Great experience!
Ana's Bridal Boutique did a fantastic job on my wedding dress. Ana, Michelle, & Skyler were exceptional. I was so nervous about getting my wedding dress altered and just wanted everything to be perfect and Ana took the time to sit with me and made sure all my concerns were addressed. When my dress was finished I was blown away at how much detail Ana paid attention to--not a stitch out of place! We bought my mother of the bride dress here, and Ana altered that as well, and I cannot stress enough at how beautiful my mom's dress came out! Also, great selection. Ana is very personable, professional, and most importantly, calming!! Overall, great experience! -

Once In a Lifetime Experience
Personality, personable, timing and professionalism..... all there. This was the most sweetest and gracious shopping experience ever. I was in need of a dress for my Miss Black USA pageant and Ms. Ana with no hesitation was able to tailor a size 10 dress to a size 4 for me. I absolutely loved the dress and needed it in just a couple of days. The dress is the most beautiful dress, this compliments a mile long. I can say this... You don't meet people like the ones you'll meet at this Boutique. It's truly one of kind and an experience to cherish forever. Forever thankful. -

Amazing ❤️
If you are looking for a private one on one type of Bridal experience as seen on Say Yes to the Dress, then this Boutique is not for you and that was okay for me. I chose this Boutique because they had Maggie Sottero and other designers I was interested in. I knew that driving from Connecticut was going to be a pain but figured it would be worth it. We arrived to pick out my dress and was greated by Sky who was such a sweetheart. I had brought my mom, sister and niece with me. Sky picked out some dresses based on photos I showed her and my mom, sister and niece picked out some additional. There was another bride in there as well with her family but it made it fun to see everyones reactions to us trying on dresses. I come from a lively family so we didnt need that one on one private experience. That day I ended up saying Yes to the dress. The one down fall I would say would be email communication was non existent. I would have liked an email notification rather then text when my dress arrived at the boutique and another down fall was for the remaining deposit they only accept cash or check which being in CT we had to send a check overnight. I wish there was a follow up that they received the check and the balance was squared away and then working with me to set up my first fitting. I had to reach out to them to schedule my first fitting and then a day before that fitting I did have to reach out to see if the appointment was still confirmed. I thought that they would have called 24 hours before the appointment just to confirm and recap what needs to be brought with me. Once again, not complaining just letting any future brides know what to expect. For the first fitting we were down stairs and it was a bit toasty since there was a group of bridesmaids there for their fittings. I ended up not being able to stay for the whole fitting due to the dress being a bit tight making me feel not well. They were so kind and informative though letting me know that this happens and to next time snack throughout the day and stick to foods that will keep my blood sugar level. It was very interesting all their knowledge. The 2nd fitting went amazing and it was with the owner who was such a doll. and then my last fitting/final pick up went well. Only down fall was last fitting/final pick up was for 5:30pm appointment and they had me wait till 6pm since they were adding bustle. I wouldnt have minded the wait if they told me right from the start that I would be waiting and what they were doing. However, I am so happy with my dress and my experience with them. Cheyenne , Sky, the owner and the girl who helped me at my first fitting were all just amazing. Cant wait for my big day! -

They are not just a dress shop. They were like family to me. I trusted them every step of the way and not once did they let me down. They made me feel so relaxed throughout the whole process. -

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Ana and her fabulous team! It’s not easy dealing with brides! It’s a very emotional process and Ana, Michelle and cheyanne all took care of me so well! Michelle, her daughter did some AMAZING alterations on my gown. She had to add fabric and beading to the top of my dress and you cannot tell at all! I was blown away at all the effort that goes into altering a dress! I’m sure I have no idea about the true behind the scenes action but these women are up LATE making people’s dresses perfect! Not to mention, I got such a great deal on my dress and accessories too! It was just an overall amazing expierience and I’m so greatful for the team at Ana’s!-

Loved loved loved working with Ana and the Ana’s Bridal Boutique staff for my wedding dress, bridesmaid dresses, and mother of the bride dress!
I really can’t wrap my head around the negative reviews surrounding Ana’s…I just don’t get it. I have nothing but positive things to say about my whole experience with Ana’s, and I recommend them wholeheartedly. Ana and Patricia were wonderful throughout the whole process, and every time my mom and I were in the boutique, they both made a point to come say hello and chat with us. Ana really accommodated our schedules, her alterations were impeccable, she made great style suggestions, and her prices are fair. I am so glad I chose Ana's Bridal Boutique!

We purchased our 3 bridesmaids dresses here and we had great luck. We found a dress that all the bridesmaids could agree on and looked great on all of them. The ordering process was super easy and the dresses came in earlier then expected which was awesome. They have a great selection of bridesmaids dresses as well as bridal gowns and the experience is very laid back. There aren't any other people in the boutique while your there so you have plenty of time to feel things out without feeling pressured. -

My experience with Ana and Toryn was nothing short of spectacular. I was back and forth in between 2 different dresses at 2 different shops (neither dress within my ideal budget). After countless dresses, Toryn was able to find a dress perfect for me and exactly in my budget. I never felt pressured, or like no matter what dress I tried on, the consultant would say I looked "amazing" in. She gave me her honest opinion and made me feel so comfortable and t that was just my experience with the dress. While dealing with my alterations, Ana was hands down the most accommodating and genuine person I've ever met. She saw my vision of what I wanted to do to the dress and she was able to tell me what she thought. Together we were able to customize my wedding gown that not only fit my personality, but made me feel so beautiful in.
I would strongly suggest Ana's to anyone looking for any sort of dress or gown! Thank you ladies!!

I bought the most beautiful dress here for my wedding for a little over $300 due to it being last year's style and they were having a "Black Friday" sale. I had an appointment and so was the only person in the store trying on dresses. The girl working there was very sweet, helpful, and knowledgeable about the merchandise. After seeing me try on a few dresses and determining what I liked, she went downstairs to somewhere that is off-limits to patrons and brought up the most beautiful, perfect dress for me. It was by Justin Alexander and made of silk chiffon, very good quality and very elegent. She then produced the perfect veil to match it; I tried on a few others but none were as perfect as the one she had originally brought out. So I found my perfect dress and veil in under an hour with this girl's help. It was the first and last bridal shop I went to to find a dress. -

Ana's was great to work with! I found my dress with my mom, sister & matron of honor in tow, we were allowed to dig through the racks on our own and try on as many as I wanted! The dress I chose was new for the Allure line and each time I went for a fitting the staff remembered me & commented on how they had been waiting to see it in the ivory (as the sample came in blue). From picking my dress to the fittings/alterations each person who works there is very nice, easy to work with & more then excited to be a part of your dress process. The only thing to keep in mind was that most of my bridesmaids were out of state and it took a little longer then expected to order the dresses as the girls had to send in checks rather then being able to pay over the phone, something I never thought to ask about ahead of time when I chose dresses from there. Other then that small thing, everything was great & I will recommend Ana's to others in the area! -

Ana's Bridal are great to work with. I brought in a few pictures of dresses I loved and Toryn was able to gather up about 10 dresses that fit my taste and style. This was the first place I went wedding dress shopping and walked out the same day with my dress picked! They were accommodating and can do all alterations in house. I have since met with the seamstress and have had the first step of alterations. She was also great work with and you can tell she really knows what she is doing. Overall a great experience so far. -

Ana and her staff were so accommodating to myself, my mother/mother-in-law, and my bridal party of 7. I bought my dress from Ana's because it was a listed seller of the dress I found online and fell in love with. The bridal consultants suggested I try on a few styles to be sure I liked the one I came in for, which I am pleased I did. I still purchased the dress I initially found, but staff at Ana's really try to help you find the perfect dress, even when you may not be sure where to begin. My party also purchased their dresses there, and Ana and her staff treated them all like queens with great service and professionalism. And shopping there was fun! My dress required quite a bit of alterations (completely changed the back from lace up to become a simple zipper), and Ana worked her magic and transformed the dress so that it was just as I envisioned. It was the dress of my dreams! It fit like a glove, even during trial fittings. I wish I could wear it more often than just my wedding day! I highly recommend Ana's Bridal boutique to any bride looking for a positive and memorable dress shopping experience! Thank you Ana and her wonderful staff!

Anna's was a dream to work with. I bought my dress, the bridesmaids dresses and my mothers dress here and also did all of our alterations here. Myself and my party had an amazing experience. They were very flexible with me and my out of town party members and let us come in whenever we were in the area for our appointments. I also completely customized my dress and they worked tirelessly with my on this to make sure every detail was perfect. I can't say enough and Michelle and Anna's professionalism and skills. These ladies know exactly what they are talking about, are extremely knowledgable about wedding fashion and are extremely talented seamstresses. Overall this was probably my favorite vendor for my wedding. They made me and my party feel so special and gave me the best experience leading up to my big day! -

I knew that I would walk down the aisle exactly as I envisioned it. After describing to the sales woman what look I was going for, she brought over 5 dresses. It was the second dress. Fantastic to work with. I had found a dress that no on was carrying in stock to try on. They ordered it in for me to try on and it ended up being my dress. I ordered my dress, bridesmaids and junior bridesmaids dresses from here. There selection is wonderful. My mother-in-law ordered her gown from here too.
I have already recommended this shop to other brides who are happy with it too. -

I've gone to Ana's Bridal numerous times for different weddings and know family members and friends who have purchased their attire at Ana's Bridal and they always do an amazing job. The dress I purchased was so beautiful, I fell in love with it the moment I tried it on. It was all I was looking for and more, except there was a slight issue.... It was a bit over my budget. Ana worked with me and worked the pricing to meet my budget! I was soooooo happy and very pleased. The process of purchasing the dress and fitting was absolutely seamless. My granddaughter Bethany was married and bought her wedding gown there. Also the bridesmaids dresses were bought there and the mothers of the bride and groom and both sets of grandparents. and also ALL the tuxedo's were rented there. 10 tuxes. WE HAD A FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE. THE QUALITY OF THE DRESSES WERE AWESOME. THE ORDERING AND THE FITTINGS WERE DONE SO PROFESSIONALLY AND We were also made to feel like part of the family. We also became very close to Ana and michelle and Jade one of the workers.
We had a million compliments on our outfits at the wedding. Also Ana made me a little bolero jacket because I didn't want my arms showing. She addeed sleeves to the Mothers dresses too ....... Her prices were normal. I would recommend Ana;s bridal to anyone who is looking for a special occasion of anything. rather a prom or a wedding. They are a top notch company and wonderful to do business with ... If I could give them a higher than 5.0 recommendation, I would most definitely. People should not listen to the negative reviews. Those people just have nothing better to do and a wedding is stressful enough without taking it out on a innocent vendor. -

I can honestly say I had a great experience here. I only got my wedding dress here, I ordered my bridesmaids dresses from J Crew. My dad and I went to pick out my wedding dress together and we had a great time. I live 3 hours away so I couldn't make it down during the week for fittings and they were very accomodating. I know a lot of people have had problems with their dresses coming in late, but that is a result of the manufacturer not necessarily Ana's. I really did have a great experience here. -

I bought my dress, my bridesmaids, and my mother's dresses at Ana's. My experience was wonderful. I am a plus size bride so I was happy that the boutique had a large variety. It's a nice feeling to actually wear the dress and not have hold it up in front of you. Besides the dress were gorgeous. The staff helped me pick one that would flatter my figure and fit my budget. My bridesmaids wore the same designer and color, but different dress styles. My girls went into the boutique on different occassions to shop around and the staff was always friendly and professional. It does get busy on Saturdays during the bridal season so there will be a lot of girls. You just need patience when shopping (of course!) Towards the end, during my final fittings, I was given the best treatment. They altered my dress to my specifications (added a sweatheart neckline and embellished the bussel with crystal appliques). They found me trendy accessories for my hair and a beautiful veil. They explained to me the terms of the boutique up front. So I knew that the fittings were a month before the wedding date; fittings needed to be scheduled in advance; that the final payment was in cash; the extra costs associated with special ordering; the cost of alterations. My bridesmaids and my mother's knew the same. Because of this our experience was seamless and without hassle. These terms were not a downside to the wonderful service and quality of Ana's staff. The quality is wonderful! I would shop there again and again. My mom still buys nightlife and dinner cruise dresses there! Just beautiful dresses. -

TOWARDS THE END I WENT TO A TON OF FITTINGS TO MAKE SURE EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT, AND IT WAS! I ACTUALLY BECAME FRIENDLY WITH BOTH ANA AND HER DAUGHTER MICHELLE WHO ALSO ASSISTS IN THE DRESS ALTERATIONS. I was a bride at Anas in 2007 I must say that it was a great experience. The staff was always friendly and very helpful. They helped with my entire wedding party, including the guys tux were from there... I also had worked with An, the whole staff there makes you feel just like familym When ever I hear of someone getting married, or looking for a gown I always recommend Ana's Bridal. Ana's was so helpful I was unsure what I really wanted. She pulled one dress and it was the one. The price was also great! Could not recommend enough!
When I went back for my fitting, they made the dress fit perfectly. The alterations cost a little more than I wanted to spend, but the fit was so good I could not pass it up.

Ana's Boutique is the place to find a great dress inexpensively. I found my dress here (as did my cousin and all her friends!) on my first visit.
When I returned for all of my fittings and alterations - Ana's was helpful, professional, and kind. My dress was amazing - it was perfect! (all the other dresses I saw were fantastic as well).
They only do alterations on Monday and Tuesday nights - which was very inconvenient for me as I live out of town, but the drive was worth it! -

Ana's Bridal has many beautiful dresses to choose from. I found they had the best selection of gowns, bridesmaid dresses and mother of the bride dresses. The owner helped my daughter during her first appointment to find a wedding dress. She was protective of her and made sure my daughter, the bride, was getting what she wanted and not what I wanted, which I appreciated. The beautiful gown my daughter picked out was a lot less expense than I thought it was going to be. Their prices are reasonable. The bridesmaids all bought their dresses there and were happy. It took a long time for my daughter's dress to come and and there was some confusion about the delivery date even though she ordered it 7 months before the wedding. We made many calls to find out about delivery as it was getting very close to the wedding date and most times the calls went to voice mail and we didn't get a call back. The dress finally came in and they accommodated her for the fitting but the alterations were expensive. Everything worked out and the wedding gown was gorgeous and all the other dresses were beautiful. -

My experience at Ana's was a pleasant one. I had seen my dress at a different Bridal shop but wasn't really happy with the service they were providing. Ana offered a discount on my dress and free alterations for me and my bridesmaids if they purchased their dresses from her. She ordered me my dress and my bride�s maid�s dresses and we were extremely satisfied with the level of professionalism. (1 wedding gown, 6 bridesmaid dresses). My mom purchased her dress else where and brought it to Ana's for the alterations, and loved the finished product.
I wanted to purchase 3 flower girls dresses from them to; but after contacting them numerous of times about product (which they were one of the few shops that sold that specific designer in RI, I was told that they no longer sold it. I chose a different dress from another designer but never got a response to my questions or phone calls regarding it. I ended up going to another shop to get the flower girls dresses. what made me upset is that a few weeks later I went to Ana's and the flower girl dress that I wanted to purchase and was told that they no longer sold that designer, was displayed in a mannequin.
After months of searching we ended up getting the suit rentals from Ana's shop (14 suits). The suits looked great. We did have a few issues with sizes once the suits arrived; which made a couple members of the wedding party upset; jackets were either too big or too small or shoe sizes were an issue, and according to them "the service was terrible and the staff was not helpful in fixing a problem that it was caused by the staff after they measured the guys for the suits". But for the most part things were taken care of; it's hard to deal with lots of different personalities. It could have been handled in a better which it would have avoided less problems and arguments between us and the bridal party.
Overall my experience at Ana's was great, my dress was beautiful and the BM's dresses came out great, and even though there were issues with some of the suits, they were very helpful with measurements of members of the wedding party that lived overseas. I even referred a colleague to Ana's and she ended up purchasing her gown from there.

I was a previous bride at Anas and all i can say is that it was a remarkable experience. The staff was always friendly, and the alterations were amazing. But most of all i am privlidged to have met Ana she is an incredible woman who makes you feel just like family. I had gone to eight stores before finding my dress at Ana's Bridal. Ana knew what would fit my body well and she found exactly what I was looking for. I ended up with a gorgeous alencon lace dress. When it came time for my fitting, Ana's Bridal was really flexible since I was coming from out of state. They were able to alter my dress within a day or two. My only complaint is that Ana promised that my alterations would be free when I bought the dress, but when it came time to leave with the dress, I was charged over $200 for alterations I did not expect. My bridesmaid and mother who were there when I bought the dress also remembered being told that alterations were included. Overall, the dress came out beautifully and Ana altered my maid of honor's dress, as well. They were flexible with timing, I got a great dress at a great price. I was just saddened by the alteration surprise. I need to remember to get everything in writing. -

I absolutely loved my dress! The fittings are only done on Mondays and Tuesdays, so keep that in mind and they are expensive! I spent almost $400 on alterations alone! They are very talented seamstresses, I had to go back the day of my wedding to change the train and they literally saved the day! -

I purchased my wedding gown and had the alterations done at Ana's. They were flexible about when I could come in for my alterations and they did a great job. My dress was absolutely beautiful. I got it off the rack at a great price so it needed a fair amount of alterations and they were excellent! Michelle did my last fitting and she was very reassuring. There were dresses in a huge range of prices and styles. My only complaint was that at initial visit I was a bit frustrated because the girl that was helping me upstairs seemed impatient and somewhat put out by the amount of dresses I wanted to try on. Otherwise everything was great and my dress fit perfectly. -

When i went with my bridesmaid to actually pick out the dresses the staff were amazing and made sure that everything was the way i wanted. When it came to my bridesmaids to do their fitting they all seemed to have a problem with the service. They were all told different prices for the same exact alternations. One of them were told that the hem would be $30 and the other was told $35. not a big deal they just paid it but the price should be the same if its the same thing. they were both the same dress size and the dress length was also the same so not sure why one was $5 more than the other. Besides my bridesmaid having trouble with the service that was provided. Ana the owner was the best and she was always so friendly and knew me by my name every time i went there. She helped me pick out the most beautiful hair piece ever. -

I chose Ana's because of their seamstress. I was really pleased that they were able to match the 20% off that I was offered at another vendor. However, my alterations were not completed at promised (the beading was not taken out from under my arms), yet I was charged full price. Also, they tried to make me order the dress several sizes larger so that it would 'fit for sure'... I know it's likely that I would gain/lose weight, but it seemed to me clearer that they wanted the revenue from tailoring. -

Ana's has really knowledgeable staff and can find you lots of dresses that fit the style you are looking for very quickly. I had a great experience at Ana's . Overall, my experience with Anna's Bridal was great! The dress was BEAUTIFUL and so was my veil. My dress did take over 9 months to come in and the veil came in like 3 weeks before the wedding which made me a bit nervous, but it all came in and was ready for my big day! They were not, however, very accomodating to me and my girls which is why I went elsewhere for my girl's dresses. It was only once the dress was paid in full did this happen. They told me I could only come in during the week- daytime which is COMPLETELY unrealistic because most people work including myself. Then they told me I could come in in the evening but definately NOT the weekends which works best for me because of my job. They said no because those days are for shoppers only which really blew me away because my grama spent just under $2000 for my dress so you'd think they would be accomodating, but no. Thats the only thing I have to say negative... Other than that, when I went there to try on dreses with were very professional and helped me pick out my dress quicker than I thought being that I went to one other place and was soooo overwhelmed! The store is in great condition and they have a lot to choose from! I guess I have to say, quality overrules the negatives! Thank you for a GEORGOUS dress!!!!! -

It was very difficult to find a dress that fit well, in my budget, and in a style that worked for my body. I tried on at least 100 dresses before I found Anas. It took Ana less than 10 minutes to find the perfect dress for me.
After the dress was purchased, I have slightly mixed reviews, but the dress was beautiful and magnificently altered.
Pros: Great selection, reasonable pricing, local shop.

Ana's Bridal is a mixed bag when it comes to purchasing a wedding dress. I had a wonderful time trying on dresses and had a wonderful consultant. I think their dresses are fairly priced but I wish the cost of alterations were more clear. You are just told what it will all cost after the second fitting and I'm still not sure how the pricing for steaming the dress works. I'd recommend Ana's but say don't be shy about asking for an explanation on their alteration/steaming pricing when you purchase. -

While their work is beautiful, if you are on a budget, look elsewhere.
Anna's is a small shop that really cannot accommodate more than one bride shopping at a time. The saleswoman was helpful and pulled dresses that match my style. She never asked my budget so I was very relieved to find out the dress I had tried on and fallen in love with was actually in my price range.
When they called to let me know my dress came in I was very anxious to try it on, now that it was in my size. The woman said I could make an appointment to see my dress only on a Monday or Tuesday. I work and live over an hour away from Anna's so going during the week really was not an option. After a lot of back and forth she finally allowed me to make an appointment on a Friday evening. My mom and I were the only ones there and all I did was slip the dress on, look in the mirror, and take it off, we did not ask for any assistance and I was not altering it yet.
When it finally was time to alter it, they only do it on Mondays or Tuesdays and only within a month of the wedding date. (Luckily, I got some time off of work). The dress was extremely big on me and about three inches had to be taken in down both sides. Because of all the work, I had three separate appointments. By the last appointment the dress looked and fit beautifully! They created a bustle but it still dragged a little bit it looked like a short train. When I asked to have it picked up so it didn't drag they insisted that it looked better the way it was done so I didn't push it. I really regret this decision because although it looked great, people were constantly stepping on it while I was dancing to the point that the bustle clips broke off. The alterations came out great but be prepared for a huge price tag!! Their alteration prices are extremely high compared to other shops and they do not tell you the price unless you ask. Stemming and a garment bag are not included in the price so be sure to ask. -

I feel like I overpaid for my dress and my bridesmaids did not get a great value for their dress either.
The alterations were great,but if I had to have paid for them it would have been expensive... I was able to talk my dress price down with alterations included.

I'm really torn about this particular vendor. At the end of the day the dress looked great and fit perfectly and I got a really great price on its so I'm happy and would definitely do it all over again. But, as others have pointed out there was a lot of stress along the way. They are extremely unorganized. I showed up for my second fitting and the dress wasn't ready -- apparently they didn't know I was coming in even though it was right there in the appointment book. Then they made me feel like it was my fault for scheduling my fittings too far in advance of the wedding which was ridiculous because they accepted the appointment and I'd explained to them why I was doing them so early. I also made the mistake of not asking for a quote on alterations before starting them and they ended up being quite expensive and a lot more than I had expected. In summary they have a great selection, good prices on dresses and do a great job with alterations but they need to work on customer service and organization. -

I found that the selection of dresses was great but the service and responsiveness was not that great. They had multiple people working on my dress and every time I went back for a fitting they would have to redo something because they last person did it wrong. The dress itself came out amazing but the stress up until then was not worth it.Ana's Bridal Boutique & Tuxedos's reply:

If i was able to find my exact wedding dress somewhere else i would jump at the chance. My dress was beautiful and i wouldnt change it. They book too many people at once and the basement is crowded. You feel like a fast food restaurant: you go in, they change one or two things, they ship you out. They messed up my sisters MOH dress then accused her of lying. They messed up my Jr. Bridesmaid dress straps. They ordered the wrong sizes for two of my bridesmaids ( they were much too big, didnt even stay up when zipped.) The majority of my bridesmaids got their dresses altered somewhere else. I would have as well, but i was able to get free alterations. The girls there were all scatterbrained and didnt communicate well with each other. I was waiting for almost two hours to get my dress the day before my wedding because it wasnt steamed already and come to find out it was steamed and placed in the dressing room. No communication at all. They have friends come over during the middle of the work day to chat while I was there waiting for my dress. Never would recommend them to anyone. -

i found out on my wedding day the back panel was taken out of my dress leaving my undergarments showing
and Ana did not mention it to me knowing they would show even when tightened all the way. -

I found a dress I adored online but had an incredibly "cheapy" budget in mind. Ana's carried it, so I went to see it and a few others once I discovered it exceeded my personal budget. They went out of their way to borrow samples of the dress I finally decided upon which I appreciated.
Once the deposit was in hand, totally different story. They don't answer the phone! My dress and my maids were both purchased there and it was a nightmare to do fittings. We'd pretty much show up because we couldn't get anyone on the phone. Everyone was helpful once we were there but all you could hear was the incessant ringing.
I had a final fitting and arrived two days before the wedding for pickup. I saw the dress, took it home and didn't think much about it until the big day. While getting dressed my MOH and BM noticed some errant threads on the zipper. These threads warped the zipper, making it jump off its track and making my dress unable to be zipped closed. I think they were left from the alterations because I tried it on twice earlier with no problems. I had myself SEWN into the dress and showed up late to my wedding. I don't know if Ana's can be blamed per se...but nobody had time to think about it, the problem just needed fixing.
I'm sure however, if we had called for help no one would have answered the phone!!!! -

awful alterations
I bought my dress from this bridal boutique. I felt like the experience of trying on different dresses and what not went fine, not great, but fine. The alterations, however, are a different story. Put simply, the workmanship on the nearly $3,000 dress was TERRIBLE. Ana was supposed to do something to the bottom that she did not do. The dress had lace appliques on the bottom. At the first alteration appointment, she took scissors and cut the bottom. My mom and I must have look concerned because she said" do not worry-I will fix this with your alternations." Well guess what? THE UNEVEN LINE is what was left. She never fixed the bottom. Thank god no one would notice except myself and my mom. If you look at the dress its literally uneven because she cut it so fast. I am not sure if she forgot to go back and fix it or what. Truthfully I have told anyone who has asked for recommendations on alterations to NOT go here. Also, she has you come back right down to the wire...which may be good so that the dress fits perfect on the big day, but not great because it was so close she wouldn't have had time to fix it. Super disappointed and I would NOT recommend. -

I bought my dress from Ana's Bridal in February and was told it would be in end of July/beginning of August. I called them at the end of July and I was told it would be in the first week of August and they would call me when they received the dress. I called them again mid August, still did not have the dress. It was not until the second week of September when my dress finally came in. My grandmother actually went into the store to ask where my dress was and told them it was supposed to be in the end of July beginning of August. Their response was that they didn't know who told me that and that the dress is coming in right on time. For the record, the owner told me that when I bought my dress and so did the person I spoke to on the phone when I called back in July. Also, everything but the first deposit you put on the dress had to be paid in cash or money order. This is not only annoying, but makes me wonder how much money they are really making on these dresses by making everyone pay them in cash. The dress did come out beautifully, but it just seemed that you were getting nickle and dimed for everything. You even had to pay extra for the dress to be steamed after alterations...it just seemed like something that should be done automatically after alterations.Ana's Bridal Boutique & Tuxedos's reply:
We are sorry that you felt that way and we apologize if you didn't receive the gowns in the time frame you expected. Ana's has no control of Production and shipping of Gowns. All gowns are made over seas and the process to make each dress from scratch and have them shipped does take time. We have never had any designer accept and order and not fulfill the order. Yes things can get stressful with planning weddings but we always assured you that the gowns would arrive and that we could complete any alterations within 12-24 hrs if needed or sooner. But there is times when gowns have to be or could be rushed based on order time. We do not know if there is a rush fee until we place the order with the company. Gowns normally take 3-5 months to receive at our boutique. We have no control on the timing of ordering or when the final bridesmaid orders. We can only follow rules but if you look back on your contract it does state " rush cuts may be required depending on company and timing of place an order " So all i can do is say sorry if there was any misunderstanding. We do appreciate your Business and hope you had a wonderful wedding. -

I am using Ana's Bridal Boutique to get my bridesmaid dresses. Not only did they have the designer line I wanted, but they had pretty much all the dresses available from that line (all my bridesmaid are picking out different style dresses). Scheduling a day to come in was super easy, the store is really lovely and the assistants are great at helping at your appointment. Also, I have a large wedding party (seven bridesmaids, and all over the country from Maine to Hawaii), Ana's were able to get me the costs for each dress and with a little discount. I am so happy with the quality of customer service, the wide selection of bridesmaid dresses, and all the assistance i received! So happy I picked Ana's Bridal Boutique.
***Update, after ordering my seven dresses and being told that it would take 3-4 months to get, the dresses actually came much later than that, with me reaching out every week multiple times. I couldn't get my dresses to my bridesmaid till three weeks before my wedding. Also, I originally wrote a 5 star review, which they decided to dispute, who does that? Don't bother going here. The stress isn't worth it. -

I ordered my bridal gown and my bridesmaid's gowns through Ana's. When we went to pick out our dress, the lady who helped us was very nice. I told her what I wanted and she did a pretty good job. I ended up going with something completely different than what I had imagined! It was all downhill after that. We ordered the dress in Ivory (which was the color I had tried on) and we bought the veil in Ivory that same day. I ordered the dress in February and it didn't come in until September and they wouldn't let me try it on until a month before the wedding, which I wasn't happy about. So, I go to my first fitting and the dress is white, bright fluorescent white. I told the woman about it and she said that this was the color I ordered. We went back and forth for a little and then she looked on the receipt and the lady we ordered with had in fact wrote white down. It's partly our fault for not double checking, but when we bought an ivory veil and explicitly told her we wanted an ivory dress, we did not think we had to. Luckily, they had an ivory dress in a smaller size which I was able to fit into without any alterations, so it ended up working out. Then, when I came back to see how the bustle came out, it wasn't finished. Half of it was still undone and they tried to convince us that that was the way it was supposed to look. Also, everything is a la carte, it cost us $75 to get the dress steamed and another $30 for the garment bag, which you would think would be included. On another note, the alteration staff was rude and condescending. Some of my bridesmaids got their alterations done here and it did not come out right at all. I'm so glad I didn't need to get my gown altered. If I were you, I would steer clear of Ana's and go somewhere else that won't give you a headache. There's enough to worry about during the wedding planning process. Getting a gown shouldn't be one of them. -

I don't like to give negative reviews, and I am rarely one to complain, as I am pretty easy going, but this has to be done: RUN RUN RUN away from this place! What a horrendous experience for me as the bride and my bridesmaids! I could write a book on all the issues, but I will try to be as concise as possible. The main point is that they lure you in with individual attention and "deals," yet once you have chosen and paid them, they are chaotic, unorganized, inattentive, impossible to get a hold of, and constantly charging you for things they NEVER told you about.
Some examples:
I was looking into possibly adding a halter or shoulder straps to my dress. Ana showed me some options, pinned them into the dress, and never said another word. After I left, the one helpful staff member in the entire place, came into the parking lot to tell me the strap costs $495! But they would "let" me have it for $350 (I did not get the strap).
ALL of us, bride and bridesmaids, were charged for steaming the dresses, as if any of us were going to walk out with wrinkled dresses, even though Ana I had free alterations (steaming is not included apparently, another thing I wasn't told ahead of time).
I was told I had free alterations, only to get a call the day I was picking up my dress trying to sell me a garment bag (another added cost that is not told to you or included - I didn't buy one from them) and was told I owed $300! Once I reminded them I had free alterations, they said they would have to find my contract. When I went to pick up the dress, they again tried to charge me $300. In the end, it cost $75 for the steaming. Oh, and all final payments and alterations have to be paid in CASH.
The bridesmaids were all ordered dresses that were too big, and some of them were charged $100 for alterations.
The character limit doesn't allow me to post the rest, but the point is this is not the place to find good customer service, attention, value, or cost disclosure.

DO NOT GO THERE! They ordered me completely the wrong dress size. It was about 5 sizes too big. When I asked if they would charge extra for alterations, they said no. Well, when it came time to get my dress. They charged me a crazy amount of money. SO UNPROFESSIONAL. I would never go back there again. They only have certain times during the week you can even go to pick up your dress. It was difficult to find time to even make it there. They are clueless. Go somewhere else! -

I went to Ana�s for my bridesmaid dresses. We were not all that impressed with the service there. I ordered the dresses in April for an August wedding and I was told that they would come in on time with no problem. Three weeks later I received a message from Ana�s saying that each girl would have to pay $20 extra to have the order rushed or else they would not be on time for the wedding. I was frustrated with this fact and when I called back several times to inquire about it no one ever picked up the phone!

Although the selection was pretty good at the store - the service isn't. You def don't get that 'special' feeling. You don't even feel like a bride! They weren't very responsive as far as what I wanted done for alterations. I would have brought the dress somewhere else for that, but the alterations were already included in the price I paid for the dress....so I was stuck there. The dressing room for the fittings was always soooo warm. With a tight dress on and having to wait in it until it's your turn - I was blotting my head with tissues wiping my sweat! When there were other brides in the fitting room it didn't matter that my appointment was before them - if they were early and got in their dress first - she would take them and I would have to wait -even though I was on time!!! I don't know - there were quite a few issues where my mom and I would say we wish I had gotten the dress somewhere else. -

the only reason I am not giving them 0 stars is because my dress looked great, and in the end all of their mistakes were resolved before the wedding. To sum it up- This place is terrible-seriously DO NOT GO THERE! The only reason why I did was because they were the only place within 50 miles that carried the designer for my dress?but from day 1, we had issues?.they promised us a deal on everything because we were buying all dresses and tuxes from them (7 dresses and 11 tuxes) yet when we were ready to purchase, they said they never agreed to that. Then, they called about 2 months before the bridesmaid dresses were supposed to be in, and said that they had come in early and everyone had 30 days to pay the final balance. I?ve heard of paying the balance before alterations begin, but seriously, no one was prepared for that on such short notice- especially when they have stupid rules about the balance being due in cash only. Next up, my BM dresses had a lot of stitching that created almost ?bustle-like? pick-ups all over the back of the dress. Before I ordered the dress, I asked if that could be removed because I wanted the dresses cut tea-length. I was told it wouldn?t be a problem. I even went with my MOH for her first fitting to show them exactly what I wanted done to the dress-again, all of the stitching could come out-no problem. Fast forward to the week of the wedding, I find out from one of my BM?s that they left two of the stitches-one on each side of the dress. I called Ana?s and was told that in order to remove those, it would require taking apart the entire seam of the dress, and if I wanted it done it would be another $15-$20 per dress. I told her that alterations should have been free, and she said that what I was asking for wasn?t an alteration it was a cosmetic fix of the dress. Regardless?.this was NEVER brought to my attention when I ordered the dress the year before or the month before at the fitting! What it came down to, was that they got to the end, realized it was going to be too much work, and then fed me a bunch of BS to get more money. I almost just paid the $120 to have them fixed because I wasn?t going to make my BM?s pay more at that point. Well in the end, I didn?t love the dresses, but I didn?t down-right hate them, so it wasn?t worth the money. Finally, the tuxes were a DISASTER! They make you go in 4 months before the wedding, but then the tuxes get delivered the week of the wedding! 7 out of 11 tuxes had issues-shirts too small, pants not hemmed, wrong sizes altogether, missing shoes. My dad?s tux came in the DAY BEFORE the wedding. The nephew?s tux jacket had to be picked up the MORNING OF the wedding. One of the other groomsmen?s jacket didn?t fit and the girl at Ana?s told him ?oh well you must have gained weight because we measured you right.? Then, the same girl is telling a dad that whoever measured him must have written down the wrong numbers, and he looks right at her and said ?it was you?.Ana's Bridal Boutique & Tuxedos's reply:

Look else where
I’ll start by saying Do Not Use Ana's Bridal Boutique for your wedding and here is why! Nov 4th 2023 Day of our fitting didn’t go hot!
We didn’t have great costumer service at all, we had one women who talked to us to start about where the dresses were on the racks but then didn’t assist us hardly,
We ended up trying on a bunch of dresses and helped our selfs to using the clips on the dresses to make them look fitted ( usually the consult helps with this process) we did it ourselfs for the most part. We order dresses that day Dresses take 3-5 months now I understand that things happen and delays can happen. But communication is importance!!!
This boutique doesn’t do that well and that during bridal planning can be extremely stressful!!! So sharing my time line of contact

Feb 28 th phone call 📞, email 📧, FB message (over the corse of the day)

I did share concerns with her about dresses taking awhile and worried about fittings, they said they would fit then for us…I told her no we didn’t trust them at this point with lack of communication and had someone amazing in our state to help get it done!
I got a response 3 times in total over 6 month
Needless to say we thankfully got our dresses a little over a week before the wedding.
Also they are not liated as a Morilee retailer, we are trying to confirm that now with Morilee directly! -

Ordered a mother of the bride dress, tried to contact them and they NEVER answer the phone or return your call. Eventually called because they could not get the color I wanted (which is why I ordered the dress).... again, tough to get them to respond. Would not work with me to cancel the dress... finally came 1 month before wedding in different color :| -

No communication, dresses barely in on time.
I am a bridesmaid, we purchased out dresses in January and they got in three weeks before the wedding! We barely had time for alterations which were rushed, lacked any communication (including booking apts for us without our knowledge, having apts cancelled and needing to be rescheduled in the final 2 weeks before the wedding. Save yourself the stress and don’t go here. -

Horrible Experience!
Horrible experience! I am the father of the bride and this was beyond horrible place to do business! Rude, and disrespectful! Five bridesmaids dresses they measured and ordered. ALL came in TOO SMALL! They tried at first to blame the girls...but all 5 girls were wrong?! Finally they said they would rework the dresses. They also said the girls would only pay for the hemming and the alterations would not be charged. After multiple trips back to the shop, the last dress was done the night before rehearsal. AND when they went to pick up the dresses, the shop made the girls pay for all the alterations in CASH! NEVER GO TO THIS DRESS SHOP! -

Horrible Customer Relations
I have never experienced a business who treats their customers in such an AWFUL manner. My experience with Ana's Bridal was the worst. They undersized my entire bridal party and refused to take responsibility for their mistake. Finally, after promising to help fix their mistake, they proceeded to scam us by verbally committing to alter the dresses free of charge and then lying to us and charging us in cash for alterations that were not even requested with consent by the customer. NEVER go to Ana's Bridal. They rip you off and have the worst customer service I have ever experienced. They are unfriendly and an awful store to do business with. -

*This is extremely long, but it's everything I went through with this bridal boutique*
I ordered a wedding dress with Ana and it came in with no problem. When my dress came in and I was first trying it on, Ana told me she would have to take the dress up a bit at the shoulders so the body sat on me properly, not a problem. I started looking for shoes that would fit perfect with my dress so I wouldn't have to get it helmed. I brought in a pair of heels that I absolutely loved and Ana herself okayed them! She said that if I went with those I wouldn't have to get it helmed--perfect! I mentioned what she had said before about bringing the dress up a bit at the shoulders and she changed her mind saying, No she wouldn't have to do that, wear those shoes and you'll be fine.
I tried to get my dressed altered as soon as possible and she wouldn't do it until exactly one month before my wedding. During my wait I called her Boutique multiple times asking if my veil had come in (so I could test it out with hair trails) and I was either told they would check and call me back (which never happened) or that it wasn't and they would call when it was (which also never happened). Fast forward to getting my dress altered and sure enough Ana took it up at the shoulders. When I tried it on after the first alteration I was devastated. My dress was about 5" off the floor with my heels on. I told her I was disappointed with it and all she had to say was “I had to do it,” and she even asked me if I planned to wear those shoes the whole time?! Like yes!!! I okayed them with you. So, she tells me to find a new pair of shoes or she can add more lace to the front of my dress..I found new shoes, and I tried to put the issue behind us as there was only a couple weeks until the wedding.
During this whole ordeal Ana brought out “my” veil for me to try on with my dress and it was not even close to what my veil was supposed to be. I had ordered a plain cathedral veil for 150$ and another 150$ worth of extra lace from my dress to put onto it. What she showed me was nothing of the sort. I asked her if it was the one she had made and she responded with no this is the one you ordered. I refreshed her memory about how we ordered a plain one with extra lace for her to make it and she said “ oh well I have no control over what the designer sends me” ummm..WHAT? Then she told me she would give me one of the veils she had in store and put the extra lace we had on that. I was fine with that because again.. we were only weeks away from the big day. When I came in for my second to last fitting they had magically “found” my veil. Excuse me but how did she not remember making it and storing it away? And what about all those times I called asking for it? Did they not even go and look for it? Or was it just never made and then she did it quick and said it was hidden the whole time? Either way, it was done and I loved it so I moved on and tried to stay positive.
I was on the verge of tears when it came time to pay for the alteration. She showed me that it came to 590$ and I asked her if there was anything she could do about the price because I was disappointed that I couldn’t wear the original heels. She looked at me as if she how no clue what I was talking about. I explained the whole situation, about how SHE OKAYED the heels and then the dress ended up being too short. No word of a lie...she looked at me with a straight face and said “I’m going to say this and I’m not trying to offend you but, you are tall already and those were tall heels. It’s not my fault you are tall.”
We went on for about 15 minutes of me trying to explain to her that she obviously knew that the dress would have to be taken up (She told me the very first time I tried it on!) and that if she had said that the shoes wouldn’t have worked out then all of this could have been avoided. She kept insisting that she wouldn’t know that until the first fitting and the she doesn’t know what the alterations need to be done before then. I WAS APPALLED!! She was the so-called professional!!
My sister and maid of honor ended up stepping in and flat out told her to take money off simply for the fact that I wasn’t 100% happy. She looked at us and said “I know this isn’t much but hopefully this makes you happy” and she took 40$ off. I was so beyond upset I ended up accepting it and walked out.
Fast forward to picking the dress up THE DAY BEFORE my wedding. I was told it would be ready to be picked up in the morning and I ended up getting there at 12:43 (yes wrote down the exact time) and when the girl unzipped the storage bag I was baffled. My belt was not put on. I told her and she brought it to Ana. She told me it would only take a few minutes for her to do it. I waited 30 minutes for it and Ana brought it out to me with no apology! The belt wasn't even properly put on! I just left with my dress and fixed it at home.
NEVER GOING BACK!!!!! -

My dress was gorgoues BUT this place was terrible! The service was horrible. Oh and when they say free alterations they do not mean free. They took forever to alter it and kept making mistakes and then charging me for them. Would not go here if you do not want the extra trouble during your wedding. -

DO NOT USE ANA'S BRIDAL! I had the WORST experience with Ana's Bridal and would never recommend this place to any bride. The day I picked out my gown, the consultant was helpful and ordered the gown for me. I left a deposit and was given a copy of the receipt/contract that I signed. I was told it would take 6-8 months for the gown to arrive. 9.5 months later I finally received the gown. When I went to go pick it up, Ana's had a copy of the receipt with a different balance on it, stating that I owed $250 more than the copy I received the day I ordered the dress. Ana's daughter was extremely rude and have a very bad attitude as we tried to sort this out. Why would I pay more than the contract I received? Ana told us a mistake was made on my copy and the balance was really $250 more. I told them I was not going to pay since I was never notified over the 9.5 months that a mistake was made. Ana finally let it go and I paid the final balance of what was stated on my original SIGNED contract. Ana's daughter wrote on my final receipt that I refused to pay the correct balance! The original consultant who ordered my dress no longer worked there, which is a shame because she was the only friendly person there. I would never step foot in this place again. I am surprised they are still in business with their nasty and rude attitudes! Just a warning.. do not go here. You will get ripped off and get a rotten attitude with an experience that is supposed to be one of the the most exciting. -

Don't get anything from this place. It's nothing but a headache and the owner is extremely unprofessional. They believe they are always right even when you have evidence they are not. They are not willing to right any wrongs they have done. Stay away!!!! -

I will NEVER recommend this “boutique” to anyone…ever. I will be honest, I had read several horrible (not just bad) reviews about Ana’s before shopping there. I originally went to Ana’s in November of 2012 to look for bridesmaid’s dresses for my July 2013 wedding. My MOH and my GM purchased their dresses that day and I narrowed down a few for my BMs. We returned January 26th with my BMs and family. Each girl picked out their own dresses and they ordered that day. Before placing the order, we checked the colors on each of the dresses, signed off on everything, and were told by the two employees who helped us, that each dress was all set. In total we bought 6 BM dresses and 1 GMOB dress.Then it began…one week later, my aunt contacted me saying an employee from Ana’s called to tell her they made a mistake on one of the dresses she bought that day and that in order to get in the color we needed they would be charging us $15. I immediately contacted Ana’s and spoke to one of the employees that helped us that day, was put on hold 3 times before getting Ana herself on the phone. Ana explained that the dress company does not make that specific dress in the material or color I requested and I would have to pay $15 to get the right one. Nothing of the sort was explained to us the day we ordered. Ana continued to explain the situation telling me, “It’s not as if the dress costs an arm and a leg so $15 really isn’t that much money” (this is a direct quote...I wrote everything down during this conversation!). I then went on to explain I’d like to cancel the order, she told me that was not possible, then I told her I would be letting everyone know that their customer service is awful. She patronized me by telling me she wants everything perfect for me and my day and that she would like to fix it. At the end of the conversation, I asked who would be responsible for the $15 and she replied, “Well, sweetie, I think you are”. I never paid the $15!

I wish I could give this place a 0. I will say that I bought my dress there, and that dress was beautiful and I got it for a great price. The experience buying my dress was odd, but I did purchase. I should have stopped there. I unfortunately went for alterations, because I wanted a corset back and I thought they had a good deal, but the rest of my experience was a horror show. Every time you call, you take a huge gamble that the person answering has ANY idea what they are talking about. I called three times in one day and got three very different answers to my questions. They are not upfront about how much alterations cost, though if you look around downstairs, you can find the price list. And NOT ONCE did they discuss what they were doing to my dress nor how much it cost, so the final cost was a HUGE unpleasant surprise to me. When I purchased my dress, I bought the size she told me would be right (a size too small) because I wanted to add the corset back. However, when I had the corset added, they let out the sides, something they NEVER discussed with me, either before they did it, or after I came for another fitting, and it cost me $50. Apparently that was not the right size like I was told when I purchased the gown. I also had beading added, which was nice in the end, but was a terrible journey to get there. First, we discussed a preview of the beading before they did the whole bodice, and they did COMPLETELY the wrong thing. I did decide to get beading anyway and the next time I came it was almost complete, and a little more intense than I wanted, but what could I do? Have them take more time and money to fix it? Not after all the trouble I had. And in the end the beading was $250. It was so much more than I expected, I was NEVER told how long it would take and how expensive it would be. I could keep writing about several more horrors I dealt with with Ana's bridal, but I think I have made my point. DO NOT GO HERE, ESPECIALLY FOR ALTERATIONS! -

I went to Ana's to lookfor a wedding gown and left feeling confused and deceived. When I told thestaff about the style and the budget I'm looking for, they found a few dressesfor me to try on. I found one that matched what I was looking for, but theytold me that dress was discontinued, so the only way to get it was to buy thesample dress at a discount. The sample dress was a size 14 and I'm a size 5/6,not to mention, the dress was a bit worn out with a few pieces falling off..They assured me if I go with this dress, they can alter it to my size and stillretain its original form. I put a deposit down, but after I left I started toreconsider. I did some research, andfirstly I found out that the dress was NOT discontinued by the maker. Secondly, I found most people don't recommendthat a bridal gown be taken in more than two sizes, and at most 4, especiallywith a gown like this with a lot of lace or embroidery. Lastly, the cost they quoted me to resize andfix the dress was as much or more than the discount they gave me. I called backthe next morning to cancel, and the girl who helped me on that day told me Iwas confused and she never told me the dress was discontinued. When I mentionedabout the dress being too big to alter, she said they've done many times beforeto resize a dress size 14 to size 0, which I think is ridiculous, especiallyfor a v-neck dress. When I asked for the deposit back because they misled me,they refused even though I cancelled within 12 hours. They deceived me to try to sell me thisworn-out dress and then offered me complimentary services with a seamstress topatch things up. Overall, I feel that they are trying to make a sale and pullone over on me to get rid of a worn out sample dress. I should have read some of these reviewsbefore I went there, it would save me a headache. It was the first and the lasttime I'm going to Ana's. A lesson learned but I wouldn't recommend any of myfriends to go to Ana's. -

HORRIBLE!!! Do not EVER go there. They were suppsoed to order custom beading to match my dress, to make a strap with, when my dress came in (6 months after I ordered it, only 2 weeks before the wedding) the beading was not there, they then charged me $250 for a different strap. They told me for my flower girl they could sew more layers into her dress, to make her dress ivory and white, (because I had not thinking bought her dress there on clearance which was white and mine was ivory, which they refused to return or even give me credit towards another dress for) then after told me I didn't have enough fabric that came off my dress to do so. You would think they would have tons of extra ivory fabris lying around!! They also tried overcharging me numerous times, only to fix the mistake after I had to have them break down the charges. If I hadn't have asked they would have ripped me off $300 x-tra in the long run. All the mens tuxes were wrong, and they all had to be fixed and some even over night rush delivered because the first one ordered was wrong. The bustle of my dress ended up breaking on my wedding night and when I call to complain, respectively, I left 2 voice messages, they never returned a phone call. Honesly, more then this came about but its just too much to continue writing, and I think by now, you have my point! Do NOT EVER GO TO ANA"S BRIDAL BOUTIQUE AND TUXEDO!!!! THEY SUCK! I feel as though I should report them to the news, thats how disappointed I am with them! -

RUN!!! I have never seen such rude service in my life!! Although I made an app. two weeks in advance, it was as if they were doing me a favor just acknowledging my appointment. I had Ana herself and she practically brought me to tears!! She only let me try on 6 dresses(that many...as a favor..wtf) and tried to get me to buy one that was "close enough" to what I had in mind!! When I didn't like the dress she personally picked out, she dropped me and handed me over to a pony-tailed teen while she left to go check on alterations. She said she was busy and did not have any time left for me...eeek. It was 45 mins. in total...not as if I was there forever....can't imagine what would have happened if I bought a dress there and had a problem!!

Worst customer service experience ever...my bustle buttons fell off the first time we went to bustle it after our ceremony and had to hold it up with safety pins. I took it back later on to see if they'd offer to clean it or give me some compensation and was given extreme attitude. They blamed me and said it was impossible for it to have been their fault, they said I must have been too rough with the dress (all I had done was walk down the isle). Then a store clerk even chased me down the road in her car, yelling at me from her window saying it was my fault and that if I said anything they'd sue me for defamy. I was actually scared of them. YIKES!
My wedding day was beautiful and I didn't let it get to me. -

I cannot even put into words how awful Ana’s bridal is. We had a very bad experience with my best friend who ordered our bridesmaid dresses from here (which is a while story in itself) and I said to myself I would never ever come here again!
A few months later, I got engaged. I found a bridesmaid dress online that I liked and Ana’s was the only bridal shop in the area to carry it. I figured we could go and try the dress on, and if we liked it, we could just buy from another bridal shop. Long story short, when we got there we decided just to order the dresses strictly out of convenience. I thought maybe things would be different this time around. I was wrong. The customer experience (after ordering) was yet again awful. After over 3.5 months of not hearing anything, I called just to check on the status of the dresses. The owner answered and she was so incredibly rude. I asked if she could check on the status of my dresses and she basically just told me no and that they would call me when dresses came in. She never asked for my name, my wedding date, no info at all…. Just told me NO and that they would call me when they came in. It was a very unsettling feeling.
When the dresses came in, 2 of my bridesmaids dresses were too small!! They are both petite and did not gain any weight from when they were measured AND they both ordered the dress size recommended by the girl who measured them. So on top of everything, a couple of my maids had to pay extra from their tailor to let their dress out and borrow fabric from friends dresses to make it work. They also they said we could not pick up our dresses on the weekend and could only go on a weekday. Ridiculous!
I am so angry I gave this bridal shop my business! -

Awful, awful, awful. I would not recommend Ana's to ANYONE. They are unprofessional and oddly seem to inconvenience their customers at any chance. Throughout my whole experience with them, I encountered the most ridiculous "policies" -- which they seem to pick and choose when they adhere to. That aside, they are out and out rude and difficult. I have dealt with them now on three separate occasions, and each experience I had was awful. I am not sure how after seeing all these terrible reviews before me, and having received such poor service myself how this place continues to stay in business. I would never recommend and/or use this place again. -

Never, ever, ever go here. Dress was promised by 7/13/2012, and ultimately we had to contact the vendor ourselves because Ana's did not and dress had to be overnighted by the vendor. When we tried to ask them about their promised delivery date they hung up on me. Then we were told they would not honor the free alterations they indicated on the contract. The dress did not need alterations so they held the dress hostage until we paid an additional hundred dollars for the garment bag and to have it steamed. When my husband picked the dress up and asked about the charges, the sales girl acted confused and said steaming was only $15.00. Filed complaints with BBB and Attorney General's Office for fraudulent practices. Awful, awful, awful. -

I wish I knew then what I know now!
I found the prefect dress at an adorable little designer dress boutique in MA, but I decided to purchase it closer to home (Providence) for convenience sake. I called different dress shops, and Anas said that they carry the dress and can offer free alterations because of the high price of the dress. I was sold.
I made appointments to come in for every appointment, but it seemed like my meetings were never written down or expected, so I was always made to wait... so much for convenience.
Unfortunately, my dress was ordered two sizes too big, instead of the standard one size larger, and the dress needed tons of alterations. When the time came at the end, my alterations cost almost $600! They were NOT free, as previously advertised. The alterations were not exceptional. The seams at the sides didn't match up, which is important in the type of dress that I had. And there were big wrinkles on the sides. I asked if they could be steamed out, but I was told that the dress was already steamed and that the wrinkles would come out during wear with my body heat. They didn't.
Naively, I ordered a veil there as well. Turns out that Ana never ordered it, so on the last fitting day, two days before the wedding, I had no veil. Ana suggested another veil for an additional $120 on top of the cost of the veil I originally ordered and paid for in full. I had no choice but to take the new pricier veil and pay the additional cost.
BAD BAD BAD experience all around. I would not recommend the stress!

Its hard to Respond to this Review. We Gave you a discount and not free alterations its on your contract and its clear as day in black and white. Your alteration cost was not even close to 600.00 we have been in business for 12 years and have never once charged any customer that much money on alterations thats simply crazy. Your Total Price for alterations were $250.00 that included your bust, waist, sides, hem, bustle, steam. with unlimited fittings! Your Veil Cost was $120.00 for 1 layer it was your choice to add another veil for $80.00 more. so your total cost was $200.00 for your veil. Your Gown was ordered in a size 8 thats the size according to your measurments. We must order our gowns to your measurements So we are sorry for any Inconvience and Appologize. But we do what was stated on your order form contract and we give you an exact copy also. So Im sorry you felt that way and wish you the best. -
