Amazing!!!

Oh my goodness, Kelly was absolutely amazing!!! She was so sweet, professional, responsive, and so good at what she does! I was relieved once she arrived because she was so calm and excited to be with us and that really helped my nerves! When you hire a photographer or videographer, they are going to be with you for the most emotional parts of the wedding and everything in between, so you definitely want someone who you trust! We instantly knew we wanted to book Anchored in Love even after just one phone call. We were thrilled with our video and cannot recommend Kelly enough!!

Kelly is amazing!

I believe I first came across Anchored in Love on instagram. From the first phone call, Kelly was personable and so easy going, it’s no wonder she can make you feel comfortable in front of the camera. She is such a sweet human who loves love and wants to capture your love story from behind her equipment. My husband and I were definitely nervous about being recorded but her prompting and direction felt so natural. I love that she allowed us to send in recordings of how we felt during our wedding and other commentary on how the day went. In my opinion, that’s really what sets her apart is she wants it to be YOUR love story and really, authentically capture your day.

Went above and beyond our expectations for our big day!

Working with Kelly and Grey Edwards for our wedding was a breeze. From the beginning they took the time to get to know Albert and I, our relationship, and what we are wanting out of our wedding photos to make sure we were happy with the product. On our wedding day, they truly captured our love in our photos. I can not recommend them enough they are best in the industry!

Amazing! Highly recommended!

Kelly is amazing with Anchored in Love! I would HIGHLY recommend her!! I watch my wedding video all the time! The first time I saw it I cried happy tears because she captured our day perfectly! They are high quality videos and so beautiful! She really listens to what you want to capture of your wedding day and she delivers! She also offers the best price around!! I can’t stress it enough, book Anchored in Love with Kelly!! You won’t be disappointed! Money well spent!!!

Very personable!

This was a big splurge from my wedding budget but I consider it an investment because our video has brought back so many memories that we had forgotten from such a busy day! I would do it all over again!

Wonderful experience!

Kelly, Kelly, KELLY! She is not only the sweetest, most open-hearted person, but she is also an incredible professional and really personalizes your experience. Kelly was so accommodable, as she shot our beautiful engagement photos while 9 months pregnant just so that we could get them done while we were home for the holidays. Additionally, she met us the week before the wedding over breakfast to talk out all the details for her videography for the wedding. She incorporated personalized details into our day, and even had us read love notes to each other before we walked down the aisle. So cute! For the night of our wedding, Anchored in Love did our photo booth and it was so much fun. There were so many awesome costume options and our guests had the best time getting their photos taken at the photo booth. At the end of the night, Kelly gave us the most adorable photo album of all the polaroid photos taken, and it will be something I cherish forever. I can’t wait to see the video and I know it will be so amazing!

Kelly captured our wedding in a way that I don't think any other photographer could. She definitely has an eye for fine details that make a huge difference in her photos, making them much more special. She sent me my slideshow first and I started crying again because it felt like I was reliving the wedding again. The photos told a story of my husband and I's love that words could not even explain. I loved working with Kelly and her response time for my emails and questions was excellent. I would recommend her for anyone who wants their love story told through photography.

Kelly is a really amazing photographer for a wedding! My sister used her for her wedding a few years ago and I just knew I needed her for mine! To start off I got engaged in July and was having our wedding that October! Luckily Kelly was available and an amazing help throughout the entire process! I was able to receive a discount because my sister was a previous customer and she helped us pick a package that worked perfectly for our budget. Every penny we spent on photography was well worth it! Kelly was also like an event planner in some ways. She helped us break down our wedding timeline, kept us on track the entire wedding day, and was most importantly like having a friend around for support the whole day! All the pictures she took were beautiful and great quality. Our wedding was only about 5 hours long, but we still got a huge amount of pictures. I cannot be more thankful for her services!

We were originally on the fence about hiring a videographer and how it would fit into our overall budget, however, could not have been more happy with our decision to hire Kelly! She somehow managed to capture every detail in a such a magical way and we feel like we are able to re-live our dream day each time we watch our video. Thank you for your beautiful work, Kelly!

We loved working with Kelly as our videographer! She took the ideas I had and brought them to life in ways that I couldn't imagine! She made sure she knew exactly what I wanted before the big day and was able to seamlessly blend into the mix of things, capturing some great shots without us having to spend tons of time away from our guests and reception. I was really concerned about budgeting a videographer and had to pinch pennies in our budget, but I would do it 100 times over and I will always treasure the videos we received! I was very impressed with the quality of her work and I literally tear up every time I watch it- EVERY time!!

Kelly was AMAZING! She took our engagement photos and they came out beautifully! They are all booked for our little wedding, and did a great job making us a custom package for our needs! We cannot wait for them to capture our big day!

Possibly one of the best parts of using Anchored in Love as our videographers is that when talking about our highlights video, the response we got the most was "you had a videographer??" My husband was adamantly against having a videographer, so this was hugely important to us.
I spent a few weeks interviewing several videographers and researching options for a video, and had almost given up when I talked to Kelly. I told her how we didn't want to do a whole bunch of staged shots, or interview our guests, or "act like we were walking down the beach" and her response was "Oh yeah! So you want someone who can just capture if someone falls in the pool". I said YES! And immediately knew Kelly was the right choice for our wedding.

She was great about sending invoices and payment reminders, and surveys to make sure she knew what was important to us. And since I was out of town, I didn't get to meet her until the day of the wedding. But her and her husband showed up right on time and just immediately got to work. Other than the initial introductions on the day of, and then a request to extend her hours later that night, I never even talked to her, but she managed to get AMAZING footage of our wedding. We are so happy with our highlight video, ceremony and toasts- and even more happy that we paid the extra money for all the raw footage (a feature that a lot of videographers don't even give you the option of)

The other bonus of having Anchored in Love as our videographer was the add on photo booth. We had debated about the photo booth, but it was one of the selling points that shut my husband up about booking a videographer. Everyone had so much fun, and the digital nature of it was great- just share and upload right to facebook. Us receiving all the photo booth pictures was a hoot too- and some are even making it into our wedding photo album (from a different photographer).

Overall working with Kelly and Anchored in Love was so easy and awesome!

When you get married the wedding takes a day or maybe a weekend, but then it is over. Photography and videography are the only things that you will have to remind yourself of those memories. I spent days researching photographers and videographers - comparing images, video and pricing. When I found Anchored in Love, read the reviews - I had a gut feeling they would be perfect. When I met Kelly for the first time, I couldn't help but hug her with excitement. She is a professional, who loves what she does, with an incredible energy and huge heart. I knew that she would capture the day perfectly. I couldn't have been more right. Anchored in Love is amazing. We ended up adding an engagement session to the wedding package - it was priceless to have that time getting to know Kelly even better and getting comfortable in front of the camera. The pictures were fantastic. On our wedding day, it felt like Kelly and Barrett were part of the family. Kelly kept everyone organized, on point & on time, but still managed to make everyone feel like they knew both her and Barrett. We have received our photos and I hardly have the words to explain how fantastic they are. The photos capture the energy, joy, detail, and overall feel of our wedding... to me - that is everything. Look no further for a photographer / videographer if you really value capturing the day - I highly, highly recommend them.

Kelly was our photographer for our wedding and I also had a bridal shoot before the wedding. Kelly was very helpful on scheduling a time and place for my bridal shoot, and even provided me a place to get ready. She made me feel so beautiful and comfortable and my photos were absolutely breathtaking! Her eye for shots is amazing.
At our wedding Kelly was so professional, and was very flexible that day as well. I was later than expected getting to the venue, but Kelly changed around her shooting schedule and everything worked out perfect. We still were able to have the amazing before the ceremony pictures that I wanted, and also have great pictures of the venue like we wanted. The pictures from the whole day captured every essence that we wanted, and our pictures are absolutely stunning! We couldn't have a better way to remember our day. The slideshow with the music that Anchored in Love provided us will always be a treasure to us!
Anytime I had a question or concern, someone would always answer my email or phone call within a few hours to put my mind at ease.
I will definitely choose Anchored in Love for any of our future family shoots. The quality and value is out of this world!

We would absolutely recommend Anchored in love to all of our friends. Kelly took time to look around the venue and see which places would be good for taking pictures. She helped us so much throughout our wedding day and put us at ease. She even taught us how to cut the wedding cake! It was like we had a friend helping us out the entire day. We only have the previews available at this time, but they are absolutely breath taking and we cannot wait to see all of out photos.

We cannot say enough positive things about the professionalism and service of Anchored in Love. From start to finish they were a pleasure to work with, were attentive to our needs/wants, and always made us feel like their #1 priority. We had such a good time shooting our engagement pictures and the results were outstanding. Having an engagement session and a bridal portrait session helped us both relax in front of the camera on our wedding day. They were glad to travel for our wedding and arranging this with them was no problem at all. It was that much more enjoyable knowing that we had a great team there to document our event. Wedding photos are something to cherish forever and my wife and I are glad we trusted Anchored in Love to capture these moments!!! The photos were worth every penny! Not only do we love our photos, but we loved having Kelly, Josh and their crew at our wedding! It was so much fun we would LOVE to do it all over again with Anchored in Love!

I can't say enough how much we loved working with Kelly and her husband for our wedding! We absolutely loved all of the pictures and really feel that every moment was captured. Kelly has such a passion for weddings and it is definitely reflected in her work. Not only are they great at what they do, there are also packages to fit your needs. They were even willing to work with us on what was included in our package and essentially created our own personal package. . They truly take the time to make sure that you get everything you want. Honestly there's no need to do any further research on wedding photographers and choose Anchored in Love :)

We used Josh with Anchored in Love for our engagement photos and wedding photos. He did an outstanding job, we rec'd so many compliments from friends and guests specifically in regards to the level of detail in the photos that were taken. Its so nice to not only see photos of our friends/family on our big day, but also the details like the decor, the food and the event space...which we put so much time and effort into planning and preparing. We were very pleased with how our wedding pictures turned out. Kelly was our photographer and she is amazing!! She is very easy and fun to work with. She made taking pictures enjoyable for me and my husband and our family. She captured everything that I wanted and more. Kelly also took our engagement pictures which turned out perfect! She made this shoot fun for my husband. She selected the battle ship of NC as a place to take pictures, which made him very happy. She drove all the way to Charleston, SC to capture our wedding day! Can't say enough good things about Anchored in Love!! Kelly is an AMAZING photographer (and person!) who will treat you right and make your special day even more special! She was very professional but also very sweet, and incredibly flexible on our wedding day! During group photo time we had many random family and friends who wanted to jump into pictures and Kelly didn't bat and eye. She also made sure that my husband and I got to spend a lot of time taking couple photos together even though we were running way behind schedule. From our "sneak peak" photos, I can tell the rest of them are going to be beautiful!! Would highly recommend!!!

Kelly and Anchored in Love were by far the best value for service that we found in the Wilmington area, and Kelly went above and beyond for us. Months before our wedding, she drove up from Wilmington to Raleigh (where we live) to meet with us, and she checked out our venue far in advance to begin to get ideas. On the day, she braved the traffic on Market Street to get some amazing shots of us in front of the fountain and she knew of some other really great spots downtown where we could get good photos. Having Kelly shoot our wedding was like having a friend by our side taking pictures; she made us feel so comfortable and relaxed and got so many wonderful shots because of that. Kelly's photos are exactly how I remember my wedding day, and she was so flexible, carving out time for a bridal session, and adding on things I asked for here and there without much notice. I cannot recommend Anchored in Love highly enough!!!

Anchored in Love is an AMAZING group of photographers and videographers. I had a solitary shoot with Kelly that turned out better than I could imagine and Bradley and his wife, Sarah, were absolutely amazing when it came to capturing our wedding. They are the most down to earth, personable, and easy going people which made the whole experience much easier. They have an amazing eye and are quick to respond and will work with you to achieve your vision. Not that I plan on getting married again but I would call them in a heartbeat if I did! ;) Thank you guys SO much for being so amazing!

Kelly with Anchored in Love was amazing to work with for our Engagement shoot this spring! She allowed us to bring our hyperactive dog to try and get some shots with her in them! She was more than willing to work with her and was SO patient and she really did capture some great shots with her. She allowed us to bring our own "props" to showcase some of our personality too. I felt like she just knew what kind of photos we were looking for and captured the exact feel I wanted to capture. She had wonderful ideas of location (she even suggested the park we took pictures at since we're not from the Wilmington area), and she was so easy to work with and we felt really comfortable with her. I was so nervous going into it and worried it was going to be awkward and that this would show in the pictures but she put us both at ease and the pictures look so real and not forced at all. Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful! Can't wait to see what she captures at our wedding!

Anchored In Love was by far my favorite vendor of my wedding. Kelly is th photographer in Wilmington, if not North Carolina. Not only do her photos make you feel like you're reliving every moment, her bubbly, cute, adorable personality will win you over in the first 5 minutes of meeting her. She did 10+ hours of work on my wedding day starting from the second we started getting ready until the last congratulations was yelled at the end of the night. She made everyon she worked with that day feel so comfortable and at ease. I had people coming up to me all night complimenting the great shots she was getting or how cute and charming her husband was working our photobooth :)- she worked with me for months on emails/texts/calls while I was planning my destination wedding and made time to check in with me before, during and after the wedding! If you need any sort of photography or videography done, I would recommend Anchored In Love and no one else. Looking through my wedding day album she gave me is one of my favorite things to do. She captured every moment from the tears, to the laughter to the breathtaking. Thank you so much, Anchored In Love!

I fell in love with Kelly on our first meeting. She made me feel so comfortable and truly showed how much she loved weddings and love and being able to share in such special days with couples. My, then fiance, was not in having an engagement session, so Kelly let me do bridal portraits instead. the first day planned was rainy, so we rescheduled. The next day scheduled was going to rain, so we moved up the time to get the pictures in. She was so wonderful and kept me relaxed. She captured to most beautiful pictures!

I originally was only going to do photography, ended up adding the video. So thankful I did!!! The compilation wedding video that Bradley did was the most beautiful video ever. I still cry every time I watch it. Kelly and Bradley were so great at the wedding. they have pictures and video that I can't figure out how they got. Most of the time, I didn't even know they were that close.

The pictures and video were both things I wanted to be great. The day goes by so fast and I wanted to be able to remember it all. They did the best job of really capturing mine and my husbands love for each other as well as our love for our families and friends. Over 2 months later, I am still in awe of their talent and passion! I am so thankful to have had them apart of our day!

Hiring anchored in love was one of the best decisions we made when planning our intimate wedding celebration. Kelly is a dream. From the moment we met her for our engagement shoot we knew she would be perfect. We used Anchored in Love for our engagement and wedding photos. I honestly cannot say enough about how wonderful Kelly Edwards is! Kelly is friendly and instantly makes everyone feel very comfortable in front of the camera. As was the case before, Kelly picked out beautiful locations for our wedding party, family and bride and groom photographs. She is incredibly creative and has an eye for capturing the most magical of moments. We once again have a beautiful variety of photographs, each one of which appears to be more beautiful than the last. She is professional, reliable and always provides quick and informative responses. Kelly and her husband were an absolute joy to have photograph our wedding last August. After our first Skype session I knew it was meant to be! When they arrived on our wedding day we instantly felt as if they were friends we had known forever and everything was so comfortable. Kelly and her Husband were AWESOME the day of the wedding! Kelly photographed our engagement pictures and our wedding day. I hate pictures and have for most of the 42yrs I've been alive, but Kelly made me feel at ease at the Engagement session as well as at the Wedding. Her sweet personality, great eye and overall positive demeanor helped me through it all.she helped keep us focused and on track before, during and after the wedding. She got 99% of the must have shots and our photo album was incredible. We will have beautiful, lasting memories because of her. I highly recommend her and will use her again in the future. Kelly went above and beyond to answer all of our questions, was flexible with our wishes in our contract services, and was very quick in editing. My fiancé' and I do not enjoy having our picture taken and she made it comfortable, even enjoyable. We love the fact she also uses film for pictures. She took time to really figure out our likes and dislikes of photography. We also live in Greenbsoro but that has not hindered her ability to communicate or deliver timely service. We greatly appreciate her and can't wait until our wedding day. Based on our pictures from the engagement session, we are positive she was the perfect choice.

Kelly is absolutely AMAZING! She went above and beyond to capture the special moments on our very special day! She got everything and more than what we requested! She was very accommodating in every way! She scoped out the best spots for pictures before and after the wedding! All my guests have commented on how wonderful my photographer was! She and her husband are a wonderful team and they captured out special day in a way i could never imagine! We received our images less than 3 weeks after the wedding! The photo booth was a huge hit! Kelly Edwards is an outstanding photographer and such an easy going person. She made us feel so comfortable on our wedding day. Her close attention to detail and creative style really translates beautifully into her photographs. She had a sneak peek on Facebook the same day we got married and she sent us a slideshow of the highlights the next day. It was nice to view our pictures while we were still on our honeymoon. We also had our wedding CD in the mailbox waiting for us the day we returned home. Talk about superior customer service! We loved each and every photo Kelly took. Kelly Edwards is a gem in the photography world! As a bride, I was looking for someone who I would be able to understand my ideas and style and she immediately put my mind at ease and took care of everything I wanted plus came up with creative photo ops and shots of her own. My entire family talked about how passionate, excited, and sweet she was. She made me feel as if my wedding was as important to her as her own and went above and beyond as our photographer, even sending our photos via mail only a few days after we got home from our honeymoon. Kelly took our engagement photos last year and also brought her photo booth to our wedding this past June. For our engagement shots she picked some great spots around Greenfield Lake and downtown Wilmington, and they all turned out beautifully. We got so many compliments on them, we were thrilled. Kelly has such a great personality that she puts you at ease right away, she really makes it a fun experience. The photo booth was a huge hit at the wedding, everyone stopped by and had fun with the props. Her set up makes it easy to photograph large groups, so much better than those little boxes with the curtain on the side. We highly recommend Kelly as a photographer, you won't be disappointed.

Working with Kelly was amazing! From our first meeting at a local coffee shop we knew there was no one else we would rather work with. Kelly was very professional with an outline of the day to make sure all the important shots weren't missed! Even through our hurricane wedding having many delays, she worked with us and was never flustered nor frustrated! Kelly was our photographer for our beach wedding in the summer of 2012. To say I was satisfied feels like an understatement. She did an amazing job!! Provided creative photo coverage of our wedding at our beach home. Technical quality very good, very easy to work with. She did not bring an assistant as promised and got wrapped in manning the photo booth after the wedding ceremony and missed photos of our guests interacting.

I'm incredibly unhappy with their service and advise others against using them.
My biggest clue was when the photographer showed up with his wife, and was literally teaching her how to take shots, while letting her take the pictures of the most important day of my life. Apparently he also left the videography up to her as well, even though she had no idea how to even photograph a wedding, so one of the two key moments in my wedding (being given away and actually saying vows), was lost. The moment my brother gave me away, was not captured, in fact, you couldn't see anyone in the wedding party, hear what we're saying, nothing. Instead, you get the backsides of all of our guests.
They refuse to give you all of the footage of the video, that you pay an extra $500 for, so you are stuck with whatever cuts of the film they decide are best. You barely see me walking down, there's no view of me being given away by my brother who was crying, and my soon to be husband shaking his hand and promising to take care of me for the rest of my life.
Breaks my heart more than words can say, to know that this company put someone who I didn't hire, learning how to be a photographer and just spend the day at my wedding, above the importance of those moments in my life.
My mother passed away and I do not have a father, and my husband's mother and father just passed away, so the moment of him and my brother coming together, that was something that should've been caught on camera just like any other girl being given away by her father.
I have no words to fully describe just how upset, and genuinely heartbroken I am.
There's also no reason I should've had to continue to press on, when I wanted a picture and the photographer kept persuading me to just be done, or when I had to go to the top floor of the house inside, and ask the photographer to please come down and take pictures of everyone having fun outside.

I would NOT recommend this vendor, if you can help it.
