From the first time Amy spoke to us to describe her working style and professional services, to the preparations leading to the day and the day itself, and the post wedding work afterwards, we are so pleased and happy with everything. First and foremost, the quality of the photographs is top notch, but more than that, Amy is so easy and flexible to work with. She is both a seasoned professional and a compassionate person, which for a wedding event, is hard to find. We are thrilled with the photos and the wedding album full of memories that we continue to cherish. -

Look no further for your wedding photographer! I researched and contacted several wedding photographers in the area and chose Amy -- and we could not have been happier! Having been a bridesmaid so many times, I've learned that not all wedding photographers are created equal. You need someone who is kind, flexible, responsive, efficient, FUN, and of course --- a talented photographer and photo editor! Amy was all of these things and more. Amy showed flexibility in rescheduling our engagement shoot twice for weather reasons (we had our hearts set on Lincoln Memorial/WWII memorial). On our wedding day, Amy was punctual, efficient, and always checked in with us to ensure she was capturing the shots we wanted. I appreciated that Amy had reviewed our wedding day timeline and gave us options/feedback to allow for sufficient travel time and photo-taking between locations. We were much more relaxed on the day because of her proactive communication! -

Erin Sent on 05/24/2018I initially did not want to hire a professional photographer for our small wedding. I am SO GLAD my husband convinced me we should hire a pro and that we found Amy. Amy is amazing. She was flexible on packages to meet our needs. Her communication was prompt and friendly. She arrived early on our wedding day. Even more important, taking pictures with Amy was fun. You can tell Amy really enjoys the work she does and genuinely cares about the couples she photographs. I was delighted by working with Amy and the final product. She deserves all the stars and then some!

We did an initial engagement session with her and loved our photographs, so the peace of mind that we experienced allowed us to relax and trust in her photographic eye. I specifically chose Amy because she had captured diverse events and ours was a unique wedding event over several days. Also, I loved her attention to detail, family dynamics, and maximizing the existing surroundings and environment to make each photograph gorgeous. She fit right in with the family, was extremely organized, and we received our wedding pictures before our agreed upon dates. She sets the standard for professionalism, ease, and pride in work. We are so grateful for you, Amy and can't thank you enough!

I hired Amy for my wedding on July 2017 at the Bellevue Conference Center in Chantilly, VA. It is one of the most expensive venues in northern Virginia. I was not happy with the overall results. First of, we did not use our engagement session which was part of the package because she did not want to take our photos in DC without a permit which she wanted us to pay for. We ended up using another photographer who took our photos in dc without needing a permit. However, I still used her for my wedding & I made the biggest mistake. This woman was a nervous reck on the day of my wedding. She was taking forever to take our pictures. She seemed indecisive & slow when taking our pictures. She made us stand too long til she takes the picture. I was getting frustrated & it all showed on my photos. There is a time while the wedding was going on we did a family picture on the Bellevue’s big staircase & my family & I were waiting for her to take the picture but instead snapping the picture she kept pausing to tell us move this way, fix this fix that while her so called assistant stood there watching instead of helping her to speed the process. She took FOREVER everyone got frustrated. It felt like we were standing there like a statue til she snaps the picture. Her assistant hardly helped. And the worst part of it when I got my pictures, they were not what I expected. Our pictures were’nt as clear and did not look good. We paid so much for our venue but made a mistake for not investing on a good photographer. Either way, save yourselve the headache & regrets. Pay a lil more and go with someone better. Good luck!
