Best day EVER
Jennifer made our “hallmark” fairytale wedding the most perfect day ever!! From all of the answered questions to making us feel like family, she helped make our day everything we dreamed of. She is very detail oriented and is a wonderful communicator with other vendors and the bride and groom. We couldn’t have asked for a better coordinator on the biggest day of our lives! Everything turned out AMAZING!! -

Best Coordinator / Florist EVER
We couldn’t recommend Jennifer enough!
She was the absolute BEST & I seriously don’t think I could have done the wedding day without her guidance. She was there for us from step 1. She was so organized, reliable, and took our vision and made it come to life. She took care of everything and our day was seriously perfect thanks to her and her team. I can’t even put into words how grateful we are for Jennifer! She also did an amazing job with our florals, they were perfect! Would recommend to anyone going through their wedding process to use Jennifer and trust her because she will not disappoint!!! We appreciate you, Jennifer! -

Incredible Long-Distance Wedding Planning Experience!
Jennifer, Brittany, Diane, and Kristina were so incredible to work with for our wedding weekend! My husband, Joe, and I planned our wedding in California from North Carolina. While I had been to the area years ago, Joe had never been. We relied HEAVILY on the An Occasion Events team to help us find trustworthy vendors, provide our BEAUTIFUL flowers, and plan our weekend. I know without a doubt that our wedding weekend would not have been a success without their professional team! The team went above and beyond to Facetime us during the planning process at our reception locations so we could get a better feel for what to expect the day of. Kristina went out of her way to make a trip to our ceremony location so she could take pictures there and give us an idea of how people would need to stand for the ceremony. We were impressed with the planning process but it was the day of coordination that blew us away. Having such a great team made our day easy! We were able to spend time with our friends and family while the An Occasion Events team handled the logistics. We had a 10/10 experience with the An Occasion Team and would highly recommend working with them!-

Couldn't have done it without Jennifer!
Jennifer is an amazing wedding planner and coordinator, as well as florist. My husband and I hired her to for pre-planning, day of assistance and florals, and we truly could not have done it all without her. We were originally supposed to be married in June 2020 but for obvious reasons had to postpone. She helped us deal with both the practical and emotional toll and moved us towards a successful and gorgeous mini-wedding later that year. We then moved on to planning our full wedding for August of 2021 and when the day finally came, so many outside forces could have thrown the day into chaos (a fire and evacuations in the area the day before, 105 degree heat, looming COVID spikes) and yet again, Jennifer and her team pulled together a truly spectacular day.
A few touches that really stick out for us:
- She incorporated hops into my husband's boutonniere, which was so unique and special
- The vibe of the reception matched exactly with the vision that we had, with light blues, coppers and golds woven throughout
- The team created a short video of the day which was such a wonderful surprise
I'd recommend Jennifer to anyone for their wedding! -

Amazing & a must!
Jennifer and her team at An Occasion Events went above and beyond any of our expectations! Jennifer was always so responsive and there to help you with anything and everything. My husband and I were not sure we needed a wedding planner but SOOO happy we hired her to help with planning and day of services! She is a definite MUST! She did a great job with so many things where do we start....
An Occation Events & Jennifer did all this and so much more:
-getting our vendors all together and making sure everyone was organized before and day of without a hiccup
-keeping the day on track and making it so we didn't have to worry about forgetting to do something (great just to enjoy the day)
-Fixed my dress when it needed pinning up
-made me fantasy dream wedding come true!

So Easy, Stress-Free, and Gorgeous!
Jennifer, Kristina, and crew made my wedding picture perfect and a breeze from start to finish. Everyone talks about how stressful wedding planning is, but An Occasion took all the stress away. They considered all the details, took care of all the set-up and clean-up, so we didn't have to do a thing the day of. Additionally, everyone was so warm, personable, and communicative. Jennifer also took care of the flowers which were absolutely beautiful and got constant praise from everyone. She even went out of her way to find daffodils, my grandfather's favorite flower, for his table setting since he had passed away unexpectedly just a few months before the wedding. I couldn't have planned my wedding without An Occasion, and I'm beyond grateful for everything they did.-

Highly recommend
We cannot imagine what our wedding weekend would have looked like if we had not hired Jennifer. Despite the challenges of 2020, Jennifer never wavered in her support and encouragement to us as we faced many difficult decisions. She strikes a perfect balance between providing guidance and listening to what matters to her clients.
Not only was she a rock for us in an ever changing environment, we enjoyed working with her on a creative level—designing beautiful flower arrangements, layouts, schedules, providing and recommending rentals that fit our particular styles, and vendors.
Jennifer is an experienced planner and does whatever it takes to get things done. On top of that, she cares and we felt a special bond with her throughout the process. We think anyone who gets to work with her is lucky and are so grateful for her and her talented team. -

Jennifer Was A LifeSaver!!!
I can’t express how much Jennifer meant to me throughout the entire wedding process. I’m a pretty organized person so I didn’t think I needed a wedding planner, but when you throw a pandemic into the wedding process, I can’t tell you how helpful it is to have a person like Jennifer by your side. I’ve had the pleasure of working with her for a year while planning my wedding. She is very direct and to the point, which I actually appreciated because there were times where I couldn’t make a decision and she knew me well enough to know what I would want. Also, there were so many rules and last minute restrictions due to the pandemic, but Jennifer had everything handled. I would text her late at night or during the weekend because I would have last minute panic attacks about something and she would answer me promptly and resolve the matter, no matter what the problem was. She truly is a professional and I can’t recommend her enough as a wedding planner. -

What a RELIEF!! A Wedding Coordinator is a must!! Thank you An Occasion Events!
I CANNOT imagine what we would’ve done without Jennifer and her staffs’ services! She made our wedding an absolute dream and SERIOUSLY took a lot of stress off our shoulders, for example, waking up the next morning as newlyweds to find out that Jennifer and her team have already packed up and cleaned the reception hall-taking care of all rental clean ups/returns! She made everything feel like a breeze, not to mention walking into our reception to see all of the beautiful decor I had envisioned all put together and beautiful! She takes care of ALL behind the scenes, organized EVERYTHING from vendors to guests to timelines...everything! Like I said I don’t know what we would’ve done without her, my husband and I were able to just ENJOY♥️ Thank you Jennifer from the bottom of our hearts!! -

Above and beyond...
Jennifer and her team worked above and beyond with us from the beginning of our wedding planning. The flowers she provided we're gorgeous and she included personal affects among her designs. Would highly recommend her for anyone needing florals for their special event! -

Amazing Wedding Coordinator
Jennifer was great to work with and was a huge help. We hired her as a day of coordinator, but she worked with us throughout the whole process leading up to the wedding, contacting each of our vendors, making sure everyone and everything was in place. She is also a florist and did all of our flowers which were stunning! The day of we didn’t need to worry about anything, she took care of it all so we could relax and enjoy our day! -

Jennifer with An Occassion Events was honestly the main reason our wedding was so successful and why we managed to keep our heads screwed on throughout the whole planning process. She bent over backwards to not only answer every question and cater to every whim, but also put in extra time to help bring our creative and crazy ideas to fruition! Jennifer is the best decision we made regarding our wedding and by the time our wedding rolled around we were sad to not have a formal reason to work together with her anymore. We consider her a wonderful friend, and we are so grateful for everything she did to help organize our wedding and decorate it with beautiful flower arrangements! -

Jennifer and her team were absolutely amazing! If it weren’t for her, things would have been chaos. We were right in schedule the entire time, and Jennifer was always there to get us where we needed to be. Jennifer worked so well with all of the vendors and kept in contact with them through the entire planning process so we didn’t have to. I live in Boise, ID, but got married in CA, and she managed to keep everything organized and meet with the vendors so I didn’t have to worry about a thing. Jennifer and Suzette made the most beautiful flower arrangements I have ever seen, and we had no expectations for the decor, which was absolutely STUNNING! Everything looked so amazing together, and people were continuously complimenting her work.
You can tell that Jennifer loves what she does, and I was reminded of this so much when she got teary eyed as we were ready to walk down the aisle. I’m sure she sees weddings every weekend, but they still manage to make her emotional, which was so special to me.
Our wedding day was the best day of our lives, and we owe a HUGE thanks to Jennifer and her team. -

Jennifer and her crew were simply AMAZING! We were married at The Higuera Ranch in San Luis Obispo near where we met and currently live in the bay area. From start to finish Jennifer was always one step ahead and kept us on track every step of the way. Although my husband and I as well as Jennifer all lived 3-4 hours away from the venue location, she still kept in communication with all of our vendors without a flaw. I thought I had a lot of creative ideas for our big day until Jennifer came in and really made my country wedding come to life with all of her professional touches. I highly recommend reaching out if you are looking for a perfect florist/planner combo! Heads up she books up fast!-

An Occasion was our coordinator and did our flowers for our wedding last summer. I was so happy with everything. Once Jennifer became my coordinator, I felt a huge relief. I was always able to get a hold of her always and is easy to talk to. She kept me updated on all plans and changes, including with my other vendors. She brought up so many ideas that I incorporated into my wedding to make it run and look better. She kept our personality in all of the decorations. My husband and I's opinion mattered first, most of all. An Occasion is amazing!-

I was a very hands on bride and I did a lot leading up to the wedding. By the time it was our wedding weekend I just wanted to enjoy, I was checked out of wedding planning! I trusted Jennifer to handle our day like she would her own and I didn’t have to worry about a thing. I was able to sit back and relax and I know that not every bride gets that luxury. We worked with Jennifer and her team for our wedding at Union Hill Inn. She was great at listening to our wants and desires and helping us to figure out how to make it happen. She helped with the wedding timeline and communicated with all vendors so that we could focus on other things (i.e. life lol). I didn't really feel like I needed a coordinator until the day of the wedding. With Jennifer's help, everything went smoothly and I didn't have to worry or think about a thing! She also helped with all setup and takedown! I couldn't recommend her more! -

Jennifer and I immediately connected at our first meeting. She was on the same page as me the whole time we were planning, in fact, she was more like 10 steps ahead! Jennifer went above and beyond for my daughter’s wedding this summer. Even though her son was in a nasty car accident the day before the wedding, she showed up and gave 110%. Everything was beautiful, I never knew about any of the behind the scenes problems.
Jennifer was amazing. I can’t imagine working with anyone else!-

Day Of Coordinator/ Florist
I got married in Yosemite and we had to change our wedding date due to the fires. I needed a day of coordinator asap and let me tell you that Jennifer is a lifesaver!! She took loads off my shoulders. This year threw so many curve balls in our wedding planning but Jennifer made our special day happen. I had a small intimate wedding and she was so sincere that even my family loved her. She was so professional and not to mention she was on top of everything! She also made our wedding florals and there aren't enough words to express how beautiful they were. Thank you Jennifer!! -

Knowledgeable & Responsive
Jennifer did a great job assisting us throughout the wedding planning process. She immediately responded to our email questions. If she had not heard from us in a while she would just drop us a quick line to make sure we were on-track. Jennifer was knowledgeable about all the workings, offerings, rules and restrictions at our wedding venue (Union Hill Inn - Sonora, CA). This intimate knowledge helped us utilize the venue to its full potential! Consider hiring for both coordination and floral scopes of work to eliminate an extra vendor. -
