I bought a ballroom sample dress and they brought it in three sizes, took out 2 of the 6 layers, bustled the train, and created straps for me. I later found my mom's dress and they restructured the dress and let out the waist. They specialize in wedding dresses, and have been doing this for decades. Great to communicate with. Hassle-free experience. Highly recommended! -
User2227734 Sent on 07/15/2015I took my wedding gown to Amazing Alterations after a less than desirable experience with another alteration shop in Seattle. I cannot say enough about Amazing Alterations, they saved my wedding dress by helping me with my vision to have straps added to a strapless dress. I always knew my wedding gown would have straps but I ended up selecting a strapless dress that I would add straps to. I wanted tulle straps that looked like they belonged. The girl that helped me (I wish I remembered her name) took the time to listen to my vision and created perfection all on her own. Amazing Alterations created the most beautiful straps imaginable, even more beautiful than I could have pictured. I told them what I wanted and they delivered. The best money I spent on our wedding. -

Mary Sent on 07/18/2014I bought a plain white formal halter dress from online and took it to Amazing Alterations to have them fit it to me and then do some additions to "glam" it up! They did a wonderful job! They added white cap sleeves, rhinestone beaded trim, and took in the waist. They additionally did ironing of my dress and veil. I added the sash and pin, and I wish I would have asked them to secure it with actual stitching instead of just a pin, because it came off after about six hours of wear (thankfully an easy fix!). Everyone thought my dress was beautiful! I couldn't have asked for a better result! -

Amanda Sent on 07/30/2012I wore my mother-in-law's wedding dress for my wedding, and when I received it from my father-in-law, it was in need of some significant updating. The staff at Amazing Alterations turned a vintage dress into a gorgeous modern gown that I was very proud to wear on my wedding day. They didn't pressure me to accept any changes, but the suggestions they made were completely spot-on and made the dress look gorgeous. The pricing was very reasonable and I couldn't be happier with the results. -
User2120999 Sent on 05/06/2015I took my wedding gown to Kandi, the owner, to have the skirt hemmed, the shoulders taken up and a bustle put in. I am short and large busted, so it did require a small amount of altering to the bodice. Kandi removed the boning from the bodice of the gown, which altered the fit poorly and resulted in my needing to buy different lingerie last minute. She was unpleasant to rude during both of my fittings, unfortunately by the time my dress was returned to me I didn't have another option to have it repaired by another tailor/ seamstress. My dress looked OK, but the experience overall was negative. There are several other options in Spokane, I strongly recommend if you have a choice to go with one of them. -
User2985218 Sent on 02/25/2017I took my dress in to get it altered. I took it to them because the place where I got my dress recommended (bridal collection) them. I schedule my appointment it was all easy and fast. I was super excited that I could get in fast. The lady that pined it was kinda nice-terrible BO. She told me where she would cut and I told her I wanted it a little longer. So she said ok. When I picked it up I noticed it was shorter than I wanted it. I didn't make a big deal since there was nothing that could be done about it.
A week before my wedding I was packing and wanted to turn my dress inside out to pack. And noticed the seams inside were undone and the straps didn't match up! Oh I don't want to forget that the pencil markings still show and the seams on the bottom aren't straight! I am so unhappy with it. It's very disappointing that you pay to have a service done and it not done correctly.
I wish I could upload pictures of the before and after they put their hand on it.

User2548614 Sent on 03/07/2016I drove from Pullman (an hour and 40 minutes) to have my dress altered. When I arrived nobody was there, so I called the owner. She told me that I made the appointment on the wrong day, February 6, and they were closed and couldn't help me. I always make appointments with my planner right in front of me, and on February 6 I was in Paris, so I would never have made that appointment. The owner never once apologized, or seemed to understand why I was frustrated at driving 3+ hours for nothing, but I was mostly upset that she said this was all my mistake. I am already nervous about handing my wedding dress over to someone, and if they can't even take ownership over a mistake in appointments, what would happen if they messed up my dress? I hope other brides have good experiences here, but I will not be trusting them with something as important as my dress.
