Best Wedding Decorator Ever!
Pooja and the Amoda Decor team are absolutely talented and wonderful to work with. She was so easy to communicate with and we couldn't have been more thrilled with the decor at our wedding. From the mandap, to the centerpieces and sweetheart table, all the decor was stunning.
Pooja's attention to detail and combination of creativity alongside our "we like the color blue" vision were evident in every aspect of her work. Everything was so beautiful and we could not be more thankful. My new husband and I highly recommend Amoda Decor to any couple seeking a wedding decorator. Pooja's expertise and dedication made our dream wedding come true. Thank you so much for being a big part of our perfect wedding! -

Incredible talent...above and beyond our expections
Pooja and her team were excellent--working with them couldn't have been better. Not only is Pooja professional, creative, and flexible-she is a joy to work with. She walked us through figuring out our design with patience, creativity, and a fantastic sense of humor! To be honest, I had trouble expressing my vision, and Pooja was expertly able to help bring it to life--and improving with her intuitive artistry making it better than we could have imagined. The result of her work was elegant, clean, and simply everything we wanted. From bouquets to the sweetheart table, Amoda Decor's work is exceptional. We cannot thank Pooja and her team enough for making our day special! -

Absolutely blew us away with their work!
Pooja absolutely blew us away with our wedding decor! We gave her such a tall order with our giant multicultural wedding full of multiple days. We had an American western ceremony, Sangeet, as well as an Indian ceremony and reception that ALL required her expertise! With our Covid wedding, we cultivated a two year long amazing relationship with Pooja. From the beginning, we knew we wanted to work with her because of her warm personality and openness! She was always so responsive and ready to talk over new ideas. She came to us with such a peaceful and calm demeanor and we knew that she understood all of our ideas from the beginning. She was not afraid to be honest with us and talk over any logistics. She expressed her gratitude and commitment several times throughout, which helped reassure us that she knew exactly what she was doing. She stayed plugged in with all of our vendors and coordinators to make sure that she had what she needed. When we got to our wedding day we were absolutely stunned by her decorations and eye for detail! There were so many times where I just told her to “run with whatever” ideas she had since I knew I could trust her, and she absolutely delivered! We loved the relationship we carried with Pooja during our engagement and plan to keep her as a lifelong friend. She is an absolute gem in the wedding decor business!Amoda Decor's reply:

Pooja and her Amoda team did a stellar job weaving our rustic western and Indian fusion wedding together with beautiful execution - we absolutely loved all their work. In addition to being very kind and detail-oriented, Amoda took our loose ideas and brought the details to life beautifully with execution even better than our original vision - she took the things that were personal and important and improved on them while being communicative throughout and working tirelessly to go above and beyond. Pooja is a total “yes, woman” – you dream it, and she delivers!! Amoda Décor did a fantastic job decorating Joe and my two-day fusion Indian American wedding this summer. She pulled off a vibrant, Punjabi-village sangeet full of colors and life on Friday, and the next day, executed a soft, muted pink and purple ceremony/reception that was classy and elevated! I am incredibly happy with how everything turned out and cannot recommend Pooja and team enough for their excellent customer service, attention to detail, and ability to understand a vision and execute to perfection! There were several times where Joe and I struggled to find images online that represented our vision, so we drew them out and watched Pooja bring them to life! Pooja handled last minute changes (to include a rain plan Sangeet!) exceptionally well – she knew what we wanted and was able to work her magic! It is so important to hire a designer who understands you as a couple, as well as your vision. Pooja takes the time to do exactly that which made the planning process both fun and enjoyable. My wedding date had been planned on a time when COVID-19 concerns canceled my original wedding venue in Washington DC. With the wedding I dreamed up changing to a private ceremony with our immediate family in Alexandria, I called Amoda Décor a week and a half before the scheduled date since I needed help. Though it was short notice, they were happy to help and calmed me down during our first phone conversation. We reviewed the new venue and the pictures I sent, and they were able to come up with a plan to turn the gazebo into a wedding destination.
However, the gazebo canceled 72 hrs. before the scheduled wedding dates so I decided to move the wedding ceremony to parents' backyard. Amoda Decor was patient, communicative, and understanding with everything that was happening. Most importantly, the team was transparent with options from the first day. The team reassured me that things would go well when I started doubting myself. The group shared their own experiences and ideas and helped me make decisions without being pushy or trying to break our budget.
On our wedding day, they did an incredible job (even coming up with a backup plan as storms were possibly headed our way!). The decor came out better than I envisioned. We received so many compliments about décor and florals from the immediate family that attended the wedding ceremony and those who saw our pictures. Moreover, the staff was on time, responsive, and supportive through all the unique challenges.
With their professionalism and talent, this group will turn your wedding dreams into reality. I highly recommend them! Thank you so much for everything! -

Pooja did an amazing job in decorating my booth for a wedding showcase.
I decided to hire her services last minute, three days before the event.
She replied me on the same day I contacted her and we agreed on something.
She was very accommodating and I value the fact that she was ok doing the deal via email.
She set up and broke down for me.
I am looking forward to another opportunity to hire her services again.

Pooja and her entire team at Amoda Décor created a thanksgiving wedding weekend for us 11/29-11/30, 2019. We hired Wedding Amoda Decor for our fusion wedding which included the Sangeet, ceremony and reception and we are so THANKFUL that we did!
Starting with the budget and logistics, Pooja was able to give us multiple options on décor while also giving us her opinion on what will work best with our budget and personal preferences. She took the time to meet with us several times as well as made herself available 24/7 via phone calls and messages throughout the planning process.
The final product for each event took our breath away and we are still in awe when we look at the pictures from the events. Pooja you are a CREATIVE GENIUS! If you especially are tired of seeing the simple cookie-cutter round mandaps and want a designer that pushes the envelope then look no further. We wanted each of our events to have a different theme and feel. Starting with the Sangeet, our Peacock theme was over the top AMAZING. You understood our vision and was able to bring it to life. Our wedding mandap and reception stage were absolutely stunning, incorporated our rustic, thanksgiving, fusion theme and played a huge role in making it a magical experience.
We could not be more satisfied with the level of service and professionalism that Amoda Décor provided us. We would highly recommend them to any couples looking for high quality work and some of the best work in the industry. THANK YOU, Pooja & the rest of the Amoda Décor team!! -

Amoda Decor exceeded all my expectations for my wedding decorations/centerpieces and bouquet. Pooja's vibrant personality is what drew me to ultimately choosing this vendor. From the very first moment I spoke with her on the phone, I already knew I will be in good hands. Pooja was responsive whether it be through call or text. Super Awesome
Pooja Mittra and team were amazing. I had full trust in her creative ability and it paid off. I literally just told her what colors I wanted for my wedding festivities and gave her full faith. She is a kind person who patiently worked with me and the vision. Loved how everything turned out for decor. My guests had nothing but compliments on how nice everything looked. I cannot emphasize more how amazing it was to work with Amoda! Pooja is really someone special. We used Amoda decor for two events. One was a pre-wedding "haldi" party, and one was our wedding. Pooja was phenomenal to work with. To be honest, we had communicated/worked with with two very well-known Indian wedding decorators before we found Pooja, and I am so grateful that things didn't work out with the other decorators because Pooja is amazing!! From the very first meeting, she was so kind and positive. She's really a woman of integrity and it was so clear that she was committed to bringing our vision to life as best she could. Throughout the process Pooja was extremely responsive (and patient with me when I wasn't), and she made this part of wedding-planning a breeze. We didn't really make it easy for her because we wanted a rustic, Indian wedding. Other vendors tried to tell me how those things are hard to mesh together and tried to shift my vision, but Pooja brought it to life without compromising any part of the vision.
In a nutshell, I could not recommend Amoda more. Pooja is kind, thoughtful, pays so much attention to details, a great listener, and now, a sweet friend!Amoda Decor's reply:
