Lots of great options and helpful team!
The decor we rented from American Party Rentals made our wedding day extra special! It was fun to go to the showroom to pick out linens, plates, glassware, etc., and to see it all come together on the wedding day was incredible. Gabriela was incredibly helpful with our selections and with making adjustments up until a few weeks out from the day. -

Great Rentals!
American Party Rentals is a great option for your wedding rentals! I rented my linens, high chairs, glassware, and easels from them. They were so beautiful! They have a showroom where you can set up an appointment and look in person at all of the rental options they have. We changed our minds a couple times about linens and they were so understanding and worked with us to change anything we needed! They delivered everything the day before the wedding and were very professional and timely. I definitely recommend this company!! -

Great team!!
American Party rentals are fantastic! Their team is extremely responsive and helpful! After meeting with them in the showroom I made a couple of changes and additions via email. This was a super easy process and Natalie Bell was so helpful! The team is very knowledgeable! We rented tables, dishware, and linens from them! We highly recommend them! Also, we found almost all our vendors from the American Pary Rentals website as they list the vendors used at weddings they showcase on their website.-

Wonderful Experience
I had a wonderful experience working with Sarah and the others at American Party Rentals for my daughter's wedding rentals. I rented chairs, napkins, and Pipe & Drape and all of the items were as expected and of good quality. -

Beautiful tableclothes
American party rentals provided beautiful tablecloths for our wedding! We had burgundy and green velvet tablecloths which were absolutely gorgeous and tied the room together. Highly recommend using them for your next event! -

Wonderful selection and service!
APR was excellent to work with. I met with my coordinator for an appointment to select various rentals for our wedding. Natalie was awesome! Easy, stress-free, tons of options!
American Party Rentals, especially our rep Natalie Bell, were amazing from beginning to end. We used them for both the rehearsal dinner and reception, and they were super accommodating with delivery and pickup despite it coinciding with a holiday! They had tons of options when we toured their show room and Natalie had everything we had considered set up so we could see what it would all look like together. Communication was quick, easy, and thorough even with last minute questions, and we were able to make modifications right up until the end which was wonderful because things kept popping up that we hadn't thought of! Natalie was super helpful with answering questions from her experience doing many weddings, and we were able to get exactly what we wanted because they had so many choices, colors, and endless combinations of tablecloths, plates, glasses, etc. I would highly recommend American Party Rentals and Natalie! -

Great customer service!
Cedrika from APR stuck with us through many months of initial planning meetings, date changes, venue changes, guest count changes, and much more. Their website made it easy to view their catalogue and pricing, while Cedrika provided excellent customer service. When we encountered an issue with some of the seat cushions, the owner personally delivered replacements and helped correct some issues with the tent which was rented from a different company. The day turned out beautifully! -

Stylish Rentals, Great Customer Service!
We had a great experience working with American Party Rentals. We rented dishes, flatware, glassware, coolers, and a dancefloor. Picking out our items online was really easy, and I was quickly connected with Cedrika, who was really friendly and easy to work with. She helped me think through quantities, and was great at finding a substitute when one of the plates we wanted was out of stock. It was easy to update our order closer to the wedding date when we had our final numbers. Pick up and drop off went really smoothly, and all of the items were exactly as pictured online. I would happily work with them again on any future events! -

Excellent & Amazing
There are no other vendors we would have worked with for our reception to decorate it as beautifully and elegantly as American Party Rentals did. We met Cedrika at the Museum of Life & Science's Love + Science event, and hit it off from the start. She had me in the showroom within a few weeks, and I loved all the color and fabric options for the table linens. We quickly found the combination we wanted- and there were so many fantastic options! This place has an eye for style, and reasonable prices. We'd work with them again! -

APR made rentals easy for us!
Cedrika could not have been more lovely when we visited American Party Rentals--she is so personable and easy to work with. In fact, we had another appointment scheduled at a different rental provider, and after spending the morning at APR, we cancelled the other appointment. At no point did Cedrika upsell us. Rather, she figured out what we needed and the look we were after and spent a lot of time going over different ways we could get that look affordably. APR has a good variety of options for you to play with. And it did feel like playing! It was a lot of fun to mix and match tableware and linens to see how the different combinations looked.
Our wedding was at the Museum of Life and Science in Durham, and I was thrilled with how seamlessly APR worked with the museum. After we chose our rentals, we had to do very little--the rest went through the venue, even when we had to make some last minute changes to accommodate changed table sizes. The rentals were delivered on time, they looked great, they were reasonably priced, and it was an easy process. I highly recommend this company! -

Professional, excellent quality
Having worked with American Party Rentals through my job, I knew they were who I would use for my wedding. They provided linens, table settings, tables, and chairs for my at-home wedding. They worked with me as I went back-and-forth about linen colors and hosted me in their warehouse office so I could make sure everything coordinated. Come the wedding, everything arrived as ordered, on time, and in excellent condition. I couldn't recommend more highly! -

Great Selection of Rentals!
We wanted a very distinct look for our wedding, and American Party Rentals had a large array of linens and dishes for us to customize our event. Visiting their showroom and planning out the look of our tables was a really smooth process, and they were all very helpful as we worked with our planner and debated over napkin colors. Overall I think they did a great job of helping us create our look, and we were so pleased with how everything came together on the wedding day! -

The perfect touch!
All of those little items that you don't think about needing until...well you need them...was catered to perfectly by APR. A recommended vendor by our venue, after looking at their website, it was no contest that they had an amazing variety of rentals while still being insanely cost effective. We focused mainly on rentals needed for the dinner portion of our reception: linens, glassware, flatware, china, etc. and when we went in for a visit to their warehouse, we were actually able to pull some of our favorite pieces and set a table so we could see what it would all look like together. Even their basic pieces were gorgeous (because I could've cared less about having intricate designs on our forks and knives...but if you're into that kind of thing, you better believe they have it!). We chose two items to draw our focus on: a TO DIE FOR blue velvet table linen for the head and cake tables and a peacock patterned salad/dinner plate that brought just enough subtle uniqueness to set the tone for the whole evening. I also loved that Natalie gave me samples of all of the linens that we picked out so I had them to reference when making other color and design choices!! They also supplied our dance floor, which was the perfect touch. -

Great Service!
We thoroughly enjoyed working with Natalie to plan our big day. She walked us through everything and helped us to think through lots of little details that we would otherwise have forgotten about! We used American Party Rentals because they have a strong relationship with our venue, and it was the easiest part of the process. Their prices are reasonable, they have great selection, and they were very flexible through multiple updates to the order. They set everything up before our rehearsal and overall they were a zero stress vendor to work with. -

Chad with APR was great to work with. He was really professional and down to earth, and took the time to answer all of my questions. There was another rental company we consulted with that was less expensive, but we ended up going with APR because of the quality of their products and the fact that we never felt like we were being "sold" anything. Chad would make suggestions based on how couples typically rent, and would always suggest a few options with different price points.
Our final headcount ended up being WAY lower than we anticipated (everyone had to travel for the wedding) and we had to cancel a lot of stuff we reserved, cutting our invoice total in half. Chad was cool about adjusting everything and was really accommodating. Our rentals were delivered on time the day before the wedding and packaged in a way that made it easy to find and set up everything.
We would definitely use them again! Go with APR! -

We were lucky to have a close friend whose husband works with American Party Rentals. Still, while he was able to walk us through the process, I think the service would have been just as good without an inside contact. APR has a helpful checklist to remind of of all the small details you might have forgotten (creamers to hold milk for the coffee service; trash cans for clean-up, etc.) which was incredibly useful to us, as we were already a little overwhelmed with other details. It felt great to know nothing was being left out. At the same time, though, we never felt pushed to rent more than what we really eneded, or to upgrade to a higher-priced rental.
The color selection for linens is GREAT and they gave us honest advice about which chairs were comfortable, which were worth the money, etc. They also had many, many options for delivery and set-up, so we were able to save ourselves the hassle of "unbagging" each chair by paying them to do that, but were also able to save ourselves some money since we were willing to arrange the chairs in rows ourselves.
Basically, the selection is good, the options and many and flexible, and delivery and pick-up happened right on schedule. Easy, simple, and efective - exactly what you want in a rental company! Also, I should mention - all of the items we rented were in perfect condition - not a stain or crack to be seen. -

We worked with APR for our September 2012 wedding reception at the Duke Gardens. APR has a wide enough selection of dishes, linens, chairs, etc. that you feel like you can customize the feel of your wedding but not so large that it is an overwhelming process. If you like, they will even help you develop a vision for your event and then help you choose your rentals to actualize that vision. You can also schedule a consultation on the weekends, which was very convenient for my spouse and I due to our work schedules. I highly recommend working with American Party Rentals for your next event. -

I particularly was impressed with the friendliness, flexibility, and professionalism of the staff. Because the order, delivery, and pick up were flawless, I could relax and enjoy myself.
I will add that Durham Catering Company placed our order. These two companies worked beautifully together so there were absolutely no glitches.

American Party rentals was great to work with! They helped us through the overwhelming task of planning out all the little details of what we needed for our outdoor venue. Jason was great in helping with our tent, which required lots of last minute changes due to the weather forecast. We used lanterns for the lighting in our tent and it was so beautiful! They created a really nice atmosphere during the wedding and look great in photos and our video! American Party has a nice selection and were very easy to work with. I would definitely recommend them! -

If you're looking for great, timely service in the Triangle for your wedding, I'd highly recommend APR. Judy and her crew were flexible in scheduling a show-room tour, indulging my mom's excitement with the planning, and honoring my budget. They worked seamlessly with our caterer (Durham Catering Company, also awesome). APR was flexible with rental changes during the planning process, and the delivery staff showed up on time on the Friday before the wedding. Their willingness to get the rentals to us early allowed the bridal party and family to set everything up the day before the wedding, thus saving us a ton of money on not having to hire additional staff. Overall, I'd work with them again in a heart-beat! -

Quick and Easy Rentals
I rented glasses, linens, and drink dispensers from American Party Rental Company. Their online ordering system was easy and understandable. They answered all my questions about linen sizes etc and helped me make the right decisions for how many to get of what size. The order could be modified until very close to the wedding, so I was able to make changes easily as my final headcount came in. Deliver and pick up of the items was also painless and professional. -

Made the rentals process easy
We chose APR because they work closely with our venue (the Cookery), and were very pleased with the experience. They have a wide range of items that you can see in the showroom or peruse online. Natalie was very helpful when we met in the showroom to make sure I had all the rentals we needed, and was easily accessible through email when we made some changes later. I appreciated that she was upfront with the cost of different rentals and made suggestions to help me stick to my budget. They even coordinated with a wedding the following day for us to use the same dance floor so we each only paid for half the rental! I was overwhelmed with where to even start for selecting rentals so I really appreciated their friendly and helpful service. -

APR handled our wedding rentals, from tent to catering tools. Our wedding was the weekend of hurricane Matthew, and Todd came by in the pouring rain the night before to double check on everything and make sure it was all ready to go. They have a great selection and the delivery and pickup were smooth. -

The folks at American Party Rentals were so easy to work with. They were super responsive, even though we made many changes to our rental inventory and were planning from far away. They had provided rentals at our venue before, so they were able to suggest layouts for our tables and tents and gave us different options to choose from. Their expertise and responsiveness made the wedding planning process much smoother for us. The weather was unseasonably cold on the day of our wedding and they even came in at the last minute to provide additional tent walls and a heater. We would have been miserable without them! -

Great experience!
American Party Rentals had the largest selection of rental items we could find in the area, they really are a one stop shop for all of your wedding needs. They were also fairly reasonably priced and very responsive, we never had an issue changing items on our list or getting a hold of them. The first woman I worked with ended up leaving half way through our planning process, and we did have some trouble with attention to detail with her. She kept leaving items out of our contract and I was constantly finding her mistakes. The new girl was AMAZING though and VERY thorough. She gave great recommendations for sizes and how much drinks each tub and cooler could fit and made it very easy for us to plan our DIY wedding. The delivery process was very smooth and there was only one thing missing, which they delivered promptly a few hours later. Since we got married over a holiday weekend and had to leave the area before the items could get picked up, they were very flexible and just let us leave the rentals in a covered location for them to pick up later. Highly recommend! -

APR was professional and good to work with. We weren't initially impressed, especially considering they told us they'd see why they didn't have enough stock of specific charger plates, then never heard back on that. Other than that they were fine. Had plenty of color and fabric choices. -

The rentals were expensive, we saved a lot of money by purchasing our linens and only renting our plates, glasses and silverware. They were very helpful and responsive. They delivered and picked up everything on time. Once I picked my items, signed the contract, and paid them they did what they were supposed to do and I was able to relax knowing I could truly check that off my list. -

I think they lost my initial inquiry, so I didn't hear back for a few days. But once I got in touch with them, they were very helpful and professional. The reservation and payment process was quick and easy. -

Working with American Party Rentals was very easy. They always responded promptly to requests and were very helpful by always updating the invoice as soon as reservations were changed. -

They will take your money over dumb reasons
They deleted my message on Google but I won't stop posting wherever I can.
The biggest regret was trusting this business to take care of my wedding reception. I should have went with another rental business instead, but can only blame myself ugh.
The person who deals with sales (Natalie) is friendly and helped me throughout the whole process before this situation, which is why I'm even giving this business a one star at all.
My event was on a Friday and a person (Chad) from there told me not to worry about a thing and that they would contact my venue regarding delivery. Well, they never contacted my venue and just showed up the day before my event and dropped off all the rental items. This threw my venue off because they already had another event going on. My venue called me confused wondering why American party rentals dropped stuff off early and I had no idea because they did not contact me or my venue regarding the matter. This caused confusion and led to things being put in random spots of the venue causing some of my items to not be anywhere near my site on the day of the wedding reception. They delivered their dinnerware and flatware, but I couldn't find my table linens and sweetheart table chairs :( I mentioned the situation to them immediately after my reception the next day because obviously I'm busy on my own wedding day. Instead of understanding the situation and seeing where I'm coming from, they refuse to take any responsibility for the confusion and are blaming me, my family, the venue and my planner for the misplaced items. I understand I signed a contract and on there it states that you guys are not responsible for refunding any unused items that are delivered, and I would have one hundred percent abided by that BUT where's the sense in that when I couldnt even find some of the items?!?!? That's what's so frustrating to me.
I simply asked for a refund on the unused/misplaced items. Everything else was delivered and easy to locate, so thankfully we were able to use those items for the event and I was happy to pay for the used items. But to tell me that you would take care of it all and then have delivery mess things up, not tell anyone of your delivery arrival and blame me/everyone else for the missing items. That does NOT sit well with me and my family.
Why would I make something up about some items being missing on my wedding day? That's what I don't seem to understand. It didn't have to be this big issue but American Party Rentals (Brent Evans-random sales guy and Chad- now finding out one of the owners) obviously doesn't care about their customers or maybe even customers of color in this particular case. They just wanted my money and they got it. I asked kindly all week, but then they got all defensive and accusatory with me. I am super disappointed and upset with they way they handled this. They stressed me out with the whole thing, instead of making one of the most important days of my life special. So thank you for ruining that. I never complain about anything and am always appreciative of all the hard work and effort businesses put into things. But when I'm treated unfairly and spending my hard earned money on something I'm not getting serviced for, I need to express my opinion.
I'm just wanted to warn anyone who even considers this business for events. Unfortunately I didn't get the same treatment and pleasant experience like everyone else who has worked with them. Please go look elsewhere or they will try to blame something on you and take your money too. -

Worst party rental company, promised to be at our house in the morning and could not figure out how to get our party rental tables to us on time. We waited hours and then called to have the staff give excuses "Its the law of physics I cannot turn back time" with no substantial plan as to how to get us our rentals as soon as possible. Watch out for what you ask for as far as timing! -
