Joe was awesome and really listened to what we wanted. He made sure everything was perfect from the ceremony to cocktail hour to the reception. He played all of our top 10 must-plays, took our inspiration list into account, and added incredible tracks that kept the dance floor full all night. The party was definitely vibing and everyone loved the music.

We also used their photo booth service, which was such a hit. They brought fun props, asked our preferences for the template design ahead of time, and made sure every photo that included the bride and groom was saved separately for us, which was such a thoughtful touch. A few days later, we received a link to all of the photos from the night, which was amazing. Our guests absolutely loved it.
Their services were also very reasonably priced and absolutely worth it. I highly recommend Joe and his team. They were professional, fun, and such a big part of what made our day unforgettable! -

Our dance floor was packed the entire time! Everyone had a blast and the DJ/team was super easy to communicate with all the way through. We felt heard and like our vision was going to be complimented by the perfect audio backdrop all the way through. Our DJ went above and beyond when there was tons of wind, micing us up with a subtle mic with no cord or stand and ensuring we could all hear the ceremony and music/speeches.
If they allowed me to upload videos you would see us having soo much fun and going hard - everyone had a blast thank you!!! -

I could not recommend AMS Entertainment more. Joe was the most wonderful DJ who took the time to listen to me, hear me out and create the most amazing wedding playlist of all time. I was over the moon thrilled with the professionalism Joe showed the day of my wedding. From the ceremony, to the cocktail hour, assisting with speeches, and being the star of the show DJing the reception I felt very lucky that I was able to have Joe at my wedding. The dance floor was packed the entire night, with guests of all ages dancing the entire time. Thank you Joe and the entire AMS Entertainment team - you were a major part of my wedding and you absolutely killed it. I love to dance and knowing that I was taken care of on my wedding day and knowing that my guests were having the time of their lives is all I could have asked for! 110% would recommend picking AMS Entertainment for your wedding - and ask for Joe! AMS was so great to work with. They were extremely organized and helpful throughout the entire planning process.

We loved working with AMS for our wedding. Their process was super simple, their costs were clear, and there were no hidden or surprise fees. We were super impressed with our DJ Alex, and my husband and I both agreed that Alex was our "sleeper hit" of the night. He was calm, genuine, discreet, and professional. I think my husband especially formed a bond with him when Alex provided some quick tips as he was mic-ing him up for the ceremony. We kept getting compliments on the music all night, and the dance floor was never empty. I loved that during our private last dance Alex was by the doors, making sure no one was trying to come back in, and it gave us an added sense of privacy. Our wedding was amazing and Alex was a big part of that. -

DJ Alex was absolutely the best! He took my vibe playlist and made great choices, everyone was dancing until the last moment! I also appreciate that he took requests, but only those that fit with the overall vibe. All the planning tools they provide were so great at really honing in on what the night should be, I appreciate that from a planning POV. We were so happy overall with AMS and DJ Alex.

We hired AMS entertainment as DJ for our wedding in St.Helena this spring. Joe helped us coordinate beforehand and Alex served as our DJ on site. Joe is very responsive and easy to communicate. Alex was awesome too. Really exceeded our expectation for DJs. We really appreciated his professionalism and choice of music. Alex ensured that he put our requests and feelings first. We didn't specified a lot of songs except for the ceremony enter, exit, etc. Several guests mentioned to me afterwards that the music choice before ceremony really fit the vibe. Also since we named a couple uncommon foreign music choices, with artists name in mandarin characters, adding some challenges to the job. But Alex nailed it. Everything is perfect! Would highly recommend their service. -

We recently had the pleasure of working with AMS Entertainment, managed by Joe, for our wedding day. From the initial consultation to the last dance, they exceeded our expectations in every way. We specifically want to highlight Andy, our host of the evening and lead DJ, for his outstanding performance and professionalism.
Leading up to the big day, AMS did an exceptional job in preparing us for the event. Joe and his team were incredibly flexible and accommodating, taking the time to understand our vision and incorporate special arrangements and activities into our wedding timeline. They were attentive to our preferences and ensured that every detail was perfect.
On the wedding day, Andy's friendly and encouraging demeanor instantly put us at ease. He made us feel calm and comfortable, which was incredibly important during such a momentous occasion. His ability to read the crowd and create a fantastic atmosphere was unparalleled.

AMS is SO great to work with, and our DJ Alex was nothing short of amazing. AMS is super communicative and fast to answer any questions you might have. They have a great questionnaire that is easy to fill out and your assigned DJ really takes the time to get to know the music and the couple. Literally every song Alex played at our wedding was one of our favorites and he played them in an order that kept everyone dancing the whole time. Alex was really kind and professional - we would hire him and AMS again for future events in a heartbeat. Thank you, Joe and Alex!!! -

Awesome Wedding DJ!
Highly highly recommend! My wife and I were married in June 2023 and we went with AMS, after going to a friend’s wedding where they also went with AMS. It turned out that we ended up getting the same DJ as our friends (Rod) and he was fantastic! Rod provided a lot of good feedback for us during the planning portion but always let us ultimately make the final calls on how the music would be on our day. He ran the music for our ceremony perfectly and nailed all the first dances and dinner announcements. The dancing portion was so awesome - he had everyone going right up until the end of the wedding. I can’t recommend Rod and the entire AMS team strongly enough! Some of the best money we spent. Thanks again Rod for an unforgettable day! -

Amazing DJ!
Alex did a fantastic job DJing and keeping everyone on the dance floor. We were excited about the music and dancing leading up to the wedding but did not expect to be on the dance floor the whole time! Seeing everyone dancing and enjoying themselves made our night even more special. He did an excellent job leading us through the different events of the night. It felt seamless and easy; we didn't have to worry about anything and could just enjoy ourselves. We really enjoyed working with him! -

Working with AMS was extremely easy from start to finish. Their co-owner Joe was in constant contact with us whenever we needed or had any questions. Upon signing up, they sent us a really convenient online planning sheet and playlist builder which was extremely helpful for ensuring we had all our special songs picked out in addition to helping us embody the vibe we were looking for overall throughout the evening.
Alex was the DJ for our event and he was SO kind and friendly. We spoke a few times before and went over song choices and ideas; he instilled great confidence that the night would be just what we were looking for and he absolutely hit the nail on the head! All throughout the wedding Alex was a fun presence who helped our guests get in the groove and also was a fabulous MC for the events throughout the reception. From ceremony to the very last dance of the night, Alex executed our vision flawlessly and was an absolute pleasure to work with. -

Everyone had a blast dancing at my wedding! For me, it was a very long day! I took a moment by myself to have a seat and breather and our DJ came to check on me to make sure I was alright! We worked with DJ Rod- he was extremely attentive to our music and artist preferences in all of our meetings and on the day of event. He was personable with guests, including the bride and groom, and really showed that he was excited to be there. There were so many guests on the dance floor and everyone asked the host and DJ for the playlist. I highly recommend AMS Entertainment. -

During our planning process, we knew the music for our day was one of the essential parts. We live aboard so we were really a bit worried we wouldn't make a connection with the vendor. Our first meeting on zoom was easy and fun so our worries vanished immediately. We also were given access to a website that helped plan our event and really let us see how the night would go. Then we made a connection with our DJ, Andy. We were beyond words so happy! Andy was incredible with the music, directing the crowd, and encouraging the fun. He is a true professional and you can tell he really knows what he's doing. We still get comments from our friends and family about how amazing the music was and how everything fit nicely. Yes, we made a list of music for Andy to review but we also let him access the crowd to see what kind of music would be best. We were in good hands and I HIGHLY recommend AMS Entertainment. Our experience with AMS Entertainment was fantastic. Our DJ, DJ Alex, was awesome! Prior to our big day, Alex reached out and we walked through all the logistics of the day as well as confirmed our song selections. AMS Entertainment also has a fantastic song selection tool and form to select all the songs for key moments (processional, recessional, cake cutting, first dance, father/daughter dance, mother/son dance, etc). DJ Alex was incredibly easy to work with and adapted to the situation (our flower girls took a lot longer than expected to walk down the aisle, and he looped our processional song seamlessly for them). Our guests had such a great time, and he could not have been lovelier. We can't thank AMS Entertainment enough for the perfect wedding day!

Joe Hernandez and DJ Andy were great during the whole process of choosing songs and on the day of our wedding. They have a wonderful client portal which organizes all your wedding music information. Communicating with DJ Andy was so smooth and easy. On the day of he made sure to check in with both of us and read the crowd for song choices. We would highly recommend AMS for future events. -

Joe and his team are amazing to work with. AMS was highly recommended by our wedding planner - Lauren Miller - and our venue - Cornerstone - and we're so happy we booked them as our wedding DJ. We were paired with DJ Alex and he was awesome. So professional, took time to get to know us and our style before the event, and facilitated an AMAZING dance party. We also had someone sing during our ceremony and Alex was great with figuring out the stand mic and background music even though he was not doing the other ceremony music (used a quartet). It all went so smoothly! A team of really great people. -

My husband and I worked with Joe (owner) and Alex (wedding DJ) for our wedding at Ru's Farm in Healdsburg. We booked with Joe over 2 years ago and had to reschedule our wedding due to COVID. Throughout the last 2 years, I had a ton of questions for Joe and he was always extremely responsive, kind, and easy to work with! The team was very flexible when we had to change plans due to the pandemic and worked with us to make sure our event went off without a hitch! Everyone of our vendors told us that AMS is the best of the best!
Alex reached out to introduce himself prior to our wedding and we jumped on a call. The team has a great online planner tool to help with notes around "must played" songs and/or any other special requests. We immediately trusted Alex, based on his event knowledge and experience in the industry! He provided great advice, and wanted to ensure our event was everything unique to us and more!
On our wedding day, Alex did an amazing job! The music, the set up, the vibe, all was exactly what we hoped for! The music was perfect and Alex was a pleasure to work with!
I highly recommend AMS Entertainment and would love to hire them again for another event!! Thank you Joe & Alex! -

In our initial contact with Joe, he explained how AMS works and the various options available, and after talking with him we decided to book AMS! In the final days before the wedding, we had to change a few things last-minute due to COVID, but AMS was super accommodating and met all of our needs.
On the day-of, everything went perfectly and DJ Skip was awesome! It all went so smoothly that we never even thought of the audio setup. He nailed the ceremony music, the announcements, the toasts, and especially the dancing. All of our guests had a great time on the dance floor and he kept it super high energy... people were chanting "one more song!" at the end of the night! -

First, the music at our wedding was incredible. It was exactly what we wanted and the dance floor was packed the entire night. Alex did an incredible job suiting our tastes as well as responding to our guests. Second, we feel SO LUCKY to have been working with AMS. Our wedding venue changed three days prior due to the Kincade Fire, which they happily accommodated and then, when our original DJ was evacuated from him own home and couldn't access his gear, found us another DJ (who had DJ'd his own wedding), briefed him and ensured that we got what we wanted. We are so happy to have worked with AMS and Joe and Alex and would recommend them to anyone getting married in Northern California! -

I was blown away how organized and professional working with AMS was. From our very first inquiry the level of technology and organization with AMS was impressive.
We had the pleasure to work with Emil on our wedding at Viansa, and he was a fantastic wedding DJ! Prior to our wedding day, we had a couple of detailed calls where we went over all the details for our wedding and felt out the vibe that we wanted to set the mood for the evening. He was fun to work with but also ever the professional. He offered valuable insight as a wedding expert that we really appreciated too. We are so grateful we got to work with Emil!

AMS is a must! We chose them because they were highly recommended by our wedding planner, and my parents had gone to a wedding that they DJ'd and said the dance floor was packed. AMS (and our particular DJ, Joe, who I think is the owner), absolutely did not disappoint. They played a great mix of songs that appealed to all different types of guests, and were very accommodating of my specific instructions for mixing two songs for a fun father/daughter dance. They are very easy going and made the process simple on my end. Can't recommend enough! -

From making people could hear the vows during the ceremony and the speeches in a difficult setting (long king tables under grape vines), to making sure the party was constantly going. This company was amazing from the first day we reached out. Joe is incredibly responsive, and both our ceremony musician and DJ were fantastic. We got so many compliments on the music and our dance floor!
Also, DJ Emil recorded our entire ceremony, and he sent us the full recording and a beautiful version of our vows while we were on our honeymoon. We didn’t hire a videographer, so to have these moments recorded is priceless.
We highly recommend you hire AMS for your wine country wedding / event! -

Wow, Skip did an awesome job. He kept the dance floor hopping. There wasn’t a song that he played that we didn’t like. We had an amazing end to our evening and are so appreciative of Skip and the AMS team for making our reception extra special.
