I absolutely loved how my hair and makeup looked for my beach wedding! From the start, Andrea responded to all of my emails in a timely manner and made sure every request was met! On the day of my wedding, Andrea’s team came right on time to my hotel and listened to what each of my bridesmaids wanted. We all looked great, even after the reception was over! I felt so gorgeous for my wedding and highly recommend Andrea Bounds for your hair and makeup! -

The girls who did my hair/makeup trial and day of services are both very sweet. They dealt with me being late to my trial (I’m not from the area and got lost) and then was also late day of to my venue and while I’m sure both times were annoying they were very professional about it. My makeup and hair looked great even still at the end of the night (after 12 hours, pic included) -

These girls were amazing. So amazing that my MOH is thinking of flying them out of state for her wedding next year! They nailed every look we asked for and did it in a timely manor. I have zero complaints or critics. They were the best choice I could’ve made for hair/makeup. -

Andrea and her team did a fab job on makeup and hair. Everyone looked stunning! They were able to style everyone's hair as they wanted with no problem. Lashes even looked beautiful. I got extensions for an extra charge but false lashes even come with makeup! Book her now. Thank you Andrea -

Andrea Bounds was recommended by pretty much every single venue we visited in the area, so I knew we needed to have her team be a part of our big day. Andrea was incredibly responsive throughout the planning process. I highly recommend the bride do a hair + makeup trial to not only meet your day-of stylists but also get a better sense of what 'look' you're going for, especially if you don't typically wear a ton of makeup or get your hair done often. Jess and Sarah were awesome resources in finalizing my look at my trial, and they both really blew it out of the park day-of. My mom, mother and law, and bridesmaids all looked incredible and were super happy with their hair and makeup, plus we all had a blast hanging out all morning!! Highly recommend! -

Andrea did such a great job!
I struggled when I was picking someone for my hair and makeup. I got married in Dewey, and it was challenging to find someone or a salon nearby that was reasonably priced but also able to show some work they'd done to prove they were worth that cost. I also contacted many places without hearing back, which was super frustrating.
I didn't have any of those problems with Andrea. She answered all of my emails immediately, even when I took over a month to follow-up because I was contacting other places. No where else was as easily accessible, accommodating, or provided even close to the same level of professionalism and quality of work (she has a fabulous "look book"!). I knew I picked the right person when I went in for my trial (although at that point it would have been far too late to change my mind). I didn't really give a lot of direction - I'm not much of a makeup person normally and I only had a couple of Pinterest pictures for hair inspiration. But Andrea took all of it and rolled with it. My makeup looked fantastic and photographed perfectly, which is soooo important for a wedding. My hair looked great and barely fell out all night (and it was my fault when it did - it got stuck in my dress!).
In addition, Andrea and her assistant were a lot of fun when they were at my hotel room getting myself and my girls ready. As you can imagine, the conversation tended to get inappropriate, but they rolled with everything. We had a lot of fun with them, we all looked amazing, and I truly appreciated knowing when I signed the contract that it was one less thing I was going to have to worry about, that it would be worth the investment. She certainly wasn't the cheapest hair/makeup I could have chosen, but sometimes you get what you pay for and there's no redoing your perfect wedding day, and mine turned out perfect. -

Andrea was an absolute star to have as my hair and makeup artist for my wedding. I didn’t have a chance to have a hair or makeup trial because I was coming from out of state and she worked with me during the day of to have a perfect look for me and my two bridesmaids and my mom! The look lasted all evening for a beach wedding in Fenwick Island, DE through gusty winds. She was professional and upbeat during the whole appointment and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Thank you so much for making my day special! Highly recommended!! -

Andrea and her team are amazing! They were punctual, stayed on time, and were able to give me exactly what I wanted for my wedding day. I even changed my hairstyle the day of and it looked fantastic. I was thrilled with how all my bridesmaid's hair and make up turned out. More importantly, my make up and hair lasted all day and night. I felt so beautiful on my wedding day (my husband cried- mission accomplished)! -

She provided my family and me with many different services leading up to my wedding that were all seriously top notch. We got our teeth whitened, spray tans, engagement make up and hair, trial runs, the whole nine yards! She was so fun to work with and is amazingly talented! Everyone who got their hair and make-up done by Andrea and her team for the wedding looked flawless (photo credit: Dana Marie Photography). The team was also on time and got us all ready WAY ahead of schedule, which is amazing in itself. There is nothing better than knowing you and everyone else are ready to go when it is your big day. I plan on continuing to go to Andrea in the future, and I would highly recommend her to everyone!! -

Kaitlin Sent on 09/28/2016Andrea is AMAZING!!! it all started at Lighthouse Sound Bridal Show first week in January, I was 2 months engaged and started looking for vendors. She was there and her set up looked professional, and she was very friendly. I contacted her with general questions, concerns, etc. She was prompt and answered all of my questions. I had never had professional makeup, especially airbrush, so I got to book a trial in January before my engagement photos. LOVED IT! Loved it so much my mom then came in and got hers done a couple times throughout the year. I then came back in July for another trial, since now I was tan and had a different complexion, and it was two months until my wedding. She did my wedding look as well as, it was also makeup for my boudoir photo shoot later that day. once again it was PERFECTION. I got airbrush makeup and eyelashes put on, she made me look pretty yet still managed to keep it natural. I finally had her on my wedding day 9-10-16. She came to the beach house we all were getting ready at , which was very accommodating, and for the third time made me look absolutely stunning, and my mother , mother in law, and any bridesmaid who wanted their makeup done! From traditional makeup to airbrush, to touch ups, to eyelashes, she can do it all. We all looked so amazingly beautiful. I was just in awe, how great she is!!! I am very lucky to have met her, and kept a connection with her as friends through social media. If anyone ever asks me about makeup, I would never hesitate but to HIGHLY recommend Andrea, and for any future occasions for myself , she will be on speed dial! Love her and her work!!! -

She is so much fun and upbeat and made the morning fun. I would recommend her for any brides on the Eastern Shore. -

This review has nothing to do with Andrea’s subcontractors but everything to do with Andrea. First of all, she does not abide by her contract and will threaten you with “texts from her lawyer” if you dare to challenge her. Secondly, she’s unresponsive, and decided to finally call me back the day before my wedding despite several attempts by myself and my bridesmaid to get in touch with her. We had two girls decide to not want hair services after full payment and respectfully requested a refund before those services were administered. Andrea claimed her contract says she couldn’t give us a refund, (after incorrectly telling me what it said - she said the wrong number of days on the phone so she clearly doesn’t even read her own contract) and her contract does NOT preclude the client from being entitled to a refund for a downward adjustment in services, only if the client cancels, which I did not. She then changed her story and claimed she wouldn’t refund me because she (independently) decided that 10 services in 3 hours needed two stylists and the reduction to 8 services would’ve rendered her second stylist as wasteful. Not only is that ridiculous, but the two did not complete all 8 services on time, throwing off my MUA schedule (likely because they didn’t come early to set up) and we were late to the venue. Andrea was combative, incredibly rude, and quite literally unlawful against her own contract. I would’ve paid double to give my business to a good and decent person, but unfortunately went with her. If you want decent hair, her subcontractors were great and very nice girls. But hopefully you don’t run into any financial or legal concerns with her because she has no honor or respect for her clients. It would’ve been easier to just refund me the money and abide by her contract than fight with me and supposedly call/text her lawyer (which I can’t even confirm) the DAY before my wedding.
