Best Wedding photographer in Dallas

Where to begin... Amy is simply wonderful. She came highly recommended to me, and she did not disappoint. Amy gives direction, makes you feel extremely comfortable and is just the best. Amy’s work is absolutely beautiful, she pays attention to all the details and does not miss a beat. I also got to do my boudoir shoot with Amy, and highly recommend her for this as well. My husband and I look forward to working with her again for future family shoots.

A great wedding photographer!

Amy was recommended to me by a friend and was such a pleasure to work with. She was professional and paid attention to the little details that made the day! My husband and I are not huge photo-takers, but Amy made us feel comfortable, gave great direction and had good ideas on locations for photos. Not to mention she had a great personality and funny! She really captured the emotion and happy feelings of our wedding. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a great photographer.

Spectacular

Amy was absolutely amazing! Her photography is breathtaking but you get much more working with her. She made us feel so comfortable, she is incredibly flexible and adapted to all the craziness of our wedding. Our day of coordinated was not proactive ...Amy was able to sense that and helped us proceed and coordinated our party while taking pictures... wow!!! It immediately took stress of of us on our big day. We will definitely want Amy to be a part of all of our life celebrations from here on out. Thank you Amy!!!

Hire her! Best photographer I have ever worked with.

Amy is the best in the business, hands down. We hired her for our engagement photos and wedding photos, and they turned out beautiful. My husband and I are not easy to photograph, and somehow, she made us look so natural in the photos. She is kind, funny, and a joy to work with. You will not be disappointed! I am sure that we will hire her again in the future to take more photos of us as our family grows.

Amazing & Breathtaking

Looking for a photographer for our wedding, i knew what i was looking for,(artistic, picture quality, angles, color, etc. ). When I came across Amy Karp on google ( i just google Dallas photographers), i immediately knew she was the one! I loved her photo style and the picture quality of her work. Amy will give you photos to treasure for a lifetime, and you will just want to keep looking at them EVERY single day!! From day one, she was a trooper along with us, as we had to take our engagement pictures in 30 degree weather in Downtown Dallas. She kept our energy up with hers (in the cold), and made us feel like we knew her really quick in one day. After that it was a very comfortable experience dealing with her throughout the whole year leading up to the wedding. She also did my bridal portraits, which she was up to try at a spot she hadn't tried yet, The Statler. We got some amazing shots! (you have to have permission, as we kept getting asked if we did, which i had gotten the ok). All in all, just saying she was great the whole time! Wedding day couldn't have been better either! The only thing I would say for wedding, she gives a pre-made worksheet which asks if you would like any special poses, pictures or with anyone in particular. I wish we could've made sure she had all my picture shots i wanted, but she had assured me that a bunch of those were already her regular shots, and some were still missed. (like bride and all groomsmen, and more pictures of individual guests, and MY DJ). Otherwise, overall we had a great experience with her and her work, and her return time for edits and giving you photos is a pretty quick turnaround!She wont disappoint. Her husband, who shoots with her as the second shooter is also so nice to have around!

I would give Amy Karp Photography 100 stars if I could! Amy is without a doubt the best wedding photographer out there! From day 1 when I inquired about her services all the way to gallery delivery, Amy was organized, professional and great to work with. She is an absolute joy to be around. John, her husband and second shooter, is equally as amazing. He made my husband and friends feel extremely comfortable and at ease during their portraits. I fully trusted Amy and John to capture our wedding weekend perfectly, but they knocked it out of the park and exceeded my expectations. If Amy and John are available on your wedding date, put down your deposit as fast as you can. You won't regret it!

Amy was such a Blessing to have as our Photographer! She was very professional, showed care and concern from beginning to end, and even rescheduled my bridal shoot 2 different times when I got the flu. She was very accommodating. On top of that, she created such a beautiful story of our day to where I relive it every time I scroll through them. I highly recommend Amy to Anyone!! You will be so pleased. Be sure when you fill out her form to tell her exactly what you want shot and what is most important to you. She will accommodate!

Amy's work is stunning and her photos really do speak for themselves! We loved every session we had with Amy from engagements, to bridals, and the big day! She was so much fun to work with and always kept us laughing. I haven't even seen my wedding day photos yet but I already know they will be ridiculously awesome because that's just what Amy does! We hired Amy Karp for our engagement photos and our wedding. Her work is hands down flawless!! She was so much fun to work with and our photos truly turned out spectacular. It was cold, wet and rainy on my wedding day but you would never know that when looking at our wedding photos! For our engagement session, I had a general idea of what I wanted for our engagement photos prior to the session, but I didn't know every detail. When I told Amy that I had a red dress as one of my outfits, she gasped and said she knew exactly where to go! She took us to the colorful mural wall at the Dallas Museum of Art and the pictures turned out absolutely stunning. Amy is an extremely talented photographer and I am so thankful that she captured the happiest day of my life on film!

SO PROFESSIONAL! Talent and a creative eye great --and Amy totally has both -- but what really sets her apart is her impeccably professional approach to the job. This cannot be overvalued on your wedding day when the last thing you need to worry about is whether your photographer is on top of it. It gave me so much peace of mind to know that I could depend on Amy every step of the way. Amy is super organized. She does what she says she's going to do and consistently outperforms expectations. She had our photo gallery up and ready to go a couple weeks earlier than expected. We had such an incredible experience with her. Best photographer ever!!

Just received wedding photos back from late December wedding! Amy photographed bride and groom, wedding party and guests, both posed and candidly, beautifully! She worked well to keep to our budget and was willing to adapt to changes in our schedule. Amy and her accompanying photographer were there, but not seen.
Thank you so much for preserving this beautiful slice of our life so well!

Amy Karp is without a doubt the best in the business. She is appropriate for all personalities and is extremely flexible. She made my fiancé and I very comfortable during photo sessions and met with us EARLY (7am) on a Sunday morning for our engagement photos. We did not feel rushed and had plenty of time to get all the different settings we wanted.
She is also excellent at navigating time and places to do photo shoots to provide the best atmosphere for the best photos. When we were done, I received a notice stating the proofs from the session were up for review and ordering on her website TWO DAYS later!

Amy won't give you good wedding photos. She'll give you phenomenal, unbelievable, you'll-remember-this-day-forever TREASURES. She is worth every penny, but let me tell you why. She's cute as a button and a total goofball. You will have so much fun with her on one of your most stressful but most amazing days. Her images are classic and contemporary at the same time. She is a master with light and color. Her timing in capturing images is impeccable. She's great at communication and she gives you swag! Photography is one element of your wedding that you can not and should not risk. You pay for what you get, so make the investment in a great, world-class photographer like Amy. You will not regret it.

Amy is a rockstar with a camera. Seriously. Her technical skills are on point and she has an amazing talent to bring out personality and mood in her photos. I did all three sessions with her -- engagement, bridals, and wedding -- and she posed us and laughed with us all the way through. It was so fun working with her and we ended up with the most amazing photos that we will cherish forever. Photography was one of the most important things to me in planning our wedding and I can happily say I was not disappointed!

I highly recommend Amy for brides seeking unique images and excellent wedding day coverage. I had three shoots with Amy: An engagement session with my fiance and I, a beauty session, and day-of wedding coverage. Each of these sessions was amazing--Amy makes everyone feel so comfortable and confident, and at the end of the day, the photos are incredible. She has the unique gift of showcasing a bride and groom's true personalities in her work--a quality that is so important when documenting the most important day of your life. Hiring Amy Karp as our wedding photographer was one of the best decisions we made! From our first meeting, I knew that Amy loved working with her clients and loved telling their stories. I could tell that she was excited about helping to make that story into something that lasted a lifetime. I also knew that she took amazing pictures. I loved her attention to details and her ability to capture emotion in still pictures.
Throughout our interactions, Amy was professional, helpful, and lots of fun. Whether it was our engagement shoot, finalizing the wedding day timeline, or the wedding day itself, she took our ideas and helped shape our sessions into something that was very much “us.” Our pictures reflect us, our personalities, our love, and our day. I want to just sit and look through our album everyday and I know I will be able to look back at them in fifty years and still feel like I am in that very moment.
I could not be happier with my whole experience and would happily recommend Amy to anyone looking for a photographer. Not only are our pictures incredible, but we had fun working with Amy every step of the way.

Amy was FANTASTIC! She did such a great job on our engagement pictures and was great to work with on the wedding day. Unfortunately, it takes about 6 weeks to see the wedding day pictures..(it hasn't quite been 6 weeks yet for us) but I am certain it will be worth the wait.. :)

I did a family shot with her and loved it. Its my second time for her to shoot my family. She is super good with kids and had lots of ideas for all the different outfits we had. She worked at 7.30am on Labor Day Monday morning...talk about flexibility. She is awesome!

Amy did a fabulous job on our engagement photos. My fiance and I aren't great in front of a camera, but Amy made us feel relaxed and comfortable. She brings a lot of creativity to her shoots as well, and has a great eye for interesting light and unusual composition. I highly recommend her.

I am in awe of Amy and her skills. She is the best photographer for fun times shooting our engagement around town and the ultimate wedding day. She brought so much to my wedding experience and will forever be grateful for the amazingly beautiful lasting memories she has provided in her pictures.

Amy Karp is by far the most amazing photographer! Not only do I think she hung the photography moon :) I have gotten so many compliments on my photos. She is so much fun to work with and really has a fresh and fun style. She made our e-session and my bridal portraits experiences that I will never forget. I got married on May 09, 2009 and Amy was our photographer. She took all of our pictures for us- engagements, bridals, and wedding and she was phenomenal! Not only is she extremely talented and will capture your special moments in onlhy a way that she is able to, but she is so easy to work with- and not to mention SO MUCH FUN!!! I love Amy for everything she's done for us and for being there to perfectly capture my husband and I starting our lives together. Besides marrying the love of my life, she was the best thing about our wedding!!!

We LOVE Amy!!!!!! She was so sweet from the first contact, all the way through the wedding and then with getting all our photos ordered! She went WAY above and beyond what we expected of her!
There was an accident on the only highway into the town where our wedding was held. Half our wedding party and most of our guests were stuck behind it, putting the wedding an hour and a half behind schedule. Amy kept me very calm and then improvised on how to get all the pictures in that we wanted! It was a complete success!
We still use Amy for family photos and I recommend her to everyone!

Amy Karp is a talented photographer and we enjoyed working with her! She did my engagement shots, bridals, and the wedding itself. We really loved our photos and got so many compliments from our friends and family.

Amy is so creative and has an eye for capturing the perfect shot - formal and candid. She is very flexible and works hard to get the exact photos you want.

I had such a great experience working with Amy, and I would definitely recommend her to anyone!

Amy did an incredible job capturing my wedding!! I absolutely love the pics, and I'm so happy she took so many. I feel like on the day of I barely noticed her taking pictures, other than the formal ones, but when I looked at the pics - she had captured every important moment! She did an amazing job.

Amy was great to work with for my bridal portraits in June and wedding in July. Her personality and attitude were great. She was very flexible to work with. Her photos turned out really well, and she had a quick turn around on both the proof galleries and prints. I would definitely recommend her.

Great price. Wish had all rights to pics not just 4x6 size from cd. Pics not as creative as seenon sight. Helpful w/ organizing pictures and keeping flow at wedding.

Amy is REALLY talented. She was a blast to work with and even worked well with my somewhat demanding mother. I would recommend Amy to anyone that wants beautiful and artistic pictures. That only downfall is that she has gotten so busy that it took 8 weeks to get back my wedding photos.
