    Amazing wedding planner!

    From the first day we met, we had complete confidence that Amanda was going to assist us in creating the perfect wedding that aligned with our vision. Amanda was fantastic at listening and understood our preferred aesthetic and seamlessly developed a professional vendor team that all delivered wonderfully on the day.

    Amanda was in full control on the day of our wedding, with everything going off without a hitch, allowing us to totally enjoy it and not worry about a thing.

    We would definitely recommend working with Amanda to plan your special day, she is the utmost professional and as an added bonus, is a really lovely person.

    A calm, organized, point person before and during the wedding experience.

    We started our experience planning our wedding with an overall vision, but needed help tying everything together. Amanda worked with us for various changes, including our unforeseen change of venue 2 months before the wedding). She showed up and led our multiple site visits, kept us on track with a timeline and helped with details from vendor coordination to linen choices. She is the type of person you want to have around during stressful planning, she is always there to help, suggests great solutions, takes care of loose ends and is just a lovely person to be around! We are honored she was there to help us all the way through to our wedding.

    Amanda did an amazing job and our wedding was perfect! She was really on top of things, especially the day of, and made sure everyone was on schedule and all of the decor was where it was supposed to be. She alerted us to ideas we didn't even think of and helped us through the entire process. Not only did she make sure every detail was in place, she was a delight to be around and I was truly able to relax and enjoy the day. She is wonderful and extremely professional - I highly recommend her!

    Amanda was AMAZING! My husband and I lived 4 hours away from where we wanted to get married, so hiring a planner was a no-brainer for us. When researching, Amanda was so accommodating, answered all questions we had, and was so reassuring- again picking her was a no-brainer! Our wedding was so beautiful, she listened to all of our ideas, pinterest posts, and created an elegant event that my family and friends ranted and raved about. Every detail, even down to the plates and linens were so much more than I imagined, she allowed me to breathe and trully enjoy the big day!

    When beginning our wedding planning, I had it in my mind that maybe we wouldn't need a planner to assist us... but after working with Amanda, I can't imagine having done anything without her. She offered a huge amount of assistance both in the months leading up to the wedding and the day of. Amanda was very flexible and worked with us to build exactly what we dreamed of, and within our budget parameters. It was the absolute best feeling to see everything come together on the wedding day and I know that none of that would have been possible without her. I can't thank her enough for everything she did and know she will continue to make bride and grooms smile.

    Amanda is amazing! Our wedding day went perfectly thanks to Amanda! She seriously did amazing job with everything down to the last tiny detail. We cannot thank her enough for all her help and planning.

    Amanda is an amazing wedding planner. She really captured our vision for the day and helped us identify the style We were looking for. She planned every detail down to the aromatic rosemary sprigs on the napkin rings. She was very sweet and accommodating during the planning process, which made us feel very comfortable. Where she really shined was the day-of. Amanda made sure everything went off without a hitch. She ensured the vendors, guests, and family had everything they needed to curate a perfect wedding. And it was a dream!! We couldn't have pulled off the incredible wedding that we had without Amanda by our side!

    Amanda Landon was truly a God send for us and our wedding in Gilbert, Arizona. She made us feel like we were her number one priority. Amanda is very professional but also kind and friendly, so it is easy to trust her with all of your event needs. She responds very quickly and is extremely knowledgeable so she provides you with well informed answers to all of your questions. Our wedding day would not have been perfect if not for her. She listened to all of my wants, needs and concerns and addressed each of them, making sure I had the wedding of my dreams while staying within my budget. The wedding flowed smoothly and if there was ever an issue, I would have never known. She handled everything with grace and care, making sure we and our guests were happy. She is truly versatile and can craft an incredible event anywhere in any style. I absolutely loved working with Amanda Landon and would gladly use her again in a heartbeat!

    Amazing Planner and True Professional!

    Amamda is amazing and a true professional! She made us feel so at ease throughout the process and was unconditionally accommodating to our changing needs! Our professional relationship throughout the months leading up to the wedding was so wonderful that I have to tell you I missed talking to her after the wedding! We had an incredible day, it was everything we dreamed of and more! Everyone was so delighted with every detail and had a wonderful time! We are incredibly thankful for everything she worked with us on since day one in the process, from contract changes with vendors to the last minute changes in the ceremony and everything in between. Her patience never ran out with us and and she always provided a fresh supply of reassurance when i needed it. An absolute pleasure to work with and I only wish we could work together again!!

    Absolute Nightmare Wedding Planner Experience

    We hired Amanda to coordinate the many different logistical aspects of our wedding and instead of making this process easier, working with her made this process - which was supposed to be a special time -- unbelievably frustrating, exhausting, maddening, and upsetting. It's not an exaggeration to say that there were many times where it seemed like she was intentionally trying to sabotage our wedding. Please, save your money and look elsewhere -- working with Amanda was hands down the most stressful and awful part of the whole wedding planning process. She is rude, passive aggressive, defensive, refused to take accountability for her many expensive mistakes, and also refused to refund us for several items we were overcharged for. Here is an abbreviated list of what happened:

    -My husband and I are very organized and detail oriented, so we made sure to ask her 10 months before the wedding to let us know which vendors we needed to book ahead of time. We knew that our wedding weekend was a popular one, and that with the backlog of weddings from 2021, we would need to secure many vendors well ahead of time. We were planning to hire a shuttle company to take our guests from the hotel to our wedding venue, and we asked her in January of 2022 if we needed to book transport at that time. No, she replied, you have plenty of time to book it. We had our wedding in Paso Robles and because Amanda is a Paso Robles local, (we live in Los Angeles) we relied on her to give us accurate information about local vendors. So when we finally went to book our shuttles a couple months later, it turned out that all of her local shuttle companies were already booked for that date. "Shoot! It's a really busy wedding weekend," she would say to us time and time again, when it turned out that she had waited too long to book a vendor. So I took matters into my own hands, did my own research, and found a bus company available for our date that was HALF the cost of what she told us it would be. I had a million other things I needed to be focused on, but time and time again my husband and I would find ourselves doing the job that we hired her to do. Did she take accountability and apologize for this mistake? No, she became defensive, passive aggressive, and deflected the blame onto anyone and anything else.

    -She made MISTAKE AFTER MISTAKE in communications with vendors (in emails that I was cc'd on). Whether it was telling the rental company the wrong quantity of something, giving someone the wrong address, giving the florist incorrect information on what we wanted -- it was a full time job to simply read through her emails with fine tooth comb, because inevitably, on every single one, there was wrong information. It was beyond maddening.

    -She nearly ruined our wedding before it even happened by messing up the rental orders over and over again. Because our wedding was outdoors in October, I told her on several different occasions, for many months in advance that we would need to rent heaters. Then a few weeks before the wedding, at my urging, she emailed the rental company asking about the heaters. Oh, they responded, Amanda, you took those off the order weeks ago. We don't have any heaters on order for you, they told us. Why would she have gone rogue and taken the heaters off when I only ever explicitly told her that would need a lot of them? When I asked her why she did this, she told me it was for cost reasons -- Oh! Okay. She thought it was okay to make unilateral decisions about rental items, based off cost, even though we never discussed having to cut items from our order because of cost. Then when I asked if we could speak on the phone about this, because she wasn't responding to my emails, she denied my request and told me she only works over email. As you can imagine, I was extremely upset and let her know she needed to find other heaters. Luckily we were able to find another rental company with heaters, but had I not gone out of my way to make sure they were on the order (when they weren't), who knows if we would have been able to secure them.

    -We were charged for rental items that we didn't need (*And in some cases, NEVER REQUESTED) because she waited too long to adjust our order. She added a dozen umbrellas on stands that we literally never needed or asked for, ordered twice as many wine glasses than what we needed, as well as duplicate orders of flatware from two different companies. When I brought this to her attention, once again she became defensive, offered excuses, and eventually promised to refund us for these charges. After the wedding, she emailed me to let me know she would not be issuing any refunds to us, making her a complete liar.

    -The week of the wedding, it was unbelievable how awful and unresponsive she was, literally up to the moment where I was supposed to walk down the aisle. She was so terrible to work with that I had my cousin run interference to communicate with her. It truly makes my blood boil to think about this week and all the mistakes she made and how much stress it caused me and my husband. Two days before the wedding, I texted her asking if we could move around some heaters and open up some flaps on the tent. No response! She also did not respond to my texts when I asked her to give me a 10 minute heads up before I was supposed to walk down the aisle. Can you imagine? And then, even though we had run through our ceremony rehearsal multiple times, she missed the cue to give my sisters to walk down the aisle, and my poor husband was thankfully there to make sure they walked out on cue. He was running around like a madman doing her job because she literally just did not do it. He saw that the bartending staff was not ready when guests arrived, and that the champagne wasn't chilled, so he was managing them and telling them to go be ready with champagne, when he should have been relaxing and soaking in the last few moments before our wedding. He was so exhausted from doing her job for her on our wedding day that he was literally sneaking away to go take naps in a chair in between dinner courses. She promised me she would take care of getting the babysitters settled when they arrived at the house, and I learned later that no one was there to greet them or show them where to go, that they were wandering the house with a group of kids and had no idea where to set up with them.

    -There are even more maddening details about mistakes she made, her absolutely awful attitude, and how everything she did was literally wrong. If you want to see the emails between us, I will happily provide receipts. For now, I will leave it at this: when I look back on my wedding, despite the joy and the beauty of the day, it is marred with my anger and frustration at Amanda. She caused so much tension, so much time lost to fixing her mistakes, so much frustration at having to deal with someone who behaved like an immature child. A wedding planner is supposed to help you, but in Amanda's case, she nearly ruined our wedding. Please, take my word for it, and save yourself the money & the precious time that should be spent with your fiancee and loved ones celebrating this momentous moment in your lives. Stay far, far away from this person who poisoned our whole wedding experience.
