This venue is AMAZING! We got married in August 2021 at the Main Lodge. We were able to stay two nights, which allowed us more time with friends and family and the flexibility to decorate and rehearse! There are so many options within the site to use (ceremony circle, patios, inside dining area, pavilion, and conference room) and also came with a lot of amenities included (chairs, plates/cutlery, built in bar, sauna, etc.) There are many options for camping/RV, and inside lodging that most of our guests were able to stay all weekend with us! The Main Lodge is so beautiful, that you don't need many decorations! Arvid, Vikki and Richard were AMAZING to work with! Booking Anderson Lodge was the best decision we made!

This venue was amazing!! All of our guests were blown away by the beauty of the venue and the different areas to enjoy, from the ceremony site views, wooded areas for photographs, orchard and field for camping, hiking trails, and indoor spaces - and campfire amphitheater for late night drum circles! Everyone was amazing to work with, and the preferred caterer was equally amazing. Definitely recommend.

All of our guests absolutely raved about how gorgeous everything was! The staff were nothing but amazing.
There isn’t cell service for quite a ways out unless you have AT&T, and WiFi very weak so it’s hard to work around that on your wedding day but otherwise can’t rave enough! Recommend 10/10!

This was the best venue and using them made our wedding magical. I continue to replay our wedding day and every time I think about how perfect this venue was! I would absolutely use this place again if I had to do this all over.

Anderson Lodge was the perfect venue for us. Coming here was like going to our wedding getaway instead of a quick wedding time slot like so many places. We had 2 nights there, with many people staying at the venue with us or nearby. With so many people coming from out of town, it was incredible to have this time with everyone. Not to mention, it was beautiful. Everyone managing the venue was very easy to work with & answered my many questions without complaint. I highly highly recommend them!!

We had our 3 day, 2 night wedding in early September 2015 at the Hilltop House at Anderson Lodge. The site is stunningly beautiful with gorgeous views and seclusion in the woods. So many of our guests commented on what a beautiful setting we had chosen for our wedding. The Anderson's are also wonderful people who are a pleasure to work with- it felt like we were working with family. I would highly recommend Anderson Lodge for a wedding site!

We got married at the Anderson Lodge in July and absolutely loved it! The Andersons are so wonderful to work with, they are understanding and truly want you to have the wedding of your dreams. It is a flexible venue with lodging included! They helped me anytime I had questions or needed recommendations. We got so many compliments on how beautiful our venue was. And it doesn't require much decoration because the nature surrounding is so beautiful already. Highly recommend!

I absolutely loved the Main Lodge venue that we booked for our wedding day. Guests were able to come up on Friday and stay through Sunday morning, giving us more time to see people who had traveled from out of town. The location is a beautiful outdoor setting, and there is lots of space for people to sleep either in cabins or camp out. The outdoor patio area made for an idyllic ceremony space, and later on for a dance party! I would recommend this location to anyone looking for a rustic, romantic wedding. The owners were fantastic to work with as well!

The Hilltop House has awesome views and a wide variety for different pictures, reception areas and ceremony options. we got rave reviews on our wedding on what a beautiful backdrop it was for our special day.

My husband and I had our wedding at the Main Lodge in June. We had a mid-week wedding so it was more affordable to rent the lodge for three nights and have an extended wedding experience.

The lodge was exactly what we were looking for. We wanted a place that was in nature, rustic but well done, authentic, and that had a place for our friends to sleep. We couldn't have been more satisfied. It was perfect.

Arvid and Vikki were both great. They were always willing to accomodate us whenever possible. They are down to earth, and the perfect balance of involved/available and laid-back.

I didn't want to leave. We were so happy.

I loved this venue. We had it for the entire weekend which was awesome. Arvid is flexible, professional and very nice. It is absolutely beautiful up there. I loved that we were able to bring our travel trailer and so did friends and family members. The cabins are perfect for extra guests.

Anderson Lodge is absolutely one of the most stunning locations that I've ever seen. They are so easy to work with, have two gorgeous venues to fit different styles...and you can even get the venue for the entire weekend! The best decision that I made, aside from marrying my husband, was booking my wedding weekend with Anderson Lodge.

I love that all of their information is available via their website, seriously EVERYTHING!! It's so helpful! They also allow you to drop by to check out the place during your planning stages as long as you aren't intruding on someone else's time. BYO catering/food (you can even make your own) as well as alcohol. Sleeping arrangements for 40-60 people (summer camp style). All of this made us fall.in.love +++ the view!!!!

Pros: Beautiful, romantic setting where all of our friends and family could spend the weekend and help us prepare for our wedding. We stayed at the Main Lodge. The rooms were great, beds were great and the kitchens were perfect for the large crowd we were feeding. We had 250 or so at the wedding and reception, with about 50-60 people sleeping there for the weekend, both in beds and camping. The RV spots are great! All have water and power hookups! The little cabins were ideal for the honeymoon suite and one particularly large family that wanted to stay together. All-in-all it was truly a perfect wedding experience.

Cons: They charge $150 per day if you use the kitchens at all, or if you bring in an outside caterer. That seemed weird when you're reserving the spot for the entire weekend, which isn't cheap. Seems like they could throw that in.

This is such a beautiful location out in the woods, and you get the extra benefit of having the whole place to yourselves (there is a caretaker nearby to come and help as needed). We had a blast and my family is already talking about coming back for a reunion!

We had a fantastic wedding! The venue provided the perfect place for us to have laid back weekend with our family and friends. The Hiltop venue is stunning with a ceremony site that faces an incredible vista. The Anderson Family is easy to work with - they are kind, flexible and very responsive. They went above and beyond in helping us to have a great wedding.

Beautiful venue up in the hills just outside of Cougar, WA. They have two different "venues", the Main Lodge and the Hilltop House. We used the Hilltop House, which is complete with lodging, kitchens, and buildings for the ceremony and reception. Good price, WONDERFUL weekend, and VERY special day!

We were able to rent the whole venue for the weekend and it felt very private and secluded. We used all of the space inside and outside. We set up lawn games all over the property.

We fell in love with Anderson Lodge the first time we toured the grounds. Not only is it priced affordably, but it's also very unique, and has a stunning view! My husband and I were NOT going to invest in an 8–10-hour rental for our special day and the fact that Anderson Lodge only accommodates minimum 2-night stay rental was PERFECT for us. Almost all of our guests were complimenting us on the venue, and our bridal party that stayed onsite were comfortable and didn't need to feel super rushed decorating before the wedding or clearing out afterwards.

Here's a couple things that could have gone better for us:

- We did encounter an underground wasp nest on our wedding day and me, my husband, and our photographer were stung multiple, multiple times right before the ceremony. We were trying to take some pictures in front of the old shed, but as soon as my husband posed in front of it, we all hear "crunch" and then we were being swarmed. It was pretty traumatic but after some ice, rest and Benadryl we carried on with our ceremony and the rest of the night went well. We actually laugh about the whole thing now, I guess we thrive in chaos! Lol. We told the groundskeeper, and he continuously apologized reassured us at checkout that the nest would be addressed before the next wedding.

- Overall cleanliness subpar: Patio and picnic tables need to be pressure washed, badly. Even after we cleaned/disinfected, the tables still looked dirty. The sleeping house needs to be deep cleaned and carpets need to be cleaned or replaced. Definitely some smells going on in the bunk rooms which should be addressed. Several of our guests who stayed overnight brought it to our attention during our stay.

- A couple of my guests said they called the venue with questions and were met with rude/snarky responses, as if it was an inconvenience for them to be calling. Sometimes my emails were left unanswered, and I didn't have a great experience setting up the required event insurance with their recommended insurance company.

In summary, I would recommend this venue for the sole purpose of having an extended stay wedding experience as well as the unforgettable view which made for some breathtaking photos. Worth the investment, but the venue could make some improvements for the next couple!
