Micro Beach Wedding
Amber photographed our micro beach wedding in august, and she was nothing short of amazing. The photos are absolutely breathtaking. More than that, she was a huge help in planning everything and keeping things running calm while other mishaps occurred. I couldn’t recommend her enough!!

We had the absolute pleasure of working with Amber McWhorter for both our engagement photos and wedding day, and we could not be more grateful. From start to finish, Amber was incredibly organized, professional, and thoughtful in her approach. During our engagement shoot, she made us feel so at ease — and that comfort carried through beautifully on our wedding day.
Despite how hectic the day was, Amber made sure to prioritize the specific photos we had requested, never missing a beat. Beyond that, she captured all of the photos that we didn’t even know we needed.
She has a special way of making you feel natural and relaxed, which truly shines through in every image. The photos turned out more beautiful than we ever imagined — I honestly never dreamed I would have wedding photos this stunning.
One thing that especially amazed me was how Amber handled the little imperfections — I had a few (…but rather significant) dress and skin issues on the big day, but you’d never know from the photos. She worked some kind of magic and made everything look flawless, all while keeping the lighting and moments incredibly natural and timeless. Her talent and attention to detail are nothing short of miraculous.
Amber didn’t just take photos — she captured every precious moment with care, authenticity, and an artistic eye. We couldn’t be happier with our experience working with Amber for our wedding at Lakewood Ranch Golf and Country Club. Our wedding was originally in October and postponed to February due to hurricane Milton. Amber was extremely flexible, professional and great to work with! From the first consultation to the final gallery delivery, every step of the process was smooth and enjoyable.
Lakewood Ranch is a stunning venue, and Amber captured its beauty perfectly—from the grand ballroom to the lush greens and golden hour over the fairways. Amber had an incredible eye for detail and made us feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera, which really shows in our photos. The candid moments, emotional shots, and romantic portraits are everything we hoped for and more.
On the day of the wedding, Amber was punctual, organized, and worked seamlessly with our planner and other vendors. Amber kept us on schedule without making us feel rushed and was an absolute joy to have around—friendly, calming, and genuinely excited to capture our day.
The final photos were delivered on time, beautifully edited, and presented in a gorgeous online gallery. We’ve already received so many compliments on them, and we’ll treasure them forever.

Amber did a beautiful job capturing all of the precious memories from our November wedding. She was very calm under pressure, even dealing with our hyper dog during engagement photos and a strict timeline during the wedding day. Wedding Day
We recently had the opportunity for Amber to photograph our wedding on 11/02/2023. From the very beginning Amber was extremely professional and easy to communicate with. We knew right away following our engagement session that she would be perfect for our big day. She was extremely organized and made our wedding day flow so smoothly. We received so many compliments regarding Amber and her efficient / professional shooting style. She even got sneak peeks delivered to us while on our honeymoon! We just received our full wedding gallery only a month following the wedding and are blown away by the photos! We cannot recommend Amber enough and will continue to use her for any of our photography needs. -

Amazing Photographer
We were looking for a photographer for our wedding and search through a huge list of different photographers and It was between Amber and another one. It was a tough choice but we decided to go with Amber and we’re so glad! Her level of details of what she captures is absolutely amazing. We did our engagement session with her also and both of us didn’t know what really to do and she guided us throughout the session and the photo came out amazing. We knew the wedding photos were going to be gorgeous. She also worked at my venue before so she knew what and when to capture the photos and I’m just speechless. I would highly recommend Amber for any of your photos needs. I’m considering booking her for future photos session! -

I had the absolute pleasure of booking with Amber for what was supposed to be my September 2022 wedding, that then ultimately turned into my April 2023 wedding due to hurricane Ian hitting Florida in September. Amber was so great to work with and more than willing to travel for my April wedding in New Jersey. Amber is attentive, professional, responsive, kind, and so creative. She was a dream to work with and she directed myself and my husband’s bridal parties so well. She is insanely creative and so good at what she does, which shows in the amazing photos! She was a dream to work with and I would recommend her to all brides! -

Amber has a huge heart, a very calming demeanor and is one of the best photographers In Tampa bay! We had such a blast taking our engagement photos with her at the beach. We chose to have Amber and her assistant both shoot our wedding and Amber was 8 months pregnant and still the photos came out absolutely beautiful and truly speak for themselves! We get told all the time that you can “feel” the moments she has captured! We will forever be grateful we chose her! Amber is absolutely amazing!
Amber has an amazing eye and is so easy to work with. She makes you very comfortable while taking pictures, bringing out those perfect expressions that she captures. There just aren’t enough words to describe how incredible all the photos were! She really knows how to find those perfect angles and the natural lighting. Since we were having a small beach ceremony, I wanted to be able to have couple photos that really showed the uniqueness of Boca Grande. We took pictures at a few different locations and they all turned out amazing! Not only do I have pictures on the beach, but I have pictures at the lighthouse, banyan street, and Gasparilla Inn. We received our pictures very quickly and everyone is so in love with them! We are so grateful to have had Amber capture our wedding day! -

We met Amber for some Engagement Photos about 9 months before the wedding. While I had not lost the holiday weight I wanted to prior to the photos, Amber did an amazing job making us look great. I'm not a big fan of taking a lot of photos but Amber made the process fun and easy. When it came time to the wedding day, she did an amazing job getting all the photos we needed without wasting too much time! She knew we had a tight schedule and she kept to it and managed to herd our large families to get all the shots we needed. She's already sent us some preview shots and she's done an amazing job capturing our special day and I can't wait to see the rest. She literally got into the weeds to get the perfect picture and didn't let it keep her from capturing the amazing shots. She's got customers for life. -
