  Amber is absolutely incredible!

  We absolutely loved Amber!! She captured all of our favorite moments and made us feel so comfortable the entire time. She knew all of the great places to take pictures and her poses and suggestions for us came out so perfect. All of our guests were commenting on how awesome she was & we still cannot believe how perfect all the pictures turned out. For two people who don't like taking pictures, we have over 400 that we love! We can't wait to use Amber for future events and will recommend her to everyone we know! Thank you again for going above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and for taking the most amazing pictures of our special day!

  No regrets, just book her!!

  Amber did a beautiful job capturing all of the precious memories from our November wedding. She was very calm under pressure, even dealing with our hyper dog during engagement photos and a strict timeline during the wedding day. I’m so happy with how all of our photos turned out and will absolutely recommend her to anyone in the Tampa Bay Area!

  Wedding Day

  We recently had the opportunity for Amber to photograph our wedding on 11/02/2023. From the very beginning Amber was extremely professional and easy to communicate with. We knew right away following our engagement session that she would be perfect for our big day. She was extremely organized and made our wedding day flow so smoothly. We received so many compliments regarding Amber and her efficient / professional shooting style. She even got sneak peeks delivered to us while on our honeymoon! We just received our full wedding gallery only a month following the wedding and are blown away by the photos! We cannot recommend Amber enough and will continue to use her for any of our photography needs.

  Amber Always Gets The Shot

  Amber was a phenomenal vendor every step of the way. We had to push our wedding date and she was very accommodating and flexible. She provided local vendor suggestions (that we ended up also booking and loved) and helped us create a timeline. Her photos speak for themselves. Her editing style brings the scenery colors to life while focusing on the emotion and feeling of the moment. We loved our engagement session and she made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. On wedding day she was early and keeping us on schedule. She designed a great shot list that helped me remember photos I definitely wanted but didn't even think to add to the list. She ensured we got every combination of family group photos too. During the reception, she was always at the center of the action and documenting priceless moments. Every time I get to look at our gallery I'm taken right back to that day. She was so quick in getting us our final gallery even during peak busy season. I am so lucky we get to look at these photos forever. I truly can't imagine our wedding day without Amber!

  A dream to work with!

  I had the absolute pleasure of booking with Amber for what was supposed to be my September 2022 wedding, that then ultimately turned into my April 2023 wedding due to hurricane Ian hitting Florida in September. Amber was so great to work with and more than willing to travel for my April wedding in New Jersey. Amber is attentive, professional, responsive, kind, and so creative. She was a dream to work with and she directed myself and my husband’s bridal parties so well. She is insanely creative and so good at what she does, which shows in the amazing photos! She was a dream to work with and I would recommend her to all brides!

  Amazing Photographer

  We were looking for a photographer for our wedding and search through a huge list of different photographers and It was between Amber and another one. It was a tough choice but we decided to go with Amber and we’re so glad! Her level of details of what she captures is absolutely amazing. We did our engagement session with her also and both of us didn’t know what really to do and she guided us throughout the session and the photo came out amazing. We knew the wedding photos were going to be gorgeous. She also worked at my venue before so she knew what and when to capture the photos and I’m just speechless. I would highly recommend Amber for any of your photos needs. I’m considering booking her for future photos session!

  The photos speak for themselves

  Amber has a huge heart, a very calming demeanor and is one of the best photographers In Tampa bay! We had such a blast taking our engagement photos with her at the beach. We chose to have Amber and her assistant both shoot our wedding and Amber was 8 months pregnant and still the photos came out absolutely beautiful and truly speak for themselves! We get told all the time that you can “feel” the moments she has captured! We will forever be grateful we chose her! Amber will be our go to photographer to follow us on our journey through our next chapter’s of life!

  Amber is absolutely amazing!

  Amber has an amazing eye and is so easy to work with. She makes you very comfortable while taking pictures, bringing out those perfect expressions that she captures. There just aren’t enough words to describe how incredible all the photos were! She really knows how to find those perfect angles and the natural lighting. Since we were having a small beach ceremony, I wanted to be able to have couple photos that really showed the uniqueness of Boca Grande. We took pictures at a few different locations and they all turned out amazing! Not only do I have pictures on the beach, but I have pictures at the lighthouse, banyan street, and Gasparilla Inn. We received our pictures very quickly and everyone is so in love with them! We are so grateful to have had Amber capture our wedding day!

  Hire Amber McWhorter for photography sessions

  Amber is an amazing wedding photographer! My husband and I felt very comfortable with her. I recommend having her take your engagement session photos as well, that way you can get any awkwardness out of the way LOL. Amber is professional and responds quickly to any of your wedding needs.   Beautiful Photography

  We did our engagement session and wedding photography with Amber and could not be happier. Amber made us feel so comfortable and captured our love impeccably. I look through our wedding pictures at least once a day and can’t wait to order some prints for our house, there’s so many to choose from!   Personable and Talented Photographer

  We used Amber for our engagement photos and wedding photos and she is incredibly talented. She was able to get some amazingly stunning photos - I never knew I could look that good! She is very easy to get along with and is able to give directions on cool positions and locations. Her Instagram is also full of great tips and tricks for photography sessions. I will never use another professional photographer.

  One of the best parts about our wedding was having Amber as our photographer! She is kind, professional, easy to talk to, and a phenomenal photographer. We had never had professional pictures taken until we did our engagement session with Amber, and she made us both feel so comfortable and confident in front of the camera. She helped me to create a timeline for the day of our wedding, and she also recommended a new DJ for us when ours cancelled a few weeks before the wedding. Our wedding was the first wedding I had been to, so I had no idea what to expect and was so nervous for how everything was going to come together. Amber helped me to relax when it started raining, and she helped us to know where to go and what to do next on our wedding day. She even instructed us on how to properly cut our cake LOL! Our pictures are so beautiful and we get so many compliments on them. We are so grateful for Amber and the time that she spent with us, and how punctual she was about getting our pictures back to us (seriously, she is so fast it is amazing).   Amazing Job! Only Photographer we'll ever use

  We met Amber for some Engagement Photos about 9 months before the wedding. While I had not lost the holiday weight I wanted to prior to the photos, Amber did an amazing job making us look great. I'm not a big fan of taking a lot of photos but Amber made the process fun and easy. When it came time to the wedding day, she did an amazing job getting all the photos we needed without wasting too much time! She knew we had a tight schedule and she kept to it and managed to herd our large families to get all the shots we needed. She's already sent us some preview shots and she's done an amazing job capturing our special day and I can't wait to see the rest. She literally got into the weeds to get the perfect picture and didn't let it keep her from capturing the amazing shots. She's got customers for life.

  We met Amber for some Engagement Photos about 9 months before the wedding. While I had not lost the holiday weight I wanted to prior to the photos, Amber did an amazing job making us look great. I'm not a big fan of taking a lot of photos but Amber made the process fun and easy. When it came time to the wedding day, she did an amazing job getting all the photos we needed without wasting too much time! She knew we had a tight schedule and she kept to it and managed to herd our large families to get all the shots we needed. She's already sent us some preview shots and she's done an amazing job capturing our special day and I can't wait to see the rest. She literally got into the weeds to get the perfect picture and didn't let it keep her from capturing the amazing shots. She's got customers for life.

  Amazing photos

  Amber was extremely professional and kind. We loved working with her!! She was extremely helpful with taking lots of family portraits and leading us with poses. She was never in the way of anything was a pleasure to work with! We love our photos!

  Amber is a fantastic photographer! Her eye for a beautiful picture is outstanding and she’s able to make ordinary things look extraordinary. She was a pleasure to work with and made sure to get every shot in a timely manner. She was helpful and patient when I wasn’t feeling well and had to stop for a few moments because of an illness associated with pregnancy. She has always been prompt on answering questions and getting back to us. We are so very thankful to have had her capture our big day!

She was very assertive and took charge when there was a threat of rain, and when working with fussy groomsmen who were tired of taking pictures. She was insanely efficient and we had more than enough time to take as many pictures as we could stand. She even seized the moment when a rainbow and beautiful sunset came out for the PERFECT photo opportunity. It's an absolute no brainer to work with amber- she was amazing! Communicating with her was so easy and she was really great at recommending vendors- which was a blessing when planning a destination wedding.
