Amber is phenomenal! We hired Amber for both our engagements and our wedding. During our engagements we loved her ability to make us feel comfortable and capture the unique elements of our relationship. At our wedding she did an amazing job capturing all of the important moments, silly moments and everything in between. Our photos are timeless, natural and the perfect embodiment of my loving marriage. -

Amber did such an amazing job throughout the whole process.
We had to postpone our wedding due to Covid and she made sure rescheduling our date was a priority. Amber is very responsive and easy to communicate. For any questions we had she always had an answer.
Amber’s positive vibes also made us feel comfortable whilst we got our photos taken. As we aren’t models, we were nervous, but Amber made sure we were relaxed and all went smoothly.
All of our photos came out beautifully and we honestly go back and look at them every day to remember our big day!
We cannot thank Amber enough and would recommend her to any couples looking for a photographer for their big day! -

Best photographer!
Amber was literally everything we dreamed of and more when we hired a photographer for our wedding. Not only a great photographer but a great person. She was quick to respond, flexible with our schedules and wanted our photos to turn out just how we had pictured them. I can’t imagine not having the photos that she captured for us. She is so easy to work with and we absolutely loved her and our photos. I am always thankful we chose her to shoot our perfect day. -

We had started with one photographer only to get the photos back and be so disheartened. We had a very exact budget and I thought we wouldn’t be able to find a good photographer we could afford until I found Amber. Not only is she the brightest warmest light of a person, her photography is beautiful. She’s priced so incredibly well that I couldn’t believe we could get such value! She was kind and funny and helped me be at ease taking our photos. We still have some of our photos up in our house. She paid so much attention to the little details and still remembers to tell us Happy Anniversary. She’s incredible and even when our venue was altered last minute due to rain she didn’t miss a beat. Don’t miss out on hiring Amber!! -

Wedding photographer
Amber was absolutely incredible to work with and I am so glad that I chose her as our photographer! From the first interactions via email about pricing/packages to the efficiency and stunning quality of her work.... I could go on and on about how grateful I am! She was excellent with communication leading up to our wedding day, planning out locations and timeline and even after the event she followed through with regular communication about release of photos, creation of our album, downloads and ordering prints, etc. The day of our shoots, she was so awesome with guidance, encouragement, lighting choices, and backgrounds. Her use of color and composition are phenomenal and more important than anything, she really captured the joy of our day! -

Choosing Amber to be our photographer was truly the best decision we made! She took our engagement, bridals, and wedding photos. We have been so blown away at her work! She makes you feel so comfortable and you honestly forget you’re getting your pictures taken so she is able to capture the most amazing little moments. We did our bridals and first look on the same day to save us time on the wedding day and the weather was not cooperating but she came up with the best plan for us to still make it happen and work in between the little rain storms. She truly was so positive and made me feel so comfortable and confident so we were able to continue with pictures at various places up at Snowbird and the pictures turned out amazing! I’m talking my absolute dream pictures... like something out of the wedding magazines! On our wedding day Amber was so cute, she was so excited to be there and see us all and got such great pictures of us getting ready. One of the most admirable things about Amber is her time management. When it came time for bridal party and family pictures she knew what our schedule looked like and she was able to take SO many pictures without making us feel rushed at all! AND these pictures are some of our favorites.
You will get your pictures back so fast and Amber is great about communicating through the whole process, from first signing the contract to after the wedding you will get emails and texts with updates.
Amber not only made all of our picture dreams come true but she truly became a friend and we are so blessed to have an amazing person in our lives! -

My husband and I were SO nervous about getting our photos taken. As soon as we got started Amber made everything so much fun and so comfortable. She gives enough direction that you don't feel like you don't know what to do, but still lets you do your thing and really show your personalities. I was really happy with what was included in the package and the quality of her prints and photo books are outstanding. She is so sweet, accommodating, and knowledgeable. Book with her! You will not regret it! -

Oh where to start... first she made us feel soooo comfortable with her!! She gets the candid moments and that is what was sooo amazing for me!! You can really tell our photos aren’t fake and that the love is there which was hard because the husband is a little stubborn for pictures! But she got him to be comfortable and they are AMAZING!! she did our engagements, bridals, and wedding!! Even at the wedding with the guests, she got the most amazing pictures that captured the best memories!! I do not know how she does it, but she is literally the best photographer. She even had the Best recommendations for florists, bakers, and more. My wedding would have sucked without her honestly. If you don’t book with her, you’re wrong!! -

I can't say enough good things about Amber! Years ago, I started following her on Instagram after I saw some pictures she had done and I knew I wanted her to do my wedding pictures. My husband and I don't like getting our pictures taken but she made the whole process fun and made us feel at ease. The pictures turned out so good! Not only that but she's super sweet, great to talk to, good to work with, and efficient! We got our pictures back super quick. After our wedding reception, we had lots of compliments on how great Amber is and how great the pictures turned out. Now we'll have photographs that we'll keep forever. -

Amber is one of the nicest, most professional and talented photographers that I have ever met. She has a natural and effortless way of making someone that is incredibly camera shy (and awkward in general lol) person feel completely at ease. Taking photos with her felt more like a relaxed hang out session, while at the same time feeling like we were constantly getting things done in a timely manner. I met her at a bridal show, and she stood out to me for multiple reasons. First of all, right off the bat, she was incredibly nice and smiley. Having met a handful of photographers at that point, everyone else felt really stuffy and borderline rude. Her work also speaks for itself. It is timeless, beautiful and I feel shows exactly how my husband and I are together. It isn't forced or fake looking, and isn't over-filtered like a lot of Utah photographers can tend to be.
We had ZERO snags throughout the entire process with her. She was a huge reason that our big day went off without a hitch.
If you are hesitant about booking with Amber for ANY reason,
I can assure you that booking with her is the right choice. :)

I adore Amber! Amber was such a joy to work with, and I could not have asked for a better experience. She was so accommodating, especially because we got rained out of our original venue. She came up with another place the same day to make sure our engagement photos were still magical. I will work with her again in the future. -
Jessica Sent on 01/19/2018Amber is so incredible!! First off, she got back to me right away...not two days later, I mean right away. This was huge for me, and is most definitely important when planning a wedding and you're looking for responses. She was willing to come to Kansas from Salt Lake City to photograph our wedding. And even though she was in a new place, the pictures she captured were amazing. She was flexible and willing to work with us, splitting her time into segments the day of my wedding (it was a Catholic wedding that lasted more than 12 hours) while still able to capture all the very important moments for us. I couldn't be happier with the pictures she edited for us. They were so colorful and the black and whites captured so much emotion. We continue to get compliments on them. She's also great to work with! She's friendly but still professional. I highly recommend Amber!

I was continually impressed with Amber's professionalism and how she was on top of everything. Before I could even come up with a question to ask her she had already sent us all of the information we needed. We had a blast taking photos with her too, she made us feel so comfortable and it was actually fun! And I haven't even mentioned how AMAZING all of our photos turned out! I am beyond satisfied with every aspect of hiring Amber.

Nicole Sent on 10/21/2017I could not recommend Amber highly enough! We found her at a bridal expo and she did our engagements, bridal/pre-wedding, and wedding photos. She was very professional but also so much fun to work with and super down to earth. Our pictures turned out AMAZING! I swear I’m not joking when I say that I look at them ten times a day. She sent us a USB with our digital negatives and it was personalized with our names on it and put in a magnetized case with pictures on the front and back. I really appreciate the special touches she adds and the attention to detail. If you want a guaranteed amazing experience and top notch photos, you have to go with Amber Shaw!

Corinne Sent on 08/19/2017Oh my where do I even begin! Amber is top notch! Like, the absolute best of the best! This talented girl is just killing it at her young age! I cannot say enough good things about our experience with hiring Amber to photograph our engagements and wedding. I had a tough time when deciding on a photographer because I just don't know what to look for when deciding something like that! What made me realize she was so talented was I would look at dozens of photographers work in a week and always be drawn back to her website. Then it dawned on me her use of natural lighting and brightness in her photos was what caught my eye and I found so beautiful! Then I found out she loves our furry friends as much as me and the hubby do and well it was meant to be haha! We are so very happy we hired Amber and if you are still looking, stop. She is the one. She is so good at what she does and professional and prompt to reply, I could just go on and on. Thank you Amber. Thank you for capturing these very important moments in our lives.
