  Amy is an absolute dream, truly. If you want a photographer who will not only provide you with some of the most stunning photos you've ever seen, but someone who will be a warm supportive presence by your side throughout your wedding day, she's the one. Not once did I ever feel like she pulled me out of the moment, and she and my husband both feel so special and beautiful all day long. I would give over 5 stars if I could, trust me and work with her, you won't regret it!!

  Amy is an absolute dream, truly.   Wonderful Experience!

  Amy photographed our wedding this September in the Bay Area and we couldn't have been happier. She was a joy to work with, before, during, and after the wedding, and we are so thrilled with the photos we got back. We'll certainly be recommending Amy to any couples searching for a photographer! We feel very lucky to have found her.

  Amy is amazing! If we had to do it over, we would absolutely pick her again. She communicated very clearly before the wedding, provided expert advice for timing and lighting and was able to accommodate every request. She has a keen eye for detail, she listens, and her attitude is the perfect calm you want around you on your special day. Every image had great composition, focus, and her trademark style. After the wedding she was able to deliver the final images faster than expected. We were blessed to have her be a part of our wedding.

  Could not have happened upon a better photographer! Amy was absolutely wonderful and so much fun to work with! She made us feel comfortable and relaxed for those posed shots and captured all of the beautiful in-between moments with our loved ones. Our wedding photos tell the story, emotion, organic beauty and magic of our wedding day. They are very much cherished and loved sharing our day with her!

  Full disclosure: I am writing this review before I have even received all of the wedding photos, and that's because I want to tell the world right now that you need Amy as your wedding photographer. It goes without saying that if you're here reading this, you've looked at her work and know she's incredibly talented. She will make you look the best you've ever looked (or will ever look again, probably...sorry :/ ).
  
  People are still raving to me about how awesome our engagement photos are. They are an absolute treasure that we will have the rest of our lives. If you're questioning whether it's worth the investment, I'm here to confirm that is abso-friggin'-lutely is. I was thinking about cheaping out on photography, but eventually realized that these are the things that your children and your children's children and your children's children's children will marvel at, and remark what a fox you were back in the day. Plus, once you meet Amy, you will unquestionably want to hire her on the spot. She's a fantastic human being who happens to take sick photos. Professional. Talented. Hilarious. Will put you at ease immediately. I don't know what else you could possibly want in a photographer.

  We're forever grateful that we had chance to work with Amy for our Yosemite wedding. She is a true professional: she demonstrated an amazing ability to listen to what we envisioned, make suggestions that would not have occurred to us, and the experience to capture candid moments we could not have foreseen.
  
  Her technical skill is superior, and her style is unique, but her passion for wedding and portrait photography sets her apart. We did a day-after session, and we all had so much fun running around northern Yosemite that the only thing that stopped her from shooting was the impending darkness and our tired feet. She's so good at her craft because she truly loves what she does, and you'll feel it the moment you meet her and see it in the delivered photos. When I look back at our wedding photos, I can feel the same the energy and love that I felt all weekend, and that is a priceless gift.

  We LOVED working with Amy. She made the whole photographer search seamless! Both my husband and I are kind of shy in front of the camera and in the spotlight, but Amy made us feel so comfortable on our wedding day and the photos are the proof of that. I love candid photos. We were lucky to have beautiful SF fog roll in during the outdoor shots to get the perfect moody look. All our of wedding party spoke highly of Amy after the event. If you're worried about the photographer/videographer relationship, don't worry. Amy is so down to earth and creatively open that her and our videographer were just feeding off of each other to create magic. I cannot recommend her enough. Choose Amy!

  Amy is not only a talented photographer, she is kind, warm, and super fun. From our first call, she was focused on getting to know us as a couple and as individuals. Her emphasis on relationship building is what put us at ease and set us up to be really comfortable and happy that Amy was by our side for virtually our entire wedding day! She was flexible with our ideas and what we wanted to get out of the day, but also offered great advice from her depth of experience. Her eye for details as well as the big picture & dramatic moments was perfect and we absolutely treasure the photos from our wedding. I'm so proud to call Amy a friend and couldn't recommend her highly enough!

  Amy is fantastically nice and incredibly passionate about what she does. She has the ability to make you feel completely comfortable, like a long-time friend is photographing your wedding. It's not often that my husband's true smile is caught in photography but Amy managed to capture some of my favorite pictures of him.

  Amy and her shooting partner Melissa were absolute joys to have at our wedding. They worked the crowd very well and were able to get incredibly beautiful, candid shots of us and our guests throughout the entire day of our wedding. Leading up to the big day, Amy sent me thorough questionnaires which were very helpful for setting up our timeline to allow for ample photography time. Both photographers worked tirelessly and really put all of their effort into getting us pictures that we will cherish forever. I would highly recommend Homespun Creative for anyone who wants to invest in a photojournalistic approach to their wedding photos. You won't get 100 photos of slightly different poses of the same groups of people, but you will get timeless images that truly represent you and your partner.

  I cannot say enough wonderful things about the ladies at Homespun Creative. We had Amy shoot our engagement photos, and then her and Melissa shot our wedding. They are not only amazing photographers, they are also wonderful people. If you want to have a genuinely fun time while shooting your wedding photos, you aren't going to find better photographers to work with. I would recommend them to anyone for any photography needs without hesitation.

  Excellent posed photos of the family, looked really natural and not too stiff. Great candids and such gorgeous romantic pics of my hubby and I. Great work with lighting and making everything look so glowing and warm. She was enthusiastic, efficient, low maintenance and easy to work with. Totally open to my ideas too.
