Made herself always available, and if not, she would let us know when she was. The professionalism and organization were top-tier. Andrea and her team were wonderful. I worked with Andrea to plan a full wedding weekend, inclusive of bridal luncheon, rehearsal dinner, welcome party, ceremony and reception at the Homestead in Hot Springs, VA. She was hands-on for the entire process, beginning in March of 2025 through to our wedding in May of 2026. We could not have done this without her assistance, guidance, and attention to detail. Andrea is a no-brainer and any couple would be lucky to work with her! -

Working with Andrea and her team was incredible. As a bride, I had few strong convictions on things and was a little less wedding-savvy going in. Andrea made a great partner in that she led me and my mom through all the decisions and trade-offs for different options while also keeping things moving and organized. Additionally, we used some vendors off of her vendor list who were also great. During the day, her team was also indispensible. My MOH broke her shoe. I texted Andrea and a member of her team appeared shortly with glue to fix it. This is just one example of many of how her team took on so much of our stress. Throughout the wedding weekend, people remarked on how calm I seemed. The source of that calmness was my knowledge and trust that Andrea had worked hard alongside us to get everything ready to this point and that during the day of the wedding she would be there to deal with any unforseen things and keep other vendors on track. All in all, choosing Andrea was the best choice we made. -

Professionalism, perfection and present. These explain the services from Andrea and her team. The organization and execution of my daughter‘s wedding was absolutely flawless. Every aspect of the wedding went perfectly. Not one thing went wrong. I have never heard or been to a wedding when something, even minor, didn’t go wrong. But truly in our event, everything went exactly according to plan. The perfection was not a random event. It was the result of the excellent organization and planning and presence of Andrea and her staff during every step of the wedding. Andrea and her team are truly dedicated to making your special day a memorable success. I hate to set the bar this high, but Andrea Ferris Events is the pinnacle of wedding planning and execution! -

We used Andrea and her Team as our "month-of" planners for our Roanoke wedding in June, and had an amazing experience! Andrea made it super easy to plan our wedding from out-of-state, accommodating meetings for whenever we were planning to be in town, and meeting with us over the phone and video chat when needed. She takes all the stress out of vendor coordination by handling all communication, making sure vendors have what they need and relaying all our wishes to them. She prioritized all the details and aspects of the big day that were most important to us and worked hard to make our vision become reality! Cannot recommend AFE enough! -

Andrea helped to plan our wedding in April of this year and we could not have asked for a better experience. Andrea was extremely organized, detailed, proactive, and responsive throughout the entire process. She developed a timeline of when we needed to have each vendor secured by, helped us to track against our budget, and made sure we thought of every little detail for our big day. Things that we didn't even consider as needed to be decided, Andrea made sure we were squared away for the wedding day well in advance. We never felt rushed during the process, nor did we feel like we had to make decisions without a guiding hand. Andrea was extremely helpful in reaching out to vendors, reviewing contracts, and finalizing details and we cannot thank her enough for her excellent work and dedication to serving her clients, she truly made our wedding special!! Would highly recommend her for anyone looking for an event planner. -

Could not imagine a wedding with Andrea Ferris Events coordinating !
As the mother of the bride, I just wanted to enjoy my daughters special day without having to do any of the work to make the day perfect. When looking for a wedding coordinator we were recommended to talk with AFE and since our first meeting, we knew she was the perfect choice. She is so organized, friendly and helpful. Choosing Andrea Ferris Events for our wedding was one of the best choices we made for our wedding! Actually, I’d venture to say it was the best choice for us. Planning and thinking of all the fine details was made so much easier with Andrea’s knowledge and guidance! Full Wedding Planner
Andrea was the best wedding planner my (now) husband and I could have imagined! We started planning for our family farm wedding over a year out, and she kept us on track the whole time. On the day of, she was extremely attentive to both the bride and groom and made us feel at ease. It was an outside wedding on the day of a nasty storm (Ophelia, to be specific) and she hustled to make the day perfect without us having to lift a finger or even worry. We would HIGHLY recommend Andrea to anyone looking for a wedding planner. -

10/10 Excellent experience
AFE full service was the best decision we made for our wedding. Andrea was organized, knowledgeable, professional, and timely throughout our planning process. She significantly decreased our stress level by simplifying decision making. She has great relationships with the best vendors and our team was incredible. She was responsive and patient every step of the way and communicated clearly, while also taking into account our hectic schedule with both working full time jobs and buying a house. Not only was she professional and organized but she was fun and made the whole process enjoyable. I cannot say enough positive things about Andrea and AFE and would never want to do this without them!
Andra coordinated our day of and exemplified all of the same qualities listed above. She was a calming presence that was very attentive to our needs and organized, keeping everyone on track. She was on top of all of the behind the scenes and we did not have to worry about a thing. She did an excellent job. -

I would recommend Andrea to anyone and everyone! As someone who works in the event industry myself, I personally recommend AFE to brides myself, so when it was my time to hire my own coordinator it was easy decision. Andrea knows her stuff, is quick to respond, answer your calls when you're panicking, and will make sure your big day is as perfect as possible. You will not regret hiring AFE! -

AFE was the best money I could have spent on my wedding. From the moment of our first consultation, the entire process was stress free. Even with a possible hurricane forecasted to hit our outdoor wedding, she worked endlessly to provide three possible plans depending on the weather. I looked through several different profiles of Wedding Event Coordinators before finding Andrea. She is worth every. single. penny. She is honest if she thinks something will or won't work, but will also work to make sure it's 100 percent what you want. She is extremely communicative and responsive. She is reliable - when she says she is going to do something, she does it! Everything went so smoothly on our wedding day I would have been lost without her!

Absolutely amazing!
Andrea is so amazing! She made sure every part of our day looked perfect as well as constantly checking in on me and my husband throughout the day. One small detail I am so grateful for is that she made sure that my husband and I ate. There was not a single thing I had to worry about on our big day. I can’t express enough how incredible she is. Andrea took on a monumental task of helping my husband and I travel to a remote area in Northern Spain to elope. As a professional photographer myself, I was very picky with what I wanted and she knocked our socks off finding us a great match who was incredible AND suitable for our budget. The entire international planning process was quite in depth but Andrea went above and beyond investigating all our needs and bringing us great options. After we returned to the US, we hosted a BBQ for friends and family and she handled all of our catering and budget needs, while still making sure it was a warm and welcoming experience. No matter what came up, (like strong winds on the day of the BBQ!) Andrea handled every situation with grace and had an excellent sense of order and calm. Both were such successes we wish we could do them all over again! -

Thank goodness my sister got married first, because she was the guinea pig, and we decided we could have an ~organized family friend~ help us handle coordinating everything on her wedding day. We were wrong. It was still a beautiful day, but it was more stressful than it needed to be. Like forgot-transportation-for-the-bride-to-the-church stressful.
We had meetings with 3-4 coordinators a few months into my wedding planning adventure. I have a background in art, graphic design, etc., so I had a pretty clear picture of how I wanted the day to go and did a lot of projects DIY, but I knew I needed someone to help keep track of everything, keep us on time, remember all little details and keep me sane.
After our first meeting, my mom and I were sold on Andrea with AFE. She was smart, confident and approachable and seemed on top of it. You could tell she had been in the planning business a long time. Andrea helped every step of the way, even though Erin, one of her team members, would ultimately be there with us on the day of. The timeline she put together for us (after many back and forths where she was VERY patient with us) was so instrumental in ensuring the day ran smoothly. She corralled all my many vendors, so I could focus on executing the last minute little details and not worry about hunting down bus drivers.
Erin was just as capable and a such a help on the day of the wedding. We had a lot of moving parts and pieces -- individually-stamped macarons for each guest with tiny cake stands, hundreds of bud vases that needed to be placed and filled, 150+ seating chart plant markers that needed to be planted in our planter boxes, etc.
During the reception, she was a quiet sense of calm, asking if she could get us drinks throughout the night, packing up all the gifts and cards into our car, so we didn't have to do it ourselves, etc. Just knowing that she was there, directing us, made everything run smoothly.
If you are on the fence about hiring a planner, I can assure you, it is worth it. It is a small investment for what you get, on a very important day. It's worth it, so you don't forget simple syrup, special glasses for toasting, transportation for the bridal party(!), items for detail shots, a cake cutter, and more. But most importantly, it allows you (and your parents or siblings or MOH) to relax and enjoy what the day is all about.

Andrea was wonderful. She answered every question before the wedding and calmed my nerves repeatedly. She offered very good advice on many topics and diplomatically resolved some tricky family issues. She communicated numerous times with the vendors and kept them in line. The ceremony and reception ran very very smoothly. Many guests said it was the best wedding they had ever attended. Andrea is the BEST! -

Andrea was recommended to us by our venue (The Taubman Museum of Art) She was the “dot your i and cross your t ) , the gap girl and the CEO of everything wedding! She was calm, cool and collected from the beginning to the clean up, load up end of everything! She enabled all of us (Bride and Groom, family, and wedding party) to relax and enjoy! Incredible Experience
Andrea's level of service was exceptional! From the first day we contacted her she was quick to respond and very detailed oriented. I was never overwhelmed as Andrea took on all the day of planning. She even gathered important information for us (Executive order - Stay at home order, information around social distancing, limit on guests, impact it had on our ceremony and photography etc) as our special day happened during COVID. She was in constant contact with all our vendors, given the fact that with every day, requirements changed. She took on all changes with a positive attitude and was extremely helpful through it all. She went above and beyond my expectations and I can't have imagined going ahead with our wedding without her help! -

I had been debating on whether the need for a day-of coordinator was necessary. As a planner myself, I had a hard time "letting go" and allowing someone else to take the reins on my big day. Upon our first exploratory call, I trusted that Andrea was the right person to pass those reins onto. She was so polished, buttoned up, and professional from that initial call, all the way through the final invoice. She took all my planning and was able to execute on my final vision so that I could take the time on the actual day to truly enjoy the experience of the wedding without the worry that the candles wouldn't get on the tables, or that the timing of the speeches didn't get out of whack. I definitely didn't look back once hiring Andrea, and I'm so grateful for her help and hard work to make my wedding day come to life exactly how I hoped. -

I cannot recommend Andrea enough to help you get through one of the most meaningful days of your life!
She is extraordinarly organized and professional, but super easy to work with.
She was amazing at coordinating between myself and my groom and our vendors. She made gentle suggestions when I was confused about one thing or another, without ever being pushy.
The day of our wedding, she showed up a little earlier than her scheduled arrival time and calmly managed me, the wedding party, and all the vendors while keeping us all stuck to the very efficient timeline she had created for us.
She accompanied me and my son on our walk to the aisle and held the train of my dress and even fluffed it before I stepped onto the aisle to meet my groom.
After the ceremony, she directed guests where to go, she carried decorations that were to be repurposed for the reception.
Andrea is AMAZING and I can promise that you will not be disappointed in her or the services she offers!
I can without a doubt say that our day would not have went as smoothly without her! ❤ -
