Best decision we made for our wedding.
We used Amanda MacDonald Photography for our engagement photo shoot, wedding rehearsal, and wedding day photos and could not have been more pleased with the outcome. The quality of her photography speaks for itself, but in addition, her professionalism and flexibility make her a joy to work with. It is clear she cares about and loves what she does. In addition to being an exceptional photographer, Amanda is incredibly warm and approachable - it’s like we have known her for years. Being two people who aren't entirely comfortable in front of a camera, she seamlessly put us in the perfect lighting and angles while keeping us laughing and relaxed. I cannot believe how fast we received our photo highlights and the whole gallery. We were given beautiful photos of the best, most important, day of our lives and someone we feel like we can call a friend. We cannot recommend Amanda highly enough. -

I cannot say enough about how absolutely amazing Amanda and Jason are. We booked Amanda and Jason as our wedding photographers over a year in advance of our wedding and I'm so glad we did! Throughout the entire process of planning our wedding and through phone conversations, our engagement shoot, and via Instagram interactions, Amanda was so nice and helpful to us in planning our big day. My wedding party, family, and guests have all mentioned how relaxed, friendly, professional, and fun Amanda and Jason both were on wedding day. Even when I was worried we were off-schedule, running behind, or we were being too silly during photo times, Amanda reassured me that it was our day and that she was there to capture it! She never made us feel rushed or uncomfortable. She helped to make me feel comfortable and confident in myself and her photos make me feel so beautiful. When I told Amanda that we wanted to take a photo at the restaurant where we had our first date at dinner hour on a Saturday on Cape Cod, she without hesitation agreed and she and Jason accompanied us and got some great photos! They were so great at working together and with all of our other vendors. We had our photos returned to us so quickly, in addition to a sneak peek just hours after the wedding ended. Everyone I know has been raving about how beautiful our photos are and how many great shots they got. It's truly like reliving the day over and over again and we are forever grateful to you both for that! Choosing Amanda MacDonald Photo was one of the best decisions we made for the wedding! The Absolute Best!
My husband and I cannot say enough amazing things about Amanda and Jason! They were incredibly flexible, helpful, kind, and thoughtful with everything they did. They braved the cold for our engagement shoot in Maine (and even brought us hand warmers!) and were so supportive, warm, and flexible on our rainy and beautiful wedding day. As someone who was very nervous to have their photo taken so frequently, I cannot get over how amazing our photos are. The quality of the photos is outstanding, and they are by far the best team ever. We are so grateful to Amanda and Jason for providing us with these incredible keepsakes from this day. Thank you both! -

Molly Sent on 10/12/2017Where to begin!!!! I spent a lot of time researching photographers for our wedding, and when I found Amanda and Jason, I stopped! I knew they were our photographers the minute I visited their website. Amanda did our engagement shoot on a rainy day in November 2016 and we managed to sneak in our entire session in a break from the showers! We recently got married in September 2017 and they were so easy-going. Amanda helped calm my nerves as I was getting anxious about time. My husband said at the end of the night that Amanda and Jason are meant for each other, and meant to be doing what they do! They work incredibly well together, and I really loved having their individual and collective eyes to shoot our day. The photos are breathtaking, and I'm so thrilled to have them to look back again and again on our beautiful day! I can't explain it, other than to say that when I saw their portfolio, you can feel love in every single photograph. We chose not to use a videographer on our day, so it was incredibly important to me to have pictures that told the story of our day. It started raining right when our outdoor ceremony was supposed to happen and I delayed it because we wanted to get married underneath a tree. It cleared up briefly and misted throughout our entire ceremony. Seeing the raindrops on my husband's tux, to me, really highlights our wedding day story. We both really loved working with Amanda and Jason!

There are some priceless shots of my siblings and mother and me looking identical, in the most perfect way. User1951612 Sent on 12/04/2014Amanda was amazing. All her photos were fantastic. We were one of her first weddings, but if you look at the finished results, you would never be able to tell. She ended up photographing another wedding I was in, where she also did an amazing job. Very friendly, and most of the time you forget she is even there. Very easy to get comfortable with her.
