Professional and beautiful rentals

Working with Amigo Party Rentals was easy and straightforward, and the venue came together so beautifully because of the rentals and lighting that they provided. They were accommodating to work with as we did a couple of rounds of iterations to get to the perfect item list to fit our needs. All of the staff that we worked with were helpful: at the showroom for color and glassware decisions, at site visits prior to the event to determine lighting needs, and during the impeccable delivery and setup. The rentals were high quality, clean, and organized, and the delivery staff were very skilled at professionally and efficiently setting up a complicated venue design.

I had met with a few other rental companies before chatting with Amigos for rentals for my wedding and once I met with them it was a no brainer they were who I was hiring. Their showroom is beautiful, their staff is so kind and excited for you and your event and they were so communicative. Thank you for making our wedding perfect!

A Disco Dream Come True!

Planning a wedding can be really stressful, and your plans can change a lot. I’m so happy I worked with Yadira at Amigo’s Rentals. She was incredibly helpful and patient with me as my wedding plans changed.

I dreamed of a Spring Disco vibe, and Amigo's had everything to make it a reality. Those whimsical wood chairs, the epic disco balls, cozy colorful velvet couches, and that killer half-moon bar? So incredible! It was like stepping into a magical, groovy wonderland.

Yadi, you're so wonderful to work with! Thank you and the entire Amigo's team for making our dream wedding come to life. From setup to breakdown, you guys were flawless (Okay, maybe not totally flawless - I'm still on the hunt for my missing extra large wood easel. If it magically turns up during your next inventory sweep, you know where to find me, haha!) . I can't recommend Amigo's Rentals enough!

Incredible!!!

Amigo Party Rentals are amazing! They were so professional and easy to work with. They answered all of our questions, and were so patient with our many requests and design changes as we planned our wedding during Covid. Delivery and pickup of the items was so easy! They were also incredibly helpful with figuring out the best arrangements and set up to accommodate for our wedding party. We would definitely recommend them and use them again for future parties!

We love Amigo Party Rentals

My husband and I highly recommend Amigo Party Rentals. Throughout our wedding planning, we had the privilege of working with Angie who was extremely flexible, helpful, accommodating and kind. She helped us pick rentals that reflected both our price and our style perfectly. When the chaos of Covid repeatedly affected our wedding plans, Angie and Amigo Party Rentals were extremely fair and gracious. The delivery and clean up team were excellent, and they were very respectful and fair about any minor damages after the party. Overall, we love Amigo Party Rentals and recommend them for their great services, team, and prices.

Best choice for chuppah!

Amigo Party Rentals provided our chuppah, chairs, tables, table cloths, and a large tub for cold drinks for our outdoor wedding in Santa Barbara on 10/20/19. We found them with a recommendation from our florist, Bouavon at Tangled Lotus, who had worked with Amigo at another wedding. We talked to many rentals companies in the Santa Barbara/Ventura area, but Amigo was the only one who had everything we needed (especially a chuppah). They were very easy to work with, even as we added a few rentals as the wedding day approached. On the day of the ceremony, they were on time and very professional. I definitely recommend Amigo Party Rentals!

High Quality and Easy to work with

Angie was always very responsive to my emails and had the best prices from the 7 or 8 companies I sought quotes from. They were on time on the day and set everything up as I wanted. Angie is really patient as I changed the order many times as our plans evolved and she was pleasant and helpful throughout the whole process.

Fantastic Team and Beautiful Furniture!

I can't speak highly enough of the fantastic job done by Amigo Party Rentals for our wedding day in Ojai. Our coordinator recommended Amigo and we were so glad she did! All of their furniture pieces and decor were great quality and they did setup and breakdown SO quickly. We were especially thrilled with the lighting setup (shoutout to Jesus & his team!) and the "outdoor living room" furniture we ordered for our welcome/lounge area. Our coordinator worked most directly with Amigo, but they were very flexible and accommodating to our requests, and helped us to create an incredibly special celebration for us and all our guests. Hire them immediately!

They literally turned my wedding from a disaster into a dream come true!

When I started planning my Southern California outdoor garden wedding from out of state - rain and cold weather never really crossed my mind. About two weeks before my wedding date, it was raining nonstop with dropping temperatures. Sure enough, the showers were projected to be during my entire wedding ceremony and reception. After panicking, I was recommended to Amigo Party Rentals for their heated tents. The thought of a tent wasn't exactly my dream come true - but let me tell you, Jesus and his coworkers turned my reception tent into something straight out of a dream! It was SO beautiful and it was so obvious that they took so much pride in their work and put everything into it. Communication, price, customer service - everything was top notch! I seriously could not have asked for anything more and I am forever grateful to Jesus and everyone at Amigo Party Rentals for letting me have my dream garden wedding - even with some showers. If you ever need any rentals for your wedding, I really can not recommend them enough! They truly do go above and beyond for their customers.

Outdoor Wedding Rentals

I really enjoyed working with Angie and would highly recommend Amigo Party Rentals. She was very communicative and so helpful in planning and providing the rentals for our outdoor wedding of about 200 people. For months, we had a lot of back of forth emails and calls as I tried to figure out what my needs were and she was so accommodating and professional.

We rented dancing floor, rustic bars and tables, chairs, chinaware, flatware, glassware, heaters, linens, wine barrels, cooking equipment, PA system and umbrellas. Literally anything you need, they have. The best part was probably the bistro lighting, it really made the space so warm and inviting. Highly recommended.

The rentals were delivered and set up with ease and picked up quickly. Thank you!

Great Customer Service & Product Variety

Amigo provided rentals for our August 2018 wedding in Santa Barbara. They were great at communicating with us throughout our planning process, helpful when we stopped by their showroom to make selections, and executed the setup/break down seamlessly on the day of the event. Amigo Party Rentals is the best rental company in Ventura County!! There prices are affordable and service is phenomenal. They supplied and set up rentals for our wedding at Hummingbird Nest Ranch about a month ago setting up for 285 people. Jesus met me in person for a vendor walk through months prior to my wedding day. He was friendly, professional and had suggestions and ideas as far as where things should go etc. This company had worked with my venue once or twice before. The Amigo Party Rentals team knows how to handle big events/weddings. I told them what our vision was and sent pictures via email as well as a hand drawn diagram. On the day of our wedding they arrived early to set up. Everyone did such a great job and our vision of what we had planned exceeded our expectations. If you are looking for a great company to work with, choose Amigo Party Rentals. I promise you will not regret it! I would recommend, brag about, and hire this company again that is for sure. Thanks to all of you for making our dream wedding come true!

Amigo did a fantastic job for my wedding. They were consummate professionals and exceeded our highest expectations for our backyard wedding. The biggest highlight was the lighting. We had considered trying to do it ourselves, but once we saw the amazing (not to mention strenuous) work that Amigo did, it became evident that our best decision was leaving that to the professionals.

Highly recommended.

Amigo Party Rentals is the BEST!!! I was the Catering Director at a local country club for almost 13 years and during that time we referred them to clients and used them for club events countless times. In all those years, I only had quick, great service, fair pricing and complete professionalism. All of our clients loved them -- I've never heard even one complaint. Amigo was an excellent company to work with. We had a complicated and large wedding and Amigo handled all of our requests with ease. Not only did they deliver the items early, but they also allowed us to have them picked up on Monday with no extra fee. The prices were the best in the County and the service outstanding.

I loved working with Amigo! They had the best value for my DIY backyard wedding (like waaaay better prices than any other Ventura County Rental Company - and the quality was great too!). I went into their office not knowing at all what I needed and the staff was super friendly and helpful, providing lots of ideas based on their supplies and services without trying to upsell me on things I didn't need. My calls and emails were always returned promptly; I added and subtracted from my contract numerous times and it was never a problem. I am very happy with my decision to use Amigo, highly recommend them!

I was referred to Amigo by our venue and found them to be a pleasure to deal with. Very responsive on email and patient too with multiple changes! Angelica was great! The quality of the rentals was also great too and I was very happy with everything. (we mainly ordered, linens, chairs, tables and glasses. Prices were pretty reasonable too. Would highly recommend.

We have used this company for our event in the past and have always found them to provide exactly what we ask for and what they promise. Their phone sales people are polite and courteous and very helpful when it comes to working out special requirements. Deliveries and pick ups are on time by polite well trained efficient crews. I had already put down a deposit on another local company (Santa Barbara) when I was referred to Amigos. For 1/3 less of the other rental price, I was able to add a dance floor and upgrade my tables to the beautiful wood type. They are friendly and reliable. I highly recommend!!!

We worked with a gal, Naomi, who was a class act. She was on top of everything to the details as if it were here own wedding. To say the least, they were extremely profession in all respects and I would recommend them to anyone in Ventura County.

Overall - Courteous, friendly, on-time service & pick-up, no additional charges added... and cheaper than Ventura Rental!

Jesus A. & Amigo provided outstanding service for our Santa Barbara wedding. Our planning period was rushed (the wedding came together in 6 weeks) and throughout Amigo was always available to talk, advise, and adjust our order up to the very last minute. Amigo Party Rental was amazing! Their rentals are high quality and their prices are reasonable - they were the best deal I found in the area for what I was looking for. Everyone I worked with was incredibly friendly and easy to work with. They have a showroom that is filled with various rental options for you to choose from with even more options available if you let them know what you are looking for. The wood tables I rented for my wedding were beautiful and just what I imagined. I highly recommend them and would rent from them again in a heartbeat!

I can't say enough great things about our experience working with Amigo Party Rentals for our 2013 wedding in Santa Barbara. We hosted our wedding for around 100 guests at a private estate in Hope Ranch, and our venue choice presented all sorts of challenges in terms of the amount of items we had to rent. Amigo had all of the items we wanted to rent (including the gorgeous, rustic Pueblo harvest tables!) at the lowest prices in the area, hands down. We visited their showroom to see their inventory in person, and the quality of their items is excellent. Angelica handled our order with ease and professionalism; she always responded promptly to my multiple changes to our order, whether I sent emails or called. She was very patient with me, repeatedly going over a sometimes confusing, continually revised list of our rental items line by line. I felt valued as a customer, and it was clear throughout the process that Angelica really cared how our wedding turned out.
A big concern for couples when choosing a rental company is whether or not they are going to charge you for a lot of broken or lost items after your event. It's easy to do, since it's not like brides and grooms or their families are doing their own inventory of every fork and glass the night of the wedding or the morning afterwards. Not at all an issue with Amigo. Amigo was totally reasonable and in our estimation they didn't overcharge us for broken or damaged rental items at all! In fact, at the end of the day, we had overpaid slightly (due to reductions in the last few weeks in our item list) and just a few days after our wedding they swiftly sent us a check for the amount we had overpaid. Just because you're having an event in Santa Barbara doesn't mean you have to pay Santa Barbara prices for rentals. The same items rented from SB rental companies cost less from Amigo. Amigo was a great value and it was an absolute pleasure to work with them. I recommend them without any hesitation!

There really would be absolutely no reason to give anything less than 5 stars in any of these categories. Jesus and all of his guys were ready and willing to help at all times. They responded quickly and made things so easy for us. With so much going on with wedding preparation it helped immensely to have a resource like Amigo when we needed it. Jesus came out to meet us at our location during the initial planning stages and was very accommodating. Amigo's prices are also very competitive and fair.

Professional and friendly service. The most notable items were the high quality linens. Because of the great quality linens set up was significantly quicker!

We dealt with many vendors during our wedding and Amigo Party Rental by far was the best! Our beach wedding was a quarter mile down the beach and we were worried this would pose a problem. Amigo Party Rental met us on site and assured us everything would be taken care of. Not only was it ok, they far exceeded our expectations. Jesus and the entire staff were great from day one. Do yourself a favor and hire Amigo Party Rental, you won't be disappointed!

Jesus, and the staff at Amigos Party Rental, was helpful and professional. They were very accommodating as we adjusted placement on tents. Amigo Party rental is by far, the best rental company in all of Ventura county. Their prices and their customer service can not be beat. The manager helped make our wedding picture perfect. We had a large wedding of 175+ guests, and needed a vendor who had everything from a tent, chairs, tables, ,linens, and a dance floor. We worked with the manager to plan the perfect layout for all of our needs. They were able to work with us to come the day before for setup, and the day after for clean up. The staff is professional, courtious, and very helpful. The tent was perfect, the table and chairs were exactly what we wanted, and I couldnt have been happier. They did an awesome job at making our wedding exactly as it should be. Perfect. I would recommend them over and over again as the key factor in making my wedding as awesome as it was. I will deffinetly use them again for any of my event needs.

We are an entertainment & event planning company and Amigo Party Rental was our rental company for a recent event. They were very easy to work with and very flexible. Best Value in the area. They were cheaper then Santa Barbara companies and have very nice items. They were flexible with adding on items last minute to my order even while they were dropping them off. I forgot to order another 20 napkins and they went back and brought them to me. I planned my wedding from out of state and worked with Jesus almost entirely by email. He was always so quick to respond and always answered all of my questions. I changed my order constantly and he was so flexible. He even sent me napkin swatches when I had questions about color. They were the best deal around. I had some weird and very specific drop-off, pick-up and set-up times for our rental items and they had no problem accommodating those times even though our venue location(s) was almost an hour away. I guess it's because our wedding was on a Sunday, but the delivery and set-up charges were astronomical...almost half of our total costs but it was like that with several of the rental companies I had called. Amigo was so easy to work with, we also used them for our rehearsal dinner

Amigo was great. By far the best value for rentals that I could find in Southern California. I changed my mind and altered my order at least 10 times and they were very accommodating. They arrived on time, were very professional, and the products were clean and in good condition. We went with the cheapest chairs for budget's sake and they still looked great! Definitely recommend! The only negative was the margarita machine, which works very slowly and wasn't able to accommodate the amount of margaritas that people wanted. Order 2 machines if you have more than 50 people!

We were overall impressed with Amigo Party Rentals, and especially happy with their customer service. We rented tables, chairs, linens, a tent, a dance floor, plates, glasses, and a few other things for our wedding this summer. Although we changed our minds a lot about what we wanted, and how many of each item we wanted, Jesus was patient with us. He responded quickly whenever we called or emailed. He offered advice when we asked but let us make our own decisions. I think the nicest thing that Jesus did was he honored the company’s prices from the time we first contacted him, even though prices were increased shortly after that. The crew arrived right on time and did a careful job setting up. We had only two small mix-ups. One was that we were short 6 chairs, but I called and Jesus himself came over almost immediately to deliver them. Another was that somehow with all our changes the forks got removed from our invoice. They didn’t notice the mistake, but neither did we until our caterers couldn’t find the forks. We were doing finger food, so it all worked out in the end, but I’m still not really sure how that happened. Other than these small issues, we were overall very pleased with Amigo Party Rentals and would recommend them. A local, family-owned business with great selection, reasonable prices, and wonderful customer service is hard to beat!

We used Amigo Party Rentals for our wedding after doing a lot of vendor research in the Ventura/ Santa Barbara area. They were the most cost effective by far, on their rental prices as well as delivery and set up fees. This is what initially made us choose them over the others.

What would make us continue choosing them, is that the service was absolutely wonderful. I planned my California wedding from Colorado, and would shoot off random e-mails with questions and they would always get back to me within 1 - 2 days with answers to all of my questions. I changed my order a few times up until the event date, and they were always very accommodating. When asked they would send pictures of things, however on their website they also have a very useful price list AND photos of all of their items - this was incredibly helpful in planning!! Honestly their website is amazing.

As far as the day of - the guys who came to deliver all of our items were SO friendly and helpful. They dropped off and confirmed quantities of every single thing, and placed them wherever was most convenient for us. We had quite a bit of stuff since we got all of our rentals from them for our wedding with 120 people; Chairs, all kinds of tables, linens, napkins, table runners, glasses, silverware, and then there were the lights... We had string lights set up over the entire grass area where we ate dinner. The guys that came - I believe there were 4 men setting up - worked so hard. They worked quickly, but had a lot to do, and were working very hard, and sweating like crazy! We gave them water, but looking back I feel like we should have given them lunch too. They were amazing, and just so friendly, it was definitely a wonderful experience all around. I would certainly recommend Amigo Party Rentals for all of your event rental needs!

Jesus was very communicative. He and his crew handled our beach wedding needs beautifully. We used an arbor, a staging tent and 70 chairs that were delivered, set up on the beach and then torn down and taken away. Experience and timing was flawless. The prices were a bit higher than other places we checked, but the service, professionalism, and worry free set up and tear down was well worth it. I highly recommend Amigos Party Rental.

Amigo was easy to work with and had great prices! My only complaint is their agreement is written horribly and not clear that after you place your initial order (which was months before my event) you cannot cancel items, only add. Jesus was extremely helpful and responsive by email leading up the the event. I particularly appreciated that they offer lighting equipment and setup, which other rental companies we contacted did not. Delivery and pickup were smooth and professional, and the team showed me that everything was in working order and answered questions before leaving. Santa Barbara is expensive, so I think they were the best value-for-money option in the area, but still expensive more broadly speaking. The only thing that could have been better is that they were not able to provide a sound system that allowed us to position speakers more than 10 feet apart.

Rental Company that Knows the Venue

We were recommended Amigo by our wedding venue, Chumash Museum. They were very knowledgeable about the site and incredibly helpful getting everything set up (and torn down) on time and exactly where I wanted them. The items we rented were very nice, clean, and of a good quality. Highly recommend choosing a rental company that is familiar with your wedding venue, and for us at the Chumash Museum, Amigo made that difference!

Overall, Amigo Party Rentals did a great job and they provided everything that was requested. Jesus was specifically very helpful. However, one of our heating lamps was not able to work during the event so I suggest testing them out before the deliverers leave.

I chose Amigo on a referral, they were always responsive in planning, however it was execution day that went wrong. Not all was bad but to me the most important part of my wedding was to have a curtained wall along one side of my outdoor venue. Amigo said they had done it before and showed me photos but on that day it was horrible. It literally looked like a clothesline with 3 panels across it. I paid for 80ft and it was just horrible. When I called to complain they said th ground was uneven. I never hid that or any other fact. Amigo told me they had done it before and the picture is up on their website (Casa de la Guerra) and they made me feel confident they were the experts. Everything was great but my image of my venue was nothing short of disappointment.

Lack of customer service

We had a wedding that was sole sourced to Amigos. While they delivered the service according to the letter of contract, they claimed we lost a few items (spoons, a dish etc), for which we were overcharged for those missing items. They did not present any paperwork or speak to me about the charge until I saw it on the credit card bill. When I called them, they pushed back and cited the letter of the contract and their policy, and really didn’t seem to care that we spent thousands with them on one event and the loss of a few items represented 1% of the total charge. They didn’t even attempt to reconcile in the name of customer service and didn’t seem to care about a pending negative review. They ruined what otherwise would have been a great experience with one incident. If you’re going to contract the services of Amigos, be careful.
