  We just had a wedding in Saratoga Springs, NY. We had contacted Amy Elizabeth and were put in touch with Andrea Wilcox in Troy NY.Andrea is AMAZING. She is so talented and fun. She came to our small cottage, set up by a window and proceeded to make up the 2 maids of honour, MOB and the bride. Each looked different but very complimentary. The pictures are amazing and 8 hours later everyone still looked incredible. (Andrea had even thought about the lip colour that would compliment the groom, when kissed by the bride!)
  This was such a wonderful investment for an amazing wedding day with spectacular results. Thank you Andrea so much and Amy for this great service.

  I've known Amy for a few years now and actually requested that she do my wedding make up before I was even engaged! Of course she and her assistant did an amazing job. My bridesmaid slipped in the shower the morning of the wedding and cut her face in several places. They were able to cover that up so well that you couldn't even see the damage. My photographers actually commented that Amy does such a great job that they are able to take awesome close ups of her brides. Lastly, the fire alarm went off at our hotel as Amy was working on my makeup and she quickly grabbed all of her materials and proceeded to work on my makeup in the lobby without a hitch, like a pro :)

  About a month before my wedding, I decided I should probably not be left alone to attempt my own makeup. Jenn of Timeless Updos recommended Andrea as a make-up artist she'd worked with before and got me an appointment for a trial with less than 30 days to go before my wedding. I had stalled on getting a make-up artist because I don't really "do" makeup...and my skin care routine could certainly be improved upon. To be frank-I was worried about the judgements and regiments that might be passed down if I sought out a professional of this sort. Andrea was none of what I expected and all of what I wanted. She was funny and human and easy to relate to. She also happens to do makeup professionally. We had a great time, even at the trial, addressing specific skin concerns and coverage and color options. She kindly and gently talked me down from a few of my more "artistic" ideas that no real life person should try for their wedding day...especially those of us who don't normally wear much, if any, makeup.
  
  She traveled to my venue to get me and my wedding party all done up in the morning before the wedding. She airbrushed away some blemishes and discolorations and unfortunate tan lines. She was a joy to work with and was a fantastic value.

  I hired Andrea Lyn from Amy Elizabeth Makeup Design to do the makeup for my wedding. Amy and Andrea were so great to work with. I have a super busy schedule and Andrea met with me a week before the wedding to do my makeup trial. She was so receptive to my likes and dislikes. She also offered realistic beauty advice for the week leading up to the wedding.
  
  The day of the wedding, Andrea was super prepared and got right to work. In addition to my makeup, Andrea was tasked with applying makeup to 5 bridesmaids (out of 7) and mother of the groom. As the morning went on, one of my bridesmaids (not originally in the count) loved Andrea's work and wanted her make up done. Andrea was so professional and agreed to it if she had time. She was ahead of schedule and was able to do everyone's make up.
  
  The morning of the wedding went so smoothly! I definitely contribute it to Andrea's calm and fun personality. The makeup was so lovely and natural! I am not a big makeup person. Andrea did a wonderful job using the makeup to accentuate my features while not "caking on" the makeup. I also decided to go with the airbrush option. I highly recommended this! This was an all day event! The makeup lasted all night. All I had to do was blot my face (blotting pads came in my makeup kit from Andrea).
  
  As I look through my photos, I just know that these photos will be timeless because the makeup was done so well.

  Andrea Wilcox's expertise was reflected in the beautiful job she did applying make-up to the wedding party and family members. The attendants looked beautiful and very natural. Andrea was available in the weeks prior to the wedding to promptly answer any questions or concerns. She is very reliable and a true professional. Most important,she made this a very enjoyable experience for all.

  Finding someone to do my makeup was probably the most difficult vendor for me. I had several different trials with others and since I normally wear little or no makeup, I'd feel absolutely absurd once everything was all piled on. I honestly was about skip hiring someone altogether when I went for a trial with Andrea of Amy Elizabeth. It was the ONLY time I loved my makeup (as opposed to racing to the nearest sink to scrub it all off). I hope I get this right, but I think her background was with Bobbi Brown, which I'd say is the "style" of makeup I enjoy most in ads - simple, pretty, natural - as compared to the boldness of Mac. Not only did I love my makeup, but my Mom was probably going to be the pickiest of all and she absolutely LOVED hers too. Andrea was all around an ideal professional to work with - she was on time, organzied, flexible, read the situation well, etc, etc. You can tell she does this all the time and thrives in this environment (whereas the woman doing my hair - someone totally separate who is not affiliated with Amy Elizabeth at all - seemed much less comfortable and less suited to doing weddings). With them working in the same space the professionalism of Andrea stood out to me. I HIGHLY recommend Andrea of Amy Elizabeth!

  Amy Elizabeth Designs is fresh and perfectly responsive to you as a customer. She scheduled easily and with two girls that were perfect for makeup and hair! Andrea and Krystal! I am so grateful for both of them!
  
  KRYSTAL~ I felt at ease with Krystal Rose through each of the three sessions I had with her. First, she came to my house for my engagement photos to do my hair and makeup. She listened to what I wanted and artistically created a beautiful face and hair:) She is sweet and honest. I felt and looked beautiful and glowing!
  Next, we had a bridal hair trial at her own salon. We did something slightly different with my hair. I LOVED IT! Then for the wedding she adjusted things creatively after accepting my honest thoughts and gave me a me a sexy, beautiful "Great Gatsby" soft curly style.......I am so in love with my wedding hair! I would wear it everyday:) Thank you Krystal Rose:) You are beautiful, talented and work VERY HARD!
  
  ANDREA~ Andrea is so much fun to work with! She listens to what you want and creatively gives you a beautiful presentation:) I LOVED my makeup for our wedding and my husband could not stop staring and complimenting! She works with your natural features and knows how to get you camera ready.
  
  Andrea worked hard ALL DAY long at our wedding site (all bridesmaids, flower girls and mothers/aunts!!!).
  
  My eye makeup was perfect! I highly recommend the airbrush makeup:) It held up late into the night.

  I met with Amy for a trial run and she gave me the look that I wanted for my wedding day. As it turns out Amy had an emergency situation come up on my wedding day, but she handled the situation professionally and sent her assistant in her place. Gina was amazing and did exactly what Amy had done during the trial! I didn't have to worry about someone not knowing what I wanted and I was impressed that Amy was able to keep me at ease and send a replacement of the same caliber as herself. I would highly recommend Amy for any type of event or her assistant Gina! Thank you!!

  I called Amy sort of last minute (a few weeks before the wedding) because my experience at the other make-up vendor was pretty terrible. Amy was extremely professional and extremely accomodating. She was willing to work with my tight schedule with no qualms. Andrea (an artist who works for the company) came ready to go. We didn't have a trial together; she listened and then showed me some pictures to ensure she knew what I was saying. Some of my family members and friends started getting their make-up done and by the end of the morning, a few more (who weren't planning on getting theirs done) were signed up to get made up. That's how good everyone was looking. The make-up the team uses is the best--they are not committed to just one company like other local salons, so they can use whatever is best for a natural and photogenic look. The images look beautiful. I am impressed.

  I feel so blessed that Amy Elizabeth was able to do the make-up for my wedding. I was so nervous when searching because I am a woman of color and applying make-up to varying shades of my skin tone is not a skill every artist possess. After applying my make-up, I was so beautiful I cried in the mirror. From that point on my bridal party banded me from looking at myself. hahaha. Amy did any outstanding job on me and every one of my four bridesmaids. She took her time and made sure we were satisfied as she progressed through our application. I chose to have my make-up air brushed and it was GREAT!!!! She did such an outstanding job that my friends and family who were helping me in my dress wanted theirs done, but due to the big moment approaching they didn't have much time.

  Amy Elizabeth is a true professional who not only made me look fabulous on my wedding day but also made 5 other women of different ages (age 6 - 72) look great too. We gave make-up as a thank you gift to our Mom's and other people in the wedding. This was a beautiful experience for our families and a lot of fun. Everyone was thrilled with their make-up. Amy Elizabeth is great at working with people of different personalities and ages. Her skill and dedication are also apparent. When some make-up did not work out for me on the trial run, she searched for make-up that would work. The result was me looking perfect and make-up that lasted all day (from morning wedding to late night after-party) and did not need a lot of touching up. I highly recommend Amy Elizabeth!

  There is a long story as to how I came to use Amy Elizabeth, but the story doesn't matter becuase the make-up on my wedding day spoke for itself. I can honestly say that I don't think I have ever had my make up look so good...it was really amazing! Myself, my mom, my grandma, and my matrons of honor all had our make up done by Amy Elizabeth. Not only is she professional and amazing at what she does, but she has all up to date make-up, can apply fake eyelashes, AND does air brushing. Coming from NYC, all of those things are a MUST and a lot of the other make up artists that I spoke with did not offer any of them. Also, on top of all of it, she was a pleasure to be around. With your wedding day full of excitement, stress, happiness, stress...it was a pleasure to be around someone so nice. I HIGHLY reccommend Amy Elizabeth for her amazing make up skills, but also her personality...it really made my day to have her there!

  Amy Elizabeth came on the recommendation of our wedding photographer, who advised us to book early because she is in high demand. So, 11 months before our big day, I booked Amy! The early bird gets the worm, and trust me, she is worth it!
  
  
  Also on the advice of our photographer, I did a trial run with Amy before our engagement photo shoot. This was a great opportunity to get to know one another and figure out the best colors and style for our big day. I was thrilled with the results of the trial, and equally as pleased with her work for our wedding.
  
  
  Because I had a large bridal party getting makeup done for the wedding, Amy brought along a second makeup artist, and her work was equal in quality. In addition to myself, 7 other women were glammed up on our big day, and unfortunately we did fall behind schedule due to the makeup process taking longer than expected. I've heard this is common so it's not a huge deal, although it did create some stress for me and I ended up rushing getting dressed. I appreciated that despite the time crunch, Amy didn't sacrifice the quality of her work (since I was the last to go, being the bride we wanted me to be as fresh as possible!) If you have a large bridal party like myself, I might suggest planning for an extra 30 minutes than expected for makeup, if you can.
  
  
  Regardless, I didn't mind falling behind on our timeline when I looked that fabulous! Everyone looked gorgeous and was thrilled with their results. Our makeup lasted the whole night through. Even with humid upstate NY weather in August. Amy is the best of the best, and her prices are extremely reasonable for the quality of service you receive. I would recommend her ten times over.

  Amy Elizabeth and her team were amazing!!! They came to my ceremony site to provide make-up applications to 10 of the women in my bridal party and everything went flawlessly. The make-up was phenomenal and lasted throughout the evening. I spent the entire night receiving compliments for my hair and make-up and had to give the credit to Amy and her team. I want to thank Amy for making us all look so gorgeous on such and unforgettable day. I would HIGHLY recommend Amy for any occasion where you want to look your absolute best!!! Thank you Amy.

  Amy and her assistant did makeup for about 13 people at my wedding, varying in ages from 8 to 86, and every single person was pleased. Not everyone wanted foundation, mascara, etc. and she was able to accommodate everyone's personal preferences. She was punctual and professional with a calming, upbeat attitude and reasonable prices. The wedding was outside in Congress Park on a sunny day and the reception was inside the Canfield Casino - two very different lighting scenarios, but we all looked great for both. Our makeup was applied early in the morning and the wedding was in the evening. Aside from a single lipstick application after dinner, I didn't have to touch up my makeup at all. I would most definitely recommend her services.

  Take advantage of a trial before the big day so you can discuss and try the look that you want. Amy is able to do whatever you like as long as you tell her.

  Amy was one of the first vendors I booked for my wedding and I couldn’t be more happy that she was available on my date. She came very highly recommended and now I know why. Amy’s work was absolutely outstanding! She did the makeup for myself, my mom, mother-in-law and 5 bridesmaids. Everyone looked so natural and pretty. All the girls couldn’t rave enough about how much they loved what she did. I know it’s hard to trust someone doing your makeup, especially for an event as big as your wedding. You’re worst fear is that people won’t be able to recognize you and the makeup will be caked on. Amy’s work couldn’t be farther from this notion. She has a great eye for bringing out everyone’s individual features. She listened to what each girl wanted….from glam to very understated, she gave everyone what they wanted. I could tell everyone felt their best, and that was very important to me.
  I had to reschedule my consolation a bunch of times and Amy was always so flexible and accommodating. Not only is she great at what she does, but she is truly a nice person and a lot of fun to be around. I know everyone enjoyed her, and her assistants company the day of the wedding. She showed up on time and even finished early which left us a few extra minutes to relax before we had to leave the hotel. Her pricing is very reasonable for the work that she does. You can really tell she loves what she does and that is reflected in her work. Trust me, you will not regret hiring Amy to do your wedding make up!

  I was married this month and chose Amy as the makeup artist for me, my four bridesmaids and the mothers. From the minute Amy arrived, she was upbeat, friendly and so excited to get started. I was thrilled that I chose her to do my makeup on this special day.
  
  Amy is a truly talented makeup artist, and in my opinion one of the best in the area. She took the time to listen to how each girl wanted to "look" on this day, and didn't push things that they said no to. She was super flexible and we all were just raving about how we looked when she was finished.
  
  One thing I really appreciated was the fact that she went the extra mile for me, the bride, because I told her my skin was super sensitive and she made sure to add a little airbrush makeup to set and hold my foundation so that no "red blotches" as I call them, would show through in pictures.
  
  Amy ultimately did a wonderful job, with her first priority being professional looking makeup application and making sure each client had the look they wanted before she finished. She also did small touch ups for the girls that got makeup done earlier in the day so they would still look freshly done by the time the limo came to pick us up!
  
  I can't say enough positive things about her, so I will just say: book her!! She's definitely the best. I highly recommend her for weddings and any other special occasions where you need to look your absolute best!

  I am from Buffalo, NY, and I had a small wedding at The Sagamore on October 6, 2011. I hired Amy Elizabeth to do makeup for myself, my mom, my sister and sister-in-law. We were a little nervous about how it was going to turn out because we lived too far away for a trial run, and none of us had ever had our makeup professionally done, except for one bad experience at a department store. Amy came to us at The Sagamore, and did our makeup in my hotel room. We got the airbrush foundation, and false lashes, and Amy made us all look beautiful! She listened to our concerns, and our normal makeup routines and gave us each individual looks that lasted all night. Aside from making us look beautiful, having our makeup done together was a fun experience that I am glad I had for my wedding. I would definitely recommend Amy for any brides in her area!

  Amy was professional, helpful, fun, and most importantly - she did a wonderful job with our makeup. It was natural looking, but still made my eyes 'pop' and my bridesmaids look beautiful. Our wedding was on a sweltering July day - over 90 degrees - in a non-airconditioned chapel to boot, but our airbrushed makeup stayed put ALL DAY and long after the sun went down.
  
  Amy was very quick to communicate via e-mail about everything, which was so helpful as a bit of an OCD bride. We had a ton of fun with Amy and her assistant on the morning of the wedding, and she made it easy to relax on a day that could have otherwise been very stressful. Overall, it was wonderful and I highly recommend her services to any bride who wants her makeup to be flawless, and have a fun time too.

  I had very bad acne growing up which left some redness and scarring on my face... I've always been very self conscious of this, and I was very worried about my wedding day... UNTIL my day of wedding planner Shannon told me about Amy Elizabeth. For the first time in my life I was not worried about how I was going to look in pictures! She used the airbrush foundation which was amazing. I got my makeup done at 2 p.m. (the ceremony was at 6 p.m.) and never had to touch it up once. I felt confident, and I didn't worry one bit about how I looked. It was even a hot and humid day! She also made my mom, sister, and bridesmaids look absolutely beautiful. My sister called me the morning of the wedding freaking out about a pimple, and I told her that Amy told me at my trial not to pick at it if I got one, and she could easily cover it up. My sister was amazed that Amy made it look like she never even had one! I highly recommend Amy!! :)

  The got married on Memorial Day Weekend 2011. It was extremely hot and humid! Amy Elizabeth and her assistant we unbelievable. The wedding was at 4:00pm and they arrived at my suite at 8:30am! Working with myself, a mother of the groom, aunt of the groom, and 8 bridesmaids they worked diligently and effectively (all while making sure each person was very pleased with their makeup). Everyone looked amazing. One of my concerns for the hot day (on top of crying, I am a huge crier), was sweating! Amy was with me up to when we left for Saratoga National around 3:00pm and she made sure my makeup stayed perfect! I wish I could Amy Elizabeth Makeup Designs to my house every weekend to do my makeup!

  Amy Elizabeth was wonderful to work with. On the day of my wedding she was on time, upbeat and prepared. When she finished with my makeup it was so nice to hop off the stool, look in the mirror and be totally impressed and comfortable with what I saw. She did an amazing job and everyone in my wedding party was extremely pleased. The look lasted and she even gave me a little glamour satchel to do touch ups throughout the night. I would recommend Amy to anyone on their special day!

  Amy did my makeup for my wedding in July 2010. She did amazing work! I'm someone who likes to be outside the box a little bit-not predictable-but still not overdone when it comes to makeup. She got exactly what I wanted and didn't even raise an eyebrow at my unique requests. The best part is that I looked fresh all day and night because she used airbrush foundation. I highly recommend this! I may have felt dewy on that July evening but I didn't look shiny at all!!! P.S. She even knew what to do for the pink (mild burn!) color from where my eyebrow wax went awry - no one even knew once she got done!Thanks Amy!

  Amy Elizabeth was the perfect choice for my wedding makeup. What a talented make-up artist! She made me, my bridesmaids and my mother look amazing! I live in the NYC area so all my communications were via email or phone, and she was always quick to respond to me. She arrived on time and prepared. She had everyone ready on time and looking beautiful! Everyone who sees my pictures always compliments on how amazing the makeup was. My makeup lasted throughout the evening- dancing and all (I did the airbrush application) Being someone who knows makeup well and who has worked with several different makeup artists, I can honestly say her prices are more than reasonable. She's worth every penny and then some.

  Amy's service was one of the best experiences of my wedding day. She is excellent at what she does and only knows how to give it her all. She takes pride in providing excellent service and is always respectful and professional. I loved my makeup at my wedding and so did all of my bridesmaids. My makeup looked great form the moment I walked down the aisle and looked just as great as I walked out of the ballroom at the end of the night!

  Of all the vendors I worked with throughout our wedding planning process and on our wedding day, Amy Elizabeth was easily one of the best. Her upbeat personality made her wonderful to work with and a comfort to have present on such an important morning. Her skill as a make-up artist created beauty and confidence for everyone from the bride to mother of the bride to flower girls (ages 8 and 11).   Amy was great. On my wedding day I was stressing out about timing with getting myself, the moms, and the bridesmaids all 'done up' in time. In fact, the scheduling plan was awful and we were running very far behind (due to hair, not Amy). Amy was wonderful and understanding (and quick!). All of my friends and family kept telling me how beautiful I looked (I don't usually wear a lot of makeup) and I felt great in front of the camera because I FELT beautiful (I usually hate cameras).
  
  I would recommend Amy for any makeup services for any occasion. I was a little hesitant about the cost, but I would say she is one of the most reasonably priced artists in the area and more importantly, she is professional and she knows what she is doing.

  I am so glad I chose Amy Elizabeth and her team to do my makeup and the makeup for our wedding party! Our makeup artist Jessica arrived right on time and ready to go, making sure my bridesmaid, mom and MOH had their makeup done in a way they made them feel beautiful and comfortable. Before booking with them, I had shopped around in the area at local "top" salons to find one that would do our makeup. All of them made me feel like they weren't listening to what I wanted when I said I just wanted a natural but glamourous look. They felt I needed tons of bright makeup to be a "bride." Jessica made me feel so comfortable and gave me exactly what I wanted! I would recommend them to anyone in the Albany/Saratoga area.

  Amy Elizabeth was one of my top 2 vendors, she was awesome. Most importantly, my make up was stunning, and stayed on all day/night!! Amy Elizabeth knows her products and what she's doing. I have a medium skin tone and a lot of people do not know how to put make up on me. She did wonderfully. I did not end up looking like a different skin tone....I looked like me...only enhanced. Just the way I wanted to feel on my day! My bridal party was very diverse (Italian, Puerto Rican and Trinidadian) and all skin tones and make up were matched perfectly for them! My girls loved their make up!

  Amy Elizabeth is amazing! Very fast with her responses & very professional! Amy and my hair stylists were cool enough to come to my lodge in Lake George to complete the make-up applications. It was crazy to see the before and after pictures! We were all pale faced with small eyes and colorless lips & Amy just transformed everyone into "Cinderellas'. Not too much where our men were shocked, but just the right amount to accent the great features & to hide the others!   Amy has stunning talent that cannot be topped! For such a small price, she transformed me into the prettiest bride. I am a girl who does not wear makeup.....for the first time in my life, Amy helped me feel fabulous, like a bride should on her wedding day. I was amazed at how she took me and just made "me" look the best that I could! I corresponded with her from Ohio and she was very accomodating....we took care of everything through email and phone.   Amy was AWESOME! She did such a fabulous job on my make-up for both my engagement pictures and my wedding day.   Amy Elizabeth was incredible! During the time leading up to the big day, she was quick to respond to all my questions and concerns and reminded me to start thinking about what look I wanted for the wedding. I loved my trial day and felt like we hit it off immediately. An added bonus was that she was sure to give lots of tips to prepare for looking your best on the wedding day. On my wedding day, she made me look absolutely radiant but still myself. My father was very nervous about my mother and me having our makeup done because he didn't want us too look too made up, but he was delighted. He commented on how wonderful yet natural we both looked. All the girls looked amazing. She was worth every penny! I highly recommend Amy Elizabeth for your wedding day!

  Amy Elizabeth was fantastic! I had to chose a makeup artist and do not live locally which made me very nervous to say the least. I had my trial only 2 days before our wedding and immediately felt great with her. She really listens to what you want. Not only is her makeup beautiful but she is tons of fun. She is very busy though and was a bit tough to get a hold of in the beginning of the process. Hiring Amy Elizabeth was absolutely one of the best vendor choices I made!!

  Amy Elizabeth is the best make up artist in the area for brides!! She bring a sophisticated approach to wedding makeup that it is in line with current trends - unlike some of the other local professionals. She was lovely to deal with and very friendly, always available via e-mail and willing to roll with any changes that come along. Day of, she and her assistant were bending over backwards to fix tiny touchups and answer questions for my bridesmaids. I would recommend her to anyone and everyone!!

  Amy did an amazing job on my bridesmaids, my mother, and me for my wedding last month!
  
  I was having some, I'm sure, typical bride-esque issues the day of my wedding and Amy was able to work around my bridezilla drama :) like a true professional and still make me and my wedding party look fabulous!
  
  I paid for all of our makeup as part of my maids' gifts and I felt that the price was right - sort of expensive, but worth every penny. I mean what isn't expensive when you're trying to put together a quality wedding and you want to hire the best vendors out there?!
  
  If Amy is still available for your wedding date - snatch her up while you can! In my case, she was actually doing another wedding the same day in the am up in Saratoga, but since I didn't need her until after 1 for my 6pm wedding in Albany, she was able to do both. She is very flexible and will work around your schedule if possible.
  
  Overall, I was very lucky to have hired a team of vendors that were, apart from a few exceptions, spectacular, and Amy was without a doubt one of the best of the bunch! Book her now!!

  Jessica Sheridan did my make-up and I absolutely loved how it came out - natural but elegant/glamourous - exactly what I wanted. I got airbrush done and the make up lasted all day (got it done around 10:00AM and my party didn't end til 11PM). Jessica and her assistant worked on my bridesmaids and everyone looked beautiful. They both also worked pretty fast (9 girls were done). I love seeing pictures of how my make-up turned out on the wedding day. They are kind of pricy but end product is amazing!

  Amy Elizabeth was great! She was really easy to work with. Also, she was really flexible-I did a trial with her a few months before the wedding but the day of I changed my mind about a few things (had to go for the fake lashes) and she adjusted without any problems. She did mine and my bridesmaids' makeup and everyone looked great all night!
