I cannot recommend Ambiance Events by April enough! From our very first meeting, they made me feel so at ease and confident that our wedding was in the best hands. April and Gabi took the time to listen to all our ideas and brought everything to life even better than I could have imagined. They are so creative and thought hp beautiful details that I would not have thought of.
Every detail was planned and executed flawlessly. We were able to enjoy the planning and weekend without stress. The whole weekend flowed so smoothly. It was a dream to work with Ambiance and I will never be able to express my gratitude and appreciation in words. Need to have another event so I can work with them again… the best!!!! -

April and Gabi were exactly who and what we needed to take the bride and grooms ideas and make them happen. As the Mother of the Bride, my job was to put all the plans in place. Then I got to step back and enjoy while April and Gabi made it all happen. And that is why I call Ambiance "The gift I give myself" Without them, I would have been attending to details - instead I got to attend to my daughter! Thank you Ambiance! -

I cannot recommend April and Gabi enough. Our experience was amazing . We had a few ideas and they turned them into an absolute dream. All of the vendors they recommended were impeccable. We met a wedding planner and her daughter and they became friends who we trusted completely. Lovely, professional, creative, fun, thorough…all the adjectives! -

April is so amazing to work with. She is so kind and so good at executing visions. I told her exactly what I was looking for and she made it happen, and then some. She means business, but in the best way possible. My husband and I's wedding day was the best day of our lives and it was solely because of April. If you live in the Wichita/Kansas City area - you should without a doubt hire her for any party planning/wedding planning needs that you have. She blew us away and hiring her was the best wedding decision that we made. WE LOVE YOU, APRIL!!!! -

Ambiance Events is top notch! When we called to begin the wedding process April listened to what our ideas and wants were from the ceremony to the reception. Through her experience and knowledge many of her ideas were implemented and that made the day exceptional! Her ideas were the icing on the cake, the WOW these are amazing ideas! Her team members were there from start to finish to keep the event running smoothly. Each detail was delivered beyond our expectation! The entire experience was beautiful, seamless and wonderful memories were made! April kept me calm when everything was possibly going to go haywire because of COVID. She is everything you need out of a wedding planner- detail oriented, creative, and most importantly, she makes the day special for YOU. She asked me what I wanted out of my wedding day and I said to actually ENJOY my husband- with that in mind, she set up a private dinner between the two of us after the ceremony during cocktail hour. It was genuinely my favorite part of the wedding. -

The best planner ever
There really aren’t adequate words to describe how thankful I am for April. There is nothing this lady can’t do. It’s stressful enough planning a wedding, but planning during a pandemic was something I certainly wasn’t prepared for. April was ALWAYS a simple phone call, text, email, or FaceTime away. She answers any and all questions promptly, because she knows the importance of putting her brides at the top of her priority list. She was my mine and my mom’s saving grace as we navigated re-scheduling my wedding as a team. Our wedding looked different than we had initially expected it to, but it was more than we could’ve ever dreamed of. It was perfect & April made sure of it. We owe so much of our special day to her & her team ❤️. If you’re on the fence about hiring a planner, take my advice AND DO IT! April will forever hold a special place in our lives. -

Dream wedding!
April did the most amazing job of planning and designing my wedding. She took my ideas and ran with them! Her attention to detail was impeccable as well as making sure I got all the things that I wanted. It was also such a relief to have her get in touch with vendors and make sure everything was scheduled and set up as needed for our big day. I can’t thank April enough for helping me get my dream wedding ❤️ -

April was such an amazing person to coordinate my wedding for the day of! We met a couple times before the wedding and she covered all the bases🙌🏼 She came to the rehearsal dinner and rounded up all of the troops & made sure we knew what we were doing. On the day of she set my whole entire wedding venue up and it had me speechless. It was everything I could have imagined that it would be and more. April checked up on me throughout the day and got me whatever I needed. She made sure we stayed on schedule and more importantly that the bride & groom were happy!! Without her, the wedding would have been a mess and I honestly had no idea what I was doing. -

April was a day of coordinator for our wedding at the Barn at Grace Hill in September. I cannot say enough wonderful things about her. She truly handled the day seamlessly. I didn't have to worry about a single thing other than enjoying my wedding day. Even when the linens showed up 2 and a half hours late, she made sure the tables were set and ready for guests with time to spare even. I'm sure there are things I'm not even aware of that happened and she handled perfectly, and I don't know about them because she is that good at what she does. Even my parents said, April was the best decision we made. Highly recommend! -

April makes the whole planning process so easy for you and works very hard to put together the things you like to make your wedding just how you want it. Exactly what we needed to help plan our special day
April is excellent at bringing a vision to reality. She worked with us as both a wedding planner and day-of coordinator and was great at both roles. Communicating with her was easy and she was great at listening to and incorporating our feedback. We relied heavily on her vendor recommendations and all of them provided us great value and service. We would highly recommend April’s services to any couple looking to transform ideas into a design and executed plan. -

Absolutely Stunning
Words cannot describe how amazing April was at planning our special day. She was with us from the very beginning of our planning process and made the entire year of planning seamless. April was always available when I had questions and took care of every little detail.
When the big day came, April and her team were so organized and made the day flow without incident. She turned an indoor tennis court into the most beautiful reception venue that Wichita has to offer. It was simply Stunning. We plan to use Ambiance Events by April for any future events! -

April met with me, communicated with me, and was there to answer any question over call or text anytime I needed. She was my go-to person when I needed an opinion on a vendor or just a simple timeline arrangement. I wanted to be very involved with planning our wedding, and April made this happen- she was hands on anytime I needed her, but also gave me the ability to feel like planning was in my hands as well. She stepped in when I needed more help and she always had our best interest in mind. She was able to view our vision of how we wanted or special day, and created the PERFECT real life event. April has a very fun and bubbly personality and is very easy to work with! She has much knowledge in event/wedding planning and has many connections with amazing vendors. She is also very open to working with vendors she has not in the past, and open to any ideas you bring to the table. She also is very honest when honesty is needed, whether its difficult budget details or a simple arrangement in the timeline of your day. April made our day FLAWLESS. Our wedding was everything we could have ever hoped and dreamed of. We are so thankful we chose to work with sweet April! THANK YOU!!!

Amy Sent on 11/22/2017From the moment I met April, I knew I could count on her to make my wedding run smoothly. She was confident, quiet and steady. This is what I needed as a frazzled bride! We met twice before my wedding and in both cases she made me feel very comfortable and offered great suggestions for me to use when planning. April ran my wedding ceremony rehearsal and made the entire wedding party feel good about their roles and what they should be doing. On the wedding day she took care of setting up all the decor, gave direction to vendors, and answered all questions that came up! During the wedding, she was in control the entire time and handled all the tiny details as they arose. I'm so glad that I worked with April! She made my wedding day perfect and took care of so many things so my family and friends didn't have to worry - like clean up and tear down! What a blessing April was for my wedding!!

Lindsey Sent on 10/13/2017April is absolutely amazing! Her creativity goes beyond words and she created an absolute fairytale wedding for our wedding day. People have not stopped talking about how amazing the venue looked. I was busy with school before my wedding and she was as hands on/ off as I needed while I was either busy or not. She is very reasonable and was the only part of the wedding I knew I couldn't do without once I had her. She was always available and always on top of everything. At first I tried to handle a lot of things on my own and then realized that she was so much better at having everyone on the same page than I could ever be. I didn't have to worry about a thing and it was amazing! Now I'm just trying to get her to be my life planner! She is amazing!!!

Ambiance, llc - april johnson highly recommend
My daughter's wedding was during the pandemic; and, as you can imagine the stress level was elevated as a result of all the rescheduling. We hired April early on to support us with a two day package plus a few consulting appts. She did a fantastic job. Early on she guided us at a high level and was very professional and organized. Then, a week or so before the wedding we handed everything over to April so we could enjoy the rehearsal/wedding. She was well connected/respected with our vendors which helped immensely with all the moving parts of rescheduling. I would recommend her and will call on her again when the time comes for the twin sister to get married! -
