Amy was AWESOME! After a mini disaster I had with another vendor, I was so thankful to find Amy. She is very responsive and quick to get things done. Super down to earth and easy to work with. I felt completely comfortable telling her things I wanted to be different after the trial run. About a week before the wedding, I wanted to change my hair style a bit and Amy agreed to give me another trial run the day before the wedding! She nailed it too! I wish I could post pictures. I have a pretty substantial tattoo on my back that she covered. You can't even tell it was there! I felt picture perfect beautiful after Amy was done. What more could a gal ask for on her wedding day?!?

Amy and I went to college together and so, through Facebook, I was able to see her career as a hair and makeup artist. When I became engaged and began booking vendors, I knew that I wanted Amy as part of my team! Not only did Amy do my hair and makeup trial and bridal portraits, she and her assistant also drove from Plano to Royse City for my wedding. As a gift I paid for each of my seven bridesmaids to have their hair professionally done and a majority of them also chose to have their makeup done; Amy M and her team spent the morning and afternoon doing hair and make-up for a total of EIGHT girls.

During this time, she and her assistant were communicative, friendly and genuinely excited to be a part of my wedding. When they were done, we all looked STUNNING. Amy has a very special talent - she takes your natural beauty and dials it up to eleven. When I looked in the mirror, I didn't see a stranger - I saw the very best, most glamorous version of myself.

Amy was so great! She was so professional and her talent is amazing. All my bridesmaids and I were so happy with her hair and makeup. She made sure everyone looked perfect and didn't leave until all the girls were completely satisfied. She was a fantastic pick I made for our wedding! Lover her!

It's been a little over three months since our wedding and I still cannot believe what an amazing job Amy and her team did. She's definitely in the top 3 of my favorite wedding vendors. I had three bridesmaids, me, my mother and mother in law who got airbrush makeup and their hair done. It went absolutely seamlessly from the second they arrived. They arrived at the hotel we were getting ready at and each one of the ladies knew exactly what their responsibilities were and were absolutely willing to do anything we wanted or make any changes to the hair or makeup we asked for. The makeup on each of the women was beautiful and matched their skin tone, and personal style flawlessly. The hairstyles were perfect and held wonderfully outdoor in the humid Texas summer.
Honestly I can say that I have never felt as beautiful as I did on my wedding day and Amy and her team were some of the most friendly women I have ever met. She even made my mom feel comfortable in her hair and makeup which is a feat in itself as my mom has never ever worn makeup or had her hair done and was almost guaranteed to be uncomfortable.
Overall I would hire Amy in a heartbeat for any hair and makeup need! She's truly amazing.

Amy was absolutely amazing. She brought in 2 assistants to help out with everyone since our time was really short. Because I live out of the country, everything was done by email; sending pictures and discussing what I was looking for. She did it better than I could have ever imagined! She actually made me a Disney princess for my wedding. You will be more than satisfied using Amy! It was a dream come true!

Amy was well worth every penny! I hired her to do hair and makeup for my sister and myself for my wedding on 5/28. She was incredibly easy to get a long with and talk to, which I quickly learned in my hair and makeup trials. She listened to everything I wanted for my special day and made my hair and make up perfect. She had our hair and make up done quickly and beautifully on the day of. I would hire her again in a heartbeat so snag her quickly for your big day!

Amy & her team were amazing!! I was in love with my dress, but because the back of it was open I knew I had to put my hair in an updo... and I have never had an updo that I have liked. EVER. That was until I worked with Amy! She listened to my concerns/areas of discomfort with my hair being in an updo and made sure that the updo we did worked great for my liking. Not only that, the makeup was fabulous as well! Once again she took my wants and put them to work... my (now husband) was FLOORED when he looked at me, she did SO GOOD! Not only that, my 7 bridesmaids looked stunning. She brought in a couple assistants to help her out and they were just as fabulous - not one of my bridesmaids tried to tweak hair/makeup when they left because they were all so happy with their work! And lastly both the MOB/MOG looked just as stunning as ever - my mom has not worn makeup in YEARS and was very concerned to get her makeup done because she didn't want to look overdone. I was so thrilled to see how well they did with her - they highlighted her features but kept it so natural that SHE even liked it! There's not one bad thing I could say about Amy & her team!

Amy is amazing! She made me look perfect for my bridal portraits and my wedding day! She knew exactly what look I was going for after just showing her a couple of pictures from Pinterest. She was also highly recommended by my planner and my photographer.

Amy is a personal friend, but also came highly recommended from another friend who used her for a wedding. Amy was incredibly responsive by email and texting, from the initial inquiry through my wedding. She was also extremely flexible with timing and locations. I live out of town, so this was really helpful.

Amy was really great - she's very professional and she's great at taking girls' ideas and bringing them to life. She's also a lot of fun to chat with while she's working on making you pretty.

I brought in a picture of a few hairstyles and told her I wanted natural-ish smokey eyes. An hour later at my trial I looked amazing :) Also worth mentioning, she was able to work my trial into her schedule based on when I'd be in town which was great. I wasn't even considering a trial because I didn't think I'd have time but she made it happen.

For the day of, she was incredibly flexible as my mom, mother in law, sister in law and a few other family members got their makeup done. We changed our minds a few times and she just went with it and made sure we loved our look before moving on.

My hair and makeup stayed perfect throughout the night - even through a hurricane and running through the rain in a rain jacket to get to the reception.

Overall, I've never felt prettier and that is all due to Amy's great hair and makeup skills. She's simply the best and if I ever need professional hair and makeup again, she's who I will go to!

Amy is awesome! I did my bridal portraits at 9 am on a Monday morning and she was the only make up artist that would come to my house and do my make up. And the day of she and her assistant were great. All my bridesmaids loved their make up and everyone looked gorgeous. She is amazing at what she does and I received so many compliments! Her prices are very reasonable too!

Amy was absolutely wonderful to work with!! She makes you feel beautiful and comfortable. It kind of feels like a friend doing your hair/make-up. She was a great price, answers any questions you have and overall pleasant to work with. My cousin, one of my bridesmaids hired her on the spot on my wedding day. I am so glad I found Amy! She responded to my initial inquiry within just a few hours and her prices were so reasonable. She did my hair and makeup and my bridesmaid's hair and she did an amazing job! She was so sweet and we all felt like she truly listened to what we wanted.

Amy was great! She saved me for last so I could get the most time spent on me. When everything was done I felt like the prettiest girl in the room :) All my bridesmaids loved their hair and make up too! Amy is super sweet and accommodating. Definitely recommend her!

Amy was the absolute best for my Bridal portrait and wedding day hair and makeup. She was extremely fast and helpful in responding to any email/questions before the events when I had prep questions. She was great in helping me figure out exactly what kind of look I wanted and was patient and listened to exactly what I liked and didn't like. She was so fun to have around when all of my bridesmaids were getting ready and was extremely flexible when some girls decided they wanted to add makeup the day of the wedding(we were only paying for hair), not to mention her prices are SO reasonable! Amy was great with keeping us on track with the timing the day of the wedding in order to make sure everyone was finished by the time that my hair and makeup needed to start. I got SO many compliments on my hair and makeup on my wedding day and I still looked just as great 8 hours later when leaving the reception. Amy did such a great job and made me feel absolutely gorgeous for my special day!

Amy was amazing! She finished 4 of my bridesmaids, mother in law, and me in record time! My hair looked great all night. Lipstick didnt stay but the rest of my makeup looked fabulous for the pictures!

Amy was a delight to work with and did an amazing job making each and everyone member of my bridal party look wonderful. I was so pleased with how the makeup looked and how it lasted for the entire day and night. If I am in another wedding or have a reason for some special makeup I will call Amy for sure.

Amy was amazing! From the get-go, she immediately replied to all of my emails and questions. I set up a hair and makeup trial for myself with Amy. She was super friendly and polite and put me at ease. I brought in photos of what I wanted for my hair. She did exactly what I asked for, but after seeing the hairstyle on me, I realized that probably didn't work with my hair type. So I asked her to change some things & fix some areas differently and she responded super well. She didn't get frustrated or angry, but instead really tried to understand the look I wanted. And once she redid it, my hair looked amazing!

As far as makeup, I don't wear a lot of makeup normally so I really stressed to her that I didn't want to wear a ton of makeup for the wedding either. I wanted a natural, but more done-up look. And she immediately understood what I wanted and did an amazing job.

The day of the wedding, she and her assistant were on time (and even got there before I did). They made everyone look amazing in no time. They were super friendly and put everyone at ease. I wanted a few changes again to my hair and she really listened to me and did exactly what I wanted.

Amy is amazing and I would highly recommend her to anyone!

Amy Maxwell did such a great job doing my hair/makeup for all of my photography sessions and wedding! I had to reschedule one of my sessions last minute and she was able to get me in quickly and around my schedule.

I recommend her to anyone looking for a fun and up to date wedding stylist!

Amy did my hair/makeup for my bridal portraits and my hair/makeup for my wedding on October 4, 2014. She did a great job!! Amy is extremely talented with hair/makeup. She also did the hair/makeup for my mom and bridal party. They all looked great and were very happy with their results! Not only is Amy talented in what she does but she is very professional, flexible, and sweet. I was very impressed on how quickly she would respond to all my emails when communicating with her. I couldn't of asked for anyone better for this special day in my life and I highly recommend Amy to anyone. You will not regret your choice by choosing her to do hair/makeup for your event. Amy is amazing!!! First and foremost, she was very quick to respond to any of my calls or emails. She did both my makeup and hair for my wedding day and made me look so beautiful. I called on Amy for help with my wedding party's hair at the last minute and she was amazing! So professional and so fast at doing hair! I had scheduled an entire day for her and she finished in hours! My older sister has Down Syndrome and I was very worried about her getting her hair done by someone who was not familiar with her and Amy handled the situation so well and did her hair BEAUTIFULLY. My sister and all of my bridal party looked amazing and I could not have been more pleased with her work. Her makeup prices are not bad either, but I had another person to do it. I have no doubt she would have excelled at that too.

Amy was such a joy to work with! She is very professional, TALENTED, and just a wonderful person all in all. I came in having NO IDEA what to do with my make-up and hair for my wedding and she definitely took the time to work with me and made sure it was absolutely perfect for me on my wedding day. I received so many compliments on how beautiful my makeup and hair looked that day. She's able to do many different styles but for me, I wanted my makeup to look classic, beautiful, yet natural which she was able to do perfectly and quickly (it only took her an hour to do my hair and make-up). Not only that, the make-up/hair survived the hot Texas summer heat and a massive cryfest between me and my family (don't worry, happy tears!). She is THE BEST. Don't hesitate to go with her!

Amy did such a fabulous job! She was incredibly flexible when scheduling a trial and so amazing day of. I was so pleased with her price structure and she made everyone feel so special on my wedding day. All of my bridesmaids/moms had different hair styles and different makeup and she made all of them looked flawless. Amy provided such gorgeous hair and makeup for me and my bridal party of eight, and got everyone done with tons of time to relax before the wedding! She was so sweet and was able to give me the exact hair and makeup I pictured for the biggest day of my life. Would 100% recommend! Thank you Amy!

Everything was wonderful. From the trial, to bridals and then the wedding day...all the wedding party girls looked amazing and I was so happy with the entire experience. Amy is amazing! So thankful for her during my wedding.

Amy did my hair and makeup for my bridal session as well as my wedding. She also did my mom's hair and makeup for the wedding and we were both happy. She was very professional - showed up a little before scheduled and suggested the right amount of time for preparation. I went the traditional makeup route with no eyelash extensions because I normally don't wear any makeup and didn't want to try the airbrush makeup or eyelashes. The makeup she used was great. I didn't even really feel like it was on my face yet it stayed in place all through the wedding and even through a few tears! I had two different hairstyles for my bridal and wedding and both looked great. I am very thankful that Amy did such a great job with my hair and makeup every time I look at my bridal/wedding pics. She was also very affordable and responsive to emails.

Amy is great! I was able to do a trial run and hire her for my wedding hair and makeup since her prices are so reasonable. She was able to listen to what I wanted my hair and makeup to look like on my special day. Me, my bridesmaids, and mom looked beautiful! She is so sweet and cares about each of her clients. Amy made my bride party and I BEAUTIFUL on my wedding day! Not only is Amy very professional, she is the sweetest person and genuinely loves doing hair and makeup!! Amy also made my bridal party feel comfortable and had everyone's hair and makeup completed on schedule! Additionally, Amy made me feel at ease because I trusted her completely to make me look my best. Amy did my hair for my bridal shower, bridal portraits, and wedding, and I would hire her again in a heart beat! I could not have asked for a better makeup artist and I highly recommended her to all my friends that are getting married soon!

Amy was a dream wedding vendor! Responsive, lovely, dedicated, and a total pro at her job, she did my hair and makeup for a trial and the day-of. I was surprised at how quickly she worked -- only took her 1.5 hrs to do both. She listened to my feedback on the trial and made the perfect adjustments on the day-of. Loved the results and highly recommend her to everyone!

Amy knows hair and makeup and is a true professional. She made me feel at ease and asked me questions to tailor my look. She was very gentle when it came to doing my hair which I thought was really nice. She asked me about venue and what my preferences were. She was receptive to my mom and sister's suggestions who sat with me through the initial trial. On the day of my wedding, she also chatted with and was very professional with my photographer and family in my hotel room. I feel blessed that Amy was a part of my wedding day.

Amy made me and my wedding party look beautiful for our wedding! She is very personable and listens well to the style and preferences of everyone. I am a very punctual person that doesn't like to be rushed. Amy planned the timeline of the day so that we were able to relax the day of the wedding and she even finished everyone a few minutes early.

Amy is super responsive, which is much appreciated with coordinating schedules. I definitely recommend her for your big day!

Originally, I was going to have a friend do hair & makeup for myself & my 8 bridesmaids & I am so incredibly, unbelievably glad I hired Amy! Even though everything was last minute on my part, she was very flexible & professional! She always responded to my emails & texts immediately! The day of my wedding there was ice all on the roads so bad that my photographer didn't even show up but Amy was there & even arrived early!!! By herself, she was able to style all 8 of my bridesmaids' hair beautifully & apply their airbrush makeup as well as my hair & makeup with time to spare, which is truly impressive & seemed impossible!!! Everyone looked absolutely extravagant & I honestly cannot express how impressed I am with Amy!!!!! I strongly recommend hiring Amy for your big day because I truly believe absolutely no one else could have done what she did for me!! Thank you, thank you, thank you for magically making everything come together for my wedding Amy!!!

Amy is flexible, lovely and professional and knows how to treat a bride and her bridal party!
She and her assistant did an amazing job with all the ladies. I love the airbrush make up and Amy did a fantastic job applying. This was our second time having Amy and she is the best. Punctual, adorable, calm, and fabulous at make up.
I will miss seeing her!

I have to start off with saying that Amy is such a nice, caring, and sweet person. She makes you feel comfortable and she caters to what you need/want! My bridesmaids were so happy with her work. Make up was on point (my MOH is beyond picky, and she LOVED her makeup). My make up looked phenomenal and I have very bad skin/acne. After she was done with me, it looked like I had perfect skin!!! . Amy also did our hair and everyone looked absolutely beautiful! She can do whatever style you want!
Amy was VERY fast with responding to phone calls/emails. She worked around my schedule. She is beyond awesome and very professional. She will make you STUNNING on your big day or event!!!!

I give Amy a PERFECT score!!!! She was so great to work with and not only did an AMAZING job and had me looking gorgeous on my wedding day but also made me feel comfortable! I have been in a lot of weddings, and had my hair and makeup done a lot, but when it came time for my own wedding, I knew I would go with Amy. She really listens to want you want, and takes the time to do it right. I wanted to look very natural because I typically don't wear a lot of makeup. I've seen her make up people with heavier makeup and they always look beautiful, but she was also able to tone it down to something that was perfect for me. For my hair, she did a very natural curl that I wore for the ceremony. She also added some twists that looked like roses at the crown of my head where the veil rested. Of course, since she was attending the wedding, I was lucky enough to have a hair change. For the reception she whipped it up into a low up-do so I could keep the hair out of my face for dancing. It took her no time at all and it held up through all the dancing. I would definitely recommend Amy for your wedding, engagement photos, or showers. She will know exactly what to do to bring out your beauty.

Amy was very professional and fun to have as a stylist. It was affordable and she did a great job on my hair and makeup! My wedding day was a bit humid so the hair didn't stay totally curled but hey that's with anybody! Thanks Amy!!

Amy and her assistant were absolutely AMAZING on our wedding day!! We were done an hour early and the entire wedding party looked gorgeous. From my trial to the day of Amy was nothing but professional. Her hair styles were not only beautiful but they lasted throughout the night. I would highly recommend her for any event with hairstyling needs! She is not only good at what she does but she is so sweet and fun to work with!

I was absolutely happy with Amy's work!! She came to the hotel where we were staying at 7 am. and was on time. In 5 hours she had done 5 bridesmaids my mother and myself and had done a great job. Everyone was very pleased with her work and I would recommend her. The only little thing i was a little disappointed about is that our hair was a little bit undone during the reception. But that could be because we love to dance! The pricing was reasonable for the services and final results.

Amy was wonderful and my makeup lasted all day. I did have to have my bridesmaids help pin my hair right before the ceremony because it had started to fall. I was amazed that she was able to do 5 bridesmaids hair and make up, both mothers makeup and my hair and make up in the time frame. Her team was truly professional. I have been recommending her to all my friends getting married.

Amy did makeup for myself, my 3 bridesmaids, my mom, and grooms mom. We all looked fabulous! I don't know how many people told me I looked gorgeous! She did a great job. She came to the venue. She fun and really tried to get the look you wanted or offered insight if you didn't know, like me. Highly recommend.

Amy was awesome! She made me look my most beautiful on my wedding day and she was super nice and so much fun to work with. Plus she was extremely responsive and flexible to my wedding party's needs, which changed a couple time leading up to the wedding. I would highly recommend her!

Amy was wonderful to work with! She did my hair and my makeup for my wedding and everything turned out FLAWLESS! She really wants her brides to be happy and love the way they look on their wedding day. She also give great day of beauty advice in her trials with me.

I came to her with a million ideas, not knowing what I really wanted. She asked all of the right questions to really nail down what I was looking for on my wedding day. Even when I got last minute jitters (on more than a couple of occasions) she reassured me and worked with me on timeline as well as doing another trial!

On my wedding day, Amy also had an assistant that came to help do hair and make-up for my four bridesmaids. I could not have been more impressed on the way they looked that day too! I wish I could get married all over again so I could use Amy again! She was great!

Amy and her assistant were absolutely wonderful! She did a great job with my hair and makeup for my bridal portraits. There were a few things I did not like (minor hair and makeup changes), and she made sure to make them perfect for my wedding day! Amy listened to me, the bridesmaids, and the mothers, and she made them all feel comfortable with their hair and makeup. She is really good at reading people and knowing what would be best. On top of all that, she is incredibly sweet and flexible. You cannot go wrong with Amy for bridal hair and makeup!

Amy did my hair and make up perfect. It was exactly what I wanted for both my bridals and wedding, and I even changed them up a bit for the wedding versus the bridals. She is extremely personal and made me extremely comfortable to tell her what I did and didn't want. The only thing about this was I went to her house to get my hair and make up done for my bridals. It was unprofessional and there is no makeup room or anything like that. You are in a deserted living room. It worked out perfect and she was able to be extremely flexible, so if you don't care about that, she's perfect!
