better photographer! Andy is creative, energetic and incredibly talented. I fell in love with his pictures from one of my friend's wedding because of his unique eye and artistic edge on the pictures. He brought life to the mundane wedding photos and really captured the couple's personalities in pictures. I was in awe.
He came early to our location to scope out the scenery to find the perfect spots for our bridal party after our first look. He found an amazing white wall in our town that we never would have thought of it made our colors pop! He was accommodating and even respectfully helped speed my family along with pictures when I couldn't so I could go our cocktail hour! His calmness and obvious love for photography helped make the day that much better. He captured every picture I asked for and so much more. 100% recommend Andy to everyone! Loved him!

Andy was great to work with and his photos were beautiful. He really captured the fun of our wedding in a very elegant way. My husband is extremely camera shy, but Andy was able to take the pressure out of the formal shots with his easy going manner and efficiency. We hardly noticed Andy was there during our reception, but the photos showed that he captured every moment! Simply, Andy's work is just a cut above the rest.

Andy is one the BEST decisions we made throughout our wedding planning process. Our wedding day was extremely windy and most of our pictures were supposed to be taken outside. Andy stayed calm and somehow managed to get the most EPIC photographs of us while we were quite literally being blown away! It was almost as if the wind just enhanced the images, making them more stunning and dramatic. Andy worked so quickly and got through all of the family photos in such a speedy time. I felt so comfortable with him behind the camera and honestly just knew we were in good hands. If you are looking for an incredible, artistic visionary that will take unforgettable pictures of an unforgettable day in your life, for a really good price ( we compared and trust me on that one), don't hesitate. Book him before he is taken. Thank you Andy for all of your work and for the photographs that now hang on our wall to help us always remember that day.

Andy's incredible style speaks for itself and it's amazing. He really has a talent for catching the unscripted and unpredictable moments. What you won't know, until you meet him, is that he is the person you want with you ALL DAY on your wedding day. I didn't appreciate the amount of time I would spend with my photographer. He felt like a friend who was along for the ride, not someone who was tagging along because I asked him to. And that ease with which he becomes part of the group -coupled with his talent, of course- is precisely what allows him to capture the most precious moments. You won't regret having Andy by our side.

Andy has a way of capturing your day as it really is - no 2 couples get the same "typical" wedding photos. He is an expert at being inspired by the couple of the day! He captured the humor and joy of our wedding - the emotion jumps out of the photos. What's more, by the end he felt like part of our wedding party - he's funny, unassuming, and professional - which cannot be overstated as you spend as much time with your photographer as you do your new spouse!

Working with Andy was one of our favorite parts about our wedding! He was super easy going, extremely knowledgeable on the subject of photography and he really got to know our personalities and tailored the photos to our style. He told me the day of our wedding that we'd be receiving something really special (referring to our photographs) and boy was he not exaggerating. Our photos blew us away - they were so colorful and full of personality! He gives you a flash drive with all of your photos afterwards so they are yours to have and enjoy.

My best friend's sister used Andy for her wedding and ever since I saw her photos I was in love! I called Andy days after we were engaged and I was so happy when he was able to be our photographer! Andy is so talented! I trusted him 100% and let him do his thing! I did not feel like I had to say, "oh did you get that or did you get this", I knew Andy was going to capture our day in the most beautiful way, and that he did! I still get compliments (4 years later) on our wedding photos! I am so happy to see friends reaching out to him for pictures too! He is the best at what he does and truly cares about capturing the love not only between the Bride and Groom but everyone involved! It rained on our wedding day, more like a quick shower but Andy did not hesitate one bit and took us to 30th Street Station, where some of our favorite photos were taken! He didn't skip a beat! I can go on and on. I am truly grateful that Andy was our photographer. From calling for availability, capturing our day and delivering our photos, Andy went above and beyond. I highly recommend! Andy is an incredible and highly sought after professional with the incredible ability to make anyone feel like an old friend after knowing him for 5 minuets. I was devastated when we found out he was already booked for our wedding date (and even tried changing our wedding date to accommodate him) but Andy was super sweet and offered to take pics before or after if need be. I came up with a more creative solution and hired Andy for a boudoir shoot as a wedding gift for my husband. I brought along a friend (who obviously also hit it off with Andy immediately) and had the most fun day. Andy made me feel so comfortable and took the most stunning and tasteful pictures. The pics were supposed to be for my husband's eyes only but they are so good I cant resist showing all our friends! I cant wait to hire him for a shoot in the future again soon!

Where do I begin with Andy! We did a trash the dress shoot to celebrate our one year wedding anniversary with Andy and we absolutely loved how our pics came out. We did the shoot July 4th weekend in Cape May, NJ. It was a nasty day out, pouring rain all day. Andy left it up to us if we wanted to proceed with the pictures. We decided to go on and Andy, although making sure we were comfortable, took full advantage of the ocean and the weather. It was an amazing photo session. Our pics were so beautiful and gave us memories for a lifetime. Since that photo shoot, 3 other brides have followed in my footsteps and used Andy for their weddings. Amazing work for all of them. Andy is a very professional, creative, talented,and down to earth photographer that we will recommend to everyone looking for wedding or any life event pictures!

My fiance and I are thrilled to have Andy as our photographer. He was referred to us by a Photography instructor who raved about his skill set, and they were right! What drew me most to Andy's way of photography was the way he could transport a couple into a fantasy like setting, with the most vivid colors. We had our engagement session in New Hope, PA and I have to admit I was a little nervous prior to the shoot, but before we knew it, we were laughing and having a great time. Andy has a great way of making even the most nervous of brides feel very comfortable in front of the camera. After the engagement session was over, I was blown away by the pictures we received. The colors and love were bursting through the photos. He is absolutely wonderful and I cannot wait for him to shoot our wedding in Fall 2017. Book him now, you won't be disappointed!

Andy Todes was our photographer for our 2014 wedding and engagement photos.

Not only are his photos/work incredibly beautiful, but he's a class act to work with. He had worked with a family member before my husband and I got engaged, so I'd had the pleasure/luck of meeting him once before, and I'd made it known I'd want him for my wedding. The moment we announced we were tying the knot on social media, Andy messaged me to congratulate us - he was so genuinely excited for us and recalled things about meeting us, which only made the decision to book him even easier.

The engagement pictures were easily one of the MOST fun days I ever had. It felt so natural, and photos we got ranged from stunningly beautiful to VERY silly to very cheeky, and he was genuinely interested in them all. Throughout the process we stayed in touch and went over all the logistics of the wedding day.

On the day of, he was an incredible observer throughout, snapping a ton of "off guard" moments of myself, my hubby, the wedding party, and guests. The teaser album that went on Flickr a week later almost broke my Facebook with everyone's raving comments!

Overall - a class act guy with beautiful work! Would highly recommend!!

We loved having Andy as our photographer on our wedding day. It was raining which I was initially bummed about but after seeing the photos I was SO happy it rained-- the photos are unbelievable! He was calm, professional and tried to get all of the photos we wanted around town in a short amount of time. It was rather hectic that afternoon since I was a bride in denial about the rain moving my ceremony in doors at the last minute, but Andy rolled with the punches and took amazing shots. I knew I needed to hire Andy before I was even engaged! He shot my sister's wedding a few years ago and after seeing his photos, I knew we had to have him! After my husband and I were engaged, he was the first vendor we reached out to hire. We wanted to ensure that he had our date available. And, if he didn't, I would have probably changed the wedding date! Andy is professional, fun to work with, and makes you feel comfortable from start to finish. I have already seen some of the photos from our wedding and they are to die for. His style is not like the others and we have received numerous compliments from family and friends on how awesome our photos are! And, we have only seen a handful! ANDY is the best! He is a friend at this point because he has done my sister's wedding, my best friend's wedding, and now my wedding! We used him for engagement photos and for our wedding photos. The small sample of wedding photos we already got from Andy (the first one as early as the next morning!) are beyond our wildest dreams! He has such a talent for making people look effortless and beautiful. My husband and I spent time during our honeymoon on our phones checking out the pictures Andy was posting and we couldn't believe that was really us! Andy was incredible to work with, he was calm, cool and collected the entire day, which was so great! He is so creative with his pictures and truly listens to what my Husband and I wanted and didn't want when it came to pictures. He provided me over 250 pictures within just a few days and they truly came out amazing- people can't stop raving about them! Besides saying yes to my groom, I think hiring Andy is probably the best wedding decision I made! I will say, it was both incredibly easy and hard. Easy because one look at his work and I knew it was like nothing else I had seen, the colors and life he captured were unmatched by any other photographer I met (and there were a few!). Hard because I was very concerned about not having a second shooter. At the end of the day, I realized that I wouldn't miss what I didn't have and that the images Andy captured would make up for that 1,000-fold. Thank goodness I came to that conclusion because Andy is amazing. We did an engagement shoot and he completely indulged my vision for a camping themed shoot with our puppy and we adore the photos. We were both immediately comfortable with Andy and I went into the wedding day confident that he would capture the day perfectly. Now I haven't seen all our photos yet, just 20 or so preview shots (which he posted within 2 days of our wedding, the best) but every single one is frameable. I can't imagine how many wonderful things he captured and I cannot wait to find out. He was always responsive and extremely punctual. He showed up an hour early on our wedding day (and we had him booked for 10 hours!) and instead of waiting until his clock started, he immediately started shooting. He captured all of our decor and invitation suite before I even knew he was there! He also made a special trip out to our venue for me because it was new and I wanted him to see it ahead of time. Above and beyond! If you are scared, as I was, about the second shooter I urge you to still go with Andy. He will see things that no one else will and you will get more amazing photos from just him than two other photographers, I promise. He was an absolute pleasure on our wedding day and such a calming presence. I look forward to finding an occasion to hire Andy again.

Andy, hands down, was by far the best choice that I made for my wedding day. I could not be happier for the picture that he captured. 4 days after my wedding he already had hundreds of pictures for me and my husband to review. Just the preview of his work had us speechless. My husband and I didn't want run of the mill, vanilla photos - we wanted photos unlike anyone elses. His artistic and creative shots are second to none. EVERYONE compliments our pictures... They all have wedding photo envy after they see our photos.
This man is amazing. - Not only does he compose himself in a very professional manner and has an amazing talent for seeing the beauty of something at every angle, within less than a week he sends you hundreds of breathtaking (some are funny too) photos fully edited. Choosing Andrew Graham Todes to do our wedding photography was hands down the easiest and best decision that we made for our wedding. Before I even get to the absolutely stunning pictures that we now have to remember our day, it is imperative to take a moment to try to describe how wonderful of a person Andy was to work with. Not only is he a consummate professional, but his calming demeanor helped to make the entire day go more smoothly. It was so easy to trust his vision, and he has such an eye for color and for getting the best shot. It was like having a close friend with you on your special day, but oftentimes you didn’t even know that he was there! He was able to capture every moment of our wedding and kept everything so stress free and easy! Now on to the pictures – stunning and amazing doesn’t even begin to describe them. I literally cried when I saw our pictures. They absolutely blew our minds (and everyone else who has seen them) and exceeded our expectations. DO NOT look any further for a wedding photographer – he is the person that you want. I promise you, you will not regret it and there is no one better. We interviewed many photographers and we knew immediately after meeting Andy that he was the one. I found Andy through a website and went strictly with my gut and what I had seen of his portfolio on his website. We couldn't have been happier with our selection. Our wedding photographs are beautiful and artistic and not of the "norm." In fact, we have continued to use Andy for our annual summer family pic. We've been asked numerous times who our photographer is. He is professional and easy to work with and we've stayed in touch with him because we like him so much! Andy Todes is a phenomenal photographer. He captured so many moments at our wedding that when I looked through all my photos I relived my wedding day. Todes has an eye for color, background, and ideas that make your pictures even cooler! He will do the standard family photos, but Todes is extremely creative and it shines through in ALL of your pictures. His creativity while shooting is unbelievable. It is like his creative wheels are constantly turning! While taking photos he makes you feel extremely comfortable, never any awkward moments! For one person he can cover so much ground. He must have been all over during our reception because he did not miss a thing!
Todes also gives you the rights to your photos, which is great because we have made books, canvas prints and also reprints of photos. I know some photographers only allow you to choose a certain amount of pictures. Not Todes, you get EVERY picture.
Not only does Andy Todes have unbelievable skills in photography, but he is a super nice person. I was married almost 3 years ago and we still email every so often. It is so nice that a vendor we chose for our wedding became a friend!
I recommend him to anyone who is looking for a photographer. People still comment on how spectacular my photos are. I still go to his website and flickr page at least once a week because looking at his work makes me happy! I LOVE his photos even when they are not my wedding!

I became familiar with Andy Todes' work more than 8 years ago, long before my daughter even met her husband. Andy's work was and is so incredibly beautiful that I immediately told him "Someday, you will shoot my daughter's wedding. She's not even engaged yet, but you're definitely her photographer." BEST PHOTOGRAPHY DECISION EVER!! As always, Andy was a pleasure to work with, he almost literally bent over backwards to get the best possible shots, the photos were absolutely phenomenal... and did I mention that he was a pleasure to work with? Andy subsequently shot my daughter and son-in-law's pregnancy photos (not your typical pregnancy shoot!), and those photos are also exceptional in every way.

In my opinion, there is no other photographer who can compare with Andy in any way. He is simply the best, most talented, most professional and most courteous photographer there is, bar none! BOOK HIM FOR YOUR WEDDING!!

Andy is amazing. He went the extra mile for us throughout the entire wedding photography process. From the time we first discovered his photography style, we knew we wanted him to be our photographer for our wedding. He met with us and answered a gazillion questions. Closer to the wedding day, he was willing to make a drive over to the Jersey Shore to check out prime spots for photos and put us at ease. On our wedding day, we had an unexpected hiccup which threw our schedule completely off, and Andy went with the flow and helped us get as many gorgeous photos as we could. He was flexible and so helpful. As soon as we saw a few preview photos, we were in awe. They are perfect in every way. A year later, my husband gave me a wedding album as a gift, and Andy helped us build a custom album that we can't wait to show off at every opportunity.

I wish that I could put into words the talent that Andy possesses for using light and color to capture not just moments, but every emotion that is felt in those moments. His artistic eye takes advantage of opportunities like brightly colored surroundings and unexpected mixes of style and fun. While his extraordinary work speaks for itself, his calm, cool demeanor will keep your mind at ease on your big day. From our first meeting with Andy to discuss options, we knew we were in an incredible pair of hands, both literally and figuratively. He not only listened to our vision, but then managed to make it a reality and beyond! He was able to stealthily catch the most intimate moments of our day... Many of our guests even asked us if we had hired a photographer, which speaks to how "invisible" he was. When we got our photos back, seemingly in record time, during the holiday season no less, we were floored, to say the least! Andy Todes may be the only photographer in the world who incites not only women, but also men, to go gaga over wedding photos. Within a day of my wedding, Andy released a handful of fantastically gorgeous photos on Facebook and immediately, every groomsman had made one of the photos his profile picture. I had male colleagues calling my office and marveling at how my wedding photos belonged in Vogue or GQ. It goes without saying that every female friend and family member I have adore the photos as well and are leaping to hire or recommend Andy. Andy's shots not only belong aside Leibovitz and Testino, but he is a joy to work with; his presence is unobtrusive and his direction unsaccharine. Andy's creativity, worldliness, and intelligence show through in his work (both shooting and editing). I feared hiring a wedding photographer that would resort to clichés and depict my wedding like a TLC show, but with Andy, fearing mediocrity is simply a waste of time. I cannot wait to hire Andy for future occasions.

There aren't enough accolades for Andy Todes. We had a short (3 month) planning window for our wedding, so we didn't have time to research and interview many vendors. Andy was recommended to me (thanking my lucky stars) and I checked out his website, convinced he shot models and did print work for magazines...nope! These were all "real" couples and their "real" weddings. One short meeting, I knew we had to hire him. Andy is so down-to-earth and easy to work with- I can't even put it into words but he had a natural way of putting us at ease (we're both kinda camera-shy). Never in a million years would I have thought we'd end up with photos like we have from our wedding day. I'm convinced Andy is a magician. His work is magical. He is an ordinary person with an extraordinary talent. We are beyond happy with our experience in working with him and the amazing photos he took to document the true joy felt and the fun we had at our wedding. We even had him shoot our newborn baby about 10 months after we tied the knot:)

I fell in love with Andy's work before I even knew my husband and once I had The Ring on my finger we quickly booked a date so I could contact Andy to shoot our wedding; there was no second choice. We had nothing but positive experiences throughout the whole process with Andy; I appreciated his casual, laid back approach and was blown away by the way he was able to capture our wedding day - the pictures speak for themselves. He was completely open to our suggestions and was able to catch special moments in a very unique way. I have already and will continue to recommend Andy to anyone who is looking for a photographer and intend on using him in the not so distant future, as our family expands :) The only problem that I have is trying to decide how to display so many wonderful photos in a way that will do them justice.

Aside from deciding to marry each other, choosing Andy as our photographer is the best wedding decision that George and I made. It has been almost 4 years since our wedding, and we PROUDLY display just a few of our many favorite Todes photographs. Every now and then, I just look through them ALL and relax. Andy captured our day with class, skill and INCREDIBLE talent.
Andy got amazing photos of the ceremony despite an overly invasive videographer, brilliant dance photos from the dance floor despite the partying crowd, and managed to capture all of the most touching moments from the day. Andy was a very calm and gentle presence during the entire day. Who knew I could count on my photographer to help ease my stress on the big day?
Looking through the photos, I feel like Andy must have split himself into an entire team. If you're leaning towards a photography team, DON'T. Andy knows where to be and when. He's like the Sherlock Holmes of photography. The man just doesn't miss a detail. To him, it's elementary.
We were so very pleased with Andy's art that we asked him to take our maternity photos almost two years later, and BOOM- he created another album of masterpieces.
I just love everything he does, and strongly recommend him to all friends and family. In fact, after seeing his photos of our wedding, many friends and family have hired him for their events with very happy results.
After our wedding, to our delight, Andy's gorgeous photos of us were featured in newspapers and magazines. How cool is THAT?!

Andy, we'll have to plan an anniversary shoot! You're the best!

Words cannot even describe how much I am in love with our wedding photos thus far. Andy Todes is such an amazing person and photographer. I was planning my wedding when I found out I was pregnant. Needless to say, I needed vendors who were easy to work with, easy to contact, and completely willing to go with the flow since now there would be a 5 month old at the wedding. I also needed someone who would get us amazing pictures. Andy fulfilled all these needs and more. Our pictures are fantastic and the day went completely smoothly even though I gave Andy very little direction. Our families and wedding party loved working with him. Turnaround on the pictures was fast and we have thousands still to look through. We would definitely recommend Andrew Todes Photography .

Currently, Andy is my favorite person in the world (ok, maybe second favorite - after my new husband). He captured seconds, minutes and moments from the day that could have easily been overlooked in the hustle and bustle of things. His use of color turns photos into true artwork and his lens sees humor, love, happiness and a little sass. I wavered on a lot of choices for my wedding, but choosing Andy as our photographer was always one choice I felt confident in. He was professional, responsible, friendly and genuine. We give the highest recommendation for Andy Todes. Andy's photography is just absolutely gorgeous; in our opinion, his wedding photos are in a category of their own. Andy literally works magic with light, color, and editing. He instinctively knows which shots will be incredible.
Andy was so easy to work with -- he was fun, humorous, and helpful. He made us feel very relaxed, which definitely contributed to better wedding photos. Most of the day, we didn't notice he was there or that we were being photographed. He was always responsive and easy to keep in contact with.
Andy is an excellent value. Almost every single one of the 3300+ photos we got back is meaningful to us. So many are candid shots of our guests having fun -- moments we would have missed if not for his photos. Truly, looking through his photos is like watching a video of our day. Not only do these photos capture our emotions perfectly, but they capture those of our family and friends, which is invaluable.

We feel incredibly grateful that friends of ours used Andy to shoot their wedding a few years back and ever since then, we knew that once we were engaged, we would be sure to book our wedding around Andy's availability. Once we found the venue and a date, before we left a deposit, we confirmed Andy for that date. If he had not been available, we would have picked a different day. Andy is THAT talented. His work is breathtaking, he is not intrusive and he will capture the magic of the day in a way that is unique and in a style that we are yet to see any other wedding photographer accomplish. He is a wonderful person, kind and easy to deal with. He makes the wedding day completely stress free and you can have peace of mind knowing your photos are absolutely going to be beautiful. We keep looking through the photos of our wedding over and over again and thank our lucky stars we knew to hire Andy. Having Andy Todes as my photographer was the best decision My husband and I made when planning our wedding. He was professional, fun, creative, and so easy to work with. The pictures I got back surpassed anything I could have imagined. They were absolutely beautiful. My only problem was having to choose which pictures to put in the album!

Hiring Andy as my photographer was easily the best decision I had made for my wedding. We had the amazing opportunity to use Andy for our special day. We decided to scale back on the wedding but refused to spare no cost on the photography. Andy was early, eager, and waiting in anticipation for us to arrive at the airfield. He immediately made us feel welcome and comfortable the minute we stepped out of our car and asked us what we envisioned for the shoot right off the bat. That day we stood on the wings of a World War II airplane, climbed into the cockpits of military helicopters, and made many memories that we will never forget. Andy told us we had a lot of luck on our side that day, having him there capturing us so freely and happy was one of the best moments of our lives. His cost was very affordable, and his turnaround time well exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend Andy, you won't be let down!

Andrew Graham Todes Photography is absolutely outstanding. Out of all the wedding vendors we used for our wedding Andy is ALWAYS the first we recommend to others. We were very particular about our photographer and wanted a photojournalist approach. Wedding pictures last forever and Andy's talent to capture the day, the emotions and the energy allows you to relive your wedding each time you look at his photos. You can tell from his portfolio that photography is not a business for Andy it's a passion. He has the ability to use his creativity and find the most amazing settings for your pictures. Places and things you would never think of make your pictures look like they belong in a wedding magazine.

Every time someone walks into our house and sees our wedding pictures they stop to look at the photos on the wall and compliment his work. The way he uses the light and is able to make the colors pop out of the pictures is phenomenal.

Andy was an absolute pleasure to work with and makes you feel completely comfortable on your wedding day, which in all the chaos of the day, you need that ease. He has a fly on the wall technique which is so appreciated on your wedding day and the candid shots are so genuine. We were truly honored to have worked with such talent and I highly recommend him- I promise you will be so happy and thankful!

When it was time for us to select our photographer the first and only call I made was to Andy Todes. I saw photos he had taken at a friends wedding and I was blown away. We selected Andy for his ability to capture the energy and emotion of the moment in a photo--but we ended up getting so much more. When I look back at our wedding photos its like I am transported back in time to each moment. The life and love that is captured in his work due to his unique (fly on the wall) style is pure talent.

A few other important notes about Andrew Todes Photography outside of the amazing photos. Andy is a professional and that was important to us. He is responsive, does what he says he is going to do and is upfront and easy to work with. He answered my questions, was clear about planning for the day and delivered on his word. During such an important and stressful event as our wedding I couldn't have asked for more.

If you are looking for a wedding photographer (or photographer for any other event) look no further. Andy has the ability to capture candid, genuine moments throughout your entire day, and his photos truly images reflect your personalities as a couple. From getting ready, to the ceremony, to a packed dance floor, he gets it all. For a person that did not use a videographer, I feel that I can look back on my photos and relive each moment of our special day--that is not something you get with just anyone.

The quality of photos are beyond amazing and you will find no photographer that is better in the Northeast. His use of color and the creativity he finds in the simplest or most artistic settings is out of this world. Just look through his portfolio of photos and his work speaks for itself.

Not only are the quality of the photos outstanding, he kept us, our entire family, and wedding party at ease even with hours of shooting. We had so much FUN shooting with Andy--his sense of humor will have you relaxed and laughing all day long.

I highly recommend going with Andy--as I look through my photographs, I realize how much he went above and beyond our expectations of what a wedding photographer could do. If you don't go with him, simply put: you are a fool. :)
