Working with Erik at Amaryllis is one of the best decisions we made throughout the wedding process! From start to finish he was great to work with, so knowledgeable and down to earth. He worked with us to stay within our budget, even if that meant re-working things where need be which was much appreciated. And then on wedding day Erik & his team absolutely blew away our expectations!! Our florals are better than we could have ever imagined - beyond stunning & truly took our breath away! Our guests could not stop talking about our florals and I am still getting compliments to this day. If you are still looking for a florist - book them!! You will not regret it! -

Erik was one of my favorite wedding vendors. He took time to sit with my mom and me to understand exactly what we envisioned for the wedding day. He was patient as we asked questions and accommodated changes up to the week of the wedding. He was honest about what he thought would work best and was very fair with cost. I was blown away by the floral arrangements on the day of the wedding and can’t thank him and his team enough. People are still talking about the flowers at the wedding; I had people in the floral industry suspecting they cost more than double what he charged. Will add photos when available from the photographer but I would highly recommend working with Amaryllis. -

Erik is the best!!
Erik knows what he's doing and it shows. Our floral arrangements for our wedding on 7/8/23 were so beautiful. He nailed our vision (romantic, elegant) and was able to give us recommendations on specific flowers that fit into our budget. Erik and the Amaryllis team were a dream to work with for our wedding. He knew exactly what we needed for tables and decor, which took a lot of stress off of us. The centerpieces, room decor, chuppah and cake details were absolutely beautiful. My bridesmaids bouquets were exactly what I wanted and his attention to detail, down to wrapping the bouquet in my wedding colors, is unmatched. I am absolutely obsessed with my bouquet. He captured the big beautiful vision I had with gorgeous colors and absolutely beautiful flowers. It came together better than I ever could have imagined. I cannot say enough amazing things about Amaryllis, especially working with Erik! The flowers/wedding décor were a high priority for us and our families, so there was a lot of stress around having the perfect arrangements and colors for our wedding ceremony and reception. From the beginning of our wedding journey to the actual wedding day, Erik was beyond helpful – incredibly patient, comforting, and responsive to our many, many questions. I remember when we first met with him, he gave us advice for approaching the wedding planning journey. He was someone we immediately felt comfortable working with. Erik helped us brainstorm and navigate tough creative decisions, such as how to thoughtfully repurpose our ceremony décor for our reception. Did I mention he is the most patient man alive? We went through at least 4 rounds of different design ideas, including coming to him 3 months before our wedding date to ask that we basically start from scratch – new colors, new designs, new budget. Erik took it in stride, meeting with me and my future mother-in-law for 3 hours to rediscuss every detail of our wedding décor and flowers. Let me tell you – our flowers looked STUNNING on our wedding day!! I was speechless when I walked into our ballroom and I still am honestly. Our guests gushed and gushed about how fabulous everything looked. Booking Erik for our wedding is one of the best decisions we made. -

Absolutely amazing!
Erik did an incredible job creating the flower arrangements, bouquets, and details for our church ceremony and wedding reception. He truly listened to what we had envisioned and executed it even better than we could have asked for. He was very knowledgeable and helpful and provided a beautiful sample centerpiece to show us his work before committing. We highly recommend his work! -

I can't explain the number of compliments that we've received about our flowers from Amaryllis! They were absolutely stunning! Erik was great to work with, helping make our vision for the day come to life. The ceremony decor, bouquets, boutonnières, and reception decor were all absolutely incredible. SPECTACULAR, SHOW STOPPING, AMAZING AND FLAT OUT PERFECT! Erik is unreal and super talented. He went above and beyond to make our wedding dreams come true. I never worried for one minute about our flowers. Everything I dreamed of was exactly what I got and more. We were fortunate to have Erik do both the Wedding and Bridal shower flowers. My venue recommended Amaryllis and I am so happy I met with Eric before any other florists. He was so professional and gave recommendations to fit my rose gold + blush theme perfectly. Not only was he responsive and flexible (Corona Bride here), the flowers were so elegant, full and beautiful, I couldn't have dreamed anything like this. Amaryllis has so many options to choose from and priced extremely well! I did not go over my budget but had the most beautiful flowers my guests have ever seen. These pictures don't do them justice - thank you so much to Eric and the team! -

Simply Amazing
Erik is amazing! He was courteous and responsive from the very beginning and always went over and beyond to bring our image to life. He is so knowledgeable in the field! Know that you are in great hands when you hire him for your wedding! Upon meeting with him, he instantly knew which flowers we needed. I am beyond obsessed with uour flowers and arch as are all of our guests! Thank you again Erik and Amaryllis for an amazing job! -

Erik and his team at Amaryllis are FANTASTIC. They are so easy to work with and are quick to respond to calls and emails. They really know what they are doing; I went into our appointment with a few words to describe my vision and Erik completely understood and was able to take what was in my head and make it a reality. I knew I wanted eucalyptus and light colored flowers in the bouquets and reception and he was even able to throw, my favorite, sunflowers, into an exquisite arrangement at cocktail hour. I cannot tell you how many compliments we got on the flowers at our wedding! The bouquets were beautiful, the table arrangements were perfect for our venue and Erik and his team created this breathtaking arrangement for over the fireplace in our ceremony that was able to be moved into the reception space that was a hot photo spot for most of our guests. Our venue planner said they were the most beautiful arrangements that they have seen there to date. I highly recommend Amaryllis for your wedding! -

Erik is absolutely amazing. We chose Amaryllis for our wedding on 2/12/17 and we could not have been happier. He nailed my vision EXACTLY and was able to give us what we wanted within our budget. There were no surprises with him, he was completely sincere and honest the whole time. From start to finish he was just a pleasure to work with. We have recommended him to so many people and we can’t wait for the next opportunity to use him again. He is the best hands down!!! -

Best Day Ever!
Can’t recommend this vendor enough! Erik at Amaryllis was amazing to work with and created the most beautiful centerpieces, bouquets, and ceremony decor for our November 11th wedding at the Pearl River Hilton. There was no need to meet with any other floral vendors once I met with Amaryllis. I had one picture saved and Erik was able take that and create a vision. He was professional yet gave very personal attention to our decor. This vendor was very accommodating and easily reached throughout the planning process. Erik was there to oversee the setup and check in with me on the wedding day and it went flawlessly. Again, so grateful to this vendor and would recommend to anyone for any decorating needs. -

One of our favorite wedding vendors
Erik is incredible. Erik is hardworking, trustworthy, extremely responsive, and extremely skilled. He listens to what you want and stays within budget. My bouquet was more than I could ever have dreamed of, and my bridesmaids kept their bouquets and are using them as centerpieces in their homes. We got so many rave reviews on the Chuppah, and all of the centerpieces glowed under our LED lights. Erik puts so much consideration into every detail - even our wedding cake- and this did not go unnoticed. We would recommend him to anyone and everyone. He went above and beyond! -

Breathtaking!
Working with Erik was an absolute dream, from the moment I sat down in his office he eased my mind about making my dreams become a reality. Erik is an absolute expert when it comes to flowers and picked out the perfect ones to complete my bouquet, fill my room and create the most gorgeous chuppah. Upon walking into my wedding I was absolutely blown away with how it looked and I couldn't have been more thrilled. Erik's attention to details and making sure that I was happy on my wedding day is exactly what makes him stand out and I would choose him again in a heartbeat. -

We changed our mind over what we envisioned for our wedding day so many times, and every time Erik was so patient and positive and listened to our vision. The final product was more magical than we ever could have dreamed of. Erik and his team constructed the most beautiful cherry blossom, spring wedding for us. From an absolutely exquisite cherry blossom chuppah to fireplace mantles draped with beautiful garland, flowers and candles, to centerpieces on every table that looked like they should be in wedding magazines -- Erik and his team went above and beyond. So many guests asked us if our centerpieces were fake because they looked too beautiful to be real. Any couple would be lucky to have Erik and his team do their wedding flowers. We cannot thank Erik and his team enough for making our day absolutely perfect.

Amaryllis Event Decor went above and beyond to make our winter wonderland vision a reality. From the moment we met with Erik we knew he would not disappoint but honestly it was even better than anything we could have ever dreamed of ! Our guests were talking about the center pieces all night and saying how classy and elegant everything looked. I was also told by so many people that this was the best decorated wedding they have ever been to! The Park Savoy (our venue) also said that this was one of the best if not the best decor they have ever seen. From the flowers and candles to the arch that was made for us we could not have been happier. Erik and his team made everything so beautiful and I would recommend him to anyone. He was worth every cent !

He is extremely responsive, available, flexible and talented. The room literally twinkled, as it should for a New Year’s Eve Wedding. My bouquet was beautiful as was my chuppah. Erik hung every light and assembled every centerpiece with love and care and it completely showed. I would use him again in a second and recommend him to everyone.

Carmen Sent on 06/07/2017The Only words that can describe the work done by Erik @ Amaryllis Event are MAGNIFICENT AND STUNNING. The flowers at our wedding were absolutely divine. Erik was an absolute pleasure to work with. He was given very little direction as flowers and décor are not our specialties, but he managed to exceed anything we could have envisioned.
The centerpieces were nothing shy of gorgeous. We walked into the reception room and our jaws dropped when we saw the beautiful centerpieces that he had created for us.
My Bouquet was everything that I dreamed it would be. Erik was even able to incorporate my brother's badge onto my bouquet which made it even more special.
Thank You, Erik, for going above and beyond to make our wedding so beautiful. You are a true master at your craft and worth every penny!

Brooke Sent on 10/27/2016Best florist ever! I was completely blown away by everything Erik and his team created for my wedding. The second I walked into the ceremony room my breath was taken away. Everything was perfect and more than I could have ever imagined. I literally almost fainted when I saw how beautiful the reception room was. Erik was so flexible with schedules and creative with his designs. I had no idea what I wanted and he took my numerous photo ideas and created the most stunning chuppah, centerpieces and cake ever (THAT CAKE!!!!). User4417369 Sent on 06/26/2015Our entire experience in working with Amaryllis was excellent: from my wife's initial meeting with Erik and the immediate comfort she felt with him and his company; to the creative back and forth communication process where Erik was always looking for tailored solutions without increasing our budget; to the actual flowers for the wedding which were elegant and beautiful; etc. It was a truly wonderful first rate experience. I'm in the service business and I appreciate companies and individuals that deliver on their commitments and I can not commend Erik and Amaryllis enough for this. They did everything they said they would do and really went above and beyond for us!
We could not have had a better experience working with a company and we are grateful that we found them.

Letty Sent on 08/01/2011Amaryllis absolutely made my wedding. In many weddings, guest will not care much or remember some of the floral arrangements. Not with Amaryllis. I had a decent budget and Eric made it look like a million dollars. -
User5788399 Sent on 09/22/2012Erik from Amaryllis did not deliver what was expected. He offered a free centerpiece to see what you will get, sounds good? Sure it does, but what we got at our wedding was not that same centerpiece, way less flowers, lots of green filler. When I was debating booking his services or another, I came across a great deal through another vendor, called up Erik to ask if he could match it and his response was there was no way he could make a profit off that. He asked what company it was, said he wasn't surprised to hear that, and figured it was them. He totally shot down this other florist saying he'd be afraid to book with them, their deal doesnt sound at all reliable, and I probably wouldn't be happy with the final product. So in the end, we booked Erik, who made us a beautful sample centerpiece..BUT that did not end up being the centerpiece we got at the wedding, very disappointing. My bouquet was also not correct, it was supposed to be all purple flowers (expensive flowers as he said) with just a few white roses in the middle, exactly like a picture I gave him. My bouquet ended up mostly white roses with some purples scattered about and they were already wilted when I got them. He charges high prices but doesn't give you the flowers you are paying for, instead uses cheaper flowers as filler. Consider Petals Premier, they are very nice people, they are the company that offerered a great deal that Erik trashed, and then he admitted after we booked him how they were his biggest competition. Nice right?
